Why Do Liberals Constantly Smear Republicans By Comparing Them To VILE DEMOCRATS???

I watched the Fox News program called “The Five” last night, and the discussion turned to the Alabama immigration law.

Obnoxious and vile liberal Bob Beckel called it “the Bull Connor law.”  I don’t have the transcript of his remark, but it’s a leftwing talking point, so I don’t need it.

There’s only one problem with that: Bull Connor was a Democrat.  He started his career as a Democrat and he ended it as a Democrat.

Google the Wikipedia article on the slimebag.  Copy and paste it into a text file and then search for the word “Republican.”  You’ll get the message box “Cannot find Republican.”  Because Bull Connor WASN’T a Republican.

Try that with “Democrat” and THAT word comes up repeatedly.

In the same way, Republicans invariably get tainted with “slavery.”  It doesn’t matter that the Republican Party had an abolitionist platform, or that the DEMOCRAT Party was the pro-slavery Party.  Those are “facts,” and Democrats hate facts with a rabid, foaming-at-the-mouth frenzy that has to be seen to be believed.

Again, Republicans are invariably compared to “the Ku Klux Klan” and “pointy hats” and “white sheets,” etcetera, etcetera.  It doesn’t matter that:

History shows that the Ku Klux Klan was the terrorist arm of the Democrat Party. This ugly fact about the Democrat Party is detailed in the book, A Short History of Reconstruction, (Harper & Row Publishers, Inc., 1990) by Dr. Eric Foner, the renown liberal historian who is the DeWitt Clinton Professor of History at Columbia University.   As a further testament to his impeccable credentials, Professor Foner is only the second person to serve as president of the three major professional organizations: the Organization of American Historians, American Historical Association, and Society of American Historians.

It doesn’t matter that:

the history of the origins of Ku Klux Klan … provides a chilling account of the atrocities committed by Democrats against Republicans, black and white.”

It doesn’t matter that the 1924 National Democratic Convention was so dominated by the Klan that it was called “The Klanbake.”

It never ceases to amaze me that the most vile things Democrats can accuse Republicans of … all actually come from Democrats.  It amounts to Democrats shouting at us, “You are such a vile piece of cockroach crap that you’re a DEMOCRAT!!!”

Here’s another example just out today about Democrts and liberals calling Republicans and tea party people “terrorists” WHEN THEY WERE MORE DAMN TERRORIST THAN WE WERE.

And what makes that vicious label even funnier is that Democrats won’t call the ACTUAL TERRORISTS “TERRORISTS.”

Democrats and liberals routinely call Republicans “Nazis” and “fascists.”  It doesn’t matter that “Nazi” stood for “National SOCIALIST German WORKERS Party” or that the evidence is FAR more extensive that Nazis and fascists were at best the far right of the very extreme LEFT (see also here).

Again, Republicans, according to Democrats, are so evil, so vile, so despicable that they are SOCIALISTS.

Democrats live in a world of lies.  St. Paul could have used the word “Democrats” in 2 Corinthians 4:4 where he wrote, “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”

It’s not only Jesus Christ or biblical morality Democrats are blind to, it is truth, reason and history.

It obviously doesn’t matter to you, either, that a rant is not a worthwhile way to get across your point (if you have one aside from bashing Democrats) that Reps and Democrats are no longer being viewed or are seen in their same roles as they were in the 19th Century. BTW, we are talking about Southern Democrats and Republicans, aren’t we, or is that not part of your estute historic observation? And to conclude your diatribe, you drag in the Bible, for support which is about as useful, in your argument, as using a outdated car repair guide.

  2. Michael Eden Says:

    ajcolvin,

It doesn’t matter to you that your entire leftist ideology is far more likely to engage in “rants” and extremist ideology and tactics than my side is. Just look at the Occupy movement and compare it to my Tea Party. You are a vile bunch of haters, and that is a documented FACT. But that doesn’t matter to you one iota, does it?

People like you just make me sick. You are such twisted hypocrites it is positively UNREAL. You demonize us every single day. Barack Obama makes more rabidly partisan statements that pour hate on Republicans in one week than George Bush made about Democrats in his entire 8 years in office. As I write this, I note that Barack Obama is demonizing Republicans in a rabidly partisan manner over the payroll tax cut fiasco. Your people are on the record shrilly attacking us every single day. And yet you have the naked hypocrite chutzpah to scold me for “ranting.” What a piece of work you are.

And, yes, thank you for further pointing out that you despise religion and in particular Christianity.

George Washington said in His Farewell Address:

“Of all the dispositions and habits, which lead to political prosperity, Religion and Morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of Patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of Men and Citizens.”

I’m sure your hatred for George Washington and America’s founding fathers is surpassed only by your hatred for Jesus Christ, but by the standards of our first and greatest founding father, you’re a damn traitor who can never qualify for the title “patriot.” You already demonstrated in your comment that you piss on history as much as you are ignorant of what it means.

You want to get a little more modern? How about this? The 1924 Democrat National Convention was SO dominated by the Klan that it was called “Klanbake”; and even during the Civil Rights period when Republicans voted for it in significantly higher numbers than did Democrats (not to mention the fact that until very recently the Democrat Party featured an actual former Kleagle and Exalted Cyclops of the Klu Klux Klan. During the height of WWII, Byrd wrote a letter to Sen. Theodore Bilbo stating his refusal to join the military because he might have to serve alongside “race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.” And only his recent death prevented Byrd from continuing to be one of the Democrat Party’s most honored and revered members. In the 26 major civil rights votes after 1933, a majority of Democrats opposed civil rights legislation in over 80 percent of the votes. By contrast, the Republican majority favored civil rights in over 96 percent of the votes. Or more recent, how about the fact that Bill Clinton shocked Ted Kennedy by saying against Obama, “A few years ago this guy would have been getting coffee.” How about liberals hating on black Clarence Thomas saying, “String him up” and “Send him back to the fields.” How about THOSE Democrats? Is that a short enough “historic observation” for you???

Btw, if you’re going to try to use intelligent sounding words such as “astute,” you might as well try spelling them right, you snobbish arrogant dumbass.

Yeah…the party that fought to end slavery and segregation because it was immoral and simply unfair versus the party that sought to maintain the system for as long as political benefits could be gained by doing so…not morally equivalent by any means. The Democratic Party is the party of special interests.

  4. Michael Eden Says:

    Thanks for that comment, Jay.

It’s too bad so few people bother to understand history so they can see how transparently false Democrat arguments are and always have been.

  5. Anonymous Says:

it doesn’t matter you VILE republicans will do anything to clean up your party’s and 1#’s mess any way you can
    EX 1 bush
EX 2 bush 2 includes debt wars and it’s the big one 2008 crash
and wasn’t nov. 3 4 5 or anywhere near that clear;y most problems today are W bush’s fault at least in this country at most the world

  6. Michael Eden Says:

    Anonymous,

Bush was apparently a great leader for you: he was the last real man who actually took any responsibility whatsoever to have anything whatsoever to do with the Oval Office.

It is amazing that you liberals have gone through an entire Democrat presidency – during which time you even had lock step control of both the House and the Senate – and never ONCE assumed responsibility for anything while you never bothered to pass a single budget and while you brought America to budget deficits of well over a trillion dollars (for the first time in American history) every single year of your failed regime.

  7. Tom Says:

Thank you for writing this! I wanted to vent, and I felt like reading this… let’s just say you summed it up perfectly.

  8. Michael Eden Says:

    Tom,

Thanks. When a fellow “venter” says that somebody had a good vent, well, that’s pretty serious affirmation!

Unfortunately, it’s hard NOT to “vent” now the way the world is going, isn’t it?
