Bill Maher Keeps Documenting The Fact That To Be A Liberal Is To Be A Hypocrite And An Abject Dumbass

Bill Maher had something to say about Rick Santorum’s wife and children:

BILL MAHER: But I bring up the old tale of the poisoned apple — no, not “Snow White,” that’s a fairy tale – because the Adam and Eve story is taken literally by half the country and it’s no coincidence that the type of tree which god forbade Adam and Eve eating from was the Tree of Knowledge. Rick Santorum homeschools his children because he does not want them eating that f–king apple. He wants them locked up in the Christian madrassa that is the family living room not out in public where they could be infected by the virus of reason. If you’re a kid and the only adults you’ve ever met are mom and dad, and then they’re also the smartest adults you’ve met, why not keep it that way? Why mess up paradise with a lot knowledge? After all, a mind is a terrible thing to open.

You can watch him make an ass out of himself and all of liberalism in general right here.

For the record, you can click on that link above or this one to read a little bit about how superior homeschooled kids truly are.

You can learn that home-schooled kids score highest on both the SAT and the ACT tests.

You can read about another “Christian madrassa” kid who was not allowed to eat the “f-ing apple of reason.”  Who scored 1,570 out of a possible 1,600 on his SAT with a perfect 800 in math.

Or you can read this from today:

Virginia girl, 6, youngest ever in U.S. spelling bee
Reuters – 4 hrs ago (3/13/12).

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A 6-year-old U.S. girl will become the youngest contestant ever in the Scripps National Spelling Bee after winning a regional competition in Virginia.

Lori Anne Madison, of Woodbridge, Virginia, won the Prince William County spelling contest earlier this month, beating out 21 top elementary and middle school competitors. Her winning word: “vaquero,” a word of Spanish origin meaning cowboy.

“My parents quiz me. I read lists and I have a really good memory,” Madison, who is home-schooled, told Fox’s WTTG-TV, a Washington-area station.

Madison was believed to be the youngest competitor ever, the Cincinnati-based National Spelling Bee said on Tuesday. Based on incomplete records, the previous youngest contestant was 8, it said.

The spelling contest has been held annually since 1925. This year’s event will be May 29 to June 1 in Washington, with 277 participants from the United States, U.S. territories and other countries.

Madison will be sponsored by the News & Messenger newspaper of Manassas, Virginia.

In other words, evil doesn’t just make you liberal, it makes you a truly stupid human being who is catastrophically unable to understand basic reality.

And, yes, Bill Maher also provides a very graphic documentation of the fact that liberals are abject hypocrites:

This guy who mocks Rick and Karen Santorum as parents and mocks their children and mocks their religion – stupidly and falsely, I might add – also has called Sarah Palin a “cunt” and a “dumb twat” to document that he is an offensive misogynist bigot who makes Rush Limbaugh look like a saint in the pantheon of feminism by comparison.

For the record, I bet that dumb twat cunt Sarah Palin is smart enough to know that home-schooled kids run academic circles around their government-schooled competition.

But of course that won’t stop Barack Obama – in spite of all of his hoity-toity self-righteous sanctimony from pocketing Bill Maher’s $1 million donation.

You see, Obama said “People’s families are off limits.”  But what he clearly meant to say (you know how the media always reinterprets what Obama said so it won’t sound so damn stupid?) is that LIBERAL people’s families are off limits.  Sarah Palin’s and Rick Santorum’s families are good for huntin’ and even better for eatin’.

Obama thanks you for your gift, Maher.  And all liberals should also thank you for showing the world what liberals and liberalism is really like.

Of course, liberals could prove that wrong by refusing to watch his program so that Bill Maher ends up living in a box on the sidewalk like he ought to.  But that aint going to happen: because liberals truly are abject hypcrite dumbasses.

Only a liberal would believe that a reasonably intelligent parent wouldn’t make a better teacher for his or her own child than a government bureaucrat who is warehousing forty of somebody else’s kids.

I truly can’t stand Bill Maher. He is the epidemy of progressive liberalism. Soon, he will join George Carlin, who is currently burning in hell. Maher constantly portrays Christians as backwards, retarded, and lacking wisdom and knowledge. However, he is so “enlightened” and full of worldly knowledge that it is nearly impossible for him to see the truth. God confounds the arrogant and wicked with the simple things. Only the humble and meek can find God; Maher is none of these things, but an arrogant, haughty, angry liberal. It is sad that any shall perish, but the wicked will get what they deserve, and Maher will join the millions like him who are and will be burning in hell. In that awful day, Maher, trembling and shaking, will bow before Christ. He will have eternity to ponder all the stupid things he said and to pay for all the souls he has led astray.

