Proof For All Time Of Unhinged Hypocrisy And Bias From The Pseudo-Journalist Class And The Rank-And-File Democrat

So this morning I’m looking through the crappy bird-cage-liner that passes itself off as the newspaper of record on the West Coast, just as I’ve been looking through the same bird-cage-liner every day since Trump announced his candidacy, let alone since he was elected.  And it’s just rabidly unhinged bias day after day after day.

Meanwhile, the same Democrat establishment and the same voters who literally swarmed Obama with fanatic worship when he was elected – who hysterically told anyone who didn’t take the Mark of the Obama that you were a racist, a hater, a traitor, fill in your own blank – rose up in a spirit of rabid, violent hatred against the President of the United States even before he took office.

There was an article about journalism and the “end of democracy” in the previous days’ sanctimonious hate-offering of all things Trump.  Under the title, “The vicious cycle that leads to the end of democracy,” I saw these words:

Does democracy require journalists and educators to strive for political balance? I’m hardly alone in thinking the answer is “yes.” But it also requires them to present the facts as they understand them — and when it is not possible to be factual and balanced at the same time, democratic institutions risk collapse.

Consider the problem abstractly. Democracy X is dominated by two parties, Y and Z. Party Y is committed to the truth of propositions A, B and C, while Party Z is committed to the falsity of A, B and C. Slowly the evidence mounts: A, B and C look very likely to be false. Observers in the media and experts in the education system begin to see this, but the evidence isn’t quite plain enough for non-experts, especially if those non-experts are aligned with Party Y and already committed to A, B and C.

Both psychological research and commonsense observation of the recent political situation (I think you’ll agree with this, whatever side you’re on) demonstrate the great human capacity to rationalize and justify what you want to believe. The evidence against A can be very substantial — compelling, even, from a neutral point of view — without convincing people who are emotionally invested in the truth of A.

The journalists and educators who live in X now face a dilemma. They can present both sides in a balanced way, or they can call the facts as they see them. Either choice threatens the basic institutions of democracy.

If they present balanced cases for and against A, B and C, they give equal time to the false and the true. They create the misleading impression that the matter is still in doubt, that opinion is divided, that it’s equally reasonable to believe either side. They thereby undermine and discredit their own assessment that A, B and C are very likely to be false. This is dangerous, since democracy depends on a well-educated, informed voting public, aware of the relevant facts.

In the long term, journalists and educators will likely turn against balance, because they care intensely about the facts in question and don’t wish to pretend that the evidence is unclear. They understand that they cannot routinely promote false equivalencies while retaining their integrity.

Schwittzoebel blathers on a little longer and then finally concludes,

This is all general and oversimplified. But it’s clear in the abstract and in the real world that knowledgeable people can be forced by the evidence to disproportionately favor one political party over another, creating a vicious cycle of bias and partisan alignment.

We might be entering this cycle in the United States. To fight against it, we must allow journalists, educators and researchers to speak freely. Political leaders and their supporters must not rush to the conclusion that experts who disagree with them — even systematically — are their enemies.

The first thing you need to understand is that, in the “abstract” presentation that he provides, he this “academic” firmly sides with the Democratic Party.  The Republican Party is “abstractly” Party Y – you know, the one that has every single one of its facts wrong because it’s dominated by stupid, ignorant, emotional people – whereas his Party Z is the Enlightened Party that knows all and is struggling to accommodate all of these stupid, vacuous, ignorant, clueless unwashed masses.

Eric Schwitzgebel fails throughout his piece to acknowledge on dirty little factoid, namely that 96 percent of journalists are progressive liberals who supported Hillary Clinton:

In all, people identified in federal campaign finance filings as journalists, reporters, news editors or television news anchors — as well as other donors known to be working in journalism — have combined to give more than $396,000 to the presidential campaigns of Clinton and Trump, according to a Center for Public Integrity analysis.

Nearly all of that money — more than 96 percent — has benefited Clinton: About 430 people who work in journalism have, through August, combined to give about $382,000 to the Democratic nominee, the Center for Public Integrity’s analysis indicates.

What about the academics?  Yeah, he fails to mention the same rabid bias in that group, also.

As an example, in 2012, 96 percent of Ivy League professors’ donations went to Obama.

Does such lightning of bias strike twice?  Yep:

Almost 100 percent of the 2016 presidential political donations made by top liberal arts professors went to Democratic candidates, with only one professor giving to a Republican candidate.

Forty-seven professors at the top 50 liberal arts colleges in the country, as ranked by U.S. News & World Report, have given to presidential campaigns, according to donations recorded in the third quarter by the Federal Election Commission and aggregated by Campus Reform, a conservative watchdog of higher education.

Of those 47 professors, Hamilton College History Professor Robert Paquette was the only one to give to a Republican — donating $150 to Carly Fiorina’s campaign.

The 46 other professors gave $20,875 to Democratic front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton and $8,417 to Vermont Sen. Bernard Sanders, the report said.

“I do believe these numbers give an accurate representation of the political leanings of faculty on most college campuses, especially allegedly elite liberal arts colleges like Hamilton College,” Mr. Paquette told Campus Reform. Mr. Paquette told the organization he was the “only out-of-closet conservative in a faculty of 200.”

And yeah, once again, the end result for academia was an overwhelming bias for Democrats and an overwhelming rabid bias against Republicans.

The truly frightening thing about Schwitzgebel’s “analysis” is that, for Schwitzgebel, this rabidly lopsided bias probably isn’t even a problem.  After all, he is telling us that journalists and academics HAVE to ultimately choose sides and “present facts as they understand them.”  They have to be able “to speak freely.”

And so they have a RIGHT and even a DUTY to be in Nazi goose-stepping fascist synchronized march toward one political ideology.

And if you are NOT in these elite classes of the Übermensch, you have the right to shut up and mindlessly follow.  Because, that is all they believe you are capable of doing.

In order for Schwitzgebel to have his utopian “democracy” where  we have “a well-educated, informed voting public, aware of the relevant facts,” we have only tow alternatives: the first is to put everyone who supports Party Y in a reeducation camp until they understand that the only acceptable reality is to accept the one presented by the journalists and the academics; and the second is to surgically “correct” the members of Party Y with a full frontal lobotomy and fit them with a drool-collecting prosthetic so that they can be led to the way, the truth and the life according to “the facts” as journalists and academics understand them.

I have to laugh at Eric.  Here is an example of what he claims to believe as the two abiding principles for his particular academic discipline:

I mean, gee whiz, Eric, “quality of argument”?  HOW ABOUT ANY DAMN ARGUMENT AT ALL???  “Creative vigor”?  I mean, what the hell, when nearly one-hundred percent of your ilk are all marching in lock-step for one side.  I mean, oh yeah, there’s just ALL KINDS of “creativity” going on in your ivy tower and your faculty lounge, isn’t there???

Eric, you are true to your liberal-progressive kind: you are a devout, abject moral hypocrite of the very lowest order.

There is not ONE example of objective, impartial journalism in the entire newspaper.  Rather, it is blatantly obvious that the policy of the Los Angeles Times is of echoing and amplifying ALL the criticisms from the unhinged left, while steadfastly refusing to so much as allow for mention ANYTHING that Trump may have done that could even conceivably be good.

Every single article is negative and unrelentingly critical.  For example, the “Police wary of new duty article” subtitled, “Trump’s order to use local units to enforce immigration laws elicits resistance by some L.A. officers” and then titled as it continues “New duties would ‘create a wedge'”: how likely is it that there are not “some L.A. officers” who are FOR this executive order and welcome it as good policy???  But the “some officers” who take the leftist side are the ONLY ones who get to count.  And to the extent that there is any nuance in the article itself, you don’t see anything but unrelenting anger and criticism in the headlines and subtitles that are what most people glance at as they pick up this biased piece of leftist propaganda.

And again, in the “BONDS MADE CLOSER” story: do you think it’s possible that someone with bad intentions might have been blocked?  But no, it’s going to be framed as sobbing mothers and hysterical children.  And that’s all that matters.  Which amounts to an entirely emotionalism-laded framing of this policy from a biased, slanted perspective while our philosophy professor Eric Schwitzgebe lambasts US as the “emotional” ones.

Do you want to see “emotional”???  How about Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer weeping and sobbing at just what a mean, bad, mean old man Donald Trump is???

Donald Trump’s response:

“Only 109 people out of 325,000 were detained and held for questioning,” he wrote. “Big problems at airports were caused by Delta computer outage, protesters and the tears of Senator Schumer.”

Have to admit I loved this meme:

PLEASE, lefties, PLEASE don’t give me this garbage crap about being “emotionally invested” coming from the right.

The media and academia pull this tactic all the damn time: let’s search and search and search until we can find some sympathetic victim that suits our narrative, and then follow the Saul Alinsky strategy: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”  And it is ALWAYS emotional and it is ALWAYS leftist.  But it’s marvelous when they do what they demonize us for doing.  Because to be a liberal progressive is to be an abject moral hypocrite incapable of shame or virtue or integrity or decency or honesty.

The “Trump’s powerful political duo” article where Trump advisors want to “reshape the country” forces me to remember when Obama said he was only days away from “fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”  But THAT was wonderful and greeted with cheers and adoration whereas what Trump is doing is utterly evil because somebody who isn’t a beloved liberal ideologue now wants to “reshape the country.”

How about the article on “Riled veterans”?  Does that title give you the suggestion that veterans voted for Trump by a 2-1 margin???  And literally are the ones who gave Trump his swing-state victories that propelled him to the White House???  How about the fact that for career-oriented troops that form the backbone of our nation’s military and our national security, the margin favoring Trump was THREE to one???

No, or to put it more accurately, HELL no: rather, to put it in Eric’s language, “they present the facts as they understand them.”  Or at least “the facts” that they CHOOSE in their BIAS to present.

“Thousands of protesters” are framed as HEROES.  Remember when the Tea Party was demonstrating?  Not ONE SINGLE arrest was EVER made of a tea party supporter – and in fact the ONLY arrests were of unhinged liberal progressives whose fascist souls were filled with hate and rage at the thought that free people had the freedom to demonstrate.  But the mainstream media demonized us like we were burning and looting and raping and rioting.  But then we had first the vile protests of the Occupy Movement where we had acts of terrorism, acts of rape, acts of mass vandalism; then we had Black Lives Matter chanting “Pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon” and “What do we want?”  Dead cops!”  When do we want it?”  “NOW!” which corresponded to an orgy of execution-style slayings of police officers.  And now we’ve got Democrats charged with RIOTING the day Donald Trump was inaugurated.  And the way the mainstream media depicts it it’s all so, so wonderful.

Such as when Democrats were using Nazi-style Brownshirt tactics to physically beat and terrorize Donald Trump supporters for the crime of participating in the 1st Amendment of our Constitution (see my articles documenting this here and here and here).

And you’re actually worried that the mainstream media that ignored the rise of the Nazi Party from within the Democrat Party isn’t being given enough respect, Eric???

Damn near very single story the mainstream media does emerges from the Saul Alinsky tactic: Pick a target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.  DAMN NEAR EVERY SINGLE TIME.

We have that Time Magazine White House pool correspondent who wrote a post slandering Donald Trump as a racist for removing the Martin Luther King, Jr. bust.  Why did he assume that?  Well, he glanced at where it was and didn’t see it.  Why didn’t he see it?  Didn’t matter to him at the time in his rabid, unhinged, fanatic desire to post it.  It turned out that a Secret Service agent was blocking his view.

Of course, you have to realize that at NO TIME EVER in the last eight years did ANY Secret Service agent EVER ONCE obstruct ANY reporter’s view of the MLK bust: or else we can safely assume that these unbiased purveyors of fact and truth would have immediately reported that Barack Obama had ordered the MLK bust removed.

Amazingly, Zeke Miller STILL has a job in spite of the fact that he just proved that Time Magazine is a nest of poisonous, fanged, venomous vipers who are NOTHING but biased propagandists trying to slander and pervert the truth to suit their ideology and political narrative to harm and undermine Donald Trump and every single voter who elected him president.

