Ron Bloom: Yet Another Obama Handpicked Official A Communist Who Agrees With Mao

During the 2008 Presidential campaign Barack Obama told audiences, “Judge me by the people with whom I surround myself.”  Okay, Barry Hussein.  Sounds good to me:

  • No, no, no!  Not God bless America!  God damn America!” –- Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama’s pastor and spiritual mentor for 23 years.
  • “And then the third lesson and tip actually come from two of my favorite political philosophers, Mao Tse-Tung and Mother Teresa — not often coupled with each together, but the two people that I turn to most…” — Anita Dunn, Obama’s White House Communications Director.
  • [Van] Jones had planned to move to Washington, DC, and had already landed a job and an apartment there. But in jail, he said, “I met all these young radical people of color — I mean really radical, communists and anarchists. And it was, like, ‘This is what I need to be a part of.’” Although he already had a plane ticket, he decided to stay in San Francisco. “I spent the next ten years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary.” In the months that followed, he let go of any lingering thoughts that he might fit in with the status quo. “I was a rowdy nationalist on April 28th, and then the verdicts came down on April 29th,” he said. “By August, I was a communist.”Van Jones, former Obama Green Jobs Czar.
  • In Venezuela, with Chavez, is really an incredible revolution – a democratic revolution.  To begin to put in place things that are going to have an impact on the people of Venezuela….The property owners and the folks who then controlled the media in Venezuela rebelled – worked, frankly, with folks here in the U.S. government – worked to oust him. But he came back with another revolution, and then Chavez began to take very seriously the media in his country.” — Mark Lloyd, Obama’s FCC Diversity Czar.
  • “Indeed, it has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution if the population crisis became sufficiently severe to endanger the society…. It would even be possible to require pregnant single women to marry or have abortions, perhaps as an alternative to placement for adoption, depending on the society.” — John Holdren, Obama’s Science Czar
  • And by the way, we’re going to have to, if you’re very old, we’re not going to give you all that technology and all those drugs for the last couple of years of your life to keep you maybe going for another couple of months. It’s too expensive…so we’re going to let you die.”Robert Reich, Obama economic adviser.
  • “When implemented, the Complete Lives system produces a priority curve on which individuals aged between roughly 15 and 40 years get the most substantial chance, whereas the youngest and oldest people get chances that are attenuatedThe Complete Lives system justifies preference to younger people because of priority to the worst-off rather than instrumental value.” –- Ezekiel Emanuel, Obama’s handpicked health policy adviser at the Office of Management and Budget, and appointed by Obama to serve on the Federal Council on Comparative Effectiveness Research
  • “I urge that the government should indeed focus on life-years rather than lives. A program that saves young people produces more welfare than one that saves old people.” – Cass Sunstein, Obama’s Regulatory Czar.
  • “I said, ‘What were you doing in Boston on a school night, Brewster?’  He got very quiet, and he finally looked at me and said, ‘Well I met someone in the bus station bathroom and I went home with him.’  High school sophomore, 15 years old.  I looked at Brewster and said, ‘You know, I hope you knew to use a condom.’”  [Audio is available here via Youtube, and the professor’s website contains a transcript of Jenning’s account with Brewster]. — Kevin Jennings, School Safety Czar.

So that’s who Barack Obama has surrounded himself with.  So by logical extension Barack Obama is nothing if not a Marxist death panelist radical whackjob.  And we can quote him to substantiate that:

No worries.  No brain, no pain.

Well, now we’ve got another self-identified communist in the person of Obama’s  Manufacturing Czar, and formerly Obama’s Car Czar.

Ron Bloom, Obama administration manufacturing czar, speaking at the 6th Annual Distressed Investing Forum at the Union League Club in New York – Feb. 27-28, 2009:

Generally speaking we get the joke. We know that the free market is nonsense. We know that the whole point is to game the system, to beat the market, or at least find someone who will pay you a lot of money cause their convinced that there is a free lunch. We know this is largely about power, that its an adults only no limit game. We kinda agree with Mao that political power comes largely from the barrel of a gun. And we get it that if you want a friend you should get a dog.”

The Business Insider puts this communist’s role in the Obama administration thus: “His task will be to oversee the rebirth of American manufacturing.”  Who better for such a job than a guy who believes the capitalist system that made this country great is nonsense?

Now we know what Obama meant when he said, “We are five days from fundamentally transforming the United States of America” on November 1, 2008.

I hope that you understood that Marxism was the “change you can believe in.”

Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and the rest of the uberliberal class of Democrats shrilly cry that “Roadblock Republicans Stand In the Way of Further Change!” On their view there is only one way – there way – and anyone who gets in their way is a roadblock in the path of their revolution and must be swept aside by any means necessary.

