Gay Former Jesse Jackson Staffer Sexual Discrimination Lawsuit Proves Point That Liberals Are Just Degenerate People

Gay Ex-Staffer Makes Lurid Claims in Sexual Harassment Suit Against Jesse Jackson
Posted on September 21, 2011 at 5:42pm by Madeleine Morgenstern

A former staffer to Rev. Jesse Jackson has filed a lawsuit against Jackson and his nonprofit Rainbow PUSH Coalition, claiming he was sexually harassed and discriminated against because he is gay.

According to the complaint, filed Sept. 16, Tommy R. Bennett worked for outreach organization Rainbow PUSH from July 2007 to Dec. 2009. During that time, he said he was subjected to a barrage of humiliating and discriminating behavior from both Jackson and a fellow staff member, Caroline Wiggins.

In one instance, the complaint said, Wiggins requested to be transferred from under Bennett’s supervision because of his sexual orientation, which was widely known around the office. She then allegedly told the rest of the staff she was glad she did not have to answer to Bennett anymore and “would make a limp wrist gesture towards Mr. Bennett whenever Mr. Bennett walked down the hallway.”

In 2008, soon after Wiggins was transferred, the complaint said she led a prayer during a volunteer meeting in which she stated, “bind these homosexual spirits that are in the office” and “get these homosexuals out of here and do it in Jesus’ name” — comments that were heard throughout the office. At that point, Bennett filed a Human Resources complaint but said he never got a response.

Wiggins left the organization for unspecified reasons soon after Bennett filed the complaint.

Later in 2008, Bennett was appointed Jackson’s travel assistant, during which time he said he was harassed by Jackson himself and made to do “demeaning and demoralizing tasks.”

According to Talking Points Memo:

He claims that he was instructed to do a number of “humiliating tasks,“ including ”escort women to [Jackson’s] room after work hours and clean up his room after sexual intercourse with women,” arrange a massage for Jackson, and bring Jackson Cialis from his room. For a trip to Tanzania, Bennett alleges he was asked to pack for Jackson, who “was not happy with his packing and started screaming, ‘motherf***er’ repeatedly.” In another instance, he alleges he was asked to pick up a prescription and apply it to a rash on Jackson’s inner thigh. When Bennett refused, he claims Jackson called him “little motherf***er.”

In the most lurid of the allegations described, Bennett alleges Jackson, dressed only in briefs, made implicit sexual advances towards him when describing a time when he got oral sex from a teacher. Read more in the complaint (.pdf) here.

Bennnett was placed on paid leave in May 2009, the complaint said, after an office intern falsely claimed Bennett had taken him to a gay bar, propositioned him and smoked marijuana with him. Although a subsequent investigation determined the allegations not to be true, Bennett was formally terminated in Dec. 2009, supposedly due to a lack of funding — despite the organization hiring a replacement and filling several other positions after he left.

According to the Chicago Tribune, in a joint response to a separate complaint Bennett filed earlier this year, Jackson and Rainbow PUSH said they “unequivocally deny Tommy Bennett’s false claims of harassment, retaliation and discrimination”:

“The organization does not condone or tolerate discrimination in any form,” the statement said. “His inflammatory allegations are an attempt to malign Rev. Jackson and the organization, and are hurtful and harmful to the progressive community. We are fully cooperating with the Chicago Commission on Human Relations and expect to be fully exonerated.”

Bennett is seeking at least $98,300 in lost income and benefits and $350,000 for emotional distress and other damages.

Just a bunch of princes (well, princesses anyway) of the realm.

I’m starting to realize that the only thing that is actually WORSE than a liberal secular humanist is a liberal “reverend.”

