It’s Official: The United States Of Sodom – i.e. God DAMN America – Is Back In The Days Of The Old Testament And The Wrath Of God

I’ve been thinking about the Book of Habakkuk lately.  The prophet was railing about the vile wickedness that he saw all around him in Judah (which had remained faithful to God while the northern kingdom of Israel was wicked until God brought the vicious Assyrians against them and hauled them away never to return).  And the prophet said:

“This is the message that the prophet Habakkuk received in a vision.  How long, O LORD, must I call for help? But you do not listen! “Violence is everywhere!” I cry, but you do not come to save.  Must I forever see these evil deeds? Why must I watch all this misery? Wherever I look, I see destruction and violence. I am surrounded by people who love to argue and fight.  The law has become paralyzed, and there is no justice in the courts. The wicked far outnumber the righteous, so that justice has become perverted.” — Habakkuk 1:4

And what does God say?  Does He say, “Oh, no, things are going swimmingly well…”  Does He say, “Golly gee, you’re right, but I can’t do anything about it.”  No.  God says this:

The LORD replied, “Look around at the nations; look and be amazed! For I am doing something in your own day, something you wouldn’t believe even if someone told you about it.  I am raising up the Babylonians, a cruel and violent people. They will march across the world and conquer other lands.  They are notorious for their cruelty and do whatever they like. — Hab 1:5-7

We live in a time (in Obama’s post-racial America where our messianic president has fulfilled his promise to rise above the partisan divide and lower the level of the oceans, etc. etc. ad nauseam) where cities burning down in race riots is commonplace and violent crime is rising everywhere Democrats have perverted in cities like New York and Baltimore.  Thugs empowered by Democrat Party policies rule the streets today.

But it is Habakkuk’s last and most powerful indictment against the wickedness of his people that I am most taken with today:

“The law has become paralyzed, and there is no justice in the courts. The wicked far outnumber the righteous, so that justice has become perverted.”

Satan has no greater hold anywhere in America than he does in our court rooms, our places of “law” and “justice.”

I look at what our Supreme Court did today in imposing homosexuality upon a nation that was once “one nation, under God” and which once called upon the LORD and I weep for the nation under the violent wrath of God that we have become under the immoral wickedness of the Democrat Party platform.  I read what God’s Word declares and I shudder:

Unbelief and Its Consequences [Romans 1:18-31]

18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.

24Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. 25For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.

28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; 32and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.

For the official record, there is a place where “violence” and “homosexuality” go hand in hand – or penis in orifice, to be more technically precise: our prisons are FILLED with homosexual rape.  Oh, yes.  Vicious prisoners and homosexuality are penis and orifice.  Which is to say that either homosexuals are the worst, most degenerate, most vile and most violent people there ARE and homosexuals are all criminals because they are horrible people or else homosexuality truly IS a learned behavior and this whole “born gay” thing is as disgusting a lie as what two homosexual men do to one another is disgusting.  Take your pick.  Either way, liberalism is as wrong as you can get.  And homosexuality is a moral disease that manifests itself in every OTHER kind of physical disease.

In all of human history NO culture EVER sanctioned homosexual marriage; we are THE most wicked and perverted people in the history of the world, unless you consider the Old Testament peoples who inhabited the land of Canaan that God told His people to utterly exterminate lest the filth of their wickedness contaminate them (as it did).  We’ve just reached the ultimate rock bottom that God described in Romans chapter one for us.

This is as good a place as any to point out what a depraved LIAR Barack Obama turned out to be on every issue under the sun INCLUDING ON THE NATURE OF MARRIAGE.  When he was running for president, in order to get himself elected under false pretenses, Obama said this:

 WARREN: There’s a lot more I’d like to ask on that. We have 15 other questions here. Define marriage.

OBAMA: I believe that marriage is the union between a man and a woman. Now, for me as a Christian — for me — for me as a Christian, it is also a sacred union. God’s in the mix. But —

WARREN: Would you support a Constitutional Amendment with that definition?

OBAMA: No, I would not.

WARREN: Why not?

OBAMA: Because historically — because historically, we have not defined marriage in our constitution. It’s been a matter of state law. That has been our tradition. I mean, let’s break it down. The reason that people think there needs to be a constitutional amendment, some people believe, is because of the concern that — about same-sex marriage. I am not somebody who promotes same-sex marriage, but I do believe in civil unions. I do believe that we should not — that for gay partners to want to visit each other in the hospital for the state to say, you know what, that’s all right, I don’t think in any way inhibits my core beliefs about what marriage are. I think my faith is strong enough and my marriage is strong enough that I can afford those civil rights to others, even if I have a different perspective or different view.

Obama’s senior political strategist openly admitted that Obama lied on that answer.  He knew he would never get elected telling the truth.  So he lied so he could begin to pervert and deprave America to his demonic agenda from the office of president.  But we can now clearly point out that Obama lied in another profound way: Obama said he was opposed to some amendment to the Constitution because why?  Marriage has always been a matter of state law.  And people ought to have the right to their own different perspectives or different views.  Well, NOT ANY MORE.  Because the same pervert president who said that lying garbage is now celebrating the Supreme Court IMPOSING HOMOSEXUAL MARRIAGE ON EVERY SINGLE STATE WHETHER IT HAS A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE OR A DIFFERENT VIEW OR NOT.

Barack Obama’s mission was to a false angel of light just like his master Lucifer from within the White House.  And it worked.  He never would have been elected had he told the American people the truth up front about where he stood.  So he lied to them and then proceeded to incrementally lead them to some “shifting stance” on what the Bible declared is “detestable” and “an abomination” and never ONCE “shifted” FROM that “stance.”

In the same manner, liberal Supreme Court INjustice Ruth Bader Ginsburg once openly admitted that the Supreme Court decision to impose the Holocaust of abortion on this nation was flawed and went too far and created a bitter division in America that could have been avoided had the issue been decided by the legislative branch as it should have been rather than being hijacked by the Supreme Court as the Court did.  Ginsburg called the ruling “heavy-handed judicial activism.”

But as a dishonest hypocrite she proceeded to do the EXACT SAME THING all over again.

The Word of God also declares:

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! — Isaiah 5:20

And that is EXACTLY what Lord Sauron and his nine ringwraiths have now done in the wickedness of their dishonest perversion.  These people are not good or honest; they are liars and hypocrites to the cores of their rotten souls.  And before this wicked ruling homosexuals had the same rights any of the rest of us did: a homosexual man had every right to marry any adult woman who would have him, the same as me.  And it is hardly any decent person’s fault that they did not wish to exercise their basic freedom.

In a recent article I wrote about the Confederate flag, I quoted Abraham Lincoln speaking against slavery.  “You cannot have a right to do wrong,” he said.  Homosexuality is WRONG.  It is wrong according to every single world religion and it is even horribly wrong according to Darwinian evolution.  It is just plain WRONG.

“God gave America over” and “the wrath of God is revealed” against America.  And we’re going to receive in our persons “the due penalty” of our error.

Liberal progressives decry the God of the Bible and sit in judgment over Him and say He’s intolerant and unloving.  Well, they might think they’re more moral than God and they might think they’ve got a better plan than God in their arrogant depravity; but what they DON’T have is their own UNIVERSE.  But that doesn’t stop them from raising their middle fingers at God.

And I have been watching the SAME people from the SAME place do the SAME vicious things that the vicious Assyrians and the wicked Babylonians did when God delivered Israel and ultimately Judah over to these terrorist monsters because of their wickedness and betrayal of God.  Because as much as the liberal Democrats despise the days of the Old Testament, THEY BROUGHT THEM BACK.  IN SPADES.

Hell is about to come to America that will leave people STUNNED and AMAZED.  We look at Russia and China and think we see countries that are more wicked.  But that is an illusion generated by the ideological left; neither China nor Russia endorse sodomy perversion the way Obama and now the U.S. Supreme Court does.  Both Russia and China are mentioned in the Bible in end-times prophecy, but the United States is nowhere to be found because either we won’t even exist anymore or we will be too weak and collapsed to be relevant. And I submit that God will judge America more harshly than any nation SINCE Israel and Judah because we once declared our dependence on God and now we’ve pissed in His eye.  And God is not mocked for long.

If I may be crass for a moment, you want your precious sodomy, America, and God will ensure that you get it right up your collectivist ASS.  And it’s going to hurt nightmare bad when you get it.

Under Barack Hussein Obama and his wicked vision for America, I have watched terrorism EXPLODE while the nation under him deteriorates like a piece of rotting meat.  The terrorist ARMY Islamic State basically didn’t exist when George W. Bush turned the presidency over to Barack Obama.  Iraq was – and this in Barack Obama’s words – “sovereign, stable and self-reliant.”  Obama’s vice president – trying to steal the credit for the VICTORY that George W. Bush had won with his highly successful surge strategy that Obama and Biden had bitterly opposed and demagogued – said that Iraq was going to be “one of the great achievements of this administration.”

The Arab world has BURNED to the ground under Barack Hussein Obama’s “leadership.”  Our worst enemy in the region Iran has seized total control of Iraq even as Obama is preparing to give Iran such an insanely stupid nuclear weapons deal that 18 of America’s top foreign policy experts including FIVE Obama officials wrote an open letter warning America about.

Just today AS I WRITE there were THREE major terrorist attacks all over the world with dozens killed: in France, in Kuwait and in Tunisia.  While Islamic State just slaughtered over 140 Kurds as whole families were wiped out in Kobani.  But hey, nothin’ to see here, folks.

We’ve now got domestic terror attacks right up the whazoo.  There are THOUSANDS of radical jihadists waiting to unleash murder across America, says the FBI.  And we can’t even read their internet communications because Obama has so desperately failed to protect us.  We’re sitting sheep waiting for our slaughter.  And Obama’s response is to call an incident with a Muslim with violent jihadist rants posted all over his website who beheaded one woman and was shot (by someone Democrats’ rabidly despise: an armed citizen) trying to behead another woman for Allah an example of “workplace violence.”

I want you to consider a few facts that were compiled in 2014.  For instance, in June 9, 2014 we learned that there had been a “58% increase in the number of Islamist terror groups” since 2010 (basically since Obama took office).  We learned on June 14, 2014 that during that same time frame since Obama took office, the number of vicious jihadist monsters had DOUBLED with the number of terrorist attacks TRIPLING.  And in 2014 we looked in horror as a terrorist army that didn’t even EXIST before Obama filled the White House with the stench of his moral idiocy now had a massive terrorist caliphate that made Osama bin Laden’s struggle a complete success.

That was pretty bad.  But look what the Los Angeles Times says of 2o15 compared to that awful time I described above:

In other words, “terrorist violence exploded around the world last year” FROM THE YEAR BEFORE WHEN IT WAS ALREADY EXPLODING.

We are powerless against the 1 billion Muslims – with over a hundred million minimum fully radicalized.  Attacks will get more and more numerous, more and more organized, better and better funded and planned.  And we’ve got NOTHING but a weak puppet-pawn of the devil to keep us safe.

We are looking at terrorism and violence unlike anything the world has ever seen.  And we’re looking at Obama’s false promises and his lies and his demonic incompetence and his lies to a deluded, depraved and wicked people who keep believing them.

Barack Hussein Obama – the arrogant, narcissistic, pathologically wicked self-deceived demon-possessed liar that he is – claimed that Islamic State was “JayVee” even AFTER they seized a major city in Iraq.  And then lied about it like the pathetic little coward that he truly is.  He claimed that he had wiped out al Qaeda.  When anyone who had eyes to see and ears to hear understood that the exact OPPOSITE was happening.