Kellyanne Conway is asking the question: when will these lie peddlers be FIRED for “presenting the facts as their slandering bias compels them to understand them????

You go back and look over the disgrace that journalists made of themselves as Donald Trump kept proving that all the crap they were “reporting” was “FAKE NEWS” from a biased perspective: Donald Trump couldn’t win the primary because he was too polarizing and too divisive; Donald Trump could never defeat Hillary Clinton because he was too polarizing and too divisive; Donald Trump was out of contention in all the swing states because he was too polarizing and too divisive.  And all our biased polls prove our foreordained biased conclusion justifying our biased narrative.

THIS is what it means to be a “journalist” today.  THIS is what it means to be an “academic” today.  And if you’re not one of these propagandists, good luck in finding a damn job with them or keeping a job if you already managed to sneak in.

If you are a “journalist” or an “academic” today, YOU ARE THE LIVING EMBODIMENT OF DISHONESTY AND DISGRACE.

On the academic side, what we see is outright psycho-terror for professors whose expertise and scientific analysis tell them that evolution as a “fact” is a load of crap; we see an avalanche in academia of intolerable denials of tenure, denials of promotion, denials of contract renewals, denials of earned degrees, denials of admission into graduate programs”, and other rabid discrimination against a substantial minority of credentialed scientists that disagrees with the prevailing dogmatism of the myth of evolution.

This is “science” to an evolutionist.  Consider the words from Nobel Laureate Dr. George Wald who concedes a great deal in this quote: “One only has to concede the magnitude of the task to concede the possibility of the spontaneous generation of a living organism is impossible.  Yet here we are—as a result, I believe, of spontaneous generation.”  Wald talks about billions of years and then concludes, “Given so much time, the ‘impossible’ becomes possible, the possible probable, and the probable virtually certain.”

This is NOT science, it is “magic.”  Billions of years are NOWHERE NEAR ENOUGH TIME for “the magic” of evolution to occur if you actually believe in legitimate science.

But “academia” is purging and destroying ANYONE no matter how credentialed or how accomplished that scientist might be who disagrees with “the acceptable narrative.”

And you want to talk about “creativity” and “arguments”???

We’re seeing the same rabid spirit of academic fascism on another front that we have seen for decades in the myth of godless evolution.

Dr. Judith Curry, a climatologist who had held the chair of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology, resigned in protest of the modern-day witch-hunt that has become academia today, saying, “A deciding factor was that I no longer know what to say to students and postdocs regarding how to navigate the CRAZINESS in the field of climate science. Research and other professional activities are professionally rewarded only if they are channeled in certain directions approved by a politicized academic establishment — funding, ease of getting your papers published, getting hired in prestigious positions, appointments to prestigious committees and boards, professional recognition, etc.”

Do you know what caused the end of the Old Egyptian Kingdom?  It wasn’t the Industrial Revolution, liberal progressive crazies.  It was “climate change” that had NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH ANTHROPOMORPHIC GLOBAL WARMING.  Do you know what caused the collapse of the Mayan Civilization?  It wasn’t SUVs, liberal progressive whackjobs.  It was “climate change” that had NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH ANTHROPOMORPHIC GLOBAL WARMING.  Because our climate just changes; it’s unstoppable.  It is a FACT of both science and logic that the hated Bogeyman of CO2 produces less than 0.1 percent of all global warming gases; just as it is a fact that nature creates thirty damn times the CO2 that human beings do.  The left, out of POLITICAL rather than SCIENTIFIC ideology, made CO2 (which is actually essential for life on planet earth) an earth-murdering poison and ignored all the other global warming gases such as water vapor which accounts for NINETY-FIVE PERCENT of global warming gases.  Or to put it another way, IT’S THE WATER VAPOR, NOT THE CO2, YOU DAMN FOOLS.

But what the hell; we’re Nazis and Stalinists masquerading as “scientists,” and so everything we say must surely be “scientific” no matter how UNSCIENTIFIC it clearly is.

Eric wants us to worship rabid leftist bias that is masqueraded as “science” and “journalism” as “fact.”

What we have in both fields is nothing short of intellectual STALINISM.

HERE is an example of a rabid, disgraced FOOL who is BOTH an “academic” AND a “journalist.”  And he disgraced himself on BOTH fronts.  Which is why he was given a Nobel Prize, I suppose.

You have discredited yourselves.  Nobody ought to listen to you who wants the truth or even anything vaguely resembling the truth.  Your “facts” “as you understand them” are carefully selected lies that pimp a false narrative.  You’ve done it over and over and over again.

The bottom line is this, Eric: where were YOU when Barack Obama announced the New Reality: “Elections have consequences, and at the end of the day, I won.”  Or to put the New Reality another way, “We don’t mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for a ride, but they gotta sit in back.”

WHERE was your outrage, Mr. Schwittzoebel, when Obama was imposing every manner of outrageous, polarizing executive orders and policies and spitting in the eyes of increasingly outraged and alienated Americans???

I wrote this prediction back in 2012:

Obama’s strategy is to set aside and flatly ignore the law for his own political benefit.  Every American who is not deeply troubled by that – troubled enough to not vote for this fascist – is UN-American.

What Obama has done is provide an example of out-and-out lawlessness on the part of the president of the United States.  And when we get a hard-core right wing president the way Obama has been a hard-core left wing president, Obama and the Democrat Party and all of those who voted for Obama and the Democrat Party will be entirely to blame for that president and his extremist actions.  You mark my words.  Because what goes around comes around, and if a Democrat can set aside the law the way Obama has now repeatedly done, well, guess who’s going to be stomping on your necks under your own president’s prior justification???  Conservatives are rising up in a spirit of righteous outrage.  You have repeatedly slapped us in the face through your messiah Obama, and the time is coming when we’re going to punch you hard in the nose and then keep on punching.  And when that day comes, liberals, look to yourselves for blame. — My words on June 18, 2012

If you want to get even with the people most responsible for the rise of Donald Trump, then hunt every Democrat who voted for Barack Obama down with dogs and burn them alive.  Because Donald Trump was the result of eight years of FASCISM.

So we get to Trump’s entirely LAWFUL order to limit immigrants and refugees from seven countries that were actually even on Obama’s list as dangerous sponsors of terrorism.  For eight years, Obama gave us lawless executive orders that he himself had previously labeled as the acts of a king, an emperor, arguing that they were unconstitutional and anti-democratic before then  issuing them anyway.  And Democrats smiled and laughed at the abandonment of our Constitution and the tossing out of our laws.

DON’T complain, Democrat: YOU INVITED THIS.  YOU DEMANDED THIS.  YOU GOT WHAT YOU GAVE US.

Further, these seven countries are notorious abusers of human rights against Christian minorities, against women, against homosexuals.  But that’s perfectly okay, isn’t it???

Obama has been nothing short of a total disaster for the Democratic Party.  He lost the White House.  He lost the House.  He lost the Senate.  He lost a giant number of governorships.  He lost a giant number of state houses.  He’s a disgrace.  And yet he is the liberal progressives’ god and the  only god with whom they will have to do.

If Democrats had ANY virtue or integrity whatsoever, they would say, “Elections have consequences, and at the end of the day, Trump won.”  They would say, “We Democrats can go for a ride with Donald Trump, but we gotta sit in back.”

The fact that you won’t abide by the rules of your own game that you created is the biggest crisis facing America today.

 

 

 

 

 

Professing Themselves To Be Wise, Liberal Democrats Became FOOLS

Today the DOW Industrial Average reached a milestone: it closed at over 20,000 points for the very first time in history.

Obama’s team of Federal Reserve officials decided to finally begin raising interest rates for the first time, citing “a strengthening economy.”

But please, allow me to provide you with a reminder of what Paul Krugman predicted the night that Donald Trump won.

Paul Krugman was given a Nobel Prize in economics – not for having any damn clue whatsoever about economics or markets or business or anything close to any of these, but for being a devout leftist who espoused progressive liberalism regardless of how insane progressive liberalism is or how many times it has failed.

It really does now look like President Donald J. Trump, and markets are plunging. When might we expect them to recover?

Frankly, I find it hard to care much, even though this is my specialty. The disaster for America and the world has so many aspects that the economic ramifications are way down my list of things to fear.

Still, I guess people want an answer: If the question is when markets will recover, a first-pass answer is never.

Under any circumstances, putting an irresponsible, ignorant man who takes his advice from all the wrong people in charge of the nation with the world’s most important economy would be very bad news. What makes it especially bad right now, however, is the fundamentally fragile state much of the world is still in, eight years after the great financial crisis.

It’s true that we’ve been adding jobs at a pretty good pace and are quite close to full employment. But we’ve been doing O.K. only thanks to extremely low interest rates. There’s nothing wrong with that per se. But what if something bad happens and the economy needs a boost? The Fed and its counterparts abroad basically have very little room for further rate cuts, and therefore very little ability to respond to adverse events.

Now comes the mother of all adverse effects — and what it brings with it is a regime that will be ignorant of economic policy and hostile to any effort to make it work. Effective fiscal support for the Fed? Not a chance. In fact, you can bet that the Fed will lose its independence, and be bullied by cranks.

So we are very probably looking at a global recession, with no end in sight. I suppose we could get lucky somehow. But on economics, as on everything else, a terrible thing has just happened.

For a few hours following the election as unhinged progressive liberals sold off everything as they dizzily raced circles around their houses hysterically screaming, “The sky is falling!  The sky is falling!”, Krugman was probably a very happy camper in his predictive prowess:

Futures markets imploded Tuesday night as soon as it became apparent Trump was likely to win. At their nadir, futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average had dropped 750 points.

But that didn’t last very long, as progressive liberals do not “reality” make:

Krugman’s forecast that the markets would “never” recover took just nine hours to be proven totally wrong. Come Wednesday morning, the fever had almost entirely broken in the U.S. Instead of dropping by 10 percent or more, as some predicted, the Dow, Nasdaq, and S&P 500 all rose by more than a percent. Later in the day, the Dow briefly surged above its all-time closing high, before ending the day just a few points below it. The Dow finished the day up about 257 points overall.

And yes, we just reached a brand new milestone as investors and businesses waited to see whether Donald Trump would actually do what he promised he would do.  And today, as he unleashed a sweeping series of executive orders undoing years of demonic stupidity, the clouds opened and the floodgates of confidence in the bedrock for a sound economy were unleashed.

Note that what carried the day was MANUFACTURING stocks.  Because to be a “Democrat” means to be at total war with blue-collar jobs and basically jobs in general.

Donald Trump declares that he is going to bring back American manufacturing from the dead that Barack Obama and the Democratic Party tried to destroy in their economic holocaust.  And investors who understand how business works believe that what Trump is saying will work.

What they DON’T believe is that a fool who was given a Nobel Prize because he’s like one of Hitler’s generals who believed the psychotic delusions of his Führer no matter how insane his demonic strategies clearly were.

Businesses and investors are reacting after Donald Trump began to put into motion the very things that the left is the very most BUTTHURT about, such as an executive order to begin building the wall; such as his executive order to direct his Cabinet to find ways to deny federal funds to states that allow sanctuary cities; such as an executive order to enact his “extreme vetting” of immigrants streaming in from terrorist-ridden countries.  They wanted to see if he would follow through on what he said he was going to do.  And they have decided – to the demonic butthurt of Democrats – that yeah, he WILL follow through with what he said he would do.

These things, recall, were predicted to bring about our very certain doom.

Paul Krugman is like the leftist climatologist who idiotically believes he or she can tell you that “anthropomorphic climate change” is a fact – even though the dumbass idiot can’t get two consecutive weather forecasts correct.  I live in the Palm Springs area where there is a mountain in the path of most of the incoming weather systems: I can’t TELL you how many times I’ve looked at the weather forecast which called for rain and there WAS no rain or which called for no rain and there WAS rain.  I have clicked on the forecast and seen it say 0% chance of precipitation – AS IT WAS RAINING!!!  Such people literally cannot tell you if it’s raining right now, but they can assure you with ontological certitude that they comprehend the cosmic totality of everything “climate.”

