Liberal Fascist Hypocrite Joan Walsh Says It’s ‘Racist’ To Go After Obama’s Family – After Viciously Slandering Bush’s Family In 2001.

March 27, 2013

Joan Walsh is a typical liberal hypocrite.  She literally says it’s racist to do what she herself did.  Only of course it wasn’t racist when she did it.

Here’s her article attacking George W. Bush as a father and then attacking his daughters back in 2001 (note that the picture of Bush’s daughter below was a prominent part of the Salon.com piece) back when it was wonderful to demonize the president:

The first family’s alcohol troubles
President Bush downplayed his own drinking problem and hid a DUI. Now his daughters are making news for underage drinking. Is there a connection?
By Joan Walsh

I don’t envy Jenna and Barbara Bush, going off to college under the watchful eye of the Secret Service and the international media. But the sudden flurry of headlines about the first twins’ alcohol-related mishaps raises new questions about the way their father handled his own “young and irresponsible” past.

I always thought it was a bad decision for Bush, as a politician, to refuse to acknowledge his wild youth — which, by his own account, lasted until he was 40. But now it seems it was a bad choice for Bush as a father. After his 1976 drunken-driving arrest was revealed last year, Bush said he didn’t admit it when he decided to run for president because he didn’t want his daughters to know about it. That was a mistake, and the twins’ recent run of bad behavior seems designed to let him know that.

There’s no evidence either twin has a drinking problem, but the string of news items involving their partying and scrapes with the law in the last few months can’t be ignored. First came the tale of Secret Service agents ferrying home Jenna’s boyfriend after he was arrested for public drunkenness. Then there were randy National Enquirer photos of Jenna, a University of Texas freshman, and a beer-drinking pal, and a story about her alleged marijuana use. Yale freshman Barbara, supposedly the studious twin, had a false I.D. confiscated at a New Haven, Conn., bar. In April, the Enquirer featured a lurid tale of Barbara’s drunken spring-break binge in Mexico, and by the end of the month all major newspapers were carrying a story about Jenna being cited by police at an Austin bar for underage drinking, while Secret Service agents waited outside.

Now, barely a week after a court appearance to deal with that alcohol citation, Jenna has been caught again using a false I.D. to buy alcohol at an Austin restaurant, with sister Barbara at her side.

Of course, many of us would have provided lively tabloid fodder in college if we’d been subjected to the scrutiny Barbara and Jenna Bush must endure. And their college drinking doesn’t mean they’ll turn into alcoholics as adults. Most teenage party girls become responsible citizens, eventually. Still, their recklessness in the first months of their father’s presidency suggests their parents screwed up by downplaying and even denying President Bush’s own drinking problem.

Bush’s he-man decision to quit drinking cold turkey is the stuff of legend. The morning after a boozy 40th birthday party in 1986, he woke up at Colorado’s tony Broadmoor Resort and decided, on his own, to get sober. Alcohol had begun to “compete for my affections,” Bush said later. Certainly he didn’t need Alcoholics Anonymous, he told the Washington Post: “I don’t think I was clinically an alcoholic; I didn’t have the genuine addiction. I don’t know why I drank. I liked to drink, I guess.”

But his close friends tell a slightly different story: “Once he got started, he couldn’t, didn’t shut it off,” Bush’s buddy Don Evans, now commerce secretary, told the Washington Post last year. “He didn’t have the discipline.” That sounds a lot like an addiction, though only Bush himself knows for sure.

He refused to discuss details of his drinking or rumored drug use throughout his political campaigns, relying on the stock excuse, “When I was young and irresponsible, I was young and irresponsible.” His parents have also repeatedly denied he had a drinking problem, even after several family crises involving his drinking came to light: an ugly Christmas confrontation with his father in 1972, after Bush drove drunk with his brother Marvin, crashed into a neighbor’s garbage cans and offered to fight “mano a mano” with his father; and the 1976 DUI incident near the family compound in Kennebunkport, Maine, with his then-teenage sister Dorothy in the car.

We know Bush’s problem drinking, including the DUI, was a family secret. The night a reporter broke the DUI story, Laura Bush called both daughters, in Austin and New Haven, to break the news to them. “I made the decision that as a dad I didn’t want my girls doing the kinds of things I did, and I told them not to drink and drive,” Bush told reporters. But he didn’t tell them about his own arrest.

The secrecy, of course, was a mistake. Anyone who works with alcoholics and their families knows honesty is crucial: The drinking parent needs to come clean about his or her problems, and kids need to understand the family dynamics that were established around the drinking. And as teenagers, they need to know that alcoholism is a disease — whether because of psychology or physiology or some combination of the two — that is remarkably hereditary, and think about their own drinking in that context.

“We know for a fact that [Jenna's] father had a long history of alcohol use and abuse,” Lynn Ponton, a psychiatrist who studies teenage risk-taking, told Salon. “And this is an opportunity for the Bushes … to talk honestly with their children about risk-taking and really provide guidance and increase communication. And I would wonder what type of communication is actually taking place.”

I wonder, too. I’d bet there hasn’t been enough communication in the WASP-y Texas Bush family, and it looks as if the first twins are acting out as a result. Even with a Secret Service detail, there are ways for young women to party, if they’re discreet. Clearly, the first twins aren’t. Their blatant risk-taking and public partying (the Secret Service waits outside the bars where they drink illegally?) seem designed to force a family reckoning that their father’s drinking never triggered.

I’m reluctant to play family therapist for a family I’ve never met, but I’d say that Bush may have gotten past voters with evasiveness about his drinking problem, but he hasn’t satisfied his daughters. And if he sticks to the sanitized, up-from-Broadmoor version of the story, he may someday find he won the White House at the cost of an honest relationship with his daughters.

An earlier version of this story appeared in Bushed! last month.

That was then.  As liberal fascism always declares, it can’t be fascist when we do it.  So liberal roach-thug Walsh apparently gets pissed off about what is actually a pretty straightforward piece at Breitbart and writes this stinking pile of crap that these days passes as “journalism” (note the considerably more flattering picture of Obama’s daughters in which they look considerably less drunk than their choice for Jenna’s pic above).

For the record, I read over the Breitbart piece.  Somehow I missed the parts that Walsh alleges are there about a) the color of Obama’s skin; b) the unfitness of Obama as a parent; or c) the disgracefulness of the president’s daughters.  Please note, however, how Walsh just flat-out poured hate on George W. Bush as a father and slammed his daughters even after acknowledging that she had any actual factual basis for doing so:

How not to seem like a racist
A tip for right-wingers angry about charges of racial bias: Try treating the Obama daughters with decency
By Joan Walsh

How not to seem like a racistEnlargeSasha and Malia Obama(Credit: Reuters/Kevin Lamarque)

Writing my piece on Andrew Breitbart and Tucker Carlson, I missed a huge example of overlap between their two sham-empires: the reporter who broke the Caller’s now-disgraced “scoop” about Sen. Robert Menendez patronizing prostitutes, Matthew Boyle, now works for Breitbart.com. And on Monday he penned the ridiculous story revealing the location of Malia and Sasha’s spring break vacation (which is now at the top of the Drudge Report).

On Twitter Monday and Tuesday, Breitbart fans attacked my focus on their hero’s bizarre racially driven crusades. They continue to insist that they’re being unfairly tarred with the charge of racism, when they’re the real “post-racialists” who just don’t like Barack Obama because he’s a liberal. I have some advice for right-wingers who don’t want it to seem like their anti-Obama animus is racial: Try treating his daughters with respect.

You’ll remember back in December, the NRA went after Sasha and Malia with an ad insisting that the fact that they have armed protection, when the administration was supposedly blocking armed security at America’s schools (actually, it wasn’t), was the height of hypocrisy – ignoring the many threats to their safety faced by the children of presidents and the tradition of Secret Service protection, for all of them.

The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper went even crazier, with a piece alleging that the girls’ school, Sidwell Friends, a Quaker school, had armed guards, too. Anyone familiar with the Quaker tradition of nonviolence found that claim strange, and of course, like most claims about the Obama family that come from the right, it turned out not to be true.

Unfortunately for the untalented Mr. Boyle, journalists have a consensus about not revealing the location of the presidents’ children’s vacations. Reporters don’t write about minor first children except when they’re attending “official or semi-official events.” It’s considered a security risk. As the Washington Post’s Paul Farhi reported last year:

The ban on such coverage has existed through many administrations by informal agreement with the White House Correspondents’ Association, which represents the interests of journalists who cover the president.