    Free Market Capitalist,

I believe – along with orthodox Christian theology – that man’s nature has been corrupted and we cannot understand truth or reality on our own. And that the ONLY way we can so comprehend truth and reality is to see the world as God sees it; which is to say see the world through God’s Word. But liberals despise the Word of God and have tried to replace it with every theory and ideology under the sun. And the result is that liberal man is stupid; further, he is stupid by sheer brute force of will – he is determined to be stupid. And the more intelligent the liberal is, the more stupid he becomes – because he is able to even further commit himself to failed liberal ideologies and theories than less intellectual liberals who must still at least partly base their worldviews on common sense because they can’t fully comprehend Marxism or other failed progressive socialist theories.

Here are a few Bible versus that speak of the liberal:

You love evil more than good, Falsehood more than speaking what is right. — Psalm 52:3

But he who sins against Me injures himself; all those who hate Me love death — Proverbs 8:36

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! — Isaiah 5:20

You who hate good and love evil, Who tear off their skin from them And their flesh from their bones — Micah 3:2

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools – Romans 1:22

For God’s wrath is being revealed from heaven against all the ungodliness and wickedness of those who in their wickedness suppress the truth – Romans 1:18

In their case, the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who do not believe to keep them from seeing the light of the glorious gospel of the Messiah, who is the image of God. — 2 Corinthians 4:4

Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron — 1 Timothy 4:2

For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. — 2 Tim 4:3-4

    Dear Enlightened,

The word you’re looking for is “epitome,” not epidemy.

You do a good job trashing Bill Maher’s character (not hard to trash the character of someone who uses shock comedy to relay his message) but you do an equally good job at dodging and ignoring any of the substance of his argument. I use “argument” here in the scientific sense, re:thesis, by which I mean he raises a thought, logically defends it, and then ends with his conclusion.

Yes, homeschooled kids do better at college entrance exams and tests. However, a child raised in isolation and taught nothing but piano would undoubtably do better at playing the piano than his/her peers as well. Speaking as someone who was both homeschooled and public schooled, homeschool increases the specificity of learning, while decreasing the bredth. The point Maher is making, and it is a good one, is that when you take your children out of society and teach them in a vacuum, they are limited to the experiences and viewpoints of fewer individuals. That is a really good thing if you want to “indoctrine” someone into you religion, cult, society, or what be it, but not an effective way to teach someone to have an open mind. It also handicaps their learning about anything that their Mummy and Daddy don’t understand… Which is why homeschooled children do so well on college entrance exams, yet most often struggle in college, and fail to go on to be world leaders in any profession.

So, instead of focusing on bashing Maher’s character, why don’t you open your mind for a second and come up with a logical refute for his words.

Unless you don’t see anything wrong with indoctrinating the young…

    Anonymous,

It’s actually not very “scientific” to pick up one single word that somebody misspelled and fixate on it as though the writer was an idiot. Personally, I’ve learned that once you hit your mid-40s your spelling starts to go. And not all of us spell check our comments (that is, unless we’re just about to mock somebody for misspelling a word and don’t want to look seriously stupid).

Which reminds me, as I looked over your comment, I noticed that the word you were looking for in your third para was “breadth,” not “bredth.” What does that say about you, I wonder???

It’s also not particularly scientific to defend Bill Maher’s rationality as you do given that a) the man is practicing rather glaringly obvious naked hatred and bigotry (perhaps you might want to go back and defend Charles Darwin’s or for that matter Nazi scientists’ racist hypotheses also?) and b) Bill Maher quite specifically mocked REASON – and unless you are prepared to argue that the superior mathematic abilities amply documented in homseschooled kids doesn’t qualify as possessing the capability of “reason,” I suggest you do a lot less talking and a lot more shutting the hell up.

And while we’re at it, it’s not particularly “scientific” of you to use your own incredibly limited personal experience and draw sweeping conclusions from it.

    Just for starters.