Point: you have to be the most arrogant fool in the world to be a progressive liberal.

Paul Krugman is mainstream journalism at its very finest and its very most intellectual and its very most objective.

Well, I finally deliberately turned the channel to MSNBC.  Which truly is a first.

Why would I waste my time, you ask?  Well, because I knew that they would be doing EXACTLY what they did and for once it struck me that their fool idiot blathering would be entertaining knowing that they just suffered the end of their world as their bubble-world popped.

Of course, had I watched this pathetic network over the last few months, I would have heard non-stop confident predictions from these wrongheaded frauds, and the only argument from the monolithic Stalinist channel would have been how big a majority Hillary Clinton would win by.

I mean, I was watching the talking heads on MSNBC for like five minutes, and they were reading selected quotes from their handpicked foreign leaders whose opinion means so much to them and predicted foreign policy disaster; they looked at the foreign markets and the futures market and predicted economic doom; they predicted war and defeat; they even mentioned Trump would squeeze the trigger of the nuclear arsenal and end all life on earth.  It was amazing.  Chicken Little says the sky is falling; he was melodramatic by comparison to the hysterical “professionals” at MSNBC.

I never thought in my entire life I would watch a conversation where CHRIS MATTHEWS would actually be “the voice of reason.”

Just realize that these people have been wrong every single time they have ever opened their mouths and some kind of noise came out.

Barack Obama’s entire presidential legacy will soon be flushed down the toilet like the disgusting lump of poop that it always was.  And his worshipers are putting on their sackcloth and casting ashes upon their heads.  This is the kind of thing that has all the hallmarks of comedic GOLD.

Hell, I ought to receive a Novel Prize for mocking insane fools like Paul Krugman.  I didn’t know that the moron was writing his own piece while I was writing mine, or I would have cited it the same way I cited what I had just watched coming from MSNBC.

But of course I’m not a progressive liberal, so I’m not utterly disconnected from reality.  I KNOW the fool powers that be possessed by Beelzebub as they are would NEVER give me or any conservative anything but scorn and derision and contempt and hate no matter how right we are and no matter how pathologically damnfool wrong they are.

A Critical Review Of The Martin Scorsese-Shūsaku Endō Movie ‘Silence’ From A Biblical Christian Perspective

Spoiler alert.  My primary examination of this film relates to the final 15 minutes or so.  If you intend to see this film and prefer to be surprised, stop reading right here.  And please feel free to come back and read this article when you’ve seen it.

I believe that every Christian who happens to view this film needs to understand what is very profoundly wrong with it.

The first thing you need to understand is that the movie “Silence” is NOT a true story.  It is NOT based on any events that actually occurred apart from the general historical fact that the Japanese intensely persecuted and martyred tens of thousands of Christians in the 17th century.  There is no record of the priests named Ferreira (played by Liam Neeson) or Rodrigues and Garupe (Andrew Garfield and Adam Driver).

The movie is based on a 1966 novel that emerges from the imagination of an author (Shusaku Endo).  It is NOT based on historical sources affirming the existence or the apostasy of priests either by the names of Ferreira and Rodrigues or by any other names.  For the record, I did not read the novel and after viewing the film have no intention to do so.

So the very first thing to realize is that you’re NOT watching something that actually happened; but rather things that an author and a film producer (Martin Scorsese) imagined to have happened.

The next thing to realize is that, from an artistic point of view, the movie was very well done.  It is beautifully filmed, wonderfully acted, and the story is intensely compelling.  Note, however, that I say that in the way that I would say that, from the same point of view, Leni Riefenstahl’s “Triumph of the Will,” which advanced Adolf Hitler as a Messiah figure in one of the great works of propaganda ever made, was also “very well done.”  As an example of that earlier propaganda film, “Triumph of the Will” begins masterfully from an artistic/propaganda perspective: Adolf Hitler’s airplane bringing Him to his people as he soars across the sky toward them, with the camera looking down at the ground below – and you see the shadow that looks like a cross.  And the visual message is inescapable: Adolf Hitler was sent by God to save his people; he is their messiah!  But it is a very different thing to be artistically beautiful and “true,” isn’t it?  I hope you can declare that with me.

That is how I ultimately view “Silence,” as a piece of propaganda that directly attacks Christian witness and the Christian spirit that is willing to suffer and even die for the sake of Jesus Christ (who suffered and died for us) and for the Gospel of the message of His cross.

A further thing you must understand is that it is simply impossible for me to divorce this film from our own current dark world, where more Christians are being persecuted and martyred than at any time in history.  In the Middle East, in Africa, frankly all over the world, Christians are suffering for their faith in Jesus Christ.  And why would there be no connection between Islamic State of today, for example, and the Japanese shogunates when in fact both tormenters had the identical same project and used the identical same vicious tactics?  The only possible difference is that the Japanese shogunate regime had a subtle plan to psychologically torture and subvert the priests, rather than merely solely relying on bloodbath tactics.

I submit to you that if you want to see a film about Jesus in which the hero/protagonist is Judas Iscariot, then this is the movie for you.  And I will support that claim later in this article.  But I offer here the fact that Rodrigues wonders repeatedly throughout the film what Jesus meant when He said to Judas who was about to betray Him, “What you are about to do, do quickly”  (John 13:27).  Rodrigues wondered how Jesus felt when He said this; was He angry?

The film begins with two priests (Rodrigues and Garupe) passionately arguing that they need to go to Japan to find out what happened to to a priest named Ferreira who had been their mentor and confessor.  Ferreira had been caught up in the persecution against Christians as the shogunate rulers who were attempting to unify the country and repel foreigners focused their attack against the Christianity they saw as foreign and therefore a malevolent influence on Japan’s sovereignty.  In eradicating Christianity, the Japanese regime believed it would eradicate foreign influence.  All the Catholic Church had from Ferreira was a letter detailing the horrifying persecutions that had been written years before and painstakingly smuggled to them.

Rodrigues and Garupe wanted to find Ferreira.  Or at least find out what had happened to him.  But the Church did not want them to go, informing the two priests that Ferreira had apostocized and betrayed his faith.

What is interesting – and became quite significant to me later as I watched the film – is that all the Church has to go on are unverified and unsubstantiated stories and rumors.  And the two priests passionately believed in the faith of Ferreira and demanded nothing less than certainty before allowing the true Christian faith of such a man to be denied.  This becomes important later as it exposes what  found to be a very hypocritical aspect to this film.

Against all advice, the two priests are determined to go, and go they do.  They are smuggled into Japan.  Their guide is a Japanese man named Kichijiro who at their first meeting is a drunk and a liar.  He denies being a Christian but the priests know that the fact that he speaks their language (which would have been Spanish), he must have been a Christian.  They travel to a remote landing site.  And there’s a terrifying moment as they are rowed to the shore as seemingly menacing hands reach out from the sea to grab them.  But these are Christians who are overjoyed that priests are finally among them again who literally swam out to meet them and couldn’t wait to touch these blessings from Christ.

None of the Japanese Christians has ever heard of Ferreira or knows what happened to him.  The priests are shocked at the horror of their suffering and awed by the glory of their incredible faith which has enabled them to endure even the unendurable.

The Japanese Christians at the first village they go to haven’t had a priest in years.  Which means – on the (deeply flawed in biblical terms) Catholic view, they had no Mass and no confession of sins.  They had endured by sheer faith and desperate allegiance to Christ.

The village of Christians are ultimate discovered as the “Inquisitor” comes to their village.  Rodrigues continues to another village where there are Christians while Garupe remains to minister to the first flock.  Kichijiro serves as Rodrigues’ guide.  And Rodrigues learns the story of Kichijiro: he had professed faith in Christ, but had aposticized (stepped on the face of Jesus and His apostles in a plaque detailing the Last Supper that is placed on the ground) even though the rest of his family refuses.  He fled, but had lingered to watch them all be burned alive.  He says the smell is still in his nostrils.

And can he be forgiven for his apostasy?  Rodrigues hears his confession and grants him absolution.  And ultimately it emerges in the film as he has to keep doing so, he does it mechanically, because its his job to hear confession and mouth the words of absolution.

But ultimately apostocizes again.  And again and again and again.  Oh, and betrays Rodrigues for a reward of 300 pieces of silver in the middle of all of his other apostasies.  Rodrigues comes to realize what a truly miserable and despicable wretch Kichijiro is.  Kichijiro has a habit of continuing to apostacize while other Christians remain firm to the death, and then come crawling back, only to keep betraying the faith over and over and over again.  Again, Rodrigues’ insight into Kichijiro’s loathsome character becomes significant to me as I continued watching the film.

Rodrigues is betrayed and delivered into the hands of the Inquistor – by Kichijiro, of course – and the Japanese authorities begin to work to undermine the priest so that he will apostacize.

The Japanese have learned that the best strategy to undermine the faith of the priests is not to torture them, but rather to torture their converts and declare that the priests are responsible for these poor people’s suffering and the can stop it at any time just by apostocizing and stepping on Jesus’ face.  So Rogrigues, kept alone in a cage, is treated quite well while the Japanese Christians suffer. Rodrigues is given only enough time with the Japanese Christians to feel responsible for them; not enough to encourage/exhort them to stand up for their faith in Christ.

This tactic does not initially seem to work.  But the Japanese authorities throw Rodrigues a shock surprise.  They lead a group of captured Christians toward where Rodrigues is being held – and at the head of the procession is his fellow priest Garupe.  Rodrigues’ interrogator informs him that they have told Garupe that Rodrigues had apostocized.  And then they proceed with their torture/execution: the bound Christians are inserted into a wicker sheeth (to weigh them down as the water saturates) and tossed into the water and held down with oars to complete their drowning.

Garupe sees this, and even though bound, rushes into the water to save the Christians.  He reaches one – a girl we got to know in the film named Monica – and tries to lift her up even as the Japanese use their oars to hold her down.  The oars never touch Garupe, but he will not let go of the girl and drowns with her.  While Rodrigues screams in anguish, knowing his heroic friend died believing he had apostacized.  It is ironic that the heroic Christian Garupe’s belief would ultimately later be proven to be true.  Because while we don’t know it at the moment, Rodrigues WOULD apostacize just as the Japanese told Garupe that he had done.

But that isn’t all the tricks the Japanese shogunates have.  They also have one more priest – and this is the one that is utterly devastating to Rodrigues.

It is the priest Ferreira.  And the unsubstantiated rumors the Church authorities had received were in fact true: Ferreira truly had apostacized and become a Buddhist monk and had been living with them for years.  And Ferreira had completely denied the faith that he had gone to Japan to instill in so many others.  He was a leader who had utterly betrayed his own conscience, his own teaching and all of his followers who had believed his message.

Ferreira’s attack on Christianity, on the faith of the Japanese Christians who had perished by the tens of thousands for their faith, and on Rodrigues is devastating where the efforts to undermine on the part of the shogunates had merely been anguishing.

Rodrigues claims that the Japanes word for “God” is the word for the sun.  He claims that the Japanese don’t even understand Christianity, that the faith that they are dying for is NOT the true Christian faith.

He argues – as the shogunate Inquisitor had argued – that Japan is a country and a race of people that is comparable to a swamp, where nothing grows.  And that true Christian faith is impossible to them.  The Inquisitor had declared this and Rodrigues had responded by first saying the words, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15).  Which obviously included Japan and the Japanese unless Jesus, the gloriously risen Son of the Living God was profoundly mistaken.  Rodrigues had also pointed out the obvious fact that hundreds of thousands of Japanese had believed; and it wasn’t that Japanese couldn’t believe, but that the shogunates were poisoning the field.  That alone was preventing the spread of the Gospel.  And Rodrigues also pointed out that as a simple matter of logic, something cannot be “true” and “false” at the same time.  The “truth” HAD to be true in all cases and in all places.  As an example (this from me, not from Rodrigues in the film), can one reasonably argue that it is okay for one culture to torture and murder infants for fun but wrong for another one?  No!  A universal truth is universally true by its very nature.  All three of these points were simple statements of fact.

