Ok, so here we go again.  Another shooting, another liberal attempt to “fundamentally transform” society into a Stalinist or Nazi-style socialist utopia that bans guns from law-abiding people.  Because yes, it is a simple fact of history that every single totalitarian regime became a totalitarian regime by first stripping its people of the weapons they would need to prevent a totalitarian regime from stomping on their faces Orwell-1984-style: “If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face forever.”

But as Adolf Hitler said, “To conquer a nation, first disarm it’s citizens.”

And THEN you get to stamp on their face, forever.

Totalitarian tyranny is the cherished dream of every true liberal.  Refusing to believe in God, they refuse to believe in the human soul.  Refusing to believe in the human soul, they have no basis whatsoever for human free will, or dignity, or freedom, or liberty.  The game of “rights” is merely that, because the way they argue it, they get to take away the rights of their opponents whenever they want (the right to keep and bear arms, the right to free speech, the right to religious liberty) and give rights that never before existed to their godless base.  And the fecal matter that is liberal philosophy rolls down the slope from there.

Let’s go back over the past couple of months here, starting with the atheist hater Stephen Paddock who gunned down pro-conservative and pro-Christian country music lovers after the crowd sang “God Bless America.”  It wasn’t a fundamentalist Christian Southern Baptist gunning down people at a gay rights parade, understand???

Then we had the Harvey Weinstein revelations.  Huge leftist turd protected by other leftists such as uberliberal Matt Damon and leftist entities such as the leftist fake news paper The New York Times and the Democratic donating lawyer industry and a “feminist” lawyer named Lisa Bloom doing everything possible to protect him while he raped and then raped again.  In this scandal, you see the REAL haters of women, with every major liberal organization colluding to shelter a decades-long serial rapist.  And what do liberals want to have as a result of what THEY are and what THEY did?  Even more power.  Trust us.  We’ll fix the giant moral crisis that we caused.  Just give us your souls.  And remove your skirt, please.  It’s in the path of progressivism, I mean progress.

Now, on the same damn day, two really ugly things happened.  We’ve got another atheist murderer gunning down 26 Christians in a church.  I heard a news conference claiming “no religious motivation in the shooting.”  And then I saw this:

That’s right, boys and girls: the rabid mass murderer who gunned down as many helpless Christians as he could was an ATHEIST.  He was known for being so rabid in his atheistic views that even people who weren’t that religious just avoided him.  You had to demonically HATE God to be okay with this turd.

Atheism is the ugliest and most vicious and most totalitarian worldview that has ever existed or ever WILL exist.  Atheism is the political philosophy responsible for more than 100 million murders of their own people just in peacetime alone.  There is no worldview – including that of ISIS – that can compare to the destruction of the human spirit committed by communism.  But every single communist regime was officially state atheist, and so you have to start counting the many “wars of revolution” that have violently plagued the last century and continues to plague us in this one today that have resulted in the violent deaths of millions more human beings.

Liberals and atheists have this bizarre tendency – the thesis of this article – to studiously ignore the ugliness in their own eyes.  They conveniently forget their own history of the Democratic Party being the party of the genocidal Trail of Tears, the party of slavery and of the Civil War where REPUBLICANS had to fight to free a people institutionally enslaved by DEMOCRATS, of the Democratic Party terrorist arm otherwise known as the Klu Klux Klan that Democrats created in the aftermath of that Civil War.  The blacks after the Civil War were ALL REPUBLICANS for a damn REASON.  Liberals conveniently forget the profound relationship and connection between the KKK and the Democratic Party, the fact that the first “liberal progressive,” Woodrow Wilson, praised the KKK film “Birth of a Nation,” the way that the 1924 national Democratic Convention was so dominated by the Klan it was called “Klanbake,” and so on ad nauseam: Bull Connor to Robert Byrd.  The “transformation” of the Democratic Party from rabidly-anti-black to rabidly-anti-white came from this fount with Lyndon Baines Johnson expressing it succinctly: “These Negroes, they’re getting pretty uppity these days and that’s a problem for us since they’ve got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we’ve got to do something about this, we’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference… I’ll have them niggers voting Democratic for the next two hundred years”.  And that is exactly what the Democratic Party did, “fundamentally transforming” the plantation into a place where the uppity negro would want to live by providing a meager, subsistence living (paid for by others, of course) in exchange for the black soul, which is now owned by the devil himself.  And that is why blacks will NEVER be a successful people in America until they shrug off the shackles of the NEW Democratic Party plantation.  This is the same LBJ who displayed what he REALLY thought of “Civil Rights” by appointing Thurgood Marshall to the Supreme Court while saying, “”Son, when I appoint a n—–r to the court, I want everyone to know he’s a n—–r.”

Don’t think that Democrats don’t think blacks are filthy niggers who will always BE filthy niggers, but they’ve got another craven way to cynically exploit them.

Just like Stephen Paddock, the Las Vegas gunman who used an Obama bump stock to improve his rate of fire.

They’re making it about the mother-in-law who went to the church.  Well, he didn’t go to her house; HE WENT TO HER CHURCH.  And he didn’t gun down the mother-in-law; he gunned down every single Christian he could murder.  Because he’s an atheist and a rabid hater of God and of God’s people.

Let me provide a personal digression: if I kicked a neighbors dog after it bit me, the mainstream media headline would read, “Fundamentalist Christian Hate.”  And let’s just state it as a fact that if I were to go gun down Muslims in a mosque – which by the way I would NEVER do and hope I would actually die defending Muslims from such an attack – we can safely know that my status as a publicly confessing Christian would become the instant focus of my motivation for the attack.

We’ve been seeing this rabidly hypocritical game played for decades now: the left cries “separation of church and state” and keeps Christians out (while inviting Muslims AS MUSLIMS in by as many million as they can).  The “separation of church and state” philosophy exists NOWHERE in our Constitution, our Bill or Rights, or our Declaration of Independence (which strangely keeps invoking GOD as being the American people’s reason and right to separate itself from political tyranny in the first place).  Rather, it is a phrase that is intentionally taken out of context from a private letter that Thomas Jefferson wrote to a Baptist church.  If one read the actual letter in its entirety, one would immediately understand that Jefferson was actually claiming the VERY OPPOSITE of what liberals claim the statement means: that the wall of separation works one and ONLY one way, namely, preventing the government from taking any stand whatsoever against religion while allowing religion to influence government.  But we find that to be a liberal progressive is to be a liar.  And liars are hypocrites.  As we shall see and then keep on seeing.

So atheists have been attacking Christians for decades using their ideological allies in the courts who simply invent the law in their own image and say “I’m a judge, so whatever I want must be ‘the law,'” and we get decision after decision against us based on the fake news notion of “separation of church and state.”  Which nakedly exploits the power of the state in the hands of religious ideologue atheists into a weapon against the Church.  Which the very words they cite is evil according to the actual context of the man who wrote those words.

But fact: atheism is a religion.  The United States Supreme Court has ruled it as such, and any decent philosophical examination makes it obvious: the question of “God” or the nature of man are inherently RELIGIOUS issues.  I may be lousy at math, but whether I say 1+1=2 or 1+1=5, but I am STILL talking about math.  When atheists deny God, they are talking about God, which is religious.  Furthermore, Buddhism has always been granted the status of being a religion, but proper Buddhism is in fact atheistic.

