When It Was 3 AM And The US Consulate In Benghazi Was Being Attacked, Where Was Barack Obama???

The al-Qaeda-linked terrorist attack on the United States Consulate in Benghazi, Libya began at 9:40 p.m. local time.  The battle that ultimately killed an American ambassador, two incredibly heroic former SEALs and one other American went on for an agonizing seven hours during which time the CIA support site nearby repeatedly begged for permission to go in and help their fellow Americans under attack and were ordered to stand down.  So it was 3 AM in Benghazi, and Obama was sound asleep and continued to sleep contentedly through the night while Americans died during an enemy attack on foreign soil.

And what did Obama do the next day (September 12)?  He climbed aboard Air Force One and took a trip to Las Vegas so he could do a fundraiser.  He really was in Las Vegas on September 12, all right.  Meanwhile his crew of Chicago thugs was already lying up one side and down the other that what happened was NOT a terrorist attack or any kind of preplanned act of war against the United States on United States soil.  Nope.  It was just a bunch of unfortunately-violence-prone Muslims going as nuts as a bunch of monkeys because they saw a video that had been made in America which proved that our First Amendment needs to be abolished.  And of course it was just out of the blue, and couldn’t be foreseen, and the fact that it happened on the VERY significant day of “9/11″ clearly didn’t have anything at all to do with anything.  All their information, they claimed, said that’s all it was and they had absolutely zero information that terrorists had anything to do with it.

It turns out that the “spontaneous protest” that top White House spokespeople in fact never occurred.  It was a lie.  It never happened.  As history now records in Benghazi, Libya at the US Consulate according to the Associated Press:

Around 8:30 p.m.

Stevens finishes his final meeting of the day and escorts a Turkish diplomat outside the main entrance of the consulate. The situation is calm. There are no protests.

Around 9:40 p.m.

Agents hear loud noises, gunfire and explosions near the front gate. A barracks at the entrance housing the local militiamen is burnt down. Agents viewing cameras see large group of armed men flowing into the compound. Alarm is sounded. Telephone calls are made to the embassy in Tripoli, officials in Washington, the Libyan authorities and a U.S. quick reaction force located at a second compound a little over a mile away.

Obama’s people lied.  There was no spontaneous protest that went bad.  There was no protest at all, in fact.  And no stupid video that they kept talking about had anything to do with anything when it came to that attack in Benghazi where the first United States Ambassador since 1979 was murdered at his post.

Obama claimed in his third debate with Mitt Romney that he was claiming that he referred to the Benghazi attack was what he described as “acts of terror” in a brief statement he gave just before jetting off to fundraise in Las Vegas.  But a couple of “buts”: first he referred to “acts of terror” immediately AFTER referencing the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.  Isn’t it kind of possible that he was referring to THAT attack?  And second when he gave his address to the United Nations on September 25 (two full weeks AFTER the attack on Benghazi), Obama clearly pooh-poohed ”terrorism” as the cause of the Benghazi attack.  He never ONCE used words like “terrorist” or “terrorism” but SIX TIMES decried the Youtube video that was filmed by an American as being responsible for the attack that tragically killed an American ambassador.  So bullcrap to Obama claiming that he says that he clearly meant that Benghazi was a terrorist attack.  He’s a lying weasel doing what lying weasels do.

Where was Obama as the former SEALs who had violated their “stand down” orders to save the lives of thirty Americans at the ultimate cost of their own?  Yeah, probably on a golf course in Las Vegas talking crony-capitalist grease-my-palm shop-talk with some rich liberal bigwigs.  Just as the collage picture above says.

When we find out that Ambassador Chris Stevens and his security team were BEGGING for increased security in a Libya that was in the process of INCREASINGLY falling to al Qaeda, the Obama administration was deciding to FURTHER REDUCE the security staff.  Why?  Because Obama wanted to sell the bogus delusion that Obama was the man who killed bin Laden (based on intelligence developed by George W. Bush), and that in killing bin Laden Obama had destroyed al Qaeda.  And in destroying al Qaeda Obama the messiah had won the war on terror.  And that meant “normalizing” relations with Libya and pulling our armed security guys out no matter that the country was falling apart and there were literally hundreds of “incidents” to prove it was falling apart.   That was the cynical political delusion that Obama was pimping.

The fact of the matter is that Obama keeps saying “no one gets left behind” when it comes to giving more people more socialism, but he was all too ready to let those Americans who perished in Libya get “left behind” as the orders from the Obama administration were to “stand down” and not help the Americans at the besieged US Consulate.

