In Washington’s current state of dysfunction, everyone has a favorite hyper-partisan moment. House Republican Whip Eric Cantor’s moment came at a White House meeting with congressional leaders on day three of the new Administration. He handed President Barack Obama a list of ideas to fix the economy. Pointing to a small business tax-cut item, Obama said: “We disagree on tax policy.” When Cantor tried to justify his own position, Obama responded: “Elections have consequences, and at the end of the day, I won.”
But, of course, elections should only have consequences when the Marxists win. Otherwise, in the words of the now House MINORITY leader Nancy Pelosi, “… it doesn’t matter so much who wins the election, because we have shared values.”
Shared values my butt. Unless one of the “shared values” is that only Democrat election victories should matter:

Pelosi: “To My Republican Friends: Take Back Your Party. So That it Doesn’t Matter So Much Who Wins the Election”Ah yes, if only we all thought the way Nancy Pelosi and the Left does, then there would be no problems in our world. I suppose those pesky other points of view and beliefs just get in the way of running our ungovernable country.
From Mediaite is this little but of the former Speaker’s wisdom (video at the link):
“Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi gave a speech at Tufts University in Massachusetts where she shared some ‘friendly’ advice with the opposing side in Washington. Clearly frustrated with the lengthy and acrimonious budget fight, Pelosi said ‘elections shouldn’t matter as much as they do’ and warned that it would be problematic for the country if both parties do not have shared values.
“Pelosi challenged Republicans:
“‘To my Republican friends: take back your party. So that it doesn’t matter so much who wins the election, because we have shared values about the education of our children, the growth of our economy, how we defend our country, our security and civil liberties, how we respect our seniors.’
“Might the old saying ‘elections have consequences’ be replaced by Pelosi’s new version of ‘it doesn’t matter so much who wins the election?'”
She then goes on to say that “Elections shouldn’t matter as much as they do.” Does anyone have a problem with that last line? Anyone?
Of course this is coming from a prominent member of the same political party that declared the Democrats had been given a mandate from the people following the ’08 elections. And this is coming from the same party whose presidential candidate declared that his own election marked the moment when healing would start and the ocean levels would begin to recede. Hmm.
I am also curious as to what exactly were the the shared values that caused Pelosi to push ObamaCare through with a parliamentary trick past massive protests. Some mysterious value not shared by the majority of the American people it would seem. It’s little wonder that Pelosi should believe that elections shouldn’t matter so much in America.
You should be able to vote in Pelosi’s or Obama’s “People’s Republic of the Former United States of America.” But your vote shouldn’t be allowed to make much of a difference.
I have nothing in common with Nancy Pelosi. Even when she states a good thing, she proceeds to twist and distort and pervert it into a vile thing.
This kind of reminds me of federal debt ceilings. When Republicans run things, it is a “failure of leadership” caused by “reckless fiscal policies” to vote for one. When Marxist liberals are in power, it is a disastrous failure of mindboggling proportions NOT to vote for one.
I for one am sick to my gills of vile rat bastard Democrats and their constantly self-righteous and self-serving tactics. These people are such total hypocrites that only a media propganda machine that would make Joseph Goebbels envious could possibly not make true Americans vomit at the mere thought of the Demoncrat (that’s “Demonic Bureaucrat”) Party.
The American people need to throw the Obamas (“elections have consequences, and I won”) and Pelosis (elections should only be allowed to have consequences when liberals win) out on their ear. They represent a cancer on our republic and the basic democratic values that made our nation great.
Elections DO have consequences. And so does the inexcusable demagoguery that Obama used to demonize Republicans just a few short years ago. Obama is claiming that it would entail a national disaster to act as wickedly and treasonously as he himself personally acted in 2006. He needs to resign for his own abject “failure of leadership” and “reckless fiscal policies.”

There’s a book I recommend everyone read, titled, “O Jerusalem.”
One of the things you learn is that the Arab dictators who didn’t give one damn about their people would cynically use demonization of Israel to create a bogeyman to blame all the failures of their dictatorships on.
Hitler blamed the Jews.
Blame and demagoguery is how these people’s minds work.
