Jwhaley,

I've got some truly bad news for you. If what you wrote made any sense to you at all, you are stark raving insane.

The top 10 percent of income earners paid 71 percent of all federal income taxes. Even though they only earned 43 percent of all income. It would take a complete fool - as well as somebody who is clearly dangerous to himself and others - to try to argue that the people who pay 71 percent of the taxes should have their taxes hiked so that "everyone can get a tax break." But that is what you do.

The top 20 percent of earners pay 87.3 percent of all federal income taxes. The people you are talking about on the bottom fifty percent, meanwhile, pay 2.25 percent of all federal income taxes. And your meaningless gibberish about "the first $8,700" doesn't change those facts.

You literally demand that the people who pay 2.25 percent of taxes get a tax cut and those who basically pay 97.75 percent of the taxes get screwed. And you actually believe that you aren't stark raving crazy for saying that!!!

If the Bush tax rates expire, then let them ALL expire. So that a lot of people who HAVEN'T had to pay any income taxes for the last ten plus years can get to enjoy the privilege that the Democrat Party class warfare demagogues want only the rich to enjoy.

You had better check yourself into a psycho ward because otherwise you're going to end up being the next James Holmes. Now do that and quit bothering me with your blathering.

For the official record, I don't really want "everybody to get a tax cut." Because given the fact that nearly half of all Americans don't even PAY any federal income tax, that would actually be impossible. One can only get a "tax cut" if one actually pays damn taxes. But I DO want everybody who DOES pay taxes to get a tax cut.

"Either everybody should get a tax cut or everybody should get taxed up the wazoo. If you think that somebody else ought to have their taxes raised, YOU SHOULD HAVE YOUR TAXES RAISED"

Our tax system is graduated, which means that when tax rates are lowered on the bottom tax bracket, Currently 10% on the first $8,700 of income everyone gets said tax break on their first $8,700 of income whether you make $100 or $1 Million

On the other hand when you lower the top tax bracket currently 35% on any income earned above $388,350 only people who make more than that will see that tax break (and importantly only for any money made in excess of $388,350)

ergo if you want every one to get a tax break then you lower the rates only the bottom tax bracket. Lowering the taxes for upper brackets only apply to a very select few. So if you want everyone's taxes lower you should be in support of the democratic plan the let the bush tax cuts expire for income above $250,000 while keeping them in place for lower earners which everyone, even upper income earners will get on some portion of their income.

In sum - your stated position on taxes is inconsistent with the your statement that "everybody should get a tax cut"