Although I do understand and agree with many of the points you make on this blog, I also find your hate for “liberals” to be very disturbing. really? You’re going to group everyone together like that? It’s truly the “them against us” mindset that stirs hatred in this world. I can tell that there’s sarcasm involved, but I’m sure your blogs stir up a lot of hate as well. Is this your goal? You write as if you are educated (which I believe you are), yet your passions are primitive. There are horrible people everywhere regardless of whether or not they’re liberal or conservative. There are countless stories from the past where both liberals and conservatives kill someone for their race, gender, or homosexuality. Part of me believes that you already know that. So why then are you brewing so much hate? Vehemently disagreeing and having a good reason to is one thing, but targeting a group as you do is really cultivating the same feelings as say jesse jackson probably did with the young man that you blogged about. Of course your actions are on different spectrums, but stirring more hate into this word is counterproductive to what I’m sure you’re intending to do. As I said, I agree with many points that you make and I know that I personally won’t spit on someone because they’re a “liberal”. However, there a much more impressionable people than me that really may take your blog out of context. If you’re going to take a stand and look “evil” in the eye, do it with dignity–rise above the smut. But hey, it’s your blog. Maybe just give it a thought you know? Something that those darn “liberals” won’t do, right? Just a comment from another conservative who would like to see some change as well.

I wrote an article titled, “Do Unto Obama As Liberals Did Unto Bush.” It pretty much lays out my strategy and my grounds for that strategy.

I’m not out to stirp up hate. I’m out to convince people like you that it IS truly a them against us reality.

Let’s take abortion, just as one example. Are you a “conservative” who is okay with the fact that liberals have murdered 54 MILLION innocent human beings? Or are you “opposed” to it but it really isn’t that big of a deal to you (I mean, what’s 54 million people, anyway?). Maybe you believe it is far more noble to allow another 54 million babies to be killed than to get angry and get in somebody’s face about it – because you getting angry is a lot more “bad” than a measly 54 million dead babies?

You tell ME, Selena, how you propose I compromise with the liberals over this fundamental divide. Do I (literally) split the baby, and say, “How about we only kill 27 million babies instead of 54 million?” Or how about socialism? Do I push for 50% socialism?

Dietrich Bonhoeffer said something you should seriously consider, Selena. History now proves that Bonhoeffer was a giant moral hero standing amongst a crowd of moral pigmies. But this was a man who not only “hated” what he saw around him but who even actively tried to assasinate Adolf Hitler. One of the things he said, Selena, was that, “I must sacrifice my righteousness.” And what he meant by that was not that he was now free to commit adultery and steal, etc. He meant that he was going to have to take a different stand than all the people around him who frankly thought like YOU do. Because there were a lot of people saying, “Let’s not get angry. Let’s not rise up. Let’s not allow our passion to get in the way. Let’s just all get alon.” And meanwhile Hitler was murdering ONE-NINTH as many Jews as American liberals have murdered babies. And Bonhoeffer said, “I’m going to do things that the crowd around me labels as immoral. Just like you are doing to me right now.

I’m trying to be a Dietrich Bonhoeffer; you’re trying to be a Pope Pius XII.

As for your critique that “If you’re going to take a stand and look “evil” in the eye, do it with dignity–rise above the smut,” you know what? You’ve got a point there. When I see a shot, I take it. And sometimes I know I allow my emotions to get the better of me.

When it comes to standing up and taking a stand, I err on going over the top, and I know it. There’s another extreme, Selena, of standing for nothing due to your desire to get along. Which extreme do YOU fall on, do you think?

I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! — Jesus Christ, Revelation 3:15

You need to choose a side and take a genuine stand for that side, Selena. Because this is a time that calls for Churchills, not one that calls for Chamberlains.

Does’nt surprise me, Jackson as always come off has a person who uses others for his own agenda. The sad thing is no justice will be done, if anything the rainbow push coalition will make a settlement from it’s huge war chest of money, which was never earned. Jackson has probally already hired some other person to do his bidding, for a while they’ll think they’re doing it for some noble cause which does not exist, because Jacson only worships money. Then they’ll feel used and wonder why they ever let themselves be taken in by such an obvious louse.

Jesse Jackson makes his very lucrative living using mainstream media propaganda and mob mentality to intimidate and harass businesses into paying him off. It’s nothing short of racial extortion:
