Extending Jobless ‘Insurance’ Benefits And Just Jobs In General: When Will Dishonest Democrats Finally Just Tell The Dang Truth???

February 14, 2014

Here’s the question that demagogic Democrats ask Republicans: “How can you be so heartless to cut off people in need who, for no fault of their own, lost their jobs?”

Here’s the question Republicans ought to respond with: “How do you think having lifetime jobless “insurance” benefits will work out for those who no longer ever need to get a job?”

Let me begin with a couple of quotes:

Here’s one from a liberal HuffPo article titled, “It’s Not Just Poor People Getting Hosed When Congress Lets Unemployment Insurance Expire“:

When lawmakers skipped town for Christmas break this year, they left unresolved what to do about federal unemployment insurance. The benefits, available to jobless workers who had used up six months of state-funded compensation, had been running since the Great Recession hit in 2008. Early in 2012, Congress began scaling back the duration of federal benefits as the economy improved. There was uncertainty as to what would happen at the end of this year with even better economic conditions. Now, with the program set to lapse, recipients such as Torian are left gaming out a petrifying next few months.

Point: Federal “long-term unemployment insurance” has been going on for going on seven damn years.  And Congress has just kept extending it over and over and over and over.  And of course you can NEVER end it because the day you do, the poor, poor workers will be “hosed.”  So you have to keep providing these benefits forever.  Or else you’re cruel.

Here’s one from Wikipedia on unemployment benefits in the United States as contrasted with European socialism:

The standard time-length of unemployment compensation payment is six months, although extensions to this are possible for certain individuals. Once this six-month time period elapses and payment ceases, an individual who remains unemployed is at risk of falling into poverty, as they no longer have a safety net upon which to rely. This contrasts with the situation of the unemployed in most European countries (such as France, Germany and the United Kingdom), where unemployment benefit is of unlimited duration so long as the individual remains unemployed.

Okay, so we have America where we’re willing to help you – to a point.  And then you’ve got to stand on your own two feet and get a job, even if you don’t WANT to get a damn job.  And even if you have to take a job that you feel is “beneath” you.  Because that’s what grown-up Americans do.  And then we have European socialist nanny-statism, which says, “You NEVER have to grow up.  You NEVER have to take responsibility for yourself.  It takes a village.  Blah blah blah socialist blah.”

America used to be like America.  Because we were the greatest nation on earth and no one else even came close.  But now we’re a mediocre “mediocracy” like all the other socialist realms where everybody should be the same and anybody who tries to be better ought to be punished for the effort.

Here’s the bottom line: Democrats keep wanting to extend jobless “insurance” month after month and year after year after year without end.  And they never have to answer the question: “At what point is it immoral to keep extending these “benefits”?

Should I get an unemployment check for a year?  How about two years?  Is five years too long?  How about ten years?  Do I hear twenty-five years?  Hey, let’s go deep and say sixty years of unemployment bennies.  Is THAT too long?

Snotty, dishonest Democrats will undoubtedly respond, “No one is talking about unemployment benefits for ten years” (They can’t say “five years” anymore because they’ve ALREADY EXTENDED THEM FOR THAT LONG).  But consider the following question in the following paragraph.  Because:

You know what I want to hear from Democrats?  I want to hear them say, “If you continue to receive unemployment “insurance” for more than _____________ (please fill in the damn blank, Democrat), you are a lousy person.  You are a slacker and a freeloader.  And only a foolish and depraved society would give you one more nickel.”  I want to hear them put a number in that blank.

But they won’t.  They NEVER will.

What they WILL do is month after month, year after year continue to demonize and demagogue and slander Republicans who are reluctant to provide welfare for life.

Now the Democrat Party’s “War on Workers” is finally actually starting – just STARTING – to come out into the open:

(CNSNews.com) – The subsidies that help low-income people buy expensive health insurance are a ‘disincentive for people to work,” Douglas Elmendorf, director of the Congressional Budget Office, told Congress on Wednesday.

“What the Affordable Care Act does, is to provide subsidies focused on lower- and lower-middle-income people to buy health insurance. And in order to encourage a sufficient number of people to buy an expensive product like health  insurance, the subsidies are fairly large in dollar terms. Those subsidies are then withdrawn over time — withdrawn from people as their income rises.

And by providing heavily subsidized health insurance to people with very low income, and then withdrawing those subsidies as income rises, the (Affordable Care) Act creates a disincentive for people to work, relative to what would have been the case in the absence of that Act,” Elmendorf told the House Budget Committee.

Dishonest, demon-possessed Democrats – caught like cockroaches in the kitchen when the light finally gets turned on – are actually saying it’s a GOOD thing that ObamaCare will destroy at least 2.3 million jobs (mind you, I assure you it will be FAR worse than that.  And the CBO has been reliably late to comprehend the horror of this murderous and evil ObamaCare law).  Believe it or not, the Democrats who demonized Republicans as “job killers” are now actually openly saying that it is a GOOD thing that ObamaCare will drive another 2.5 million Americans out of the workforce.  Because now the people who have the right to choose to murder their very own children will also enjoy the right to choose whether to work or accept the welfare dole and mooch off of other people’s money for a life of mediocrity and failure.

Democrats are pathologically dishonest.  On the one hand, they claim with their Pseudo-Messiah Obama that they have improved the economy so damn much that unemployment is now only 6.7 percent.  But on the other hand, they’re evil, not stupid, and so they know that real unemployment in this country is really well over ten percent under their Failure-in-Chief and his disastrous and stupid and frankly wicked and immoral policies.

Even the uberliberal Huffington Post, as leftwing as it is, refutes the Democrat talking point:

President Barack Obama took pride in presiding over the nation’s “lowest unemployment rate in over five years” during his State of the Union address on Tuesday. But while this statement is true — the jobless rate dropped to 6.7 percent in December — it’s not exactly something to write home about.

That’s because a large part of the most recent decline in December was the result of 347,000 people giving up the search for work entirely and dropping out of the labor force. Such a decision helps the unemployment rate look better on paper, since it pushes those people out of the unemployment picture altogether. But in reality, it is not a great sign for the millions struggling to find work.

I’ve been writing about this in articles such as “Rapidly Worsening Labor Participation Rate Now Lowest In More Than THIRTY YEARS Under Obama’s Failed Regime.  PLEASE LOOK AT HISTORY!!!”  And that rate is no longer “more than thirty years”; it’s now the worst in over THIRTY-SIX YEARS.  We haven’t seen anything like this since Jimmy Damn Communist Carter was busy destroying America with his own failed socialist experiments back in 1978.

I pointed out quite a while back about the “Unemployment Rate: At ‘The Rate’ We’re Going, We’ll Have 0% Unemployment But No One Will Have An Actual Job.”  I predicted that THREE FULL YEARS ago.  Tell me how I was wrong, lying liberals.

Barack Obama is a pathologically dishonest liar.  But because he is protected by pathologically dishonest liars in the mainstream media, he is able to keep pumping out total crap.  But meanwhile he is driving ordinary people into the dust each and every month of his disastrous curse-from-God (as in “God damn America!”) presidency.

Things are just going so good under Obama that we closed out the year with headlines such as: “Applications for Unemployment Benefits Experiences Largest Increase in Over a Year.”

And then we get into January and February and we hear this from the always reliably rabidly ideological Los Angeles Times:

Retail sales fall unexpectedly in January
Amid bitter weather, sales slump a seasonally adjusted 0.4% in January from December, missing Wall Street’s expectations, Commerce Department reports.
By Tiffany Hsu
February 13, 2014, 6:16 p.m.

This year’s streak of nasty weather is wreaking havoc on the economy, causing plunging worker productivity, soaring heating bills, canceled flights, damaged crops and frozen hiring.

But the bitter conditions, which last month left thousands stranded in Atlanta and this week is pounding the eastern part of the country with snow, have dealt a particularly severe blow to retailers.

The tempests couldn’t have come at a worse time. In January, as businesses struggled through a weak post-holiday period in a month that already tends to be slow, industry sales slid by their largest margin in 18 months.

And “February does not offer much hope for relief,” according to a report from Credit Suisse.

Maggie Taylor, an analyst with Moody’s, said she’s spent two days in each of the last three weeks stranded at her New Jersey home because of the weather. She’s tried to run errands but has been stymied by closed stores. There’s so much snow she can’t even see her front stoop.

