Another Example That Liberalism Is The Ideology Of Hate And Violence

“Let us keep murdering babies or we’ll resort to terrorist bombing attacks.”  That’s pretty much the message here:

Firebomb Thrown at Elderly Woman at Pro-Life Prayer Event
by Steven Ertelt | Kalispell, MT | LifeNews.com | 3/18/11 5:09 PM

A homemade incendiary device was thrown at one of the participants of the 40 Days for Life pro-life prayer vigil at an abortion business in Kalispell, Montana on Thursday night.

The woman walked on the public sidewalk near the abortion business when an unidentified person threw the device — akin to a “Molotov cocktail” — in her direction. The woman did not see either the firebomb nor the assailant it exploded on the sidewalk behind her, making a loud popping noise like a big firecracker as it burst into flame. Fortunately, the woman was not hurt in the incident.

After she regained her composure, the victim called Karen Trierweiler, coordinator of the 40 Days prayer vigils in Kalispell at the All Family Health Care abortion center, over to her.

After a lengthy delay, a Kalispell police officer arrived. However, according to officials with the Thomas More Society, a pro-life legal group that is helping the participants, instead of inspecting the bomb debris or calling evidence technicians to the scene, the officer remarked that police could never get prints or other evidence from the bomb’s remains and said he would call the city’s garbage service to dispose of all the debris.

The officer then said that the 40 Days prayer vigil participants should expect this kind of reaction if they’re protesting at the abortion business. Questioning Officer Hoover’s assessment of the attack, Trierweiler called the Kalispell desk sergeant to complain, where she was unable to get further assistance.

Tom Brejcha, president and chief counsel of the Thomas More Society says his group has filed a formal complaint with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Field Office in Helena, Montana. The organization is for an immediate, intensive investigation of what it calls a “vicious” attack.

“We are appalled by this terrible act of violence, while we’re immensely grateful that God’s grace spared this valiant pro-lifer any serious injury,” he told LifeNews.com this afternoon. “But the reaction of Kalispell police officers after Ms. Trierweiler called them to the scene was equally appalling, indeed outrageous.”

“We intend to file disciplinary complaints against both the officer who came to the crime scene and the desk sergeant whose tepid, indifferent, and grossly unprofessional response to this blatant act of domestic terrorism shows them both unfit to wear a police uniform and at best deserving of severe disciplinary action. We expect much better from the FBI and we will pursue the matter to the very highest levels of the U.S. Department of Justice if this case is not investigated promptly and vigorously and — once the assailant is identified and apprehended — prosecuted to the hilt,” he continued.

Trierweiler also reported that an eyewitness has stepped forward, who was not part of the 40 Days campaign but was a passerby and who the incident occur and may be able to help the FBI track down the bomb thrower and bring him to justice.

Abortion is the ugliest kind of violence against the most innocent human beings.  That said, the abortion movement also has profound ties to disgusting racism and racial genocidePlanned Parenthood is the organization for choice if you’re the kind of sick rat bastard who wants fewer black people in the world.

The left that assists this violent and racist genocide has a very long history of violence.    I’ve talked about it here and here and here and here and here and here and here and here and here and here.  Just for starters.  And of course, recently, in Wisconsin, there was this.

We’re also seeing that if you are a liberal today, and it doesn’t matter what you are – a police officer, or an Attorney General, or a journalist, or a public school teacher, or a medical doctor – you drag your ideology into your work in a grossly unprofessional manner.  These are bad people with a dark and frankly demonic agenda.

Next thing you know, they’re going to say we should expect to be bombed if we are putting a nativity scene on the town green. Oh wait, we’re no longer allowed to do that sort of thing, because we are forcing Christianity on a predominantly atheist population! But it’s outrageous that they are allowed to force murder, homosexuality and cencorship down our throats! Does anyone still believe that our president is a Christian???????? The Bible says that even satan appears as an angel of light. While I’m sad and angry, I’m becoming less and less surprised. I wonder what will become of their “investigation”. I’ll quote you Mike, “Does anyone miss G.W. Bush yet??!!”

The first atheist comment I received on the “Atheist Country Japan Smashed By Tsunami” article came from an “outraged atheist” who accused me of imposing my religion on him:

As an atheist, I have only this to say to you:

For attempting to force your religion (Maybe “cult” might be accurate) on them, you are… I don’t even know what I can say to this without violating my own standards of decency.

Apparently, he a) wasn’t smart enough to understand that article, and b) lacked the moral intelligence to understand the hypocrisy of his own position.

I wrote an article that I posted ONLY to my own blog. Yes, it was picked up by others and cross-posted, but the ONLY place I posted that article was here. But he was outraged. And so to express his outrage he came to MY Christian blog and imposed his religion of atheism (and see here) onto me.

I DIDN’T post on his atheist site and he accused me of “forcing my religion” on him; he DID come to my Christian site and forced his religion onto me.

We need to fight these people, because to the extent that the coming government anti-religious persecution is “God’s judgment,” it is the result of our own sin of APATHY as Christian people who stood idly by while our freedoms were seized from us piece by piece, and finally bloody chunk by bloody chunk.

As you point out, Margarita, the current government is hostile to Christianity and to Christians. They are working on so many fronts to take away our heritage that you can’t possibly take it all in.

And Obama is doing it under the guise of an “angel of light.” It’s all done for such noble purposes (e.g., to stop religious people from “forcing their religion” on others). And yes, that is a tactic of the devil. It was also a favorite tactic of Hitler and Stalin: every time they stomped on righteousness, they had a “righteous-sounding” pretext for doing so.