So what we have is a group of dishonest religious atheists – and there is NO reason to be honest in atheism, for the simple reason that by what morality or absence of morality would one be called a bad atheist? – have cynically exploited a rabidly-out-of-context statement to purge religion, in order to impose their OWN damn religion of atheism.

Dishonest hypocrisy is THE hallmark of liberal progressivism.  It is impossible to be a liberal progressive and be an honest human being.  The two are mutually exclusive of one another.

Senator Rand Paul was tackled to the ground by a neighbor while he was mowing his lawn in Bowling Green, KY on Friday, causing minor injuries according to a police report. The neighbor, Rene Boucher, and Paul were embroiled in some kind of feud, according to another neighbor.

But Boucher’s Facebook postings reveal a virulent Trump hater and a supporter of Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.

And it is impossible not to remember how Steve Scalise was gunned down along with three others by an automatic-rifle raving Democrat out to murder every single Republican on the congressional baseball team.  Remember that?  The mainstream media sure has!

“As I was getting into the car [with a colleague], there was a guy that walked up to us that was asking whether it was Republicans or Democrats out there. It was just a little odd,” he said.

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La., 2 U.S. Capitol Police officers, one staffer, and the gunman were shot, according to a Capitol Security source.

Scalise has a security detail. Police say the suspect is in custody.

DeSantis said the man he encountered before the shooting was not carrying anything at the time. But he said it was “weird” that he only asked that question and walked away.

And of course, right after Rep. Scalise was gunned down, Democrats showed us what their love looks like:

The Obama administration knew that Russia had used bribery, kickbacks and extortion to get a stake in the US atomic energy industry — but cut deals giving Moscow control of a large chunk of the US uranium supply anyway, according to a report Tuesday.

The FBI used a confidential US witness working inside the Russian nuclear industry to gather records, make secret recordings and intercept ­emails as early as 2009 that showed the Kremlin had compromised an American uranium trucking company, The Hill reported.

Executives at the company, Transport Logistics International, kicked back about $2 million to the Russians in exchange for lucrative no-bid contracts — a scheme that violated the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the report said.

The feds also learned that Russian nuclear officials had gotten millions of dollars into the US designed to benefit the Clinton Foundation at the same time then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government committee that signed off on the deals, sources told The Hill.

The racketeering operation was conducted “with the consent of higher-level officials” in Russia who “shared the proceeds” from the kickbacks, an agent later stated in an affidavit.

But the Justice Department under Attorney General Eric Holder did not bring charges in the case prior to the deals being cut.

And now we also know that nuclear weapons grade uranium that Obama and the Clintons sold to our enemy Russia did NOT stay in the US, but went to Canada and into Europe and frankly maybe into Asia.  It was a rigged deal from the outset.

Meanwhile, with absolutely zero evidence, the Democrats continue full-speed ahead to go after Trump.  For what it is beyond proven that THEY did.

Amazing True Facts: Emails Actually MATTER Now To Vile Democrats (That’s ‘DEMOn-possessed bureaCRATS’)

I have to go somewhere, but I just can’t resist shouting this from my rooftop:

For over two years now, emails didn’t matter one tiny bit to the vile people otherwise known as Democrats.  They just weren’t morally capable of even the tiniest and most trivial level of honesty, integrity, decency, virtue, character or morality necessary to care about the fact that their candidate for president is as dishonest, corrupt and fascist as they come.

It just got openly revealed to the world that every single thing Hillary Clinton said about her emails and the secret, unauthorized server that she installed to fascistically control access to those emails and keep the public from having any transparency in their leaders, was an outright lie.  The woman is a pathological liar, right down to the tiniest details.

But Democrats no more care about Hillary Clinton’s emails than they do about the fact that they will soon be screaming in the eternal fire of hell for a trillion to the trillionth power years for every single nanosecond they murderously stole from every single one of the sixty million babies that every single Democrat has participated in through their vote for the party of abortion.  Just as the God of the Bible has declared that homosexual perversion is an abomination and a detestable act that will guarantee the wrath of God against any nation that approves of it.

Democrats couldn’t care less that Hillary Clinton treated the national security of the United States like disgustingly-soiled toilet paper so she could hide her corrupt Clinton Foundation shenanigans.

PHILADELPHIA –  Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz was sidelined from her party convention just hours before the Monday start of the Philadelphia gathering, after leaked emails indicating an anti-Bernie Sanders bias in her operation inflamed the left flank of the party.

The controversial party boss will no longer preside over the convention, and reportedly does not have a speaking role.

The fallout was swift, as even more emails surfaced Sunday showing Schultz personally blasting the Vermont independent senator’s insurgent primary presidential bid against Hillary Clinton.

In one, she practically laughed off Sanders after he vowed to replace her as DNC chairwoman if elected.

“This is a silly story. He isn’t going to be president,” she wrote in the May 21 email.

Following the release of this and numerous other emails in a WikiLeaks document dump, Fox News confirmed Sunday that Wasserman Schultz will not preside over the Democratic convention. The decision was reached amid pressure from the White House and Hillary Clinton campaign.

Rep. Marcia Fudge, D-Ohio, the former chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus, will instead preside over the Democratic proceedings as convention chairwoman.

The rapid-fire set of developments ahead of the Philadelphia convention kick-off indicate a party in crisis management mode as officials try to prevent anger over the email leak controversy and other issues from disrupting proceedings. The emails only bolstered claims from Sanders – and Republican nominee Donald Trump – that the system was rigged against the Vermont senator.

Sanders himself blasted the DNC and Wasserman Schultz in interviews Sunday, demanding her resignation as party chairwoman to boot.

“I think [Wasserman Schultz] should resign. Period. And I think we need a new chair who is going the lead us in a very different direction,” Sanders told ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday.

Sanders said “these emails reiterate that reason why she should not be chair.”

Sanders is himself set to speak on the opening night of the Democratic convention, securing an A-list position after a hard-fought, ideological primary battle with Clinton.

But he hasn’t forgiven Wasserman Schultz for an alleged pro-Clinton stance during the campaign. He repeated those claims in the wake of WikiLeaks’ release of roughly 20,000 Democratic National Committee emails.

The leaks, which include emails from January 2015 to May 2016, purportedly came from the accounts of seven DNC officials. In a May 5 email, a DNC employee asked a colleague to collect information on his religious beliefs – claiming it might sway voters in West Virginia and Kentucky. In that particular email, Sanders’ name was not mentioned, but he was the only other candidate in the race at that time against Clinton.

DNC chief financial officer Brad Marshall wrote, “This would make several points difference with my peeps. My Southern Baptist peeps would draw a big difference between a Jew and an atheist.”

Others from Wasserman Schultz herself contained very strong language, raising questions about her status as an ostensibly neutral party official.

Responding to Sanders’ complaints the party hasn’t been fair to him, she wrote to a staffer in an April email: “Spoken like someone who has never been a member of the Democratic Party and has no understanding of what we do.”

Responding to the same staffer a month later regarding Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver blaming the Nevada state party for a raucous convention, she wrote, “Damn liar. Particularly scummy that he barely acknowledges the violent and threatening behavior that occurred.”

Sanders will be joined Monday night on stage at the Wells Fargo Center by first lady Michelle Obama and several other speakers, according to the Democratic National Committee.