Someone else thought that, too:

  • “Communism is for us not a state of affairs which is to be established, an ideal to which reality [will] have to adjust itself.  We call communism the real movement which abolishes the present state of things.  The conditions of this movement result from the premises now in existence.”
    Karl Marx
  • In October 1917, we parted with the old world, rejecting it once and for all. We are moving toward a new world, a world of Communism.  We shall never turn off that road.”
    Mikhail Gorbachev
  • Beginning in 1917, communists swept all opposition aside in the name of “change,” and more than 100 million human beings brutally paid for that change with their lives during peacetime.  Mao boasted that he was willing to sacrifice 300 million of his people in order to preserve his power and his “revolution” (which of course is another word for “change”).

Aside from the fact that Democrats’ claims that Republicans have not offered any solutions, but only stand in the way to prevent “change” are completely false and dishonest, please have the common sense to recognize that a lot of the “change” in the world has been anything but good.

    1. Jennie Maroney Says:

The word that quickly comes to mind is impeachment.

Must our country be destroyed completely before Americans catch on that the most extreme radical in the Obama administration is Barack Obama; that all his radical friends in his administration are the ones who will help him bring about the the destruction of this country that I love dearly.

Are we asleep? Will we wake up only to find that America no longer exists?

    2. Michael Eden Says:

The apathy of the people of this nation is startling and sickening, Jennie. Our ancestors gave us an incredible system, and bequeathed us an incredible land with abundant resources. And they pointed us to the God and the religious world view that would have enabled us to remain a virtuous, noble, honest, and successful people had we but followed in the path laid out for us.

But we stagger around like blind and drunk fools. And we squander our incredible national inheritance.

I believe Obama is working to advance the Cloward-Piven strategy to bring this country to its knees and rely on the fear, hunger and helplessness of the American people to usher in their socialist “utopia.”

Here’s a pull from a good article on the subject:

In their 1966 article, Cloward and Piven charged that the ruling classes used welfare to weaken the poor; that by providing a social safety net, the rich doused the fires of rebellion. Poor people can advance only when “the rest of society is afraid of them,” Cloward told The New York Times on September 27, 1970. Rather than placating the poor with government hand-outs, wrote Cloward and Piven, activists should work to sabotage and destroy the welfare system; the collapse of the welfare state would ignite a political and financial crisis that would rock the nation; poor people would rise in revolt; only then would “the rest of society” accept their demands.

The key to sparking this rebellion would be to expose the inadequacy of the welfare state. Cloward-Piven’s early promoters cited radical organizer Saul Alinsky as their inspiration. “Make the enemy live up to their (sic) own book of rules,” Alinsky wrote in his 1972 book Rules for Radicals. When pressed to honor every word of every law and statute, every Judaeo-Christian moral tenet, and every implicit promise of the liberal social contract, human agencies inevitably fall short. The system’s failure to “live up” to its rule book can then be used to discredit it altogether, and to replace the capitalist “rule book” with a socialist one.

The authors noted that the number of Americans subsisting on welfare — about 8 million, at the time — probably represented less than half the number who were technically eligible for full benefits. They proposed a “massive drive to recruit the poor onto the welfare rolls.” Cloward and Piven calculated that persuading even a fraction of potential welfare recipients to demand their entitlements would bankrupt the system. The result, they predicted, would be “a profound financial and political crisis” that would unleash “powerful forces … for major economic reform at the national level.”

Their article called for “cadres of aggressive organizers” to use “demonstrations to create a climate of militancy.” Intimidated by threats of black violence, politicians would appeal to the federal government for help. Carefully orchestrated media campaigns, carried out by friendly, leftwing journalists, would float the idea of “a federal program of income redistribution,” in the form of a guaranteed living income for all — working and non-working people alike. Local officials would clutch at this idea like drowning men to a lifeline. They would apply pressure on Washington to implement it. With every major city erupting into chaos, Washington would have to act.

This was an example of what are commonly called Trojan Horse movements — mass movements whose outward purpose seems to be providing material help to the downtrodden, but whose real objective is to draft poor people into service as revolutionary foot soldiers; to mobilize poor people en masse to overwhelm government agencies with a flood of demands beyond the capacity of those agencies to meet. The flood of demands was calculated to break the budget, jam the bureaucratic gears into gridlock, and bring the system crashing down. Fear, turmoil, violence and economic collapse would accompany such a breakdown — providing perfect conditions for fostering radical change. That was the theory.

If we don’t stand up and fight for America now, it will soon be too late.

    3. JD Rockefeller Says:

1: “Our ancestors gave us an incredible system, and bequeathed us an incredible land with abundant resources. And they pointed us to the God and the religious world view that would have enabled us to remain a virtuous, noble, honest, and successful people had we but followed in the path laid out for us.” = DOMINIONISM. Madison is Spinning in his Grave.

    4. JD Rockefeller Says:

ALSO .. I’m generically OK with fighting against “Redistribution of Wealth” … except it seems the “Redistribution of Wealth” UP is acceptable. Look no further than how compensation in the form of Stock Options is taxed … or more accurately, look no further than how compensation in the form of Stock Options is NOT taxed.