This has ALL happened during Obama’s presidency and as a result of his presidency.  And the result of progressive liberalism.

God is going to send the most vicious violence to deal with our vile wickedness.  He is using Islamic State as His instrument of wrath.  It is an amazing thing that as EVIL as Islamic State is, Barack Obama is even MORE evil and MORE detestable in the sight of God.  And the United States of America is now even more evil and more detestable in the sight of God because God holds a nation accountable for the wickedness of its king and the king’s wickedness is OUR wickedness because the king represents us.  Especially when we elect him and then RE-elect that wicked king.

As Islamic State rises, we see the rise of our other worst enemies.  China is building militarized islands in the South China Sea.  And threatening a weak, cowardly, pathetic America with WAR unless we bow down before them and get the hell out of their way.  China has already surpassed America for the first time in history because of the wickedness of Obama, but we aint seen NOTHIN’ yet: HALF the world’s trade passes through the South China Sea shipping lanes China is now saying is its exclusive domain as they realize that America under Obama has been afflicted with weakness and cowardice and will not fight.  Understand, because of Barack Obama China just took over a shipping lane more important than the Panama Canal AND the Suez Canal COMBINED.

China just brazenly launched an all-out war against the computer systems this nation depends on.  And it WAS an act of war, but America dare not respond.

We’re being bullied around like the school yard PUNK.  Because that’s what we voted to be TWICE under the metastasizing cancer that is the Obama presidency.

If we fight China, we will lose.  Because Reverend Jeremiah Wright – Barack Obama’s wicked pastor – spoke as a prophet when he railed:

“No, no, no!  NOT God bless America!  God DAMN America!”

The Bible records that China as “the kings of the east” will launch a terrifying last-days army of 200 million soldiers according to Revelation 9:14-16 and Revelation 16:12.  And the Bible recorded that at a time when census experts point out that there were barely 200 million human beings on the entire planet.

China is stronger than America.  They are truly our masters now in every way (the same thing available here for when the first link gets scrubbed).  Because we voted for wickedness and God has turned His back on this nation that was once “one nation, under God” but is now “one nation, under sodomy.”

Russia has threatened the United States with nuclear war.  Because their president is stronger than ours and Russia has the will to fight that our president has broken.

America under the wicked king Barack Hussein Obama DARE NOT fight Russia.

We are afraid and we ought to be afraid.  Because God has turned His back on us.

Soon, the beast will come, the Antichrist, and the whole world will worship him (Revelation 13:1-8) and take his mark on their right hands or on their foreheads (Revelation 13:16-18).

I used to wonder how America could possibly collapse.  There was a time when this nation was great and mighty like nothing that had ever been before it.  We had a powerful president whom I served as my commander-in-chief.  And he defeated the only power that rivaled us for greatness.

Now I look at our TRUE debt and I look at our pathetic military weakness under Obama and I see our collapse quite easily.  We are a weak and cowardly and corrupt DISGRACE under the cancer of Obama and his worship of sodomy on an altar of sixty million babies murdered by Democrats in the abortion mills.  Compared to our current census, nearly one-in-five Americans has been MURDERED by Democrats.  The Democrat abortion war has consumed TEN TIMES the horror toll that the Nazis consumed in the Holocaust.  For every American soldier killed in the entire Vietnam War, Democrats murdered more than one thousand babies in their vicious war on children.  And we’re going to get our national butt-raping soon.

It’s only a question of which of our enemies does it.  Or maybe they will all three join forces and do it together.

I used to wonder how the world – and particularly how Americans – could literally worship the coming political beast.  And then I watched in sick horror as the crowds adored and worshiped him in a literal TEMPLE that he built to adore himself with and celebrate his adoration by a pathologically and pathetically deceived people.

I used to wonder how the mark of the beast would work.  I mean, how could a government – even a world government – make it impossible for every single human being on earth to be able to buy or sell?  Surely there was always at least BARTER available?  Now it is all-too easy to see.  First the world will abandon paper/coin currency and go to digital currency.  We’re already nearly all the way there now.  Then it will be a simple matter of implanting a chip – that previous generations would NEVER have accepted but which we are finally wicked enough to swallow given the fact that we reject God’s Word enough to swallow the perversion of homosexual sodomy – which will be all-too easy for a tyrant to seize control over.

Socialism is the government taking over the economy; the mark of the beast is the ultimate example of everything the Democrat Party has dreamed of and schemed of and worked toward for the last fifty years as the government will successfully so take over the entire economy and every aspect of it that people will literally be unable to participate in the economy in any way, any shape or any form unless they do EXACTLY what the government requires them to do.

It will be an act of wickedness, an act of worship, an act of taking the easy solution, an act of abandoning God to appease evil, to accept the mark of the beast.  But the people are almost eager to do that very thing now in our age of socialism and the worship of the State as Savior rather than a discredited, “intolerant” God.

I used to wonder how America would betray Israel when no nation has ever been closer to Israel or risen to her aid more.  The Word of God is crystal clear: the Seven Years of Divine Tribulation will begin with one specific event: the Antichrist will sign a seven-year peace covenant with the State of Israel according to Daniel 9:27.  But we already see how Barack Obama has turned his back on Israel and how Israel now fully comprehends that it cannot possibly trust the United States for her security.

Israel is in greater danger than EVER.  And Barack Hussein Obama is working to empower Israel’s GREATEST ENEMY who has REPEATEDLY stated its goal to destroy her and literally wipe her off the map.

Because of the wickedness of Barack Hussein Obama, Israel has nowhere else to turn BUT to the Antichrist.

It’s so easy to see now.

Get ready for hell, America.  You voted for it.  And you’re going to get it.  You’re going to get the sodomy you so yearn for.

Only the people God will rise up to send to deal with your obscene national wickedness won’t be using any lubricants.

 

 

 

 

Obama Promised The World, Delivered 1970 Vietnam: Highest Ranking General Murdered Since 1970 And Obama

Ah, Vietnam.  I remember it well.  The military won every single battle.  But it was LBJ’s Democrat War.  And the Democrats surprised LBJ by viciously turning on their own president at war and demanding America be defeated.

FDR and Harry Truman firebombed Dresden and Tokyo.  I mean, bad as Democrats always were with money and debt, they at least used to share the belief in God and the decency of moral values that meant if you went to war, YOU ACTUALLY FOUGHT THAT WAR TO WIN.

Those halcyon days before the Democrat Party turned into the party of pure, self-destructive evil have been gone since the 1968 Democrat National Convention when Democrats violently rioted.  You know, for peace.  Kind of the way Obama’s domestic terrorist buddy Bill Ayers planted bombs and murdered judges and police officers for peace.

There’s a term for it: “peace at any price.”  It might sound good in theory – assuming you are a complete moral idiot – but the way it works out is Jane Fonda going to Hanoi to mock American POWs and help the communists with their propaganda.  The way it works out is for John Kerry to throw away all the bogus medals he basically pinned on his own chest and dishonestly testify under oath that he personally witnessed war crimes (only to take it back when it was pointed out that if he personally witnessed war crimes and didn’t report them at the time HE HIMSELF WAS A FELLOW WAR CRIMINAL).  The way it works out is for an Obama to utter threats about “red lines” and then never do a damn thing to defend the American credibility he just put on the line only to piss away.  The way it works out is for America to bail on its treaties and its allies and allow our enemies to run roughshod over the world.  Oh, and of course to mock, demonize and trivialize the people who were right all along.  The way it works is to intervene in such a stupid, shortsighted and self-serving political way that it guarantees a mess that will haunt America for decades to come.  The way it works is for Obama to piss away all the sacrifice that we won in Iraq and pull out all our troops who would have prevented a terrorist organization even worse than al Qaeda from creating a terrorist caliphate which they have said all along would become their base to launch their next strikes at America and at Israel.  Oh, and then blame the people who warned you about the stupidity of what you were doing from the start.  The way it works out is for a president to invite thugs and tyrants to his stupid events so he can reward thuggery and tyranny.  As even the liberal Doyle McManus of the liberal Los Angeles Times pointed out.

Peace at any price means demonizing our ally Israel and taking the side of the terrorist organization Hamas which deliberately employed a strategy of forcing Israel to kill Arab civilians by digging tunnels under hospitals, mosques, schools and homes and urging people to remain to die as martyrs rather than leave before attacks that Israel warned were coming.

ISIS has run roughshod over Syria, where Obama dithered and failed, over Iraq, which Obama pissed away.  And now it is running roughshod over Lebanon as it metastasizes.

The world is not only more unstable under Obama than it has ever been under Obama’s presidency; it is more unstable than it has ever been throughout Obama’s entire LIFETIME.

This radical community organizer has failed America.  He has failed the world.  He has failed the human race.

Peace at any price is evil.  Democrats are evil.  Their way – like the way of Hamas whose side they take – is the way of suicide.

As a conservative – which means as someone who does NOT urinate and defecate on the Holy Bible – I understand the meaning of the words “This will happen because these evil prophets deceive my people by saying, ‘All is peaceful’ when there is no peace at all! It’s as if the people have built a flimsy wall, and these prophets are trying to reinforce it by covering it with whitewash!”

There is a God.  Democrats have shaken their fist at Him – and forced America to shake a nation that had until Obama been a “nation under God” to shake its now leftist-collectivist fist at God.  As I wrote, Obama has so removed America from God’s protection it is beyond unreal.  The Democrat Party is the official Party of the wrath of God.

And when a nation falls under the wrath of God it gets to repeat all of its very worst failures as it spirals down the toilet ball toward its own destruction.

And so Afghanistan becomes Vietnam, Party Deux.

U.S. officials identified the general killed in Afghanistan on Tuesday as Maj. Gen. Harold J. Greene, who became the highest-ranking U.S. military officer killed in combat since 1970.

Greene, who was on his first deployment to a war zone, was involved in preparing Afghan forces for the time when U.S.-coalition troops leave at the end of this year. An engineer by training, he was the deputy commanding general, Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan.

Pentagon spokesman Rear Adm. John Kirby said earlier that the assailant fired into a group of international soldiers at the Marshal Fahim National Defense University at Camp Qargha, a base west of Kabul, and was subsequently killed.

Another 15 people, roughly half of them Americans, were wounded. Among the wounded were a German brigadier general, two Afghan generals and an Afghan officer, whose rank the Afghan Defense Ministry did not provide.

The attack occurred during a site visit to the university by coalition members.

Ministry spokesman Gen. Mohammad Zahir Azimi said a “terrorist in an army uniform” opened fire on both local and international troops.

The Qargha shooting comes as so-called “insider attacks” —  incidents in which Afghan security turn on their NATO partners — largely dropped last year. In 2013, there were 16 deaths in 10 separate attacks. In 2012, such attacks killed 53 coalition troops in 38 separate attacks.

The Army’s top soldier, Gen. Ray Odierno, issued a statement Tuesday evening saying the Army’s thoughts and prayers were with Greene’s family as well as the families of those injured in the attack.

In a 34-year career that began at Fort Polk, La., Greene, a native of upstate New York, earned a reputation as an inspiring leader with a sense of humility. He had been in Afghanistan since January.

At the time of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks Greene was serving at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and when the U.S. invaded Iraq in March 2003 he was a student at the Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, at the rank of lieutenant colonel.

