Our Joke-in-Chief: There Was A Time When A President’s State Of the Union Speech Was Actually Serious

January 20, 2015

I listen to what Obama’s White House staff is saying Obama will blather in his State of the Union address tonight.  And all I can do is think about this fool’s budgets.

Barack Obama is a man who is so profoundly demon-possessed, so out of touch with anything resembling “reality,” that he had his budget defeated 99-0 in a Senate that was under the control of his own damn party:

Obama budget defeated 99-0 in Senate
By Stephen Dinan The Washington Times – May 16, 2012, 04:27PM

President Obama’s budget suffered a second embarrassing defeat Wednesday, when senators voted 99-0 to reject it.

Coupled with the House’s rejection in March, 414-0, that means Mr. Obama’s budget has failed to win a single vote in support this year.

Republicans forced the vote by offering the president’s plan on the Senate floor.

You want some more of that demon-possessed radical deluded whackjob otherwise known as “Mr. President,” do you?

Obama budget defeated 413-2; plans are unpopular on both sides
By Stephen Dinan – The Washington Times – Wednesday, April 9, 2014

Two brave Democrats voted for President Obama’s budget on Wednesday, preventing another unanimous defeat for their party leader.

The rest of the chamber, however, had other plans, sending Mr. Obama’s plan to a devastating 413-2 defeat as most Democrats joined Republicans in rejecting the fiscal year 2015 blueprint.

House Republicans staged the vote to be able to argue that Mr. Obama’s plans are unpopular on both sides of the aisle, though Democrats said it was a useless vote and said the plan — which Republicans wrote to reflect the president’s budget — wasn’t actually Mr. Obama’s own plan.

The GOP staged similar votes in 2012, and Mr. Obama’s plan was unanimously defeated in both the House and Senate that year. Last year, Mr. Obama submitted his budget months later than the deadline, which meant the House didn’t even have his plan in time for its own vote.

Not ONE of Obama’s demoniac budgets has ever even come CLOSE to smelling anything resembling reality before.  This is the FIRST president in our history who is so completely possessed by Beelzebub that he has NEVER been able to pass even ONE of his communist budgets.

Hell, a good share of the time our Joke-in-Chief didn’t even bother to actually show up with his blathering nonsense.

And that’s the model this jerk, I mean this joke is going to follow tonight.

NOBODY believes that Obama’s speech is going to have any contact with actual reality.  Nobody thinks that Obama’s speech will reflect a serious man who actually wants to get something done in Washington.

No, for Barack Obama, it’s about finger-pointing, dividing, trying to demagogue and pit one side or one interest group against another.  And that is ALL.

He is presenting himself as a “Robin Hood” according to the leftist newspapers.  That’s bullcrap.  Number one, Robin Hood actually DID something; he didn’t just stand in front of a teleprompter and read unrealistic gibberish to his religious worshipers.  But it goes deeper than that; because contrary to the leftist propaganda, Robin Hood NEVER “stole from the rich and gave to the poor.”  NO!!!  If you actually bothered to read the stories, Robin Hood stole from the GOVERNMENT that had confiscatory taxes and gave to the poor.  Robin Hood stole from the Sheriff of Nottingham, dumbasses.  Robin Hood stole from Eric Damn Holder.

How much is Obama going to mention the fiasco of his foreign policy?  This is a man who as recently as September was praising his administration’s policy effects in Yemen; Yemen is right now spiraling bloodily out of control.  Obama took credit for Yemen which means he assumed responsibility for what actually DID happen; it is happening BECAUSE OF OBAMA’S POLICIES!  And we CONTINUE to see Yemen spiral out of control as it descends into the terrorism that Obama’s policies have invoked around the world by emboldening our enemies and weakening our friends.  Which is why the very DAY our Fool-in-Chief spoke, history once again revealed Obama for the fool he is as terrorists seized control of the presidential palace in the Yemen that Obama idiotically and dishonestly claimed was a symbol of his policy’s success!!!

The same thing in Russia: Obama mocked Mitt Romney when Romney warned about the threat of an emboldened Russia.  But what Obama was really doing to anyone who knows a damn thing was pointing in a mirror and screeching, “What a damn FOOL you are!”  Because reality is a fist that keeps punching Obama in the mouth.  Russia is as vicious as it ever was because America voted for a weak coward as its commander-in-chief.  Even the left’s biggest backers recognize what a fool Obama is when it comes to Russia as it is the greatest existential threat to Europe and the final vestiges of democracy in Europe.  And Russia just signed a defense pact with Iran that will guarantee that Iran has the ballistic missiles needed to threaten the United States that will further motivate them to build nuclear weapons.

When Armageddon comes upon us, just remember it was our Clear-and-Present-Danger-in-Chief who made it all possible as he rabidly refuses to allow Iran to be TOUCHED until AFTER they have built their nukes.

This is what our Clear-and-Present-Danger Incarnate said in 2014 in his State of the Union:

“If Iran’s leaders do not seize this opportunity, then I will be the first to call for more sanctions, and stand ready to exercise all options to make sure Iran does not build a nuclear weapon,” Obama said. “But if Iran’s leaders do seize the chance — and we’ll know soon enough — then Iran could take an important step to rejoin the community of nations, and we will have resolved one of the leading security challenges of our time without the risks of war.”

A full year later – a good twelve months MORE than “soon enough” – Barack Obama has again proved himself a liar as he not only is not “the first to call for more sanctions,” but is rabidly determined to fight to the last American life and veto any bill that would protect the United States and the world from the nuclear weapons that Iran will surely build because there are no consequences for them not to build them.

At this point, Barack Obama is a danger and a disgrace not only to the United States of America, but to the human race and to every single carbon based life form.

Barack Hussein Obama is a demagogue without shame, without integrity, without honesty, without virtue and without honor.  He is leading America into a darkness in which it will never escape because he cares NOTHING for our Constitution or our Separation of Powers or our political process or our democracy.  And the office of president will be a synonym for “tyrant” forever after as a result of the stench of his regime.  Obama epitomizes “tyrant” both in his own character – as he issues sweeping executive power-grabs that have abolished our Constitution, our political system and our democracy while denying he’s doing so – and in his pathetic and apathetic weakness to dictators abroad as he emboldens them to ever more tyranny as he does NOTHING.

The beast is coming, and it is Barack Obama who has laid down the red carpet to welcome him.

Even More Defiant Of Reality Than Adolf Hitler: Evil, Insane Obama Budget Rejected By House 413-2 (That Means Democrats Too, Bozo)

April 14, 2014

Is Barack Obama a “leader” or is he Adolf Hitler raving crazily in his bunker having led his nation into ruin with nobody listening to his crazed idiocy?

If a budget is any indication – and yeah, it really IS given the fact that governments must function on budgets – Obama is actually more out-of-touch with reality and more ignored by his fellow fascists than Hitler was in his bunker.

You might want to read my article:

Obama, After His 2012 Budget Was Voted Down 97-0 and His 2013 Budget Was Voted Down 414-0 BY EVERY DEMOCRAT, Has Chutzpah To Demonize GOP Budget As ‘Radical’

to see what a crazed, radical ideologue fascist Obama has been from the outset of his Führership.  He has been a man who has pathologically refused to work toward any kind of consensus whatsoever – frankly even within his own Nazi Party – depending instead on lies, demagoguery, slander and executive orders.

In that 2012 article, after documenting the facts, I wrote:

So the only meaningful question is whether we should be talking about Obama’s 0-97 “support” last year or his 0-414 “endorsement” this year.

Let’s just get one thing clear, Barack Obama, who had his 2012 budget handed back to him with 0-97 support from his own Senate and his 2013 budget handed back to him with 0-414 support from Congress, is frankly un-American and pathologically socialist.

A statement from Obama when the Republican leadership approached him in January 2009 says it all:

After the last election, when the “so called Messiah” was elected, John McCain had the temerity to ask him if he was going to work with the republicans. Obama said, “I won the election, John. Elections have consequences.”  This statement was the precursor of what was to come.

Obama proceeded to ram through a massively failed $862 billion stimulus (actually $3.27 trillion, according to a CBO analysis) and a wildly unconstitutional, wildly failed and wildly unpopular ObamaCare as his two signature acts.  Obama rammed these monstrosities through larded with pork, partisan boondoggles and gimmicks of every kind with virtually ZERO Republican support.

I just want you to understand what a dishonest and frankly evil man Barack Obama is before moving forward.

That said, let’s see what this radical socialist ideologue – who has not received so much as even a SINGLE vote from his own party in two years of lies and demagoguery, has to say about Paul Ryan’s budget

Has Obama learned a damn thing?  Is this fool capable of learning a damn thing?

So Close: House Rejects Obama Budget 413-2
Guy Benson | Apr 10, 2014

UPDATE– The House has passed the Ryan budget 219-205. The ‘Path to Prosperity’ received 217 more votes than the president’s budget. You can read the GOP’s plan here. My summary is here.
*** Original Post ***
Last we checked in on the budget battle in DC, our post-partisan president was smirkingly denouncing House Republicans’ fiscal blueprint as a “stink burger” and “meanwich.” The wit! The erudition! With Congress’ lower chamber poised to pass Paul Ryan’s ‘Path to Prosperity‘ — which reduces the rate of federal spending increases, reforms Medicare and balances within ten years — the House first took up President Obama’s budget proposal. Might this qualify as a “stink burger?”