“The consumer is coming back slower than we expected with or without the storms,” she said. “But this winter, the storms appear so extreme that we don’t believe retailers are using them as an [unreasonable] excuse. People are staying home.”

The Commerce Department said Thursday that retail sales slumped a seasonally adjusted 0.4% in January from December, missing Wall Street’s expectations of flat results. Compared with the same month a year earlier, sales were up 2.6%, disappointing many analysts.

The government also revised down sales for the prior two months. December sales, which had previously been reported as a 0.2% month-to-month increase, were changed to reflect a 0.1% decline.

Don’t worry: they’ll have an excuse for March and April, too.  I’m guessing they’ll go back to their favorite straw man the Republican Party.

We conservatives have been openly MOCKING the left for the constant and incessant use of their favorite economic adjective under Obama: “unexpected.”  They expected a Utopia under their messiah and just can’t figure out why the streets aren’t paved with gold yet because they know with the faith of true Allah Akbar believers that socialism WORKS and “We are the ones we have been waiting for.”

I can’t help but laugh as I think of the Soviet Union, which shortly before its collapse had the balls to blame seventy years’ worth of bad weather after their policies resulted in perpetual famine, having executed all the other viable scapegoats.

That is ALL Obama has done.  Blame, blame, blame, demonize, slander and lie like no other human being in all of history has lied.  All liberals do and all they have EVER done is make false promises, then blame Bush, blame House Republicans (because they should have worshiped Obama and they refused to), then blame “unexpected.”  And ultimately if they get to grab the sort of totalitarian power their communist heroes in the USSR did they’ll blame seventy years’ worth of bad weather.  Because that’s who they are: a nation of Cains who refuse to accept responsibility for the horror they cause.

Do you want to know the TRUTH about what Democrats actually want?  THIS is what they want:

Let me remind you this has been going on for years. We are bringing it to a halt. The harsh fact of the matter is when you’re going to pass legislation that will cover 300 American people in different ways it takes a long time to do the necessary administrative steps that have to be taken to put the legislation together to control the people.

Democrats don’t want jobs.  If they wanted jobs, they wouldn’t be at war with the people who CREATE jobs.  What Democrats want is CONTROL.  They want the fascist control of society such that the people are beholden to THEM, such that THEY get to “punish their enemies and reward their friends,” such that they get to pick the winners and the losers, such that they get to decide whom the IRS targets and whom the IRS passes.  THAT is what they want.

Democrats don’t want you to have a damn job; they want you to be on welfare so you’ll have to keep voting Democrat forever in order to get your next meal.  That is ALL they want.

And the last six miserable years under Obama proves that they are increasingly GETTING what they want.

I wish Democrats would just have the honesty and integrity to preach their offer: in exchange for wiping out any chance at independence and genuine success in life, we’ll give you a menial subsistence existence as long as you keep waiting for your check in the mail and vote for the party that made it all possible for you to be a permanent parasite.

CBO Report: ObamaCare To Gut U.S. Growth, Destroy 2.3 Million Jobs, Add Over Trillion To Deficit (Just Like We TOLD You Would Happen)

February 4, 2014

This just in: Democrats are demon-possessed liars who destroyed America during that two-year period when they fascistically OWNED the White House, the Senate and the House (now they merely fascistically own the White House and the Senate, and you’d think they have no power or responsibility at all given the way they blame the House under GOP leadership for basically all the hell that has resulted from Democrat rule).

One of my very favorite Democrat-Obama lies from hell is actually one of the earliest: the lie that it was BUSH who somehow drove up the deficit in the year AFTER he left office and Obama has been reducing it ever since.

Here was one of my earlier responses to that one:

That is such bullcrap it is beyond unreal.

It is your assertion that it was President Damn Bush who passed the $862 billion stimulus on February 17, 2009 is it?

It is your assertion that it was President Damn Bush who did that $79 billion bailout for Government Motors and their union Democrats in 2009?

It is your assertion that it was President Damn Bush who signed that $410 billion Omnibus bill in March of 2009?

It is your assertion that it was President Damn Bush who left $350 billion in TARP money to President Damn Bush who spent it in early 2009???

It is your assertion that it was President Damn Bush who rammed that damned $2.6 trillion ObamaCare – Ooh, I’m sorry, GorgieCare bill – down our collectivist throats?

It’s really amazing to me what a lousy bunch of Marxists you liars truly ARE.  Obama passes all these things, takes credit for them, but when it’s time to be financially responsible for his own damn bills it’s more “Bush did it! Put all the garbage I did and took credit for on Bush’s bill!!!”

George Bush actually HAD a budget for FY-2009.  It was of course decried by you cockroach Democrats for its CUTS.  It had a deficit of $400 billion, you lying weasel.  And It didn’t have any of the above crap that you seem to think Bush was responsible for.

Obama cynically and ruthlessly exploited the technical fact that most of a new president’s first year is under the budget of his predecessor to LOAD UP THE DEFICIT in 2009.  Obama BLEW UP the deficit, which had been $10 trillion under Bush and is now well over $17.3 trillion.  Bush added over $4 trillion to the deficit over eight years, which of course was bad; Obama is on pace to more than TRIPLE that such that he will add over $12 trillion to our unpayable and unsustainable deficit before he leaves office in disgrace.

Even the liberal Washington Post fact checked that and gave it the Liar-in-Chief the maximum number of Pinocchios for his lie.  But like Hitler, Obama merely keeps telling his “Big Lie” over and over and over again.

Of course, our true debt is way north of $225 trillion now.  America is doomed.  It WILL collapse under the weight of Democrat debt.  And please don’t be so stupid and so depraved not to realize that 99.9 percent of all our debt has come from DEMOCRAT programs such as Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and now ObamaCare that just exploded federal spending far beyond the realm of sanity.  And the night before it all goes to hell, the media talking heads will be assuring you that everything will be fine.

Also, of course, the Demagogue-in-Chief has been so blatantly dishonest and hypocritical about the debt ceiling that it is beyond amazing.  That’s the man’s style.  Lie, lie, lie – and then demonize his opponents when the truth finally emerges.

And, of course, we’re only now BEGINNING to see just how truly awful and truly evil ObamaCare truly is.

Please understand that this latest CBO report STILL doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface as to how simply godawful ObamaCare will be to America.  Remember when it passed, laden with budget gimmickry designed to lie to the American people so they wouldn’t have any clue how demonic this piece of fascist garbage law truly would be?  They reported that ObamaCare would be “deficit neutral.”  And then the budget estimates just kept getting worse and worse as time passed.  Do you think now, with the ObamaCare monster only one-third out of its hellhole, that they’ve figured out how truly bad it is yet???  Not even CLOSE.

The UPI  article reporting on the latest ObamaCare fiasco today implicitly points out how truly bad the CBO has been in estimating the damage of ObamaCare:

WASHINGTON, Feb. 4 (UPI) — The White House Tuesday disputed claims a Congressional Budget Office study concluded the Affordable Care Act would cost millions of U.S. jobs.

The CBO study — which also said the ACA is projected to reduce the federal deficit by more than $1 trillion in 10 years — said the healthcare reform law is expected to reduce employment by about 2.3 million jobs during the same period. The new estimate nearly triples the previous CBO estimate of 800,000 jobs that the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare, was to have cost the economy, the Hill newspaper reported.

The law is expected to slow the economy and cause many people to leave the workforce, the impact being felt mostly by low-wage workers, the Washington Post said.

From “this fascist ObamaCare takeover is going to wipe out 800,000 jobs” to “this Nazi ObamaCare law is going to destroy 2.3 MILLION jobs.”  You almost get the sense that panicked CBO economists are desperately throwing darts at a board to try to get their hands on some kind of number to relay just how catastrophically horrible this thing is going to be.

I remember Nancy Pelosi boasting that her messiah’s ObamaCare would create 4 million jobs, with 400,000 jobs occurring immediately.  That depraved, dishonest witch ought to be in PRISON right now for her crime of lying to the American people.  Just like her false messiah Obama ought to be in prison right now.

The Washington Post piece on the CBO bombshell of the fascist ObamaCare takeover of healthcare also underscores the CBO’s inability to comprehend just how bad this lawless “law” truly is:

The Affordable Care Act will reduce the number of full-time workers by more than 2 million in coming years, congressional budget analysts said Tuesday, a finding that sent the White House scrambling to defend a law that has bedeviled President Obama for years.