“There’s a general feeling among the press corps that it wants to be respectful” of the president’s children, said Caren Bohan, the White House reporter for Reuters who is president of the WHCA.

When Agence-France Presse wrote about Malia’s trip to Mexico last year, a few U.S. outlets picked it up, and the administration tried to get the details removed. Then an earthquake in Mexico made the first daughter’s vacation newsworthy, and other sites, justifiably, reported it.

A year later, along comes the brave Matthew Boyle, fresh off his Menendez humiliation, to tell Breitbart readers about the Obama girls’ vacation. The news hook seems to be that it’s a waste of money.

“It is unclear how long the first daughters will be staying in the Bahamas, or what the cost will be to taxpayers,” Boyle harrumphs. “Earlier this month, the White House canceled public tours as a result of the recent budget sequester, citing Secret Service staffing costs.”

Esquire’s Charlie Pierce put it better than I can:

What possible interest does this serve, except to titillate the dark and envious nether parts of Boyle’s 22 readers? (No link, because fk that pudgy little monster.) There is no possible news value to this. Sooner or later, the frolicks of what my pal [Eric] Boehlert calls the “rightwing entertainment complex” are going to get someone killed.

The theme of most right-wing stories on Sasha, Malia and Michelle Obama’s vacations and leisure-time activities seems to be that they’re entitled princesses, when they do exactly the same kinds of things other presidents’ families have done throughout history. There’s only one difference I can see.

Drudge is also hyping the president’s vacation with the blaring headline “A vacation a month.” That’s another racially tinged trope on the right, that our first black president seems to be a little, well, lazy, because he can’t stop taking vacations. Of course, Obama is on track to take about a fifth of the vacation days George W. Bush did over his two terms. Obama took 131 vacation days in his first term – which would amount to 262 if he kept that pace in his second term. Bush took a staggering 1,060 vacation days over eight years, by far the most vacation in history (he also took the longest single presidential vacation in the modern era, a full five weeks.) Can someone explain why Obama is supposedly the vacation-hog?

Oh, and the comments on Boyle’s Breitbart.com story are pretty awesome, too. Here’s a good one:

They will indeed grow up to be monsters. Very, very, angry and vengeful monsters. Just like momma… Especially after they are forced to visit their obamination of a father in a federal penitentiary following his impeachment and conviction for Treason… Although I’d far prefer they visit his plot occasionally following his hanging for treason.

Boyle is perfect for his new employer (although he was a pretty good fit for the Daily Caller, too). In a post explaining why he jumped ship (which didn’t mention the higher salary he got), he bragged about “enlisting in Andrew Breitbart’s army … I’m shipping out today. It’s time to go to war.”

A war on the president’s daughters? Boyle ought to talk to some veterans of actual war. What a putz.

Paul Farhi’s story on the media’s traditional treatment of first children quoted Democratic pollster Celinda Lake on the political appeal of Obama’s family: “The value of the family is enormous. The more you know this family and the more you think of Barack Obama in these terms, the harder it is to vilify him.”

That’s true for the vast majority of Americans. But not the haters and racists who belong to Breitbart’s “army.”

The galling, appalling hypocrisy of liberals and liberalism is disgusting beyond belief.

Hey, maybe if Barbara and Jenna Bush had jetset all over the world on other people’s money the way Obama’s daughters have, they wouldn’t have, they wouldn’t have ever had any issues with alcohol.  That and the fact that the Bush daughters were in their college years rather than their grade school years like Sasha and Malia.

I have documented in the past that being “white” is no more a defense against “racism toward whites” than liberals accord to black conservatives for being immune to racism because they’re black.  Do I seriously need to post articles of liberals going after conservtive blacks in a racist manner?  Condoleeza Rice, Justice Clarence Thomas, Allen West, Michael Steele, Stacey Dash, Dr. Benjamin Carson, pretty much ANY black person who has ever expressed conservative views in his or her life, is labelled “Uncle Tom,” Oreo Cookie and far, far worse.  So blacks can’t be “racist” because of the color of their skin on liberal theory unless they’re conservative blacks – in which case they are the quintessential ESSENCE of racist bigotry regardless of the color of their skin on the view of these self-refuting turds.  And then these hypocrites declare themselves inpeccable – i.e. incapable of sin – while they define their opponents as ONLY capable of nothing BUT sin.

Facts get in the way, of course.

Karl Marx was a self-hating Jew who actively despised Jews in his writings.

If you can be a self-hating black, as liberals assert conservative blacks are by definition and if you can be a self-hating Jew, as Karl Marx clearly was, then just how the hell is it impossible to be a self-hating white???

Thus, by liberals’ vicious attacks against black conservatives as being self-hating blacks, and literally by her own diatribe, Joan Walsh is a far-leftist intolerant racist bigot.  She is a self-hating racist race traitor according to her own demonic views.  In addition to being a truly crappy excuse of a human being.

This is what pisses me off about the left above all else: they constantly drool out the most vicious and self-righteous slanders while demonizing everyone on the other side for doing the tiniest FRACTION of what they hypocritically do.  Unless you actually want to defend her attack against Bush relative to the innocuous piece that she poured her hate on in Breitbart.

It’s time to go, Walsh, you Nazi.  That that your fellow jackbooted stormtroopers right out of the Joseph Goebbels Ministry of Propaganda mold will ever make you leave.  Becuase they’re all as hypocritical and as fascist as YOU are: they’re just not as STUPID as you are in your glaring obviousness as a biased ideologue useful idiot.

Note: AJ Delgado took on the hypocrite Joan Walsh first.

We could add in stuff like the debt, the deficit and the debt ceiling.  But who’s counting?  Not the mainstream media, that’s for sure.

It is amazing how hypocritical the Democrat Party and the liberals who form their core truly are.  They are bad people and bad people always prefer lies just as they are always hypocrites.  You cannot have an honest argument with people who say one thing,do another – and then say something completely different without ever having acknoweledged how dishonest they were from the beginning.

In order to have a fair and honest debate, you simply have to have both sides have integrity.  We don’t have that as long as we have liberals with any power.

Gasoline Most Expensive In History Of America Under Obama. That’s ANOTHER Tax On The Working Man Obama Has You Paying.

January 3, 2013

Given that Obama – who demonized George Bush for accumulating less than $5 trillion in debt over eight years – somehow managed to rack up more than $6 trillion in only four years, it is frankly amazing that you actually have liberals out there who are demon-possessed enough to argue that Bush really spent more.  And this demon-possession of liberals is so pervasive that it extends even to gasoline.  Yes, that’s right: no matter how ridiculously obvious the truth is, liberals despise truth and demand that they be entitled to replace the truth with lies.  So in spite of the fact that U.S. gasoline prices set a record last year to shatter George Bush’s 2008 record, and in spite of the fact that Obama in 2012 shattered his own 2011 record for highest gasoline prices ever, liberals continue to live in their own stupid little world while the actual world around them goes to hell.

Take a look at this:

California’s 2012 average gas price was $4.028 a gallon
The 2012 average for a gallon of regular gasoline in California shatters the previous record — set in 2011 — by 21 cents.
By Ronald D. White, Los Angeles Times
January 1, 2013

Californians had a bad year at the pump in 2012, averaging a record $4.028 for a gallon of regular gasoline, according to AAA.

That shattered the previous record, set in 2011, by 21.3 cents a gallon. The jump was so big that it surprised even people who review fuel prices on a daily basis.

“I can remember when the California average for the year in 2008 was $3.525 and we thought we would never see it go that high again,” said Marie Montgomery, spokeswoman for the Automobile Club of Southern California.

She noted that $4.028 “over a full year is a lot of money out of our pockets that we can’t spend on other things.”

California’s gas prices in 2012 also helped kick the national average for a gallon of regular up to a record $3.603, which broke the previous record, set in 2011, of $3.510, AAA said.

The increase in California fuel prices in recent years is startling. In 2008, the year oil prices shot above $147 a barrel, the state averaged a then-record $3.525 for a gallon of regular gasoline, according to AAA.

The California average fell to $2.687 a gallon in 2009, then climbed back above the $3 threshold to $3.100 in 2010. In 2011, the state’s average for the year jumped to $3.815 a gallon.

Since 2009, the average price that Californians pay for a gallon of regular gasoline has jumped nearly 50%.