Greene flourished in the less glamorous side of the Army that develops, tests, builds and supplies soldiers with equipment and technology. That is a particularly difficult job during wartime, since unconventional or unanticipated battlefield challenges like roadside bombs in Iraq and Afghanistan, call for urgent improvements in equipment.

In 2009-2011, for example, he served as deputy commanding general of the Army’s Research, Development and Engineering Command and senior commander of the Natick Soldier System Center at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Aberdeen, Maryland. During that tour of duty he gained the rank of brigadier general, and at his promotion ceremony in December 2009 he was lauded for his leadership skills and ability to inspire those around him.

Lt. Gen. Stephen Speakes applauded Greene for a “sense of self, a sense of humility” and an exemplary work ethic, according to an account of the promotion ceremony published by the Times Union of Albany, N.Y., which called Greene an Albany native.

“In every job I had we got things done that I think made our Army better, and it was done by other people,” Greene was quoted as saying. “All I did was try to pull people in the right direction and they went out and did great things.”

Greene earned a bachelor of science degree in materials engineering and a master’s degree in industrial engineering, both from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y. He later studied at the University of Southern California and also attended the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College at Leavenworth, Kansas.

In 2010, he spoke at the opening of the Social Cognitive Networks Academic Research Center, a research facility at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with the mission of improving the Army’s understanding of social, information and communication networks, according to the Army’s account of the event.

“We’re in a fight now with an enemy that’s a little bit different and uses different techniques … and networks are a key part of that,” Greene said.

He said finding patterns in the tactics of insurgents was difficult because of the way networks evolve and otherwise change. So the goal was to bring to light the patterns and determine how to anticipate and influence the actions of insurgents.

“The enemy is every bit as good as we are at using that network to our detriment so this is essential work, this is about defending our country,” Greene said. “You must know that there is a direct application on the battlefield and we’re using it today, but we don’t really understand it yet so this is a critical element.”

His awards include the Legion of Merit, the Distinguished Service Medal, a Meritorious Service Award and an Army Commendation Medal.

(TRNS) – The same day that a U.S. Army general was shot and killed by what the Pentagon believes to be an Afghan soldier, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest told reporters Tuesday that the United States has made “tremendous progress” in bolstering the security situation in Afghanistan.

“There is no question that significant progress has been made in disrupting that terror network [Al-Qaeda] on the ground in Afghanistan,” Earnest told reporters during his daily White House press briefing. ”There is no doubt that the policy and strategy that this President put in place has… ensured that we are mitigating that risk posed to Americans both here in the United States but also around the globe.”

While Earnest said the attack on American military personnel in Afghanistan is “traumatic and tragic,” he stressed ”there is no doubt that over the last 12 years that threat has been significantly degraded.”

Earnest highlighted that the United States’ mission in Afghanistan over the last 12 years has been focused on “disrupting, dismantling and defeating the Al-Qaeda leadership” by ensuring that the Afghani government possesses “the support and resources necessary to provide for their own security.”

As a result of this mission, Earnest stated “we have seen a decline in the casualty rate of American personnel [in Afghanistan].”

Rep. Ed. Royce (R-Calif.), head of House Committee on Foreign Affairs, released a statement about the attacks, acknowledging that “in recent years, there has been some progress lessening these ‘green-on-blue’ attacks. But obviously not enough, as made clear by today’s tragedy.”

Earnest directed all questions concerning the rank of the general and the specifics surrounding the attacks to the Department of Defense, which is currently undergoing investigations.

“Peace, peace, when there IS no peace.”  And everyone who isn’t an abject fool knows it:

“They offer superficial treatments for My people’s mortal wound. They give assurances of peace when there is no peace.”

Do you know what I call this passage in Jeremiah 6:14 and the above passage I quoted from Ezekiel 13:10?  Barack Hussein Obama’s foreign policy.  Which is in unprecedented shambles while Obama golfs.  And which we’re assured by Obama’s fools that we should be proud of as our nation begins to circle the drain of history.

Obama’s foreign policy is to give continual assurances of peace when there is no peace, to offer superficial treatments for our national mortal wound, to constantly deceive and to build flimsy walls and reinforce those flimsy walls by covering them over with rhetorical whitewash.

Obama’s personal response to the most senior general killed since 1970 was pathetic personal indifference.  Obama didn’t bother to even mention it.  It’s completely irrelevant to our Community Agitator-in-Chief.

Three-quarters of all Americans killed in Afghanistan occurred during the time of Obama and his failed policy with his same “timetable for withdrawal” that doomed America to defeat in Iraq.  So if the Obama White House were actually honest in their metric about “a decline in the casualty rate of American personnel” being a measure of victory, then “victory” occurred with George W. Bush as president.

Just as VICTORY occurred with George W. Bush as president in Iraq when he DEFEATED the terrorists and left an Iraq so safe and so stable behind that Obama and Biden boasted about it and took credit for the safety and stability.

What the Taliban in Afghanistan are doing is biding their time because a depraved FOOL told them precisely when America was cutting and running.  And they knew that they could begin to attack us as we were pulling out and make it – rightly – appear that they were DRIVING us out.  And then they will re-create their caliphate that they used as their base to attack America on 9/11 just as ISIS has already done in Iraq thanks to the exact same failed Obama policy of withdrawal.

America is too young to die.  But die it will just the same.  Because we VOTED to die when we voted first to stupidly elect and then even more stupidly to re-elect the worst president in the entire history of the republic.

America is nowhere mentioned in Bible prophecy, which was noted by the same people who noted in the 1830s and even EARLIER that Israel would have to be regathered as a nation after 2000 years of extinction and by the same people who noted that Russia as Gog of Magog and China and the powers of Asia as leading the kings of the east would have to become great powers when they were basically giant, powerless wastelands.  The reason they predicted these things that all came to pass is because they trusted their Bibles literally and because the Bible really is the literal Word of God.

This is a nation – America, I’m talking to YOU – that is going to go down and go down hard in an agony of death throes that will never have been seen in all of history.

And I now believe I understand precisely how it will happen – and yes, it will be entirely because of none other than the coming Antichrist’s most useful idiot, Barack Hussein Obama.  Obama will be to blame for the collapse of America and the coming Tribulation and the rise of Antichrist for three reasons:

1) America’s now virtually complete abandonment of the nation of Israel under Obama: Daniel chapter 9 states that the Tribulation will officially begin when Israel signs a seven-year covenant with the Antichrist (see also here for more detail).  Now that America – entirely because of the Fool-in-Chief and his evil Democrat Party – has turned its collectivist back on Israel, where else will Israel have to turn but to Antichrist???

Just remember, America: when the Tribulation comes and it becomes time for you to take the mark of the beast in order to buy or sell – because Antichrist WILL be the ultimate statist who will assume total socialist power over the economy – YOU VOTED FOR IT TWICE.

2) America’s cancerous, catastrophic debt: Up until 2012, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) published something called the “Alternative Fiscal Scenario” which provided our true state of indebtedness.  By that measure, in 2012, our actual debt was measured at $222 TRILLION and was rising at a staggering rate of $11 trillion each year.  The demon-possessed Obama response was to cut that measurement out of the CBO’s budget, such that no report, no reporting, no problems.

Democrats have no love for the United States of America; they cynically exploit our national security, our border, our economy, as engines of their ideology.  I believe that they hate America because it has always been “a nation under God” as Lincoln described it, a nation founded upon and established by Judeo-Christian principles.  And Democrats rabidly hate God and Christ.  Maybe you argue differently.  But one thing is for sure: modern Democrats dismiss the incredible damage that they are doing to this country.  On their view of government as replacing God, America is something that will be eternal.  They actually believe that they can spend and spend and spend and when we broke all they have to do is add zeroes to the Federal Reserve computer and voila we will have all the money we need.

That’s the naïve Democrats, of course.  The cynical Democrats – Obama’s wing – believe with Professors Cloward and Piven that they can bankrupt and economically collapse America by imploding the nation with debt by overwhelming our social support systems.

And America will never rise again other than as what the Antichrist degenerates it into.

3) and this will be the final card that Obama has removed to complete the crash of the house of cards that America has become into agonizing death: the gutting of American military power and international prestige.

Obama has been claiming – and maniacally continues to claim in spite of all massive evidence to the contrary – that he has broken the back of al Qaeda and terrorism has been defeated.  It doesn’t matter if this claim – like so many other claims and promises that Obama has made – come directly from the fanged, drooling lips of Lucifer himself.  Obama cynically exploited his claim to GUT America’s military strength.  After all, he was won victory.  The war is over.  We don’t need a strong military.  To wit, we are gutting our military to pre-World War II levels under Obama.  With Obama having already gutted American military combat readiness to a degree that will shock any decent American PRIOR to his gutting the Army to pre-World War II levels.

What has been Obama’s response in crisis after crisis after crisis as our enemies brutally seize the territory of our allies and murder Christians and Jews all over the world?  NOTHING.  ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Under Obama, our enemies no longer fear us whatsoever and our allies no longer trust us or need us whatsoever.  America is irrelevant.

And an irrelevant America can be allowed – for the first time since our founding – to collapse.

Because we are now too weak and too irrelevant to matter, because of our massive debt and insane and frankly wicked bankrupt spending with not merely billions but TRILLIONS of dollars that we do not have, and because God has turned His back on America as America has turned its collectivist back on God and now on Israel, we are going DOWN.

And the trigger that sends America into the agonizing plunge to horrifying death and oblivion will be our status as the world’s reserve currency.

Right now, the U.S. dollar is “the reserve currency of the planet, which means that all commodities such as oil, etc. are purchased in the currency of U.S. dollars.  That status has allowed us to do things with our currency that no other nation has EVER been allowed to do in ALL of human history.  We – and by “we” I primarily mean wicked, satanic Democrats – have exploited that with spending that is quite literally insane and evil.

And the world is RIGHT for hating us as we have given ourselves a way of life that the rest of the planet pays for.  It’s classic Democrat: we have redistributed the wealth (to ourselves).  Democrats are the kind of cynical, dishonest hypocrites who decry as evil the very thing they do AS THEY ARE DOING IT.   So they talk about the poor of the world when they don’t give one tiny drop of piss for the poor.

Obama’s morally insane economic policies forced the Federal Reserve’s fiscally insane policies.  The so-called “Arab Spring” – so euphemistically titled because pathologically stupid and wicked Democrats and liberal journalists idiotically believed it was a GOOD thing – was the result of the devaluation of the U.S. dollar that was the basis of all the Arab countries that sold oil.  Obama’s reckless and immoral policies have caused the Federal Reserve to essentially print and create money out of thin air beyond anything ever seen in the entire history of the human race.  And the result in the Middle East was their money becoming increasingly worthless and subsequent FOOD RIOTS.

Five of the next largest economies – the so-called “BRICS” of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa – ALL want the U.S. role as reserve currency to be ended.  And don’t think our former ally Germany will oppose that move.

As a result of these three above factors, the United States will lose its status as reserve currency.  And we will completely economically collapse overnight.

It will be Obama’s fault, just as the complete military disgrace and failure if first Iraq and now Afghanistan was Obama’s fault.  And no one will be happier than Obama when America collapses.  Because Obama will have “fundamentally transformed America” just as he promised (as the ONLY promise this evil man will have kept).

How The United States Of America Will Catastrophically Financially Implode SOON

China calls for dollar to be replaced as global reserve currency
Upset that the U.S. fiscal impasse threatens to trigger a default that would roil financial markets worldwide, Beijing suggests ‘building a de-Americanized world.’