The House on Wednesday handily rejected a GOP budget alternative based on President Obama’s 2015 spending blueprint. It was defeated 2-413, following a pattern seen in recent years in House votes to overwhelmingly reject Obama’s budget proposals. Today’s vote is just slightly better than the unanimous vote against Obama’s budget in 2012. The two “yes” votes came from Reps. Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio) and Jim Moran (D-Va.), who is retiring…An Obama administration official agreed with House Democrats that the GOP substitute was not an accurate reflection of Obama’s budget plan. “The Administration would welcome votes on the actual provisions of President’s Budget,” said Office of Management and Budget spokesman Steve Posner. “That is not what this amendment represents, and a vote for or against this amendment is not a vote for or against the President’s policies.” But Republicans rejected these complaints, and defended the idea of consider Obama’s latest proposal as a way to let the House consider all budget options. “Any time the president of the United States takes the time to produce a budget, it merits a debate,” Mulvaney said. “I think it’s a valid discussion we should have every year.” Mulvaney also offered the president’s budget as a mock alternative in 2012, which was rejected 0-414. Republicans could not offer it last year because the president’s budget was submitted late — instead, Mulvaney tried to offer a blank sheet of paper to represent Obama’s budget, but it was not made in order.

I must have missed Mulvaney’s blank page budget gambit last year, which deserves points for being amusing and for highlighting the fact that the Obama White House can’t be bothered to meet statutory budget deadlines. He might try the same thing as a proxy for Senate Democrats’ FY 2015 proposal, which does not and will not exist. Harry Reid’s caucus has declined to participate in the legally-mandated budgeting process for the fourth time in five years. The White House and House Democrats can claim that the GOP’s version of Obama’s budget wasn’t an “accurate reflection” of the original document, but it essentially lifted Obama’s entire vision and dropped it into legislative language. In reality, all but two Democrats — one of whom was this guy — chose not to attach themselves to the president’s plan, which calls for the following:

President Obama’s 2015 Budget Proposal:(1) Never balances. Ever.

(2) Increases spending, ballooning the national debt by $8.3 trillion over the budget window — $1 trillion beyond than the unsustainable current trajectory. Under Obama’s plan, the red ink on the above chart would be steeper, sooner.

(3) Raises taxes by an additional $1.8 trillion (and again, never balances).

(4) Makes no attempt at reforming the gathering tidal wave of unfunded promises that Obama has admitted in the past are driving a long-term debt crisis.

To their credit, and unlike their Senate colleagues, House Democrats will offer an alternative budget of their own. But Phil Kerpen notices that it’s missing something:

The section on Obamacare ends with this defiant statement of policy: “the law of the land should support making affordable health care coverage available to every American family, and therefore the Affordable Care Act should not be repealed.” And that’s it. Don’t repeal it. Don’t acknowledge any of the problems. Don’t do anything to help any of the people whose lives have been thrown into disarray. And certainly don’t do anything to “fix it.” It couldn’t be clearer: members who vote for this budget think Obamacare does not need to be fixed. Indeed it’s hard to read the Democratic budget as anything but a celebration of Obamacare exactly as it is – and that adds insult to the many Americans who have been injured by the law.

In other words, House Democrats’ budget reflects the opinion of those six percent of Americans who believe Obamacare is working well as is. For all their public assurances about “fixing Obamacare” (which didn’t pay dividends for them in Florida), Democrats oppose one of the most popular fixes to the law, their party chairwoman can’t think of a single change she’d make, and their governing document offers zero fixes. Seems legit.

Obama is a creature – a monster, to be more specific – of his own fascist party.  In 2011, I documented the fact that:

Today Is the 900th Day Since Democrats Bothered To Pass a Budget

Well after that, Democrats FINALLY bothered to obey the damn law and the Constitution just long enough to actually pass a budget which they had refused to do for YEARS.

Democrats are people – and this is simply a fact beyond legitimate question – who defy the law, defy process, defy the Constitution (specifically in this case Article I of the Constitution).  And then they fascistically govern by tyranny rather than by any legitimate rule of law.

Get Your Spiritual House In Order. Because The Beast Is Coming And You Don’t Want To Be With The Huge Majority That Takes His Mark.

November 7, 2012

I write this as I hear the report from Fox News that Ohio has just been called for Obama.

Amazingly, and I would suggest incredibly insanely, the American people have decided that the status quo – Barack Obama as president, a Senate that hasn’t bothered to pass a budget in over three years, and a House of Representatives that is even more firmly under Republican control – is the path to a great and glorious future.  Part of me wants to cry, but I dare say the larger part wants to start laughing my dang head off at the sheer idiocy of the American electorate.

As I contemplate a second Obama term, a couple of quotes come to mind:

A journalist named Stephen Laurant had been jailed circa 1935 for questioning Nazism:

I am writing this from cell 24. Outside a new Germany is being created. Many millions are rejoicing. Hitler is promising everyone precisely what they want. I think when they wake to their sobering senses, they will find they have been led by the nose and duped by lies.”

And then one from Jewish doctor Herta Knotwolf:

“So many worship him as their savior, their redeemer from unbearable poverty.  Many are filled with some have worry, but all are united in the words, ‘Now things will change.”

Ah, yes, hope and change.

I wonder how that worked out for old Herta.  Because things very certainly DID change.  I mean, she was certainly spot on about that part, right?

This isn’t about intelligence; it’s about moral intelligence.  In the 1930s when the German people were busy electing the Nazi Party and Adolf Hitler to power, they were the most educated, scientific and literate people on the face of the earth.  Versus the people of the United States, who frankly have never been more stupid in their nation’s entire history.

There simply comes a point in the life of every nation and even every civilization where there is an overwhelming desire to commit suicide and the people give in to that desire.  And those peoples may not have thought that was what they were doing when they made the fatal decisions that resulted in their destruction, but suicide is precisely what they ultimately chose.

And it’s what the United States of America just decided to do.

Our real national debt is now already trillions of dollars beyond the $222 trillion that it was reported as being about three months ago.

Is that $222 trillion number new to you?  Here’s an article for you:

Blink! U.S. Debt Just Grew by $11 Trillion
By Laurence Kotlikoff and Scott Burns Aug 8, 2012 3:30 PM PT

Republicans and Democrats spent last summer battling how best to save $2.1 trillion over the next decade. They are spending this summer battling how best to not save $2.1 trillion over the next decade.

In the course of that year, the U.S. government’s fiscal gap — the true measure of the nation’s indebtedness — rose by $11 trillion.

The fiscal gap is the present value difference between projected future spending and revenue. It captures all government liabilities, whether they are official obligations to service Treasury bonds or unofficial commitments, such as paying for food stamps or buying drones.

Some question whether “official” and “unofficial” spending commitments can be added together. But calling particular obligations “official” doesn’t make them economically more important. Indeed, the government would sooner renege on Chinese holding U.S. Treasuries than on Americans collecting Social Security, especially because the U.S. can print money and service its bonds with watered-down dollars.

For its part, economic theory sees through labels and views a country’s official debt for what it is — a linguistic construct devoid of real economic content. In contrast, the fiscal gap is theoretically well-defined and invariant to the choice of labels. Each labeling choice changes the mix of obligations between official and unofficial, but leaves the total unchanged.

Dangerous Growth

The U.S. fiscal gap, calculated (by us) using theCongressional Budget Office’s realistic long-term budget forecast — the Alternative Fiscal Scenario — is now $222 trillion. Last year, it was $211 trillion. The $11 trillion difference — this year’s true federal deficit — is 10 times larger than the official deficit and roughly as large as the entire stock of official debt in public hands.

This fantastic and dangerous growth in the fiscal gap is not new. In 2003 and 2004, the economists Alan Auerbach and William Gale extended the CBO’s short-term forecast and measured fiscal gaps of $60 trillion and $86 trillion, respectively. In 2007, the first year the CBO produced the Alternative Fiscal Scenario, the gap, by our reckoning, stood at $175 trillion. By 2009, when the CBO began reporting the AFS annually, the gap was $184 trillion. In 2010, it was $202 trillion, followed by $211 trillion in 2011 and $222 trillion in 2012.

So, based on that actual debt increasing by $11 trillion in one year and three full months passing since the announcement of said debt, that figure is now $222 trillion plus an additional $2.75 trillion.  So please don’t stare at the zeros as they whiz by or your eyeballs will pop out and it is no easy job trying to stick them back into your skull.

And with an Obama who has increased the “official” national debt by sixty percent in only four years, along with a Democrat Senate that hasn’t bothered to pass a budget in well over three years (it’s been 1,259 days since Harry Reid’s Senate passed a budget back on April 23 of 2009), and a Republican-controlled House that has already shown they will not abandon their agenda or their constituents, well, that’s your team who will take on looming disaster.

We just elected our own destruction.  Taxmaggedom is an example of this dilemma we just voted to perpetuate: they’ll probably be able to kick the can of economic calamity down the road for another few months, but that calamity will continue to hang over our heads like a shrapnel-loaded bomb waiting to blow up in our national face.

I know many of you love suspense, but what’s going to happen is “disaster” will be wearing Harlem Globetrotter uniforms and coming from every direction while Team Obama will be dressed in Washington Generals uniforms.  And by the end of the game, Disaster will have made America look incredibly stupid.

We’re a hopelessly fractured nation under Obama.  And just to try to describe that in election night terms, Obama will be the first president in history to be reelected by a smaller electoral college majority than he was elected with when he first became president, and as I write this Obama is actually over two-hundred thousand votes behind in the popular vote.  Not that it will matter to Obama, who will view his victory as a mandate.

Click here if you would like to see what a “mandate” actually looks like.

