Of The Political Leftist (And Godless) Spin On ‘Christians’ And The Recognition Of Jerusalem As Israel’s Capitol: Prepare to Be ‘Left Behind’

I’ve been real busy these past few weeks, frankly too busy to write blog articles.  Now here it is Christmas and my routine has come to a glorious pause.  But it’s fortuitous that my last article was on the status of Jerusalem and the wicked going batpoop over President Donald Trump doing what Bill Clinton and Barack Obama along with George W. Bush and basically the entire Congress including one hypocrite named Diane Feinstein all said they believed should be done.

So Obama on June 4, 2008 told the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) in his very first foreign policy speech after winning the Democratic Party nomination for president this:

“Let me be clear. Israel’s security is sacrosanct. It is non-negotiable.

“The Palestinians need a state that is contiguous and cohesive, and that allows them to prosper — but any agreement with the Palestinian people must preserve Israel’s identity as a Jewish state, with secure, recognised and defensible borders.

“Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided. I have no illusions that this will be easy.”

But history since amply proved that whenever Obama said the words, “Let me be clear,” that whatever came out of his mouth afterward would be an outrageous lie.

George Bush also spoke to AIPAC and he said:

“Something will happen when I’m president: as soon as I take office I will begin the process of moving the US ambassador to the city Israel has chosen as its capital.”

What about Bill Clinton?  Oh, yeah, he’s a liar and hypocrite too, who said one thing and then did another.  Might as well have said, “Let me be clear” the way Obama has done with his red line on Syria and so many other times when he was about to lie to the American people.

Bill Clinton declared in February 1992, at the height of the Democratic primaries, that he supported recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, a step that would alter U.S. policy.

Later, during the general election campaign, Clinton attacked President George H.W. Bush for having “repeatedly challenged Israel’s sovereignty over a united Jerusalem.” He promised that he and running mate Al Gore would “support Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Israel.”

And also as I detailed, just six months ago, Democrat Senators like U.S. Senator from uberleftist Californiastan voted to demand that the president recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capitol:

Exactly six months ago Tuesday, the senior senator from California voted in favor of a resolution commemorating the 50th anniversary of Israel’s reunification of Jerusalem, and calling on the president to “abide by” the provisions of the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Act.

That 1995 legislation said Jerusalem should be recognized as Israel’s capital, and required the president to move the embassy from Tel Aviv by May 31, 1999. Feinstein, the eighth-longest serving senator, voted in favor of it on Oct. 24, 1995.

So it’s not like Donald Trump did something unheard of, out of the blue.  He merely did what every single U.S. president and virtually ALL Of Congress have declared they were going to do.

But that’s, well, basically obvious and clear U.S. history for the past seventy years, since Harry S. Truman became the first world leader to officially recognize the state of Israel in 1948 when beyond miraculously, Israel defeated six nations that each dwarfed them in size, in population and in resources to fulfill what the Bible declared would happen in Ezekiel chapter 37:1-14 in the prophecy of the dry bones:

37 The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. ² He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. ³ He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”

I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.”

⁴ Then He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! ⁵ This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath^[a] enter you, and you will come to life. ⁶ I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”

⁷ So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. ⁸ I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.

⁹ Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” ¹⁰ So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.

¹¹ Then He said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’ ¹² Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. ¹³ Then you, My people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. ¹⁴ I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.’”

Now, somebody who doesn’t understand Scripture beyond their own pathetic theological system might try to explain this away by saying it was already fulfilled when Israel came back from Babylon.  Some problems with that: 1) the Jews don’t come back from Babylon in Ezekiel 37; they come from “the four winds.”  They come from the four corners of the planet, having been dispersed worldwide.  And 2) the next chapter, 38, gives us the enemy that this reborn from dried bones Israel would face: Gog of the land of Magog – i.e. every single linguistic analysis says this is modern-day RUSSIA – Persia, a.k.a. modern-day Iran and a host of nations that today are ALL Islamic.  So the Jews will come not from Babylon but from all over the earth and the enemy the reborn Israel will face will NOT be Babylon, but Russia and Iran leading a host of Islamic nations.  In point of fact, Babylon is not mentioned in the prophetic narrative of the last-days invasion of Israel at all.  Which is why Joel C. Rosenberg BEFORE the 9/11 attack wrote his novel, “The Last Jihad” in which terrorists from Iraq flew a plane into the World Trade Center: to get rid of Saddam Hussein.  Why?  Because Joel realized that Iraq (modern-day Babylon) was NOT in the host of nations that would attack Israel, and could not understand how a Saddam Hussein would not participate in such a war against Israel.  And so Rosenberg, simply believing the biblical account, took Saddam out.  And yes, what Rosenberg realized from prophecy came to pass because the Bible is the true, inspired word of a God who declares the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10).  Further, if anyone wants to foolishly argue that the prophecy of the dry bones of Israel coming back to life from the dried, desiccated dead was a past event with no present or future ramifications, another passage from Scripture prevails:

He has remembered His covenant forever, the word which He commanded to a thousand generations, the covenant which He made with Abraham, and His oath to Isaac.  Then He confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant, saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan As the portion of your inheritance.” – Psalm 105:8-11

The LORD God has remembered His covenant for how long?  FOREVER.  A thousand generations?  Well, keep in mind Jesus was born in Bethlehem only 50 generations ago, so I think we’re still good on the thousand thing.  And again, what kind of covenant is it?  Oh, it’s an EVERLASTING one.

So I pick up my Lost Angeles Slimes and read an article titled, “There’s a sharp split among Christians over Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital,” and spit out my coffee.  How can one human being be so full of crap as the author of this article or the editor who allowed it or the publisher of the paper who publishes fake news like this?

The article authoritatively asserts, “The key to understanding this rift is the evangelical belief in what is necessary to pave the way for the second coming of Jesus.”

No, you pathetically ignorant dumbass who clearly has no idea whatsoever what the hell you’re writing about.

Interestingly, as I will get to, that above quote in context says, “The divide between evangelicals and other Christian denominations reflects two views of Jerusalem — one traditional and political, the other literal and theological. The key to understanding this rift is the evangelical belief in what is necessary to pave the way for the second coming of Jesus. ”  I’ll get to the “traditional and political” versus the “literal and theological.”  But let me begin my attack on this stupid notion that evangelical Christians are trying to “pave the way for the second coming of Jesus.”

I don’t like to throw out my bona fides, but I’ve got not one but TWO masters degrees from basically THE most evangelical Christian university on the planet: BIOLA University’s Talbot School of Theology.  And I can assure you that evangelicals are in no way, no shape or no form attempting to “pave the way for the second coming of Jesus.”  No, that’s a branch of Islam, that is looking for the Twelfth Imam who will only appear if they bathe the world in blood to force his appearing.  They believe that “In order to save the world, it must be in a state of chaos and subjugation.”  And so they are trying to force the hand of destiny.  And that is NOT the project of Evangelical Christians.  The Los Angeles Times is doing nothing more than spreading propaganda and bigoted hate against evangelicals in making such preposterous claims.

As a testimony to that fact, simply scroll down my last article written on December 6 about Trump and Jerusalem, and see if I say ANYTHING about “the second coming.”  Because the fact of the matter is that I don’t say a single word about that.  Rather, I look to the PAST of what God declared in His eternal Word and I look at what is simply RIGHT.  I passionately believe in the Second Coming of Messiah Jesus, and I just as passionately believe the scriptures from both the Old and New Testaments that state that Jews WILL recognize the Messiah whom they pierced (Zechariah 12:10) and they will repent and believe just short of too late.  And in the Book of Revelation, again, we see Israel and Jerusalem and yes, even the TEMPLE which WILL be rebuilt.  We see 144,000 Jews from each of the Twelve Tribes of Israel coming like a host of Billy Grahams (Revelation 7:4 and Revelation 14:3); we see a divine rescue of Israel from the coming Antichrist (Revelation 12:13-17) as Jews take shelter in a place that is very likely Petra and be kept safe until Messiah – like the Good Shepherd protecting His flock – rescues them at the 2nd Coming.  So, certainly there is darned good reason I believe in the modern state of Israel as an amazing fulfillment of biblical prophecy and a key to the coming last days before the Rapture, the 2nd Coming and the Millennium.

But I’m not out to “pave the way.”  I’m an evangelical; which means I am standing for what is right against what is wrong, and I am standing for what the Word of the Living God declares.  And the Word of the Living God declares that yes, Jerusalem IS the capitol of Israel, always was and always will be particularly given the fact that God raised Israel from the dried bones of death after the nation had been dead and in the grave for very nearly 2,000 years (from A.D. 70 to 1948 and in fact 1967 when they miraculously retook Jerusalem).  I didn’t cause Israel to become a nation again and neither did evangelicals and neither did the United States or any other country or even Jews; GOD caused Israel to become a nation again beyond all hope.

Therein lies the issue with these supposed “Christians” who so ardently oppose what God declared was His will from the time of Abraham until now and forever for a thousand generations as an everlasting covenant.

And we just witnessed in the United Nations vote the other day the mindset that will be a fulfillment to Psalm 83:4, “Come,” they say, “let us destroy them as a nation, so that Israel’s name is remembered no more.”  This is the same wicked United Nations that has wickedly voted to condemn Israel more times than it has condemned all the rest of the nations of the world COMBINED.  And everyone who is on the side of the United Nations is in fulfillment of the Word of God on the side of the devil against the LORD God, the God of Israel.  And very frankly, if you are one of these people reading these words now, it is YOUR wickedness that is “paving the way” for the second coming of Jesus.  Because the Bible makes very clear that it is WICKEDNESS, not righteousness, that will cause Messiah Jesus to save the world that He created from destroying itself.  The Bible pits the works of the devil and those who are of their father, the devil (John 8:44), against the work of God: and it is in response to the works of the devil and those who are of their father the devil, rather than evangelicals “paving the way,” who will bring about the coming of the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Don’t you dare blame me LA Times, wicked unrepentant and unregenerate sinners, for “paving the way for the second coming of Jesus.”  Because that’s going to be on YOU.  As for me, I believe I’ll already be in heaven, having either been raptured or martyred, prior to the return of Jesus as King of kings and Lord of lords.  Prior to the events known as the Tribulation (right after the Church age described in Revelation chapters 1-3 in 4:1), the Bible describes a “Come up here!”) moment for Christians.  After which a coming political figure (Revelation 6) called the Antichrist or the beast rules over a world that most clearly does NOT want the LORD God of Israel, but rather secular humanism and socialism, to be their god, will worship this political tyrant and eventually take his mark on their right hand or forehead (Revelation 16:2).

The Bible tells us that there will be a great apostasy in the end times, a falling away, prior to the emergence of the man of lawlessness:

“Don’t be fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed–the one who brings destruction.” — 2 Thessalonians 2:3

St. Paul – after restating the clear message of the Bible that yes, there WILL be a third temple constructed where the world says over its dead body will there be a Jewish temple, and that the Antichrist will sit in the holy of holies and declare himself “God” when it is built, continues:

“And you know what is holding him back, for he can be revealed only when his time comes.  For this lawlessness is already at work secretly, and it will remain secret until the one who is holding it back steps out of the way.  Then the man of lawlessness will be revealed, but the Lord Jesus will kill him with the breath of His mouth and destroy him by the splendor of His coming.” — 2 Thessalonians 2:7-8

The ONLY thing holding Antichrist back is the Holy Spirit present in the true, believing Church.  But there will be a time when we will all be “caught up together” with Jesus to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).  It is this word “caught up” – harpazo in the Greek, rapturo in the Latin – that the word “rapture” comes from.  In the Rapture, Christ doesn’t come to earth, but rather WE who truly know Him and love Him will come to HIM in the air.  And there will be a moment where there are literally no true Christians living or dead on planet earth.  Those who have Christ in their hearts, the true Church that is restraining the true evil that will result in the spirit and the coming of Antichrist, will be taken away.