WASHINGTON — Five years after the U.S. financial crisis helped cause a deep global recession, foreign leaders are worried that history is going to repeat itself.

The fiscal impasse that has partially shut the federal government now threatens to trigger a U.S. default that would roil financial markets worldwide, leading an agitated China to suggest replacing the dollar as the international reserve currency.

“As U.S. politicians of both political parties are still shuffling back and forth between the White House and the Capitol Hill without striking a viable deal to bring normality to the body politic they brag about, it is perhaps a good time for the befuddled world to start considering building a de-Americanized world,” China’s official state-run news agency, Xinhua, said in an English-language commentary Sunday.

There is no viable alternative to the dollar as the centerpiece of the global financial system, and there probably won’t be for the foreseeable future, experts said.

But Washington’s debt limit standoff — coming on the heels of similar brinkmanship in 2011 — could accelerate efforts to find an alternative.

“The U.S. remains the core of the global financial system at this point,” said Nicolas Veron, a senior fellow at Bruegel, a think tank in Brussels. “But the sort of thing happening in the U.S. might move people toward a system less reliant on the U.S.”

China echoed calls from world financial officials urging an end to what it called the “pernicious impasse” in the U.S. over funding the government and raising the $16.7-trillion debt limit.

The Treasury Department has said the debt limit must be raised by Thursday or it will run out of borrowing authority. That would leave it dependent on just cash on hand and incoming revenue to pay the federal government’s bills. Given the world financial system’s dependence on the dollar, a default on payments of interest or principal on U.S. Treasury bonds would be catastrophic for the global economy, analysts said.

Treasury bonds and other dollar-based investments are used as the main form of collateral worldwide, so questions about their security would cause more problems than the financial system failures in fall 2008, said Benjamin J. Cohen, an international political economy professor at UC Santa Barbara.

“It would make the Lehman Bros. episode look like a garden party by comparison,” Cohen said.

The U.S. debt limit standoff was the main topic at the recent meetings in Washington of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

Global finance ministers are worried that the uncertainty surrounding a U.S. default “would mean massive disruption the world over, and we would be at risk of tipping yet again into a recession,” Christine Lagarde, head of the IMF, told NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Most countries hold their foreign exchange reserves in U.S. dollars because the currency is viewed as the world’s most stable.

“The very fact that more than 60% of central banks’ reserves are in dollars gives them every reason to be concerned,” Barry Eichengreen, a professor of economics and political science at UC Berkeley and a former senior policy advisor at the IMF, said of foreign governments. “If the bank in which you held 60% of your savings was threatening to default, you’d be concerned too.”

U.S. financial markets rebounded Monday amid optimistic reports from Capitol Hill about negotiations between Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) to end the standoff.

China is the largest foreign holder of U.S. debt, with about $1.3 trillion in Treasury bonds, and probably more in other dollar-denominated investments. So the Beijing government is worried about the effect of a U.S. failure to raise the debt limit on those holdings.

The Xinhua editorial took swipes at the U.S. for claiming “the moral high ground” while “covertly doing things that are as audacious as torturing prisoners of war, slaying civilians in drone attacks, and spying on world leaders.”

Although it slammed the U.S. for the Iraq war and military activity around the world, the article focused much of its fire on the U.S. role in the global economy, saying “the world is still crawling its way out of an economic disaster thanks to the voracious Wall Street elites.”

“Most recently, the cyclical stagnation in Washington for a viable bipartisan solution over a federal budget and an approval for raising debt ceiling has again left many nations’ tremendous dollar assets in jeopardy and the international community highly agonized,” Xinhua said.

The editorial called for a “a new world order” in which “all nations, big or small, poor or rich, can have their key interests respected and protected on an equal footing.”

That new order should start with respect for the sovereignty of other nations, the editorial said. It also should include major financial reforms, such as allowing developing and emerging economies to have more say in the operations of the IMF and the World Bank.

China has been pushing since at least 2009 for the dollar to be replaced as the world’s reserve currency. The nation has not only called for a new international currency to be developed but also has been taking steps to make its currency, the yuan, more acceptable as a potential alternative.

“They never lose an opportunity to take advantage of embarrassing behavior by the United States,” Cohen said. China made similar calls in 2011, when a debt limit standoff was resolved at the last minute.

But the Chinese currency and its financial system are not ready to be the world’s reserve currency, experts said. Even the euro and Japanese yen aren’t prepared to do that because they lack the liquidity of the dollar.

Still, the latest Washington crisis could push the world to seek ways to diversify the financial system away from its dependence on the dollar, Cohen said.

“The only thing that can hurt the dollar these days is political dysfunction in Washington. We’re shooting ourselves in the foot,” he said. “The more we play these games in Washington, the less confidence people will have in the dollar and the more incentive people will have to do this diversification.”

The first thing I couldn’t help but notice is how communist China’s demagoguery sounds almost exactly like Obama’s demagoguery.  They’re both talking down America hoping that the worst will happen to this country because each (i.e, China and Obama) believes their political goals will be attained through America’s demise.  But moving on…

I don’t know whether the Los Angeles Times – which is staffed by liberal ideologue propagandists as opposed to actual “journalists” is simply being incompetent in this story or being the propagandists that they are (i.e., the backstory is that the “default” is the Republicans’ fault, and ergo sum the global meltdown over the “default” will be all the Republicans’ fault, too).  But here’s a fact that kind of pees all over some of the main assertions in this story:

From November 24, 2010 (the money quote is boldfaced at the end):

China and Russia have agreed to allow their currencies to trade against each other in spot inter-bank markets.

The motive is to promote the bilateral trade between China and Russia, facilitate the cross-border trade settlement of [the yuan], and meet the needs of economic entities to reduce the conversion cost, according to Chinese officials.

This latest move — a continuation in a series of efforts by both countries to move away from  U.S. dollar usage in international trade — further threatens the dollar’s reserve currency status.

The dollar has this status because it is currently the currency of international trade.

For example, when Malaysia and Germany exchange goods, the transaction is often denominated in dollars.  In particular, oil — something that all modern economies need — is denominated in U.S. dollars, so the currency is almost as indispensable as oil itself.

The dollar reserve currency status allows the U.S. to run up high deficits and have its debt be denominated in the U.S. dollar, which in turn enables it to print unlimited dollars and inflate its way out of debt. America, understandably, wants to protect these privileges. […]

Meanwhile, China and Russia are gradually revolting against the U.S. dollar. This latest move to shift bilateral trade away from it is significant in itself because China-Russian trade — previously denominated in dollars — is currently around $40 billion per year. For Russia, trade with China is larger than trade with the U.S.

Moreover, as this policy extends to Russian exports of oil and natural gas to China, it threatens the global petro-currency status of the U.S. dollar.

According to the International Energy Agency, China is already the largest consumer of energy,  although the U.S. is still the largest consumer of oil. However, China, now the largest automobile market in the world, is expected to rapidly increase oil consumption.

Russia is already the second biggest oil exporter and the biggest natural gas exporter in the world.

In other words, the growing importance of Russia and China in the global energy picture — and their phasing out of dollar usage for trading energy commodities — would marginalize the status of the dollar.

Russian ambitions against the dollar for energy exports go back to 2006. That year, former President Vladimir Putin made plans to set up a ruble-denominated oil and natural gas stock exchange in Russia.

So, in fact and contrary to the Los Angeles Times “reporting,” the movement away from the U.S. dollar as the reserve currency in fact PREDATES the financial crisis – and goes back to at least 2006 (I would argue it goes back even further than that, but I’ve proven my point: the financial crisis happened in late 2008).  So the LA Times is simply wrong in its thesis that the debt ceiling issue – which they over and over again hype as a “default” – is just plain bogus.

When we consider that Barack Obama demonized George Bush and ostentatiously voted against his debt ceiling (and didn’t bother to even show up and vote when the debt ceiling was raised other times during the Bush years – such that HE NEVER DID VOTE FOR A BUSH DEBT CEILING INCREASE other than when he voted for TARP – you also see the deceitful and dishonest propaganda that is going on.  It’s always “that was then” with these people; it’s always “It’s only fascist when THEY do what we did” with them.  Such as the fact that Obama did a press conference demonizing the GOP for not voting for his debt ceiling hike without ever bothering to so much as mention the fact that Obama did the exact same damn thing and how could the Republicans be anything but just as evil as the man who was now demonizing them???

Nor will that same blatantly dishonest media point out that Democrats shut down the government over the debt ceiling EIGHT TIMES during the Reagan presidency.  Because that would prove the lie to Obama’s “this has never happened before” and “no party has ever been this bent on destroying America” load of garbage.

Nor will they point out that it has largely – if not exclusively – been OBAMA who has fearmongered the debt ceiling rather than the Republicans.

The dishonesty of the mainstream media is simply breathtaking.

Having said that, let’s continue and examine this “default.”  Because it, too, is just a lie of propaganda:

Black’s law dictionary has this to say about “default”: The omission or failure to fulfill a duty, observe a promise, discharge an obligation, or perform an agreement [or observe a promise or discharge an obligation (e.g. to pay interest or principal on a debt when due ].

Come October 17 if our dysfunctional Washington hacks do not raise our debt ceiling, ominous forecasting of imminent default on our $17 trillion burden pound the airwaves. Prevarications foisted by the progressive press-corps regarding the United States becoming delinquent on its Treasury debt are as preposterous as they are disingenuous.  Whether premeditated lying or, equally likely, out of a stark darkness of matters economic the result is the usual fear mongering we have come to expect from their rumor mills.

Inconvenient as they may be, some facts are in order. The fiscal 2013 debt service for the twelve months ending September 30 will be somewhere around $420 billion. (Per the Bureau of Fiscal Service the actual figure of 11 months through August was just under $396 billion). IRS revenues for the calendar 2012 tax year will probably be around $2.3 trillion. That equates to over a five and a half times debt service coverage. So having enough money is not even close to the issue. There has been some discussion of what some are naming “prioritization of payments”.

Democrats are truly evil to fearmonger a “default” to falsely demonize and slander their opponents at the expense of the U.S. economy.  And Barack Obama is the most recklessly irresponsible president in the entirety of American history to join them in their lies.

To wit, we could easily pay our debt and NOT default.  And we could do that for not months but for years to come, if necessary.

If that isn’t enough, Republicans have already done the leg work to prevent any kind of “default”:

Sen. Pat Toomey and more than 30 Senate colleagues will introduce the “Ensuring the Full Faith and Credit of the United States and Protecting America’s Soldiers and Seniors Act.”

The bill is meant to offer a stop-gap if Congress refuses to raise the debt ceiling and the Treasury Department thus falls short of having enough cash to pay all the government’s bills in full and on time.

Toomey’s proposal would require that revenue going to Treasury first be used to pay interest on U.S. debt, Social Security benefits and active-duty military pay.

If there’s not enough revenue available to cover those payments when they’re due, the bill would also give limited authority to Treasury to raise the debt ceiling just enough to borrow the difference between revenue on hand and what’s owed on the priority payments.

I’ve pointed out the fact: if there IS a “default,” it will be because Barack Hussein refused to allow the Treasury to make the interest payment that the United States could in fact make.  He has already demonstrated that he is a genuinely evil man who is trying to make the political impasse as harsh and as painful as he possibly can in order to falsely demonize Republicans.

There is one and only one genuine fact in the Los Angeles Times piece: that of China’s demand that the United States be replaced as the reserve currency of planet earth.

That WILL happen soon.  Because Democrats WILL NEVER REIGN IN THEIR DEMONIC SPENDING.