CNN reported that Wasserman Schultz, however, would not have a speaking role in Philadelphia. Wasserman Schultz is not on the list of speakers released by the DNC.

A Democratic source told the network that she had been “quarantined.”

By contrast, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus delivered an address on the closing night of the GOP convention in Cleveland.

The Democratic National Committee and Wasserman Schultz already were facing internal unrest over party rules, but the email leak aggravated pro-Sanders Democrats even more.

Sanders, a self-proclaimed democratic socialist, had argued all along that Washington Democrats favored Clinton. Among other decisions, he pointed to Wasserman Schultz’s decision to limit the number of primary debates, which he argued was meant to protect Clinton.

Sanders — who railed against what he called a “rigged” system throughout his campaign — has since endorsed Wasserman Schultz’s primary rival in her re-election bid, in another sign of the acrimony between them.

Clinton chief strategist Joel Benenson, on “Fox News Sunday,” defended the fairness of the primary elections and said the DNC would conduct a full review of the emails. He said people should not jump to conclusions.

“The DNC’s impact in these things is minimal compared to the results. What candidates and campaigns spend and do on the ground, talking to voters day in and day out, that’s what determines who wins,” he said.

That Sanders gets a prime-time speaking spot is also significant, considering the rival campaigns for weeks negotiated his primary exit strategy, with Sanders insisting that at least some of his progressive agenda — including free college education, better international trade deals and more social and economic equality — be included in the party platform.

He ultimately endorsed Clinton a few weeks ago.

And which party just got busted hating on Jews???  You got it, the REAL Party of Lucifer, the Democrat Party.

And as there are tens of thousands of protesters rightly protesting the fascism endemic to the Democratic National Convention and the entire Democratic Party, as you see all the hateful remarks that will spew out of every speakers’ mouth toward Donald Trump, just know that the media is as dishonest as the sun is hot.

Just another something to chew on: the Clinton campaign is blaming this email leak on Russia.  You mark my words, if you are fool enough to vote for Hillary Clinton, Russia will also have in its database all the thirty-two thousand emails Hillary purged from her secret server beyond the FBI’s ability to recover that will prove her criminal corruption through her corrupt Clinton Foundation.  Russia will blackmail Hillary Clinton into being Vladimir Putin’s slave.  And the United States will be sold down the river by a woman who long ago proved that she was all-too-willing to sell America down the river if the price was right or if it was convenient for her.

Liberal Democrat Message: Americans Who Oppose Sharia Law Being Imposed On Them Are Bigots

Let me just start with an entirely separate incident to frame this story about the wickedness, dishonesty and vileness of liberals and liberalism before I move on to the elected Democrat official’s being wicked, dishonest and vile.

We just had a shooting homicide of three young Muslim students at Chapel Hill.  Let’s see who the shooter is:

Mr. Hicks’s wife, Karen, insisted at a news conference that her husband was not a bigot. “I can say with absolute belief that this incident had nothing to do with religion or the victims’ faith, but it was related to a longstanding parking dispute that my husband had with the neighbors,” she said.

His wife also pointed out his support for gay rights and the right to abortion.

Karen Hicks, the wife of Craig Stephen Hicks, who is accused of murdering three Muslim students, said he championed individuals’ rights on his Facebook page and believed everyone was equal.

Okay, so the shooter is a rabid atheist who hates conservatives and Christians and is a rabid supporter of abortion and homosexual marriage.  I know what you’re thinking: if this clown doesn’t spend all day getting his worldview fed to him by Fox News, then I’m the world’s greatest athlete.

Oh, you’re not thinking that because that would be idiotic, given that Fox News if anything presents the very opposite of this turd?

Well, that doesn’t stop the left from framing Fox News for the work of one of their own fascist slimeballs.  I actually saw the coverage on MSNBC blaming Fox News, but here’s the work of CNN doing it:

Shafi Khan, a self-described friend of the Muslim students shot dead Tuesday in North Carolina, specifically blamed Fox News, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and Oklahoma state Rep. John Bennett for what he called the “dehumanization of Muslims.”

“Speaking as an American Muslim, I can tell you that we can’t deny there’s a sentiment in the community that we feel that we were being targeted for our faith,” Mr. Khan, a North Carolina native who co-founded United Muslim Relief, told CNN. “There is certain sections of the media and political apparatus that are constantly dehumanizing Muslims. And I want to take a minute and ask people like Fox News and Bobby Jindal to stop the dehumanization of Muslims. It’s really, really starting to take a toll.”

Craig Stephen Hicks, 46, was arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree murder after turning himself in to Chapel Hill authorities for the shooting deaths of Deah Shaddy Barakat, 23, his wife, Yusor Mohammad, 21, and her sister, Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha, 19.

Apart from the fact that the leftist press is trying to blame the ONE network we can safely assume atheist abortion loving sodomy worshiper Craig Hicks DID NOT watch, what else do we have?  Of course we’ve got these rabid liberals screaming to take away our guns, but who are the murderous whackjobs that kill with guns?  The very liberals who want to take them away.  Which is another way of pointing out the fact that “liberal” or “Democrat” is a synonym for “liar” and “hypocrite without shame, honor or decency.”

We live in an age when our journalists from the very top level down are simply nothing more than documented liars.  Truth is virtually impossible in this climate.

But we have a liar-in-chief as the leader of the free world.

Obama has repeatedly argued that Islam has nothing to do with the scourge of terrorism that has exploded under his presidency:

And yet Barack Obama just went on national television and basically said that there is a moral equivalence between what Muslim terrorists are doing RIGHT NOW TODAY and what Christians allegedly did A THOUSAND DAMN YEARS AGO in the Medieval world as a response to Muslims attacking one of their own Christian empires:

President Obama used the annual National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday to draw those in attendance to the “terrible deeds” committed “in the name of Christ.”

While speaking at the Washington event, Mr. Obama had harsh words for the Islamic State group, but he also put a spotlight on the Crusades.

“Unless we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ,” Mr. Obama said.

The president added that members of the Sunni radical terror group are part of  “brutal vicious death cult that in the name of religion carries out unspeakable acts of barbarism.”

The president’s speech came just days after Jordanian pilot Moaz al-Kassasbeh was burned alive by the Islamic State group. The member of the U.S.-led coalition had been held prisoner since December after his F-16 crashed.

So we catch Obama in the act of blaming religion in general and then specifically trying to create a false moral equivalence and point his finger at Christians while shielding the religion of Islam that is actually responsible for 99.999% of violent acts of terror today.  You know, excluding the ones that atheists are responsible for.

The problem is that atheism is itself a religious worldview with all the defining characteristics of a religious worldview.  The problem is that atheism is responsible for more brutal murders in the last century than every other religious worldview in all of history (even including psycho Islam) has ever been COMBINED.  And the problem is that Christianity – to the extent that it actually needed to do so – reformed hundreds of years ago and why in the HELL are liberals and Democrats doing everything they can to prevent Islam from needing to reform itself the same way as they constantly try to say that terrorism committed by Muslims in the name of Allah and Islam have nothing to do with Muslims, Allah or Islam???

G.K. Chesterton stated the fact that:

What has happened is that socialist – by which I mean a hybrid of fascist and communist – liberal Democrats such as Barack Obama have done everything they can to replace God with The State.  And apart from God – and specifically the God of the Bible – The State is beyond question.  It’s motives are simply “truth” because there is no greater power and no greater “truth” than Government left.