Jesus says to one of His faithful churches, the last church before the apostacizing church of Laodicea where Jesus is literally outside knocking trying to get in with the door shut in His face (Revelation 3:20), these words:  “Because you have kept the word of My perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upont he whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth” (Revelation 3:10).

Which is my cue to leave this earth as I’m caught up to meet the Lord in the air, and the cue of all of those who were faithful to the Word of God and who kept God’s word even when the world hated us because they hated Jesus first (John 15:18-19).

When Jesus says to the last generation of faithful Christians before the coming of the apostasy where most of the church totally falls away, “Because you have kept the word of My perseverance,” He isn’t referring to the “‘political and traditional’ “Christians.”  Oh, no, He is most definitely NOT.  You who are of the Laodicean age, of pseudo-Christians who are wedded to the ways of the wicked world, will be very, very surprised when true Christians are suddenly GONE and yes, in the plot of the famous Tim LaHaye novel series, you are “Left Behind.”  The LA Times article sets up the contrast very, very succinctly: there are those who are about “tradition and politics,” and there will be those who are about faithfully, literally following the Word of God as He revealed it.  We  didn’t abandon the Word of God when some feminist organization said that abortion was in and the sanctity of life was out; we didn’t abandon the Word of God when some opinion poll came out and said homosexuality was in and God-ordained marriage between one man and one woman was out of vogue.  We held to our conscience which was rooted in the Word of God, not godless secular humanism.

Tradition and politics.  Neither are very good things.  As for politics, that these people who oppose God’s Word and therefore oppose Jerusalem as God’s capitol of God’s people Israel hold so fast to, do you know what it is?  It is sticking your finger up to the latest public opinion survey and demagoguing at best the least of two evils.  And that’s politics at its BEST, because often they slant the truth and try to convince the people to vote for utopian lies that will never come true.  And yes, tradition. Jesus pointed out what He thought of tradition in Mark 7:8: “You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.”  As the NLT puts the same verse, “For you ignore God’s law and substitute your own tradition.”  Yeah, that works.  Jesus said, “you cancel the word of God for the sake of your own tradition” (Matthew 15:6).  That is EXACTLY what the left has not only done, but gloried in doing.  Colossians 2:8 says, “See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, which are based on human tradition and the spiritual forces of the world rather than on Christ.”  Everything the left and the Laodicean “Christian” loves is based on human philosophy and empty tradition in diametric opposition to the Gospel and the Word of God.

And the same is true of Israel and Jerusalem.  The Bible couldn’t be more clear who should have Jerusalem, but the world and the Laodicean church don’t give a flying damn what the Word of God declares, other than the fact that they are like the coming Antichrist wicked people who delight in moral godlessness and lawlessness and make up their own gods and their own laws as they impose their will and their way.

How did this pseudo-Christian garbage on Israel and Jerusalem begin?  It began in the 5th century AD through a man named Augustine.  Augustine read his Bible and it didn’t make any literal sense to him because any literal reading made it clear that Israel and Jerusalem the temple were part of the fundamental plan of God and there hadn’t been an Israel or a temple for over 400 years and it didn’t look like they were coming back.  Why, they were like dried up bones in the graveyard!!!  And so Augustine rewrote the understanding of the Bible, came up with his own damned theology, that was based not on the Word of God as it was literally revealed in literal, actual words, but rather in allegory and “spiritualization” and metaphor.  And so the Bible came to mean exactly what humans wanted it to mean, and it came to stand for exactly what humans wanted it to stand for.  The Word of God was no longer allowed to clearly and simply speak for itself; no, it required clever men with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense to explain it to the rest of us.

We see this in the Bible and we see the exact same people using the exact same crap on our Constitution.  What does the Constitution mean?  Certainly not what it says, but what liberals want it to mean as they impose their will on it and on society, all the while claiming to be the damn champions of the very thing they are most intent on perverting.  You take the 2nd Amendment as a very clear example: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”  Well, say the intellectuals – which is another word for “fool” these days – only a well-regulated militia is able to keep and bear arms, not the people.  Or the people are the militia and nothing else.  The only problem is that the Constitution very crystal-clearly says “THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.”  So on their own damn reading, let’s make sure that only militia people have the right to anything the 1st Amendment guarantees.  After all, it focuses on “the right of the people” and we know that only applies to people in militias, right?  In the same way, only militia members should be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures.  Because again, the 4th amendment declares it’s “the right of the people” to have these things.  And if morally idiotic liberals had any kind of moral consistency, they would apply this ONLY to people in well-regulated militias.  Liberals are indoctrinated into a tradition of lies and are therefore filled with lies and propagate lies in place of the truth.

When you read what the founding fathers themselves said about gun ownership and “the people,” it is compelling to anyone who is NOT a complete fool.  “The people” actually means “the people.”  Go figure.  The problem is, that in these last days, we have a gigantic surplus of complete fools.  And the 2nd Amendment properly understood was the founding fathers’ distrust of government and even democracy itself and a reaction against government- and mob-tyranny, such that we should in the United States of America have a government afraid of its people rather than a people afraid of their government.  Take Benjamin Franklin’s quotes.  He said, “Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!”  He said, “They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

I’m sorry, that’s just me reading something literally, you know, the way it is supposed to be read.  If I tell you the phone book is a cookbook for cannibals and that we all are supposed to dine on the bodies of liberals after slaughtering them like pigs, all I’m doing is reading the phone book a different way.  But the liberal judges have “penumbras and emanations” to guide them and to hell with the obvious, literal meaning.  As Thurgood Marshall once encapsulated liberal thinking, “you do what you think is right and let the law catch up.”  Because to be a liberal means to stand above the law, above the Constitution, and as we have seen above presidential elections.  And impose whatever the damn hell they want and feel pharisaically self-righteous about it the whole damn time they’re doing it.  We’re seeing that on our universities as even professors scream down free speech which they once hypocritically professed as sacred and as sacrosanct as a ruse to get their fascist way and then slam the door shut on everyone else.

Just so you understand the two sides, one is the ONLY democracy in the history of the entire Middle East; the other side has an official “pay to slay” policy that has been issuing incredibly generous benefits to the family members of terrorists who killed themselves in the act of murdering Jews.  Thank God, the Republicans just passed a bill to yank American taxpayer funds that have been used to murder Jews and even to murder US citizens.   Donald Trump has virtually destroyed the Islamic State that Obama was helpless to defeat in a matter of months.  But that victory doesn’t even MATTER to the left that was very frankly actually likely rooting for the terrorists to defeat Trump.  By and large, the media and the Democratic Party has despicably simply pretended there never was an “ISIS.”  And because Islam is at its heart a violent political ideology masquerading as a “religion of peace,” violence immediately erupted following Friday prayers as was expected.  If Islam WERE a religion of peace, imams would have calmed down the political passions of Muslims; instead they used the pretext of religion to inflame violence.  Would a genyine Christian pastor of any decent church declare “three days of rage” and send out a Christian flock to commit acts of violence if something were passed/decided that we didn’t like?  Would you go out with violence in your heart in the name of “the Prince of Peace”?  The news said, “Anger was the mood”  in this “three days of rage.”  Interesting reaction from “the religion of peace”!!!  And here we are, weeks later, witnessing the same rabid spirit of hate from the same “religion of peace.”

In the LA Times article, the focus is on the hate of the other side as the primary justification for why Trump was wrong.  And the hateful side that embraces violence as solution is right!!!

What does this say about the left when they keep doing this?  Not only with the Palestinians on Jerusalem – notwithstanding that they built their damn mosque RIGHT ON TOP of the temple and if Jews treated Arabs the same way Arabs treated Jews there wouldn’t be any Muslims – but think of the violent movement Occupy Wall Street which warped into the violent movement Black Lives Matter and so on with the embrace of the leftist media and the Democratic Party leadership.  Think of the liberal universities cancelling free speech because the side they hate wants to be allowed to exercise the right to free speech and their own side is wiling to use violence to prevent it.  Liberalism is believing that people should have the right to do what people ought not do.  Liberalism is siding with evil against good.

In point of fact, Trump declared that we have given the Palestinians fifty years to fairly negotiate peace, and all they have done is spill as much blood as possible.  Even today, they rabidly refuse to even acknowledge in their maps for their school children that there IS such a thing as “Israel.”  For Palestinians who teach terrorism to their children and financially reward the families of “martyred” terrorists who “nobly sacrificed their lives” to murder innocent victims with explosives in marketplaces and on public transportation, anyone who has a shred of decency in their hearts, let alone the Holy Spirit, clearly sees which side is on the right and which side has been wrong and in fact demonically evil for decades.

Jesus put it clearly, ye Laodicean “Christians” who are so rich in your liberal traditions and your liberal politics and who don’t honor God or His Word: prepare to be Left Behind when the rapture comes.

Obama Vs. Jesus And Which Messiah Is Turning Out To Be Right?

“Jesus replied, ‘Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many.  And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately.  Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in many parts of the world, as well as famines. But this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.  “When these things begin to happen, watch out! You will be handed over to the local councils and beaten in the synagogues. You will stand trial before governors and kings because you are My followers. But this will be your opportunity to tell them about Me.'”  — Mark 13:5-9

In this statement, Jesus predicted several things:  He said 1) “Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’  They will deceive many.”  2) You will hear of wars and rumors of wars…”  3) Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom.  4) There will be natural disasters and famines like we’ve never seen.  5)  And Christians will be handed over for official persecution by governments and by caliphates.

Jesus promised us that in the last days, many would come claiming to be Messiah.  How many of these would be elected president of the United States???

The actual historical evidence:

Quoting David Axelrod, Senior Advisor to Obama, the man who marketed Obama to the world, David Axelrod: “He is the living, breathing apotheosis of the American melting pot,” enthused David Axelrod, who privately coined a nickname for his boss: “Black Jesus.”

Newsweek editor Evan Thomas brought adulation over President Obama’s Cairo speech to a whole new level on Friday, declaring on MSNBC: “I mean in a way Obama’s standing above the country, above – above the world, he’s sort of God.”

Thomas, appearing on Hardball with Chris Matthews, was reacting to a preceding monologue in which Matthews praised Obama’s speech: “I think the President’s speech yesterday was the reason we Americans elected him. It was grand. It was positive. Hopeful…But what I liked about the President’s speech in Cairo was that it showed a complete humility…The question now is whether the President we elected and spoke for us so grandly yesterday can carry out the great vision he gave us and to the world.”

The mainstream media, Associated Press, Reuters, etc., REPEATEDLY and BRAZENLY deliberately continued this fabrication, depicting Obama with halo after halo after halo.  Have other candidates for president played this messianic trick?  Of course.  BUT NEVER LIKE THIS.  NEVER TO THIS DEGREE.