But the heretic and apostate priest Ferreira now claims that none of the Japanese had truly believed the Gospel.  The heretic priest knows BETTER than Jesus, the Christ whom he had betrayed.  The Japanese people were just worshiping the sun above them; no Japanese person was created in the image of God; they were merely animals (“swamp creatures”) who could not be saved.  And they were being slaughtered in vain, rather than for any legitimate faith.

I call that one an “unsubstantiated rumor.”  Because at no point in the film had there EVER been ANY reason to believe that the devout Christians who were tortured and died for their faith didn’t have “true faith.”  In fact, at many points in the film, Rodrigues acknowledges being AMAZED by their faith.

And so now I take this to the direct comparison I began above to the Islamic world: what is the Arabic word for “God”?  It is “ALLAH.”  And so what word do Arab Christians use to refer to the God of the Bible?  Allah.  Does the fact that Arabic Christians use the only word their language gives them for “God” mean that there can be no such thing as an Arabic Christian, because if nothing can grow in Japan, then surely we can see today that nothing can possibly grow in the Middle East???

This amounts to outright racist blasphemy and the denial of the Imago Dei that is innate in all humanity.  Jesus told us to preach the Gospel “to every creature.”  1 Timothy 2:3-4 declares, “This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.”

For me, this is a place where the integrity of the film utterly breaks down.  Because what is previously affirmed is denied without reason or cause.  But nevertheless, the movie character Rodrigues has been undermined to believe the lie.

Then Ferreira rebukes Rodrigues, telling Rodrigues that he had continually compared himself and his suffering to Jesus – and that the Japanese Christians would NEVER do that.  I believe that this rebuke was valid, indeed: and I ask who do you believe is more right?  The Japanese Christians who suffered and died for their faith while refusing to compare themselves to Jesus, or the priests who betrayed that faith even as they pridefully compared themselves to their faith’s Ultimate Paradigm?  That is an incredibly telling dialogue, because it reveals the ultimate character flaw of both Ferreira and Rodrigues: they never lost their human pride, their vanity.

The Word of God declares, “Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall” (Proverbs 16:18).  But these priests – I submit according to their Jesuit training – were FILLED with pride and a haughty spirit.  Who was the Savior of the Japanese Christians?  And for the priests Ferreira and Rodrigues, the subconscious response would have been, “I am.”  But that isn’t true.  And as Rodrigues rightly pointed out in a previous dialogue, the Japanese Christians were NOT dying for him, but for Jesus and for their faith in the grace of the One who had suffered and died for them.

Ultimately, they cherished their vanity/pride above their faith in Jesus.

When you consider Catholic doctrine, it is too easy to see who easy it is for this to become internalized: who can perform the Mass?  ONLY a priest, because ONLY a priest has the magic power to miraculously transform the wafer and the wine into the actual, physical Body and Blood of Jesus.  There is ABSOLUTE NO PLACE in the Word of God where this twisted doctrine is taught.  It is an arrogant, prideful doctrine that creates arrogant, prideful priests.  And similarly, who alone can take confession, which is a necessary rite?  Any Christian, which the Bible declares?  1 Peter 2:5 declares that EVERY Christian believer is a living stone, being built into a spiritual house (temple) for a HOLY PRIESTHOOD through Jesus Christ.  1 Peter 2:9 declares that EVERY Christian belongs to “a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that we may proclaim the excellence of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.”  Revelation echoes this theme, declaring that Christ has loved us and freed us from our sins by His blood and made us a kingdom of PRIESTS (Rev 1:6, see also Rev 5:10); and James 5:16 commands us to “confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.”  There is NO biblical New Testament doctrine whatsoever requiring ordained priests for this.  This is nothing more than an organization, a bureaucracy, seeking to impose its control for its own sake.  And what we end up with on the Jesuit view is an ordained priesthood that is ontologically superior.  There are Christians, who are nothing and have no spiritual powers; and there are the Catholic Übermensch (to put it in  Nietzschean terminology) who stand above the rest of us and possess powers that only they alone of all men can possess.  And they possess it not by their personal spirituality and piety, but rather by declarative fiat of their organization.

So, ultimately, “Silence” is a fictional piece set in a terribly real time describing the fictional story of what could have happened as the cunning shogunates undermined the Jesuit priests by constantly appealing to their pride, their arrogance, their vanity, which had been instilled in them by their own Jesuit doctrines.

Whose job was it to save the Japanese Christians?  Why, it was Rodrigues’ job, of course.  Not God’s.  And Rodrigues could only do his job by stepping on the face of Jesus.

This arrogance is NOT merely incipient in Jesuits, or Catholics; it is also incipient for all those liberal Christians whose “Gospel” message is a SOCIAL gospel of providing for material needs and avoiding the REAL need of people for Jesus.  Man’s ultimate dilemma isn’t sin resulting in spiritual death and ultimate hell, it’s something physical.  When Jesus declared Himself to be the Bread of Life, and that he who comes to Him would never hunger, and that he whe believes in Him would never thirst (John 6:35), He was very clearly contrasting Himself with the physical and focusing on the spiritual.  That same Jesus later said in the same Gospel, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.”

Because our physical lives are not the end-all; because death is not the end.  Because Jesus made a new Kingdom possible for us to inherit.  If we but have the faith to pursue it.

This message, “Abandon your faith, and you shall be saved” is utterly twisted.  But it is the ultimate message of this film.

At the last, the movie the very title of the movie “Silence” betrays its fundamental and inherent hypocrisy again: God wasn’t “silent”; He had merely waited to speak until the right moment just before the ultimate decision to betray Him.  Jesus had been “silent” all along until the very end when He speaks to Rodrigues just before the priest apostacizes and denies Jesus by stepping on His face.  Jesus says to Rodrigues, “Go ahead, step on My face.”  The way He had previously said the words to Judas that had been so mystifying to Rodrigues, “What you are about to do, do quickly.”

 

It is easy to understand, from a purely and merely human point of view, why the man or woman who is not truly a member of the Kingdom of heaven would be shocked and appalled by martydom.  All you have to do is one simple little thing, “a formality,” one of the Japanese shogunates had called it.  In the first century – while the New Testament was still being written – all Christians had to do to appease their Roman emperors was to burn incence to Caesar and declare, “Caesar is lord.”  And they would not do it and died by the hundreds of thousands for their faith.

Jesus said, “whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven” (Matthew 10:33).

That is the factual record of Christian martydom throughout history.  The Book of Hebrews in the greatest passage on faith, contrast the victory of faith with the suffering of faith and to the latter declares, “But others were tortured, refusing to turn from God in order to be set free. They placed their hope in a better life after the resurrection.  Some were jeered at, and their backs were cut open with whips. Others were chained in prisons.  Some died by stoning, some were sawed in half, and others were killed with the sword. Some went about wearing skins of sheep and goats, destitute and oppressed and mistreated.  They were too good for this world, wandering over deserts and mountains, hiding in caves and holes in the ground.  All these people earned a good reputation because of their faith, yet none of them received all that God had promised.  For God had something better in mind for us, so that they would not reach perfection without us” (Heb 11:35b-40).

I submit to you that, however imperfectly the Japanese Christian martyrs understood Christianity – primarily as a result of very imperfect Jesuit dogma – they were truly saved. There is NEVER any evidence offered to the contrary in the film apart from the word for God being the word for “the sun.”

But the twisted, warped, perverted message of this film is, “Step on the face of Jesus and deny Him.  That’s what our Lord who died for us likes.”  It is the message for people who purely live in this world, and whose reward is solely in this world, who offer that as “reasonable.”  This world is all we have; and so the “righteous” must cling to this world.

In my final words, I will try to answer the question, “Can a Christian who renounces his or her faith under duress still go to heaven?”  And I would submit to you yes.  For example Peter denied Jesus not once, not twice, but three times (a record that Kichijiro broke in this film).  And St. Peter was restored by Jesus.  Did that mean that denying Jesus was the right thing to do?  If you have ANY spiritual or even literary understanding whatsoever, you cannot possibly answer “yes” to that question.  Which is what makes this movie that is so well filmed and acted and narrated so ultimately irrational and so disappointing.

I submit that there are heroic Christians who STAND for their faith in the Jesus who suffered and died for them and they are REWARDED for their sacrifice in the place where they stored up their treasures – in heaven (called “Paradise” in the film by the Japanese who remembered what Jesus said to the thief on the cross who asked Jesus to remember Him in His Kingdom: “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:39).  But that there are and always have been Christians who are more fleshly and weak.  1 Corinthians 3:15 talks about such Christians and their works in these terms: “If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved–even though only as one escaping through the flames.”  Just as on a professional sports team you have your highly paid stars who by their talent and skill dominate the game; you have your more average workhorse players who fill their roles; and you have your benchwarmers who will never see gametime unless somebody gets hurt; so also you have great Christians who do great things and will receive great reward in heaven, you see more average Christians who serve as best as they are able, and you have your occasional pew fillers who do little else.  But then, on the spiritual side, there are also those who professed allegiance to Jesus but were never truly saved, who will one day stand before Him and point to their works (Matthew 7:22); and Jesus will say to them, “I never knew you. Away from Me, you evildoers!” (Matt 7:23).

Again, Jesus said, “whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven” (Matthew 10:33).  “Silence” actually twists disowning and denying Christ into a VIRTUE.  And you have to decide for yourselves who your source of authority and reality is: Jesus, the divine Son of God who was born and “came into the world to testify to the truth” (John 18:37), or a fictional account testified by heretical, apostate priests.

This movie is based on historical fiction and it is based on spiritual deception.  Our faith ought to be in our ultimate destination, and the reward that those who truly know Jesus will receive there.  It should not be on avoiding the consequences of living for that ultiamte destination by denying the One who saved us.

I watched the end of the film and how Rodrigues and Ferreira acted and lived in the aftermath of their apostasy with interest.  At one point, Ferreira uses the words “our Lord,” and Rodrigues catches him doing it.  And Ferreira merely denies it, saying, “I doubt [that I said] it.”  And therein is this secretive, gutless “faith” that we are left with – a hollow faith that neither produces anything or means anything” – in stark contrast to what first John the Baptist (Luke 3:9) and later Jesus proclaimed that “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire” (Matthew 7:19).

It’s virtually impossible to maintain that Ferreira and Rodrigues “produced good fruit” as they literally collaborated with the persecutors and torturers of Jesus Christ’s Body on earth and conspired with them to stamp out Christianity in Japan.  And just as Ferreira’s apostasy had destroyed Rodrigues, so also Rodrigues’ apostasy destroyed the Japanese Christian movement.  In the 2nd century – after a century of intense persecution during which the Christian church GREW – Tertullian summed it up this way, saying, “The Blood of martyrs is the seed of the Church.”  The meaning is clear: that the martyrs’ willing sacrifice of their lives leads to the conversion of others.  But what happens if the shepherds abandon and betray their flocks?

Jesus taught His disciples that “whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow Me” (Matthew 16:24).  And neither Ferreira or Rodrigues turned out to be Jesus’ disciples, denied themselves, took up their cross – (literally the instruments of their own death sentences) – or followed their Lord in His example.  Instead, they accepted His invitation to abandon Him, just as Judas Iscariot had accepted Jesus’ invitation to do what he was going to do quickly.

Ferreira says “our Lord” and then immediately takes it back.  Kichijiro is caught right after stepping on Jesus’ face for like the thousandth time with a Christian amulet around his neck that he tries to deny but is taken away presumably to his execution for possessing.  And only at his death – after a life of one denial of Jesus after another after another – we see in Rodrigues’ cold dead hands a little cross like one he had earlier formed for the Japanese to have some physical token of the faith they were suffering and dying for.  But Rodrigues would never suffer, and he would die of old age no different in outward appearance from every other Buddhist in Japan aside from his race.