I don’t mind being a martyr; but I’m going to SHOUT OUT about it and point a finger in these hypocrites’ face as they haul me away.

Funny how they’ve shut out The Lord in just about every aspect of life in the USA. The only thing they haven’t done is close down our churches. Our founding fathers came here to escape persecution in Europe, where they had no religious freedom. We were a Nation Under God, now we are just a nation of cowards!! People are afraid to speak up for The Lord. They’re scared of being fired. Of being labeled A Christian Wacko (Steve Noble!), of being Uncool. AND THOSE ARE THE BELIEVERS! We don’t have religious freedom anymore. The only religion not tolerated is Christianity. That’s why I love people like Steve Noble and yourself, for being BOLD AND OUTSPOKEN!! YOU TWO EXPLORE SUBJECTS EVEN PASTORS WON’T TOUCH. That’s one of the things I love about G.W. Bush. He is a Christian, and he does not apologize for it. There USED TO BE prayer in the White House. We need to get that back.

In a way, they ARE closing down our churches.

Many cities which are seeking to maximize sales tax revenue are refusing to allow the construction of new churches and are even seeking to tear down existing churches. They want to take property away from tax exempt churches and “redistribute” that property to shopping centers.

What you say about “cowardly Christians” is quite true. And it leads to an observation from me: I believe that the abandonment of Bible reading – and PARTICULARLY READING FROM THE OLD TESTAMENT – is responsible for that gutlessness.

You don’t read the prophets and come away with a mealy-mouthed version of the Judeo-Christian worldview.

Philip Yancey once wrote a book entitled, “The Bible Jesus Read.” And what was that Bible? The Old Testament.

Today, not only can’t most Christians name all the books of the Old Testament; they can’t even name all the Ten Commandments.

I’ve thought about some of my denunciations of Obama, Margarita. For example, I’ve said he is a wicked man. I’ve called him a “weasel.” But, well, Obama IS a wicked man with a depraved worldview. He might be “nice”; but his project is fundamentally in violation of the Word and will of God. A little more troublesome is my use of “names” like “weasel.” I probably shouldn’t do that. I should turn it into an adjective instead. Obama is “weaselly.” I believe that is a very accurate description of the man’s style.

I get annoyed very quickly whenever someone starts throwing out names or labels without saying anything else. I don’t believe I do that; instead, what I try to do is FIRST document and establish my case and THEN apply the names and labels. It isn’t wrong to label a wicked person “wicked” when you can demonstrate their wickedness. And again, I would turn to the prophets of the Old Testament to show that.

Jesus told us that He did not come to abolish the Old Testament, but to fulfill it. And no biblically literate Christian should have any trouble whatsoever understanding how the New Testament fulfills the Old. That said, when you stop reading the Old Testament – the Bible of Jesus and for that matter the disciples of Jesus for most of the rest of their lives – you end up with a dumbed down, mealy-mouthed and (again) weaselly form of Christianity.

  5. margarita Says:

I couldn’t agree with you more!!! I read the Old Testament just as much as the New Testament because the ability to cross reference validates the Gospel. If anyone is interested in getting into the book of Leviticus, it spells Remission of Sins through Christ all over the book. It makes me appreciate my Savior that much more. Because honestly, if I had to grab a bullock by the horns and slash it’s throat and sprinkle it’s blood on the Mercy Seat seven times, wow! And I absolutely appreciate your mention of Christ coming to fulfill the law and not abolish it. When people open their mouths without having knowledge to back up their claims, they are speaking emotionally, not logically. I find that it tends to be the people that don’t have the knowledge that open their mouths the most!

  6. Michael Eden Says:

There’s a quote that may have come from Reagan. It goes something like, “Well, the trouble with our liberal friends is not that they are ignorant, but that they know so much that isn’t so.”

We get so much just flat-out ignorant crap thrown at us by atheists. But sadly, too many Christians can’t answer this stuff because they’ve never bothered to read their own Scriptures.

One common example is, “Why do Christians eat shellfish and pork today?” And Christians can cite passages such as Acts chapter 10 (esp vs. 15), but they can’t explain why God saying ‘don’t eat pork’ and ‘you can eat pork now’ isn’t a contradiction.

I’ll answer my own question. Why isn’t that a contradiction? It goes to the very thing you cite: the sacrificial system. Before the flood, God told Noah to take two of every kind of animal, but SEVEN pairs of clean animals (Gen 7:2). That wasn’t for food; it was for sacrifice. The dietary laws of Moses had not yet been revealed. What is going on in the dietary laws is an application of Romans 12:1 (“Present your bodies a living sacrifice…”). Jews sacrificed only clean animals for sin offerings. He desired faithful obedience rather than sacrifice. And He was giving Israel a picture of living like a living sacrifice pleasing to God. And, of course, when Jesus abolished the sacrificial system by FULFILLING IT as the once-for-all sacrifice for sin, the clean and unclean food distinction was simply no longer relevant.

And there are so many examples of how people just can’t understand the Bible unless they actually read it and in particular read both Testaments. We should be able to understand how the Old foreshadowed and anticipated the New, and how the New fulfilled and explained the Old.

So many people – and the worst offenders are Christians because God holds them PARTICULARLY accountable to His Word – have a partial, incomplete and therefore wrong view of Scripture and of Christianity.

Jesus came as the Messiah, the fulfillment of the Jewish Scriptures. He is the One whom “Abraham rejoiced to see my day” (John 8:56), and He is the One whom Moses foretold would come (Deut 18:15 cf. John 6:14).
