As it is, we conservatives tend to be tolerant of liberals while liberals are pretty much INTOLERANT of everything they don’t like.

I created a stir in my family by responding to a rather mean attack from a liberal in the extended family. It had always been FINE for the liberals in the family to have their idiotic little outbursts and lecture the majority-Republican family; but for one of us to actually respond to it in kind? Unthinkable.

If we don’t get outraged enough to stand up, then we won’t just lose our country; we’ll DESERVE to lose our country.

Arguably taxation without representation was enough to do the trick.

So we talk about how despicable foreign money coming in is. How about foreign voters. My city is occupied by many tens of thousands of foreign nationals who are more than happy to help with the tax collection.

Bearing that in mind they know how and who to vote for.

On a local talk radio program, our county clerk condescendingly assures us that it is a felony for a foreign national to vote. We all realize that the only test for citizenship during the entire electoral process is a yes or no check box next to “are you a citizen.”

Is there ever any scrutiny of any voter’s claim to being a qualified voter? No. Such scrutiny is prohibited by the doctrine of “harassing or intimidating a voter.”

So our county clerk can excitedly or breathlessly exclaim, “no incident of voter fraud has ever been proven.”

The trend in my city, in the name of expediency, is to make our elections increasingly “unobservable.” Poll chalengers or watchers aren’t allowed to see anything. The polling place is staffed exclusively by PERA. Public Employees Retirement Association.

I posed a hypothetical situation to a PERA lady once. “that guy doesn’t speak a word of English. He has presented an electric bill as a voter id. How valid is our assumption that he is a citizen?”

She replied “I think they should be able to vote.”

Election law determined by a government union on the fly at the polling place.

If you don’t like it you are harassing or intimidating a voter.