Rodrigues, in particular, continued to live, but only as a hollow shell of a man.  There is no joy in apostasy.  And there ARE things worse than death.

The message that, “No matter how many times you deny Jesus and refuse to live for Him or take a stand for Him in any way, any shape or any form, you can still have it all” rings as hollow in the movie as it does according to what Jesus taught and what the remainder of the New Testament affirmed.

So the ultimate question is, what was the motivation behind this film?  And I submit that it was good intentions even as the road to hell is PAVED with “good intentions.”  As I wrote in my introductory remarks, I cannot believe this film emerged out of a vacuum.  Rather, it is apparent to me that Martin Scorsese very likely was justifiably appalled by the fact that Christians are without any question THE most persecuted and martyred group of people on earth today.  And something in him reacted to that awful reality.  But just because I am reacting to something awful doesn’t make my reactions good or noble – I may overreact and make a bad problem worse; I may react by imposing the wrong solution that only disheartens the oppressed and persecuted.

And it is certainly that latter course that Scorsese chooses.  He reacts as a secular humanist, for whom this world is all there is.  He cannot see the Kingdom of Heaven; he has no idea what happens on the other side of life.  And so he seeks to alleviate the immediate suffering by trying to impose his solution: just step on the face of Jesus and deny Him; just live a life identical to the rest of the world so no one can notice the salt and light of your Christian witness (but see Matthew 5:13-16).  And if a tiny little crucifix is inserted into your hands after you die of old age as others suffer and die in testimony to their Lord and to their faith in their Lord, surely that is enough.  And no, it’s not.  Scorsese’s is a dreadful solution that leads nowhere but spiritual death.

Even in Scorsese’s own narration, apostasy won’t do you any good.  According to the Japanese torturers, the Japanese Christians had ALREADY apostacized.  And yet it didn’t matter: they were still being tortured.  And the point is, if you’re going to be tortured and murdered and martyred anyway, WHY NOT AT LEAST STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE?  And just as the Japanese didn’t care whether Christians apostacized or not, does anyone today actually believe that Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) cares?  As far as they are concerned, people are “Christians” just because they happen to be U.S. Citizens; they will gleefully behead militant atheists for being “Christians.”  There is ultimately simply no reason not to follow your Lord, follow His example, and STAND.

Returning to the obvious parallel of Arab Christians suffering and dying in the bloodbath of whatever territory Islamic State controls, can you imagine how devastating and disheartening it would be for these heroic, persecuted Christians to be told by Western elitists that they are using the word “Allah” for “God” and therefore they as Arabs cannot comprehend God or Christianity and are merely dying like stupid animals rather than as Christian saints?  That is ultimately evil, not helpful.

The missionary movement to Japan produced over 400,000 Christians in the 17th century.  And yet today Japan is one of the LEAST Christian nations on the face of the earth.  And to whatever extent the movie “Silence” reveals any truth whatsoever, it would be that when Christians begin denying their faith – particularly when they are LED to deny their faith following the very example of their shepherds whom their Catholic theology taught them stands in the place of Christ Himself – it becomes easy to understand even within the logic of the film why Japanese soil was so spiritually poisoned.

While hundreds of thousands of people participated in Women’s Marches around the world on Saturday, many celebrities showed up as well, joining in with those protesting President Trump’s controversial campaign and election, particularly his treatment of women. The long list of stars included Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Amy Poehler, Lena Dunham and many more; celebs including Madonna and Alicia Keys made speeches and performed in Washington.

Some A-listers didn’t attend the march, but tweeted support. Pop star Taylor Swift, for example, wrote this:

There are two elements to the criticism. It’s clear that many were interested in her views: “Who is Taylor Swift voting for?” was a popular Google search term last fall.

Swift has always remained mum about her political leanings. “I don’t talk about politics because it might influence other people. And I don’t think that I know enough yet in life to be telling people who to vote for,” she told Time magazine in 2012. Yet her wide-ranging influence is exactly why people wanted her to speak up this past election about Trump’s attitude toward women, given that Swift has become an outspoken advocate for feminism. NOT rabidly ENOUGH, snarl the leftists.  NOT with enough ANGER or enough HATE or enough VIOLENCE.

It’s not ENOUGH with leftists to offer verbal support for one of their Nazi rallies; no, you’ve got to personally swear a blood oath of allegiance to the death to the Führer.  THAT’S now what it means to be a “Democrat” today.

The women who attended that hate rally in Washington D.C. – and just imagine if that many Republicans had organized to gather in our nation’s capitol to demonstrate their hatred and contempt for Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton, and how the Joseph Goebbels-style Ministry of Propaganda that is our leftwing mainstream media would have covered that gathering of conservatives – did NOT represent “women.”  Not one woman I know was at that event; and furthermore not one woman I know, including numerous Hispanic women, fwiw, would have gone to that pro-infanticide witch conclave at the point of a loaded rifle with a bayonet attached.

I could start blathering that I speak for all humanity, or I speak for all American men, or whatever, and if I did that I would be fit to be dragged away and fit with a jacket that featured sleeves that tie behind my back before being deposited in a rubber room.  The ONLY person right now who has anything CLOSE to the mandate to speak for all Americans is the man who just got inaugurated president – which Democrats told us every single day of the Obama presidency.

But what we are seeing now is the full demonic spirit of the Democrat Hypocrite Machine on full display: again, you tell ME how the leftist mainstream media, the Democrat Party, the supporters of the Democrat Party in general, would have reacted to a violent RIOT with 230 people arrested most of whom would face felony rioting charges:

But those requests have been spurned, creating a bitter rift among women’s organizations, and raising thorny questions about what it means to be a feminist in 2017.

“If you want to come to the march you are coming with the understanding that you respect a woman’s right to choose,” Linda Sarsour, a Brooklyn-born Palestinian-American Muslim racial justice and civil-rights activist, and one of four co-chairwomen of the march, said in an interview on Tuesday.

Oh, yeah.  Sounds like all women were invited to celebrate womankind to me.  As long as “womankind” is defined as far leftist radical rabidly intolerant fascists, anyway.

This march that hypocritically and dishonestly framed itself as “inclusive” BANNED women who believe that women in the womb deserve rights, too.

Hernandez said that the group of around 50 people she was marching with were harassed because of the signs they were carrying which said “Abortion betrays women.

“I did not feel safe at all,” Hernandez continued. She added that the unexpectedly large turnout for the march made it “so overwhelming.”

“One of our girls was spit at, someone tore my sign in multiple pieces, we had people just yell at us but the main response was people just said ‘my body my choice’ when they walked past us,” said Reagan Barklage, the Western regional director for the group.

Again, just imagine if conservatives had rallied huge numbers of violent people to swear they would burn the White House to the ground before they would allow Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton to be their president and had physically assaulted and spat at groups supporting leftist causes would have been depicted in the mainstream media.

I have a feeling such a march would not have been framed so nicely.

Again, IF you are a Democrat, you are a hypocrite without decency, without virtue, without honesty and without honor of any kind.  If you are a Democrat, you are the moral equivalent of a roach.

It’s beyond laughable how the left tries to frame Donald Trump with Adolf Hitler.  But here’s what the actual Nazi Germany looked like as it was exterminating an entire population of people in 1/10th as murderous of a manner as modern-day Democrats:

Sorry, Taylor Swift.  Your crime was that you didn’t raise your hand quite high enough and scream your “Heil Hitler!” loud enough.

Democrats have no respect for people who support Donald Trump, no respect for people who did not support Hillary Clinton, no respect for people who didn’t or will not publicly hate Donald Trump or support the right to murder babies loudly or demonically enough for their taste.

I personally started out opposing Donald Trump.  And you can see what I said and why I said it here.  I was literally questioning if I could in my own conscience vote this man or in any way, shape or form support his candidacy.

But Hillary Clinton and her roach-army of Democratic Party supporters proved to be so beneath VILE that I realized that in this election, this binary choice between one of two candidates who would be our next president, that I had to support awful in order to avert EVIL.  It was as simple of a choice as this: given the “choice” between having my right arm chopped off or all four of my limbs chopped off, and rightly believing that one of those two “choices” was going to happen whether I liked it or not, I would choose to have my right arm chopped off.

I’ve pointed out more than once that I actually PREDICTED the rise of a candidate like Donald Trump and accurately explained the reasons why there would be so much anger in response to the truly fascist Barack Obama presidency:

Obama’s strategy is to set aside and flatly ignore the law for his own political benefit.  Every American who is not deeply troubled by that – troubled enough to not vote for this fascist – is UN-American.

What Obama has done is provide an example of out-and-out lawlessness on the part of the president of the United States.  And when we get a hard-core right wing president the way Obama has been a hard-core left wing president, Obama and the Democrat Party and all of those who voted for Obama and the Democrat Party will be entirely to blame for that president and his extremist actions.  You mark my words.  Because what goes around comes around, and if a Democrat can set aside the law the way Obama has now repeatedly done, well, guess who’s going to be stomping on your necks under your own president’s prior justification???  Conservatives are rising up in a spirit of righteous outrage.  You have repeatedly slapped us in the face through your messiah Obama, and the time is coming when we’re going to punch you hard in the nose and then keep on punching.  And when that day comes, liberals, look to yourselves for blame. — My words on June 18, 2012

Obama said: “I do have an obligation to make sure that I am following some of the rules,” Obama said in October 2010. “I can’t simply ignore laws that are out there. I’ve got to work to make sure that they are changed.”

The Republican response was: “What incentive do we have to work with him?” complained one Republican Senate aide. “He is just doing whatever he wants. It doesn’t matter what the country wants.”

“Some of the rules.”  Well, as the angriest black leftists say, “That’s mighty white of you” – to selectively and arbitrarily follow ONLY the laws that you like while ignoring all the ones you don’t.

For eight, miserable years Obama URINATED in the eyes of tens of millions of the American people after hypocritically and dishonestly running on a platform of unity and saying there were no red states and blue states but only the United States.  And he did it so often that in the end he turned firmly blue states Republican RED.  Hillary Clinton won fewer than 500 counties; Donald Trump won more than 2,600 counties; and Donald Trump won 209 counties that had voted for Barack Obama.  Obama began his fascist presidency with a FILIBUSTER-proof Senate majority and an overwhelming superiority in the House of Representatives.  He started with a majority of the state governorships, a majority of the state legislatures.  And he pissed them all away.  And THIS is what the nation looks like today as a result of Obama and his policies:

And it’s beyond obvious that they are going to get worse and worse.  Because the Democratic Party is the Proto-Party for the Coming Antichrist.

Democrats are becoming more hysterical, more angry, more rabid, more hateful and more violent by the day, if not by the hour as the political party of sociopathy becomes increasingly psychotic.

 

The Legacy Of Barack Obama And The Democrat Party Can Be Summed Up In Four Words: ‘President Donald John Trump’

When Barack Obama was inaugurated as our 44th president of the United States – an event not one Republican boycotted, fwiw – there was the great inspirational sense that this nation had finally in his election soared past its most sorrowful history: the history of racial inequality.  Many Americans who didn’t even agree with Obama’s policies were swept up in this inspiration.

I myself didn’t vote for Obama because I believe that a president ought to be judged by the content of his character rather than by the color of his skin.  And while I would and will vote for any candidate – regardless of race or gender – who upholds sacred values, Barack Obama has NEVER upheld sacred values either before or following his election.

Still, there was no denying that Obama’s presidency – the presidency of the first black president – held great promise and great potential.

And Obama proceeded to piss that promise and that potential away with personal- and policy-pettiness.

And so eight years later, the great day of the election of the nation’s first black president was eclipsed by the even greater day when Obama crawled into “Executive One” – so named because it carried Obama rather than our PRESIDENT – and flew off to the roach motel of his choice.