Did Obama manifest himself in such a blatantly messianic manner?  You betcha he did:

I still remember the temple that the Democrat Party built to welcome its god.  I still remember the Grecian columns in which this god walked among mortal man, I still recall the sick feeling as I watched the worshiping crowds adore him, praise him:

You Democrats are literally TEN TIMES MORE MURDEROUS than Adolf Hitler or the Nazis.  They murdered six million Jews in their death camps; YOU HAVE MURDERED SIXTY MILLION INNOCENT HUMAN BEINGS IN YOURS.  And the day is coming when you will pay for your wickedness when God’s wrath washes over you as no tsunami wave as ever washed over anyone and carries you screaming into the hell you so richly deserve for your murder and your spirit of depraved perversion and your fanatic and criminal abuse of genuine justice.

Ben Carson compared America today to the rise of the Nazis in the 1930s.  He’s been excoriated by the leftist media for that: they demand he retract his words so they can attack him for taking back what he said as much as they had attacked him for saying it in the first place.  Despite the obvious fact that truer words have never been spoken.

Jesus was right as He described the last days and how they would come about as false messiahs demagogued their way to power and paved the way for the ultimate Antichrist who would lead the world to literal hell on earth during a seven-year period in which God gave a wicked people over to the demonic leader they truly deserved.

And we have seen The Rise, as Democrats proclaimed, “There is no God but Government, and Obama is Its Prophet!”

St. Paul described “the descent of man” into depravity as they first replaced God with godless evolution, professed themselves as wise when they were in reality becoming utter fools, and ultimately would become so toxic and so vile that they would do something that no culture on earth had ever done and exalt the perversion of homosexual sodomy as “marriage”:

I was reading the Los Angeles Times this morning (Thursday, May 7, 2015) and here were the titles of the articles I saw as I looked through the main page:

Page A6: “Saudi-led airstrikes kill scores in Yemen”

Page A8 “NATO not taking threats lightly”

Page A9: “Saber-rattling signals NATO resolve.”

Of that last story, the truth is as amazing as it is terrifying.  The New York Times reports the following:

The onslaught of recruitment propaganda has multiplied the number of online enthusiasts for the Islamic State in the United States, giving counterterrorism investigators the difficult task of deciding which are simply fantasizing in public and which might be planning violence.

“The ISIS guys are talking to these wannabes on Twitter all day long,” a senior law enforcement official said. “It’s like the devil is sitting on their shoulder saying, ‘Come on, they’re insulting the prophet, what are you going to do about it?’ ”

The official, who would speak about the continuing investigation only on condition of anonymity, said that although Mr. Simpson had long been under F.B.I. scrutiny, he had not appeared to be preparing for violence. “There are so many like him that you have to prioritize your investigations,” the official said.

The brief statement from the Islamic State did not claim that it had ordered the Texas attack, though it called the gunmen, Mr. Simpson, 30, and Nadir Hamid Soofi, 34, “two soldiers from the soldiers of the caliphate.”

The statement expressed hope that the men, who had been living in Phoenix, would be granted “the highest rank of paradise” and threatened that future action against the perceived enemies of Islam would be “worse and more bitter,” according to a translation by the Site Intelligence Group, which tracks extremist statements.

Those words, “There are so many like him” ought to chill your blood.  Because of Obama’s monumental failure to do anything other than be a lying, slandering, deceiving demagogue rather than an actual leader, our system to deal with violence and terrorism and war is fundamentally and profoundly breaking down.  The New York Times describes “Mr. Simpson, a convert to Islam with a long history of extremism.”  The man had been tracked by authorities for years.  But our liberal-dominated courts have made the system powerless to stop the avalanche of these murderers.  The FBI is overwhelmed.

What did our imposter messiah say in front of the FACT that last year was THE deadliest year for terrorism EVER?

Militant Islam is rising.  It is inevitable.  And it is inevitable because the world and its leaders today are dominated by the abject moral cowardice of Barack Hussein Obama to confront reality when false narratives sound so much better to our itching years.  Obama has proven utterly irrelevant to the world as Islamic State was born and grew powerful and rose to burn people alive right in front of our faces all because of his abject failed policies and his non-stop blathering uselessness.

If you’re pro-Christian, you can buy a Christian organ, you know, like a liver or heart or kidney of a Christian murder victim as Islamic State uses every means to finance their metastic spread.

It took Obama months beyond laughable to even so much as ACKNOWLEDGE that Christians were victims of these monsters as he enables them day after day, week after week, month after month.

Unmentioned are many other recent stories like this one about China creating artificial island after artificial island as they grab territory that has never been theirs (you know, just like Russia is defiantly doing).  The US military is watching helplessly while it goes from “late” to “too late” to stop or deal with:

U.S. officials have watched with alarm since China began its landfill operations in the South China Sea last year, creating artificial islands with astonishing speed.

Commercial satellite images show extensive landfill and construction on at least seven previously submerged reefs or atolls in the Spratly Islands group, located west of the Philippines.

Some of the new islands include runways that can accommodate China’s biggest military aircraft, along with port facilities and dozens of multistory buildings, according to the Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative, a research project sponsored by the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a Washington think tank.

“China is creating a ‘Great Wall of Sand’ with dredges and bulldozers,” Adm. Harry Harris, commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet, warned in a speech in Australia on April 1. Harris said that raises “serious questions about Chinese intentions.”

We can watch Obama’s epic fail as a leader in slow, agonizing motion as Obama allows Iran to seize U.S.-flagged ships in what is clearly an act of war, as Iran violates the citizenship of Americans and arrests them one after another on trumped-up charges, as Iran spreads terror all over the world, as Iran having nearly achieved complete hegemony in the Middle East is now expanding to Latin America.  as Iran calls for death to America.  While Obama says, “We trust you!  We are willing to compromise and cooperate and negotiate with every dictator and murderer and thug and anyone who isn’t a Republican! I will GIVE you nuclear weapons!  Only PLEASE wait until I’m out of office!”

All Iran needs is time to build or buy ballistic missile technology to launch their nuclear warheads that even according to Obama they are 2-3 months away from and could clearly easily have at any moment they want them.  Obama knew that truth for YEARS but lied and lied and lied to the American people as he rabidly pursued a deal with THE most untrustworthy regime on planet earth.

It has been a known, documented fact for at least a YEAR that Iran has been pursuing the ballistic missile technology necessary and ONLY necessary to launch their soon-to-be nuclear warheads.  But what they hey?

Iran is showing us in color their intention as they wargame their nuclear attack against Israel.

The Word of God assured us more than 2,600 years ago that one day, in the last days, Russian and Iran would lead a confederacy of nations that are coincidentally today ALL Islamic nutjob states in a war of extermination against the state of Israel.  And that the world would sit idly by and act just like Obama is doing now and do NOTHING but blather useless words according to Ezekiel 38:13.

The world will one day soon be bathed in blood as we see wars ignite the likes the human race has never seen.  And it is all gathering right now.

At a point in time when population experts pegged the total world population at 183 million, St. John in the Book of Revelation prophesied the very region that could pull off such an army – “the kings of the east” – sending a demonic army of 200 million men across what has throughout history been the historically impassable Euphrates River toward their destiny of Armageddon.

Jesus said 3) “Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.”

Well, I just wrote about that.  The word Jesus uses translated as “nation” is “ethnos.”  “Nation will rise against nation” is more accurately, “Ethnic group will rise against ethnic group.”  Or Race will rise against race.

And we’re seeing hot, flaming race rising against race all over America.  And the polls document the fact that Americans overwhelmingly – to the tune of 96 percent – believe it will get worse and that it will happen in their own cities and towns.

Jesus declared 4) “There will be earthquakes in many parts of the world, as well as famines. But this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.”

Natural disasters, anyone?  We have them in abundance like we have never before seen.  We have a crippling historic drought in my state of California that is growing more and more terrible while we have floods elsewhere to fulfill what God declared would happen to a nation that abandoned Him: “I kept the rain from falling when your crops needed it the most. I sent rain on one town but withheld it from another. Rain fell on one field, while another field withered away” (Amos 4:7).  Earthquakes?  The world is watching Nepal reel from the recent aftermath of one as we speak, with thousands dead.

I know how godless man reasons, because the Bible tells me: “They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation” (2 Peter 3:4).  But I’ve been pointing out that these same godless people ignorantly declare the truth of God’s Word everyday as they exploit every phenomena as “global warming” or “climate change” when it is just one more part of what our LORD told us would happen as we reached the end of days before divine judgment plunged the world into living hell.

And Jesus promised believers 5) “watch out! You will be handed over to the local councils and beaten in the synagogues. You will stand trial before governors and kings because you are My followers.”  And we are watching it happen all over the world as Islamic State leads planet earth in the slaughter of Christians, as more Christians have been martyred these last few years than in all of history combined, as the Obama system of “justice” persecutes and punishes and terrorizes Christians for taking a stand against the sodomy of marriage and says that as Christian bakers they won’t bake cakes for gay weddings and as Christian wedding photographers they won’t depict the perversion of God-ordained marriage and as Christian pizza restaurateurs they won’t allow their property be used to celebrate homosexual perversion of marriage that has always throughout all of history been the union of one man and one woman.

The beast is coming.  War like we have never even had nightmares of before is coming.  And we’re watching it metastasize right now under Obama.

Why I’m Done Watching Professional Sports. Period.

I’m through.

Back in 2009 I said I was through with the NFL after it basically said that forcing dogs to fight each other in bloody matches and then viciously killing the ones that weren’t vicious enough was fine.  And the only unpardonable sin in their eyes was being a political conservative.  And I’ve made good on my word; the only football I’ve watched since has been college.

And, of course, I still had my basketball and my hockey, right?

Well, wrong as of recently.

First the NHL all but bent over so the first openly gay hockey player could sodomize the whole league.  And then we had our first male openly homosexual player celebrated for issuing a statement that he likes it in the rear.

Me, I just wanted to watch sports.  I didn’t want to get lectured about accepting, embracing and celebrating homosexuality.

I looked in vain through the rule books of all the major sports.  There was NOTHING about that garbage in any of them.

But boy – as in “gay boys in bondage” – have professional sports ever changed since I was a kid.

My first thought when Jason Collins “came out” was that at least he didn’t play for any of the teams I root for (I couldn’t care less about the Washington Wizards and I utterly despise the Boston Celtics).  But Kobe Bryant blew that up.  The man who most represents the heart and the soul of the Los Angeles Lakers – my favorite team since Jerry West was a guard rather than the NBA logo – tweeted the following:

Does God know He’s “ignorant”???

I suppose I’m supposed to forget that Bryant was once accused of rape.  I suppose that I’m supposed to forget that he cheated on his wife and that he revealed his own latent homosexuality by sodomizing the woman he cheated on his wife with.  And having forgotten all that I’m supposed to regard Kobe Bryant as a moral authority.

I mean, if the perp says I’m ignorant, then I’m clearly ignorant.

I wonder if Tiger Woods – whose behavior was recently endorsed by President Obama – has offered his own support of Collins’ homosexuality?  You KNOW if he hasn’t the only reason is because his publicist advised him to stay on the down-low on this one.

Professional sports is now like Nazi Germany – the first culture to warp sports into depraved political statements celebrating warped ideologies – you just can’t get away from the crap they’re pimping.

It’s kind of funny, if by “funny” you mean “twisted and warped”; a couple of years ago sports writers were questioning Tim Tebow and asking the question for our consideration:  “Should Tebow be so flamboyant about his faith? Should Americans keep their religious beliefs to themselves?”

CHRISTIANS are “flamboyant”???  Seriously?  I mean, dang, if you even like to SAY the word “flamboyant” there’s a pretty good chance you’re a homosexual.

And in today’s culture, it is a no-no to talk about your Christian faith.  You should keep embarrasing junk like that to yourself.  But if you want to come out and tell the world you love to be sodomized by another man after sucking his weenie for him first, well, expect a call from the president of the United States congratulating you.  And expect to be praised and celebrated by pretty much anybody who is anybody in today’s depraved culture.

I’m done with sports.

I saw an article in the Los Angeles Times that like most Los Angeles Times articles was so full of crap the paper ought to just be printed on dung.  The print version title was “2 views of gay NBA player.”

Make it ONE view that homosexuality is just neat and one utter mischaracterization of the despised view that it’s even possible there could be anything wrong with it.

Anyway, the two quotes from this piece of propaganda gibberish representing the “two views” are as follows:

“We have a lot less tolerance for people who make reactionary statements like Mr. Broussard,” Hilliard said, referring to ESPN television commentator Chris Broussard, who said Monday that, because of his religious beliefs, he did not condone homosexuality.

And let’s not omit the “Christian” view (at least “Christian” according to the Los Angeles Times:

All but one player agreed. “I’m a Christian,” said 17-year-old Jordan Bryant. “But I also feel that God created you to be what you can be. If He created you with an intent to like another male, then that is what you were created to be.”

Well, let’s first think about what Hilliard said.  If you have religious beliefs that in any way prevent you from celebrating sodomy, you are making “reactionary statements.”

Since when?  You know, given the fact that there was not ONE SINGLE CIVILIZATION IN ALL OF HUMAN HISTORY that embraced homosexuality.  You know, given the entirety of Western Civilization, upon which our own culture comes from, which specifically CONDEMNS homosexuality.  And, you know, given the thousands of years of Judeo-Christian tradition that our society is similarly based upon.

When did it become cool to describe Moses and St. Paul as “reactionary”???

How did the militant homosexual agenda that has been gaining ground for something like the last twenty years suddenly erase all previous human history???

And how did the militant homosexual agenda somehow sneak past even the Darwinian evolutionary view that homosexuality represents a complete dead-end for any species which embraces it???

It is frankly amazing.

And now let me turn to the words of this idiot named Jordan Bryant who has the moral idiocy to say “I’m a Christian” followed by a sentiment that comes right out of the place that God famously vaporized for wickedness.

When did what the Bible clearly and emphatically states become irrelevant to “Christianity”???

Leviticus 18:22 – “Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.”

Leviticus 20:13 – “If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.”

Romans 1:26-27 – “Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.”

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 – “Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”

Famed pastor John MacArthur has publicly declared that Romans chapter one is the official platform of the Democratic Party.  But just to make sure there is no place one can go to get away from it, it is also the official platform of most newspapers, most TV stations, Hollywood, and now all the professional sports leagues.

I’m going to be – in Kobe Bryant’s words – “ignorant” on this subject.  I’m going to side with God and let the rest of culture be damned.

What is the saddest thing of all is that most people who call themselves “Christians” are nearly as ignorant – and they truly ARE “ignorant” – as that 17-year-old Jordan Bryant idiot.  The Bible tells us NOT to participate in the world, the flesh and the devil.  But we’ve dived in and immersed ourselves in it.

We ought to be BOYCOTTING it.

Instead, the only ones who do any actual boycotting are the left who boycott anything that DOESN’T represent the world, the flesh and the devil.

As for me, I am done watching professional sports. ALL of them.

This is the culture just before the coming of the beast.  Soon, the world will be worshiping him and accepting his mark on their right hands or on their foreheads.

And I’ll be in heaven with my “ignorant” Savior watching the world descend into literal hell on earth before the REAL hell comes upon them.

Pentagon: Religious Proselytizing is Not Permitted

Religious liberty groups have grave concerns after they learned the Pentagon is vetting its guide on religious tolerance with a group that compared Christian evangelism to “rape” and advocated that military personnel who proselytize should be court martialed.

The Military Religious Freedom Foundation is calling on the Air Force to enforce a regulation that they believe calls for the court martial of any service member caught proselytizing.

President Mikey Weinstein and others from his organization met privately with Pentagon officials on April 23. He said U.S. troops who proselytize are guilty of sedition and treason and should be punished – by the hundreds if necessary – to stave off what he called a “tidal wave of fundamentalists.”

“Someone needs to be punished for this,” Weinstein told Fox News. “Until the Air Force or Army or Navy or Marine Corps punishes a member of the military for unconstitutional religious proselytizing and oppression, we will never have the ability to stop this horrible, horrendous, dehumanizing behavior.”

Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, told Fox News he was stunned that the Pentagon would be taking counsel and advice from the Military Religious Freedom Foundation.

“Why would military leadership be meeting with one of the most rabid atheists in America to discuss religious freedom in the military,” Perkins said. “That’s like consulting with China on how to improve human rights.”

The FRC has launched a petition drive urging Defense Sec. Chuck Hagel to protect the religious freedom of troops “and not to proceed with the purge of religion within the ranks called for by anti-Christian activists.”

Pentagon officials met with Weinstein and his group were to discuss a policy called “Air Force Culture, Air Force Standards,” published on Aug. 7, 2012.

Section 2.11 requires “government neutrality regarding religion.”

“Leaders at all levels must balance constitutional protections for an individual’s free exercise of religion or other personal beliefs and the constitutional prohibition against governmental establishment of religion,” the regulation states.

Military leaders were admonished not to use their position to “promote their personal religious beliefs to their subordinates or to extend preferential treatment for any religion.”

Weinstein said it’s time for the Air Force to enforce the regulation – with zeal.

“If a member of the military is proselytizing in a manner that violates the law, well then of course they can be prosecuted,” he said. “We would love to see hundreds of prosecutions to stop this outrage of fundamentalist religious persecution.”

He compared the act of proselytizing to rape.

“It is a version of being spiritually raped and you are being spiritually raped by fundamentalist Christian religious predators,” he told Fox News.

He said there is a time and a place for those in uniform to share their faith – but he took issues with fundamentalism that he says is causing widespread problems in the military.

“When those people are in uniform and they believe there is no time, place or manner in which they can be restricted from proselytizing, they are creating tyranny, oppression, degradation, humiliation and horrible, horrible pain upon members of the military,” he said.

Perkins said the military regulations have “Weinstein’s fingerprints all over it.”

“It threatens to treat service members caught witnessing as enemies of the state,” he said, referring to a Washington Post article highlighting Weinstein’s meeting with Pentagon officials. “Non-compliance, the Pentagon suggests, even from ordained chaplains could result in court-martialing on a case-by-case basis.”

The Pentagon confirmed to Fox News that Christian evangelism is against regulations.

“Religious proselytization is not permitted within the Department of Defense, LCDR Nate Christensen said in a written statement. He declined to say if any chaplains or service members had been prosecuted for such an offense.

“Court martials and non-judicial punishments are decided on a case-by-case basis and it would be inappropriate to speculate on the outcome in specific cases,” he said.

Ron Crews, the executive director of the Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty, warns that the Air Force policy would “significantly impact the religious liberties of Air Force personnel.”

“Saying that a service member cannot speak of his faith is like telling a service member he cannot talk about his spouse or children,” Crews said. “I do not think the Air Force wants to ban personnel from protected religious speech, and I certainly hope that it is willing to listen to the numerous individuals and groups who protect military religious liberty without demonizing service members.”

In an interview with the Washington Post, Weinstein called proselytizing a “national security threat.”

“And what the Pentagon needs to understand is that it is sedition and treason,” he told the newspaper. “It should be punished.”

Perkins said it was troubling the Obama Administration would place so much trust in someone like Weinstein.

“Unfortunately, it appears our military is on a forced march away from the very freedoms they are sworn to protect,” he said. “This language from Weinstein that Christians who share their faith or offer comfort to others from their faith in Jesus Christ is “sedition and treason” is a treasonous statement in and of itself.”

But Weinstein said they count thousands of Protestants among their ranks – and said they are simply going after fundamentalists.

“As soon as we find a fundamentalist Muslim, atheist, Jewish person or anybody else, we will be happy to fight them – but so far they have been few and far between,” he said.

Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Jerry Boykin, an executive vice president with the Family Research Council, told Fox News that he’s deeply concerned by what he call a pattern of attacks on Christianity within the military.

“Mickey Weinstein has a very visceral hated of Christianity and those who are Christians,” he said. “He’d like to see it eliminated from the military entirely.”

If the Air Force policy is implemented, Boykin said Christians who speak of their faith “could now be prosecuted as enemies of the state.”

“This has the potential to destroy military recruiting across the services as Americans realize that their faith will be suppressed by joining the military,” Boykin said.

In the meantime, Weinstein and his group said they will continue to push for the Pentagon to fully implement its ban on proselytizing.

“There is a time, place and manner in which proselytizing is not only allowed, but it’s something we support among our Christian clients,” Weinstein said. “However, you can’t scream fire in a crowded theater and you can’t scream Jesus in a crowded theater at certain times, places, and in certain manners.”

As we speak, a Christian was just sentenced to death in Iran.  His crime?  Being a Christian.  Which of course makes rabid atheists like Weinstein happy.  He wants Iran to come to America and do unto the Christians as Iran is doing unto them.  Apparently Obama agrees.

Just today, we’ve got a Christian in North Korea being sentenced to fifteen years of hard labor.  What was his crime?  Being a Christian.  And the vicious communist monsters in North Korea view being a Christian exactly the same way that Weinstein views them: as seditious traitors.

We’ve seen the kinds of places that Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, and numerous other atheists yearn for: they’re called “re-education camps,” and they come only from officially state atheist societies:

State atheism has been defined as the official “promotion of atheism” by a government, typically by active suppression of religious freedom and practice.^[1]

State promotion of atheism as a public norm was first practised during a brief period in Revolutionary France. Only communist states and socialist states have done so since.

And it is no coincidence that these communist officially state atheist societies have murdered more human beings during peacetime than have been killed in all the wars in history.

Or take the Nazis. Please, as they say.

So now it is an official crime against the state to say the name of Jesus?

State atheists like Weinstein are guilty of murdering more than 100 million of their own people.  During peacetime.  I’d call THAT “horrible, horrendous, dehumanizing behavior.”  But atheists like Mikey Weinstein would just call it another day at the office.

Atheist Mao murdered 45 million people in just four years – again during PEACETIME.  Atheist Joseph Stalin signed mass death warrants late into the night and murdered tens of millions – during peacetime.

Obama Apologizes For Evil America Burning Terrorist Korans; Nobody Need Apologize For Two Murdered American Soldiers

Obama began his presidency with an apology tour to the Muslim world.  And then he never quit.  And it’s frankly stunning what crap has come out of his mouth while he was groveling before his Muslim masters.  You know, when is isn’t just plain bowing down to them:

Obama apologized to Afghan President Hamid Karzai for vile, wicked, despicable America again (America is the most evil country on earth and we’ve got the president to prove it).  There was no need for anyone to apologize for our two murdered soldiers killed by an Afghan soldier.  Clearly, they deserved to die to pay for America’s crimes.