Radical Muslims and radical liberals want the same thing: the State elevated to the power of Deity and having complete control over our lives and our liberties and our freedom.  They both have the exact same end and the only difference is the means to that end.  And liberals such as Barack Obama and Maxine Waters believe that they can either negotiate with or appease radical Islam.

So with that setup that occurred after I had basically written the following, let me get to the story I initially intended to write about.

Rep. Maxine Waters, a multi-term elected Democrat in good standing, believes that if you don’t like sharia law, you are a bigot and you need to have your freedoms crushed.

She’s hardly the only Democrat holding this position: in her most recent appearance where she claims that any opposition to sharia law amounts to racism and bigotry, she cited a host of Democrats who were there with her supporting this insanity including Rep. Loretta Sanchez, Rep. Judy Chu, California State Controller John Chiang, among others.

And you can see that this is hardly out of character with this member of the Democrat Party.

The only refreshing thing here is that at least Maxine Waters is saying what Barack Hussein Obama clearly believes.

For the factual record to correct this Liar-in–Chief of ours regarding statement 6 above, there is NOTHING in the Sermon of the Mount that recognizes or affirms homosexuality in any way, shape or form.  Nor is there ANYTHING “obscure” when it comes to the condemnation of homosexuality as not only sinful but the very last straw that brings the wrath of God upon any society who embraces homosexuality.  Please read it for yourself.  And in reference to Obama’s statement 7, JESUS SPOKE MORE ABOUT THE REALITY OF HELL THAN ANYONE IN THE WHOLE BIBLE AND NEARLY MORE THAN EVERYONE IN THE BIBLE COMBINED.  Hell is a reality.  The very Book of Romans that Obama so trivializes and demonizes teaches that Jesus died for us so that we don’t have to spend eternity in the very real hell that Barack Obama foolishly mocks.  Please don’t believe what your lying Fool-in-Chief claims if you have any value on your own soul or the souls of your children.

Barack Obama has NO part in true Christianity.  NONE whatsoever.  Whether you want to talk about the nature of the biblical/Christian doctrine of original sin versus Obama’s belief in “the irrepressible force of human goodness“ or whether you want to talk about Obama’s profoundly unbiblical concept of “collective salvation“, Barack Obama has absolutely NO part in the Christianity that he falsely claims and routinely perverts.  And anyone who believes Obama’s lies is going to one day burn in the very hell that Obama denies and Jesus came and violently died to save us from.

And once you’ve “fundamentally transformed” Christianity – just as Jesus prophesied in Matthew 24:5 and 11 that false messiahs would do in His name – you can of course pervert it into a religion that embraces homosexuality and abortion and government-imposed socialism and illegal immigration that Obama has led America into embracing.

We just had leftists try to impose the Muslim call to prayer from the Christian chapel of a university that was ordained and commissioned as an institution of the Christian Gospel by Methodists.  And yet the insane news coverage by these damned dishonest “journalists” decries the university backing down amid the ensuing outcry as a “victory for American intolerance.”  Yet where are these same cowards in Islamic countries where the similar situation of the Lord’s Prayer being broadcast from a Muslim mosque would be met with rabid violence???

Similarly, in spite of the fact that Islamic State had just burned a human being they’d put in a cage ALIVE, leftist university students in a notoriously leftist university were heard chanting the terrorist call “Allahu Akbar!” after they’d voted to demonize Jews.

And public schools under Obama have become sewers of Islam as students are forced to recite that “Allah is Greater!” in school exercises.

The left very clearly has an agenda from the very heart of the devil.  Incredibly, stunningly, they are actually embracing radical Islam even as it is revealing itself as the ugliest worldview since Nazism.  There is simply no question progressive liberalism as a movement is doing this; the only question is, why on earth are they doing something that flies in the face of their stated principles???

I have pointed out the reasons for that hatred by Democrats – who want a holocaust of murdered babies, the institution of homosexual sodomy and the exaltation of the State in place of belief in God, His Word and His Ways – as they impose ANYTHING but Christ and Christianity upon society and as they fight to ensure the defeat of the America that our founding fathers fought to create and Lincoln fought to preserve.  I documented three reasons why liberal Democrats insanely and hypocritically defend and protect Islam even as they attack and undermine Christianity.  The first is found in the words of Jesus about Christians and Christianity:

“If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you.   If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.  Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also.  But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know the One who sent Me.”  — John 15:18-21

Democrats hate Christians and despise Christianity because they hate Jesus.  It is as simple as that and Jesus told us it would happen and why it would happen.  And so while you would think that liberals would oppose the hate and intolerance of Islam that pisses in the eye of all their views as it murders homosexuals and tortures women, they embrace it simply because it’s better to them than the Jesus they hate with every fiber of their being.

The second reason is the stunning and frankly Luciferian arrogance of atheism and secular humanism.  Liberals truly don’t believe that ANYONE actually believes in God.  They believe that everyone has to ultimately think just like they do; and the unwashed masses who “cling to their religion” are just too stupid as herd animals to realize it.  And so they believe with Marx that religion is merely an opiate for the masses – notwithstanding that Chesterton pointed out that in their prideful wickedness they actually got that ass-backwards – and that their economic socialism will turn the radical Muslims – whom of course they insanely repeatedly tell us have nothing to do with either Islam or even religion – to their view through some Obama process of appeasement and negotiation. And the third reason liberals defend jihadist Muslims is that Muslims actually ultimately want to have a government – just like progressive liberalism – a government that has all the power and prerogatives of God or Allah.  And progressive liberals don’t really care what the means is to total government power as long as they have the end of total government power.  Because they arrogantly and foolishly believe they will ultimately get their secular humanist way.

And so here we are, with Democrats insanely arguing that if we don’t like the sharia law that is increasingly going to be stuffed down our throats, it’s only because we’re “bigots.”

Even if women have to dress like the picture I provide in this article in order to practice progressive liberal “tolerance.”

And then there is the Word of God that these wicked, morally perverted liberals with all of their wicked and morally-perverted “-isms” despise:

The Zombie ‘Spirituality’ Of Atheism

The Los Angeles Times ran an interview with one of the atheists who demonstrates himself to be the sort of true fool as only one who denies the reality of God can be.

This guy’s particular hook is that you can be an atheist and “spiritual” too.

Then we see what atheist “spirituality” looks like:

Was it the drug Ecstasy that opened up spirituality for you?

It definitely was. I wouldn’t call that the true experience of self-transcendence that is the focus of the book, but it was profoundly liberating. It convinced me it was possible to have a much better life and be a much better person, and some action was required to figure out how to be more that way more of the time. It’s certainly something you can’t recommend without serious caveats.

Okay, let’s recap.  Any form of “spirituality” that does NOT rely on the sort of drugs that men slip into women’s drinks to make them easy to rape is the “esoteric dunghill of religion.”

This fool Sam Harris teaches that the only path for an atheist to become “spiritual” is to ignore the “serious caveats” that are the obvious results of shutting reality off with drugs.

You need to get the joke that is atheism here: THESE are the people who mock Christians for not living in the real world!!!