California has some fuel factors that are unique. It’s an isolated market that does not have access to cheap crude flowing from the oil boom in states such as North Dakota, Texas and Oklahoma.

Its only regular source of domestic crude from outside the state is Alaska’s dwindling North Slope oil fields. That means California has to import more and more foreign oil, which is substantially more expensive than U.S. crude.

California’s clean-air rules also mandate a special formula of gasoline that is more expensive to make and is produced by few refineries outside the state.

Analysts have cited many reasons for the 2012 prices, including one of the worst years ever for refinery outages in California. A fire in August, for example, knocked out part of Chevron’s Richmond facility, one of the state’s biggest refineries.

In October, a power failure at an Exxon Mobil refinery helped send California’s average price up to a record $4.671 for a gallon of regular.

But a lot of people aren’t buying those explanations. Consumer groups and California’s U.S. senators, Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer, have called on the state attorney general and the Justice Department to investigate California’s volatile fuel prices.

California refineries were also exporting fuel in 2012, and an analysis by Oregon-based McCullough Research indicated that some of them may have misled the public about the amount of fuel they were producing.

I italicized the bold-face type describing how liberalism is stupid and counter-productive and makes living impossible until everybody flees to states that actually AREN’T fascist.  And it is pretty damned amazing that California would blame its sky-high prices on “foreign oil being more expensive” given the fact that California has PLENTY of oil if it were just legal to obtain it.  Sadly, California is dominated by liberals, and liberals are truly stupid people, so they’ve largely banned offshore drilling.

I just wish that Californians would vote to personally bankrupt themselves and then commit hari kari and get it over with.  But California liberals are a slow, stupid people who apparently want to linger, and prefer a slow, torturous death by liberal stupidity.  So they voted for Obama even though he has utterly screwed them.  You know, the way the North Korean people kept voting for Kim Jong-il and then his son Kim Jong-un.  And hang the pictures of these murderous dictators in their homes.  And worship them as “Dear Leader.”  While their country and their children are ground into dust.

In another article I proved that Obama had made gasoline 85 cents a gallon more expensive than George Bush ever did.  Not that actual facts matter any more as America careens idiotically toward complete national collapse.

Under Obama, and due to his stupid and frankly evil gasoline policies by which he attacks the fuel the American people absolutely need to get by in the modern world, gasoline is now MORE than fifty cents a gallon more than it was in 2008 when Obama was slandering George Bush:

Every single working American is going to pay shockingly more this year than he ever has before. Because Obama just hiked his Social Security taxes for the middle class and because Obama passed the largest tax hike on the middle class in American history in the form of ObamaCare. And because Obama imposed bigger and costlier regulations than any president before him. And yes, because Obama made gasoline more expensive than any president who ever lived.

This is God damn America, pure and simple.  And in God damn America, God allows stupid and greedy people to elect and then re-elect a lying demagogue who will bankrupt and implode America.

All the rest of us can do is try to prepare as best we can for the crash that is coming.  And in the meantime try to keep documenting why America fell while we still have the freedom to do so.

(At Least They Aren’t Blaming Bush!): Obama Team Blames Romney, John Kerry, The Moderator AND The Altitude For Obama’s Disastrous Debate Fiasco

October 8, 2012

Rest assurred, if the Obama campaign could have figured out a way to demonize George W. Bush to explain Obama’s failure in his first debate, they would have done so.  After all, that’s pretty much how they’ve explained ALL THE OTHER Obama failures up to now.

Team Obama Blames John Kerry for Debate Loss
by Alexander Marlow6 Oct 2012, 3:44 PM PDT533post a comment

The Obama campaign has been reeling since losing the first Presidential debate of this election cycle in front of 67 million viewers.  They’ve tried–and thus far failed–to craft a narrative to explain away the debacle in Denver.  Previously, we reported to you that Obama Senior Advisor David Plouffe, who ran the President’s successful 2008 campaign, (falsely) accused Mitt Romney of lying.  In a rare comedic moment from the typically robotic former Vice President Al Gore, he suggested on Current TV that the Mile High City’s altitude was the reason Obama was low on energy and enthusiasm.  And, of course, Obama’s chronically dishonest deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter and several others passed the buck to the moderator, Jim Lehrer. None of the above caught on, even with the mainstream pro-Obama media.

Now the Obama Administration is floating their latest excuse: that the campaign, particularly John Kerry (who played the role of Romney in simulated debates), did not channel Mitt’s aggression enough.

From CBS’s “This Morning”:

Norah O’Donnell: “Some Democrats say [Obama's] campaign needs a wake-up call.  Bill Plante is here with that part of the story.  Bill, you’ve been talking to your sources; what are they saying?

Correspondent Bill Plante: “Well Norah, they’re simply upset and really outraged.  They blame the President’s team, first of all, for not preparing him to meet the challenge of an aggressive Mitt Romney.  They say that nobody in the room challenged him, including the guy that he was debating with, John Kerry, because, as they say, he wants to be Secretary of State so he’s not going to get in the President’s face. And Presidents are used to deference; they’re not used to people challenging them like that.  So they think that the debate prep was terrible, but they also fault the President himself for not understanding that Romney was going to be more aggressive.”

The 2012 Obama campaign continues to be a stark contrast from their 2008 effort.  In 2008, then Senator Obama used youthful ebullience, soaring rhetoric, and a precise campaign infrastructure to capture the hearts and minds of the American people.  In 2012, the President seems increasingly lethargic and quick to make excuses for missteps on the campaign trail.

What once was “Hope and Change” is now “Mope and Blame,” and this time it’s John Kerry under the President’s bus.

Along with the liberal New Yorker and of course Clint Eastwood, I blame the chair:

Actually, we ought to lay the blame for a president who was clearly incompetent on the backs of the American people, who were so dispicably foolish in 2008 it was unreal.  But as stupid and as depraved as it is to believe the Emperor had clothes on in 2008, anybody who still thinks the naked turd stinking up the presidency is anything but an empty suit when we desperately need a leader is simply in the category of “demon-possessed.”

Vicious Democrats Furious That Romney Visited Hurricane Isaac Disaster Site (Because Now The Hypocrites Can’t Demonize Him For NOT Visiting)

Harry Reid: Mitt Romney Trip To Louisiana ‘Height Of Hypocrisy’
The Huffington Post  |  By Elise Foley Posted: 08/31/2012 4:15 pm Updated: 08/31/2012 4:40 pm

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) criticized GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney on Friday for traveling to Louisiana to survey damage left by Hurricane Isaac, saying his vice presidential pick aimed to block disaster relief last fall as a member of the House of Representatives.

“It is the height of hypocrisy for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan to make a pretense of showing sympathy for the victims of Hurricane Isaac when their policies would leave those affected by this disaster stranded and on their own,” Reid said in a statement.

Romney visited Lafitte, La., Friday to meet with Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) and first responders to the hurricane. “I’m here to learn and obviously to draw some attention to what’s going here,” Romney told Jindal, according to a pool report. “So that people around the country know that people [down] here need help.”

But Reid didn’t see it that way. He used the visit as an opportunity to bring up Rep. Paul Ryan’s (R-Wis.) budget, which he said would “gut disaster funding, making it much harder to get aid to our fellow Americans in their time of need.”

“This is yet another example of Mitt Romney’s extreme right wing agenda, which asks middle class families to sacrifice in order to protect millionaires and billionaires from paying their fair share,” Reid said.

Ryan campaign spokesman Brendan Buck responded with a counterattack.

“Paul Ryan believes providing aid to victims of natural disasters is a critical obligation and should be treated as a high priority within a fiscally responsible budget,” he said. “It’s sad that some see these heartbreaking events as opportunities to distort his record and play politics.”

President Barack Obama plans to visit Louisiana on Monday. Romney adviser Stuart Stevens told reporters he didn’t think it was inappropriate to precede Obama’s visit, ABC’s Emily Friedman tweeted.

When reporters asked White House Press Secretary Jay Carney about Romney’s visit, he took a far more diplomatic tone than Reid had.

“I think that it’s always important to draw attention to the fact that individuals and families and business owners are profoundly affected … that’s an important thing to do,” Carney said.

First of all, let’s say I’m talking to a typical liberal puke who is living in mommy’s basement believing that jobs are for capitalists and that he or she is entitled to live off of somebody or anybody else; you own something.  On Harry Reid’s demonic cockroach view, if you would be opposed if government barged into your house and took EVERY SINGLE THING YOU OWNED - your house (or mommy’s house anyway), your car, your clothes, your furniture, etc., etc. – to give them to disaster victims, then you are a bad person and you by definition don’t give a damn about anybody.