Hamid Karzai, whose country was proven righteous by the fact that America already admitted it was the villain in this moral play, is demanding that the soldiers who had anything to do with the Koran burning be put on trial.  He should get his way: after all, given how guilty we are and all, it seems that two murdered Americans is hardly enough to pay for our crime.

It makes me sick inside to think of “my” president calling the president of Afghanistan to apologize for the destruction of some books when the soldiers of that same president of Afghanistan murdered American troops in cold blood.

Newt Gingrich brought this “apology crap” to light:

Gingrich was the first Republican White House hopeful to criticize the president for apologizing after Muslim holy books containing extremist language were burned by NATO soldiers.

Gingrich told a crowd in Spokane, Washington: “President Obama surrendered twice today and I think that deserves to be brought to the country’s attention.”

He continued, “The president apologized for the burning, but I haven’t seen the president demand that the government of Afghanistan apologize for the killing of two young Americans.”

Gingrich was referring to two American troops who were killed in Afghanistan Thursday. The troops were killed by a person wearing an Afghan National Army uniform, according to a U.S. official.

For the record, the Korans in question were ones that captured terrorists had been using to exchange messages to one another.  After the terrorists got through scrawling messages in them, the Korans were full of even more vicious hate than they already were in the first place.  What the hell else were we supposed to do with them???  Maybe give them to Obama for his personal library???

Meanwhile, Obama can go on apologizing to the Muslim world for how “intolerant” America is.  It’s very clearly okay for Muslim countries to execute people for daring to become Christians and it’s very clearly okay for Muslim countries to firebomb Christian schools.

Allow me to conclude by saying a little bit about the Muslim world going literally nuts because a Koran or two got burned.

Really?

I believe that the Holy Bible is the literal Word of God; I also recognize that the Bible I hold in my hand is just a book made out of paper.  If you destroy my Bible, I can go buy a new one.  And the printing press that will be used to print that Bible didn’t descend from heaven.

As a caveat to what the military did, terrorists had ALREADY defiled the Korans by writing in them in their own hand; and something that has already been defiled isn’t very “sacred” any more.  And an apt analogy is an American flag: those who love it will burn it if it touches the ground.

This is nothing more but an example of the fact that Islam represents a deeply flawed seventh century view of the world.

That said, I can’t help but think of Barack Obama respecting the Muslim world for their deeply flawed theology and apologizing – EVEN AFTER MUSLIMS MURDERED TWO SOLDIERS UNDER HIS COMMAND – but pissing on Catholic theology that is every bit as ancient.  Because Obama demonstrated outright naked contempt for Catholic theology regarding birth control, abortion causing drugs and sterilization just damned a week ago.  That abject hypocrisy on the part of a self-righteous weasel like Obama leaves me absolutely furious.

Even when Obama is “respecting religion,” he is incredibly disrespectful in deciding that homicidal Islam must be “respected” but peaceful Catholocism is something to be despised.

I’d actually like to apologize to the world for our president of “God damn America.”

And by now even Muslims know that Barack Obama is nothing but an untrustworthy rat bastard little weasel.

Liberal Rabbi Continues Secular Humanist Hatred For All Things Christian And Tim Tebow

Rabbi Joshua Hammerman, in tooting his own horn as loudly as he knows how, boasts that he is the winner of the Rockover Award (which just so happens to be “the highest honor in Jewish journalism,” by the way).  And his columb appears regularly in New York Jewish Week.

Here is his latest and greatest wise musing:

“If Tebow wins the Super Bowl, against all odds, it will buoy his faithful, and emboldened faithful can do insane things, like burning mosques, bashing gays and indiscriminately banishing immigrants. While America has become more inclusive since Jerry Falwell’s first political forays, a Tebow triumph could set those efforts back considerably.”

I mean, you could literally sing those lyrics to the tune, “If Hitler hadn’t killed six million Jews, the world would have been a much worse place.”

Interestingly, our Rabbi is a coward.  He delected those words from his blog, oh, much the way the Daily Kos deleted from its site allegations that Sarah Palin was faking her pregnancy with son Trig because the baby was really Brittany’s by incestuous relationship with her father (and Sarah’s husband).

The hatemongering continued until it was revealed that Bristol was herself pregnant – and that it was therefore biologically impossible that she could have been pregnant with Trig.  At which time the Daily Kos purged their site.  They didn’t apologize, they just slunk away like the despicable and vile cowards that they have always been.

When the going gets tough, you can always trust liberals to change their story.  Unless they can delete it and claim they never said it to begin with.

You would think of ALL people, Jews would have learned the lesson about such hateful demonization.

You would also think that a rabbi who says that Christians are so damn intolerant and hateful would think about how hypocritical he was being when he made such a despicable statement.  He literally singles Tim Tebow out – whom I’m willing to bet has never said a hateful thing about Jews or about burning mosques in his life – and attributes fanatical and deragened hate to him and to those who root for him.

But not this Jew.  And not most liberal Jews for that matter – who continue to vote for Democrats and vote for the most profoundly anti-Israel president in American history.

Understand, this attack against Tim Tebow and the Christianity said Tim Tebow believes in is just another in a long series of leftist attacks.

Now, understand, I am a fierce supporter of Israel.  Which is to say that I am FAR more pro-Israel than most American Jews (for the record, there are all KINDS of American liberal Jews who regard Israel and their fellow Jews who live there with naked contempt).  For too many liberal American Jews, the subject of “the Jewish state” is met with embarassed silence.  And liberal Democrat Jews continue to believe that liberal Jews don’t much care about Israel.  Hopefully that is changing as more American Jews understand that Barack Obama represents an existential threat to Israel that is frankly worse than the threat of Iran (and that because it frankly doesn’t matter who their enemies are if America remains her steadfast friend).

Norman Podhoretz writes a thoroughly-researched book in which we find him “maintaining that Democratic attitudes toward Israel range from unsympathetic to passionately hostile while the Republicans, with some exceptions, have been solidly to fervently supportive since the end of the 1967 Six-Day War.”

A review of Podhoretz’s book, “Why Jews Are Liberals” has this to say:

Yet, in terms of Israel support, there were reasons to think 2008 would be a good year for the GOP. John McCain’s long history of sympathy with Israel should have given him an advantage over Barack Hussein Obama, whose history consisted of associating with enemies of the Jewish state like the unapologetic bigot Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

Nevertheless, proving Pod’s assertion that Statist “Jews” have not cared about Israel/Judaism for decades, Obama beat Mr. McCain among Jewish voters by roughly a 70-30 ratio. Obama did far better with Jews than with any other ethnic/religious group, sans blacks, and Podhorertz relays some stats:

The Jewish vote for him was 25 points higher than the 53% he scored with the electorate as a whole; 35 points higher than the 43% he scored with whites; 11 points higher than the 67% he scored with Hispanics; 33 points higher than the 45% he scored with Protestants; and 24 points higher than the 54% he scored with Catholics.

In his closing paragraphs, Podhoretz clarifies a final time:

“The social, political and moral system that liberals wish to transform is the very system in and through which Jews found a home such as they had never discovered in all their forced wanderings tyhroughout the centuries over the face of the earth.”

We fundamentalist Christians – unlike liberal Jews – stand strongly besides Israel and we vow to stand WITH Israel.  Even to our own hurt.  And the interesting thing is that this uberliberal rabbi implicitly affirms that.  It’s not Jews that we’re going to target if Tebot wins the Super Bowl; no sir, we’re going to burn down all the mosques and target every single immigrant BUT Jews.

At suppose that’s an improvement from this hypocrite hater; he could have accused us of hating on Jews, too.

I use the term “Judeo-Christian” to understand my faith.  I believe that Messiah Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament and said that every jot and tittle of it would ultimately be fulfilled.  That means that there is a place for Jews and a place for national Israel in God’s kingdom.  And with my fellow evangelical Christians, I eagerly wait to see that day when God brings all of His people together.  And I continue to stand up in vocal support of the state of Israel and call for America to defend God’s chosen people against her mortal enemies until that blessed day the prophets anticipated comes to pass.

That faith is far stronger than Rabbi Joshua Hammerman’s hate and bigotry.  So my attitude toward Israel and toward faithful Jews does not change so much as a single degree.

Jesus, The Glorious Conqueror Of Death, Also Conquered Circular Reasoning And Pseudo-History

I wrote an article on “liberal religion,” and how said religion was utterly empty of any meaning.  And pointed out that the total lack of liberalism to stand for anything outside of itself was the reason it is going the way of the Dodo bird.  And why militant Islam is growing in the void created by the emptiness of Western secular humanism.

Somone responded to that article by sneering:

“The only true religion is the Napkin Religion. It says so right here on this napkin.”

Sound like anyone you know?

Obviously this is a rather pathetic way of accusing me of circular reasoning.  The claim is being made, however poorly, that I believe the Bible because the Bible tells me to believe the Bible.

Aside from St Peter’s words –

“Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.”  For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water.  But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men” (2 Peter 3:3-7)

Actually it doesn’t.

We know more about Jesus’ death than virtually anyone else in humany history. And history has had this record to contemplate  for 2,000 years.

As a result of something amazing that happened, Jesus’ disciples went from cowardly men who only wanted to hide to bold proclaimers that they had seen Him alive even at the direct risk to their own lives. These one-time cowards then proceeded to go all over the known world, with all but one dying as martyrs testifying that Jesus was the glorious living Savior just as Jesus Himself had proclaimed Himself to be.

Look into the “Lord, Liar or Lunatic” argument. Was Jesus a cynical liar from hell? Or was Jesus mentally deranged? Or was He whom He said He was? Lord and God? It is a FACT that Jesus gave the most sublime moral teaching the world has evern heard. Even Gandhi would testify to this truth about Christ:

In the cross of Christ, Gandhi found the supreme example of satyagraha: Christ was the ‘Prince of satyagrahis’. “It was the New Testament”, wrote Gandhi [on page 92 of his autobiography], which really awakened me to the value of passive resistance. When I read in the Sermon on the Mount such passages such as, ‘Resist not him that is evil: he who smiteth thee on thy right cheek turn to him the other also, and love your enemies, pray for them that persecute you, that ye may be the sons of your Father which is in heaven’, I was overjoyed.”

Do you believe that the greatest moral teaching ever heard in this world came from a demonic liar or a deranged lunatic? I don’t.

Another question: given that the disciples of Jesus were in a unique position to KNOW FOR CERTAIN that Jesus was who He claimed, and that He truly rose from the dead; and given that they basically all died testifying to His Resurrection, let me ask you this: how many people do you know who would WILLINGLY DIE FOR SOMETHING YOU KNEW FOR CERTAIN WAS A COMPLETE LIE???

Muslim terrorists die for lies that they sincerely believe to be true. But the disciples were uniquely able to know for certain whether Jesus was standing before them or not, whether He could speak to them or not, whether they could touch Him or not. And they went out and proclaimed the Resurrection until they were killed for proclaiming it.