And that division and bitterness and inability to solve any of our crises – which was worse than it has EVER been these last four years under Obama – will get worse.  I promise you.  And that is because we, like the locusts, have no leader; rather, we have a demagogue who masquerades as a leader.  He is capable only of blaming others while refusing to accept any responsibility for pretty much anything.  We’re going to be paying dearly for that.

I don’t know how to tell you this, America.  You deserve to suffer for your stupidity.  And you’re going to get what you deserve.  Because this is still God damn America, full speed ahead to hell.

By the time Barack Hussein Obama leaves office in 2016, America will be the proverbial headless chicken.  We might still be technically on our feet, but we’re going to be dead.  Unless you’re reaching into your pocket as we speak to pay that $224.75 trillion our country owes, that is.  Anyone?  Is that crickets I hear?

We are a nation that cannot even POSSIBLY begin to come together to solve our problems.  And the reelection of the most partisan and most divisive president to ever lead America is all you need to know to realize that the United States of America will NEVER be able to come together.  Until Antichrist comes along to sweep the same fools off their feet who were swept off their feet by Obama.

How does Antichrist come to power?  Revelation chapter six describes the scenario: a complete global economic collapse, wars on top of wars as nation and ethnic group fight nation and ethnic group to the death over resources and grudges, famine and mass death will characterize the world that Antichrist will ride to save on his white horse.

I look at that $224.75 trillion debt, I look at a European failed experiment in socialism that is teetering on the brink of collapse, and I feel in my gut that Revelation 6 isn’t very far away from the real world.

Antichrist will literally be worshiped by the entire world.  Why?  Because he will appear to have all the answers, and people will look at what the world had been like before the beast came along to save them, and behold the vision that the Antichrist shows them, and literally the entire world will belong to this coming tyrant.

The interesting thing is that absolutely everything we know about this coming Antichrist screams “big government.”  The Antichrist will be the ultimate big government socialist.  Period.   If you are a typical liberal who admires the United Nations, well, your future object of worship will literally BE the United Nations.  The entire planet will rally behind this man.  If you think that the government ought to have a stronger hand in the economy, worry no more: because the government of the Antichrist will have complete control over anything that has anything whatsoever to do with the economy.

Oh, Obama is going to fail something fierce, but you Democrats can already breathe a future sigh of relief right now: because the Antichrist you will soon be worshiping will fulfill your wildest dreams.

The Antichrist will also be the quintessential politician.

The Book of Daniel applies the term “wisdom” to both Daniel and the coming Antichrist.  Daniel was given wisdom to understand riddles and unravel them; Antichrist will have the wisdom to understand riddles and therefore tie the truth up in knots such that no human being will be able to penetrate his facade of lies and deceit.

He’s coming.  And he’s going to be here very soon.  And if you haven’t already made your decision for Jesus Christ, you will fall prey to the beast’s wisdom and you will worship him and you will take his mark.

Are you dismayed over the election last night?

Don’t be.  Read this:

An old missionary couple had been working in Africa for years and were  returning to New York to retire. They had no pension; their health was  broken; they were defeated, discouraged, and afraid. They discovered  they were booked on the same ship as President Teddy Roosevelt, who was  returning from one of his big-game hunting expeditions.

No one paid any attention to them. They watched the fanfare that  accompanied the President’s entourage, with passengers trying to catch a  glimpse of the great man. As the ship moved across the ocean, the old  missionary said to his wife, “Something is wrong.” “Why should we have  given our lives in faithful service for God in Africa all these many  years and have no one care a thing about us? Here this man comes back  from a hunting trip and everybody makes much over him, but nobody gives  two hoots about us.”

“Dear, you shouldn’t feel that way”, his wife said. He replied “I can’t  help it; it doesn’t seem right.”

When the ship docked in New York, a band was waiting to greet the  President. The mayor and other dignitaries were there. The papers were  full of the President’s arrival. No one noticed this missionary couple.  They slipped off the ship and found a cheap flat on the East Side,  hoping the next day to see what they could do to make a living in the  city.

That night the man’s spirit broke. He said to his wife, “I can’t take  this; God is not treating us fairly”. His wife replied, “Why don’t you  go in the bedroom and tell that to the Lord?”

A short time later he came out from the bedroom, but now his face was  completely different. His wife asked, “Dear, what happened?” “The Lord  settled it with me”, he said. “I told Him how bitter I was that the  President should receive this tremendous homecoming, when no one met us  as we returned home. And when I finished, it seemed as though the Lord  put His hand on my shoulder and simply said;

“But you’re not home yet.”

America isn’t your home.

America has been hijacked by people who are determined to worship the beast and to force the country to worship the beast with them.

It’s sad, of course.  There’s no question it’s sad.  And you might feel sick, broken, defeated, discouraged and afraid.

But this isn’t your home.

And the same God who forewarned us about the world that would worship Antichrist also told us about a wonderful eternity that awaits all those who have placed their trust not in human government but in the Lamb of God.

If you still feel discouraged, go to your Bible and cheat: turn to the last page of Revelation to see who wins.

Harvard Professor Provides Systematic And Scathing Take Down Of Obama’s Entire Presidency: Obama’s Gotta Go

August 21, 2012

The following isn’t a takedown of Obama for merely failing to turn the economy around; it is a scathing indictment of Obama’s entire premise for his 2008 entire campaign and failed presidency:

Niall Ferguson: Obama’s Gotta Go
Aug 19, 2012 1:00 AM EDT
Why does Paul Ryan scare the president so much? Because Obama has broken his promises, and it’s clear that the GOP ticket’s path to prosperity is our only hope.

I was a good loser four years ago. “In the grand scheme of history,” I wrote the day after Barack Obama’s election as president, “four decades is not an especially long time. Yet in that brief period America has gone from the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. to the apotheosis of Barack Obama. You would not be human if you failed to acknowledge this as a cause for great rejoicing.”

Newsweek

Despite having been—full disclosure—an adviser to John McCain, I acknowledged his opponent’s remarkable qualities: his soaring oratory, his cool, hard-to-ruffle temperament, and his near faultless campaign organization.

Yet the question confronting the country nearly four years later is not who was the better candidate four years ago. It is whether the winner has delivered on his promises. And the sad truth is that he has not.

In his inaugural address, Obama promised “not only to create new jobs, but to lay a new foundation for growth.” He promised to “build the roads and bridges, the electric grids, and digital lines that feed our commerce and bind us together.” He promised to “restore science to its rightful place and wield technology’s wonders to raise health care’s quality and lower its cost.” And he promised to “transform our schools and colleges and universities to meet the demands of a new age.” Unfortunately the president’s scorecard on every single one of those bold pledges is pitiful.

COVER STORY: Obama has broken his promises, and it’s clear that the GOP ticket’s path to prosperity is our only hope bit.ly/QQLouG

In an unguarded moment earlier this year, the president commented that the private sector of the economy was “doing fine.” Certainly, the stock market is well up (by 74 percent) relative to the close on Inauguration Day 2009. But the total number of private-sector jobs is still 4.3 million below the January 2008 peak. Meanwhile, since 2008, a staggering 3.6 million Americans have been added to Social Security’s disability insurance program. This is one of many ways unemployment is being concealed.

In his fiscal year 2010 budget—the first he presented—the president envisaged growth of 3.2 percent in 2010, 4.0 percent in 2011, 4.6 percent in 2012. The actual numbers were 2.4 percent in 2010 and 1.8 percent in 2011; few forecasters now expect it to be much above 2.3 percent this year.

Unemployment was supposed to be 6 percent by now. It has averaged 8.2 percent this year so far. Meanwhile real median annual household income has dropped more than 5 percent since June 2009. Nearly 110 million individuals received a welfare benefit in 2011, mostly Medicaid or food stamps.

Welcome to Obama’s America: nearly half the population is not represented on a taxable return—almost exactly the same proportion that lives in a household where at least one member receives some type of government benefit. We are becoming the 50–50 nation—half of us paying the taxes, the other half receiving the benefits.

Niall Ferguson discusses Obama’s broken promises on ‘Face the Nation.’  [See site for video]

And all this despite a far bigger hike in the federal debt than we were promised. According to the 2010 budget, the debt in public hands was supposed to fall in relation to GDP from 67 percent in 2010 to less than 66 percent this year. If only. By the end of this year, according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), it will reach 70 percent of GDP. These figures significantly understate the debt problem, however. The ratio that matters is debt to revenue. That number has leapt upward from 165 percent in 2008 to 262 percent this year, according to figures from the International Monetary Fund. Among developed economies, only Ireland and Spain have seen a bigger deterioration.

Not only did the initial fiscal stimulus fade after the sugar rush of 2009, but the president has done absolutely nothing to close the long-term gap between spending and revenue.

His much-vaunted health-care reform will not prevent spending on health programs growing from more than 5 percent of GDP today to almost 10 percent in 2037. Add the projected increase in the costs of Social Security and you are looking at a total bill of 16 percent of GDP 25 years from now. That is only slightly less than the average cost of all federal programs and activities, apart from net interest payments, over the past 40 years. Under this president’s policies, the debt is on course to approach 200 percent of GDP in 2037—a mountain of debt that is bound to reduce growth even further.

And even that figure understates the real debt burden. The most recent estimate for the difference between the net present value of federal government liabilities and the net present value of future federal revenues—what economist Larry Kotlikoff calls the true “fiscal gap”—is $222 trillion.

The president’s supporters will, of course, say that the poor performance of the economy can’t be blamed on him. They would rather finger his predecessor, or the economists he picked to advise him, or Wall Street, or Europe—anyone but the man in the White House.