If you oppose ANY cut in government spending in ANY way, shape or form, if you don’t want infinite spending on disaster relief, you are a vile human being who should be demonized.  That’s Harry Reid’s view.  If you don’t want the State to have control over EVERYTHING so that it can offer relief with YOUR money, you’re evil.  You don’t care about anybody.  Only communists who want the government to have total dictatorial control over everything and everybody care.

Let me put it this way: let’s take Harry Reid’s position.  Couldn’t we do more for these poor disaster victims if we just taxed a little more?  And couldn’t we do even more if we just taxed a little more than that?  Democrats demonize the rich (like the good Marxists they are) and say we can have more money to help the poor if we just taxed the rich more; but we could have a LOT more money if the government just took it all on the Democrats own “logic,” right?

FACT:  A study by the Joint Tax Committee, using the same static methodology that I refer to in my opening paragraph, calculate that the government will “lose” - again, because Democrats are communists and literally believe that they own EVERYTHING the people earn, such that such that the government “loses” money if it doesn’t tax people more - $700 billion in revenue if the tax cuts for the top income brackets are extended. And that sounds bad, doesn’t it?  But they also conclude in that same study that the Bush tax cuts on the middle class will cost the Treasury $3 TRILLION over the same period. If we can’t afford to “give” the rich$700 billion, then how on earth can we afford to “give” the middle class” $3 damn TRILLION? And then you’ve got to ask how much the Treasury is losing by not taxing the poor first into the poorhouse, and then into the street? And how much more revenue could we collect if we then imposed a “street” tax?  That’s the way the old Soviet Union worked; if you DIDN’T work you were defined as a shirker and you went to the gulags to be a slave laborer until the system ground you into dirt.

You need to understand something about history: the Marxists who took over Russia and “fundamentally transformed it” into the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics were just like Obama and the Democrats when they took over.  They promised the damn world with their “hope and change” Utopia.  About the only thing you can say in comparison to the Marxist Soviets is that they weren’t as grandiose in their promises as Obama was; because at least the Soviets never promised they would lower the level of the oceans and heal the damn planet like Obama did.  But the rubber met the road, and once the Soviets got their power with their promises of “hope and change” for everybody that the “rich” would pay for and those promises failed, well, things started getting increasingly nasty.

Why did this happen?  You need to understand something: if you take away the incentive to work harder and smarter by taking away the reward for working harder, for longer hours, risking more, saving more, investing more, then the incentive to work diminishes.  It is a necessary result of the class warfare that the communists played in Russia and that the Democrats are playing now.  And as fewer and fewer people work, and the rich are demonized and taxed and then demonized and taxed some more, you will necessarily get exactly what we are seeing: fewer people working, fewer people paying taxes, more people on welfare and disability.  That’s when you get to the “dark side” of what Michelle Obama predicted: “Barack Obama will require you to work…  Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed.”  And Arbeit Macht Frei.

Obama heralded something that the human race had never seen: a trillion dollar annual deficit.  Not only was Obama the first president or leader to ever do that in human history, but he’s pulled off this insane feat every single year of his presidency.  One year – just one year – the reckless Marxist racked up a $1.6 trillion budget deficit making his bullcrap promises.  The day is going to come when Democrats get the power they want, and they will take over just as leftists have taken over every government they dominated.  And then will come the gulags.  There will just be no other way out, just as there was no other way out for the Russian communists.

So I presume that no liberal is reading this: because that would mean that said liberal hadn’t given up his or her computer to some victim in Louisiana and is therefore a greedy little rich bastard.  And we can safely say that all liberals are currently walking around naked because shame on them if they are wearing clothes that a hurricane victim could be wearing.  Or eating food that should go to a disaster victim.

Liberals are in love with the “generosity” that they display every time they spend money that they seized from somebody else.

That proof of abject liberal hypocrisy out of the way, let’s talk about what hypocrites liberals are.

This picture of George Bush was all Democrats needed to demonize Bush for refusing to visit the Katrina disaster area:

Democrats jumped all over Bush as “detached and uncaring” for merely flying over the disaster.

Bush was the kind of true leader who accepted responsibility even for the way he was viciously demonized.  Versus Obama who has never once accepted responsibility for a single thing in his entire life.

It didn’t matter that Bush flew over because had he landed he would have been taking up enormous security resources that would have been better spent helping victims.  Democrats aren’t people who care about facts or reality; all they care about is rhetoric and demagoguery.

It’s funny: Louisiana is now a Republican state in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Maybe that’s because it wasn’t Republicans who left 2,000 school buses to sit uselessly in flood water while people died for lack of transportation. Maybe that’s because it wasn’t Republicans who offered the most idiotic excuses rather than own up to their utter failure to lead or organize.

But my God, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida and Alabama - IN OTHER WORDS EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE GULF STATES - are now under Republican control, and yet you’ve got demon-possessed roachboy Harry Reid saying that Republicans literally don’t give a damn about Republicans.

When the Democrat leader of the United States Senate is allowed to make these kind of outrageous and morally insane remarks, it is all the proof you need to know that the Democrat Party is the Party of Roaches.

If Mitt Romney had NOT visited Louisiana to see the aid for victims of Hurricane Isaac, Harry Reid would have demonized him all the more.  Because Harry Reid is a demon-possessed little cockroach and demonizing hate is all that flows in his roach veins.

Meanwhile, where’s Obama?  He’s campaigning:

FORT BLISS, Texas — President Obama was planning to visit storm-stricken Louisiana before GOP rival Mitt Romney announced his plans, White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters aboard Air Force One Friday morning.

Romney’s campaign announced his trip to New Orleans — he is touring areas hit by Hurricane Isaac this afternoon — hours before the White House announced Obama would cancel a planned Monday campaign event in Cleveland to divert to Louisiana.

Carney offered no details about where in Louisiana Obama would travel during his Monday trip.

“In terms of the President’s travel, obviously when you’re president of the United States, coordinating travel carries with it I think unique logistical challenges,” Carney said. “And it was the assessment of the president’s team, working with all the people involved in operations as well as people on the ground that Monday would be — was a good day for the president to visit.”

So the man who dropped everything and visited the disaster zone did it because he didn’t care; but the man who is campaigning, campaigning, campaigning and won’t be able to show up until Monday because he’s too busy campaigning hasn’t visited (but he would have! says his mouthpiece) because he cares so deeply.

Bullcrap.

Abject Vile Obama Hypocrite Alert In Celebration Of Obama’s Milestone Of 100 Rounds Of Golf (4 Full Months Of Work Time Spent Golfing!!!)

June 19, 2012

The housing market – you know, the thing that actually blew up the economy in 2008 and hasn’t ever been fixed since - is getting worse in a fearsome sign of any chance of a recovery in the housing sector. The unemployment rate is shooting back up as the economy stagnates. Europe is very probably going to implode and create a global recession because they’ve done pretty much exactly what Obama wants to do more of here. I know that you’re very concerned, but please don’t be. Your president is doing fine. He’s relaxing, he’s getting plenty of golf in and really isn’t worrying himself at all. Thank you for caring so deeply about your messiah.

Please remember that Emperor Obama is particularly attuned to your prayers of devotion when he’s on the golf course, surrounded by the nature that he loves. And he is especially attuned to you if you give generously to his campaign.

Let’s go back to David Axelrod talking about George Bush.  Yes, it was George H.W. Bush, but one Bush is as good as another and Bush was a Republican and therefore a target for future Obama cockroach David Axelrod to demonize:

Flashback: Axelrod called Bush ‘out of touch’ for playing golf in bad economy
Published: 11:15 AM 06/13/2012

Video from 1994 has surfaced of David Axelrod, President Obama’s chief campaign strategist, calling former President George H.W. Bush “out of touch” for “tastelessly” playing golf while trying to convince voters that the economy is improving.

“Bush tastelessly did it, often from the ninth hole, and from the cigar boat and other places,” Axelrod said.

Added the adviser: “The impression you got was that he was out of touch.”

Throughout his presidency, Obama has been known to hit the links nearly every week.

Axelrod explained in the 1994 interview that if “you cite these statistics that say the economy is improving, you almost do political damage to yourself.”