The true debt of the United States is not the “paltry” $17 trillion that we keep hearing about; it is actually well WELL over $222 TRILLION.  Our actual debt, our “fiscal gap” between our debts and our ability to actually pay for all the crap Democrats keep imposing on America, is going up about one trillion dollars every single MONTH.  Because politicians are liars who paper over debts with more debts and then cover those debts up with still more debts.

Democrats are the worst addicts who ever existed.  Heroin, coke, crank, meth, crack addicts got NOTHIN’ on Democrats.  Because Democrats are addicted to money and the power that their money buys them – and they are addicted to it TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS AT A TIME.

The only reason Democrats can keep this insane game of insane spending going is because America is the world’s reserve currency.  The fact that all commodities such as oil are bought and sold in U.S. dollars has given us an unprecedented ability to basically just print money and keep escaping the consequences.

We have been just plain flat-out DEPRAVED in our spending.

As an example, do you know what triggered to insanely-titled-by liberals “Arab Spring” in which Arab regimes fell to be replaced again and again by terrorist-sponsored governments?  Food riots induced by Obama’s Fed as they kept printing more and more money and basically just adding more and more zeroes to the Federal Reserve computers.  As we printed more money, the Arab states that depended on the stability of the dollar saw massive inflation (because THEY can’t print more dollars their dollars became worth less = worthless).

Well, as Obama’s reverend once said, the chickens are about to come home to roost.  And they will roost on a collapsed, doomed, dead former United States of America.  And very soon.

One day, soon, the world will have had enough.  One day, soon, our stint as being the reserve currency and maximally exploiting that status with reckless and immoral spending that we can’t possibly afford will be ended FOR us.

And China will step in and take ownership.  And kick you and our family out of your home in the cold if you can’t pay their “damned American imperialist” rent surcharge.

Our time is coming.  We’ll get ours.  We’ll get what we deserve as a nation for being wicked enough to elect and then re-elect Obama: we’ll get Dodo bird extinction just like we deserve.

The United States is nowhere mentioned in Bible prophecy; that’s because America will have collapsed and simply be irrelevant as we enter these last days just before the beast of the Book of Revelation comes to impose his mark and doom the world to suffering and hell.

Why I’m Getting Out Of Politics After This Election And What I Plan To Do With This Blog Beginning On November 7

One way or another, I am going to get out of day-to-day political blogging after this election.

I’ve said it before.  All the way back on April 29, 2009, I said to someone in replying to a comment:

I never intended to remain in political blogging this long.  I thought I’d blog through the election, do my best to prevent this country from choosing this terrible man, and stop.

But it’s just been one outrage piled on top of another – so many you literally can’t cover them all.  And I demand that there be a record of these outrages.

In April of this year, I wrote:

Whether Obama wins or whether Romney wins, I’m getting out of politics after this election. I’ll continue to blog, but I’ll be done with politics.

If Obama wins, frankly Obama’s God damn America will deserve whatever hell it descends into. I will have done the best I could do trying to warn people that Obama is leading us to hell, and if he gets re-elected I will be done with warnings. I’ll warn you while you’re pouring gasoline on yourself; I’ll warn you when you strike a match; but when you set yourself on fire you’re on your own. If Romney wins, I’m frankly just not going to carry water for him. I’ll vote for him as the lesser of two evils, but he’s not exactly the guy I’m going to spend the next four years carrying water for.

So I hope no one thinks that this announcement implies that I think Obama’s going to win and can’t face liberals anymore and blah, blah, blah.

Basically, my reasoning is this: if Obama is reelected, I did everything I could to try to warn you fools.  And if a nation is foolish enough to reelect a president with the record of failure that Barack Obama has now accumulated, well, that is a nation that is immune to wisdom or warning and my conscience is clean as I shake the dust of the coming economic implosion off my feet and ride off into the sunset.  On the other hand, if Mitt Romney is elected, well, his entire history (contrary to liberals’ demonization of him) is that of a moderate RINO and while he’s got the singular virtue of being “far better than Obama,” he’s not someone I want to devote thousands of hours carrying water for.  If Sarah Palin were president, if Herman Cain were president, well, maybe I’d buckle the armor back on and keep fighting for them.

There is a personal cost for an evangelical Christian conservative to dive into political blogging.  Politics is by its very nature an angry place.  It very quickly becomes mud wrestling.  And it was simply never a place that I wanted to spend my life fighting in.  I certainly don’t want to keep dealing with fools and I certainly don’t want to keep screaming at people every day.

What got me into blogging to begin with?  I saw those Jeremiah Wright sermon tapes – “No, no, no!  NOT God bless America!  God DAMN America!” – and I knew that Barack Obama was truly an evil man to have spent 23 years of his life in that Marxist, racist, anti-American hellhole and then climbing out of that toxic nest of demons and dusting himself off only when it became convenient to his political charade.  I had a vision of America under the leadership of this evil man; and sadly enough it looked very much like what I now see all around me today.  In some ways it’s not as terrible as I feared it would be, and in other ways it’s five times worse than I feared it would be.

I got into political blogging with the intent of 1) preserving a record of what Obama did to America, because the mainstream media refuses to do it and quickly purges the few things they DO print; 2) to try to explain both liberalism and conservatism so that people can see why the former is depraved and the latter is the best worldview for a moral and free people; and 3) to provide arguments and document the facts as I present them to try to help those who have their own arguments with their own circles of influence.

Let me just say that the future does not look bright for America, even if Romney wins.  Yes, we have a $16 trillion debt, and yes, Obama has piled on $6 trillion of that debt in only four years after the hypocrite demonized Bush for adding $4 trillion over eight years.  But that isn’t anything close to our real debt.  Our real debt is over $222 trillion and skyrocketing.

But even THAT isn’t our real debt, because our real debt is that more-than-$222 trillion-and-skyrocketing figure PLUS the debt of our states.  California alone has an unfunded liberal union pension gap of $500 billion.  And Illinois alone has an unfunded liberal union pension gap of $210 billion.  And we are seeing deadbeat states that cannot pay their debts and we are seeing cities going bankrupt.

Our real debt would be impossible to estimate even if all the liberal politicians who have bankrupted their jurisdictions at every level would honestly account for what they did.  And rest assured they never will until after it’s too late.

The Bible tells us in Revelation chapter six that the beast, the Antichrist, is coming.  We find that a global economic collapse is coming; we find that in the midst of this ghastly global landscape there will be famine and plagues and war and mass death.  And what we literally see is this big government false messiah called “the beast” riding in on a white horse to save the day.  And the world will literally worship him for his “deliverance” as he steps in with one plan of action after another.  They will so worship him that they will allow him to take over the world political system and the economic activity of every single human being on earth.

It is amazing how badly things are going in America and how little reporting is being done on how badly things are going.  The labor participation rate has plummeted every single year under Obama and is now at a more than 31-year low (i.e., worse than it EVER was under Bush).  In fact, if we measured unemployment by the labor participation rate that Bush handed off to Obama, our unemployment rate would be 11.6% now rather than dropping to 8.1% because we refuse to measure the millions of discouraged workers who have abandoned hope of finding a job.  For every job Obama “adds,” there are FOUR workers who drop out of the workforce.  There are 4 million fewer jobs than there were when Obama took office, in spite of the fact that 4 million Americans turn 18 and thus “age in” to the work force every single year.  Last year new start-up businesses were at the lowest level EVER measured in the 25-year history of recording that statistic; this year new start-up businesses plunged by another 24%.  And the median household income has plunged 8.2% under Obama’s failed leadership.  And, amazingly, household incomes have dropped TWICE as much under Obama as they did during the 2008 recession, just to document what a horrible job Obama has done since.  And with statistics such as the 13.2% plunge in durable goods in one month – which is the biggest drop since January 2009 – there is no reason to think things are going to get better under Obama’s policies.

If Obama is reelected, we are going to go on a ride to hell as a nation:

Only there will be no going back up this time.

And yes, if you want to give the above picture a racial element, it is also true that blacks and Hispanics and college graduates and young people and women and those groups that have most supported Obama have fared the WORST under his failed policies.  It’s almost as if Obama is saying, “I hurt you bad these last four years; vote for me again and I will finish you off and kill you dead in my next four years.”  And his supporters are saying, “Thank you, messiah!  It’s what we deserve!”

If the media fairly and accurately reported the truth, Obama wouldn’t have a chance.  But our media has descended into shocking levels of dishonest propaganda.  And bad people always choose to believe lies.  And if there are more bad people than good people now in America, we will vote for hell and we will get the hell that we voted for once and for all this time.

Things are also going terribly for Europe.  If America goes, Europe goes, and vice versa.

And if you look at China, things aren’t going nearly as well (see also here) as the false facade that they – like the Obama media – have plastered over their “news” coverage.  And if China goes down hill, well, whose going to keep buying our increasingly worthless debt???

This world has chosen socialism; and socialism is a cancer.  It is a cancer on morality and it is a cancer on economic health.  When people say as a nation that they deserve other people’s money and that they are willing to attack job creators to rob them, you get fewer and fewer jobs and all that really gets “redistributed” is pain and misery.

So the beast is coming.  As I’ve said over and over and over again on this blog.

If Obama is president on January 20, 2013, we’re going to get the beast in short order; if Romney is president, we may have a few more years as he slows (but does not stop) the collapse.

Mitt Romney may well win.  But what has he shown in his past that indicates that he will stand up and fight for the radical changes this nation will need to survive?  Obviously, I hope I’m wrong in my estimation of Romney; I hope that he wins and that his is the “second Reagan presidency” we so desperately need.  And as I’ve said before I would crawl out of my death-bed across broken glass to vote for Mitt Romney and vote OUT Obama.

America could very well collapse in the next few years.  When it happens it will happen fast; “economic experts” will assure the people on the mainstream media that everything will be fine the evening before, and then the people will wake up to find out that their country has literally collapsed under their feet while they slept.  But when I consider the structural, fiscal, economic realities facing America, I simply cannot understand how it could possibly survive for 20 years given our pathological refusal to rise up and solve our problems in the powerful manner that we need in order to have any chance at long-term national survival.

I believe that a true conservative president and a true conservative Congress could stop the collapse by having the courage to ignore the media lies and doing what is necessary to save America.  But I also believe that American people are now past the point where they are willing to do the right thing even to save their own lives.  Instead, we’ll keep voting ourselves more benefits until we reach the collapse-stage that Europe is in, and then we’ll riot over the necessary austerity measures that would take away some of our benefits.  Until the depression when nation after nation collapses into total anarchy as Revelation chapter 6 describes and the beast comes riding in.

When the beast takes over the government, he will be a man who seems to have all the answers.  His policies will seem to take the world back from the brink that failed leaders like Obama brought us to.  But in just a few years, the Antichrist will go from promising a Utopia to delivering a literal hell on earth.  And when the REAL Messiah, Jesus Christ, returns as King of kings and as Lord of lords as the Bible describes, it will be to prevent the planet from literally destroying itself.

That’s the direction I will be taking this blog in.  While I will continue to interact with current political events, it will largely be as part of an effort to inform readers about the message of Bible prophecy and how the events we keep seeing are bringing the world closer and closer to the last days scenario so accurately foretold in Scripture.  In addition to that, I will also simply be returning more to my Christian theology roots and writing about the faith.