    5. JD Rockefeller Says:

      From the Anti-liberal Site :

“The Cloward-Piven strategy – first proposed in 1966 – seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.”

I do hope all the Anti-liberals give up their Social Security and Medicare Payments .. it’s the right thing to do.

    6. Michael Eden Says:

“While we assert for ourselves a freedom to embrace, to profess, and to observe, the Religion which we believe to be of divine origin, we cannot deny an equal freedom to them whose minds have not yielded to the evidence which has convinced us.” — James Madison, James Madison, A Memorial and Remonstrance (Massachusetts: Isaiah Thomas, 1786).

“Waiving the rights of conscience, not included in the surrender implied by the social state, & more or less invaded by all Religious establishments, the simple question to be decided, is whether a support of the best & purest religion, the Christian religion itself ought not, so far at least as pecuniary means are involved, to be provided for by the Government, rather than be left to the voluntary provisions of those who profess it.” — James Madison, Religion and Politics in the Early Republic: Jasper Adams and the Church-State Debate, Daniel L. Dreisbach, ed. (Kentucky: University Press of Kentucky, 1996), p. 117.

“We have been assured, Sir, in the Sacred Writings that except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it. I firmly believe this; and I also believe that without His concurring aid, we shall succeed in this political building no better that the builders of Babel.” — Benjamin Franklin, appeal for prayer at Constitutional Convention, as cited by James Madison, The Papers of James Madison, Henry D. Gilpin, ed. (Washington: Langtree & O’Sullivan, 1840), Vol. II, p. 985.

Let me add in George Washington:

What are the foundations of America? After 45 years of selfless public service, George Washington gave his farewell address. He said, ‘We need to remember what brought us here. We need to remember what made us different from all the other nations across Europe and the rest of the world. We have to remember what our foundations are.’ It was the roadmap, showing the new nation how we’d become what we were, and exactly how to preserve it. It is considered the most important address ever given by any US president. President Lincoln set aside an entire day for the entire Union Army and had them read and understand it. Woodrow Wilson did the same during WWI. But we haven’t studied it in schools for over 45 years. Washington said,

“Of all the habits and dispositions which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports.” — George Washington, Farewell Address

If you want your want your politics to prosper, the two things you will not separate will be religion and morality. If you want your government to work well, if you want American exceptionalism, if you want the government to do right, if you want all this, then you won’t separate religion and morality from political life. And America’s greatest patriot gave a litmus test for patriotism. He said as much in the very next sentence (from the quote above), and then he clod that view in iron:

“In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars.” — George Washington

Washington literally says that anyone who would try to remove religion and morality from public life, I won’t allow them to call themselves patriots. Because they are trying to destroy the country.

The only reason that our founding fathers are spinning in their graves is because secular humanist liberals have undermined – and just plain ignored in favor of “penumbras and emanations” – virtually everything they believed, and everything they wrote in the Constitution.

See here just one collection of quotes from our founding fathers attesting to the truth of my comment that is under attack.

    7. Michael Eden Says:

Joseph Stalin was generically okay with fighting against “Redistribution of Wealth” too. Liberals have a nice little racket going, your Stalins and your Maos and your Castros and your Hugo Chavezes and your Obamas who live lives of luxury while “the people” are called upon to sacrifice.

As much as liberals like to play Marxist class warfare games with their various demagoguing iterations of “the proletariat vs. the bourgeoisie,” they invariably play the same games. No one, for instance, was more deeply in the pockets of Wall Street big boys than Barack Hussein.

It’s the middle class and the small businesses that get hosed by liberals, time after time.

    8. Michael Eden Says:

That’s awfully nice of you, JD. FORCE people to pay for something for decades by literally taking their money out of their paychecks, and then demand they not take any of the benefits that they have already payed for whether they wanted to or not.

I guess your one of the clowns who fall for the “opt out” talk of Democrats saying states don’t have to participate in the public option. Why WOULD anyone opt out, given that they will be forced to pay for it anyway?

Or are you out there with all your liberal friends, demanding that there be TWO federal income tax levels – one for the residents of the states who “opt in” and another, lower one for the residents of the states who “opt out”?????????

Nope. No freaking way that Democrats would ever allow those who don’t want their big government to REALLY “opt out” of it, and not have to pay the burden for it and in turn place that burden on the backs of their children. No way that will ever happen.

The craziest thing of all is that, even as Medicare is on the verge of bankruptcy, with Social Security not far behind it, and with a whopping $100 TRILLION PLUS in unfunded liabilities, you people STILL can’t acknowledge these programs were time bomb disasters, just like your attempted socialist takeover of health care would be.

    9. Brian Says:

I’m sick over the current happenings in Washington. Health Care reform or revolution, or whatever you want to call it. People are so deluded that this will actually solve any problems.

The only thing this will solve is the personal debt issues. With our money supply being killed, our debt will be worthless and hence wiped out. Of course so will our savings and our economy.

I can’t wait for the feds to show up at my door telling me it’s time for a checkup at the doctors office.