The fact of the matter is that Ambassador Chris Stevens had begged for more security from Obama.  And he got his security REDUCED in violent and chaotic Libya while his Svengali stand-in Valerie Jarrett got to enjoy the status of being the first political advisor EVER to get a full Secret Service detail when she was on vacation at Martha’s Vineyard.

The fact of the matter is that the intelligence and security professionals were warning Obama for MONTHS that sovereign US territory in Libya was under threat and that the United States Ambassador’s life was at risk.  AND OBAMA DID NOTHING that wasn’t incredibly stupid and even more incredibly wrong-headed during those months.

The fact of the matter is that we further learn that in fact Obama had THREE FULL WEEKS OF WARNING that the very attack by the very terrorists who killed Ambassador Chris Stevens was going to happen.  AND HE DID NOTHING.

The fact of the matter is that Obama has attempted a cover-up that is FAR worse than anything Nixon did during Watergate.

And the fact of the matter is that this will be God damn America until Obama is exorcised out of the American people’s White House.

General Services Administration head Martha Johnson has resigned along with two of her deputies, reportedly over an impending inspector general’s report detailing lavish spending on a Vegas conference for a handful of government employees.

Organizers spent $835,000 on the event, which was attended by 300 employees. The expenses included $147,000 in airfare and lodging at the hotel for six planning trips by a team of organizers. Among the other expenses were $3,200 for a mind reader; $6,300 on commemorative coin set displayed in velvet boxes and $75,000 on a training exercise to build a bicycle.

“When the White House was informed of the Inspector General’s findings we acted quickly to determine who was responsible for such a gross misuse of taxpayer dollars,” White House Chief of State Jack Lew said in a statement to The Washington Post. President Obama “was outraged by the excessive spending, questionable dealings with contractors, and disregard for taxpayer dollars,” Lew said, “and called for all those responsible to be held fully accountable.”

The GSA is basically the federal government’s office managers, providing things like office space, desks, and cars to other agencies. One of its charges is to develop cost-saving administrative strategies. . . .

Obama demonized Las Vegas trips.  But of course that was just deceitful demagogic rhetoric for public consumption.

On the “we-told-you-so” side of this story, Republicans tried to block Martha Johnson’s appointment:

On February 3, 2010, Obama, in an unusual move for a sitting president, sharply criticized Bond and Republican senators for blocking Johnson’s nomination, and complained that Republicans were blocking nominees for reasons that have nothing to do with their qualifications for their prospective jobs. While at a retreat for Democratic senators, Obama made the comments in response to a question from Sen. Patrick Leahy about his judicial nominations. Obama expanded his answer to include not just blocked judicial nominations but also executive nominations as well:

Nobody can tell me that there’s anything particularly wrong with her. They’re blocking her because of some unrelated matter. Don’t hold this — this woman hostage. If you have an objection about my health-care policies, then let’s debate the health-care policies. But don’t suddenly end up having a GSA administrator who is stuck in limbo somewhere because you don’t like something else that we’re doing.

This was almost as crazy as the fact that the federal limousine  fleet had grown by 73% under Obama from when Bush was president in only two years.

Kind of explains why Obama’s budget deficits are averaging well over a trillion dollars a year, doesn’t it???

Have you heard about the United States government (in the avatar of the incredibly inefficient Post Office) printing THREE BILLION STAMPS featuring the wrong Statue of Liberty (i.e., the one in Las Vegas rather than the one in New York Harbor)?

Mark Steyn did.  And he considers that blatantly ridiculous fact along with the far more sobering one that Barack Obama, Timothy Geithner and the rest of the fools running America are borrowing $188 million every single hour, as representative examples of a form of liberal American madness that I would describe as the “Dodo Bird Syndrome.”

Vegas is no longer the world’s biggest gambling resort; America is.

I always enjoy the bit in Planet of the Apes where a loinclothed Charlton Heston falls to his knees as he comes face to face with a shattered Statue of Liberty poking out of the sand and realizes that the eponymous simian planet is, in fact, his own — or was. Also the bit in Independence Day where Lady Liberty gets zapped by space aliens. And in Cloverfield when she’s decapitated by a giant monster. And in The Day After Tomorrow when she’s flash-frozen after polar-ice-cap melting brought on by a speech from Dick Cheney. I’ve been enjoying such moments since, oh, the short story “The Next Morning” in the 1887 edition of Life, illustrated with a pen-and-ink drawing of a headless statue with the smoldering rubble of the city behind her. The poor old girl was barely off the boat from France, and she’d already been pegged as the perfect visual shorthand for societal collapse.