“If you stand up and claim great progress, you are only frustrating this alienated middle class more,” he said.

For the record, I’m guessing instead of “1994″ it was 1992, because that was the year of the election and there was no point beating an already dead-by-sheer-demonization Bush.

Let’s consider an April 2010 (i.e., more than TWO YEARS AGO) article about Obama and the golf course:

President Obama plays more than Bush
April 20, 2010 4:29 p.m. EDT

(CNN) — Barack Obama has come in at eighth in a list of golf-playing American presidents, higher than both George Bush and Ronald Reagan.

Bush was known for his love of golf, but figures released by Mark Knoller of CBS Radio, the unofficial White House statistician, have revealed that Obama has played golf 32 times during his presidency — eight times more than his predecessor did during his entire tenure at the White House.

In fact, president Obama played a round as recently as last Sunday, when his flight to Poland for the funeral of president Lech Kaczynski was cancelled due to the volcanic ash cloud over Europe.

Golf Digest magazine has ranked president Obama ahead of both Bush and Reagan, but behind Bill Clinton — who was known to practise his putting in the aisle of Air Force One.

As of April 2010 – again, that’s over two years ago – BARACK OBAMA HAD PLAYED GOLF EIGHT TIMES MORE THAN GEORGE BUSH DID DURING HIS ENTIRE EIGHT YEARS IN OFFICE.

But, of course, it gets worse.  Much, much worse.

Remember, Axelrod demonized Bush Sr. as ”out of touch” for playing a tiny infinitesimal fraction of the sheer massive volume that his current boss has played.

In honor of that, Obama has recently reached a rare milestone for an American president who presumably has far better things to do – especially while his economy is in shambles:

MILLER: Obama’s 100th golf round
President putters while economy sputters
By Emily Miller – The Washington Times
Thursday, June 14, 2012

The next time President Obama hits the links, it will be his 100th round of golf since coming to the White House. That’s quite a milestone in just 3 1/2 years. As it takes him about six hours to drive to the greens and complete 18 holes, Mr. Obama has spent the equivalent of four months’ worth of work time golfing. Meanwhile, the U.S. economy has been stuck in a sand trap.

Before Mr. Obama teed off for the first time as president, he delivered a State of the Union address that promised his new stimulus bill would “save or create 3.5 million jobs.” At that time, February 2009, unemployment was 8.3 percent and the debt was $10.8 trillion. He kicked off the golf streak on April 26, 2009, and he played a total of 27 rounds in his first year.

When he returned to the Capitol the following year, he stood in front of then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi with unemployment at 9.7 percent. He asked the Democratic Congress for a second stimulus and an overhaul of the health care system, and Congress obliged. Mr. Obama also said he would freeze government spending for three years, starting in 2011, but that idea got lost in the woods during the 31 golf games he played in 2010, using his personalized “44” Titleist balls, which remind haughty caddies he’s the 44th president.

By the time Mr. Obama gave his annual address to Congress in 2011, he was standing in front of new House Speaker John A. Boehner, brought in during the Republicans’ midterm wave. Unemployment was still at a high 9.1 percent. Mr. Obama announced, “This is our generation’s Sputnik moment” and demanded more money be spent. The debt hit $14 trillion.

Last year, the number of Mr. Obama’s golf outings rose to 33, and many turned out to be memorable. He was on the green on May 1, 2011, when the Navy SEALs were en route to Pakistan, cutting his game to nine holes to hear of their successful mission against Osama bin Laden. Mr. Obama’s golf partners included Mr. Boehner, former President Bill Clinton and Vice President Joseph R. Biden, who got asked to tag along with the boss four times in 2011.

By the time Mr. Obama gave this year’s State of the Union address, he had 93 golf games on his scorecard. Unemployment was 8.3 percent, having never gone below 8 percent in his presidency. He took no responsibility for the $15.2 trillion debt or the nation’s credit-rating downgrade. Instead, he called for higher taxes and the “Buffett rule” while hosting the billionaire’s secretary in his guest box for the speech.

Mr. Obama had no sense of the inappropriateness of playing 99 rounds of golf while 99 percent of the country couldn’t even afford the cost or time to go once. Now he wants a second term to finish what he started. After the 100th round, voters may want to think twice about giving him a mulligan.

Emily Miller is a senior editor for the Opinion pages at The Washington Times.

Barack Obama has spent four entire months of his presidency golfing.  Just so far.  Makes me pine for the days when we had Roman emperors fiddling while their city burned to the ground.  At least they didn’t spend four freaking months playing their damned fiddles.

I’ve said it so many times in my articles that it’s unreal: the quintessential ingredient of a liberal is abject moral hypocrisy.  If you are a liberal, you are a complete hypocrite without shame, or honor, or decency.  You are the kind of poisonous snake that demonizes somebody else for a tiny fraction of what you do.  You are in fact a bad person.

The same kind of person David Axelrod, senior political adviser to Barack Obama, is.

David Axelrod has always reminded me of that used car salesman who gives an already morally troubled industry an even worse name.  He’s the kind of slime who sells broken down pieces of junk to naive young kids and then relies on the cops to keep those kids’ dads from beating the crap out of him.  He’s the kind of slime who sells lies for the worst and most evil president in American history.

Let’s not forget to remember the mainstream media cockroaches otherwise known as “journalists.”  George W. Bush loved golf as much as Obama obviously does.  But the media ran stories about Bush playing golf while soldiers died screaming under his command and so George W. Bush did something that Barack Obama has never done so much as a single time in his entire life and took personal responsibility for himself and gave up golfing.

Adolf Hitler and Joseph Goebbels and Joseph Stalin and TASS would be so proud of their legacy in Barack Obama, David Axelrod and the American mainstream media.

North Carolina Public School Teacher Screams At Student That It’s A CRIME To Say Anything Critical About Obama

May 23, 2012

I’ve got an aunt (by marriage, thank God) who once got outraged during a family dinner that anybody would dare criticize the president when Bill Clinton was in office.

Then George Bush became president, and the very same woman who had angrily decried anybody who would disrespect America by criticizing the President of the United States routinely – by her very own self-righteous and wildly hypocritical standard – disrespected America throughout the eight years that George W. Bush was president.  The very same woman who would absolutely not tolerate the presidency being disrespected when a Democrat was president was incredibly disrespectful of the presidency when a Republican was president.

I think the very same thing is going on in the vile little brain of North Carolina teacher Tanya Dixon-Neely.

Hypocrisy is the quintessential defining quality of liberalism.  One cannot be a liberal without being a hypocrite.  So this kind of double-think is nothing new.

But when it is a public school teacher who is ostensibly not paid to rabidly defend Democrat presidents, it’s not just a shame and this teacher shouldn’t just be fired; it ought to be a serious federal crime and this teacher should be in jail:

NC Teacher Screams at Student: It’s Criminal to Criticize Obama
by Ben Shapiro May 20, 2012

A YouTube video uploaded on Monday afternoon apparently shows a schoolteacher from the Rowan-Salisbury school district in North Carolina informing a student that failing to be respectful of President Obama is a criminal offense. Breitbart News has uncovered that the student is a high school junior, and that the teacher is apparently one Tanya Dixon-Neely.

The video shows a classroom discussion about the Washington Post hit piece about Mitt Romney bullying a kid some five decades ago. One student says, “Didn’t Obama bully someone though?” The teacher says: “Not to my knowledge.” The student then cites the fact that Obama, in Dreams from My Father, admits to shoving a little girl. “Stop, no, because there is no comparison,” screams the teacher. Romney is “running for president. Obama is the president.”

The student responds that both are “just men.”

The teacher yells — literally yells — that Obama is “due the respect that every other president is due … Listen,” she continues, “let me tell you something, you will not disrespect the president of the United States in this classroom.” She yells over the student repeatedly, and yells at him that it’s disrespect for him to even debate about Romney and Obama.

The student says that he can say what he wants.

“Not about him, you won’t,” says the teacher.

The teacher then tells the student – wrongly – that it is a criminal offense to say bad things about a president. “Do you realize that people were arrested for saying things bad about Bush? Do you realize you are not supposed to slander the president?”

The student says that it would violate First Amendment rights to jail someone for such sentiments. “You would have to say some pretty f’d up crap about him to be arrested,” says the student. “They cannot take away your right to have your opinion … They can’t take that away unless you threaten the president.”

Clearly, the student should be teaching the class, and the teacher should be reading the Constitution more often.