What is Obama’s legacy?  I’ll sum it up for you in a few of Obama’s very own words:

There was the abject, demonic hypocrisy in Obama’s campaigning:

“The problem is, is that the way Bush has done it over the last eight years is to take out a credit card from the Bank of China in the name of our children, driving up our national debt from $5 trillion for the first 42 presidents – #43 added $4 trillion by his lonesome, so that we now have over $9 trillion of debt that we are going to have to pay back — $30,000 for every man, woman and child. That’s irresponsible. It’s unpatriotic.” — Barack Hussein Obama in 2008, campaigning in Fargo, North Dakota.

And look at what this fool-in-chief has created since: TWICE AS MUCH DEBT AS THE MAN HE VICIOUSLY DEMONIZED AND SLANDERED.  Obama himself pointed out Bush’s debt was $4 trillion; what is YOURS, fool?  It was $10.626 trillion when Obama took office; it’s 19.961 trillion as I write this.  And oh my gosh, I’ve got a calculator and I’m not afraid to prove what a LYING DISGRACE you are.  Because the difference is $9.335 trillion and you MORE THAN DOUBLED the debt of the president you mocked and slandered.

How about this one after Obama got his hypocrite. lying weasel ass into office by his lies:

Amen, Democrats.  And now you get to live the bitter reality of your own sentiments.  Because Democrat, elections have consequences, you said.  And at the end of the day, you won, you said.  And now that shoe is on the other foot but you’re butthurt hypocrite fascists rather than decent human beings.

Those were terrible, dark, EVIL, vile words coming from a man who had presented himself as the living embodiment of the repudiation of “back of the bus.”  Instead, the man who represented himself as “there are no red states and blue states, just the United States” became the most bitterly partisan and polarizing president in our nation’s entire history.

And then there are something on the order of two dozen Obama statements like these that he subsequently profoundly violated:

• “I take the Constitution very seriously. The biggest problems that we’re facing right now have to do with [the president] trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all. And that’s what I intend to reverse when I’m President of the United States of America.” (3/31/08)

• “I swore an oath to uphold the laws on the books …. Now, I know some people want me to bypass Congress and change the laws on my own. Believe me, the idea of doing things on my own is very tempting. I promise you. Not just on immigration reform. But that’s not how our system works. That’s not how our democracy functions. Barack Obama proved that ultimately he is the hypocrite in chief and violated the essence and spirit of his hypocrite repudiations of his office as that of a king, an emperor, a leader of a constitutional republic featuring the clear and deliberate separation of powers, an anti-democrat violating the functions of legitimate democracy.

How about this trip down memory lane during the debates between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama in 2011 as Obama mocked Romney’s statement that Russia was America’s greatest geopolitical threat:

“… a few months ago when you were asked what is the biggest geopolitical group facing America, you said Russia — not al-Qaeda. And the 1980’s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back — because the Cold War has been over for 20 years.”

What exactly are you fool, cockroach Democrats saying now in the light of your accusations that Russia just hacked our elections and we have an “illegitimate president” as a consequence of our worst geopolitical threat???

The only argument is whether the “D” in Democrat stands for “Disgrace” or “Demonic.”

I quoted “civil rights hero” John Lewis for that “illegitimate president” crap.  And I’ll come back to the Demonic Disgrace that is Rep. John Lewis later.

How about this foreign policy gem when a reporter on January 7, 2014, specifically referenced events clearly referring to ISIS:

Obama responded: “The analogy we use around here sometimes, and I think is accurate, is if a jayvee team puts on Lakers uniforms that doesn’t make them Kobe Bryant.” (For the nonsports fan, JV stands for junior varsity, and it usually means a high school or college’s secondary team.)

Obama in that interview not only proved he is a fool, but a LYING fool, according to Politifact.

Barack Obama is more to blame for the rise of Islamic State than any human being alive or dead.

And Barack Obama, BECAUSE HE IS A FOOL, became responsible for – get this – a one-thousand, nine-hundred percent increase in murders by radical Islamic terrorism.

The Middle East – you know, home of what Obama calls “the world’s most tolerant religion” – has degenerated into a bloodbath that is COSMIC in its sheer, rabid hate.  Obama has presided over the worst refugee crisis in the entire history of the human race.

Obama has presided over a world where Christianity is the world’s most violently persecuted worldview.

And cosmic fools like Obama lecture us that Muslims are the victims of this hate.  Well, Muslims are the PERPETRATORS OF THIS HATE.  And it turns out that Muslims murder wherever they happen to be – when they’re where other Muslims are they murder other Muslims – and when they’re here, they murder us here.

Obama’s legacy is the normalization of race-riots and domestic terror attacks.  Not to mention the worst income gap inequality in modern history, the worst record on entrepreneurship, the worst record on small business start ups due to punishing taxes and regulations, the worst labor participation rate since women entered the workforce (so basically the worst in HISTORY), such that a hundred million working-age Americans aren’t working even as Obama idiotically touts his economic record; the record of home ownership the worst in more than half a damn century.  Even LIBERAL news sources acknowledge that, under Obama, “Middle Class Jobs, income, Quickly Disappearing,” and under Obama, “Middle Class Shrinks Further as More Fall Out Instead of Climbing Up,” and under Obama, we have “The Vanishing of the Middle Class.”

This man TORTURED the people who finally rose up and voted his skinny, pathetic, arrogant party out of office.

Now, above I linked to Rep. John Lewis, who was once beaten by Democrats before becoming one with the people who beat him like a dog.  A Former Black Panther pointed that out:

John Lewis is a racist race thug.  Democrats are dishonestly telling us that other Republicans like John McCain and Mitt Romney were decent men, but Trump is below the pale.  But John Lewis exploited his status for being beaten by Democrats – because the Democratic Party has ALWAYS been and always WILL BE the party of naked racism and racial politics – by viciously and hatefully slandering first George W. Bush, then John McCain, then Mitt Romney.

Hollywood celebrities – or as I call them hypocrite fascist elitist turds — are proving that the cockroach heart of rabid blacklisting McCarthyism is alive and well in the Democratic Party.

There’s a long list of fashion designers who have boycotted Melania Trump and refused to dress her.  It didn’t even MATTER that she never asked them to in the first place.  They needed to scream to the world that they are fascist, rabid Nazi roaches.

Being an “artist” means having the creative freedom to express yourself.  Which is another way of saying there IS no such thing as a Democrat “artist.”  Because Democrats are the anathema of freedom intellectual or moral or otherwise.

Just imagine for one nanosecond if this had happened at Obama’s inauguration.  Just imagine the damn names that would have been used against people who opposed their president.  The left would have angrily used every ugly name in the book.

I remember the hysteria over the quote from Sen. Mitch McConnell that “the goal is to make Obama a one-term president” – which for the damn historical record McConnell made TWO YEARS AFTER Obama became president.  And the rabid, frenzied, hysterical hate that arose in response to that remark could only be matched by the Nazi response to some partisan in Nazi-occupied Europe refusing to worship their beloved Fuehrer.

I mean, OF COURSE THE GOAL OF THE REPUBLICANS WAS TO MAKE OBAMA A ONE-TERM PRESIDENT.  That was like their JOB!!!  Can you stupid roach fascists tell me the last time the Democrat Party refused to run a candidate for president because their goal was to re-elect the REPUBLICAN in office???

To the extent that you Democrats are shocked and appalled by the presidency of Donald John Trump, you DESERVE to be shocked and appalled.

I’ve compared Democrats repeatedly to Nazis.  Because that’s what they are.  Their response now is uber similar to the devout Nazis response: Hitler drove his people to ruin, but the devout worshipers of their beloved Fuehrer said that the nations allied against Germany only did so because they hated the Fuehrer and hated his beautiful vision for a better world; they said that Hitler had given them the good times, so they owed him their devout loyalty in the hard times.

Obama led the Democratic Party to utter, cataclysmic ruin.  His failed, disastrous policies led to a net loss of 1,042 state and federal Democratic posts, including congressional and state legislative seats, governorships and the presidency.

Meanwhile, the Zyclon-B of the Nazis in the death camps for the 6 million Jews they murdered was MERCIFUL in comparison to the viciousness of Democratic Party abortion techniques that have murdered more than TEN TIMES as many innocent human beings as the Nazis murdered.

So your current response now merely amounts to further proof that you deserve a Berlin response where Trump drives TANKS over your crushed and mangled bodies after firebombing your leftist cities.

Trump And Average American People Versus Meryl Streep And Hypocrite Hollywood

You look at a county-by-county map of the last election and this is what you see:

All the red counties voted for Donald Trump; all the blue counties voted for Meryl Streep’s choice of candidate.

Just so you know, California ALL BY ITSELF (Hillary won the state with 4,269,778 more votes than Trump) counts for the NEARLY TWICE the ENTIRE popular vote majority that Hillary Clinton voters keep saying matters so damn much (Hillary “won” the popular vote by 2,864,974 more votes than Trump).  You add in New York’s giant Hillary win (by 1,732,872 votes and a 59% to 36.5% margin) and Washington D.C.  (where Hillary won a staggering 90.9% of the vote!) and these three voting regions alone count for WAY OVER TWICE THE POPULAR VOTE DIFFERENCE that favors Hillary.  The founding fathers very deliberately crafted a system by which a president had to win states from across the nation and across the spectrum rather than merely winning a few lopsided ideological contests.

Now let’s turn to the Golden Globes, to Hollywood, to Meryl Streep and the political rants we heard.

This was the place where Jimmy Fallon had already come onto the stage and idiotically said:

“This is the Golden Globes: One of the few places left where America honors the popular vote”

Oh, man, you mean there was there a vote and I didn’t get my ballot?  Why not?  I’m registered to vote, Jimmy Fallon!!!  You know what?  I don’t remember voting or having any chance to vote for the Golden Globes and to give Meryl Streep a Lifetime Achievement Award.  I mean, it really – if you had something called “a functioning brain” – was not a whole lot different from the Electoral College System where Donald Trump sure enough won a very clear majority of the votes.

These damn lectures are idiotic.  The Hollywood hypocrites who give them are idiotic.  Their rhetoric is idiotic.  Their points are idiotic.  These fools literally despise our Constitution and our very democratic republic when they make such profoundly stupid and profoundly dishonest tirades.

I didn’t get to vote at the Golden Globes, Jimmy.  I wasn’t represented.  I was entirely shut out.  In fact, I was attacked for my vote by Meryl Streep and many other Hollywood celebrities.

And the very people who shut people like me out so that I didn’t get to vote, so that people like me didn’t ever have a CHANCE to be represented, are patting themselves on the back as the last honest bastion of democracy in action???  Seriously???

Next consider the economic power of those blue counties relative to that vast ocean of red:

According to the Brookings Institution analysis, the less-than-500 counties Clinton won nationwide combined to generate 64 percent of America’s economic activity in 2015, the Washington Post reported.

The more-than-2,600 counties President-elect Donald Trump won combined to generate 36 percent of the country’s economic activity last year.

It’s the “haves” vs. the “have nots.”  But Democrats lie like roaches under an oven when it comes to who the “have nots” actually are.

When you are in control of the nation’s ports – where everything related to commerce flows to and from – and when you get to control the media culture and the entertainment culture and the academic culture, well, you end up with what Democrats who use this term to apply to white vs. black racism as “an unequal power relation.”  Only the actual “unequal power relation” is the EXACT OPPOSITE of what Democrats falsely claim that it is.  We have almost nothing; they have nearly everything.  But because Democrats are bitter, butthurt people, “nearly everything” is not nearly enough.  They have to have it all; and they have to scream down or shut down or slander anyone or anything that gets in their fascist path.

So you take the ports: the Port of San Diego, the Port of Long Beach, the Port of Los Angeles, the Port of San Francisco, the Port of Oakland, and realize that ALL of these cities are today screaming leftist and you ask, “Did progressive liberalism and frankly socialism build these damn ports?”  And the answer is NO.  Not in ANY way, ANY shape or ANY form.  Rather they usurped control by promising wealth transfers to buy votes.  And when you have a massive guaranteed income such as ports or hi-tech centers (which they also control) and greedy Wall Street hedge funds (which they also control lock, stock and barrel contrary to what they always dishonestly claim) provide, literally more guaranteed wealth than a gold mine or diamond mine, it is easy to get corrupted and literally crazy because you can afford to do incredibly stupid things when you inherited filthy richness.