After obtaining coverage through the health law, some workers may forgo employment, while others may reduce hours, according to a report by the Congressional Budget Office. Low-wage workers are the most likely to drop out of the workforce as a result of the law, it said. The CBO said the law’s impact on jobs mostly would be felt after 2016.

Republicans quickly pointed to the report’s findings as more evidence of the health law’s flaws, one of their major themes ahead of this year’s mid-term elections. Republicans see the Affordable Care Act as a political boon this year, after the disastrous launch of the law’s Web site last fall.

The CBO report said those rocky beginnings of the federal online marketplace would suppress enrollment this year, though not in the future. The agency predicted that the number of Americans who buy private health plans through the new insurance exchanges before a March 31 deadline for coverage in 2014 will be 6 million, while the number of low-income people who join Medicaid this year will be 8 million.

Both figures are one million fewer people than the CBO had forecast the last time it issued such a prediction, nine months ago.

Off by a million people in only nine months.  Because after all, what’s a million people between friends?  It’s kind of like Obama’s totalitarian big-government socialist buddy Joseph Stalin put it: one death is a tragedy; one million is a statistic.  Under messiah Obama, we’re all just “statistics” now.  And, of course, as the next Democrat president would have  you believe, “What difference does it make?”

But you see how the estimates just keep getting worse and worse???

Notice the description of the moral hazard of people who will simply abandon TRYING to get a low-wage job and simply skate on the dole with their free Medicaid.  This was a job-destroying act in every possible way you can slice it.

Barack Obama is the worst liar and the most amply DOCUMENTED liar in the history of the United States.  If he says good morning, the man is lying.  President “If you like your health plan you can keep your health plan.  Period.  End of story” has proven that.  A pit viper has more credibility than Obama and is far less dangerous to your health.

Take a trip down memory lane.  Conservatives have been ACCURATELY PREDICTING exactly what has happened under ObamaCare.  And Democrats viciously and rabidly demonized us in every way imaginable for telling the thing they hate the most – the TRUTH.  Because if you are a Democrat you hate the truth and call people who tell the truth “racist.”

People like me tried to warn America.  But the American people overall have become ignorant and depraved and frankly pathetic.  I think of Nazi Germany and a man who tried to warn that nation:

I am writing this from cell 24. Outside a new Germany is being created. Many millions are rejoicing. Hitler is promising everyone precisely what they want. I think when they wake to their sobering senses, they will find they have been led by the nose and duped by lies.”

That’s YOU, America.  YOUR country has been “fundamentally transformed” by the very worst kind of liar.  By the time most of you people finally wake up to your sobering senses, your country will have imploded under the weight of its own debt and moral stupidity and you will have nothing.  And of course what will you do?  Being wicked, you will keep rejecting the God whom you have already rejected with your love of abortion and sodomy and you will instead put your trust in total socialism.  And that’s when the beast prophesied in Revelation will come to finish the job Obama started.

Barack Obama, The Liar Without Shame, Integrity Or Honor

March 12, 2013

We’ve seen Obama take a GIANT hit in his approval/disapproval polls in the last few weeks.  He is now at his lowest level of approval (and highest level of disapproval) since November 2011.

What we saw four years ago (when we voted for this turd the first time) was a man who dishonestly promised to be something completely different from what he really was.  And last year when we re-elected the same turd we now know that we fell for the same trick again.  The American people finally saw through the media filter of propaganda and saw the vile lies that were constantly drooling out of the mouth of Obama over the sequester.  And they voiced that they didn’t like what this lying fraud was doing enough that Obama changed his “war on the Republican Party” with his “charm offensive” where he finally meets with the Republicans after YEARS of refusing to meet with them.

Obama assumed his new term on January 20; it was only a month later that the American people started to turn on their Liar in Chief.

Democrats believe that they will retake the House (as well as keep the Senate) two years from now in 2014.  But they have already forgotten the historic ass kicking they suffered in 2010 when Republicans surged to historic gains both nationally and across the states.

The same thing is shaping up again for 2014.  Obama and Democrats are fascists who will go beyond both the acceptable level of restraint every single time they’re trusted with power.

On my view, it’s too late.  The beast is coming; we made certain of that in our stupid and depraved vote for Obama.  And the American people have demonstrated levels of ignorance, foolishness, wickedness, and an inability to do anything but emotionally react such that we sway from one party’s victory and then go the exact opposite direction in the very next election.

Ultimately, until the soon-coming collapse of America, the “electorate” will be increasingly composed of a people who have been sold a) the Marxist class warfare lie of a “State” that will redistribute the wealth and b) the racist and race warfare lie that black people and Hispanic people in particular will get to benefit as Democrats punish white people and buy their vote with other people’s money.  Even if they’re illegal immigrants.

When we collapse under the sheer weight of our debt and our moral stupidity, the beast will come just as we deserve.

The beast will be the fulfillment of every single big government dream that Obama ever had.  He will literally seize complete power over the economy, instituting a mark that will completely control access as to who buys and who sells.

We’ve already voted for that vision.  We’ve already voted that one day we want to take that mark of the beast as a society.

And in the ensuing collapse of America – that liberals have been dreaming about creating and exploiting for fifty years – the people will demand that the State take care of them and help them.  In doing so, they will be turning to the very thing that destroyed the economy in the first place.  But in the last days, the Word tells us that the world will be gripped by a spirit of delusion.

It’s interesting how media propaganda works.

Liberals – and even more importantly liberal “journalists” who are constitutionally required to be objective but are now nothing but political propagandists – have been telling us for YEARS how Bill Clinton created a surplus and George Bush squandered it.  They didn’t bother to tell you that we got to a “surplus” only AFTER Republicans historically took control of both the House and the Senate two years into Clinton’s presidency, or that Bill Clinton first had to admit that “the era of big government is over”, or that it had been the Republican Contract with America that brought Republicans to power that promised balanced budgets.  Liberals and “journalists” are simply pathologically dishonest people, and facts are things that must be denied or ignored altogether as they fabricate new “facts” in the place of the truth.

But it is actually even WORSE.  For years and years, Democrats have been talking about a “Clinton surplus” THAT NEVER EVEN EXISTED IN THE FIRST PLACE.

It turns out that the entire Clinton budget “surplus” was the theoretical existing-ONLY-on-paper CBO PROJECTION that was based on erroneous assumptions that resulted in a “surplus” that NEVER HAPPENED.

The CBO projected a surplus that actually became a DEFICIT.

And Democrats then perverted their fantasy “surplus” into a war against tax cuts, arguing that Clinton gave us a “surplus” with his higher tax rates and Bush gave us a deficit with his lower tax rates:

President Obama and congressional Democrats are blaming their trillion-dollar budget deficits on the Bush tax cuts of 2001 and 2003. Letting these tax cuts expire is their answer. Yet the data flatly contradict this “tax cuts caused the deficits” narrative. Consider the three most persistent myths:

The Bush tax cuts wiped out last decade’s budget surpluses. Sen. John Kerry (D., Mass.), for example, has long blamed the tax cuts for having “taken a $5.6 trillion surplus and turned it into deficits as far as the eye can see.” That $5.6 trillion surplus never existed. It was a projection by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) in January 2001 to cover the next decade. It assumed that late-1990s economic growth and the stock-market bubble (which had already peaked) would continue forever and generate record-high tax revenues. It assumed no recessions, no terrorist attacks, no wars, no natural disasters, and that all discretionary spending would fall to 1930s levels.

The projected $5.6 trillion surplus between 2002 and 2011 will more likely be a $6.1 trillion deficit through September 2011. So what was the cause of this dizzying, $11.7 trillion swing? I’ve analyzed CBO’s 28 subsequent budget baseline updates since January 2001. These updates reveal that the much-maligned Bush tax cuts, at $1.7 trillion, caused just 14% of the swing from projected surpluses to actual deficits (and that is according to a “static” analysis, excluding any revenues recovered from faster economic growth induced by the cuts).

The CENTER of the Democrat Party’s attack against Republican Party economic policies was A LIE.

It was a lie that was reported as a “fact” by a completely dishonest and evil mainstream media again and again and again and again.  And they are STILL generating that lie as a “fact.”

I wondered about that “fact” given that liberals kept claiming a “Clinton surplus” when the debt went UP every single year of Clinton’s presidency.