I spent a little bit of time searching for evidence of your “thesis” that homseschooled kids are socially maladjusted. Guess what? I didn’t find any – like this writer:

I have spent hours researching socialization and homeschooled kids. My coffee is cold, my eyes are bleary and my backside is numb. Despite the popular belief, I couldn’t find a single piece of research that showed homeschooling produces socially unfit kids. In fact, homeschooled kids actually seem to be better socialized then their public and private school counterparts, according to the research. (Follow the links at the bottom of this article to find some of the data.)

    I found stuff like:

Contrary to the popular belief that children educated at home are disadvantaged because of a lack of peers, [a new] study by the Fraser Institute shows they are happier, better adjusted and more sociable than those at institutional schools.”

    I found stuff like:

There have been studies done on the socialization of homeschooled children. In one study by the Discovery Institute in July of 2000, home schooled children were studied alongside their schooled peers. The researchers were not told which were which. The home schooled kids ended up being assessed as “well adjusted”, and as displaying less frequent behavioral problems. According to the scientist who did the study, Dr. Patricia Lines, “There is no basis to question the social development of homeschooled children.”. (qtd. In “Social Skills and Homeschooling: Myths and Facts”).

And I found fairly detailed articles which very much disagree with your “scientific” expertise.

Then you proceed to spit out the utterly stupid assertion that people who homeschool their children are out to brainwash them. And you conclude that no parent would do something so evil, “Unless you don’t see anything wrong with indoctrinating the young…”

Well, apparently it is YOU who love to indoctrinate the young, because here’s what Christian parents are up against (and see also here):

    Some quotes I’ve accumulated:

Richard Dawkins says, “How much do we regard children as being the property of their parents? It’s one thing to say people should be free to believe whatever they like, but should they be free to impose their beliefs on their children? Is there something to be said for society stepping in? What about bringing up children to believe in manifest falsehoods? Isn’t it always a form of child abuse to label children as possessors of beliefs that they are too young to have thought about” even as he demands the right to do just that with his atheistic evolution.

Richard Rorty argued that secular teachers ought to “arrange things so that students who enter as bigoted, homophobic religious fundamentalists will leave college with views more like our own.” And he claimed that students are fortunate to find themselves “under the benevolent Herrshaft of people like me and to have escaped the frightening, vicious, dangerous parents.” He blatantly and arrogantly warned the parents who were literally paying to send their children to him, “we are going to go right on trying to discredit you before the eyes of your children, trying to strip your fundamentalist religious community of dignity, trying to make your views seem silly rather than discussable.”

Steven Weinberg wrote that “Anything that we scientists can do to weaken the hold of religion should be done and may in the end be our greatest contribution to civilization”?

Christopher Hitchens wrote that “All religions and all churches are equally demented in their belief in divine intervention, divine intercession, or even the existence of the divine in the first place”? He wrote that, “How can we ever know how many children had their psychological and physical lives irreparably maimed by the compulsory inculcation of faith? He charged that “religion has always hoped to practice upon the unformed and undefended minds of the young.”

Richard Dawkins wrote, “The great unmentionable evil at the center of our culture is monotheism”?

Scott Atran said, “Religious belief requires taking what is materially false to be true and what is materially true to be false” in a warped commitment to “factually impossible worlds.”

Richard Dawkins: “It is absolutely safe to say that if you meet somebody who claims not to believe in evolution, that person is ignorant, stupid or insane (or wicked, but I’d rather not consider that).”

Richard Lewontin says of education: “the problem is to get them to reject irrational and supernatural forces of the world, the demons that exist only in their imaginations, and to accept a social and intellectual apparatus, science, as the only begetter of truth.”

Carolyn Porco says, “Let’s teach our children from a very young age about the story of the universe and its incredible richness and beauty. It is already so much more glorious and awesome – and even comforting – than anything offered by any scripture or God concept I know.”

Woodrow Wilson – as president of Princeton and as an early progressive fascist – said, “Our problem is not merely to help the students to adjust themselves to world life… but to make them as unlike their fathers as we can.”

You don’t seem to be concerned about that indoctrination crap at all, you abject hypocrite.

Or you would be demanding that parents homeschool their children so we NEVER see government fascist indoctrination like this ever again:

Or how about government fascist indoctrination like this?

And more of that crap here and here and here.

And why is it wrong for a parent to “indoctrinate” his or her own child (I would probably restate that as “raise a child to have his or her parents’ values,” fwiw) but not wrong for a secular humanist state to indoctrinate other peoples’ children???

So I submit that YOU are all FOR indoctrinating kids – as long as they are brainwashed according to your atheist bigotry.