The Democrat Party is like Howard Hughes: absolute, raving nutjobs, but filthy rich enough to get away with sheer insanity that would have had anyone else buckled into a straitjacket and hauled off to a life in a rubber room.

Democrats control vast amounts of wealth for the very simple reason that they have an electoral stranglehold on the wealthiest port cities in America which they obtained through naked political bribery (vote for us and we’ll give you welfare for life and preferential treatment over other citizens and groups who don’t vote the way we want them to).

Our ports.  Our major cities that Democrats have won and turned into hellholes by being able to bus thousands of people whom they bribe to vote.  Our entertainment system.  Our “news.”  Our academic system where a disastrous thing called “tenure” and “unions” turned education into a politicized weapon.

When you look at education, realize that “education” was almost ENTIRELY CHRISTIAN in the United States of America when it was formed because true education depends on the recognition that we are Imago Dei.  Of the first 108 universities founded in America, 106 of them were established as profoundly and fundamentally “Christian Institutions.”  This is simply a documented fact of history.  In fact, the “university system” in GENERAL across planet earth was the result of Christianity and Christian foundations (see here and here and here).  Charlemagne turned to the Church as the ONLY POSSIBLE SOURCE for a higher education system capable of producing a body of educated people.  The very word for “university” was coined by Christian monks.  As an aside, the religion that secular humanist leftists so despise was the singular source of hospitals as well.  But continuing with education, when you read and understand the history of how our “public schools”, only then can you begin to understand the powerfully critical and essential role that Christians and Christianity played in our public education system for children.  And yet today, our learning centers that literally owe their existence to Christianity today try to totally shut out any mention of Jesus Christ or any sign of His values and priorities.  They got their foots in the door, used false promises and assurances to get Christians out, and then dishonestly and even viciously proceeded to slam the door shut in Christians’ faces.

How about the news media?  What do you say when you find out that 96 percent of “journalists'” campaign donations went to Hillary Clinton?  How in the hell can any reasonable person conclude that a media that is so biased can possibly be fair to Hillary Clinton’s opponent, Donald Trump???  What does that say about an institution that exists ENTIRELY to be OBJECTIVE???

Popular opinion confirms a leftist media bias (and see here); scientific studies confirm a rampant media bias; examining the actions of newspapers and television outlets confirms a leftist bias;  even cold-blooded computers detect an overwhelming and pervasive leftist media bias.

What is “racism”???  It is “an unequal power relation,” we are told.  And who in fact HAS the unequal power relations???  Why, the people that scream “racist” the most, of course.

And so we get to Meryl Streep’s “powerful Golden Globes Speech” and start laughing hysterically at the sheer appallingly dishonest butthurt hypocrisy.

She begins:

Thank you, Hollywood foreign press. Just to pick up on what Hugh Laurie said. You and all of us in this room, really, belong to the most vilified segments in American society right now.

Sorry, you dishonest peddler of victimhood, but no.  That’s not true.  It’s the people who voted for Donald Trump who are “the most vilified segment in American society right now,” as your own damn stupid speech confirms.

Remember Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables?”  All Meryl Streep does is steal the label and make it sound like Trump said it rather than the other way around.

She continues:

“Hollywood is crawling with outsiders and foreigners. If you kick ’em all out, you’ll have nothing to watch but football and mixed martial arts, which are not the arts.”

Well, first of all, when you look at football and the mixed martial arts’ ratings, you can see why Meryl Streep is so damn jealous: because they BURY your garbage, Hollywood.  And it’s always beyond unreal how dishonest the left is in its slander: because, yeah, right, Donald Trump said he was going to throw out every single outsider and every single foreigner.  This is called “fake news.”

It’s always funny to hear leftist Hollywood movie stars lecture us about guns and violence.  Just watch their stupid movies and see how many guns and how much violence there is and you’ll get my point.  mixed martial arts are not the arts, Meryl Streep smarmily decrees; but the movies that make all the damn money in Hollywood that glorify the violence that Streep looks down upon ARE “the arts.”

Please pardon me for putting this so crassly, but it’s kind of like saying if a chimpanzee made a great big giant bowel movement all over the zoo exhibit, it wouldn’t be “art”; but if a Hollywood makeup artist took that same great big giant bowel movement and smashed it onto Meryl Streep’s sanctimonious Hollywood face, well then it WOULD be “art,” because Meryl Streep is an “artist,” and she wears such things so very “artistically.”

Gun violence in Hollywood movies has more than TRIPLED since 1985; and even more hilariously hypocritically after one of the mass shootings we’ve had:

Like clockwork, before anyone had time digest the horror of the latest mass shooting, the left started finger-pointing and demanding more gun control – whether it would have prevented the crime or not. From President Obama on down, they immediately began railing against the NRA and gun owners.

Not surprisingly, entertainment industry liberals were among the most vocal. That also made them among the most hypocritical. TV, movies and music videos thrive portraying – and often glamorizing – violence, and gun violence in particular. And while actors were demanding gun control, the top 10 movies in theaters this past weekend were awash in violence – 334 separate violent acts, 121 of them involving guns. The on-screen body count was 39 dead out of 142 victims.

If we lived in the world of Hollywood liberalism, A HELLUVA LOT MORE PEOPLE WOULD DIE.  And die killed by GUNS, no less.

And that is a true, genuine fact of leftism in general.  Leftists are mass murderers.  Always have been, always will be.

Streep pats her industry on the back:

I was born and raised and created in the public schools of New Jersey. Viola [Davis] was born in a sharecropper’s cabin in South Carolina, and grew up in Central Falls, Rhode Island. Sarah Paulson was raised by a single mom in Brooklyn. Sarah Jessica Parker was one of seven or eight kids from Ohio. Amy Adams was born in Italy. Natalie Portman was born in Jerusalem. Where are their birth certificates? And the beautiful Ruth Negga was born in Ethiopia, raised in — no, in Ireland, I do believe. And she’s here nominated for playing a small town girl from Virginia. Ryan Gosling, like all the nicest people, is Canadian. And Dev Patel was born in Kenya, raised in London, is here for playing an Indian raised in Tasmania.

I just want you to realize that her great big giant pack on her sanctimonious back came following the disaster at the last year’s Oscars, which was described as “#OscarsSoWhite.”

I wonder why that is:

Oh, that was all the nominees for awards?  I mean, they’re all… they’re all… so WHITE.  And to talk about Meryl Streep’s blabbering, they’re from places like Whiteyland, Whiteville, Whitesburgh and Whitetown.

And by the left’s own understanding, Meryl Streep is nothing more than a privileged elitist white racist.

Chris Rock pointed out: “You realize if they nominated hosts, I wouldn’t even get this job!”  He said, “It’s the 88th Academy Awards which means this whole no black nominees thing has happened at least 71 other times.”  He called the Academy Awards “the white people’s choice awards.”

Just ask Meryl Streep how many black people’s Oscars she’s stolen in her white privileged career and that will shut her up real quick.

And so we get to the heart of Meryl Streep’s hypocrite hitjob:

There was one performance this year that stunned me. It sank its hooks in my heart. Not because it was good. There was nothing good about it. But it was effective and it did its job. It made its intended audience laugh and show their teeth. It was that moment when the person asking to sit in the most respected seat in our country imitated a disabled reporter, someone he outranked in privilege, power, and the capacity to fight back. It kind of broke my heart when I saw it. I still can’t get it out of my head because it wasn’t in a movie. It was real life.

And this instinct to humiliate, when it’s modeled by someone in the public platform, by someone powerful, it filters down into everybody’s life, because it kind of gives permission for other people to do the same thing. Disrespect invites disrespect. Violence incites violence. When the powerful use their position to bully others, we all lose.

Meryl Streep, one who personally knows a great damn DEAL about how to outrank most others in privilege, power and the capacity to fight back, is pretending there is no such thing as “the Casting Couch” where women who want a shot to put out a movie have to first put out in far more demeaning ways.

How many times have Hollywood liberals mocked and derided me and my evangelical Christian and conservative values???  Did Donald Trump mock a lousy, biased reporter in a manner that included his disability?  Probably, but for the record quite possibly NOT.  Also for the record, I personally am – due to my military service – significantly and permanently disabled.  And I don’t like being mocked for my disabilities or for anything else, but I’m mature enough to know that when you put yourself in the spotlight in a way hostile to someone else, you make yourself a target and enemy targets receive incoming fire as a matter of course.  Trump did other things (such as attack John McCain not as an unreliable, untrustworthy pseudo-ally – which he is – but as someone who doesn’t deserve “war-hero” status because he was shot out of the sky and terribly wounded and captured such that he rotted in one of the worst hells on earth for six years) that I didn’t like.  But I’ll tell you what: Hypocrite Hollywood has NO RIGHT to lecture ANYBODY for ANYTHING.

Meryl Streep is speaking on behalf of an industry that has ROUTINELY suppressed conservative actors from having any voice at the very risk of their careers.  Because as much as the left loves to demonize Republicans for McCarthyism, IT WAS DEMOCRATS WHO RAN WASHINGTON DURING THE MCCARTHY ERA AND IT IS HOLLYWOOD LIBERALS WHO ARE BLACKLISTING CONSERVATIVE ACTORS TODAY.  Joseph McCarthy himself was a Democrat nearly as long as he was a Republican.

Major celebrity performers are backing out of the Trump inauguration due to backlash and intimidation from leftists.  Trump literally cannot book celebrities for his inauguration because Hollywood and the entertainment industry in general are Stalinist bastions.  Can you imagine that happening to Obama???  Can you imagine the unbridled HELL the news media would have showered down on the hateful, treasonous, in-American and anti-American attitude such despicable refusal to honor an American president as they would have surely depicted it and would have surely framed it had the president elect been Hillary Clinton???

It’s the same thing over and over again: how often did CNN – or Fox News for that matter – get into argumentative shouting matches with Barack Obama as president elect???  How often was Obama so profoundly disrespected???  The CNN reporter Jim Acosta later said he was being “politely demanding,” which is an oxymoron.  To wit: “I politely raped her.”  No, I RUDELY raped her and am merely too damn dishonest to state what I did accurately.  But I challenge you to show me footage of the press acting that way toward Obama especially before he took office but even afterward.

But it’s always okay when leftists do what they say is so evil for anyone else to do.  That is how they are because to be a leftist is to be a pathological hypocrite.

Meryl Streep is saying how dare you oppress marginalized people WHILE THERE IS NO INDUSTRY ON EARTH THAT MARGINALIZES MORE PEOPLE MORE OFTEN THAN HOLLYWOOD.

And where’s MY power when these people attack me and attack my values?  Where’s MY power to fight back when they have such a giant microphone?

When Democrats – particularly the minorities that Meryl Streep says are the most underprivileged of all – were routinely hatefully physically attacking Donald Trump supporters for the crime of participating in a rally or their candidate of choice, where was Meryl Streep to denounce the rabid hate that IS the Democratic Party?

When it was proven that in fact the vicious rodent thug that had organized these vicious physical attacks against Trump events was in fact working for the Hillary Clinton campaign and had visited Obama’s White House 342 times and had visited Obama personally, where was Meryl Streep to stand up for the little people who were victims of the terrible acts of Nazi brutality coming from her candidate and her party???

And when these Hollywood liberals attack, they do so with the same smarmy hypocrisy that they do when they screech about “climate change” and then get on carbon-spewing private jets that put out more global warming gasses in a single minute than I’ll put out in a year.

What you’re doing is evil, these Hollywood leftists keep screaming at us: and if we make millions of dollars doing the thing we say is so evil on movie screens and then do the very thing we say is so evil in our personal lives, no big deal.