But the United States Postal Service has now gone the Hollywood apocalyptics one better and produced a somewhat subtler image of civilizational ruin. The other day the post office apologized for its new stamp honoring Lady Liberty. Due to an unfortunate error, the stamp shows not the 19th-century Statue of Liberty that stands in New York Harbor but the 1990s replica that stands at the New York–New York Casino in Las Vegas.

An ersatz statue of pseudo-liberty standing guard over the world’s biggest gambling operation: What better way to round out a week in which the Republicans pretended to pass the most historically historic budget cut in history while the president pretended to come up with a plan to address the debt? All while pretending to wage a war in Libya whose most likely outcome seems to be that the only Arab dictator to sleep soundly in his bed at night during these turbulent times will be doing so under cover of a NATO no-fly zone for the rest of his 75-year term of office. In such a world, the USPS, bless ’em, has come up with a far more plausible emblem of societal devastation than Hollywood’s space monsters and climate-change fairies.

After the revelations that the $38.5 billion 2011 budget cut will in reality either cut a mere $352 million from the 2011 budget or, in fact, increase it by $3 billion, it might be easier just to build a replica White House, Capitol, and Congressional Budget Office at the new Beltway Casino next to Caesar’s Palace. Vegas is no longer the world’s biggest gambling resort; America is. Barack Obama says we need to “win the future,” and one more roll of the dice should do it: a trillion dollars of chips on the stimulus came up empty but let’s pile another couple trillion on Obamacare, and “high-speed rail,” and “green jobs,” and “broadband access” . . . And all the while Wayne Newton is singing “Danke Schoen” in Chinese. But don’t worry, we’re not just throwing our money away. We’re playing to a system! The president calls it “investing in the future.”

How do you “invest in the future”? By borrowing $188 million every hour. That’s what the government of the United States is doing. It’s spending one-fifth of a billion dollars it doesn’t have every hour of every day of every week — all for your future!

Most of the “futures” we’ve “invested” in are already at record levels of spending. Obama and his speechwriters are among the laziest men in the republic, so they cite the same dreary examples every time. In all three of his State of the Union addresses, he’s brought up the highway system, and he did so again in Chicago at the end of the week. If the Republicans get their way, he said, “We can’t invest in roads and bridges and broadband and high-speed rail. I mean, we would be a nation of potholes.”

That’s the choice, is it? Multi-trillion-dollar government “investment” or a nation of potholes? America “invests” a lot in roads. It has more highway signs than almost any other country: not just mile markers but fifth-of-a-mile markers; not just “Stop” signs, but four-way “Stop” signs, and “Stop Sign Ahead” signs, and one day soon “Stop Sign Ahead Sign Ahead” signs. America also has the worst automobile fatality rate in the developed world, in part because there’s so much fascinating reading material on the shoulder. Our automobile fatality rate is three times that of the Netherlands, about the same as Albania’s, down at 62 in the global rankings, just ahead of Tajikistan and Papua New Guinea. But don’t worry, if we ever do become “a nation of potholes,” you can bet there’ll be federally mandated “Pothole Ahead” signs in front of each one.

Anything else? “Our airports,” continued the president, “would be worse than places that we used to call the Third World, but who are now investing in infrastructure.” Maybe he should get out of the motorcade once in a while and swing by LAX or LaGuardia: They’re already decrepit cheerless dumps, mainly because they’ve been lavishly governmentalized into bureaucratic holding pens through which the citizenry dutifully shuffle while armies of crack TSA operatives poke around in the panties of six-year-old girls.

Oh, and let’s not forget “education.” “We should invest in education,” says the president. But we have done, spectacularly. We spend more per pupil on “education” than any other developed nation except Switzerland, and our math scores barely make the global Top 40, scraping in at big hit sound No. 35 between Azerbaijan and Croatia, the former of which was a Commie dictatorship until 20 years ago while the latter was reduced to rubble in the Yugoslav civil war. Maybe, when it comes to “investing in the future,” civil war gives you more bang for the buck.

Government is not alone in “investing” in “the future.” The New York Times reported last week that in 2010, for the first time, student-loan debt topped credit-card debt. This year, college debt is projected to be over a trillion dollars — a spectacular increase in just the last decade. America is now dumping two-thirds of Canada’s or India’s GDP not into overall debt but into one small niche market of debt. Yet, in a nation with a trillion dollars of student debt, 40 percent of Americans work in minimal-skill service jobs about to be rendered obsolete by technology, while our elites dream of following Michelle Obama into leisurely gigs as $350,000-a-year diversity-outreach consultants.