As a student and teacher of Bible prophecy, I DO believe in what is frequently derided as “newspaper prophecy.”  That is, I believe that when the events described in Bible prophecy are fulfilled, they will be fulfilled in a way that a person at the time would read in a good newspaper.  The thing is, if you don’t understand the Bible, and economics, and politics, and military issues, you will most likely use the wrong newspaper and thus get your understanding of prophecy wrong.  As a simple illustration of what I’m trying to convey here, consider that many people believed during World War I and World War II that they were living in the last days when (as we obviously know now) they weren’t.  On the one hand, it was true that somebody during those periods could have read their Bible and read their newspapers, and seen things in their newspapers that very much seemed to be described in their Bibles.  But on the other hand, there was one singularly critical event that had not yet happened – the rebirth of the state of Israel as prophesied in Ezekiel 37 – that should have told believers that, no, they were not yet in the last days.  The Tribulation described in Revelation begins with the nation of Israel signing a 7-Year peace covenant with the Antichrist.  And since Israel did not yet exist during World War I or World War II, a biblically-understanding Christian could know that as bad as things were, we were not yet in the last days.  You need to be able to understand your Bible and match it to the what is going on in the world to accurately understand where we are in Bible prophecy.

At the same time, you need to be able to understand what is going on in the world and then match it to the Bible to understand where we are in Bible prophecy, as well.  For example, Christian scholar Dr. Grant Jeffrey wrote a book titled, Final Warning: Economic Collapse and the Coming World Government.  Chapter 14 of that book was titled, “The Coming Economic Collapse.”  And writing back in 1995, the man just nailed the 2008 collapse – which is by no means finished with us.  He understood that the dangerous derivatives market and what we were doing with mortgages could trigger a massive collapse just as occurred 13 years later and which is still undermining the economy today (unless you think we’re free and clear and there’s nothing but blue economic skies now).

The world is now a house of cards that could collapse at any time more than it has ever been.  Weapons of mass destruction, modern technology and incredibly complex financial trading did not make the world less like the world described in Revelation; it made it MORE like the world described in Revelation.  Think about the mark of the beast as just one example of what I’m talking about.  The beast is coming and he is coming soon.  And I plan to write a lot more about what the Bible has to say about the last days and why I believe we are in them after this election.

I’m sure I’ll lose some readers as I take this blog in a different direction.  Maybe I’ll lose a lot of readers.  Obviously, I hope I’ll gain other readers, but my primary goal is simply to stand up for my faith and for what I believe and to be true to the vision that I believe God gave me.

The Socialist ObamaCare Takeover Of Health Care Is An Unmitigated Disaster. Just Ask Doctors.

I write this the night before the Supreme Court releases its decision on ObamaCare, obviously not knowing how the SCOTUS will rule.

Will the SCOTUS overturn the entire law?  I think so, in the sense that the Democrats who rammed the disgraceful takeover of our health care system could have placed a severability clause in it, but didn’t.  One of the Justices (Scalia, in my memory) famously asked just how on earth they could be expected to divide this 2,700 page monstrosity up if they were to decide to overturn part of it and keep part of it.

On the other hand, The Supreme Court seems to have a penchant for deciding as little as possible and ruling as narrowly as possible – which guarantees that the same issues will come before them again and again and again.  If you are a fan of the SCOTUS, you might argue that this is because they don’t want to involve the Court in important issues which ought to be decided by the elected branches.  But if that’s true, why bother to even take up these cases with decisions that decide almost nothing?  On the other hand, if you are a SCOTUS skeptic, you might well conclude that the Supreme Court never issues bold decisions so it can have job security.

The court issues so many narrow decisions that merely force them to issue subsequent narrow decisions on basically the same damn cases ad nauseam.

An example of this was the Arizona SB 1070 Law.  By keeping the major provision and overturning the other three, you ended up with a joke of a system in which the states get to demand immigration papers and the suspects get to refuse to show them their immigration papers.  Antonin Scalia’s frustration over the near-useless ruling which guarantees that immigration will remain a mess would have been funny if the situation wasn’t such a travesty.  His harshest remark may have been:

The President has said that the new program is “the right thing to do” in light of Congress’s failure to pass the Administration’s proposed revision of the immigration laws. Perhaps it is, though Arizona may not think so. But to say, as the Court does, that Arizona contradicts federal law by enforcing applications of federal immigration law that the President declines to enforce boggles the mind.

So, while I am believing the Court will issue a bold decision and overturn ObamaCare simply because it will create a genuine disaster if it overturns the mandate (the funding mechanism) but leaves the rest of the law that forces trillions in spending intact – or even worse, leaving the mandate intact and choosing some other details to quibble over – I recognize that such a decision is how the SCOTUS normally does business.

A new survey that just came out that demonstrates just what a turd this ObamaCare law is worth broadcasting from every rooftop.  If ObamaCare gets thrown out as unconstitutional, then we need to keep doing everything we can to expose just how breathtakingly evil this demonic law truly was in the face of the Democrat Party’s “The Supreme Court is only a valid entity if it rules the way we fascist liberals say it should” mantra (see more of that here from elected Democrats).  And what the heck.  Here’s still more.  And we need to expose it even MORE if any part of this beast is allowed to limp out of the Supreme Court (and if the SCOTUS doesn’t overturn it, figure on the same people who demonized the Court saying, “The highest court in the land has now spoken …”).

The Doctor Patient Medical Association has released a new survey of about 700 doctors, and the results are bleak. Scary bleak. Among other dismal figures, Doctors’ Attitudes on the Future of Medicine: What’s Wrong, Who’s to Blame, and What Will Fix It found that 83% of respondents are contemplating leaving the industry if Obamacare is fully implemented, owing to its disastrous projected consequences. Indeed, they openly blame the healthcare law for their industry’s woes:

 83% say they are thinking about QUITTING
 61% say the system challenges their ETHICS
 85% say the patient-physician relationship is in a TAILSPIN
 65% say GOVERNMENT INVOLVEMENT is most to blame for current problems
 72% say individual insurance mandate will NOT result in improved access care
 49% say they will STOP accepting Medicaid patients
 74% say they will STOP ACCEPTING Medicare patients, or leave Medicare completely
 52% say they would rather treat some Medicaid/Medicare patient for FREE
 57% give the AMA a FAILING GRADE representing them
 1 out of 3 doctors is HESITANT to voice their opinion
 2 out of 3 say they are JUST SQUEAKING BY OR IN THE RED financially
 95% say private practice is losing out to CORPORATE MEDICINE
 80% say DOCTORS/MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS are most likely to help solve things
 70% say REDUCING GOVERNMENT would be single best fix.
 
If this isn’t an airtight argument for the repeal of Obamacare, nothing is. When the people providing the actual healthcare are thinking of getting out of the game, the system is clearly broken. Here’s hoping the Supreme Court strikes down Obamacare this month.

For Physicians, Obamacare a Net Negative

Jackson & Coker, a division of Jackson Healthcare and leader in permanent and locum tenens physician staffing for over 30 years, endorsed the results of a new survey by its parent company that finds that a “D” is the mean grade physicians give the health law, despite its primary intention to reduce the cost of healthcare and provide coverage for the uninsured. Physicians who said they were very knowledgeable about the law were even more negative.

The survey was conducted online from May 25 to June 4, 2012. Invitations for the survey were emailed to physicians who had been placed by Jackson Healthcare staffing companies and those who had not. Respondents were self-selected, with 2,694 physicians completing the survey. (The error range for this survey at the 95-percent confidence level is +/- 1.9 percent.)

In addition, the survey shows 68 percent of American physicians disagree that the Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as “Obamacare,” will have a positive impact on physician/patient relationship.

Only 12 percent of physicians said the law provides needed healthcare reform. A majority of physicians said the ACA would not improve healthcare’s quality, rising costs or patients’ control over their own health care. They also said it would worsen the amount of control physicians have over their practice decisions.

The only positive rating physicians gave the ACA was related to access. Fifty-four percent of respondents said the new law will increase patients’ access to care. The health law is estimated to drive 13 million new Medicaid enrollees beginning in 2014.

“Physician opinions are important since they are a primary driver of healthcare decisions and costs,” said Richard L. Jackson, chairman and CEO of Jackson Healthcare, a national healthcare staffing company. “Overall, they believe the law does not meet its intended objectives, negatively impacts the patient-physician relationship and hinders their ability to control the treatment of their patients.”

One important provision in the law set to take effect next year is the Independent Payment Advisory Board charged with finding savings in Medicare. Sixty-four percent of physicians said it would have a negative impact on patient care.

Among other key survey findings:

• 70 percent said ACA would not stem rising healthcare costs.
• 66 percent said ACA would give physicians less control over their practice decisions.
• 61 percent said ACA would not improve the quality of healthcare.
• 55 percent said Congress should scrap ACA and start over.
• 49 percent said ACA would give patients less control over their healthcare.
• 35 percent said it did nothing to reform healthcare.
• 31 percent said ACA didn’t go far enough and a single-payer system is needed.
• 22 percent said ACA went too far and impedes a physician’s ability to practice medicine.

“Improving the quality of patient care and managing rising healthcare costs are undoubtedly the two biggest issues facing physician practices today, and this survey certainly indicates the new health law is doing little to address these key challenges,” said Tony Stajduhar, president of the Permanent Recruitment Division, Jackson & Coker. “With a shortage of physicians already projected in the coming years, especially among permanent physicians, we need to actively engage this key group in discussions regarding healthcare reform that will bring about impactful changes in our current healthcare system―in turn, positively influencing recruitment and retention within this profession.”

The “Obama Akbar!” liberals who most support ObamaCare frankly don’t care if it is evil and will kill people by medical neglect.  In fact, the worse it is, and the more people die because of ObamaCare, the better – because that would lead to the next step in liberal’s most cherished dreams of a state-controlled society.  Because the sad, pathetic, tragic fact of the matter is that the bigger and more intrusive government becomes and the more wildly said government fails, the more essential still bigger and still more intrusive government becomes.  If a small, limited government that conservatives yearn for has a crisis, most people aren’t gravely impacted.  If you have the sort of giant government bureaucracy that liberals dream of and it has a crisis, people will suffer by the hundreds of millions.  If we had a catastrophic collapse of the government – and believe me, one is coming SOON – you can rest assured that millions of frightened, hungry people would demand the government step in and help them – which is precisely what liberals want.  The system crashes, liberals seize power, and they never look back.  And it won’t even MATTER that they were the ones who created the collapse in the first place.  We’ve already seen this story before.

Update, 6/28/12: Well I was wrong – and very right.  SCOTUS issued one of its quibbling decisions in which it played around with the regime’s draconian Medicaid threats against the states while asserting that the mandate was a tax even though Obama and the Democrat Party swore up one side and down the other that it was NOT a tax.  But overall, as long as you play bait-and-switch and arbitrarily declare what Obama and Congress said was not a tax to be a tax, it’s “constitutional.”  All the Supreme Court had to do to not be “activist” in Democrat demagoguery was to rewrite the clear intent of the law to use the Commerce Clause rather than Congress’ taxing powers.  Which of course is pretty damned activist, isn’t it?

It is also the largest tax of the American middle class in the history of the Republic.

Obama is now a documented liar on his pledge to the middle class:

BARACK OBAMA: And I can make a firm pledge: under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase – not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes.

Obama promised it over and over:

But let me perfectly clear, because I know you’ll hear the same old claims that rolling back these tax breaks means a massive tax increase on the American people:  if your family earns less than $250,000 a year, you will not see your taxes increased a single dime.  I repeat: not one single dime.