History also records that Christians in the hundreds of thousands or even in the millions died during the persecutions of the Roman emperors. History clearly records as reported by the BBC (when again, these first Christians were in a unique position of being able to verify the truth, to actually talk to actual witnesses of the Resurrection):

Christians were first, and horribly, targeted for persecution as a group by the emperor Nero in 64 AD. A colossal fire broke out at Rome, and destroyed much of the city. Rumours abounded that Nero himself was responsible. He certainly took advantage of the resulting devastation of the city, building a lavish private palace on part of the site of the fire.

Perhaps to divert attention from the rumours, Nero ordered that Christians should be rounded up and killed. Some were torn apart by dogs, others burnt alive as human torches.

Over the next hundred years or so, Christians were sporadically persecuted. It was not until the mid-third century that emperors initiated intensive persecutions.

Which means the persecutions against Christianity actually went from terrible to even worse. And while Islam grew by the spread of violence and threat of death, Christianity flourished under the reality of some of the worst and most murderous persecutions in human history.

The book of Hebrews recites some of the great past martyrs of God’s Word, and says that which we also proclaim of these martyrs soon to come:

“They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were tempted, they were put to death with the sword; they went about in sheepskins, in goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, ill-treated, men of whom the world was not worthy, wandering in deserts and mountains and caves and holes in the ground” (Hebrews 11:37-38).

And yet, because of the ROCK of Jesus’ testimony to the truth, Christianity flourished in spite of the worst efforts of the devil to stop it. It triumphed over the Roman Empire. It has triumphed over the world, with 2.3 billion followers today, according to the statistics that I show in my article above.

And with all that said, all I have to do is look at my calender. When I see it is “2011,” I know that it is 2011 Anno Domini, “In the year of our Lord 2011.” Because the very calender that you look at every single day testifies to the power of Jesus. And while some peoples maintain separate calenders, they have to know the one that testifies to Jesus Christ.

None of this is stuff I have to depend on my Bible to know: they are all documented facts of history. I put the record of history together, and then I read my Bible, and I see that the Bible teaches the Truth that Jesus came to testify to (see John 18:37).

Good luck with your worship of napkins. I’ll stick with my Jesus who confirmed who He was in human history by rising from the dead, just as He told His disciples He would do, just as His disciples proclaimed, and just as the Word of God teaches.

The bottom line is that 1) virtually all of the basic claims of Christianity are testified to in the works of ancient historians and 2) the Bible itself has been proven over and over again to be reliable history.  And while a devout  Jew has other reasons for affirming the reliability of Scripture, I myself begin with the Resurrection of Jesus from the dead, and the transformed lives of the witnesses of His Resurrection from the dead, and then proceed to believe the testimony of the risen Christ about just Whose Word the Bible is.

The fellow proceeds to post back, saying:

“documented facts of history” Ludicrous…actually, just plain silly. It’s sad really, as you seem so lucid but for these self-corroborating delusions. Not a crumb of proof. Not a scintilla of documentation.

The holy napkins are just as likely to be true as your ancient books and prehistoric god-man.

I’m happy for you that you have found something that works for you, but the venom and vitriol you direct at others compelled me to respond.

If you really want to come off as erudite, you might want to spend a few minutes with a sixth-grade science book. Study the part about the scientific method, and someday you might come to understand why reality has such a strong “liberal” bias.

Or just ignore my advice and continue to scream obscenities in your empirical darkness. Everyone needs a hobby, I guess.

I’m left wondering just which of my “documented facts of history” aren’t documented facts of history.  It’s not 2011 AD?  Or what evidence there possibly is to make such an assertion that what I say in that response above isn’t true.  “Not a scintilla of documentation”???  The life and the teaching of Christ.  The record of the very well historically attested lives and martydoms of Jesus’ disciples.  The history of the early Christian church and the intense persecution it not only survived but thrived under – until Rome itself embraced the faith it had tried and failed to destroy for three centuries.  The calender that has dominated both Western Civilization and the entire world that was the result of this demonstrable triumph of Christianity.  Nope; not a scintilla of documentation.  One begins to wonder about the point of offering substantial arguments to someone who refuses to even acknowledge that you offered any argument at all.

And yet this sneering liberal who merely dismissively waves his hand in contempt at the clear record of history thinks he is the “objective” one.

This liberal (both secular and theological) doesn’t seem to need to acknowledge arguments.  He doesn’t need to present any facts.  His opinions are all he needs for his self-contained bubble.  But this particular liberal proceeds to offer an assertion that the “scientific method” somehow proves his secular humanist liberal worldview to be the correct one.

That assertion runs into one small problem: it entirely lacks the virtue of having any truth whatsoever to justify it.  He depends on a pure myth that somehow science erupted entirely free of Christianity, and that science somehow proceeded to replace, correct and refute Christianity.

So what is there to say about the assertion that if I just knew anything at all about the “scientific method” I would see the light?  I respond to this drive-by claim as follows:

I wish you yourself would study the “scientific method” without the bias that consumes you.

I write an article titled, “The Intolerance Of Academia Creating Modern-Day “Galileos” I end that article pointing out:

106 of the first 108 colleges in America were founded as religious Christian institutions. It was these colleges that shaped the minds of our founding fathers, who in turn produced the foundational principles and values that enabled this country to become the greatest nation in the history of the world. And in a similar but even earlier vein, the first universities in Western Europe were founded under the aegis of the Church, and emerged from the monasteries. The scientific method itself emerged from the mind of a publicly-confessed Christian: Roger Bacon joined the Franciscan Order in 1247, and argued that a more accurate experimental knowledge of nature would be of great value in confirming the Christian faith. Sir Isaac Newton – almost universally regarded as the greatest scientist who ever lived – actually wrote more on Christian theology than he did on science. And the founders of every single major branch of science were confessing Christians.

The fact is that science arose only once in human history – and it arose in Europe under the civilization then called “Christendom.” Christianity provided the essential worldview foundations necessary and essential for the birth of science: The earth was not the illusion of Eastern religion and philosophy, but a physical, tangible place. And the material world was not the corrupt and lower realm of Greek religion and philosophy, but God created it and called it “good.” And God endowed the capstone of His creation, man – as the bearer of His divine image – with the reason, the curiosity, and the desire to know the truth. And God – who made the universe and the earth for man – made man the caretaker of His creation. And thus the great astronomer Johannes Kepler described his project as “thinking God’s thoughts after Him.”

And yet today, amazingly, against all history and against all truth, we are assured that science must be officially and completely atheist in order to have any legitimacy, and that God – or even the possibility of God (or even a far more intellectually neutral “Intelligent Designer” – must be purged from every element and aspect of “science.”

Tragically, genuine science has been perverted and undermined by ideologues who are attempting to impose their atheistic worldviews upon society and remake the scientific enterprise in their own image. And in their efforts, they are using the very worst and most oppressive of tactics to destroy, intimidate, and silence their opposition. Such academics cite Galileo (another confessing Christian, by the way) and the largely propagandized tale of his persecution by the Church as an example of religion being hostile to science. But how is their own behavior any different from the worst intellectual intolerance exhibited by the Church? In their overarching zeal to persecute and expunge any meaningful sign of God from the ranks of academia, they have themselves become even worse than their caricature of religion which they so despise.

The facts are that the universities from which the scientific method came themselves came from Christianity. The facts are that the “scientific method” that you point to actually came from Christians who were thinking and reasoning out of a uniquely Christian world view. We wouldn’t HAVE a scientific method if it weren’t for Christianity; nor would we have virtually any significant branch of science had it not been all those Christians who laid the foundation. Versus you, who have as your foundation your feet planted firmly in midair.

I have written before why this is: science is limited. It must necessarily depend on something greater than itself to have any foundation or offer any valid conclusion.

It’s actually funny that you speak the way you do. I offer fact after fact. You express your useless opinions, and like a fool ignore the facts.

Then you speak of “my venom and vitriol,” but again, the record of academia today – with the above article being merely one of many I can cite (here’s just one example) – is one of people who think like me being rabidly attacked and persecuted and fired by people who think just like you.

Now begone. I won’t continue to argue with someone who spews worthless opinions in a drive-by attack. Two such comments were enough.

Why do I block him?  Am I disinterested in having debate?  Well, when someone doesn’t even bother to respond to your argument, and proceeds to offer assertions in place of facts, there is little point to a “debate.”

I point out:

Mark Twain said, “A lie can get halfway around the world before the truth can put it’s boots on.”

One of the problems with lies versus the truth is that any fool with an opinion can tell a lie. And tell it very quickly. But it takes knowledge and careful argument to present the truth and refute the lies.

I don’t have any intention of spending all my time on my blog. But if I allowed liberals to post these 3-4 sentence fact-free dismissals, and then worked on refuting them, I would end up spending ALL my time on my blog.

The book of Proverbs chapter 26 verses 4-5 teaches that one needs to respond to a fool, lest the fool become wise in his own esteem. In the same breath, it teaches that if one spends too much time arguing with a fool, others won’t be able to tell the difference between the fool and the one trying to correct the fool.

I try to strike a balance.

And I do.

The fellow posts back to my spam file to inform me that boy did he ever wipe the floor with me, and that just as my hobby is whatever he wants to imagine it, his hobby is “destroying Christians” or somesuch.  I’ll let you be the judge as to whose arguments prevail, and whose are rather trivial assertions with no basis in fact.  I don’t doubt for a second that unbelievers will see whatever they want to see.  The question is, as Jesus Himself asked, is what do YOU think about Jesus?  Who do YOU say He is?

I thought the above discussion was illustrative due to a) the facts I present and b) the galling absence of facts or truth or even the perception of the need for them by my attacker.  It’s interesting that secular humanists only see the Christian’s need to win the argument, but never feel that their worldview should ever be questioned or need to be defended.

There is an interesting story that illustrates how the world thinks when it comes to Jesus and the Bible that I heard in a sermon on John 15:18-16:4:

 When missionaries were first going to inland Africa, the wife of an African chief visited a missionary station.  Hanging outside the missionary’s cabin, on a tree, was a little mirror.  The chief’s wife had never seen her hardened features and hideous paintings on her face.  (She was want we would call “one ugly momma!)” She gazed at her own terrifying countenance and then jumped back in horror, exclaiming, “who is that horrible person inside the tree?” 

“Oh,” the missionary explained, “it is not the tree.  The glass is reflecting your own face.” 

She wouldn’t believe it until she was holding the mirror in her hand.  When she understood, she said to the missionary, “I must have the glass.  How much will you sell it for?”  The missionary really didn’t want to sell his only mirror, but the African insisted so strongly that the missionary didn’t want to cause trouble, and so finally capitulated and sold the mirror. 

The chief’s wife took the mirror, exclaiming, “I will never have it making faces at me again!”  And with that she threw it down, breaking it to pieces.

And the fact of the matter is that people hate to see what they really are and hate God’s Word because it reveals their true selves.  The mirror never changes.  Every human being must choose how he or she will react when we take a good look at Jesus as revealed in God’s Word.  Either we will repent of our sin and turn to him, or we will reject and hate him.

Given that communism is state atheism, and given that state atheism has been documented to be responsible for more than 100 million murders during the 20th century alone and during peacetime alone, one would think that secular humanists and atheists should also have to give an account for why what they believe should be accepted as true.  But in our elite mainstream media culture, that challenge is never given.  Meanwhile, the Bible and the historic resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead stand like twin anvils no matter who pounds on it or for how many centuries successive generations of unbelievers continue pounding.