There’s nothing new under the sun, the Bible declares, and it sure nailed it with atheists: they’ve been offering this “version” of reality for some time.  In the 1960s it was Timothy Leary with his “Turn on, tune in, drop out” approach.  And so today it is the secular humanist left that is championing the destruction of America through legalized drugs and the drug addiction that will come with it.  Because how in the hell else can these perverted, degenerate people have any chance at being “spiritual” otherwise???

Atheism is parasitic.  It cannot exist unless it has some superior worldview to emulate even as it mocks the very thing that it is emulating.

One example is the first rise of atheism as carried out in a vicious orgy of violence a.k.a. The French Revolution.  One of the leaders of that atheism descent into hell was stabbed to death in his bath by a woman hoping to end the endless beheadings.  And Marat’s death was celebrated in a painting as follows:

That’s all atheism can do: cynically and perversely exploit the genuineness of the very thing it mocks and denies in order to have any pseudo-legitimacy whatsoever.

There is no atheist art.  There is no atheist music.  There is no atheist culture.  There is no atheist morality.  There can be no law based on atheism.  And there very definitely isn’t any atheist “spirituality.”  All they have is an obscene, grotesque mockery.

Augustine wrote, “You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in You.”

The great scientist and mathematician Blaise Pascal said, “There is a God-shaped vacuum in the heart of every man which cannot be filled by any created thing, but only by God, the Creator, made known through Jesus.”

Atheists implicitly accept this God-shaped vacuum in every human heart, this restlessness, that God installed until we find our rest in Him.  But they propose to fill their voids with drugs instead of with the Spirit of the God who made them.

Jesus, Son of Man, Son of God (Part 1): The Fool Says In His Heart There Is No God

What is this class going to be about?  It’s going to be about Jesus according to His words in John 14:6: “I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me.”  This class is going to be about Jesus as the only possible fulfillment of desperate human need.

I titled this, “Jesus, Son of Man, Son of God.”  Let me try to explain why.  The Scriptures clearly teach that Jesus was fully human in every way, human in every way that it is essential to be human, and fully God.  Passages such as Philippians 2:6-8 teach “the kenosis,” the emptying of Jesus as He laid aside aspects of His deity – WHILE REMAINING IN HIS NATURE GOD – in order to become fully human and experience the essence and the angst of human limitation.  How was He able to do this?  The short and simple answer is the Virgin Birth in fulfillment of Isaiah 7:14 and 9:6.  Jesus, according to John 1:1-3, was the Word who was with God and was God.  We’re taught that ALL THINGS CAME INTO BEING BY CHRIST.  And so when we read Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth,” we now know that “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God.  All things came into being by Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.”  And so when we read Genesis 1:27 which says, “God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”

God created man.  But we can be even MORE specific: The Son of God created man.  Christ created man.  Christ, who would assume human image, created that very human image that He knew He would one day assume.  How could Christ assume human image?  Because Christ created man in His image, and more precisely because Christ created man in an image that He could one day assume Himself.

There’s a beautiful, simple poem: He came to die on a cross of wood, but made the hill on which it stood.”

Consider again John 14:6.  No one comes to the Father except through Jesus.  Jesus is the unique answer to the human condition, the only antidote to the fatal disease of sin.  He is THE way, THE truth and THE life.

So the title: Jesus as the Son of Man, in His humanity, shows you what is necessary to live a life that is pleasing to God.  Jesus as a human being showed us what kind of life – THE ONLY LIFE EVER LIVED – can earn/merit/deserve the reward of heaven rather than the judgment of hell.  If anyone thinks he or she is good enough to deserve to go to heaven on their own merit, all he or she has to do is live as perfect a human life as Jesus did.  What we find in studying Jesus’ life is that if you ever had so much as a single sinful THOUGHT, let alone act, you don’t measure up to God’s standard of a righteous life.  Everything Jesus thought and said and did were in perfect alignment with the will of the Father.  YOU try living up to that.  But Jesus in His humanity, in coming to seek and to save us, lived a perfect human life on earth because He knew we could not in our fallen state live the sinless lives a perfect holy God demanded.  As the Son of Man, Jesus lived a perfect human life in our place – the same way that Adam as the first man stood in our place and represented us (but led mankind into sin).  And Jesus in His deity, Jesus as Son of God, showed us what kind of life – AGAIN THE ONLY LIFE EVER LIVED – can gain heaven for any other human being.  In His deity as the Son of God, Jesus was able as GOD ALONE IS ABLE to save the entire human race by uniting in Himself as the Son of Man and the Son of God.

But having said that by way of introduction, let’s step back and consider the alternative to Jesus as “Son of Man, Son of God.”  Let’s suppose that the human race were left to its own devices, and that we were the answer to our own salvation, as secular humanists and atheists claim.  Let’s present the alternative scenario that the human race is the byproduct of meaningless, purposeless, random evolution and take some time to see where this scenario leads mankind in the question, “Where does morality come from?”  I want to argue for God on the basis of the simple fact of moral laws and our resulting moral intuitions .

When I got out of the army my knee was ruined and I was broken more than merely physically.  I was like many who couldn’t understand why God would have allowed me to go through such an ordeal or why He hadn’t healed me.  Frankly, had I had a better grounding in the Scripture, I would have known that God never said that bad things would never happen to His people.  I would have known that God has a plan that weaves things that we consider bad at the time to create an ultimately much greater good for us.  But I was young in years and young in my faith.  And I became bitter.  I went from wondering where God was, to wondering if He cared, to wondering if He was even there at all.

It’s interesting that the Bible never really seriously addresses the objections raised by atheists, other than to say it is fools who say that there is no God.

Here’s a great quote about “intellectuals” and “fools” from George Orwell: “Some ideas are so stupid that only intellectuals believe them.”  It is amazing to contemplate how utterly divorced from reality many – if not most – intellectuals are.

Basically, God is simply presented as a fact of reality in the Bible.  And if you want to know why you should believe in God, all you have to do is look around you and see the purpose and beauty and design of creation (e.g. Romans chapter one).  God is an obvious brute fact, and it is fools who entertain foolish speculations to suppress the truth in their wickedness.  They can’t believe because they won’t believe.  All the evidence in the world won’t change what amounts to a bitter, cynical, poisonous attitude.  I think this is true, and as an example I think that the field of psychology backs it up: you can’t change a heart or mind that doesn’t want to be changed. Until someone is ready to change, all the logic, all the reason, all the facts in the world simply won’t matter.  And I present myself and my weight as an example.  Until I was ready to do what I had to do, NOBODY was going to be able to argue me into doing what I had to do to lose weight and get healthy.

There’s an appropriate line of dialogue that was said many times in Three Stooges episodes: “I can’t see, I can’t see!”  “You’ve got your eyes closed.”  “oh.”  When you are finally ready to open your eyes, you can see all the light you want to.  I was NEVER an atheist, but I had been spiritually traumatized into closing my eyes to God.  And I simply couldn’t see all the reasons I had to believe because I wasn’t looking.  Now I can see so many; but atheists won’t look at all those reasons.  Their eyes are closed.  2 Cor 4:4 takes it even further, pointing out that Satan as “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel.”  Open your eyes.

Last night on my walk, it occurred to me at a certain point as I walked in the dark that I’d better check for coyotes.  Once a coyote had tried to come up from behind and ambush my dog at this point.  So I turned on my flashlight and my blood pressure shot up as I saw a coyote moving toward us.  Only it wasn’t a coyote; it was a plastic bag caught in a shrub at just the right height to fool me.  We tend to see what we expect to see, don’t we?