The school district classified the exchange – which is obviously just another case of a pro-Obama teacher shoveling her views down students’ throats – a “learning experience.” It isn’t. It’s political intimidation, and it’s just another example of how the American public school system has become an indoctrination tool for the left. This teacher should be suspended or fired forthwith, if only for incompetence.

UPDATE: Breitbart News has received information that the YouTube video was shot by a friend of the bullied student. According to our source, the student had asked his friend to record the discussion to “prove to his parents what he has been trying to tell them for some time. The teacher in this video has a long history of pushing a liberal agenda, by shouting down students. She is very intolerant of other points of view that she does not share. The atmosphere at this school is not very conducive to opposing views.”

The source continues, “The student’s parents have since taken him out of school and had him registered at another nearby school.”

The teacher was suspended WITH PAY.  Just what does she have to do to get FIRED????

This use of the public schools as indoctrination centers for liberalism is nothing new under this fascist administration.  See this article that posts a couple of the videos that I posted in that article and adds a couple of different ones.

I listen to this shocking audio (the cell phone camera was clearly pointed at the ceiling throughout the rant) and I simply can’t help but marvel at how ignorant and biased and vulgar public school teachers are today.  I shouldn’t marvel – this crap is going on ALL THE DAMN TIME – but I simply can’t help but maintain an image in my mind how teachers should teach kids TO READ AND WRITE AND DO ARITHMATIC AND THINK.

The public schools are spectacularly failing all around us.  And it’s not like the failure is a mystery.

I serve on a board that provides support for worthy causes.  One of the organizations we support is a Christian school.  While the public schools in California are at the bottom ten percent in the nation and the public schools in Riverside County are in the bottom ten percent in California, this particular Christian school is in the top ten percentile in the nation in terms of SAT scores.

There are two things that are killing American public schools: the union agenda and the secular humanism of the left.  As long as either of these horrors are allowed to characterize education, America’s schools will get worse and worse.  And we’ll see more and more of this garbage.

The fact that this Obamabot teacher – whose name is Tanya Dixon-Neely – was not fired the day this video came out is all you need to understand why America’s children are under the curse of God damn America.

Shameless Demagogue-in-Chief Obama Actually Blames GOP For Solyndra EVEN THOUGH ALMOST 100% OF REPUBLICANS VOTED AGAINST IT

March 23, 2012

Barack Hussein Obama is the most pathologically dishonest weasel who has ever lived in or even VISITED the White House:

Good Grief: Obama Attempts To Include Republicans In Blame For Solyndra
March 22, 2012 – 2:06 pm

No, seriously, he really tries this

(Fox News) While making his push for solar, Obama explained to a reporter for National Public Radio that the blame for Solyndra was bipartisan and not the fault of the Obama Democrats “per se.”

“Congress, Democrats and Republicans, put together a loan guarantee program because they understood historically that when you get new industries, it’s easy to get money for new startups,” Obama said. “But if you want to take them to scale, often there is a lot of risk involved and what the loan guarantee program was designed to do was to help start-up companies get to scale.”

Except, as usual, Obama has his facts 100% wrong

The 2009 stimulus package that provided the funding for a loan of $527 million for Solyndra, which subsequently defaulted, got zero Republican votes in the House and three Republican votes in the Senate — Maine Sens. Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins and former Pennsylvania Sen. Arlen Specter, who switched parties two months after the vote. There was no Republican input on the structuring of the energy loan program and the specific loan to Solyndra was a Democratic job from start to finish.

Even ABC News’ Devin Dwyer calls BS on this, reiterating the above paragraph, and adding

During a May 2010 visit to Solyndra, Obama explicitly credited the Recovery Act with supporting the company’s early success.

The man is shameless.

Crossed at Right Wing News and Stop The ACLU.

It just makes you shake your head.  And then hang it in shame that this kind of lying turd is actually our president.

Democrats continue to repeat the outright and outrageous lie that the Bush administration was responsible for this fiasco.  Here are the facts on that:

The bottom line remains that the Bush Administration did not approve the Solyndra loan guarantee. And just before they headed out of town, Bush officials ordered the project back to the drawing board.

Democrats argue the Energy Department first received the loan request in December 2006. By January 2009, it was still under consideration. That month, the department’s Loan Guarantee Credit Committee put the project on hold.

In a terse one-page memo, dated Jan. 9, 2009, the committee noted that the “apparent haste in recommending the project meant that certain LGPO (Loan Guarantee Program Office) credit procedures were not adhered to.”

It further stated that: “While the project appears to have merit, there are several areas where the information presented did not thoroughly support a finding that the project is ready to be approved at this time.” It then cited four areas of concern.

First was the lack of any “independent market study addressing long-term prospects for this specific company.” An independent credit assessment had “raised the issue of obsolescence in marketing this project.” Obsolescence? That’s never a good word to hear in a product marketing study.

Second, it noted that the committee had never seen a supposed sales agreement the company had for its product even though an unnamed “outside legal advisor” had. In other words, the committee only had vague assurances that there was even a buyer for the product.

Third, it noted, “There are questions regarding the nature and the strength of parent guarantee for completion of the project.” In other words, the committee wasn’t convinced the project would even be finished.

Fourth and finally, it vaguely noted “concern” over production start “scale-up” at a second Solyndra facility.

The memo concludes by saying “the number of issues unresolved makes a recommendation for approval premature at this time” and sent the project back to the LGPO for “further development of information.”

That strikes Capital Hill as a pretty damning — not to mention prescient — analysis of the Solyndra loan proposal. The loan wasn’t ready and Bush’s Energy Department wasn’t going to approve it. If Solyndra had proved to be a success, green energy fans would today probably be claiming the Bush White House had dragged its feet and endangered the project.

At the very least it shows that the Bush administration was doing the “due diligence” that DeGette questioned.

Bush did everything but drive a stake through the Solyndra loan guarantee’s heart in January of 2009.  His administration identified not one but four compelling reasons why the loan project should NOT go ahead.  But by March of 2009 – in complete abdication of consideration of any of the concerns the Bush administration identified – that loan was moving full speed ahead by Obama and ONLY by Obama.

Iran Is On The Verge Of Having Nukes Because Of Barack Obama

March 6, 2012

Let’s go back to 2007:

THE NATION – Democrats rip Bush’s Iran policy
Presidential candidates say a new intelligence report shows that the administration has been talking too tough.
By Scott Martelle and Robin Abcarian
December 05, 2007

Democratic presidential candidates teamed up during a National Public Radio debate here Tuesday to blast the Bush administration over its policy toward Iran, arguing that a new intelligence assessment proves that the administration has needlessly ratcheted up military rhetoric.

While the candidates differed somewhat over the level of threat Iran poses in the Mideast, most of them sought to liken the administration’s approach to Iran with its buildup to the war in Iraq.

“I vehemently disagree with the president that nothing’s changed and therefore nothing in American policy has to change,” said New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton. “We do know that pressure on Iran does have an effect. I think that is an important lesson.”

Delaware Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr., chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said the new intelligence report indicated that Iran dropped its program before international pressure came into play.

“It was like watching a rerun of his statements on Iraq five years earlier,” Biden said. “Iran is not a nuclear threat to the United States of America. Iran should be dealt with directly, with the rest of the world at our side. But we’ve made it more difficult now, because who is going to trust us?”

The debate was aired without a studio audience over NPR, live from the Iowa State Historical Museum. It covered Iran, China and immigration, offering the contenders a chance to delve more deeply into subjects that often receive less detailed debate treatment.

Clinton and Biden were joined by Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards, Connecticut Sen. Christopher J. Dodd, Ohio Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich, and former Alaska Sen. Mike Gravel.

New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson missed the debate to attend the funeral of Cpl. Clem Robert Boody in Independence, Iowa. Boody was a Korean War soldier whose remains Richardson had helped retrieve from North Korea earlier this year.

The National Intelligence Assessment report on Iran, released Monday, was the focus of the first third of the two-hour debate.

The assessment concluded that Iran halted its nuclear program in 2003 largely because of international pressure — reversing a conclusion made two years ago that the nation was aggressively pursuing nuclear weapons.

The Democrats used the issue to criticize each other as well as President Bush. Yet their own prescriptions for dealing with Iran are similar — and fairly close to the administration’s approach of increasing diplomatic and economic pressure to force Tehran to suspend enriching uranium that can be used for making nuclear weapons.