How many Democrat Hollywood stars suffered for performing or attending Obama’s inauguration?  Zero.  But that aint true when it comes to Meryl Streep’s fellow Hollywood fascists when it comes to celebrities at Trump’s inauguration.

Just imagine if Republicans had planned an alternative event to the Obama inauguration.  But that’s what Hollywood Democrat celebrities are doing as they plan an event to upstage Trump’s.  It is a star-studded “We the Butthurt” concert.  And Meryl and all of her friends are going to be there to refuse to support the President of the United States and actively organize against this country and its system of government and its Constitution.  At no time did Republicans ever even come CLOSE to this kind of rabid hate against Obama.  There was a time when we legitimately called such behavior “treason.

Wages didn’t go up under Obama; they went down.  The gap between rich and poor, black and white under Obama got WORSE and in fact worse than under any under single president compared to his predecessor in history.  Obama loves to tell us drivel about how he’s been so wonderful for the economy and how he saved us from the Great Depression.  Bullcrap: this country is worse off between the richest and the poorest due to Obama’s failed policies since it was BEFORE the Great Depression!  How many people do you know that are at least 89 years old?  Because 89 years is how far back you have to go to find somebody who was even ALIVE during a worse damn presidency.

Democrats – and MOST ESPECIALLY DEMOCRATS LIKE MERYL STREEP – have the giant share of the wealth in this country and have frankly gone insane with it because they simply have no connection or contact whatsoever with the real, actual world that the rest of America lives in.  They have dictatorial, Stalinist, fascist control of the “news” industry – again, with NINETY-SIX PERCENT of journalists’ political contributions being FOR Hillary Clinton and AGAINST Donald Trump.  And this is an industry that has intentionally been fabricated into a rabidly biased and unfair unelected political body that literally betrays and undermines the very Constitution that enshrines it in the first place.  And then an Obama appeals for the public not to reject “facts.”  WHOSE FACTS???  The “facts” of the world’s most biased industry???

Obama in his Good Riddance Address said of the media:

And increasingly we become so secure in our bubbles that we start accepting only information, whether it’s true or not, that fits our opinions, instead of basing our opinions on the evidence that is out there.

And this trend represents a third threat to our democracy. Look, politics is a battle of ideas. That’s how our democracy was designed. In the course of a healthy debate, we prioritize different goals, and the different means of reaching them. But without some common baseline of facts, without a willingness to admit new information and concede that your opponent might be making a fair point, and that science and reason matter, then we’re going to keep talking past each other.

And who the hell’s FAULT is that???  When an industry can be so overwhelmingly proven to be so rabidly biased and dishonest as a political arm for Obama’s party???

In the same way, our public school and university systems have been hijacked and used and abused in a flagrantly partisan manner where institutionalized rabid political bias become “scientific facts.”  And the same dishonest, rabidly biased media I described above selectively reports these so-called “facts” in a rabidly biased manner.  Take for example the whole “global warming”-“climate change” fiasco is a dishonest case in point: Dr. Judith Curry just resigned as a professor at Georgia Tech citing literal insane bias against ANY legitimate science or questions with the bogus “consensus” model of man-blamed global warming the left is rabidly determined to maintain.  But what the hell: the rabidly dishonestly biased pseudo-scientists as reported in the rabidly dishonestly biased mainstream media have a “consensus” that the leftists who are politically exploiting that pseudo-consensus insist we all bow down to.

I MOCK the media that refused to report the scientific findings of scientists they identified as “climate change deniers” but were all to willing to bathe in the “unsubstantiated reports” – unsubstantiated reports that were not only unverified but UNVERIFIABLE – that were generated by hostile and prejudiced opposition research and which are already documented to contain numerous clear factual errors.  Just as I MOCK the pro-climate change “scientists” who literally resort to Stalinist tactics and even freaking DEATH THREATS in “response” to legitimate science.

What I am pointing out – and I think have conclusively demonstrated – is that the left that has in Stalinist manner usurped everything and maintains that usurpation in a profoundly intolerant manner to anyone who has any fact or any question that might undermine them, are amazingly depicting themselves as the oppressed underclass.  It is such an amazing act of chutzpah it is beyond unreal.

 

 

Black Chicago Leftists Torture Mentally Disabled Man Screaming Hatred About ‘White People’ and ‘Donald Trump’

How are Democrats showing their fascist, satanic butthurt?  Let me count the ways:

Police in Chicago say charges are expected Thursday following the disturbing video that emerged this week showing a group of four people shouting obscenities about the president-elect and white people while abusing a man authorities say has mental health issues.

The specific charges have not been determined. Authorities say the people in the video will at least face charges that could include kidnapping and battery, while state officials are weighing whether to pursue hate crime charges as well.

The shaky video shows a terrified young man in a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark pants crouching in a corner, his wrists and neck bound with orange bands, his mouth taped shut.

A young woman films as two young men slash the sleeves of his shirt with knives, then take turns punching him, slapping him and stomping on his head. At one point, one of the men can be seen cutting the victim’s hair and scalp with a knife, and the victim is later shown bleeding from his injuries.

As the victim cowers with his back to the wall, someone can be heard repeatedly shouting, “F‑‑‑ Donald Trump” and “F‑‑‑ white people.”

Throughout the 28-minute video — which focuses mostly on the young woman behind the camera — the group laughs, jokes and listens to music as the victim sits motionless on the floor. About halfway through, someone says the man “represents Trump,” and threatens to put him in the trunk of a car and “put a brick on the gas.”

It’s unclear what happens to the victim when the video cuts off.

Chicago police on patrol said they found the disoriented victim walking down the street Tuesday in shorts, despite the frigid cold, and took him to the hospital for treatment. They said he was mentally disabled and appeared to be “in crisis.”

Shortly after, police said, they responded to a battery call at a residence on the same block and took four suspects — two men and two women — into custody. Police said that three of the four people are 18, while the fourth is 24; authorities have not identified any of them. The victim is also 18 and has also not been officially identified.

On Wednesday, the four people were being held on suspicion of abusing and torturing the man in a brutal assault police say the group streamed on Facebook Live, which allows users to broadcast real-time events from their mobile phones and has increasingly been employed to air disturbing and often criminal conduct, along with personal rants, cat videos and hoaxes.

Police declined to give the race of the attackers or the victim. In the video, the attackers appear black. The victim appears to be white.

Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said that the victim was an adult man with “mental health challenges.” The suspects were in custody Wednesday and awaiting formal charges, which could potentially include hate crime charges, Johnson told reporters in a news conference.

“The images in the video put on display the brazenness of the offenders who assaulted the victim and then broadcast it for the entire world to see,” Johnson said.

“It’s sickening. It makes you wonder what would make individuals treat somebody like that,” he said. “It still amazes me how you still see things that you just shouldn’t. I’m not going to say it shocked me, but it was sickening.”

According to police, the victim lived in the Chicago suburb of Crystal Lake and was acquainted with one of the suspects through school. Police said the victim appeared to have voluntarily met up with the suspect he knew at some point and later rode with others in a stolen van to Chicago’s West Side. He was with the suspects for at least 24 hours and maybe as long as 48 hours, police said.

Police in nearby Streamwood, Ill., said the victim’s parents had not heard from him since Dec. 31, when they dropped him off at a McDonald’s in the area, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. After reporting him missing on Monday, police said, the victim’s parents received “text messages from persons claiming to be holding him captive.”

At about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, shortly after police found the victim wandering in the street, officers were called to a battery at a residence in Chicago’s Homan Square neighborhood on the city’s West Side. There, they “discovered signs of a struggle and damage to the property and were able to link this evidence to the disoriented male,” the department said in a statement.

The WaPo article fails to mention how the racist black terrorist torturers were heard on the video commanding the terrorized disabled white man to “Kiss the floor, bitch!” and say, “I love black people!”

Question: if this story were about four white supremacists doing this to a black mentally disabled man, forcing him to drink out of a toilet, forcing him to say he looooved white people, torturing him, slicing him with a knife, forcing him to curse Hillary Clinton, how do you think the mainstream media for whom this present story is no big deal cover it????

Democrats are demon-possessed hypocrites.

We’re being told that charges are coming, and that the liberal Chicago authorities “did not rule out classifying the attack as a hate crime.”  You know, the way we shouldn’t have ruled out the vicious Japanese Pearl Harbor attack as an act of war.

Now, what’s funny is how this was carried LIVE on Facebook for quite a period of time.  And this isn’t the “fake news” about face Republican racism that butthurt Democrats who want to blame EVERYTHING about the last election on everyone and everything but their godawful party and their godawful platform and their godawful candidate who ran a godawful race because of all her godawful problems with incompetence and outright criminality; no, this Facebook story is REAL news about ACTUAL Democrat racism and hate and violence.

Obama’s lawthug Eric Holder instituted a policy when he was Attorney General of “Never bring a lawsuit against a black.”  Which is why “polar bear hunting” – where black young men sucker punch unwitting white people in an attempt to kill them or knock them unconscious with one vicious punch – was never prosecuted as “hate crimes.”  So you can safely know that if any hate crime charges actually happen, it’s going to be fear of what Donald Trump will do if such charges don’t come.

The vicious, rabid racist hate of Democrats is on open display.

And yet, amazingly, what we get is demonic denial: that “racism” is somehow impossible for black people because of “unequal power relations” which boils down to the on-its-face-morally-idiotic statement that “Blacks can’t be racist because they don’t have any power.”  And this mob of race thugs will racially oppress and intimidate anyone who suggests otherwise.  Because we’ve obviously never had a black president or a black attorney general or anything like that.

What these people very obviously want is a form of vindictive redistribution of wealth whereby they literally use the raw power of government to confiscate white people’s bank accounts and businesses and homes such that THEY now enjoy “majority/economic/political power” and maybe one day actually admit, “Okay, black people CAN be racist, after all, but racism is okay now because we’re the ones who are doing it!”

No.  Rather “African-Americans” are the most racist people on the face of the earth today.

Or, to put it another way, when those four black thugs were torturing that poor terrorized white mentally disabled man, JUST WHO THE HELL HAD THE “UNEQUAL POWER RELATION”?  When that mentally disabled white man was bound and helpless and being tortured, just how DEMON-POSSESED are you to look at me with a straight face and say, “Well, he was white, so it was those four black people who had bound and tortured him who are actually “oppressed” and that bound mentally disabled white man was the “racist”????

If we are to have any chance, our society needs to reach a point where all people are human beings from the moment of conception – because otherwise we will have an endless debate over what qualifies one as “human” and innate and incommensurable human dignity gets thrown out the window; we need to end concepts such as “Black Lives Matter” just as we need to end slogans such as “White Power!” and “Black Power!” because such statements are inherently racist all.  And we need to – having decided that we are in fact all human beings – to decide to hold all people RESPONSIBLE as human beings for their deeds.

I’ll tell you what: it’s not even a QUESTION of whether “hate crime” charges ought to be filed here; let’s “file” that under “no-brainer.”  Because IF hate crime charges aren’t filed, we all have it for all time and eternity an understanding of what “hate crime charges” truly are: a racist attempt by racist liberals to hijack the system in a Stalinist manner to obtain “show trials” for a purely partisan ideological purpose rather than seeking ANY form of “racial justice.”

This is NOT the first time that “hate crime” charges should have been filed by this demonic administration.  I’ve written about this crap many times before: here and here and here and here and here and here and here and here and here and oh the hell with it I could go on for quite a damn while.

We have DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE that the Democratic Party actively organized physical violence as a political weapon: the Democratic Party is the embodiment of a “hate crime.”

And that means if you decide that these four black racist youths who tortured that poor white disabled man while yelling racist and political slogans aren’t guilty of “hate crimes” because they’re just young people venting; then that’s all Dylan Roof did when he went to that black church and shot it up as an act of hate against black people and Christians alike.

We therefore need to abolish the racially polarizing Democratic Party and get rid of all the “Civil Rights leaders” who preach hate for white people and return to a time when people were NOT judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
