Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand there goes my appetite. Probably for the rest of my life:
Increasing the debt ceiling so we can study gay men’s penis size
Gil Guignat
Phoenix Conservative Examiner
July 18, 2011While the state of Arizona is drowning in a Watergate-like scandal of biblical proportions in operation Fast and Furious and the country is collapsing economically, the Washington Hillbillies could not sink any lower.
It would appear that more stimulus funds to study the penis size of gay men have been budgeted. Incidentally, we call the DC hillbillies the Washington ruling class democrat or republican who are so over educated and indoctrinated that they exhibit a stupidity that makes them totally unable to live a life of common sense; yet, these hillbillies are in charge of our futures.
‘The federal government helped fund a study that examined what effect a gay man’s penis size has on his sex life and general well-being.
The study was among several backed by the National Institutes of Health that have come under scrutiny from a group claiming the agency is wasting valuable tax dollars at a time when the country is trying to control its debt. This particular research resulted in a 2009 report titled, “The Association Between Penis Size and Sexual Health Among Men Who Have Sex with Men.”
The study reported, among its findings, that gay men with “below average penises” were more likely to assume a “bottom” sexual position, while those with “above average penises” were more likely to assume a “top” sexual position. Those with average penises identified themselves as “versatile” in the bedroom. ‘
While the DC hillbillies are negotiating the future of our country, they see fit to earmark funding to study the penis size of gay men. At the same time the Obama administration has turned down IBM on a plan to cut $900 billion in government waste.
‘“We could have improved the quality and reduced the cost of the healthcare system by $900 billion…Isaid we would do it for free to prove that it works. They turned us down, “IBM chairman and CEO Samuel Palmisano said during a Sept. 14, 2010 taping of the Wall Street Journal’s Viewpoints program.
FOX News confirmed that a second meeting between Palmisano and Obama administration officials yielded the same result: “No thanks!” – even though the proffered “fix” would have eliminated 90 percent of the nation’s health care deficit – and cost taxpayers nothing it didn’t perform as guaranteed.
Yet Medicare/Medicaid fraud is still rampant. ‘ More…
If you think there is a future in raising the debt ceiling, you might want to think twice when the DC Hillbillies put as a priority to study the penis size of gay men. These are the same hillbillies who want to raise the debt ceiling with no conditions attached. These are the same hillbillies who have gotten us into this mess. What is going to change if we let them have their way?
Dick Morris has said it best this morning:” No retreat! No surrender!”where he states that the Republicans have all the power to get what we want and put a dagger in the heart of the Obama juggernaut once and for all. Instead members of the DC Hillbilly class like Senator McCain, McConnell, and Kyl want to give President Obama all the authority to raise the debt ceiling at will. When they are in favor of giving Obama more money so the penis size of gay men can be carefully studied, you know we have reached the line in the sand. We cannot let these hillbillies continue.
Under no circumstance should this debt ceiling be raised with this kind of stupidity going on. They are not qualified to negotiate on our behalf and they won’t. On the contrary. If we raise the debt ceiling, we will guarantee a default of biblical proportions.
Now we know why we can’t have a balanced budget amendment. We would never get to know how this soap opera drama of a study turns out (Will Bill with the small penis ever get to be “on top”? Stay tuned in for our next multi-million dollar study funded by you the American taxpayer…

……..This has got to be some kind of joke. Please tell me it is……Seriously, what can a small person like me do to stop this? This is disturbing!!!

If this isn’t evidence of the absolute insanity and depravity of this administration, I don’t know what is!!!!
DON’T. RAISE. THE DEBT. CEILING.

HL,
I’m not as hard-and-fast against raising the debt ceiling as you are (or at least appear to be).
Basically, I’m choosing to trust the Republican leadership (or at least a FEW who are leaders), becuase they’re all we’ve got, and they’re carrying the water for us.
If I were the emperor, I would do what you say: I would NOT raise the debt ceiling; rather, I would CUT SPENDING NOW.
This is actually rather frightening. We may well NOT get a deal with the most divisive and leftwing president in US history.
While wise leadership from the president would keep us from a default even with a shutdown, WE DON’T HAVE A WISE LEADER.
Further, the agencies that would lower the debt ceiling have a rather terrible record of rating; they could lower our credit rating even if they shouldn’t to make up for all the times they DIDN’T lower an entity’s credit rating when they SHOULD have.
And if our credit rating gets lowered, you can rest assured powerful opponents such as Russia and China would start calling for the United States dollar to be replaced as the default global currency.
And if that happens, the United States will financially implode very quickly. Because the fact that we are the global currency (e.g. oil and most other commodities are sold throughout the world ONLY in US dollars) has given us the ability to borrow at low rates FAR beyond what we ever should have had. And if that status gets yanked away, we go the way of the Dodo bird very quickly.
And this could all happen over this fight.
Whose fault is this? Again, it is the fault of the MOST polarizing and divisive president in the history of the republic.
Obama promised he would transcend the political divide. But he lied. He is a proven liar who cannot be trusted.
He won’t offer a plan of his own; only nebulous promises the Republicans KNOW he’ll go back on.
So what I demand from my leaders is that they stand firm and courageous.

Margarita,
I wrote it with irony in mind. But you’re right; it IS disturbing. THIS kind of vile crap is exactly what you get when you a) chase God out of our government; and then b) have a giant all-powerful government.
We have GOT to make this government smaller and more moral. Or we will surely collapse.

Michael, I think they will raise the debt ceiling. I just want the GOP to use the power they have to force spending cuts, NOT raise taxes and put the blame on Obama and the Democrats where it belongs.
I am beyond weary of the GOP going wobbly on us. Get someone who can speak effectively in front of a camera and a microphone and tell Americans the truth night and day. Marco Rubio or Allen West are good choices in my estimation. I seriously pray for our leaders in DC who are standing and doing what is right.
What Obama is doing is unconscionable and criminal.

HL,
In understand exactly how you feel.
The Republicans live between a rock and a hard place.
EVERY TIME they try to do the right thing, to do what is necessary to save our country from obvious impending fiscal ruin, the Democrats and the mainstream media join forces to demonize them.
And unfortunately the tactic has basically worked every single time until the present moment. The people heed the fearmongering and demonizing and blame the Republicans (i.e. the only people who are TRYING to do what needs to be done to save the country).
And here we are again, and many polls show that AGAIN the people are turning on the Republicans.
So if they make a stand, they get voted out of office and the Democrats impose a terrible agenda anyway.
It’s terrible. And the American people are becoming an enemy of the United States of America. Which was exactly what the founding fathers most feared.