There’s some truth in this. It was pretty hard to foresee what was going to happen to the economy in the years after 2008. Yet surely we can legitimately blame the president for the political mistakes of the past four years. After all, it’s the president’s job to run the executive branch effectively—to lead the nation. And here is where his failure has been greatest.

Jobs Graphic

On paper it looked like an economics dream team: Larry Summers, Christina Romer, and Austan Goolsbee, not to mention Peter Orszag, Tim Geithner, and Paul Volcker. The inside story, however, is that the president was wholly unable to manage the mighty brains—and egos—he had assembled to advise him.

According to Ron Suskind’s book Confidence Men, Summers told Orszag over dinner in May 2009: “You know, Peter, we’re really home alone … I mean it. We’re home alone. There’s no adult in charge. Clinton would never have made these mistakes [of indecisiveness on key economic issues].” On issue after issue, according to Suskind, Summers overruled the president. “You can’t just march in and make that argument and then have him make a decision,” Summers told Orszag, “because he doesn’t know what he’s deciding.” (I have heard similar things said off the record by key participants in the president’s interminable “seminar” on Afghanistan policy.)

This problem extended beyond the White House. After the imperial presidency of the Bush era, there was something more like parliamentary government in the first two years of Obama’s administration. The president proposed; Congress disposed. It was Nancy Pelosi and her cohorts who wrote the stimulus bill and made sure it was stuffed full of political pork. And it was the Democrats in Congress—led by Christopher Dodd and Barney Frank—who devised the 2,319-page Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank, for short), a near-perfect example of excessive complexity in regulation. The act requires that regulators create 243 rules, conduct 67 studies, and issue 22 periodic reports. It eliminates one regulator and creates two new ones.

It is five years since the financial crisis began, but the central problems—excessive financial concentration and excessive financial leverage—have not been addressed.

Today a mere 10 too-big-to-fail financial institutions are responsible for three quarters of total financial assets under management in the United States. Yet the country’s largest banks are at least $50 billion short of meeting new capital requirements under the new “Basel III” accords governing bank capital adequacy.

And then there was health care. No one seriously doubts that the U.S. system needed to be reformed. But the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) of 2010 did nothing to address the core defects of the system: the long-run explosion of Medicare costs as the baby boomers retire, the “fee for service” model that drives health-care inflation, the link from employment to insurance that explains why so many Americans lack coverage, and the excessive costs of the liability insurance that our doctors need to protect them from our lawyers.

Ironically, the core Obamacare concept of the “individual mandate” (requiring all Americans to buy insurance or face a fine) was something the president himself had opposed when vying with Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination. A much more accurate term would be “Pelosicare,” since it was she who really forced the bill through Congress.

Pelosicare was not only a political disaster. Polls consistently showed that only a minority of the public liked the ACA, and it was the main reason why Republicans regained control of the House in 2010. It was also another fiscal snafu. The president pledged that health-care reform would not add a cent to the deficit. But the CBO and the Joint Committee on Taxation now estimate that the insurance-coverage provisions of the ACA will have a net cost of close to $1.2 trillion over the 2012–22 period.

The president just kept ducking the fiscal issue. Having set up a bipartisan National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform, headed by retired Wyoming Republican senator Alan Simpson and former Clinton chief of staff Erskine Bowles, Obama effectively sidelined its recommendations of approximately $3 trillion in cuts and $1 trillion in added revenues over the coming decade. As a result there was no “grand bargain” with the House Republicans—which means that, barring some miracle, the country will hit a fiscal cliff on Jan. 1 as the Bush tax cuts expire and the first of $1.2 trillion of automatic, across-the-board spending cuts are imposed. The CBO estimates the net effect could be a 4 percent reduction in output.

The failures of leadership on economic and fiscal policy over the past four years have had geopolitical consequences. The World Bank expects the U.S. to grow by just 2 percent in 2012. China will grow four times faster than that; India three times faster. By 2017, the International Monetary Fund predicts, the GDP of China will overtake that of the United States.

Meanwhile, the fiscal train wreck has already initiated a process of steep cuts in the defense budget, at a time when it is very far from clear that the world has become a safer place—least of all in the Middle East.

For me the president’s greatest failure has been not to think through the implications of these challenges to American power. Far from developing a coherent strategy, he believed—perhaps encouraged by the premature award of the Nobel Peace Prize—that all he needed to do was to make touchy-feely speeches around the world explaining to foreigners that he was not George W. Bush.

In Tokyo in November 2009, the president gave his boilerplate hug-a-foreigner speech: “In an interconnected world, power does not need to be a zero-sum game, and nations need not fear the success of another … The United States does not seek to contain China … On the contrary, the rise of a strong, prosperous China can be a source of strength for the community of nations.” Yet by fall 2011, this approach had been jettisoned in favor of a “pivot” back to the Pacific, including risible deployments of troops to Australia and Singapore. From the vantage point of Beijing, neither approach had credibility.

His Cairo speech of June 4, 2009, was an especially clumsy bid to ingratiate himself on what proved to be the eve of a regional revolution. “I’m also proud to carry with me,” he told Egyptians, “a greeting of peace from Muslim communities in my country: Assalamu alaikum … I’ve come here … to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world, one based … upon the truth that America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition.”

Believing it was his role to repudiate neoconservatism, Obama completely missed the revolutionary wave of Middle Eastern democracy—precisely the wave the neocons had hoped to trigger with the overthrow of Saddam Hussein in Iraq. When revolution broke out—first in Iran, then in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, and Syria—the president faced stark alternatives. He could try to catch the wave by lending his support to the youthful revolutionaries and trying to ride it in a direction advantageous to American interests. Or he could do nothing and let the forces of reaction prevail.

In the case of Iran he did nothing, and the thugs of the Islamic Republic ruthlessly crushed the demonstrations. Ditto Syria. In Libya he was cajoled into intervening. In Egypt he tried to have it both ways, exhorting Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to leave, then drawing back and recommending an “orderly transition.” The result was a foreign-policy debacle. Not only were Egypt’s elites appalled by what seemed to them a betrayal, but the victors—the Muslim Brotherhood—had nothing to be grateful for. America’s closest Middle Eastern allies—Israel and the Saudis—looked on in amazement.

“This is what happens when you get caught by surprise,” an anonymous American official told The New York Times in February 2011. “We’ve had endless strategy sessions for the past two years on Mideast peace, on containing Iran. And how many of them factored in the possibility that Egypt moves from stability to turmoil? None.”

Remarkably the president polls relatively strongly on national security. Yet the public mistakes his administration’s astonishingly uninhibited use of political assassination for a coherent strategy. According to the Bureau of Investigative Journalism in London, the civilian proportion of drone casualties was 16 percent last year. Ask yourself how the liberal media would have behaved if George W. Bush had used drones this way. Yet somehow it is only ever Republican secretaries of state who are accused of committing “war crimes.”

The real crime is that the assassination program destroys potentially crucial intelligence (as well as antagonizing locals) every time a drone strikes. It symbolizes the administration’s decision to abandon counterinsurgency in favor of a narrow counterterrorism. What that means in practice is the abandonment not only of Iraq but soon of Afghanistan too. Understandably, the men and women who have served there wonder what exactly their sacrifice was for, if any notion that we are nation building has been quietly dumped. Only when both countries sink back into civil war will we realize the real price of Obama’s foreign policy.

America under this president is a superpower in retreat, if not retirement. Small wonder 46 percent of Americans—and 63 percent of Chinese—believe that China already has replaced the U.S. as the world’s leading superpower or eventually will.

It is a sign of just how completely Barack Obama has “lost his narrative” since getting elected that the best case he has yet made for reelection is that Mitt Romney should not be president. In his notorious “you didn’t build that” speech, Obama listed what he considers the greatest achievements of big government: the Internet, the GI Bill, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Hoover Dam, the Apollo moon landing, and even (bizarrely) the creation of the middle class. Sadly, he couldn’t mention anything comparable that his administration has achieved.

Now Obama is going head-to-head with his nemesis: a politician who believes more in content than in form, more in reform than in rhetoric. In the past days much has been written about Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney’s choice of running mate. I know, like, and admire Paul Ryan. For me, the point about him is simple. He is one of only a handful of politicians in Washington who is truly sincere about addressing this country’s fiscal crisis.

Deficit Graphic

Over the past few years Ryan’s “Path to Prosperity” has evolved, but the essential points are clear: replace Medicare with a voucher program for those now under 55 (not current or imminent recipients), turn Medicaid and food stamps into block grants for the states, and—crucially—simplify the tax code and lower tax rates to try to inject some supply-side life back into the U.S. private sector. Ryan is not preaching austerity. He is preaching growth. And though Reagan-era veterans like David Stockman may have their doubts, they underestimate Ryan’s mastery of this subject. There is literally no one in Washington who understands the challenges of fiscal reform better.

Just as importantly, Ryan has learned that politics is the art of the possible. There are parts of his plan that he is understandably soft-pedaling right now—notably the new source of federal revenue referred to in his 2010 “Roadmap for America’s Future” as a “business consumption tax.” Stockman needs to remind himself that the real “fairy-tale budget plans” have been the ones produced by the White House since 2009.

I first met Paul Ryan in April 2010. I had been invited to a dinner in Washington where the U.S. fiscal crisis was going to be the topic of discussion. So crucial did this subject seem to me that I expected the dinner to happen in one of the city’s biggest hotel ballrooms. It was actually held in the host’s home. Three congressmen showed up—a sign of how successful the president’s fiscal version of “don’t ask, don’t tell” (about the debt) had been. Ryan blew me away. I have wanted to see him in the White House ever since.