Question: How much do you have to invest in the future before you’ve spent it and no longer have one?

That the president’s rote recitation of tired catchphrases can still be taken seriously is a bleak glimpse into the scale of this nation’s structural problems. But hey, relax! Maybe we can win the future by investing in highway signs for the crowd-facing side of his prompter: “Warning: Lame Cobwebbed Brain-Dead Sloganizing Ahead.”

We are in trouble.  Standard & Poor’s just listened to Barack Obama’s toxic speech and decided that America’s future was decidedly “negative.”

We’re spending ourselves into Dodo-bird extinction.  And that extinction is going to happen very, very soon.  And the president of the United States has made it his campaign strategy to demonize anyone who tries to solve our massive problem.

Las Vegas Mayor Blasts Obama’s Demagoguery

The mayor of Las Vegas apparently doesn’t want to join George Bush, the Republican Party, auto manufacturers, Chrysler investors, banks, brokerage houses, insurance companies, the pharmaceutical industry, the US Chamber of Commerce, lobbyists, the CIA, the US Supreme Court, etc. etc. etc. as straw men for his incessant demagoguery.

There was some excellent bipartisan Obama bashing for his demagoguery this time:

His statement Tuesday drew sharp criticism from Nevada lawmakers. “The President needs to lay off Las Vegas and stop making it the poster child for where people shouldn’t be spending their money,” said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, a Democrat. “Las Vegas is suffering through one of the highest unemployment rates in the country, and we cannot afford for the President to bring us down any further,” added Republican Senator John Ensign. “Nevada has one of the most distressed economies in the country, and the President has done little to focus on job creation over the past year.  Discouraging people from coming to our state to make a political point adds insult to injury,” said Republican Congressman Dean Heller.

Here’s what Mayor Goodman had to say:

Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman had some harsh words for President Obama Tuesday. Here’s what he had to say hours after the President remarked that people who are trying to save money shouldn’t go to Vegas.

“I guess you’ve all seen the president’s remarks or read about the president’s remarks, well I’ve got some remarks of my own. I was back in Washington, D.C. about two weeks ago, going up and down the halls of the capitol telling people about our economy here, trying to get them to be sympathetic to what we’re trying to accomplish, then I have to read what President Obama said.

“He has a real psychological hang up about the entertainment capitol of the world. An apology won’t be acceptable this time, I don’t know where his vendetta comes from but we’re not going to let him make his bones by lambasting Las Vegas, that’s why (the press) is here today.

“He didn’t learn his lesson the first time, but when he hurt our economy by his ill conceived rhetoric, we didn’t think it would happen again, but now that it has I want to assure you, when he comes I’ll do everything I can to give him the boot back to Washington and to visit his failures back there.

“I gotta tell you this, everybody says I shouldn’t say it, but I gotta tell you the way it is. This president is a real slow learner.”

The Mayor then took comments from reporters.

I actually have a suggestion for how Barry Hussein can resolve this: he can go to Las Vegas and bow down before Goodman like he just did to the mayor – yes, that’s right, the MAYOR – of Tampa, Florida:

Obama doesn’t seem to mind bowing down before his betters.  That’s three (or is it four by now?) down, and about 6,692,030,27 to go.

An apology for repeatedly trying to screw Las Vegas might not be acceptable, but an act of weak, appeasing presidential grovelling might do.

No harm in trying, Barry.

Way to go for standing up for your city, Mayor Goodman.  Your other response would have been to apologize for Las Vegas the way Obama has repeatedly apologized for America.

Obama’s $Half Billion In Small Donations Masking SERIOUS FRAUD.

Barack Obama is representing himself as a man of the people.  Why, he even has hundreds millions of dollars coming from millions of donors to prove it.  In fact, his breaking of his promise to accept public funding has been excused because – since so many of his donations are coming in small amounts from so many donors, his campaign transcends the morality of or need for public financing.

But what do you say when you find out that an unknown “Will Good” from Austin Texas (his employer is listed as “Loving” and his profession as “You”) gave 1,000 times? What do you say when you find out that a “Pro, Doodad” from Nando, New York gave 786 times?  And what do you say when you find out that these documented cases of obvious fraud were NOT discovered by the FEC, but by Newsmax in a random screening of a portion of Obama’s donations?

You say that Obama’s claims are a giant load of pig poop, is what you say.

Obama is refusing to provide the names of the doners for most of the nearly half a billion dollars ($429.6 million) he has raised.  John McCain provides all the names of all his doners.

We are also now learning of the tenth state in which ACORN – just ONE liberal voter registration organization working on behalf of Democrats – has been nailed for perpetrating voter fraud.  And this the same organization that Obama himself once served as a “community organizer.”