And:

I will cut taxes – cut taxes – for 95% of all working families. Because in an economy like this, the last thing we should do is raise taxes on the middle-class.

And in interviews with former Democrat spin doctors turned mainstream media “journalsits” Obama responded to questions:

STEPHANOPOULOS: I wanted to check for myself. But your critics say it is a tax increase.

OBAMA: My critics say everything is a tax increase. My critics say that I’m taking over every sector of the economy. You know that. Look, we can have a legitimate debate about whether or not we’re going to have an individual mandate or not, but…

STEPHANOPOULOS: But you reject that it’s a tax increase?

OBAMA: I absolutely reject that notion.

Here’s more of the exchange with Stephanopoulos in which we can now saw with complete factual certainty that Barack Obama lied to the American people:

STEPHANOPOULOS: “Under this mandate, the government is forcing people to spend money, fining you if you don’t. How is that not a tax?”

PRESIDENT OBAMA: “No. That’s not true, George. The — for us to say that you’ve got to take a responsibility to get health insurance is absolutely not a tax increase.

But Obama lied to you.  It IS a tax increase.  It is a supermassive tax increase, in fact.  And now the middle class is burdened with the largest tax increase in American history and it won’t be single dimes, but lots and lots of dollars, that Americans will find themselves paying.  Like everything this cynical, dishonest president does, it will be sneaky: it won’t be all that much in year one beginning AFTER the election in 2013, but it will be more in year two and quite a bit more in year three.

You just wait and see how much you are going to pay for this monstrosity as it increasingly starts to blow up as it gets implemented.

There is already a $17 TRILLION funding gap in this monstrosity.  And you aint seen nothin’ yet.  Not only the absolute number but even the rate of those without insurance has INCREASED since ObamaCare was passed.  And ObamaCare has raised the cost of medicine; the average family is paying over $2,000 more in health insurance premiums in a number of states since ObamaCare was passed.  And that was EXACTLY what was predicted as compared to what would have happened HAD OBAMACARE NOT EXISTED, according to the CBO.  But now we’re finding that health premiums are increasing by as much as 1,112 percent.  And the Supreme Court decision today will likely cause this escalating cost spike to shoot at an even higher trajectory into the stratosphere.

Let me put this into the context of the Star Wars fight of good versus totalitarian big government-gone insane evil: “Help me, Mitty Won Romnobi.  You’re my only hope.”

Please use your presidential lightsaber to slice this Death Panel to pieces before it’s too late.

US Per Capita Debt Now Actually Significantly WORSE Than Greece

One day, not all that long ago, the Greek people woke up to learn that they had a serious, traumatic debt crisis that they couldn’t fix without going through years of pain.  Mind you, it had been going on for years, but neither their political leadership or their mainstream media informed the people of the developing disaster.

One day, not all that long from now, the American people are going to wake up to discover the exact same thing.

We’ve got two things the Greeks don’t have to make us all the more morally culpable for our disaster: 1) the Greek disaster itself; and 2) the greater freedom of information that America had by right until we allowed criminal leftwing propagandists to usurp our constitutional freedom of the press to challenge the status quo and print the truth.

We’re not as bad as Greece; we’re WORSE than Greece.

And when we come crashing down, it will be from a much higher place to a much lower depth.  And there won’t be any European Union bailout to help us.

U.S. per capita government debt worse than Greece

According to a new analysis by the office of Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., ranking member on the Senate Budget Committee, the United States has a higher per capita debt burden than any European country, including riot-ridden Greece.

Using the most recent data available from the International Monetary Fund, the Senate Budget Committee found that U.S. federal government debt per capita is nearly $45,000. That is almost 15 percent higher than the per capita debt burden of Greece ($38,937).

The Senate Budget Committee also notes that our debt per capita would rise to $75,000 by 2020 if President Obama’s budget became law.

Earlier last month, the U.S. government’s total out standing debt, $15,419,800,222,325, surpassed the nation’s gross domestic product ($15,294,300,000,000).

Let me tell you something: it isn’t for nothing that the most prestigious prize in journalism is named after one of the world’s worst insults to “journalism.”

Barack Obama is leading this nation to a quick suicide that will result in a lingering and painful economic death and the media won’t report the truth.

The beast is coming.

America will fall very soon; and when it falls no nation on earth will have ever deserved to fall more.  Because we should have seen our death coming for decades and we refused to change our ways.  And because we chose as a result to consume a diet of constant lies and demagoguery from the propaganda media (and see another example here).

Jesus, speaking of God’s people Israel who refused to acknowledge reality and accept their promised Messiah, said:

“If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace–but now it is hidden from your eyes.  The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side.  They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you” (Luke 19:42-44).

We are just as determinedly blind as they were; and God will allow this nation to face a complete collapse as a result of our moral stupidity and our hostility to truth and reality.  And while God promised His special people the Jews that He would restore them, He made no such promise to America.  When we go down, there will be no coming back for us.

It will be after the collapse of America and as a result of the collapse of America that the world will be plunged into catastrophe and chaos unlike ever seen in human history as recorded in Revelation chapter Six.  The four horsemen of the apocalypse will ride in to plague the world, representing war, economic disaster, famine and the Antichrist.

The Antichrist will come riding in on his white horse to save the day and unite the world in the aftermath of the staggering disaster that Barack Obama is bringing.  He will be everything that big government liberals have ever dreamed of.  And you can be certain that the mainstream media will love him too.  But in only a few years his big government liberal policies will result in total hell on earth.

Let’s Reflect On The History Of Social Security: On The Government Takeover And Of The FAR Better Privatized Option We Should Have Had

I begin by quoting from Burton Folsom, Jr.’s New Deal Or Raw Deal? to illustrate the history of the disaster that is otherwise known as “Social Security”:

Roosevelt’s social security plan created an array of problems. First, it retarded recovery from the Great Depression by contributing to unemployment. From 1937 to 1940, employers and employees were docked for social security, and that money was out of private hands and lying fallow in the treasury. Lloyd Peck of the Laundryowners National Association concluded, “The burden of this proposal for employers to carry, through a payroll tax, will act as a definite curb on business expansion, and will likely eliminate many businesses now on the verge of bankruptcy.”

Second, social security was unsound financially.  Unlike life insurance policies, workers had to live to age sixty-two to collect anything.  Life expectancy in 1930, the year of the most recent census, was almost sixty years, which meant that most people of that time would lose money from their paycheck every month for thirty to forty years, and neither they nor their children would ever receive a return on it.  In the case of black Americans, who had only a forty-eight-year life expectancy in 1930, most contributed to pensions that would disproportionately go to whites.  What’s more, the payroll tax was regressive – Henry Ford and Andrew Mellon paid in the same amount as their employees who earned $3,000 a year.

While some Americans were soaked by social security, others, especially the first retirees, rolled in benefits after making only minimal payments.  Ida Fuller, for example, a legal secretary in Ludlow, Vermont, paid a total of $24.75 into social security from 1937 to 1940, when she retired at age sixty-five.  Her first monthly social security check of $22.54 almost matched her entire contribution.  At her death in 1975, she had received $22,888.92 from social security, a payout of roughly $1,000 for every dollar she paid in.

When an accountant quizzed Roosevelt about the economic problems with social security, especially its tendency to create unemployment, he responded, “I guess you’re right on the economics, but those taxes were never a problem of economics.  They are politics all the way through.”  Roosevelt explained that “with those taxes in there, no damn politician can ever scrap my social security program.”  That’s why, as Roosevelt admitted, it’s “politics all the way through.”  Most politicians, following Roosevelt’s lead, have taken delight in raising social security payouts and using that gift to plead for votes from the elderly at election time.

In the original debate in the Senate on social security, Senator Bennett Champ Clark of Missouri wondered if private pensions for retirement might outperform the government pensions proposed in the social security bill.  He introduced the Clark Amendment, which would have allowed private employers to opt out of social security.

The key provision in the Clark Amendment was that employers had to at least match the government’s social security program in benefits to the employee and in premiums extracted from the employee.  The employer also had to agree to place the premiums with an insurance company – to an approved alternative – and to give all employees the right to choose the government-run program instead of the private alternative.

When the Clark Amendment was debated before the Senate in 1935, the advocates of a government monopoly were on the defensive.  On of them, Senator Robert La Follette, Jr., of Wisconsin complained: “If e shall adopt this amendment, the government having determined to set up a federal system of old-age [insurance], will provide in its own bill creating that system, for competition, which in the end may destroy the federal system.”  La Follette was perceptive.  If private insurance or mutual funds were allowed to compete with the government, no one might choose the government plan.  The Senate decided that workers ought to have a choice and voted 51-35 to make the Clark Amendment part of the social security law.

President Roosevelt was furious at the Senate, and threatened to veto the social security bill if it came to him with the Clark Amendment attached.  When the House passed a social security bill without the Clark Amendment, Roosevelt and his supporters used a parliamentary tactic to gain victory.  The House-Senate conference committee met to work out a compromise bill, and naturally the Clark Amendment was the main point of debate.  The committee decided to submit a final bill to Roosevelt with the government monopoly intact.  But they agreed to appoint a special joint legislative committee to study the Clark Amendment and report to Congress the next year on how best to provide for competition.  but after the government monopoly was instituted, the promised meeting in 1936 was never held.  Given that many private pension plans over the last sixty years have returned around 8 percent a year, and that social security benefits have averaged less than a 2 percent return, Senator Clark’s alternative showed much wisdom, but he couldn’t overcome Roosevelt’s political skill. — Burton Folsom, Jr., New Deal Or Raw Deal?  How FDR’s Economic Legacy Has Damaged America, 2008, pp. 116-118

Can we document the fact that FDR massively undermined workers and created devastating unemployment with his stupid and immoral policies?  To quote Obama, “Yes we can!”  For one thing, economists can now calculate that FDR prolonged the Great Depression and all the misery that accompanied it by seven years.

Don’t believe those economists?  Okay, then allow me to quote Henry Morganthau, FDR’s close personal friend and Secretary of the Treasury:

“We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work. And I have just one interest, and if I am wrong… somebody else can have my job. I want to see this country prosperous. I want to see people get a job. I want to see people get enough to eat. We have never made good on our promises… I say after eight years of this Administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started… And an enormous debt to boot!” – Henry Morganthau, FDR’s Treasury Secretary, May 1939

In April 1939, for the record, unemployment was 20.7%

The whole clip is interesting, but the money quote begins a hair after the 21:30 mark when Summers says something about left wing icon FDR that will undoubtedly result in fewer dinner invitations in the Hamptons this summer:

Chile’s Privatized Social Security Program is 30 Years Old, and Prospering

As a quiet example of how privatizing Social Security works in the real world, Chile’s 30-year experiment is succeeding beyond expectations. Instead of running huge deficits to fund the old “PayGo” system, private savings now exceed 50 percent of the country’s Gross Domestic Product.

Prior to May 1, 1981, the Chilean system required contributions from workers and was clearly in grave financial trouble. Instead of nibbling around the edges to shore up the program for another few years, José Piñera, Secretary of Labor and Pensions under Augusto Pinochet, decided to do a major overhaul of the system:

We knew that cosmetic changes — increasing the retirement age, increasing taxes — would not be enough. We understood that the pay-as-you-go system had a fundamental flaw, one rooted in a false conception of how human beings behave. That flaw was lack of a link between what people put into their pension program and what they take out….

So we decided to go in the other direction, to link benefits to contributions. The money that a worker pays into the system goes into an account that is owned by the worker.