But let me take you to a realization that I had during my quest for light (while like a “stooge” I was wandering around with my eyes shut).  I realized something important: it occurred to me that if in fact there were no God, and if evolution were true, that there was no real, objective morality – and that I could literally do whatever I wanted no matter how “evil” society claimed it was.  Murder, rape, you name it: there is no ultimate penalty for these things if there is no God who rewards or punishes.

I knew enough about the natural world at that point to understand that it is impossible to look at nature and find any grounds apart from God or religion for morality.  As an example, many matings in the insect and even mammalian world would for us constitute acts of rape.  And in the case of praying mantises or black widows, the females often get even by killing and eating the father of their children as soon as the mating is completed.  I watched a documentary about higher primates that showed a dominant female chimpanzee’s baby dying because she couldn’t produce milk.  As dominant female, what did she do?  She seized the baby of a less-dominant female.  And what happened?  That baby died because the dominant female couldn’t produce milk.  Is that wrong?  That’s NATURE, baby.  In the world of nature, do we arrest lions for crimes: “You murdered that zebra.  We’re going to have to put you in prison for your crime.”  It would be idiotic.  Anyone who understands the nature that humans ostensibly come from according to evolution understands that nature is utterly cold, utterly cruel and utterly amoral.

You can’t give what you don’t got.  Nature can’t “evolve” morality in humans because it never had it to give to begin with.  And the entire history of the natural world screams that cold hard brutal fact.

Does morality come from nature?  Not.  Would you like to depend on the amorality of nature to save you from anything?  I sure wouldn’t.  What about “herd morality”???  Does morality depend on what society says?  When we stand before God, will he turn to an opinion poll to judge us for our sins???

Where does morality come from, then?  Does it come from human government?  We can look at THE two most totalitarian forms of human government in history – communism and fascism – and see that theory get blown apart.  Surely if morality comes from government, then the more control exercised by government the better, right?  It turns out that the more government the WORSE.  Communism is identical with “state atheism”; every officially state atheist government with the exception of the French Revolution has been communist, and every single communist regime has been officially state atheist.  And no form of government has crushed the human spirit with more brutality than communism – which is responsible for the murder of more than 100 million of its own citizens just during peacetime alone.  Communism is the closest thing humans can come to “a boot stomping on a human face – forever.”  We can also consider the Darwinian and atheist project of Nazi fascism.  One of the greatest scholars of fascism, Ernst Nolte, defined fascism as “the practical and violent resistance to transcendence.”  I.e. a transcendent God and an objective, transcendent moral law.  The great French thinker George Steiner noted that “By killing the Jews, Western culture could eradicate those who had ‘invented’ God.”

Proto-Nazi 19th century German scholars such as Julian Wellhausen and Friedrich Delitzsch began in the 19th century with the theological project to undermine God, undermine the Bible and undermine the Jews who wrote the Bible.  Proto-Nazi 19th century German philosophers, such as Friedrich Nietzsche and then Martin Heidegger, savagely undermined any grounds for God, for Christianity, or for any kind of objective moral values.

Nazism was inseparable with the “Gottglaubiger,” the Nazi Party member who declared that he had officially rejected Christianity.  The men closest to Adolf Hitler noted in their personal journals that Hitler was an atheist.  Consider Joseph Goebbels, who in a 1939 diary entry noted a conversation in which Hitler had “expressed his revulsion against Christianity. He wished that the time were ripe for him to be able to openly express that. Christianity had corrupted and infected the entire world of antiquity.”  Hitler said, “Our epoch will certainly see the end of the disease of Christianity.”  And just as Hitler wanted to solve “the Jewish problem,” we find that he also intended to solve “the Christian problem.”  In 1941 Hitler declared: “The war is going to be over. The last great task of our age will be to solve the church problem. It is only then that the nation will be wholly secure.”

Adolf Hitler summed up the ultimate Darwinian philosophy, saying, “If the German Volk is not strong enough and is not sufficiently prepared to offer its own blood for its existence, it should cease to exist and be destroyed by a stronger power.”

What else is Darwinism if not the struggle for survival in which the stronger kill or replace the weaker???

Does morality flow from the power of human government?  Adolf Hitler certainly believed it did.  He said, “We do not want any other god than Germany itself. It is essential to have fanatical faith and hope and love in and for Germany.”  Chairman Mao certainly believed that it did.  He said, “Our God is none other than the masses of the Chinese people. If they stand up and dig together with us, why can’t these two mountains be cleared away?” God is the State.  The State is God.  And whatever the State decides is moral is moral and whatever the State decides is immoral is immoral.  Does that work for you???

The Bible reveals a big problem with “human morality” from the LAST TIME God judged man’s sins: “The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time” (Gen 6:5).  I see this as something that neither nature nor governance can solve.

One of my problems with morality coming from government or human culture is the way morality “evolves.”  I think of the United States and homosexuality.  On April 17, 2008, as epitomized in Barack Obama, morality was the view that: “I believe that marriage is the union between a man and a woman. Now, for me as a Christian — for me — for me as a Christian, it is also a sacred union. God’s in the mix.”  But that view is no longer “moral”: now a person holding to that view is intolerant, bigoted, narrow-minded and cruel.  Now the moral thing to believe according to our culture and recognize that homosexuals’ relationships are every bit as valid as those relationships between a man and a woman and that the moral person must respect the full and equal rights of gay citizens.

I mentioned Nazism’s project to destroy objective, transcendent morality: such morality holds that objective moral laws apply to all times, to all cultures, period.  It is wrong to torture a baby for fun.  It has always been wrong.  It has always been wrong no matter what any culture or any group of people thought about it.  And it will always be wrong even if the whole world says otherwise.  That view of morality has largely been destroyed as much in our world as it was in the world of Nazi Germany.  And it has been replaced with the secular humanist/atheist concept that morality (like everything else) “evolves.”

What makes something “right” or “wrong”?  What makes something “moral” or “immoral”???  If something isn’t moral just because Adolf Hitler or Joseph Stalin said so, why would it be different if Barack Obama – or ANY leader ANYWHERE – said so???  Who makes human rules for humanity?  If it’s some group of humans, just what is it that makes them so superior to the rest of us that they get to make the rules for the rest of us?  And if there is no group of humans that gets to make the rules, then where else would any true moral laws come from???

Is it human nature to merely be a herd animal, which chews its cud and does what the rest of the herd does?  That doesn’t seem to be the way we are, given all the arguing and discussion rather than all the cud-chewing and mindlessly following.

In my own case, to return to my realization as an adrift young man, if there is no God, there ARE no moral rules.  I could do anything I wanted.  No one had the right to tell me that something was right or that something was wrong.  They were merely imposing their own values on me and they didn’t have any more right to make the rules than anybody else.  The Bible described such thinking: “every man did what was right in his own eyes” (Judges 21:25).

What kind of world do we invariably end up with when it is up to human minds to decide what is right and what is wrong???  I think history has already declared that it is a very ugly world.