I also historically documented the FACT that tax revenues have INCREASED every single time the tax rates have been CUT because allowing people to actually keep their own damn money is a powerful incentive to invest and start businesses and expand and thus grow the economy and the overall tax base.

I am somebody who interacts with the news dang near every day as well as somebody who is particularly interested in topics such as the so-called (and now we know is FALSELY so-called) “Clinton budget surplus.”  And yet I did not see that admission that the whole thing was a “projection” that amounted to smoke and mirrors.  It is amazing how difficult it is for truth to filter through in these last days.

Other than “the devil” and “evil”, the complete dishonesty and bias of the mainstream media is probably the single leading reason that the beast will come.  You need to understand that God ordained the coming seven years of pure hell on earth called the Tribulation to judge mankind for its wickedness.  We’re smiling on homosexual sodomy marriage that produces no children while we pile the tiny carcasses of the most innocent of all human beings on the alter of “a woman’s right to choose” to burn in hell.  And we’re doing it with a defiant annoncement that it is a good thing to rebel against God.  The seven years of Tribulation is coming because the world has reached that point.  And I greive to say that the United States led the world into debauchery and open defiance against its God.  And when you’ve got these kinds of lies all around you every single day that we BELIEVE “the Clinton budget surplus” because it’s become a fact through sheer Big Lie repetition, we’re ready to receive the mark of the beast that will be sold to us the same way.  And we are seeing more lies passed off as “truth” today than ever before in this nation.  The media is leading us to hell every bit as much as the Democrat Party is; if anything the Democrat Party is the constantly shifting political wing of the cultural monster of the mainstream media.  We’re fish swimming around in the toxic brew of our culture and our gills are clogged with its muck.

Obama, of course, has repeatedly cited the “fact” that tax cuts massively increase budget deficits as the centerpiece of his Marxist class warfare demand for higher and higher and higher taxes.  And he is a liar for having seized that big lie.

We just saw Obama resort to so many outright lies in his sequester demagoguery that it was beyond unreal.  The man literally counts on the mainstream media’s ability to obliterate facts and substitute lies in their place.  Thank God that lies haven’t completely covered this land and most people KNOW Obama lied about the sequester that despite his lies was actually HIS creation in the first place.

In the same way that Obama kept talking about “balance” during the sequester debate when all he was in fact doing was drooling out one wicked lie after another instead of manifesting ANY “balance” whatsoever, Obama has also routinely said that he was personally responsible for the increase in oil production.

That’s as big of a lie as his slandering George Bush with a four trillion dollar debt over four years before Obama himself ran up SIX TRILLION DOLLARS of debt in only FOUR years.

Oil production has massively declined on the federal lands under Obama’s jurisdiction.  The only increase in production has largely occurred on private lands where Obama has little sway.  But to the extent he’s been able to, Obama has thwarted all the private oil harvesting that he could kill.  And the increase has occurred IN SPITE of his aggressive efforts to destroy oil whether we need it or not.

We know all the damn lies this liar told us to sell his damn ObamaCare fascism.

Because of the domination of the mainstream media that is throughly and in fact pathologically dishonest and biased, and thanks to the presidency of the most vile liar that America has ever seen, we are being led by the nose and duped by lies just as has happened so many times to nations whose wicked leaders had defied God.

CBO Warns ‘Fiscal Cliff’ Looms If Bush Tax Cuts Aren’t Continued And Automatic Cuts Gutting Defense Aren’t DIScontinued (Democrats On Wrong Side Of BOTH Issues)

May 24, 2012

Bush tax cuts good, Democrats bad.  And the automatic cuts that will gut defense bad, Democrats trying to prevent their suspension worse.  That according to the CBO.

The CBO says if the Bush tax cuts aren’t extended – i.e., Bush was right, Democrats and Obama were wrong – and if the automatic cuts that resulted from the last budget impasse aren’t suspended, the U.S. economy will go down the toilet starting January 1st of next year.

The funny thing – at least the funny thing if you can see humor in the Democrat Party destroying America – is that Democrats are on the wrong side of both of these issues.  We all know the Democrat Party’s histrionics over the Bush tax cuts from the day Bush cut taxes in 2003; but you should also know that Obama is not only in favor of the automatic cuts that the CBO is warning are a bad thing, but Obama has in fact promised to veto any bill that would overturn them.  And this in spite of the fact that Obama’s own Secretary of Defense has stated that the cuts Obama is demanding would utterly gut the US military and take America back to pre-World War II levels when we were weak and ripe for a devastating attack.

House Republicans are trying to avert the disaster that both the CBO and Secretary of Defense Panetta have warned us about.  Just as they’re trying to keep the Bush tax cuts in place for every single American and for the overall American economy.

Basically, the CBO is warning you that if Democrats get power in 2012, we’re all pretty much screwed:

‘Fiscal Cliff’ Looms for U.S. Economy, CBO Warns

Allowing Bush-era tax cuts to expire coupled with a scheduled round of automatic spending cuts would probably throw the U.S. economy into a tailspin. That’s the dire warning from a new Congressional Budget Office report that says the economy would contract by 1.3 percent in the first half 2013, pushing off a ”fiscal cliff” on Jan. 1.

That’s when a higher tax rate would kick in if the Bush-era tax cuts aren’t extended and more than $100 billion in automatic cuts in domestic spending for agencies such as the Pentagon are kept in place.

“Simply extending all of our current tax and spending policies will produce unsustainable deficits and debt, which will also send the economy into decline,” Rep. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., the top Democrat on the Budget Committee, told the Associated Press. “We need to act and we must do so in a balanced way.”

Though lawmakers are expected to head off a shift in the government’s financial situation later this year or in early 2013, the CBO says if nothing is done it would likely push the US economy into recession and wring hundreds of billions of dollars from the budget deficit. That would “represent an additional drag on the weak economic expansion,” the CBO says.

The CBO is a nonpartisan agency of Congress that produces economic analysis and estimates of the cost of legislation.

Last summer’s debt and budget agreement imposed almost $1 trillion in cuts to agency budgets over the coming decade and required automatic cuts of another $1 trillion or so.

The CBO study comes as Congress is gridlocked over spending and taxes in advance of the fall elections. The White House and top Democrats are refusing to act on the expiring tax cuts and automatic spending cuts unless Republicans show greater flexibility on raising taxes.

If no deal is reached, the CBO projects that the economy would shrink by 1.3 percent in the first half of 2013, which would meet the definition of a recession, which is when the economy shrinks for two consecutive quarters.

“Such a contraction in output in the first half of 2013 would probably be judged to be a recession,” CBO said.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

The “Bush tax cuts” are named after BUSH for good reason.  He was the one who got them through with the help of Republicans against bitter Democrat opposition.  Those tax cuts helped get America out of one hell of a hell-hole as a result of the Clinton DotCom bust and the 9/11 attacks that were likewise principally the fault of Bill Clinton.  In the DotCom bubble collapse, America lost over $7.1 TRILLION in wealth that was just vaporized; and the Nasdaq valuation saw 78% of its portfolio wiped out as a result of a giant recession that Bill Clinton handed to George Bush.  And the 9/11 attack was the result of Clinton’s gutting both the military and the intelligence budgets leaving America both weak and blind.  And after the humiliating “Blackhawk Down” retreat from Somalia, it was inevitable that under Bill Clinton al Qaeda “realized that the American soldier was just a paper tiger” as a terrorist named Osama bin Laden said.  Al Qaeda attacked America because Bill Clinton opened the door for them to attack America.

Contrary to what the Democrats have always wrongly believed, tax rate cuts have ALWAYS increased U.S. tax revenues every single time we have ever cut our tax rates.  It worked when Calvin Coolidge did it; it worked when John F. Kennedy did it; it worked when Ronald Reagan did it; and yes, it worked when George W. Bush did it.

When you allow the American people to keep more of what they earned, they simply make better decisions that improve their own lives and the overall health of the economy far more than when the government taxes and redistributes.  Everybody understands that middle class Americans with more purchasing power is a good thing; but it is equally true that when wealthier Americans are allowed to invest and be rewarded for their investment risks, the net result is economic growth and job growth for everybody.