It remains to be seen if the American public is ready to embrace the radical overhaul of the nation’s finances that Ryan proposes. The public mood is deeply ambivalent. The president’s approval rating is down to 49 percent. The Gallup Economic Confidence Index is at minus 28 (down from minus 13 in May). But Obama is still narrowly ahead of Romney in the polls as far as the popular vote is concerned (50.8 to 48.2) and comfortably ahead in the Electoral College. The pollsters say that Paul Ryan’s nomination is not a game changer; indeed, he is a high-risk choice for Romney because so many people feel nervous about the reforms Ryan proposes.

Want to discuss this week’s cover story? Use the hashtag –just as it appears on the cover.

But one thing is clear. Ryan psychs Obama out. This has been apparent ever since the White House went on the offensive against Ryan in the spring of last year. And the reason he psychs him out is that, unlike Obama, Ryan has a plan—as opposed to a narrative—for this country.

Mitt Romney is not the best candidate for the presidency I can imagine. But he was clearly the best of the Republican contenders for the nomination. He brings to the presidency precisely the kind of experience—both in the business world and in executive office—that Barack Obama manifestly lacked four years ago. (If only Obama had worked at Bain Capital for a few years, instead of as a community organizer in Chicago, he might understand exactly why the private sector is not “doing fine” right now.) And by picking Ryan as his running mate, Romney has given the first real sign that—unlike Obama—he is a courageous leader who will not duck the challenges America faces.

The voters now face a stark choice. They can let Barack Obama’s rambling, solipsistic narrative continue until they find themselves living in some American version of Europe, with low growth, high unemployment, even higher debt—and real geopolitical decline.

Or they can opt for real change: the kind of change that will end four years of economic underperformance, stop the terrifying accumulation of debt, and reestablish a secure fiscal foundation for American national security.

I’ve said it before: it’s a choice between les États Unis and the Republic of the Battle Hymn.

I was a good loser four years ago. But this year, fired up by the rise of Ryan, I want badly to win.

Mitt Romney To Announce His VP Pick Saturday Morning At 8:45 A.M. EST. I Believe It Will Be Paul Ryan, And Here’s WHY.

August 11, 2012

“Which of the two do you want me to release to you?” asked the governor. “Barabbas,” they answered.  “What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called Christ?” Pilate asked. They all answered, “Crucify him!”  “Why? What crime has he committed?” asked Pilate. But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify him!”  When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “It is your responsibility!”  All the people answered, “Let his blood be on us and on our children!”  Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified. — Matthew 27:21-26

I was quite surprised to hear that Mitt Romney had announced that tomorrow was “the big day” to announce his vice president selection.  Like most, I assumed he would be making it immediately before the GOP National Convention.

I was also somewhat surprised to hear that, apparently, Romney had called Marco Rubio and told him that he would NOT be the running mate on the ticket.

We don’t know who it will be, of course, but there’s been a fair amount of intelligent conservative speculation that it may very well be Paul Ryan.

That will be an incredibly bold choice from a man who has a been cautious for most of his life, but this is what I believe Romney’s reasoning is:

Marco Rubio would have been a good choice if Romney was thinking in terms of winning more Hispanics or winning Florida.  And Rob Portman would have been a good choice if Romney felt that he would need Portman’s pull to carry Ohio.  Nikki Haley or Kelly Ayote would have been a decision to pursue “the women’s vote.”  But none of these excellent choices would define the race the way Paul Ryan would.

Paul Ryan is all about the budget – and by that I mean more than ANYODYand the need to get dead serious about reducing our spending.  Versus Democrats who haven’t bothered to even TRY to pass a budget for 1,199 days and a president who has not received a SINGLE DEMOCRAT VOTE for one of his depraved and lunatic budgets in three years.  Meanwhile as Obama and Democrats have made reckless irresponsibility their “governing strategy,” we just found out our true debt and our real fiscal gap just grew by a massive $11 trillion to – and you’d better sit down – $222 TRILLION:

Republicans and Democrats spent last summer battling how best to save $2.1 trillion over the next decade. They are spending this summer battling how best to not save $2.1 trillion over the next decade.

In the course of that year, the U.S. government’s fiscal gap — the true measure of the nation’s indebtedness — rose by $11 trillion.

The fiscal gap is the present value difference between projected future spending and revenue. It captures all government liabilities, whether they are official obligations to service Treasury bonds or unofficial commitments, such as paying for food stamps or buying drones.

[…]

The U.S. fiscal gap, calculated (by us) using theCongressional Budget Office’s realistic long-term budget forecast — the Alternative Fiscal Scenario — is now $222 trillion.

If in fact Mitt Romney picks Paul Ryan, THAT reckless fiscal insanity will be the central defining issue of the campaign.

More than any election in American history, this would be a true “monumental choice” election: do you want Obama and a welfare America that will utterly implode under the supermassive weight of hundreds of trillions of dollars of debt, or do you want to have at least a chance of national survival???

Many are saying that the Democrats are “licking their chops” over the prospect of running against Paul Ryan.  Democrats have demonized Paul Ryan viciously, using a look-alike to depict him pushing an elderly lady in a wheelchair off of a cliff. But the actual reality is just the opposite – as the facts prove.  For what it’s worth, the left was going to basically run against Ryan anyway.

Over one hundred million Americans are now on some form of welfare.

And Obama just gutted the work requirement that the Republican Congress had passed and Bill Clinton had signed back in 1996 in order to receive welfare.

Food stamps have increased 53 percent since Obama took office, from 30 million receiving them in 2008 to 46 million people receiving them today.  In the 1970s when the food stamp program began, one in fifty Americans were on them; one in seven Americans are on them now.  And more Americans are filing for disability today than are getting jobs, with the number of Americans expected to go on disability expected to jump 71 percent in the next ten years.  For the record, only 1 percent of people who go on disability ever return to work.  You either think these are good things or you think they’re terribly bad things.  And this November you’re going to vote which you think it is.

If you want to abdicate all personal responsibility and parasitically suck off the tit of a government that takes from the producers to hand out to those who vote Democrat until America collapses, then vote for Obama.

If you are looking around and saying, this can’t possibly continue. America is simply doomed on the path we’re on, then vote for Romney.

No one in America is more able to get our spending, deficit and debt under control than Paul Ryan.

If Paul Ryan is the guy, more than any other guy that Romney could pick, America will face a true choice in November.

City after city is beginning to collapse into bankruptcy as the choices to run up debts and deficits made by Democrats run their toxic course.  Liberal California is leading the way into total fiscal disasterLiberals keep pointing to the example of Europe even as Europe proves more every day that it is a terribly foolish model to follow.  And the liberals that gave us nearly ALL of the $222 trillion debt that is utterly unpayable and utterly unsustainable keep demaning that we double down and then triple down and then quadruple down until America simply implodes.  And don’t think the left doesn’t literally HOPE that day happens.

This election will mark the greatest and most monumental choice for the direction of America and the world since the one I cite at the beginning of this article.  I pray that we have more wisdom than that last momentous decision.  Israel was wiped off the map less than forty years later as a result of their choice; our disaster will ensue far faster than that if we choose foolishly and wickedly for Obama.

Democrats Have Murdered America: Watch City After City Go Bankrupt Because Of The Debt Bombs Democrats Planted Are Now Exploding

July 13, 2012

Twelve US cities have already filed for bankruptcy in Obamanation; another 27 are considering it.

The Democrat Party unions that own Barack Obama have bankrupted America.  We are like the headless chicken that doesn’t know that it’s already dead.

Our real debt is NOT the $16 trillion Obama has officially given us (it was $10 trillion when Bush left office); it is now well over $211 TRILLION.

Democrats rammed through a Social Security boondoggle seventy years ago that has exploded.  It didn’t matter that there was a far better private plan that a Democrat actually proposed; FDR wanted the Democrat to control America until it went bankrupt and he got his way.  The same was true of Medicare and Medicaid; there were FAR better options, but Democrats wanted to socialize America and they got their way.  Now people will die if these programs collapse, and mark my words they WILL collapse because of Democrats who demonize the issue while refusing to fix the problems or allow them to be fixed while the coming bankruptcy looms closer and closer.

Democrats are demon-possessed liars who try to make their fellow fools believe that George Bush bankrupted America.  Bush’s spending isn’t a tenth of one percent of the debt bomb that Democrats have planted in the bowels of America.  And those bombs that the Democrats so expertly planted are now beginning to explode and rip this country apart.

Some time back I started citing this little factoid published in the reliably liberal Los Angeles Times:

California’s $500-billion pension time bomb
April 06, 2010|By David Crane

The staggering amount of unfunded debt stands to crowd out funding for many popular programs. Reform will take something sadly lacking in the Legislature: political courage.

The state of California’s real unfunded pension debt clocks in at more than $500 billion, nearly eight times greater than officially reported.

That’s the finding from a study released Monday by Stanford University’s public policy program, confirming a recent report with similar, stunning findings from Northwestern University and the University of Chicago.

The California State Legislature Senate consists of 25 Democrats and 15 Republicans and the Assembly consisting of 52 Democrats and 28 Republicans to go with a liberal governor nicknamed “Moonbeam.”  Former RINO Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger tried and was broken by the Democrat majority and the unions and never dared to raise his hands against Democrats or their union masters again.

California will burn in hell because it is Democrat, which is another way of saying that it is half completely insane and half genuinely evil.