Is mass human death a tragedy?  Not according to the leaders of big government, who don’t care how many of their own people die as long as they have enough others to continue to do their bidding:

Chairman Mao:

“The atom bomb is nothing to be afraid of,” Mao told Nehru, “China has many people. . . . The deaths of ten or twenty million people is nothing to be afraid of.” A witness said Nehru showed shock. Later, speaking in Moscow, Mao displayed yet more generosity: he boasted that he was willing to lose 300 million people, half of China’s population.”

Chairman Mao:

LEE EDWARDS, CHAIRMAN, VICTIMS OF COMMUNISM MEMORIAL FOUNDATION: In 1959 to 1961 was the so-called “great leap forward” which was actually a gigantic leap backwards in which he tried to collectivize and communize agriculture.

And they came to him after the first year and they said, “Chairman, five million people have died of famine.” He said, “No matter, keep going.” In the second year, they came back and they said, “Ten million Chinese have died.” He said, “No matter, continue.” The third year, 20 million Chinese have died. And he said finally, “Well, perhaps this is not the best idea that I’ve ever had.”

CHANG: When he was told that, you know, his people were dying of starvation, Mao said, “Educate the peasants to eat less. Thus they can benefit – they can fertilize the land.”

I submit to you that we’re seeing the exact same demonically ideological disregard for the lives of one’s own people in Barack Obama with his ObamaCare rollout.  There was no question that the website was not ready, that it would crash, that it was unsafe and that people who trusted its use would be subject to widespread identity theft and hacking.  Obama didn’t care; he cared only about getting the turkey to fly whether it was ready to fly or not out of pure political considerations rather than any concern for the American people.

We’re seeing pure lies pumping out of the Obama White House to justify the fact that the president of the United States lied to the American people and became, in effect due to all his exposure, the most documented liar in the history of the entire human race.  White House officials and their spinners are claiming that there’s nothing about the Affordable Care Act that is causing millions of people to lose their insurance, and they demonize the greedy insurance companies and say that Obama can’t do anything about what the insurance companies do.  That is – just like Obama’s promise ,”If you like your health care plan, you will be able to keep your health care plan. Period. No one will take it away. No matter what.” – a complete lie.  Not only are 15 million Americans finding that out right now, but 93 million more Americans are set to learn it the hard way in January 2014.  The insurance companies are cancelling millions of Americans’ insurance policies because ObamaCare loaded up policies with required regulations that none of these plans can meet.  Again, the White House knew in 2010 that ObamaCare would FORCE insurance companies to cancel over 70% of individual insurance plans within three years of ObamaCare’s implementation.  And so we are now seeing horror stories such as a woman with severe cancer who had not “substandard insurance” but “WORLD CLASS INSURANCE” in mortal danger of losing her insurance and therefore her LIFE because of ObamaCare.

Obama: “No matter, keep going.”  And none of the catastrophe he’s created matters because like Mao Obama is a rabid ideologue who demands his “signature legislation” be implemented now matter how awful it is or how terrible its consequences will be on America and its people.

What I’m trying to tell you is that when it comes to looking to your government for morality, you can’t look at the communists and the fascists – who ought to have THE most moral governments if morality in any way, shape or form comes from government – and say, “that’s just them.”  No government is moral, and morality comes from no government.  Least of all our own as we have now nearly completely abandoned the Judeo-Christian worldview that gave the United States a chance at becoming a moral city on a hill.  No nation that has mindlessly spent itself into well over $200 trillion in unsustainable and unpayable debt has any right to call itself “moral.”

I previously told you how bloody and dark and amoral and indifferent “the world of nature” apart from God was.  Does the morality of human government seem any better?  It has been frequently pointed out that any government that can give rights can just as easily take them away.  Now we are living in a time when what was right has become wrong and what was wrong has become right.

I think of some of Jesus’ most powerful words: “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10).  What did He mean?  Is He referring to people that nature lost?  Is He referring to people who aren’t yet eligible for some government program to help them?  Or is He referring to a far deeper and more fundamental problem with human nature that can’t be transformed by Nature and can’t be transformed by Nurture (i.e. a government nanny state)???

The Bible reveals something that we should all know from our self-introspection:  “ He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end” (Ecc 3:11).  That is that we have eternal souls.  No temporary fix will work for beings that live on forever long after our bodies are dust.  The only solution is an eternal solution; and therefore the only one who can save us is an eternal God.

Nature cannot save us because amoral nature cannot give us what it never had to begin with.  Herd morality, society says morality, or government morality can’t save us because human beings are individuals and not herd animals and because governments are THE most immoral entities on earth rather than the most moral.  And human beings cannot save us because no matter how they present themselves as messiahs, the fact of the matter is that they are fallen human beings tainted by sin and they are merely liars and charlatans and demagogues.

We are a world in desperate need of salvation.  My generation was literally born into a world that had become capable of utterly destroying itself within a matter of minutes with nuclear annihilation.  And that threat continues to hang over this world that common sense assures will one day erupt into WW3.  We need a Savior.  We need a Messiah.  And no human government and no human leader can take the place of the true Savior of the world that the world needs – Jesus of Nazareth.

Atheist Country Japan Smashed By Tsunami

That headline is a deliberate provoker.  But please let me explain why I used that headline before you erupt one way or another.

First of all, Japan is in fact one of the most atheistic countries in the world:

And Japan certainly got hit with a monsterous tsunami:

As I write this, I hear that there are 88,000 people missing in Japan.

So there is little question that the title for this article is factually completely accurate.

But is Japan’s unbelief the reason why Japan just got hit with an awful tsunami?

My answer is, “How on earth should I know?”

God doesn’t explain to me why He does a lot of things.  I think He figures I’m too dumb to understand His infinite mind and the infinite complexity of His plan for an incredibly complex world filled with going on 7 billion souls.  And He’s probably right.

I am familiar with Christian “leaders” (I put that in quotes because neither of these men are on my list of Christian leaders) such as Jerry Falwall or Pat Robertson have essentially stated that acts of human destruction such as 9/11 or acts of natural destruction such as Hurricane Katrina and New Orleans were acts of divine judgment for homosexuality.

And they might have been such judgment for such sin, I suppose.  But I doubt if God told Falwell or Robertson any more than He told me.  For one thing, if these men were acting as God’s prophets, God would have told them BEFORE the disasters happened in order to forewarn the people to repent.  That’s the rather clear prophetic pattern of Scripture.  That’s kind of what makes it “prophetic.”

Me?  I don’t pray for God’s destructive violence to destroy my ideological or religious enemies.  Let me explain why.

In a word, I don’t want God to ruthlessly punish others for their sins for fear that God will ruthlessly punish me for mine.  You see, it turns out that I’m not perfect either.

That’s part of a detailed solution to the so-called “problem of evil.”  When the human race fell into sin (as recorded in Genesis), it affected the entire created order (see Romans 8:22).  Evil has become part of the human condition.  And there are literally billions of degrees of evil in the world.  And – unless He destroys the whole world (as He has done and as He will one day do again) – just where is God supposed to draw the line?

What we tend to want is for God to judge everyone who is at least slightly more evil than we are.  But why should that be God’s standard?  But maybe God should obliterate you and all of your family and friends, too.  It’s His universe, after all; not yours.  You don’t get to make the rules in God’s universe.

There’s an interesting passage from Jesus in Luke 13:1-5:

Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”

There is no question: God sovereingly rules over the universe.  And we know that God judges the nations and individual people for sin (see Romans 3).  But only rarely – as recorded even in Scripture (e.g. Psalm 73, why do the wicked prosper?) – do we know the details.