Mayor Cory Booker – a prominent Democrat and Obama ally – said this of the unrelenting attack on private equity in general and Bain Capital in particular:

“As far as that stuff, I have to just say from a very personal level, I’m not about to sit here and indict private equity. To me, it’s just this–we’re getting to a ridiculous point in America, especially that I know. I live in a state where pension funds, unions and other people are investing in companies like Bain Capital. If you look at the totality of Bain Capital’s record, it ain’t–they’ve done a lot to support businesses, to grow businesses, And this, to me, I’m very uncomfortable with.“

Booker is openly acknowledging that private equity is a good thing; that it has an enormous net benefit for cities and for states and for the nation.  As do a growing list of Democrats, from Gov. Ed Rendell to Harold Ford to Obama auto czar Steven Rattner to Gov. Deval Patrick to several prominent Democrat US Senators.

Bain Capital points out the fact that:

Despite political attacks that emphasize the few companies that have struggled, the facts are that during Bain Capital’s ownership, revenues grew in 80 percent of the more than 350 companies in which we have invested.

Eight out of ten times Mitt Romney stepped up to the plate he hit a home run and grew the businesses he rescued from bankruptcy.  But Obama deceitfully tries to only allow discussion of the two out of ten times that he didn’t.

And then you further find out the sheer duplicity that is Barack Obama: the man who has demonized private equity is at the same time gobbling up MORE MONEY from these firms than Mitt Romney!!!!  And that is primarily because of another profound act of cynical Obama dishonesty: because in blatant contradiction to his promise to reign in lobbyists and special interest pacs, Obama has in fact opened the floodgates to both.

Barack Obama has attended FIVE TIMES more fundraisers THAN THE PREVIOUS FIVE PRESIDENTS COMBINED.  And a lot of corrupt investors are realizing that the most corrupt money-grubbing whore that has ever infested the White House has opened the doors to crony capitalist boondoggles in which you give Obama a few thousand dollars in campaign contributions and rake in millions or even HUNDREDS of millions of dollars in taxpayer money for the next soon-to-be-bankrupt-boondoggle

EIGHTY PERCENT of green energy loans somehow ended up in the pockets of OBAMA DONORSHere’s a list of who got money.  It is utterly bankrupt.  You can’t find this level of corruption in the entire history of the republic.

It’s implicit from the CBO report: Democrats are the problem and Republicans are the solution to preventing America from going over the “fiscal cliff” that Obama and the Democrats have in store for America.

Who Do You Trust More To Tell Us About Unemployment? Big Brother (8.3%) Or Gallup (9.1%)?

March 10, 2012

Which turned out to be more accurate?

We must win the war, and we can win it! Each man and each woman, the entire German people, must call forth their utmost in work, courage, and discipline.” — Nazi government, January 1945

Or:

I am writing this from cell 24. Outside a new Germany is being created. Many millions are rejoicing. Hitler is promising everyone precisely what they want. I think when they wake to their sobering senses, they will find they have been led by the nose and duped by lies.” — Jailed journalist Stephen Laurant, circa 1935

Sometimes it is vital to pick the right people or the right agencies to believe.

Right now the Obama government is telling us that the unemployment rate is 8.3 percent and about to drop even further after numerous positive developments.

That view is not shared by leading polling organization Gallup:

Gallup: Unemployment at 9.1%, But 19% Need Jobs
Thursday, 08 Mar 2012 02:19 PM
By Martin Gould

The unemployment rate shot up by half a percentage point in February, according to figures released by the polling organization Gallup on Thursday.

The jump from 8.6 percent in January to 9.1 percent last month is the largest month-by-month increase in more than a year, Gallup said. It is the highest rate since August.

Gallup’s figures differ from the official government unemployment rate because they do not adjust the figure for seasonal variations or include anyone under 18. The survey suggests that the official figures will also show an increase from January’s 8.3 percent when they are released on Friday, said Gallup’s chief economist Dennis Jacobe.

“If the government’s unadjusted unemployment rate increases to the degree that Gallup’s has from mid-month to mid-month, then the government’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate could show an even larger increase,” Jacobe said.

He predicted the government figure for February would stand at either 8.5 or 8.6 percent.

Gallup’s figure reveals the largest single month increase since December 2010 when it went up from 8.8 percent to 9.6 percent. According to the organization, the underemployment rate – which includes part-time workers who want to be in full-time employment, rose from 18.7 percent to 19.1 percent in February, the highest since last May.

“Regardless of what the government reports, Gallup’s unemployment and underemployment measures show a substantial deterioration since mid-January,” added Jacobe. “In this context, the increase in unemployment as measured by Gallup may, at least partly, reflect growth in the workforce, as more Americans who had given up looking for work become slightly more optimistic and start looking for work again.

“So while there may be positive signs, the reality Gallup finds is that more Americans are looking for work now than were doing so just six weeks ago.
Official Bureau of Labor Statistics unemployment figures have shown the rate go down from 9 percent since September.

And even Gallup is far more optimistic than the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office as stated in its annual report:

The [CBO] office says that will leave the unemployment rate at 8.9 percent at the end of this year, well above current the current rate of 8.5 percent, meaning the jobless rate would be increasing at election time.

[…]

And in 2013, CBO estimates unemployment will be even higher — at 9.2 percent.

As to the question as to whether Obama has created more jobs or destroyed jobs, this conversation was telling during official testimony with CBO director Douglas Elmendorf:

That prompted this exchange between Rep. Tom McClintock, R-Calif., and the CBO director. “Let me ask you, are there more people working today or fewer people working today than at the — on inauguration day of 2009?” McClintock asked.

“I believe the answer to that,” said Elmendorf, “is there are fewer people, congressman.”

Who are you going to believe?

There is an intentionally false picture being presented by somebody (see also here and here).  That much is abundantly clear.

In the case of Nazi Germany, had the German people believed the likes of Stephen Laurant, imagine how much suffering they could have spared themselves and the rest of the world.  But they were fools who chose to believe the wrong people.

Right now, Barack Obama is trying to get himself re-elected so there will be absolutely no reason for him to restrain himself in the pursuit of policies that will lead America to economic ruin.

Like the German people prior to World War II, if the American people foolishly choose to believe the wrong sources, we won’t get a do-over; they will rightly receive ruin.  Because we are responsible for our choices in this world.

Gallup Predicts New Unemployment Rate Will Skyrocket To 8.6 Percent

March 6, 2012

Note that the actual official unemployment rate ought to be 9.1 percent in February.  Note that the last few months of snowjob from the Obama media was a giant crock of crap.

You should also note that the REAL unemployment rate is actually over NINETEEN PERCENT!!!

Note that the dire CBO prediction regarding the weak and faltering US economy under Obama is coming to pass (and see a more detailed explanation of the CBO report here).

Gallup’s Unadjusted Unemployment Data Suggest Increase in BLS Adjusted Figure

Gallup finds U.S. unemployment, as measured without seasonal adjustment, to be 9.1% in February, based on almost 30,000 interviews with a random sample of Americans. When Gallup applies the 0.5-percentage-point seasonal adjustment that the government applied to its unadjusted data for February last year, it produces an adjusted unemployment rate for February 2012 of 8.6% — a substantial increase from the 8.3% adjusted rate the government reported for January.

The findings provide a preview of what Gallup will report in its monthly employment release next Thursday, March 8. Because Gallup’s data are collected continuously throughout the month, the data are available now, one week ahead of the BLS report scheduled for Friday, March 9.

Three key factors help determine the relationship between Gallup’s measurement of the unemployment rate and the unemployment rate reported by the government. The first involves the relationship between Gallup’s and the government’s unadjusted survey results. Data from the past two years show that on an unadjusted basis, Gallup’s and the government’s unemployment measurements track fairly closely in both direction and magnitude.

Gallup reported an unadjusted rate of 8.6% for January 2012 and the government reported an unadjusted rate of 8.8%. Gallup’s and the government’s unadjusted results also tracked closely in January 2011 (9.9% versus 9.8%, respectively) and January 2010 (10.9% compared with 10.6%).

The results were similarly close in February 2010 (when Gallup found 10.6% versus the government’s 10.4%) but diverged significantly in February 2011, when Gallup reported an unadjusted rate of 10.3% and the government an unadjusted rate of 9.5%. That is, after the government re-based its unemployment data in January 2011, Gallup’s and the government’s February results differed in both magnitude and direction.