Democrats and unions are the kind of people who want to make sure that union child molesters get to go on exploiting California’s children.

That pension bomb was planted by DEMOCRATS.  These cockroaches have KILLED California.  Three big California cities have now declared bankruptcy because there is simply no way to pay Democrat Party-controlled unions their incredibly huge pensions.  And Los Angeles is right behind them.  Something between 1 in 5 and 1 in 4 California cities are now facing bankruptcy.  City after city are now rolling over onto their bellies because the Democrat Party is the most corrupt entity in human history.  And I say that because nothing short of the most evil and most dishonest and most corrupt party on earth could have succeeded in murdering the golden goose that was America.  When you consider California, with all of its major global ports and all of its inherent economic advantages, only the most stupid people in history could possibly bankrupt it.  But Democrats have succeeded wildly.

Scranton, Pennsylvania is a Democrat-owned city.  It now has less than $5,000 in the bank.  The Democrat mayor first tried to raise taxes by 78% – as if homeowners could have afforded paying nearly DOUBLE the property tax on their homes– and then things started to get crazy.  Let’s consider the players on the city council who have helped murder Scranton, PA along with Democrat Mayor Christopher Doherty.

I know, you demon-possessed Democrats.  It’s Bush’s fault.

Democrats have gutted that town and now their strategy is to raise taxes on anybody who is too stupid or too poor to leave.  Meanwhile the union employees are suing to hold on to their insane benefit packages because unions want to suck the life out of you until you are past dead.

Unions are giving 92% of their contributions to Democrats.  Democrats, in exchange and in quid pro quo, have given benefits and pensions to the unions that support them.  And it is a vicious cycle that has continued and will continue until the American people hunt down every single Democrat and burn them alive for what they did to their country.

Barack Obama is now running for re-election on the promise that he will do to America what Democrats have done everywhere else.  Between the fact that ObamaCare is truly evil and the fact that it will bankrupt America, between the fact that Obama has skyrocketed government spending while doing NOTHING to actually help the poor, between the fact that Barack Obama is so insane and so evil that not even ONE SINGLE DEMOCRAT IN TWO YEARS WOULD VOTE FOR HIS DEMONIC BUDGETS, between the fact that Obama has destroyed labor participation in America and the only reason the unemployment rate is as “low” as it is is that he has crushed discouraged workers, and between the fact that the CBO has stated for the record that Barack Obama has destroyed jobs and will continue to destroy jobs, the only thing he was going is go from being the “hope and change president” who promised to rise above the political divide to being the most negative, nasty demagogue hate-flinger in American history.

We’re most of the way through four years of God damn America.  And liberals want more God damn America until there isn’t any America left for God to damn.

The Bible describes this mindset of being utterly determined to pursue wickedness and failure no matter what, just as it describes perfectly the coming hell that big government will produce in the coming Antichrist:

“A third of mankind was killed by these three plagues, by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which proceeded out of their mouths.  For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents and have heads, and with them they do harm.  The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, so as not to worship demons, and the idols of gold and of silver and of brass and of stone and of wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; and they did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their immorality nor of their thefts” — Revelation 9:18-21

“Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became darkened; and they gnawed their tongues because of pain, and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores; and they did not repent of their deeds.” — Revelation 16:10-11

You’d think that the instinct of self-preservation alone would make these people turn from their ideas, but no.  Evil is a disease that consumes to the bone.

We’re seeing the same kind of demonic deception going on now in North Korea.  This is a nation that is completely dark at night because socialism has so wildly failed it is beyond unreal, but they worship Dear Leader and when he dies they worship the son of Dear Leader:

And that is exactly the way that Democrats are.  The only difference is the name of their “Dear Leader.”  His abject failure is the same.

We’re getting just a little tiny taste of the hell that is coming.  As the Antichrist leads the world (America most definitely included as Democrats gleefully worship the beast and take his mark) into hell and the people continue to refuse to repent no matter what happens, so also we now live in an America in which about half of the nation will follow Obama right into abject ruination.

Obama Promised To Cut Deficit In HALF By Now; Instead He’s Given Us The Three Highest Budget Deficits IN HISTORY OF ENTIRE HUMAN RACE

May 17, 2012

Barack Obama is a documented liar so many times over it’s positively unreal.  But it’s not merely the sheer galling number of his lies, it’s the magnitude of importance of the things he lied about, that most undermines America.

Sometimes a video is worth a thousand words:

WASHINGTON – The Republican National Committee (RNC) released a new web video “Empty Promises: Debt and Deficits” demonstrating President Obama’s repeated broken promises when it comes to spending. Barack Obama promised to cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term but has run trillion dollar deficits every year since. Now, as he’s campaigning for a second term, he’s making the same empty promises he made four years ago.

Web video can be viewed here.

Download the web video here.

“President Obama has broken his promise over and over when it comes to reining in Washington’s out of control spending,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “During the campaign, he lambasted the growing debt and, once elected, he pledged to cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term.

“Yet, President Obama’s record has been to double-down on Washington’s out of control spending by running trillion dollar deficits every year he’s been in office. His serial disregard of the nation’s finances is mortgaging our children’s future, guaranteeing that the next generation will not be better off.

“Barack Obama is right–the American people are tired of politicians who talk the talk but don’t walk the walk when it comes to fiscal responsibility. After four years of lip-service on spending, it is clear that Barack Obama is just a typical politician, saying one thing to get elected and doing another once in office.”

Speaker of the House John Boehner provided many of the details in print:

In his first speech to a joint session of Congress in 2009, President Obama promised to “cut the deficit in half” by the end of his first term. As the Associated Press said at that time: “In calling for a deficit of about $530 billion in four years, [President] Obama has established a marker by which to measure his first-term performance as president. The dollar figure could be his albatross or his badge of success.” Three years and three trillion-dollar deficits later, it’s clear that President Obama will not be brandishing any badges at this year’s State of the Union Address. Here’s more on President Obama’s broken promise to rein in the deficit:

  • President Obama and Washington Democrats Have Run the Three Largest Deficits in U.S. History:

FY2009 Deficit: $1.413 Trillion, the Highest in U.S. History. (Congressional Budget Office, 11/7/11)

FY2011 Deficit: $1.299 Trillion, the Second Highest in U.S. History. (Congressional Budget Office, 11/7/11)

FY2010 Deficit: $1.294 Trillion, the Third Highest in U.S. History. (Congressional Budget Office, 11/7/11)

  • President Obama Has Added More Than $4.6 Trillion to the Debt Since Taking Office. (U.S. Treasury Department, Accessed 1/22/12)

Far from fulfilling his promise to the American people, President Obama – aided by Democrats in Congress – has engaged in a reckless spending spree that is damaging the economy and making it harder to create private-sector jobs. Instead of putting forth a serious, credible plan to cut spending and address the major drivers of our debt, President Obama punted – offering a budget last year that failed by a vote of 97-0 in the Senate.

Appearing on Fox News Sunday earlier this week, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) reaffirmed Republicans’ commitment to “real reform of our entitlement programs and real controls on spending here in Washington.” Republicans, led by Speaker Boehner, tried to work with the president to enact a major deficit reduction law — including new revenues, through tax reform with lower rates for all — but the president insisted on job-killing tax hikes on small businesses, opposed real spending cuts, and declined to support reforms to strengthen entitlement programs. House Republicans have led where President Obama has failed, and it is now up to Senate Democrats to do their job and pass a budget for the first time in 1,000 days. The American people “can’t wait” another three years for an economy that creates jobs, and a government that fulfills its “most basic responsibility of governing,” and they shouldn’t have to.

This issue is coming back again like a boomerang due to Obama’s failed leadership.  Because the same man who demonized George Bush as being “un-American” and a “failed leader” for trying to pass a debt ceiling extension – and then VOTING AGAINST FUNDING THE GOVERNMENT – is demanding a FOURTH debt ceiling extension himself after his last three were the highest in the history of the human race.

Obama’s budgets are so bloated and so bad and frankly so vile that NOT EVEN ONE SINGLE DEMOCRAT WILL DRINK HIS CYANIDE KOOLAID BUDGETS.  And the Democrat-controlled Senate just proved that yet again by voting 99-0 against Obama’s demon-possessed budget.

The only thing Obama knows how to do is campaign.  Which is why he’s already had more fundraisers than the last five presidents – three of whom served for two full terms – COMBINED.

Party Of Lies: Barack Obama Sent His New Chief Of Staff Out To Lie To Falsely Blame Republicans Over Democrats’ Failure To Pass ANY Budget

February 15, 2012

Obama’s new Chief of Staff Jack Lew made the rounds Sunday, February 12.  And he lied to every single mainstream media outlet that would welcome his lies.  And not ONE network host challenged his Big Lie.

Jack Lew has been around.  He is an experienced Washington insider who understands the rules of the political process.  He actually served twice as Bill Clinton’s budget director.  So to say he made a “misstatement” is simply a lie.  Jack Lew tried to falsely demonize the Republican Party for the pathetic and abject failure of the Democrat Party to pass ANY budget for well over a thousand days (that’s nearly three years).

This was clearly no accident.  Lew said the same totally false thing again and again on the morning political talk programs.  As Politifact CLEARLY points out:

Most business in the Senate is subject to filibustering — that is, actions, or even just threats, to talk a bill to death. Filibusters can be overcome by what’s known as a “cloture” vote that shuts off debate and moves a measure toward final consideration. For the Senate to agree to cloture requires 60 votes — a high threshold that many Senate majorities are unable to muster on controversial votes (and, increasingly, even on relatively uncontroversial votes).