Barack Obama claims that he is a Democrat.  But the reality is he is the quintessential ANTI-Democrat.  He’s playing the worst kind of anti-democratic games directed against the very heart of our democratic process.

This is a guy who registered 125,000 voters for ACORN.  But the moment it suited him, he destroyed the candidacy of a woman who would have destroyed him in a fair election had she been allowed to run against him.  He got her – and every other candidate in the race – thrown off the ballot by purging voters.  He doesn’t want more voters; he doesn’t even want more Democrat voters; he only wants people who will vote for him, whether legally or otherwise.

But it gets even worse.  How does money pouring into Obama coffers from Islamic extremists and even terrorists strike you?  As Newsmax reports:

The FEC has compiled a separate database of potentially questionable overseas donations that contains more than 11,500 contributions totaling $33.8 million. More than 520 listed their “state” as “IR,” often an abbreviation for Iran. Another 63 listed it as “UK,” the United Kingdom.

More than 1,400 of the overseas entries clearly were U.S. diplomats or military personnel, who gave an APO address overseas. Their total contributions came to just $201,680. But others came from places as far afield as Abu Dhabi, Addis Ababa, Beijing, Fallujah, Florence, Italy, and a wide selection of towns and cities in France.

A lot of Democrats will scream, “We’re just doing what Republicans did in Florida when Bush stole the election from Al Gore.”  That is such a giant lie that only a giant fool would still believe it.  In reality, a Democrat-designed ballot in a Democrat county relied upon a terrible ballot design that had actually cost Republican presidential hopeful Bob Dole 3 1/2 times as many votes in 1996.  It is tantamount to arguing that Monica Lewinsky was a secret Republican operative out to get Bill Clinton.

We are seeing the most massive and most systematic effort in America history to steal an election by any means necessary.  It’s time we woke up and realized it.

Barack Obama’s ACORN Registers Dallas Cowboys To Vote In Nevada

Barack Obama is a radical.  He came from a radical background.  He had a radical – in fact a communist – childhood mentor (Frank Marshall Davis).  He had radical adult mentors (Saul Alinsky, Jeremiah Wright, Michael Pfleger).  He decided to spend 23 years in a radical “black liberation theology” (a synonym for race-based Marxism), black separatist, and anti-American church.

And he went to work for radical organization ACORN, which has been nailed to the wall for voter fraud in ten states so far in this campaign alone.  And these are battleground states in which history has proven that just a few votes could turn the election one way or another.

Barack Obama has learned to camouflage his radicalism behind deceptive rhetoric and glossy, meaningless slogans.  But ACORN – indicted for voter fraud in state after state, with their offices just raided by the FBI in Las Vegas – is still the same blatantly radical group it was when Barack Obama represented it.

The Associated Press story detailing the FBI raid today begins:

LAS VEGAS – Nevada authorities seized records Tuesday from a group they accused of submitting fraudulent voter-registration forms — including for the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys.

“Tony Romo is not registered to vote in the state of Nevada, and anybody trying to pose as Terrell Owens won’t be able to cast a ballot on Nov. 4,” said Secretary of State Ross Miller, referring to star players on the pro football team.

State authorities raided the headquarters of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, a group that works to register low-income people.

ACORN organizations have registered at least 90,000 voters in Nevada.  And thousands are now known to be fraudulent.

A woman named Monica Ray was registered at least ten times.  A twelve year old was registered.

ACORN is trying to represent itself as the victim, like a store that is suffering the effects shoplifting.  But they’re AREN’T the victim.  They are the perpetrators.  ACORN is more like a mafia don who is trying to claim that he is helpless to control the crimes of all his gangsters.

Think of it this way: ACORN is doing for the Obama campaign with registration what the Obama campaign is doing itself with its fundraising.  You think “Monica Ray” being registered to vote ten times is bad?  How about the fact that the Obama campaign has accepted under-the-$200-limit donations at least 1,000 times from “Good Will“?  Or a “Pro, Doodad” who gave in 786 sepearate donations?  Obama isn’t disclosing his under-the-limit donations, like the McCain campaign is doing.  He is out touting the fact that his massive donations are coming from small doners; the REAL story is that large sums of illegal campaign contributions are being fraudulently broken down into small amounts to stay under the radar.

These people aren’t victims.   They are perps.

This is Barack Obama’s organization, engaged in a systematic effort to undermine the American Democratic process.  It is part in parcel of the infamous Chicago politics, in which dead people get to vote, and often more than once.
