I’d appreciate it if you could show me how many state capitols have been placed on lockdown alert by police as out-of-control tea partiers rioted:

Not only did the tea party protestors clean up their own trash, while liberals left a massive mess; but tea partiers are gathering to clean up vile liberal swine’s trash, too.

Show me the death threats against liberal politicians and their families such as this one coming from the left against Republicans in Wisconsin. Or for that matter, in New York, where Republican Rep. Pete King has been assigned a security detail due to death threats.
During the last two years we’ve been fed a massie dose of non-stop lies by mainstream media propagandists – and I’m talking Joseph Goebbels stuff – accusing peaceful demonstrators of hate and violence. And now we get to see actual hatred and violence, and where’s the media saying, “What we’re seeing in Wisconsin by the left dwarfs even our made-up lies about the tea parties!”???
Rush Limbaugh had a response to all the violence and rage that is erupting in Wisconsin: play Obama’s hypocritical Arizona speech to the mob:
RUSH: You know, if I were in Wisconsin and I had access to the State Capitol building today, you know what I would do, ladies and gentlemen? I’d go get Obama’s speech from Arizona at the so-called memorial for Gabrielle Giffords and I’d just loop it. I’d just have that thing playing throughout the State Capitol building. I’d turn Obama’s words on these thugs. And in the process I would turn them on him as well. I’d edit that phony speech down to this that I have here and I’d let ’em scream and yell and vandalize and trespass and shut down their own government. Remember part of what Obama said out there at the Gabrielle Giffords — actually it was a rally, they had T-shirts and all that. He said, “But at a time when our discourse has become so sharply polarized,” a bunch of windows being broken, union thugs going in, tearing down statues or whatever. “At a time when we are far too eager to lay the blame for all that ails the world at the feet of those who happen to think differently than we do,” and get these people out there railing against the Republicans and Scott Walker. “It’s important for us to pause for a moment and make sure that we’re talking with each other in a way that heals, not in a way that wounds. For the record, when Democrats chant “Shame! Shame! Shame!” they seriously need to be looking in a mirror.

One: Fascism is considered a right-wing ideology by left-wing ideologues. Fascism is “right wing” in the extremely limited sense that it is the “far right” of the extreme left. Based on your previous attack against me for “imposing” my religion for merely writing an article to my own blog makes you a fascist whether you want to wear the label or not.
Further, fascism is a form of socialism. “NAZI” stood for “National Socialist German Workers Party.” Are you saying if we had a “National Socialist American Workers Party” it would be Republicans joining it? Are you seriously that dumb? To go on, “fascism” is a form of government that is based on a super-powerful state dictating control over the private means of production. Republicans want limited government; liberals want the very super-powerful state that fascism clearly needs to become fascist in the first place. You want to see a fascist, just go to the closest mirror.
I’d actually enjoy it very much were you to explain to me exactly in what way limited-government conservatism is “fascist.” That would be quite informative. As a common example, liberals say that fascists are “right wing” because of the militarism. And really? The fact that the far leftist communist Soviet Union had the largest military on the planet wasn’t “militarism”? And then I’ll start providing all the ways that it is in fact very much like big-government American liberalism.
Two: (The part where you say, “You decide how to react”). Here’s how I’d react; I’d go find another job, from an employer who was willing to pay me what I deserve. You, on the other hand, would call up your brown-shirted thugs and start rioting, because you don’t respect the fact that that employer actually has any rights whatsoever to control his own business that he worked to build. Again, it’s a case of me as a conservative embracing the right of that business to run his/her business in a free market, verus that whole fascist thing applying to the left and using big-government power to force things to be done a certain way.
But this actually neglects the fact that we are talking here about one group and one group only: “GOVERNMENT WORKERS,” whom even FDR said should never have the right to collective bargaining, because the “employer” is the American people, and they are “collectivizing” against America and against the American people.

For the record, I’m NOT a Southerner; I was raised on the West Coast and other than military training I have never BEEN in the South.