Relating Gallup’s current findings to the likely unemployment rate the government will report for February depends on a number of somewhat complex key assumptions. Consider the following scenarios:
Based on its full-month measure, Gallup finds that the unadjusted unemployment rate increased by 0.5 points, to an average of 9.1% in February from 8.6% in January.
  • If we assume the government’s unadjusted unemployment rate experienced a similar 0.5-point increase, it would rise to 9.3% in February from January’s 8.8%. Applying the 0.5-point seasonal adjustment (based on the government’s February 2011 adjustment) to the February 2012 unadjusted rate (9.3%) would result in an increase in the U.S. seasonally adjusted unemployment rate to 8.8% in February 2012 from January’s 8.3%.
  • If we instead assume the government’s unadjusted rate increased by 0.3 points in February to exactly match Gallup’s measurement at 9.1%, this would produce an increase in the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate to 8.6% in February 2012 — assuming the use of the February 2011 seasonal adjustment of 0.5 points.
Of course, there are lots of other possible assumptions. For example, the government’s unemployment estimate is based on a mid-month measurement. Gallup’s mid-month measurement for the unadjusted unemployment rate in January 2012 was 8.3% and it was 9.0% in mid-February. If we were to apply this mid-month increase of 0.7 points to the government’s unadjusted January rate of 8.8%, the resulting unadjusted 9.5% would lead to a 9.0% seasonally adjusted rate.

On the other hand, the government re-based its household survey once again in January 2012. If the government’s unadjusted survey results are unchanged (8.8%) or go lower in February, the government’s seasonally adjusted rate is likely to do the same.

A second factor to consider is the way the government seasonally adjusts its unadjusted unemployment rate for February. As noted previously, the government used a 0.5-point adjustment factor to seasonally adjust its results in February 2011. However, in 2010, it used a slightly different 0.6-point adjustment. Applying this larger seasonal adjustment to Gallup’s full-month results would produce an 8.5% adjusted unemployment rate for February 2012 — up from 8.3% in January.

A third factor that affects the unemployment rate might involve shifts taking place in the size of the workforce. If Americans seeking work get discouraged and drop out of the workforce in large numbers, it is likely to reduce the unemployment rate. This appears to have happened at various points in the past. Gallup’s measurement of the participation rate — the percentage of Americans in the workforce — shows a decline to 67.6% in February from 68.2% in January. If the government shows a similar decline in the workforce, it is likely to lower the U.S. unemployment rate that the government reports and that may not be fully picked up by Gallup’s data.

In sum, Gallup’s Daily tracking of the U.S. unemployment rate — which is not seasonally or otherwise adjusted — shows an increase in February from January. This reflects a consistent measurement of the job-market reality that Gallup has measured since January 2010. It may be that various factors will lead the U.S. government on Friday, March 9, to release a different unemployment rate than that implied by Gallup’s results, but that report will not change the reality in the marketplace.

Under Obama’s failed leadership millions and millions of Americans have simply given up and dropped out of the employment picture altogether.  And Obama loves it when he’s crushed the spirit of another worker, because that artificially lowers the unemployment rate and makes his failure artificially appear good.

This economy is teetering and on its way to a very hard fall.  And it is simply beyond laughable that the propaganda media would continually tell us that things are going just peachy dandy under their messiah’s marvellous leadership.

The Intentionally False Picture In The Latest Employment Report

February 4, 2012

The hype over the lastest unemployment report is bizarre given that it followed the CBO annual report by just one day.  Here are a few pointers from that report:

Has Obama created or destroyed jobs since taking office?

That prompted this exchange between Rep. Tom McClintock, R-Calif., and the CBO director. “Let me ask you, are there more people working today or fewer people working today than at the — on inauguration day of 2009?” McClintock asked.

“I believe the answer to that,” said Elmendorf, “is there are fewer people, congressman.”

Is Obama’s economic plan succeeding or wildly failing to create jobs?

The [CBO] office says that will leave the unemployment rate at 8.9 percent at the end of this year, well above current the current rate of 8.5 percent, meaning the jobless rate would be increasing at election time.

[…]

And in 2013, CBO estimates unemployment will be even higher — at 9.2 percent.

And here is a more detailed contemplation of that report.

That CBO report got little play from leftist birdcage liners such as the LA Times (I paid $20 for a one-year weekend subscription – to get the coupons rather than the “reporting” – and actually got a $25 gift card from a major retailer followed by the Times upgrading me to daily delivery for free without my even wanting it.  So that should tell you what the paper is actually worth), but the unemployment report is being so breathlessly hyped it is positively UNREAL.

But there’s something even more disturbing that that about the unemployment report:

Employment Report: Blatant And Outrageous Lies
by the Market Ticker

There are times when one questions a report as possibly being wrong or in error, and then there are times when one has to raise a flag and say “This is an intentionally false picture being presented by a government agency.”

I’m in the latter camp with this one, and it is rare for me to brand something as not possibly wrong and in error, but intentionally fraudulent.

Total nonfarm payroll employment rose by 243,000 in January, and the unemployment rate decreased to 8.3 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Job growth was widespread in the private sector, with large employment gains in professional and business services, leisure and hospitality, and manufacturing. Government employment changed little over the month.

This looks really good; here’s the chart that is on the front page:

I wish I could take this report, pick it apart at the household level, and find confirmation. Remember that last month the alleged 200,000 jobs that were gained were a phantom; when one looked inside the household data we found instead deterioration in both the employment participation rate and a decline in the absolute number of employed persons, while population rose. That is, the actual counts (as opposed to black-box statements) said that the labor picture deteriorated in December, contrary to the reported numbers.

This month it was worse. Far worse.

Let’s start with the “base picture” that is causing the cheering:

That nice red line looks good, right? Well……

“Not in labor force” numbers leaped upward on an annualized basis (seasonally adjusted the “right way”) and what’s worse on a raw basis 1.572 million people exited the labor force last month.

This is reflected in the percentage of those not in the labor force as a percentage of the working-age population, which hit an all-time high going back to the initiation of the data series I’ve tracked since 1999:

That’s 0.6% of the entire labor force that departed the working population in one month, three times the alleged drop in the unemployment rate. This means that internally, the numbers were even worse than they first appear!

Indeed, the total number of employed persons fell. A lot. To put a number on it, the total number of employed persons fell by 737,000 by actual count.

Now the cheerleaders will state that this is a common thing in January, and indeed it is. But the correct adjustment is to look at the population increase and subtract that back off as well. In other words, we take the loss of employment and add the population growth. When we do this we get a whopping 2.422 million in the wrong direction which was bested only by the -2.618 million in January of 2009 through the process of this downturn!

In fact other than January 2009 there has never been a single month in my table, which dates back to 1999, that put up a worse combined number. This “performance” rates a literal “second from utter despair and disaster”, and the employment rate shows it:

This is not a strong report folks, and in fact documents an actual and ongoing collapse in the US labor force, despite the crooning on the mainstream media disinformation channels!

We live in an age in which the most dishonest administration relies on the  most dishonest media propaganda in American history.

At least Hitler had the intellectual integrity to CALL his “news” propaganda.

CBO Director States For The Official Record That Obama Has Destroyed Jobs And Will CONTINUE To Destroy Jobs

February 3, 2012

Both of these statements from the Democrat-appointed CBO director prove that Barack Hussein Obama is a pathological liar on THE most fundamental issues that the American people care about.  Obama says that he has created 2 million jobs; he is a liar from the lowest snake pit.  And Obama claims that his policies are working WHEN THEY ARE WILDLY FAILING AND WILL FAIL WORSE IN THE COMING MONTHS.

Here is the story which details all of the above and more:

Congressional budget chief offers dim outlook on economic growth, jobs
By Jim Angle
Published February 01, 2012 | FoxNews.com

Congressional Budget Office Director Doug Elmendorf on Wednesday projected that economic growth will slow by next year and unemployment will rise before that — a forecast that Rep. Paul Ryan called ominous, grim and alarming.

Elmendorf laid out the latest projections on the economy and deficits before the House Budget Committee on Capitol Hill.

Ryan, R-Wis., who is chairman, raised alarm given projections that 2012 “will mark the fourth straight year of trillion-dollar deficits.”

“Trillions more dollars will be added to debt in the years ahead, putting a chilling effect on jobs creation today and committing the next generation to a diminished future,” he said.

Democratic Rep. Chris Van Hollen took a different approach, saying deficits and growth would have been worse without President Obama’s stimulus plan. “The Recovery Act did serve its purpose. It’s kind of like when you’re walking up an escalator that’s going down very quickly. If you take no action you will go down very fast,” he said.