However, the filibuster cannot be used to block a budget resolution. That’s because the Budget Act sets out a specific amount of time for debate in the Senate — 50 hours. If a specific amount of debate time is enshrined in the controlling statute, the filibuster is moot. So a simple majority — not 60 votes — is all that’s required to pass a budget resolution.

Indeed, passing a budget resolution by at least 60 votes has become increasingly rare in recent years, according to CRS data. Since 1994, the Senate vote has exceeded that vote threshold just three times, either in the initial vote or on a subsequent vote in which lawmakers consider an identical House-Senate version of the resolution.

More common in recent years are votes where 51 was enough to prevail. In 2009, the Senate even passed the final budget resolution by a 48-45 margin.

“The budget resolution vote is always a partisan affair, and rarely does it gain any minority party support,” said Steve Ellis, a vice president at Taxpayers for Common Sense.

So Lew is clearly wrong to say that “you can’t pass a budget in the Senate of the United States without 60 votes.” As a longtime senior official at OMB and other federal agencies, he should have known better.

Here are Obama Chief of Staff Jack Lew’s own lying words on two separate programs:

From NBC‘s Meet the Press, Sunday, February 12, 2012:

MR. GREGORY: So the leadership deficit in Washington has had an impact on what business does in America and certainly our economic outlook. Here’s a stat that a lot of people may not know, but it’s pretty striking. The number of days since Senate Democrats passed a budget is 1,019. Can you just explain as a former budget director, how do you fund the government when there’s no budget?

MR. LEW: Well, you know, one of the things about the United States Senate that I think the American people have realized is that it takes 60, not 50 votes to pass something. And there has been Republican opposition to anything that Senate Democrats have tried to do. So it, it is a challenge in the United States Senate to pass legislation when there’s not that willingness to work together. Congress didn’t do a great job last year. It, it, it drove right to the edge of a cliff on occasion after occasion. I actually think it’s unfair to blame the United States Senate for that. A lot of that was because of the extreme, you know, conservative approach taken by House Republicans.

The same Jack Lew – the same guy who was a budget director TWICE for Bill Clinton and without question understood that he was lying – went on CNN‘s State of the Union that same day and said:

CROWLEY:  I know we’ll want to talk about the tax hikes in a second, but I want to read for our viewers something that Senator Harry Reid, the Democratic majority leader in the U.S. Senate, who said, we do not need to bring a budget to the floor this year.  It’s done.  We don’t need to do it, talking about last year’s two-year agreement and saying that, you know, so it’s already done.

This budget, I can assure you and you know, because you’ve been in this town for a long time, is going to be attacked as a political document.  This is a budget that promises 2 million more jobs if it’s passed, so that come September the president can go out there and say, well, if they’d only passed by budget, we’d have 2 million more jobs, but those darn Republicans are standing in my way, when, in fact, even the Democratic leader in the Senate says, you know what, we don’t need a budget.

LEW:  Well, let’s be clear.  What Senator Reid is talking about is a fairly narrow point.  In order for the Senate to do its annual work on appropriation bills, they need to pass a certain piece of legislation which sets a limit.  They did that last year.  That’s what he’s talking about.

He’s not saying that they shouldn’t pass a budget.  But we also need to be honestYou can’t pass a budget in the Senate of the United States without 60 votes, and you can’t get 60 votes without bipartisan support.  So unless Republicans

And, yes, we need to be honest.  Which means we have to abolish the party of pathological liars, the Democrat Party.  And to finish his interrupted sentence, unless Republicans grow a set of testicles and rise up and hold the Democrats responsible for all of their vicious lies, this nation is doomed.

You need 51 votes to pass a budget.  The Democrat Party currently has 53 votes in the Senate.  When Obama took over, they had a filibuster-proof Senate and they could have passed ANY budget they wanted.

Let’s not forget that last year Obama submitted a budget to a Senate under the control of his own party.  It was such an abject disgrace that it went down 97-0 without a SINGLE Senator voting for it.

I know,  I know.  That was the Republicans Party’s fault, too.

You need to understand something very important about the Democrats.  They are the end result of a culture and a nation that is in pitiful decay and just about to implode.  The Democrat Party is the result of God damn America.

Ancient man did not talk in terms of “rights.”  They talked in terms of DUTIES.  They talked in terms of their duties as human beings, as family members, as citizens of a state.  And any society that fixates on “rights” and abandons the pervasive sense of duty is a society that is on the verge of perishing.  And the Democrat Party is riding the death of America like a jockey urging his horse to a faster pace into hell.

Benjamin Franklin said, “When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.”  And THAT is the Democrat Party: the party of the end of the republic.

For Democrats, their “rights” ALWAYS impose duty on somebody else.  It’s my “right” to have a sex change operation, and it is the DUTY of religious conservatives to abandon their four thousand years of Judeo-Christian revelation and affirm my choice to sexually mutilate myself so I can live in my depraved life.  And it is the DUTY of those same religious conservatives to pay for that depraved act of sexual mutilation.  Women have a right to get birth control, abortion-causing drugs and sterilizations without any sort of restriction of any kind whatsoever.  And the Catholic Church has the DUTY to forsake one thousand-five hundred YEARS of clearly defined religious tradition and start providing “access” because Barack Obama is greater than God.  The messiah has spoken, so let it be written, so let it be done.

What is our real debt?  It isn’t the trifling $16 trillion – $6 trillion of which was inflicted on us by Barack Obama alone in just three years – that we hear about.  It is $211 TRILLION plus:

It’s those medium- and long-term debt problems that also worry economics professor Laurence J. Kotlikoff, who served as a senior economist on President Reagan’s Council of Economic Advisers. He says the national debt, which the U.S. Treasury has accounted at about $14 trillion, is just the tip of the iceberg.

“We have all these unofficial debts that are massive compared to the official debt,” Kotlikoff tells David Greene, guest host of weekends on All Things Considered. “We’re focused just on the official debt, so we’re trying to balance the wrong books.”

Kotlikoff explains that America’s “unofficial” payment obligations — like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid benefits — jack up the debt figure substantially.

“If you add up all the promises that have been made for spending obligations, including defense expenditures, and you subtract all the taxes that we expect to collect, the difference is $211 trillion. That’s the fiscal gap,” he says. “That’s our true indebtedness.”

Boston University economist Laurence Kotlikoff, to make it clear, is a noted economist. He is a research associate at the U.S. National Bureau of Economic Research. He is a former senior economist with then-president Ronald Reagan’s Council of Economic Advisers. He has served as a consultant with governments around the world.  And he wrote about this issue of America’s true debt in a peer-reviewed journal of the International Monetary Fund (September, 2010).  This isn’t a joke.  This is our reality.

And which party inflicted this ridiculously unpayable debt???  Which party inflicted the Social Security Ponzi scheme on us when there were in fact far better privatized equivalents at the time which would have been better funded and paid out better benefits?  Which party took over sixty percent of our health care system with a government socialist scheme that is going to be completely BANKRUPT by 2017 at the latest???

Which political party is completely responsible for these depraved government takeovers that will collapse and thus murder millions of elderly people whose only crime was being forced by the Democrat Party to pay into the Democrat Party’s boondoggle?

I think I’ve already hinted at the answer: the Democrat Party.

Democrats want to demonize Reagan and Bush for all the debt.  As I’ve already pointed out, Barack Obama has already vastly outspent George W. Bush in less than half the time.  But that debt is NOTHING compared to the TWO HUNDRED TRILLION DOLLARS that Democrats are one hundred percent responsible for.

What does Obama’s personal stooge do when confronted by the FACT that his party has not bothered to pass a budget of any kind of for 1,019 days (that is 1,022 days now) according to NBC?

He deceitfully and falsely demonizes Republicans, of course.

Which is to say that the same party from hell that constantly creates new “rights” that OTHER PEOPLE must pay for is likewise the party from hell that always makes OTHER PEOPLE responsible for the hell that they create.

What’s going to be the end of the party of lies???

One day, very soon, after the collapse that the Democrat Party will have imposed upon the United States and therefore the world that has depended on the strength and integrity of the United States for a century, a figure will emerge that the Book of Daniel warned us about nearly three thousand years ago and the Book of Revelation warned us about nearly two thousand years ago.  Democrats don’t give a damn; they despise the Bible and openly mock it as a matter of routine.

Barack Obama is even now shaping the Middle East for the last days and the coming of this dictator whom the Bible rightly foretold would be “the beast.”  Just as Obama is even now shaping the United States – the only nation that has kept Israel from facing a second Holocaust even worse than the last one – for collapse.

Barack Obama has been repeatedly proclaimed as the “messiah” by the political left.  He’s no such thing; he’s the useful idiot of the Antichrist, of the coming beast who will come riding in on his white horse to save the day after Obama has imploded the economy of the only country on earth that would have resisted him.

When this beast comes, he will be the Democrat Party’s wet dream.  He will be the big government “global unifier” that they’ve always dreamed of.  Democrats will acclaim the Antichrist.  They will vote for him.  They will take his mark.  And they will burn in hell for a well-deserved eternity of suffering for their crimes against the truth.

Only Liberals Could Destroy A State Like California. But They’ve Managed To Do It.

February 1, 2012

I once had my eyeballs pop out of my skull and bounce off my computer screen when I came across California’s actual debt revealed in the Los Angeles Times:

California’s $500-billion pension time bomb
April 06, 2010|By David Crane

The staggering amount of unfunded debt stands to crowd out funding for many popular programs. Reform will take something sadly lacking in the Legislature: political courage.