Whoa Michael,
Don’t make it sound like those of us from the South are some form of bad disease. I’m from the south and actually speak in syllables and not one continuous drawl. I am not one of the few that has one tooth that has witnessed everything from robberies to natural disasters. (I actually do not know where they find them so easy. Must have some they call to be a paid witness.) I do not live in a mobile home, even though I was raised in one. I do not have the front seat of a car on my front porch serving as patio furniture. I do have a pickup, but it doesn’t have a gun rack in the back window. I do not have a Confederate flag hanging in my yard. I actually made it past 6th grade and graduated from college. I served in the US Military for almost 22 years and I am a weather forecaster working with the Air Force now. I may be from the South but I am not a second class citizen.
Now for the meat of your blog. I agree the media is biased against the Tea Party and “forget or forgive” the bad actions of liberals.
Are you not scared of the little old ladies and men that line the streets and attend Tea Party meetings? They are a terrible bunch. The Tea Party bunch stares with those looks that burn like fire, which is so much worse than having a rock thrown at you, or taxpayer’s money wasted on cleaning up some little old mess left by a much younger lawless mob. Those strong shaking voices are so much worse than the profanity filled diatribe that comes out of the liberal mouth. They are a scary bunch and should be dealt with. You should be frightened by the Tea Party that believes that when the money is gone you quit spending, instead of getting another credit card and buy a big screen TV. Yes, they are a scary bunch. ;-)

I guess I should have stood up for southerners a little more, rather than merely cite it as merely another of steven’s profound ignorance and error. I realize now that I frankly didn’t even understand that he was trying to say something along the lines of “stupid people live in the South.” I’ve never really understood that level of bigotry; it just sailed over me.
I spent a good year of my life in the South (I just realized I’d never tallied it up) in military training beginning with boot camp and airborne school in Ft. Benning (that was four months right there).
One thing about the South is that it is filled with history. Here on the West coast, you miss out on a lot of that.
I’ve never minded Southern drawls, fwiw. And the only thing I didn’t like about the South were those 100 degree days with high humidity. That and the fact that you could wash a shirt a hundred times and not get the clay stains out from P.T. But I sure did like the landscape.
All that said, I frankly cannot understand why anybody who had a pickup wouldn’t properly equip it with a gun rack. You should get that fixed a.s.a.p.
Yes, yes, those little old ladies who raised their children to grow up into good people and STILL stand for decent values are creatures to be feared. I actually have a picture posted somewhere of a bunch of little old ladies surrounded by police in riot gear lest they launch a wave of violence.
You raise a good point. Here’s a site that detailed how the mainstream media freakout resulted in riot police getting called in to keep a peaceful protest of little old ladies from the Tea Party from boiling over into a Wisconsin-style riot of vicious and vile liberals. And the, of course, the rioting got so out of control in Wisconsin that the police backed off lest the situation truly explode.

Look I’m on the “right”, but to try and act like there are no loons on our side or that the whole left is represented by these loons is just not accurate, not doing justice to your point of view b/c it is Kool-Aid style of thinking, and it diminishes our position. Don’t generalize and put all lefties in the loon category, while I will grant you that I agree there are more vile style loons on their side and loons in general as a %, we have our share of Kool-Aid drinking loons, but I agree with the general point that we on the right are not as vile most of the time. And the reason we are more scrutinized and labeled as some “ism” for anything we say that is remotely different from their point. Anyway, not attacking just saying it is inaccurate to act like we don’t have some loons and vile ppl. Just to put it out there I’d say the right has 5-10% loons or Kool-Aid drinkers and the left has closer 20% of the ppl who hold up signs that the right is fascist/Nazi, which is just a lack of education or a dumb a$$ which the poster you rebutted was clearly both. Finally, I understand you are blogging, but lead with the blog don’t do the politicking thing that makes you like the rest of the brainless ppl in Washington who forgot long ago that they work for us. This is a great forum for the ppl to be heard and start a movement to get the country back on track. Liked the article, just thought it was to politicking and not enough of what we need, LEADERSHIP. But allow me to restate my challenge: show me crap like what I detail here coming from the right. Because other than the accusation that the right is nearly as bad, I didn’t see a single rightwing activity that would back that claim up.
Show me the tea partiers who have done millions of dollars in damage to a capitol building.
Show me the rioting tea partiers charging over police.
Show me the tea partiers threatening the sexual molestation of a liberal politician’s children.
Show me the tea partiers screaming profanities over 14 year-old girls trying to speak (and here’s the video).
Show me the tea partiers booing the National Anthem (and here’s the video of that).
If you’ve got right wingers acting like this, let’s see ’em. Because I’ve got all that and a whole lot more from the left. Show me the stuff that
It’s not 5-10% vs. 20%. It’s more like 98% vs. 2%.
I would submit to you and to anyone else that we are in a war for our country, Aaron. And in a war you take sides and you fight. You don’t sit squarely in the middle and pontificate. You don’t pretend to be above the fight. You pick up a weapon and jump into a foxhole and you fight until your army wins.