The leading Democratic candidates have differed over whether to negotiate directly with Iran. In a July debate, Obama said he would be willing to meet with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, a position criticized by Clinton and others. But front-runners Clinton, Obama and Edwards have all said they would not rule out military action against Iran.

For their part, Republican candidates have said that the new intelligence estimate did not change their view of Iran as a major threat to the United States — a view also held by Bush.

In the Democrats’ debate Tuesday, the focus on foreign-policy issues gave Clinton a chance to bring up what many people believe was the high point of her eight years as first lady — her speech at the 1995 U.N. Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing. In it, she castigated China over its treatment of women, arguing that women’s rights could no longer be considered separate from human rights. The Chinese government blocked the speech from being heard within China.

As at the Black & Brown Forum here Saturday night, the debate did not provide any landscape-shifting moments. Exchanges among the candidates were polite — but also at times direct, particularly over the recent bill sponsored by Sens. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.) and Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) that unofficially declared the Iranian Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization.

Clinton was the only Democratic candidate to vote for the bill. When asked whether she thought the Revolutionary Guard were “proliferators of mass destruction,” she said “many of us believe that” and suggested that earlier comments by Obama and Edwards about Iran indicated that they did too.

Edwards and Obama responded that they believed Iran was a threat to stability in the Mideast but that the administration was moving toward an unnecessary war.

“What I believe is that this president, who, just a few weeks ago, was talking about World War III, he, the vice president, the neocons have been on a march to possible war with Iran for a long time,” Edwards said. “We know that they’ve prepared contingency plans for a military attack.”

Obama, who missed the Kyl-Lieberman vote in the Senate because he was campaigning in New Hampshire, also drew parallels to the Iraq war buildup.

Five years later, what is Obama saying as everything he believed has turned out to be wrong and Iran is closer than we can possibly know from having nuclear weapon capability?  He’s STILL saying that Republcians are talking too tough.   What is frankly amazing is that Barack Obama went from saying that he had Israel’s back one day to saying America had no “military doctrine” to lift a finger to help Israel the very next day.  He’s not willing to go to war against Iran to stop their nuclear weapons program, but he’s all too willing to launch a vicious pre-emptive nuclear strike on his Republican challengers.

And as for whatever lip service Obama is mouthing to Israel that he will support them, Obama’s own Secretary of State just got through saying:

“… a lot of things are said in political campaigns that should not bear a lot of attention. There are comments made that certainly don’t reflect the United States, don’t reflect our foreign policy, don’t reflect who we are as a people.”

Well, that’s comforting.  Particularly given the fact that Hilary Clinton has no right whatsoever to speak for anyone or anything other than Democrats and the Obama administration.

Only WAR will deter Iran from its determined history of developing nuclear weapons.  You know, the very same damn nukes that Obama and Democrats treasonously demonized Bush for seeing coming.

Barack Obama is a weakling and a coward, and the ONLY thing in the way of Iran becoming a nuclear power is Israel.  Obama has no intention of lifting a finger to help Israel; rather, he will sit back like a gutless fool and demonize Israel for the aftermath of an Iran attack that is more Obama’s fault than ANYBODY’S.  You watch: Israel will attack Iran, gas prices will soar, economies will tank and Barack Obama will demonize Israel for creating a crisis that he refused to stop.

Benjamin Netanyahu pointed out some frightening facts in his speech last night: if Iran gets the bomb, you can guarantee that it will shut down the Strait of Hormuz and drive up oil prices and that it will launch a wave of international terrorism far beyond what it has already done.  And all we’d have to do to stop them would be to sacrifice a dozen of our largest eastern cities in an atomic firestorm.

“No, no, no!  NOT God bless America!  God DAMN America!” — Jeremiah Wright, personally selected by Barack Obama to be his reverend and personal spiritual advisor for over twenty years.

More and more, Obama reminds any historically-intelligent observer of Neville Chamberlain.  The British prime minister who allowed Hitler to rise and grow too powerful for England – and who has rightly been judged to be the worst appeaser of all time – was absolutely ruthless in his cutthroat approach to dealing with his own domestic political rivals.

This is God Damn America.  And Iran gets the bomb in God damn America.

Bush Vs. Obama On Gasoline Prices In One Very Simple Picture

February 28, 2012

Update, September 11, 2012: my new article on gas prices looks at Bush’s entire presidency (average price $2.14/gal) and his first four years (average price $1.68/gal) to DOCUMENT that he was FAR BETTER at gas prices than was Obama thus far in his first four years (average price $2.99/gal).  Please read it too.

Update, September 4, 2012: Given that liberals are genuinely idiotic people, it is apparently necessary to point out that the article and the accompanying chart that I cite below was compiled in March of 2011. How long had Obama been president as of March of 2011? If you do the math, you will find that March 2011 occurred 26 months into Obama’s presidency. Which is to point out that every single liberal who has bitched about my “cherry picking data” is an astonishingly idiotic dumbass. The Heritage article that I cite below compares the first 26 months of Obama’s gas prices – which was all they had available in March 2011 – with the EXACT SAME PERIOD DURING BUSH’S PRESIDENCY. That is as apples-to-apples as you can get.

At this point in September 2012, Obama has been president for 43 months. If we compare Obama’s first 43 months in office to Bush’s first 43 months in office, you will find that Obama has still been awful in comparison.  At this same point during Bush’s first term, in September of 2004, gasoline cost $1.89 a gallon.  Versus with Obama and gas prices of $3.82 a gallon today.  There is absolutely no legitimate comparison that will make Obama look anything other than terrible.  Barack Obama is the “Under my plan, energy prices will necessarily skyrocket” president.  Barack Obama is the president who has literally said he WANTED gas prices to go up as long as the increase was gradual so he wouldn’t get blamed.  Barack Obama is the president who appointed an Energy Secretary who is literally on the record saying he wanted to see U.S. gas prices at $9-$10 a gallon.

The shocking gas prices Bush faced in 2008 were due to the fact that Democrats took over both the House and the Senate in 2006 and refused to allow ANY domestic oil production or refinery construction WHATSOEVER until Bush finally issued his executive order in frustration.  The shocking gas prices Obama has faced and will continue to face are due to the fact that Obama is a leftwing ideologue.  Which is why Obama is setting records for high gas prices and will continue to set such records if the American people are foolish enough to allow him to remain in office.

What liberal ideologues want to do – and you see them doing it in the comments – is cite the very worst gas prices for Bush that occurred during Bush’s SECOND term. If you want to consider gas prices over a long period, it is OBAMA who has set the record for high gas prices.  LIBERALS are the ones cherry picking their data to selectively compare the second Bush term with a nonexistant second Obama term. Obama hasn’t HAD a second term to compare with Bush’s second term and I hope he doesn’t get one; but if he does I predict we will be seeing $8 gas prices rather than the $4 we saw at the worst of the end of the Bush second term. As just one example, Iran is by all accounts at the threshold of attaining nuclear weapons because Obama has abjectly failed to deal with this crisis that the Democrats once blatantly mocked Bush for warning us about. That means that either we (and Israel) do nothing and Iran becomes a nuclear weaponized power and is free to shut down the Strait of Hormuz and drive up international oil prices at will with impunity, or else Israel – hopefully with the aid of the United States – will attack Iran to destroy its nuclear capability. Either way, I guarantee you we will be seeing gas prices skyrocketing during what would be an Obama second term.  That’s the first thing you should know.

The second thing you should know is that when oil prices reached their high under Bush, President Bush took a conservative path which resulted in a wild success.  I have documented this elsewhere:

You can see the impact that America drilling for its own oil has on prices – and how despicable the mainstream media can be in covering up the truth – in the following CBS piece entitled “The Immediate Benefit Of Offshore Drilling” from July 17, 2008:

After trading at a record high of $147 a barrel Friday, the price of oil saw its largest one-day drop since the 2003 beginning of the Iraq war on Tuesday, falling $6.44 a barrel. Wednesday, it fell another $3.71, to $135.03, and at one point was trading as low as $132.

So what happened? As is usually the case with markets, a variety of factors caused this dramatic drop. According to the Associated Press, the Energy Information Administration announced that U.S. crude-oil supplies rose by 3 million barrels; beleaguered banks have been selling off valuable energy contracts to pay for other debts; and there’s even some speculation that computer programs used by Wall Street may create a “cascading effect” once prices start to drop.