We also know that God is patient.  We know from the Old Testament that God will literally wait hundreds of years before He brings judgment.  And we know from the New Testament (2 Peter 3:9) that God is patient, not wanting any to perish.

We also know that God often holds His sons and daughters by faith to a much higher account (Hebrews 12:5-11).  Just as a good Christian father may not concern himself with other people’s children, but his own had better tow the line.

We will never know this side of eternity why many terrible things happen.  Or why God judged this nation or that individual and spared another.

But we certainly can look upon a great diaster and pause in our own lives to take a look at ourselves and at our own nation, and tremble.  Because what happened to “them” can easily overtake “us” – whoever “they” are or “we” are.  And we all of us need to be ready to meet our Maker.

If we all lived as though death were a postential heartbeat away, I do believe we would live in a much better world.

I look at the many major earthquakes and the disasters they are causing as a sign that we are truly in the last days.  Jesus told us in Matthew 24:7 that ethnic groups (the word is “ethnos”) would rise against ethnic groups, and that there would be famines and earthquakes erupting all over.  And in verse 8 He spoke of them as birth pangs, meaning that as the end came, they would get more and more severe. 

There are certainly famines and fears of famines galore.  That is one of the key realities behind the massive unrest in the Middle East (see also here).

It is a fact that at the beginning of the 20th century, there was at most one major earthquake a year.  Now there are “big ones” erupting all over creation.  There was another huge and deadly earthquake just last month in New Zealand.  And we’re even seeing a rash of earthquake activity in the midwest(see also here).

Jesus also spoke of great catastrophic signs in the waves (e.g. tsunamis) in Luke.  And in Luke 21:8 Jesus said, “Now when you see these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

Bottom line: we ought to be looking around, and we ought to be straightening up and flying right.  And if you are a perfect, sinless human being, good for you; but if you have ever sinned so much as once in your life, if you have ever once violated even your own conscience and standard, let alone a perfect, holy God’s, you had better fall at the feet of the one Savior for the human race (John 14:6) and embrace the Lamb of God (John 1:29-34).

Let me provide my own parable to explain a powerful biblical reality.  It’s called the ants on the elephant’s back:

Two ants of different species happen to bump into each other as they crawl across the back of a huge bull elephant.  The larger ant says to the smaller one, “I can’t help by notice I’m larger than you.  That means that I’m closer to being the same size as the elephant we’re crawling on than you.”  Well, in a way, that larger ant is right; but his comparison is nevertheless utterly ridiculous.  Why?  Because the elephant is so enormous compared to the size of either ant – let alone the amount of difference between the ants’ sizes – that a comparison is meaningless.  And that’s the way it is with human righteousness and God’s righteousness.  Billy Graham is considerably more righteous than, say, a Skid Row bum.  But the difference in their personal degress of righteousness is as nothing compared to the awesome holiness and perfection of God.  And you might think you’re better than someone else.  You might even be right.  But you are comparing yourself to the wrong subject.

When we stand before God, we will answer to how we compared to the righteousness of God.  “Be holy, as I am holy” (Leviticus 20:26, 1 Peter 1:13-16), God told us.  And just as we bear His perfect image (Genesis 1:26-27), we bear the responsibility to living up to His perfect character.

Only Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life (Hebrws 4:14-15).  Even the Quran affirms this (Quran 40:55; 48:1-2).  Jesus, fully God, God the Son, assumed a human nature and lived a perfect life on earth.  And He died for our sins so that we could have His perfection by faith.  He became our substitute.  That’s what “Lamb of God” means.

You need that gift of divine grace.  I need that gift of divine grace.  And the people of Japan desperately need it today.

I pray for those who are in Japan.  I pray for their deliverance from both the tsunami and from their unbelief.  And I will join with many other Christians who will send relief to the Japanese people, with prayers that they will look not at me, but at the Jesus who changed my heart and my life, and inspired me to give to others.

In the terrible tragedy of Tucson, Arizona, we have a tale of two victims.

Given the vicious and hateful liberal denunciation of conservatives, it becomes fitting to see what the real lives of conservatives versus liberals actually looks like:

The self-described liberal and military veteran became distraught Saturday, authorities said, when he began ranting at the end of a televised town hall meeting about the tragedy. He took a picture of a local tea party leader and yelled “you’re dead” before calling others in the church a bunch of “whores,” authorities said.

Deputies arrested him and called a doctor. They decided he should be taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation, said Pima County sheriff’s spokesman Jason Ogan said.

Then we found out about the conservative victim – described, in fact, as “very conservative” (and see also here from a different source) – Judge John Roll:

Last week he was called “fair” and “just.” Today, Judge John Roll, the federal judge killed in the Tucson shooting, is being called a hero.

Police say security footage from the Safeway store where the shooting occurred shows accused gunman Jared Loughner walking up to Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and shooting here at close range — the video shows only a wisp of her hair, however. Loughner then turns and begins firing indiscriminately into the crowd.

“He wheels this direction and that direction firing,” Chris Nanos, a captain with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department who has viewed the video, told the Wall Street Journal.

The Journal explains what happens next in the video with 63-year-old Judge Rolls:

As the shooting starts, the video shows Judge Roll pushing another man, Rob Barber, onto the ground, Mr. Nanos said. “It looks to us as though he is pushing against Ron Barber to move him out of the way.” Both men fall to the ground; both are shot. The judge was shot in the back and died.

The New York Times quotes Richard Kastigar, another investigator in the case, in explaining the incident this way:

The judge guides Mr. Barber to the ground, shields him with his body, and then tries to push himself and Mr. Barber away from the gunman, who was no more than three to four feet away as he fired, Mr. Kastigar said.

“He pushes Mr. Barber with his right hand and guides him with his left hand. The judge was on top of him and is covering up Mr. Barber, literally lying on top of him, and his back was exposed,” Mr. Kastigar said.

“It’s pretty evident to me that Judge Roll was a hero … if Judge Roll had not pushed Mr. Barber his wounds might have been fatal,” Nanos told the Journal . “Judge Roll‘s actions are of a man trying to save another man’s life.”

I’m sorry to have to taint the memory of a great man like Judge John Roll – who should be celebrated as a magnificent example of a human being – by juxtaposing him with a liberal swine.  But it’s time to start shouting down the left which has been screaming at us like the lunatics they are for decades.

Two hours after the shooting, liberal Paul Krugman wrote a piece essentially claiming that conservatives like Judge John Roll are hateful and evil.  And he was guided entirely and exclusively by his hatred for his ideological opponents in that piece.

If anything, the Tucson shooting revealed that it is liberals who are hateful and evil.

Conservative Judge John Roll died saving a life while a liberal who survived screamed “you’re dead” to another conservative.  Conservative Judge John Roll was “a deeply religious man” – which for the record is typical of conservatives as opposed to liberals – contrasted with the atheistic nihilism of murderer Jared Loughner.

As long as Paul Krugman is allowed to express his propaganda and hate on pages of the so-called “newspaper of record,” I will be entirely justified in saying that liberals are vile.  Because they support him and the so-called “journalists” like him.

Please don’t bother to criticize me from the political left unless you can document that you have publicly called for the New York Times to fire Paul Krugman.