Jesus conquered death.  We know more about that death (in which Jesus gave His life to take the blame for our sins) than any other death in antiquity.  And people have had two millennia to examine that perfect life and the details and results produced by that death.

We also know that more people celebrate that death than have ever celebrated the life of any other human being who ever lived.  Because of the testimonies of the witnesses to that death – and the glorious Resurrection that followed – which was sealed in the blood of these martyrs – Christianity stands confirmed by history.  The tomb of every other great religious leader is venerated by the followers of those religions.

We have stories like this one that fittingly came out on the day that Christians celebrate the Ressurection of Jesus Christ from the dead:

NEW DELHI (Reuters) – Indian spiritual guru Sri Sathya Sai Baba, revered by millions of followers as a living god, died Sunday in a hospital in southern India. He was 86.

Sai Baba, who was admitted to hospital in his hometown of Puttaparti a month ago, died of multiple organ failure, media said.

His followers, estimated to number six million, included top Indian politicians, business tycoons and Bollywoods stars.

Soon we will be able to visit Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s tomb, just as we can go and see the tomb of the prophet Muhammad.  The same is true of Buddha, and Confucious, and everyone else.  The tomb of Jesus alone is empty.

And because of Jesus’ life, and death, and glorious Resurrection to resurrection life as the firstfruits of all who call upon His name, the world changed.  And, myths and lies aside, the very science that secular humanists point to as a replacement for the ultimate Truth of the Christian Life is itself  a powerful testimony to the incredible change that Christianity brought to the world.

A sermon by John Piper points out that ultimately – and I believe one day very soon – the scoffers will receive all the proof that they have always demanded.  But by the time they receive the evidence their refusal to believe demands, it will already be too late.  And their eternal destiny will already be decided.

I pray you don’t share their fate.

So, bigots are people who are intolerantly devoted to their own views, and who treat members of certain groups with hatred and intolerance.

A new analysis of political signs displayed at a tea party rally in Washington last month reveals that the vast majority of activists expressed narrow concerns about the government’s economic and spending policies and steered clear of the racially charged anti-Obama messages that have helped define some media coverage of such events.

Emily Ekins, a graduate student at UCLA, conducted the survey at the 9/12 Taxpayer March on Washington last month by scouring the crowd, row by row and hour by hour, and taking a picture of every sign she passed.

Ekins photographed about 250 signs, and more than half of those she saw reflected a “limited government ethos,” she found – touching on such topics as the role of government, liberty, taxes, spending, deficit and concern about socialism. Examples ranged from the simple message “$top the $pending” scrawled in black-marker block letters to more elaborate drawings of bar charts, stop signs and one poster with the slogan “Socialism is Legal Theft” and a stick-figure socialist pointing a gun at the head of a taxpayer.

There were uglier messages, too – including “Obama Bin Lyin’ – Impeach Now” and “Somewhere in Kenya a Village is Missing its Idiot.” But Ekins’s analysis showed that only about a quarter of all signs reflected direct anger with Obama. Only 5 percent of the total mentioned the president’s race or religion, and slightly more than 1 percent questioned his American citizenship.

Ekins’s conclusion is not that the racially charged messages are unimportant but that media coverage of tea party rallies over the past year have focused so heavily on the more controversial signs that it has contributed to the perception that such content dominates the tea party movement more than it actually does.

“Really this is an issue of salience,” Ekins said. “Just because a couple of percentage points of signs have those messages doesn’t mean the other people don’t share those views, but it doesn’t mean they do, either. But when 25 percent of the coverage is devoted to those signs, it suggests that this is the issue that 25 percent of people think is so important that they’re going to put it on a sign, when it’s actually only a couple of people.”

Adam Brandon, a spokesman for FreedomWorks, said his organization did not instruct protesters to limit their messages to fiscal slogans, but he did patrol the crowd and threw out a few protesters carrying signs depicting Obama as Adolf Hitler.

If you want to look at the face of one of the most dangerous and most damaging bigots in America today, you can do so from your very own home.  Just turn on the television and watch the news.  And there is a very good chance that you will be looking at the glassy-eyed, glib face of a bigot.

Journalists are obstinately or intolerantly devoted to their opinions and prejudices.  As a matter of routine, they regard or treat the members of a group (conservatives and their sub-groups, such as Christians and Tea Party supporters) with hatred and intolerance.

They don’t accurately or honestly report the facts; they slant the news with their bigotry.

I wrote an article nearly a year-and-a-half ago that began thus:

I didn’t even know what “teabagging” was in the nasty sense until CNN’s Anderson Cooper (“It’s hard to talk when you’re tea-bagging“), MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann (“the teabaggers are full-throated about their goals“) – and numerous others just like them – used the term as a rhetorical propaganda polemic to attack and ridicule hundreds of thousands of Tea Party demonstrators simply because something about tea parties sounded similar to something that warped liberals did to one another.

But now that I know what it is, lefties can go teabag themselves.  It’s pretty much who they are anyway.

CNN’s Susan Roesgen, who handpicked protesters at the Tea Parties and attempted to argue with their political views rather than simply report on the event like a legitimate journalist would have done, is a classic piece of agenda-driven propaganda masqeurading as news these days.

MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann, who put failed radio host Janeane Garofalo on his “Countdown” program so he could join with her in agreeing that everyone who attended a Tea Party was a racist who couldn’t stand a black man being president; and put on Michael Musto so he could agree with Musto’s rabid description of Miss California Carrie Prejean as a homophobic female transsexual for honestly answering a simple question about gay marriage.  This, of course, isn’t “news.”  It’s not even “propaganda.”  It’s simply naked hate.

In another shocking base of media bigotry revealed, CNN anchor Rick Sanchez – who fraudulently reported as fact “bigoted” statements that Rush Limbaugh never made – proceeded to demonstrate on air that he – and NOT Rush Limbaugh – was the real bigot.

CNN recently fired Sanchez for his “them Jews” talk, but they had been fine with his previous blatant display of anti-conservative bigotry that had resulted in slanderous statements that made a mockery of the journalistic integrity of his entire mainstream media network.

Being a “journalist” today has virtually become synonymous with being a “bigot.”

And the only difference between a garden variety bigot and a journalist is that the former don’t have a large forum, whereas the latter get to spread their hate and lies on mass media.

The final question is this: if you constantly voluntarily watch bigots and agree with their views, then what are you?

Sleepwalking Into a Nightmare: Newt Gingrich’s Remarks to a Jewish National Fund Meeting at the Selig Center

“Good evening.

I just want to talk to you from the heart for a few minutes tonight, and share with you where I think we are.

I think it is very stark. I don’t think it is yet desperate, but it is very stark. And if I had a title for tonight’s talk, it would be ‘Sleepwalking Into a Nightmare’, because that’s what I think we’re doing.

I gave a speech at the American Enterprise Institute recently, at which I gave an alternative history of the last six years, because the more I thought about how much we’re failing, the more I concluded you couldn’t just nitpick individual places and talk about individual changes because it didn’t capture the scale of the disaster. And I had been particularly impressed by a new book that came out called ‘Troublesome Young Men’, which is a study of the younger Conservatives who opposed appeasement in the 1930s and who took on Chamberlain. It’s a very revealing book and a very powerful book because we tend to look backwards and we tend to overstate Churchill’s role in that period. And we tend to understate what a serious and conscientious and thoughtful effort appeasement was and that it was the direct and deliberate policy of very powerful and very willful people. We tend to think of it as a psychological weakness as though Chamberlain was somehow craven. He wasn’t craven. Chamberlain had a very clear vision of the World, and he was very ruthless domestically.

And they believed so deeply in avoiding war with Germany that as late as the spring of 1940, when they are six months or seven months into the war, they are dropping leaflets instead of bombs on the Rohr, and they are urging the British news media not to publish anti-German stories because they don’t want to offend the German people. And you read this book, and it makes you want to weep because, interestingly, the younger Tories who were most opposed to appeasement were the combat veterans of World War I, who had lost all of their friends in the war but who understood that the failure of appeasement would result in a worse war and that the longer you lied about reality, the greater the disaster.

And they were severely punished and isolated by Chamberlain and the Conservative machine, and as I read that, I realized that that’s really where we are today. Our current problem is tragic. You have an administration whose policy is inadequate being opposed by a political Left whose policy is worse, and you have nobody prepared to talk about the policy we need. Because we are told, ‘if you are for a strong America, you should back the Bush policy even if it’s inadequate’, and so you end up making an argument in favor of something that can’t work. So your choice is to defend something which isn’t working, or to oppose it by being for an even weaker policy. And this is a catastrophe for this country, and a catastrophe for freedom around the world. Because we have refused to be honest about the scale of the problem.

Let me work backwards. I’m going to get to Iran, since that’s the topic, but I’m going to get to it eventually.

Let me work back from Pakistan. The dictatorship in Pakistan has never had control over Waziristan. Not for a single day. So we’ve now spent six years since 9/11 with a sanctuary for Al-Qaida, and a sanctuary for the Taliban, and every time we pick up people in Great Britain who are terrorists, they were trained in Pakistan.

And our answer is to praise Musharraf, because at least he’s not as bad as the others. But the truth is Musharraf has not gotten control of terrorism in Pakistan. Musharraf doesn’t have full control over his own government. The odds are even money we’re going to drift into a disastrous dictatorship at some point in Pakistan. And while we worry about the Iranians acquiring a nuclear weapon, the Pakistanis already have them. So why would you feel secure in a world where you could presently have an Islamist dictatorship in Pakistan with a hundred-plus nuclear weapons? What’s our grand strategy for that?

Then you look at Afghanistan. Here’s a country that’s small, poor, isolated, and in six years we have not been able to build roads, create economic opportunity, wean people off of growing drugs. A third of the Afghani GDP is from drugs. We haven’t been able to end the sanctuary for the Taliban in Pakistan. And I know of no case historically where you defeat a guerrilla movement if it has a sanctuary. So the people who rely on the West are out bribed by the criminals, outgunned by the criminals, and faced with a militant force across the border which practiced earlier defeating the Soviet empire and which has a time horizon of three or four generations. NATO has a time horizon of each quarter or at best a year, facing an opponent whose time horizon is literally three or four generations. It’s a total mismatch.

Then you come to the direct threat to the United States, which is al-Qaeda. About which, by the way, we just published polls. One of the sites I commend to you is AmericanSolutions.com. Last Wednesday we posted six national surveys, $428,000 worth of data. We gave it away. I found myself in the unique position of calling Howard Dean to tell him I was giving him $400,000 worth of polling. We have given it away to Democrats and Republicans alike. It is fundamentally different from the national news media. When asked the question “Do we have an obligation to defend the United States and her allies?” the answer is 85 percent yes. When asked a further question “Should we defeat our enemies?” – it’s very strong language – the answer is 75 percent yes.

So the complaint about Iraq is a performance complaint, not a values complaint.

When asked whether or not al-Qaeda is a threat, 89 percent of the country says yes. And they think you have to defeat it, you can’t negotiate with it. So now let’s look at al-Qaeda and the rise of Islamist terrorism. And let’s be honest: What’s the primary source of money for al-Qaeda? It’s you, re-circulated through Saudi Arabia. Because we have no national energy strategy, when clearly if you really cared about liberating the United States from the Middle East and if you really cared about the survival of Israel, one of your highest goals would be to move to a hydrogen economy, and to eliminate petroleum as a primary source of energy

Now that’s what a serious national strategy would look like, but that would require an actual change.