Yet future deficits depend in large part on how fast the economy grows, along with spending and revenues. And on that front, the CBO isn’t offering a lot of encouragement.

“The pace of the recovery has been slow since the recession ended two and a half years ago,” Elmendorf said. “And we project that it will continue to be slow for the next two years.”

The CBO believes that economic growth will be only 2 percent this year — and an anemic 1.1 percent next year.

The office says that will leave the unemployment rate at 8.9 percent at the end of this year, well above current the current rate of 8.5 percent, meaning the jobless rate would be increasing at election time.

And in 2013, CBO estimates unemployment will be even higher — at 9.2 percent.

Republicans have been wringing their hands about deficits for years, but one Democrat on Wednesday railed against those who focus only on cutting spending.

“Because there are people here that want to destroy the government, that it has no responsibility and it can’t live up to the obligations,” said Rep. Bill Pascrell, D-N.J.

Several Democrats asked about how much revenues would be increased by eliminating the Bush tax cuts in hopes of avoiding more spending cuts.

One of the factors that will expand future deficits is entitlements, such as Medicare, which will explode as the baby boomers retire.

Elmendorf explained that “the fundamental fiscal challenge during this decade and beyond remains the aging of the population and rising costs for health care. The number of people aged 65 or older will increase by one-third in the coming decade, substantially raising the costs of Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.”

In addition, he said, the new federal health care overhaul will significantly increase the number of non-elderly people receiving assistance through federal health care programs, such as Medicaid.

All of that is likely to balloon current levels of debt.

The CBO did project declining deficits under “current law.”

But current law would end the Bush tax cuts for everyone, even those making less than $250,000 a year, which neither Congress nor the president supports.

It would also mean a cut of almost 30 percent to doctors who treat Medicare patients, which Congress has never let take effect.

Here is the CBO unemployment prediction from its report:

I wrote about this complete and total lie of Obama’s claims of creating jobs has been a couple of weeks ago.  Basically, you can look at the labor participation rate to see that Obama has destroyed two-and-a-half million jobs; and if we used the same participation rate under Bush that we now have under Obama, unemployment would be well over eleven percent:

8 Illuminating Charts That Show How Truly Failed Obamanomics Truly Is

Please read my article (that also just came out today) on the shocking immoral disaster that Social Security was from the very beginning.

Consider that the real debt of our nation is $211 trillion, not the $16 trillion we hear about, and that Democrats have saddled us with virtually every single penny of a debt that we can never hope to repay and which will ultimately implode and destroy this nation.  That’s the past that Democrats have immorally saddled us with in their effort to control our lives and our fortunes while they stole whatever sacred honor we otherwise could have aspired to.

Then consider the future that Democrats have in store for us as you contemplate all of Barack Obama’s shocking lies and the slowly sinking path to hell he has planned for us with his death by 4,200 – and counting – regulations.

Consider the ObamaCare boondoggle that has 160 new death panels in it:

Consider what CBO Director Elmendorf said about Obama’s documented history of job destruction as well as his prediction of future Obama job destruction.

And then please vote for America by voting against Obama this November.

America may not be able to survive anyway; but it definitely can’t survive another four years of Obama.

Stimulus An Even Bigger Treasonous Failure Than Americans Thought It Was, Says CBO

December 14, 2011

Obama spent $862 billion dollars of our money and our children’s money and their children’s children’s children’s money.

A more precise estimate of what Obama spent is actually $3.27 TRILLION.  Because a lot of the stimulus required more expenditures down the road.

That bought Obama a lot of political payback as his crony capitalist fascist buddies who benefitted from all of this pork slush gave him over a billion dollars in camaign warchest money.

But did it help the United States?  Did it help the American people?

Stupid question, frankly.  It was never really intended to help anybody but Obama and his friends.

New CBO Reports Show Stimulus Even Less Effective Than Previously Believed
Kevin Glass   Managing Editor, Townhall.com
Dec 14, 2011

Buried within the Congressional Budget Office’s most recent report on the progress of President Obama’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Act was a surprising admission: the CBO now estimates the stimulus might have been only half as effective as previously thought.

You wouldn’t know it from the headlines. “Stimulus added up to 3.3M jobs,” reads a representative piece from Politico reporting on the November CBO report. This headline is accurate for the high-end estimate. That estimate, however, is essentially unchanged from previous reports. In the past, the CBO’s low estimate for jobs “created or saved” was 1.2 million which, in this report, has dropped to only 600,000.

A particularly unusual requirement in the stimulus was that the CBO issue regular reports on its estimates of the legislation’s economic effectiveness. Standard neo-Keynesian macroeconomics, to which the CBO has long seemed to subscribe in its economic modeling, posits that government spending creates a “multiplier effect” that ripples throughout the economy and creates more growth than it would normally appear to. The CBO’s newest report cuts one of their estimates in half, validating conservative criticism that they’ve been overestimating the effect of the stimulus.

If the debate about the law was shaped by the possibility that a $825 billion spending law would yield only six hundred thousand jobs, the debate may have been a lot different. Over $1.3 million dollars per job “created or saved?” That’s not a number that Democrats are eager to be touting on Capitol Hill.

The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities put together a chart representing the CBO’s revised estimates:

It might be difficult to find those who would argue that the stimulus was worth it if the CBO’s new low-end estimate of jobs “created or saved” is accurate. The left will always have Paul Krugman and similar ideologically-aligned colleagues arguing that the CBO is wrong, that the economic multipliers are higher, and that the CBO is actually underestimating the growth that comes from a massive injection of government money into the economy. The problem for Krugman et. al is that the economics on such undertakings are far from settled.

Studies attempting to estimate the effects of countercyclical fiscal policy have found an incredibly wide range of possibilities. While the CBO estimates a multiplier effect between 0.5 and 2.5, academic literature is even further apart. IMF economists writing about recent studies found estimates that government spending could be either significantly harmful or even more effective than the most optimistic CBO scenario. In summing up the state of macroeconomics, they found this to be an “embarrassingly wide range of estimated multipliers.”

“Usually, the CBO is very careful when they apply the range of jobs created because they don’t really know for sure,” said Douglas Holtz-Eakin, former CBO director and president of the American Action Forum. “I think it says a lot about the confidence of the profession in their ability to provide these estimates. There’s simply no consensus about the size of multiplier effects in the best of circumstances, and for those that were introduced in the midst of a large financial crisis-induced recession, it’s even more uncertain.”

The CBO’s modeling represents the wide range and uncertainty surrounding the economic community. It’s also not simply a matter of splitting the difference between the best-case and worst-case scenario being represented. The range presented is so wide precisely because economists are genuinely unsure of their methods and projections. New York Times economics reporter Ed Glaeser discussed this in writing,

The fundamental problem with acquiring certainty about Keynesian intervention is that anti-recessionary spending is just not very amenable to clean, compelling empirical evaluation… And so we are left wading in ignorance. It is a great tragedy that the most important area of economic decision-making is also the area where we will always know the least.

Economics was famously coined as “the dismal science” – and while the CBO is a nonpartisan, trustworthy institution, its estimates nonetheless represent value judgments and certain assumptions. Their willingness to revisit those assumptions in the wake of a stimulus that has not followed the models for what was promised by the Obama Administration is admirable. “They should be applauded for going back and reviewing on the basis of new research and new evidence,” Holtz-Eakin said.

Neither party has a monopoly on economics, despite what Obama’s economists may have claimed during the stimulus debate, and what the president himself regularly implies. Republicans who argue that the stimulus had no effect at all on employment are likely just as wrong as the news media that takes the CBO’s high-end estimates as fact. It’s difficult to spend that much money and have absolutely no effect on employment, no matter how strong a crowd-out effect might occur. The important thing is that the CBO effectively admitted their critics were correct that they have been overly optimistic in their economic estimates of the stimulus. Conservatives should applaud.

“Half as effective as previously thought”???  And this new analysis comes what, only what, three years after it passed?

In anothe couple of years, it’s going to be regarded as only half as effective as it was before they realized that it was only half as effective as they’d thought.

It’s an unmitigated disaster.

Obama foolishly and wickedly gambled away everything this country had – and like his good pal and trusted advisor Jon Corzine did HE LOST OUR MONEY.

Barack Obama is the worst national disaster in American history.  He is the Antichrist’s useful idiot.  He may have already so crippled America that it will never be able to recover, and one more Obama term would certainly leave us guaranteed to collapse in the next ten years.