The state of California’s real unfunded pension debt clocks in at more than $500 billion, nearly eight times greater than officially reported.

That’s the finding from a study released Monday by Stanford University’s public policy program, confirming a recent report with similar, stunning findings from Northwestern University and the University of Chicago.

Now, stop and think about that: $500 billion.  One state has an unfunded pension liability (thanks, unions!!!) of half a trillion dollars.  And unlike the United States under Obama, California can’t just devalue its currency by printing more money until the inevitable collapse comes.

So with this history of abject liberal stupidity, it should come as absolutely no surprise that California – in spite of its being abundantly blessed with one of the greatest climates in the world, abundant natural resources and numerous major ports – would be utterly bankrupt:

California To Run Out Of Cash In One Month, Controller Warns
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 01/31/2012 15:15 -0500

If anyone is tired of the daily European soap opera with surrealistic tragicomic overtones, they can simply shift their gaze to the 8th largest economy in the world: the insolvent state of California, whose controller just told legislators has just over a month worth of cash left. From the Sacramento Bee: “California will run out of cash by early March if the state does not take swift action to find $3.3 billion through payment delays and borrowing, according to a letter state Controller John Chiang sent to state lawmakers today. The announcement is surprising since lawmakers previously believed the state had enough cash to last through the fiscal year that ends in June.” ….uh, oops? But sure, fix the problem of excess debt by more “borrowing” why not. As for the math: “But Chiang said additional cash management solutions are needed because state tax revenues are $2.6 billion less than what Gov. Jerry Brown and state lawmakers assumed in their optimistic budget last year. Meanwhile, Chiang said, the state is spending $2.6 billion more than state leaders planned on.” Quick, someone come up with a plan that involves subsidies and tariffs on China, or something else that deflects from what the source of the problem really is. Because the last thing that anyone in America would want to bring up is this thing called “responsibility” for their actions, or, as in now becoming the default case, the lack thereof. And why do that, when time spent so much more productively scapegoating this, and blaming that for one’s own massive errors of judgment.

From the Bee:

The Assembly budget committee is considering a bill today that would enable $865 million of borrowing from existing state accounts, Senate Bill 95. Chiang, after consultation with the Department of Finance and state Treasurer Bill Lockyer, is also seeking about $2.4 billion in delayed payments to universities, counties and Medi-Cal, as well as additional borrowing from outside investors.

Absent these actions, the state would fall below its prudent $2.5 billion cash cushion on Feb. 29, Chiang estimated. On March 8, the state would actually end up $730 million in the red. The state would be below the safe cash cushion for several weeks ending April 13, save for several days at the end of March.

With such actions, Chiang believes the state would not have to use IOUs or delay tax refunds, maneuvers that have been relied upon in previous years. But Chiang also said that “more cash solutions may be required if our revenues continue to erode or if disbursements significantly exceed estimates.”

So 3 years after Lehman filed for bankruptcy, everyone in the world continues to be terminally insolvent, but because everyone is in the same boat, everyone pretends not to notice and the best thing is just to blame Meredith Whitney for telling it like it is, if not getting the timing quite right? But at least the Fed isn’t about to print up a tsunami of dollar-equivalent ones and zeros.

California is one of the bluest – meaning most liberal – states in the country.  It is the only state in the country, I believe, that actually INCREASED it’s level of total Democrat domination in the 2010 elections when people in virtually every other state finally wised up enough to vote Democrats out in the worst political asskicking in at least seventy years.

Murphy’s Law says “Everything east of the San Andreas fault will eventually plunge into the Atlantic Ocean.”

As cynical as Murphy was, even HE didn’t count on how incredibly stupid the Democrat Party would be in the state of California.

We have been watching Californians fleeing the state in droves and mostly heading to the Republican-red state of Texas.

So what does California do?  Mandate that everything that is wrong with the state become even WORSE by hiking taxes on job creators EVEN MORE.

When the stupid liberals raise taxes, the smart rich leave the state.  And the jobs “mysteriously” leave with them.

And while liberals will never understand why, all the states with the highest tax rates end up having the highest debt.  While all the states that are actually balancing their budgets are conservative tax-cutting states.

California wants to become more like New York and less like … a successful state.

California deserves to implode and go bankrupt.

I imagine Obama is desperately hoping California can wallpaper over all of the enormous holes in its fiscal house until after the election.  Otherwise he’d have to make the politically suicidal decision to either bail out California (and lose the rest of a legitimately angry nation that will have to pay for a “too big to fail” liberal state) or not bail out California and force the residents of the state to finally realize that liberalism is the best and surest path to self-destruction.  Either way he would have to kiss his re-election chances good-bye.

As Obama Delivers State Of Union Speech Tonight, Will Media Remind Us That Democrats Haven’t Had A Budget In 1,000 Days?

January 24, 2012

This is one of the most despicable failures of basic governance in history – and it’s got “Democrat Party” written all over it.

Understand, the Democrat-controlled House failed to pass a budget during the same time period; the House didn’t bother to pass a budget until the Republicans took over and IMMEDIATELY did their most basic duty.

Democrats are the party of cowardice; I say that because writing a budget forces you to make decisions (we can’t possibly afford to do that) that Democrats have long-since proven they don’t have the guts, honor or decency to make.  Democrats get to be the party that wants to help everybody; Republicans are forced to be the party that is trying to avoid a complete financial collapse.

GOP lawmakers mark 1,000 days since last Senate budget
By Bernie Becker and Erik Wasson – 01/24/12 12:33 PM ET

Senate Republicans slammed their Democratic colleagues on Tuesday for not passing a budget in exactly 1,000 days, accusing Democrats of shirking their duty in a period of soaring deficits.

Four senators at a Tuesday news conference said President Obama should be more of a leader on reining in deficits. GOP lawmakers have for months pointed out the time elapsed since the Senate last passed a budget.

“It is imperative that we get our federal budget under control and the first step – the minimum thing that Congress should do – is follow the law that it passed to put discipline on itself,” said Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), who also called the lack of a Senate budget “a national scandal.”

Johnson also said that he would procedurally tie up the Senate if the chamber hasn’t passed a budget by April 15 – a move he also made last June to protest the budget situation.

“The other side really does need to put their plan, their budget, on a piece of paper,” Johnson added. “Not just say that they’re for a grand bargain, not just say they’re for fiscal control.”

Republicans’ latest push on the issue comes the same day that the president is scheduled to head to the Capitol to deliver his State of the Union address.

GOP aides said that it was a coincidence that the president was invited to speak to Congress on the 1,000-day anniversary of the last Senate budget. Obama also delivered his 2011 State of the Union address on the fourth Tuesday in January.

For their part, Senate Democrats on Tuesday pushed back on the GOP claims that the Senate had not cleared a budget plan.

The Senate Budget Committee, chaired by Sen. Kent Conrad (D-N.D.), released an analysis asserting that the deal reached in August to raise the debt ceiling was, for all intents and purposes, a budget.

The Budget Control Act included caps on discretionary spending and examined entitlement programs and revenue, the analysis said. “Republican rhetoric aside, Congress did pass a budget,” the fact sheet added.

“Either they don’t know what they did or they are misrepresenting what we all did,” Conrad said on the floor.

House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said that Democrats should be embarassed to claim the BCA as their budget blueprint because the BCA “fell far, far short of solving this country’s fiscal problems.”

“If the BCA is their answer to fiscal sanity and preventing a debt crisis, then heaven help us,” Ryan said.
But Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), said that the U.S. still faced a dire debt situation, even with the caps included in the debt ceiling deal and the automatic cuts scheduled to go into effect due to the failure of the deficit-reduction supercommittee.

“The limits that we have are not sufficient,” Sessions said. “They were the best that could be accomplished under the circumstances, with the threat of a government shutdown.”

In all, the debt-ceiling deal will lead to north of $2 trillion in spending cuts, while bipartisan commissions have said that the U.S. needs more like $4 trillion in fiscal restraint over a decade.

“Is it not the responsibility of the president, the chief executive office, to tell the American people that the $2 trillion is not enough?” Sessions said, hours before Obama’s State of the Union address.

Obama demonized George Bush as “unpatriotic” and as a “failed leader” for requesting a debt extension:

Here are Obama’s own demagogic and frankly demonic words about George Bush:

“The problem is, is that the way Bush has done it over the last eight years is to take out a credit card from the Bank of China in the name of our children, driving up our national debt from $5 trillion for the first 42 presidents – #43 added $4 trillion by his lonesome, so that we now have over $9 trillion of debt that we are going to have to pay back — $30,000 for every man, woman and child. That’s irresponsible. It’s unpatriotic.”

And:

The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. … Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that ‘the buck stops here. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.”

The same man who demonized George Bush for his “failure of leadership” for leaving the debt at $10 trillion – increasing it $4 trillion over eight years – has now increased the debt himself by SIX TRILLION DOLLARS IN ONLY THREE YEARS.  After demagoguing Bush for his debt ceiling extension, Obama has since passed THE THREE HIGHEST debt ceiling extensions in the history of the entire human race.

Obama is the most dishonest and demagogic president we have ever had.

Obama has talked endlessly about cutting spending, but he is a liar without shame or honor.  Our deficit spending has increased on average by FIVE BILLION DOLLARS EVERY SINGLE DAY OF HIS PRESIDENCY.

Which is to say if Obama actually talks during his speech, he will be lying.

As will the mainstream media in reporting his speech; because these propagandists WILL NOT TELL THE TRUTH.