So then you look at Saudi Arabia. The fact that we tolerate a country saying no Christian and no Jew can go to Mecca, and we start with the presumption that that’s true, while they attack Israel for being a religious state, is a sign of our timidity, our confusion, our cowardice, that is stunning.

It’s not complicated. We invited Saudi Arabia to come to Annapolis to talk about rights for Palestinians when nobody said, “Let’s talk about rights for Christians and Jews in Saudi Arabia. Let’s talk about rights for women in Saudi Arabia.”

So we accept this totally one-sided definition of the world, in which our enemies can cheerfully lie on television every day, and we don’t even have the nerve to insist on the truth. We pretend their lies are reasonable. This is a very fundamental problem. And if you look at who some of the largest owners of some of our largest banks are today … they’re Saudis.

You keep pumping billions of dollars a year into countries like Venezuela, Iran and Saudi Arabia, and Russia, and you are presently going to have created people who oppose you, who have lots of money. And they’re then going to come back to your own country and finance, for example, Arab study institutes whose only requirement is that they never tell the truth. So you have all sorts of Ph.D.’s who now show up quite cheerfully prepared to say whatever it is that makes their founders happy — in the name, of course, of academic freedom. In this context, why wouldn’t Columbia host a genocidal madman? It’s just part of political correctness. I mean, Ahmadinejad may say terrible things; he may lock up students, he may kill journalists, he may say, “We should wipe out Israel,” he may say, “We should defeat the United States,” but after all, what has he done that’s inappropriate? What has he done that wouldn’t be repeated at a Hollywood cocktail party or a nice gathering in Europe?

And nobody says, ‘this is totally, utterly, absolutely unacceptable’. Why is it that the number-one threat in intelligence movies is always the CIA? I happened the other night to be watching an old movie, ‘To Live and Die in L.A.’, which is about counterfeiting. But the movie starts with a Secret Service agent who is defending Ronald Reagan in 1985, and the person he is defending Ronald Reagan from is a suicide bomber who is actually, overtly, a Muslim fanatic. Now, six years after 9/11, you could not get that same scene made in Hollywood today.

Just look at the movies. Why is it that the bad person has to be either a right-wing crazed billionaire, or the CIA as a government agency? Go look at the ‘Bourne Ultimatum’. Or a movie like the one that George Clooney made, which was an absolute lie, in which it was implied that if you were a reformist Arab prince, the CIA would kill you. It’s a total lie. We actually have SEALS protecting people all over the world. We actually risk American lives protecting reformers all over the world, and yet Hollywood can’t bring itself to tell the truth, because (a) it’s ideologically opposed to the American government and the American military; and (b), because it’s terrified that if it said something really openly, honestly truthful about Muslim terrorists, they might show up in Hollywood, and somebody might be killed as the Dutch producer was killed. They’re cowards.

And so we’re living a life of cowardice, and in that life of cowardice we’re sleepwalking into a nightmare.

And then you come to Iran. There’s a terrific book. Mark Bowden is a remarkable writer who wrote ‘Black Hawk Down’, has enormous personal courage. He’s a Philadelphia newspaper writer, actually got the money out of the Philadelphia newspaper to go to Somalia to interview the Somalian side of ‘Black Hawk Down’. It’s a remarkable achievement. Tells a great story about getting to Somalia, paying lots of cash, having the local warlord protect him, and after about two weeks the warlord came to him and said, “You know, we’ve decided that we’re very uncomfortable with you being here, and you should leave.”

And so he goes to the hotel, where he is the only hard-currency guest, and says, “I’ve got to check out two weeks early because the warlord has told me that he no longer will protect me.” And the hotel owner, who wants to keep his only hard-currency guest, says, “Well, why are you listening to him? He’s not the government. There is no government.” And Bowden says, “Well, what will I do?” And he says, “You hire a bigger warlord with more guns,” which he did. But then he could only stay one week because he ran out of money.

But this is a guy with real courage. I mean, imagine trying to go out and be a journalist in that kind of world, OK? So Bowden came back and wrote ‘Guest of the Ayatollah’, which is the Iranian hostage of 1979, which he entitled, ‘The First Shots in Iran’s War Against America.’ So in the Bowden world view, the current Iranian dictatorship has been at war with the United States since 1979. Violated international law. Every conceivable tenet of international law was violated when they seized the American Embassy and they seized the diplomats. Killed Americans in Lebanon in the early ’80s. Killed Americans at Khobar Towers in ’95 and had the Clinton administration deliberately avoid revealing the information, as Louis Freeh, the Director of the FBI, has said publicly, because they didn’t want to have to confront the Iranian complicity.

And so you have an Iranian regime which is cited annually as the leading supporter of state terrorism in the world. Every year the State Department says that. It’s an extraordinary act of lucidity on the part of an institution which seeks to avoid it as often as possible And you have Gen. Petraeus come to the U.S. Congress and say publicly in an open session, “The Iranians are waging a proxy war against Americans in Iraq.”

I was so deeply offended by this, it’s hard for me to express it without sounding irrational. I’m an Army Brat. My dad served 27 years in the infantry. The idea that an American general would come to the American Congress, testify in public that our young men and women are being killed by Iran, and we have done nothing, I find absolutely abhorrent So I’m preparing to come and talk today. I got up this morning, and a friend had sent me yesterday’s Jerusalem Post editorial, which if you haven’t read, I recommend to you. It has, for example, the following quote: “On Monday, chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat said, ‘The problem of the content of the document setting out joint principles for peace-making post-Annapolis has not been resolved. One of the more pressing problems is the Zionist regime’s insistence on being recognized as a Jewish state. We will not agree to recognize Israel as a Jewish state. There is no country in the world where religious and national identities are intertwined.’

What truly bothers me is the shallowness and the sophistry of the Western governments, starting with our own. When a person says to you, “I don’t recognize that you exist,” you don’t start a negotiation. The person says, “I literally do not recognize” and then lies to you. I mean the first thing you say to this guy is “Terrific. Let’s go visit Mecca. Since clearly there’s no other state except Israel that is based on religion, the fact that I happen to be Christian won’t bother anybody.” And then he’ll say, “Well, that’s different.”

We actually tolerate this. We have created our own nightmare, because we refuse to tell the truth. We refuse to tell the truth to our politicians. Our State Department refuses to tell the truth to the country. If the President of the United States … and again, we’re now so bitterly partisan, we’re so committed to red-vs.-blue hostility … that George W. Bush doesn’t have the capacity to give an address from the Oval Office that has any meaning for half the country. And the anti-war Left is so strong in the Democratic primary that I think it’s almost impossible for any Democratic presidential candidate to tell the truth about the situation.

And so the Republicans are isolated and trying to defend incompetence. The Democrats are isolated and trying to find a way to say, “I’m really for strength as long as I can have peace, but I’d really like to have peace, except I don’t want to recognize these people who aren’t very peaceful.”

I just want to share with you, as a grandfather, as a citizen, as a historian, as somebody who was once speaker of the House, this is a serious national crisis. This is actually 1935 or 1936, and it’s getting worse every year.

None of our enemies are confused. Our enemies don’t get up each morning and go, “Oh, gosh, I think I’ll have an existential crisis of identity in which I will try to think through whether or not we can be friends while you’re killing me.” No; our enemies get up every morning and say, “We hate the West. We hate freedom. We will kill them all.” They would not allow a meeting with women in the room. I was once interviewed by a BBC reporter, a nice young lady who was only about as anti-American as she had to be to keep her job. Since it was a live interview, I turned to her halfway through the interview and I said, “Do you like your job?” And it was summertime, and she’s wearing a short-sleeve dress. And she said, “Well, yes.” She was confused because I had just reversed roles. I said, “Well, then you should hope we win.” She said, “What do you mean?” And I said, “Well, if the enemy wins, you won’t be allowed to be on television.”

I don’t know how to explain it any simpler than that.

Now, what do we need?

We need first of all to recognize this is a real war. Our enemies are peaceful when they’re weak, are ruthless when they’re strong, demand mercy when they’re losing, show no mercy when they’re winning. They understand exactly what this is, and anybody who reads Sun Tzu will understand exactly what we’re living through. This is a total war. One side is going to win. One side is going to lose. You’ll be able to tell who won and who lost by who’s still standing. Most of Islam is not in this war, but most of Islam isn’t going to stop this war. They’re just going to sit to one side and tell you how sorry they are that this is happening.

We had better design grand strategies that are radically bigger and radically tougher and radically more honest than anything currently going on, and that includes winning the argument in Europe, and it includes winning the argument in the rest of the world.

And it includes being very clear, and I’ll just give you one simple example because we’re now muscle-bound by our own inability to talk honestly. Iran produces 60 percent of its own gasoline. It produces lots of crude oil but only has one refinery. It imports 40 percent of its gasoline. The entire 60 percent is produced at one huge refinery.

In 1981, Ronald Reagan decided to break the Soviet empire. He was asked: ‘what’s your vision of the Cold War?’ He said, ‘Four words: we win; they lose.’ He was clearly seen by The New York Times as an out-of-touch, reactionary, right-wing cowboy from California who had no idea what was going on in the world. And eleven years later the Soviet Union disappeared, but obviously that had nothing to do with Reagan because that would have meant he was right. So it’s just a random accident the Soviet Union disappeared.

Part of the war we waged on the Soviet Union involved their natural gas supply because we wanted to cut off their hard currency. The Soviets were desperate to get better equipment for their pipeline. We managed to sell them, through third parties, some very, very sophisticated American pipeline equipment, which they were absolutely thrilled to buy, and thought they had pulled off a huge coup. Now, we weren’t playing fair. We did not tell them that the equipment was designed to fail; to blow itself up. It was in the software that ran the equipment, and they never detected it. One day in 1982, there was an explosion in Siberia so large that the initial reflection on the satellites looked like it was a tactical nuclear weapon. One part of the White House was genuinely worried, and the other part of the White House had to calm them down. They said, “No, no, that’s just our own equipment blowing up.”

In the 28 years since the Iranians declared war on us, in the six years since 9/11, in the months since Gen. Petraeus publicly said they are killing young Americans, we have not been able to figure out how to take down a single refinery. Covertly, quietly, without overt war. And we have not been able to figure out how to use the most powerful Navy in the world to simply stop the tankers and say, “Look, you want to kill young Americans, you’re going to walk to the battlefield. You’re not going to ride in the car, because you’re not going to have any gasoline.”

We don’t have to be stupid. The choice is not cowardice or total war. Reagan unlocked Poland without firing a shot, via an alliance with the Pope, with the labor unions, and with the British. We have every possibility, if we’re prepared to be honest, to shape the world. It’ll be a very big project. It’s going to require an effort much closer to the effort we put into World War II than it is to anything we’ve tried recently. It will require great effort, real intensity and real determination. We’re either going to do it now, while we’re still extraordinarily powerful, or we’re going to do it later under much more desperate circumstances after we’ve lost several cities.

We had better take this seriously, because we are not very many mistakes away from a second Holocaust. Three nuclear weapons is a second Holocaust. Our enemies would like to get those weapons as soon as they can, and they promise to use them as soon as they can. I suggest we defeat our enemies, and create a different situation long before they have that power.