But bizarrely, the AP didn’t mention that on Monday – again, the day of the single biggest one-day drop in oil prices in five years – President Bush removed the executive order imposing a moratorium on offshore drilling in the United States.

To think that this dramatic and unexpected move by the Bush administration didn’t have a significant effect on oil prices is folly. Even Democrats admit that relatively small margins in oil production could have a huge impact on prices.

The price per barrel of crude oil – which was at an all-time high the day Bush signed the moratorium that ended the ban on offshore drilling after going up and up and up to that point – continued to drop and drop. By September, it was below $109 a barrel. By October it had dropped even more. And it kept dropping.

See my comment to this article here and my article here for still more documentation to this fact that Bush’s executive order that ended the offshore drilling ban directly resulted in the price of oil/gasoline plunging.

And there is also this:

The price of a barrel of oil IMMEDIATELY dropped by $9.26 AS BUSH WAS SPEAKING [when he ended the federal moratorium on offshore drilling].

In the few days that followed, the precipitous upward climb in the price of oil went down, down, DOWN:

Update: July 18, 2008 Crude Oil has dropped to $128.88 a Barrel

Update: July 17, 2008 Crude Oil has dropped to $130.73 a Barrel

Update July 15, 2008 Crude Oil has dropped to $138.74 a Barrel Biggest drop in 17 years

We had the price of oil dropping by ten bucks a day every day after Bush ended the moratorium.

You can look at the link that has the NYSE prices to keep watching the trend.

George Bush began his presidency with gasoline prices at $1.40 a gallon.  When they got over $4 a gallon in 2008, George W. Bush finally used a conservative solution to the problem – and oil prices IMMEDIATELY plunged that very day and then continued to go down.  That is simply a documented fact.  Such that when Bush left office and Obama began his presidency, the average national price of a gallon of unleaded gasoline was $1.85 a gallon.  So if you look at the entirety of Bush’s presidency, gasoline went from $1.40 a gallon to $1.85 a gallon.

Obama began his own presidency with gasoline prices at that $1.85 a gallon and they have gone up and up and up.  And the difference between Obama and Bush is that Obama will NEVER take the type of conservative solution that Bush took and frankly that Bill Clinton took and allow the domestic drilling that America needs to get control of its gas prices.  Obama has now repeatedly attempted to take credit for oil leases that were signed and granted by George W. Bush even as he himself has refused to sign such leases himself.  To sum up Obama’s failure, I need only use one word: “Keystone.”

End update.

I’m not a tease.  Here’s the picture:

It’s a truly remarkable picture - particularly given the way the media attacked Bush for his high gas price increase and then largely refused to attack Obama for his ridiculously insane gas price increase.

Heritage nails it in an article (which is where I got the above chart from):

As Americans continue to feel the effects of President Obama’s anti-oil agenda at the pump, defensive liberals are circling back to a familiar line of counter-attack: blame Bush. The media vacuum on gas prices has made this line of attack all the more promising with very little national coverage being given to the president’s destructive domestic drilling agenda. Unfortunately it misses an obvious point.

President George W. Bush was mostly attacked for wanting to drill too much (or being “cozy” with the oil industry), while President Obama’s policies are rooted in unilaterally shutting down the domestic oil industry amidst rising prices and a struggling economy.

Yes, the price of gasoline reached historic levels, rising above $4/gallon during Bush’s second term, but that wasn’t due to a lack of trying to increase domestic supply. U.S. domestic supply is but one factor in the global price of oil, and thus gas prices. But when a president purposefully chooses to decrease our domestic supply by 13%, with hopes of driving that supply even lower, and objects to U.S.-Canadian pipelines and new forms of exploration, discovery and friendly importation, the price consequences are real, and should be scrutinized.

During the first twenty-six months of President Bush’s first term in office, the price of gasoline increased by 7%. At the end of his second term, the price had decreased by 9% from the time he took office (adjusted for inflation). During the first twenty-six months of Obama’s term in office, the price of gasoline has spiked over 67% with no relief in site.

Clearly, other mitigating factors were at work between those two time periods. U.S. demand is one such factor, as is global supply disruptions, cartel pricing and the cost to refine and distribute, but the current price spikes obligate serious people to scrutinize our nation’s energy policy.

President Bush’s response to $4/gallon gasoline was to lift presidential and congressional moratoriums on expanded drilling in the Outer Continental Shelf, a move that many critics say came too late. But what about Obama?

Some on the right have criticized Obama for having no energy policy. This is wrong. Obama’s energy policy is working exactly the way it is designed. This administration knows that unless the price of fossil fuels skyrocket, expensive alternative energy sources, no matter how heavily subsidized, will continue to be unattractive to American consumers.

Obviously, this risky desire to have high gas prices is a punitive policy that foolishly ignores how Americans use petroleum. While oil is largely a transportation fuel, solar and wind can only contribute to our electricity demands. Oil accounts for less than 1% of our electricity demand.

The liberal fascination with developing expensive vehicles that run on electricity doesn’t change that: 1) Solar or wind powered vehicles don’t commercially exist; 2) The cars that do run on electricity, or even battery-powered hybrids still require gas; and 3) the high cost of the alternatively fueled vehicles makes them largely insignificant in the auto market and cost-prohibitive to the average consumer.

Sure, it would be ideal to have a national fleet of cars that are inexpensive and run on cheap and widely available alternative sources of energy. But the markets have demonstrated this reality is nowhere close to fruition. And when you try to hasten that reality by artificially jacking up the price of gas, the economic effects are felt largely by the poorest among us and disincentives business owners from hiring as their fixed operating costs increase.

Think about it, who feels the pain of an extra $1 at the gas pump? The rich guys that the left demonizes or the middle-to-low income wage earners who balance their budgets by the penny, not the dollar? If the only cars available on the market were $40,000 Chevy Volts, would a Lexus or BMW consumer be hit hard, or would the family looking for a barely affordable mode of shuttling their family be affected? Consumer Reports said Obama’s heralded Volt “is an expensive way to be green.”

This economic, energy and transportation reality—the here and now—is why President Bush called for more domestic oil exploration at the same time he called for an end to our “addiction” to oil. You cannot shut down one job-creating industry while you hope another emerges. Hope is not a smart energy strategy.

This week, the Obama administration began floating the idea that depleting the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) is a viable response to rising oil prices. The SPR is where America stores roughly 700 billion barrels of oil in case of a catastrophe. Its drawdown would have a marginally positive affect on gas prices for a very short time period. Once that supply is partially or completely eliminated, we would be back to square one. In other words, the action would be purely political and designed to politically disguise a terrible energy policy.

President Obama must stop killing energy jobs, hurting American business owners and penalizing taxpayers at the pump in order to score unrelated points with his environmental base. Obama needs to end the EPA practice of imposing regulations on refineries that increase the cost of oil production. He must stop looking to raise taxes on oil producers while heavily subsidizing other energy industries.

And Obama must at least end his de facto moratorium and get America back to the domestic supply capabilities we had just two years ago. As Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA) told Interior Secretary Ken Salazar in a hearing on oil prices this week: “In January 2009 there were 16 permits issued. The next year there were 12 and this January, only two. We’re so far off the historic level. We’ve got to get it back up as quickly as possible.”

This time, in this economy, with these transportation and energy realities is not the time for Obama to curry favor with eco-liberals by raising the cost of living for the average American family. President Bush may have wanted to increase the drilling status quo by too much in your opinion, but surely we can all agree that intentionally decreasing our domestic supply makes little sense today.

Gasoline is over $4 a gallon across the state of California; it is over $5 in Los Angeles; and in some places in Florida it is over $6 a gallon.

On June 24, 2008, Obama said in demonizing Bush:

What Washington has done is what Washington always does – it’s peddled false promises, irresponsible policy, and cheap gimmicks that might get politicians through the next election, but won’t lead America toward the next generation of renewable energy. And now we’re paying the price. Now we’ve fallen behind the rest of the world. Now we’re forced to beg Saudi Arabia for more oil. Now we’re facing gas prices over $4 a gallon – gas prices that are decimating the savings of families who are already struggling in this economy. Like the man I met in Pennsylvania who lost his job and couldn’t even afford the gas to drive around and look for a new one. That’s how badly folks are hurting. That’s how badly Washington has failed.

YOU peddled a whole whopping load of false promises, Obama you liar.  You want to tell us about “irresponsible policies” now, Mister Solyndra???

Gas prices could very well hit $6 by summer.