Coming To America Soon: ‘Anti-Austerity’ (I.E., Pro-Reckless-Government-Spending Liberals) Protests Turning Violent In Greece

June 23, 2011

I just want to make sure you understand that the violence in Greece is coming from LEFTWING SOCIALISTS.  Which is the same that will happen HERE soon.

Don’t ever forget that liberals are dangerous, bad, violent people.

These people spend societies into bankruptcy, and then they riot because there’s no more “other people’s money” to spend.

Hundreds of protesters clashed with riot police in central Athens Wednesday as a major anti-austerity rally degenerated into violence outside Parliament, where the struggling government was to seek support for new cutbacks to avoid a disastrous default.

Tear gas blanketed the capital’s main Syntagma Square, where more than 25,000 people had gathered to protest a new package of tax hikes and spending cuts through 2015.

A few hundred youths smashed the windows of a luxury hotel on the square, ripped up paving stones to throw at police and hurled firebombs at cordons of riot police. Demonstrators said at least 10 people were injured, and they appealed to fellow protesters to stay calm and allow ambulances through.

The protests are the epicenter of a crisis that could end in a disastrous default that would threaten the future of the eurozone and shake financial markets just as the global economy struggles to recover.

Wednesday’s violence adds public pressure on the government at a time when Prime Minister George Papandreou also faces a party rebellion from within his governing Socialists over the new austerity. One of his deputies defected Tuesday, reducing Papandreou’s parliamentary majority to five. Another Socialist lawmaker said he will vote against the bill, which is set for final approval by early next month.

But the new bill, worth euro28 billion ($40.5 billion) must be passed this month if Greece is to continue tapping its rescue loans.

The stakes are high and the results uncertain — if Greece is cut off from its rescue funding, it will default on its debts, likely setting off a financial chain reaction that experts have described as catastrophic.

In Athens, sporadic clashes on the fringes of the rally gradually spread, scattering those in the previously peaceful rally. Cafe tables and chairs lay overturned as trash bins burned. Heavy clouds of tear gas hung over Syntagma Square and side streets. The choking chemicals wafted as far as the presidential mansion behind Parliament, where Papandreou met with the country’s president, Karolos Papoulias, to brief him on the severity of the situation.

Papandreou later spoke by telephone with the heads of opposition parties to seek support for the austerity package. The EU has been pressing for cross-party support, but main opposition Conservative party leader Antonis Samaras has insisted the bailout agreement must be re-negotiated instead.

Police had set up a massive security operation to ensure protesters could not carry out a pledge to prevent lawmakers from accessing Parliament. Some 5,000 officers, including hundreds of riot and motorcycle police, used parked buses and crowd barriers to prevent protesters from encircling the building, while a large part of central Athens was closed to all traffic.

The protests in Athens and in the northern city of Thessaloniki, where another 20,000 people rallied peacefully, were part of a 24-hour general strike, the result of months of growing frustration over the country’s slide.

“A national effort is required. Because we are at a historically crucial moment and a time of crucial decisions,” Papandreou told Papoulias, according to a transcript of their conversation released by the prime minister’s office.

“But on the other hand, everyone has to assume their responsibilities,” he said. “In any case, we will move forward with this sense of responsibility and the necessary decisions” to pull Greece out of the crisis.

In Syntagma Square, however, the mood was defiant.

“Resign, resign,” the crowd chanted outside Parliament before the clashes. The protesters included both young and old, and many brought their children, hoisting them onto their shoulders to shield them from the crush.

The latest austerity drive has brought many people onto the streets for the first time.

“What can we do? We have to fight, for our children and for us,” said Dimitra Nteli, a nurse at a state hospital who was at the protest with her daughter.  “After 25 years of work I earn 1,100 euros a month. Now that will drop to 900.  How can we live on that?”

Her 26-year-old daughter, Christina, said the situation in Greece had led her to leave for Britain to study conflict resolution.

“I have no job here. There are no prospects,” she said.

Police spokesman Athanassios Kokalakis said about 20 protesters were briefly detained.

The general strike crippled public services across the country, leaving state hospitals running on emergency staff, disrupting port traffic and public transport.

The Socialists’ popularity plummeted in recent weeks over the new austerity plan. A weekend opinion poll gave the main opposition conservatives a four-point lead over their Socialist rivals, the first time the party has been ahead in surveys since 2009. The next general election is scheduled for October 2013.

With its credit rating deep in junk status, Greece is being kept afloat by the EU and IMF bailout, but will need additional support to cover financing gaps next year as high interest rates keep it out of the bond market, contrary to what the original bailout agreement had predicted.

On Monday, Standard & Poor’s slashed Greece’s rating from B to CCC, dropping it to the very bottom of the 131 states that have a sovereign debt rating. That suggests Greece’s creditors are less likely to get their money back than those of Pakistan, Ecuador or Jamaica. On Tuesday, the agency also cut its rating for four Greek banks to CCC from B.

We’ve already started seeing the violence that the American left is more than capable of.  We saw it build and unleash in Wisconsin and other states whose governors and state senates and assemblies were forced to deal with massive public pension boondoggles.

California alone has a $500 billion unfunded liability in public pension debt.  But of course California elected Jerry Brown and that black hole of debt will be papered over until it utterly explodes the way we’re seeing it explode in Greece.  Elsewhere, even Democrats are beginning to stare into the black holes the unionized left have created and gotten scared enough to start trying to do way too little, way too late.

Barack Obama often talks the language of a “fiscally responsible” president.  Of course, his brand of fertilizer doesn’t walk.  When Obama submitted his budget, it contained SO MUCH RIDICULOUS OUT-OF-CONTROL SPENDING THAT THE DEMOCRAT-CONTROLLED SENATE VOTED IT DOWN 97-0.

This is beyond insane, and Democrats are making it even MORE insane.  First, Democrats didn’t even BOTHER to pass a budget last year when they had the White House, The Senate AND the House of Representatives.  That was a shocking dereliction of their most fundamental duty as officeholders.  And they haven’t improved since; even as Democrats CONTINUE to demonize Republicans for trying to lead, they STILL have not bothered to pass any kind of a budget for this year (unlike House Republicans, who HAVE).

Barack Obama sold the stimulus – which will ultimately cost American taxpayers $3.27 TRILLION – with what we now know to have been a massive lie.  He claimed over and over again that it would fund “shovel-ready jobs” that would get Americans back to work and get the economy rolling again:

Now Obama is “joking” that “Shovel-ready was not as shovel-ready as we expected.”  Oops.  Sorry for that three and a quarter trillion dollars I pissed away and the three years of misery I caused.

Even Obama’s own chief-of-staff acknowledges that Obama’s policies are “indefensible.”

But Democrat crazy is the most corrosive kind of KoolAid of all.  Even as we now know for a DOCUMENTED FACT OF HISTORY that the stimulus utterly failed, we’ve got Harry Reid and the Democrats demanding MORE massive stimulus spending even as the CBO warns us of an economic meltdown if we don’t stop spending ourselves into collapse.

Allow me to explain a couple of rather important facts to you.  Number one, Democrats are responsible for virtually ALL of the unsustainable and reckless spending and policies that have led to our teetering on the edge of ruin and suffering unlike anything this nation has ever even had nightmares about, let alone experienced.  We are facing – and this according to a peer-reviewed IMF publication – $200 TRILLION in unfunded liabilities.  That should scare you into the fetal position if you have any intelligence whatsoever.  But it gets even worse than that; because liberal policies have contaminated the states, too.  Take California, which alone has $500 BILLION in unfunded public pension liabilities.

And yet here we are.  Republicans are trying desperately to cut spending before we collapse, and Democrats demonizing and fearmongering Republicans for pursuing sanity and demanding spending that will cause us to collapse all the faster.

I can’t say it any more plainly than this: if you vote Democrat, you are a truly EVIL human being.  Aside from your direct responsibility for the murder of 53 MILLION innocent human beings in America alone (and hundreds of millions more around the world), you are also going to be responsible for the unparalleled suffering of more than 300 million Americans when the crisis you first created and then refused to stop perpetuating comes crashing down all around us.

I know you are probably reacting like Cain and refusing to accept any responsibility for the horror you have done and continue to do, but one day you will find yourselves writhing in hell for the hell you helped bring about.  You can take that as a warning and get your priorities right before it’s too late or you can just take it as a prediction of where you’ll be spending the rest of eternity.
