Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen says that Barrack Hussein is the greatest threat to our national security without naming any names.
Pentagon leaders, the military services and defense contractors must work together to cut bureaucratic bloat and unnecessary programs, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said Thursday.
Adm. Mike Mullen also renewed his warning that the nation’s debt is the biggest threat to U.S. national security.
“I was shown the figures the other day by the comptroller of the Pentagon that said that the interest on our debt is $571 billion in 2012,” Mullen said at a breakfast hosted by The Hill. “That is, noticeably, about the size of the defense budget. It is not sustainable.”

Consider that from Jan. 20, 2001, to Jan. 20, 2009, the debt held by the public grew $3 trillion under Mr. Bush—to $6.3 trillion from $3.3 trillion at a time when the national economy grew as well.
By comparison, from the day Mr. Obama took office last year to the end of the current fiscal year, according to the Office of Management and Budget, the debt held by the public will grow by $3.3 trillion. In 20 months, Mr. Obama will add as much debt as Mr. Bush ran up in eight years.
Mr. Obama’s spending plan approved by Congress last February calls for doubling the national debt in five years and nearly tripling it in 10.
It’s not a distant crisis. It is a crisis right now. Today.

The national debt will reach 62 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) by the end of this year, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) said Wednesday.
The budget office said the debt will reach its highest percentage of GDP since the end of World War II. The jump is driven by lower tax revenues and higher federal spending in the recent recession.
But that’s nothing. Wait until you see the trick Obama has planned for us in 2012.

The CHART OF THE DAY tracks U.S. gross domestic product and the government’s total debt, which rose past $13 trillion for the first time this month. The amount owed will surpass GDP in 2012, based on forecasts by the International Monetary Fund.
Wait for it. Wait for it. How much was debt-to-GDP under Dubya in 2008? 39.7%. Bad, yes. Unless you compare it to what Obama has done. Bush raised it by about five percentage points during his eight-year term from where Bill Clinton – who was blessed with a Republican Congress – had left it (at about 35%). And what has Obama done? Obama will increase it by an insane 55% over what Bush left in just two years!!! And that increase is shooting straight up like a rocket ship.
Some ignoramuses (i.e., liberals) will see the statement that our debt level was even higher just immediately after World War II, and foolishly conclude that we beat it before, so we can beat the crisis again. If that has even once occurred to you, please read this article. A lot of things are different since the end of WWII, including the way we calculated our debt, and the fact that we actually saved money and manufactured things back in those days.
We are so screwed.

He just killed himself by telling the truth. Our military believe in defending our country. Our current leadership tell soldiers when they can shoot, when they can smoke, and when they can have gay pride parades. Our enemies see an opportunity for conquest without reprisals, and invasion without response of nuclear deterrents. Chinese military planners must like that idea that their millions can march without so much as a nucear missile to plow down their massive numbers. The November elections can’t come soon enough, and we need a war time secretary of state instead of political hack Hillary.

We’ve got political hacks for our commander-in-chief and our CIA director, so what’s in a political hack for a Secretary of State?
Told when they can shoot. Yeah. Amazingly enough, they’re literally unable to shoot when every element of common sense and the entire history of warfare tell them to shoot.
And then we wonder why Obama doubled the American body count from Bush in 2009, and is now on pace to double his own total (which means four times the Bush 2008 Americans KIA).
But that still wasn’t getting enough American soldiers killed, so Team Obama came up with a better idea: how about ordering soldiers to go into battle with unloaded weapons? That’s right. Soldiers are now told to wait until they actually start falling down on the ground dead before they can actually be allowed to fumble a round into the chamber.
And you want to know how to win a medal in Obama’s army? Don’t do anything. Certainly don’t actually shoot at the enemy. It used to be that the hero was the guy who took on the enemy. Now it’s the guy who crawls into the fetal position and walks away from a battle with an unfired weapon.
And Iran sure doesn’t have to worry about Obama shooting at them as they develop their nuclear arsenal so they can cause Armageddon.
About the only thing Obama’s military will fight for is gay rights. You can bet that the same political weasels who won’t let our soldiers actually shoot at the enemy will fight tooth and nail for the right of homosexual soldiers to be able to buttrape their buddies. Because we don’t have nearly enough gay rape in the military. That’s going to be the new meaning to “Don’t ask, don’t tell.” Don’t tell, because that homosexual is the new protected class.

Why in the world would military leaders allow their troops to go into batlle with UNLOADED WEAPONS??? HOW could any commander follow such an insane rule??? I honestly don’t understand.

The Obama administration distrusts the American fighting man. That’s all there really is to say. Obama believes that the first instinct of Marines and soldiers is to massacre innocent civilians.
It’s a lie, but that’s the way our leaders think these days.
Now, imagine you’ve just come under fire. You’re terrified, you’ve got a massive adrenaline rush, and you’ve got a useless stick to point at the enemy until you’ve performed a couple of extra steps with your trembling fingers that you should have been able to do before the shooting started.
Could it cost you your life?
Judging from June’s highest ever US casualty figures, yes, it most certainly could.