The system still required contributions of 10 percent of salary, but the money was deposited in any one of an array of private investment companies. Upon retirement, the worker had a number of options, including purchasing an annuity for life. Along the way he could track the performance of his account, and increase his contribution (up to 20 percent) if he wanted to retire earlier, or increase his payout at retirement.

How well has the system performed? John Tierney, a writer for the New York Times, went to visit Pablo Serra, a former classmate and friend in Santiago a few years ago, and they compared notes on how well their respective retirement programs were doing. Tierney brought along his latest statement from Social Security, while his friend brought up his retirement plan on his computer. It turned out that they both had been contributing about the same amount of money, so the comparison was apt, and startling, said Tierney:

Pablo could retire in 10 years, at age 62, with an annual pension of $55,000. That would be more than triple the $18,000 I can expect from Social Security at that age. OR

Pablo could retire at age 65 with an annual pension of $70,000. That would almost triple the $25,000 pension promised [to me] by Social Security starting a year later, at age 66. OR

Pablo could retire at age 65 with an annual pension of $53,000 and [in addition receive] a one-time cash payment of $223,000.

Tierney wrote that Pablo said “I’m very happy with my account.” Tierney suggested that, upon retirement, Pablo could not only retire nicely, but be able to buy himself a vacation home at the shore or in the country. Pablo laughed it off, and Tierney wrote: “I’m trying to look on the bright side. Maybe my Social Security check will cover the airfare to visit him.”

According to Investors Business Daily, the average annual rate of return for Chilean workers over the last 30 years has exceeded 9% annually, after inflation, whereas “U. S. Social Security pays a 1% to 2% (theoretical) rate of return, and even less for new workers.”

As expected, the capital accumulated in these privatized accounts have generated substantial growth in Chile’s economy. As noted by Wikipedia, “Chile is one of South America’s most stable and prosperous nations, leading Latin American nations in human development, competitiveness, income per capita, globalization, economic freedom, and low perception of corruption.” [Emphases added.]

High domestic savings and investment rates helped propel Chile’s economy to average growth rates of 8% during the 1990s. The privatized national pension plan (AFP) has encouraged domestic investment and contributed to an estimated total domestic savings rate of approximately 21% of GDP.

This was anticipated by Piñera when the plan was originally designed and implemented in 1981. In reviewing the success of the plan after just 15 years, Piñera said, “The Chilean worker is an owner, a capitalist. There is no more powerful way to stabilize a free-market economy and to get the support of the workers than to link them directly to the benefits of the market system. When Chile grows at 7 percent or when the stock market doubles … Chilean workers benefit directly, not only through high wages, not only through more employment, but through additional capital in their individual pension accounts.”

All of which should resonate with American workers who have been forced to contribute to a failing Social Security system for years. And yet when given the opportunity to support any sort of privatization, as during the Clinton and Bush administrations, the idea gained little traction. And now that Rep. Paul Ryan’s “Road Map” offers the chance for those same workers to contribute just one-third of their Social Security taxes to similar private accounts, the idea continues to fall on deaf ears.

However, according to Rasmussen Reports, that may be changing. Nearly half of those polled now correctly understand ‘that making major long-term cuts in government spending will require big changes” in Social Security, Medicare, and defense. That figure, adds Rasmussen, “suggests a growing awareness of budgetary realities among the American people.”

To privatize Social Security makes nothing but sense, as in dollars and cents. The ownership of private property has always propelled economic prosperity, higher wages and improved standards of living. Only those whose goals are to impoverish the American worker and reduce his ability to manage his own affairs and control his own future would resist such an attractive alternative. As noted by Piñera,

This is a brief story of a dream that has come true. The ultimate lesson is that the only revolutions that are successful are those that trust the individual, and the wonders that individuals can do when they are free.

I think of the misery that FDR inflicted upon every single American worker for the sake of a Democrat-controlled boondoggle that would “progressively” rob one generation of Americans after another compared to what they could have had if a privatized system (such as Chile’s or such as Clark’s) had been implemented instead.

But it is not enough to say America could have had much more than what Franklin Delano Roosevelt afflicted us with as a result of his partisan political takeover to give government a sole monopoly of something it never should have involved itself with in the first place.  The simple fact of the matter is that ENTIRELY because of FDR and the increasingly despicable Democrat Party that would follow, America is now in a situation in which it is guaranteed to economically implode.

Social Security was ALWAYS a Ponzi scheme and it was ALWAYS guaranteed to ultimately fail and result in the collapse of the American dream and the very nation itself.

Consider what Boston University economist Laurence Kotlikoff, writing in the September issue of Finance and Development, a journal of the International Monetary Fund, discovered:

A National Debt Of $14 Trillion? Try $211 Trillion

When Standard & Poor’s reduced the nation’s credit rating from AAA to AA-plus, the United States suffered the first downgrade to its credit rating ever. S&P took this action despite the plan Congress passed this past week to raise the debt limit.

The downgrade, S&P said, “reflects our opinion that the fiscal consolidation plan that Congress and the administration recently agreed to falls short of what, in our view, would be necessary to stabilize the government’s medium-term debt dynamics.”

It’s those medium- and long-term debt problems that also worry economics professor Laurence J. Kotlikoff, who served as a senior economist on President Reagan’s Council of Economic Advisers. He says the national debt, which the U.S. Treasury has accounted at about $14 trillion, is just the tip of the iceberg.

“We have all these unofficial debts that are massive compared to the official debt,” Kotlikoff tells David Greene, guest host of weekends on All Things Considered. “We’re focused just on the official debt, so we’re trying to balance the wrong books.”

Kotlikoff explains that America’s “unofficial” payment obligations — like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid benefits — jack up the debt figure substantially.

“If you add up all the promises that have been made for spending obligations, including defense expenditures, and you subtract all the taxes that we expect to collect, the difference is $211 trillion. That’s the fiscal gap,” he says. “That’s our true indebtedness.”

We don’t hear more about this enormous number, Kotlikoff says, because politicians have chosen their language carefully to keep most of the problem off the books.

“Why are these guys thinking about balancing the budget?” he says. “They should try and think about our long-term fiscal problems.”

According to Kotlikoff, one of the biggest fiscal problems Congress should focus on is America’s obligation to make Social Security payments to future generations of the elderly.

“We’ve got 78 million baby boomers who are poised to collect, in about 15 to 20 years, about $40,000 per person. Multiply 78 million by $40,000 — you’re talking about more than $3 trillion a year just to give to a portion of the population,” he says. “That’s an enormous bill that’s overhanging our heads, and Congress isn’t focused on it.”

“We’ve consistently done too little too late, looked too short-term, said the future would take care of itself, we’ll deal with that tomorrow,” he says. “Well, guess what? You can’t keep putting off these problems.”

To eliminate the fiscal gap, Kotlikoff says, the U.S. would have to have tax increases and spending reductions far beyond what’s being negotiated right now in Washington.

“What you have to do is either immediately and permanently raise taxes by about two-thirds, or immediately and permanently cut every dollar of spending by 40 percent forever. The [Congressional Budget Office’s] numbers say we have an absolutely enormous problem facing us.”

Democrats want to self-righteously lecture us about the giant spending of Reagan or Bush.  But don’t just consider that Barack Obama demonized George Bush for increasing the debt by $4 trillion in eight years before he increased the debt by $6 trillion in only three years.  Go beyond that and divide Bush’s debt by the $211 trillion that Democrats have saddled us with after giving us toxic boondoggles loaded with lies and pork.  I come up with 1.9 percent; what do you get?

Virtually every single penny of toxic, staggering, insurmountable, unpayable debt that we have been saddled on us by Democrats.  And they have done so while giving us massively inferior boondoggles such as Social Security and Medicare.

Vital Signs: 4.5 Unemployed for Each Job Opening

Work is hard to find. For each U.S. job opening at the end of June, there were 4.5 people looking for work, according to Labor Department figures. That was down from a year earlier, when there were 5.4 job seekers for every opening. But in 2007, there were about two job openings for every three unemployed workers.

In 2007 there were two job openings for every three unemployed persons.  Doing the math to get the relevant ratio, that’s 3 unemployed persons divided by 2 jobs, or 1.5 jobs for every unemployed person.  Versus Obama’s 4.5 figure now.

I’m trying to think but I can’t remember; who was president when REAL UNEMPLOYMENT WAS ONE-THIRD WHAT IT IS NOW?

Barack Obama has TRIPLED real unemployment.  And that is a FACT.

At some point the people are either going to realize that the mainstream media, the Democrat Party and Barack Obama have told so many giant lies to sell their leftwing narrative it is positively unreal.  Or they will go the way of the Dodo bird.  It’s that simple.

Wisconsin Republicans just survived a recall election funded by tens of millions of dollars in out-of-state big union money.  Good thing, because their policies that sent liberals into evil and vile fury WORKED and Wisconsin is CREATING JOBS:

According to new jobs figures, Wisconsin created 12,900 new private-sector jobs in June, almost as many as the 18,000 new jobs created nationwide last month. This represents the largest one-month gain of private-sector jobs in Wisconsin since 2003, according to the state Department of Workforce Development.

Because of Governor Scott Walker and the Republican Party initiatives that made the left go absolutely batpoop, Wisconsin is a JOB ENGINE.

Is OBAMA created jobs?  No.  He has destroyed jobs by the MILLIONS while offering a continuous stream of incredibly deceitful statistics and excuses.

Governor Rick Perry of Texas is about to announce his campaign to take Obama’s job away from him (and I am about to put my efforts behind his campaign when he does).  How about Rick Perry’s job creation in Republican Texas?

From a liberal writing in the Los Angeles Times:

For the last few weeks, I’ve been unable to get a startling statistic out of my head: Since the recession officially ended, Texas has created more than 4 of every 10 new jobs in America.

That’s right, Texas: the reddest of red states, home to gun lovers and school textbooks that openly question whether the Founding Fathers intended for the separation of church and state. I am no ideologue. Still, whenever I get political, I tend to tilt reflexively to the left, making the jobs figure a bit disconcerting at first.

But there’s no escaping it. The number is real. Which means that if you care about putting people back to work at a time when nearly 14 million in this country are unemployed, maybe Texas has something to teach us.

According to the Dallas Fed, Texas generated 43% of the net new jobs in the U.S. from June 2009 through May 2011 — an enormous share when you consider that the Lone Star State accounts for about 8% of the nation’s economy.

We just discovered that the United States of America has crossed the ridiculous tipping point of having our borrowing/debt EXCEED 100% of our GDP.  And how are conservative policies working out RIGHT NOW while Obama and his liberal policies are ruining America job by job by job?

First there’s the unemployment rate of 4.1%. Second lowest in the entire nation (behind fellow Republican state North Dakota, for what that’s worth):

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Authorities say Nebraska’s unemployment rate dropped to 4.1 percent in May, a drop of a tenth of a point from April’s 4.2 percent.

Then there’s the fact that this Republican state has a balanced budget. And how did it balance the budget and get low unemployment?

[M]aybe there is something Washington can learn from Nebraska. How did Nebraska, with an estimated budget shortfall of almost $1 billion November 2010, get to a unanimous decision May 2011 and approve a balanced biennial budget of $6.9 billion? A balanced budget that does not raise taxes and leaves nearly $300 million in the state’s cash reserves.

Some might presume that life is difficult for Nebraskans, what with their state government required to balance the budget and not allowed to borrow. Actually Nebraska is ranked #10 by Lifestyle Statistics, it was 3rd in top jobs behind North Dakota and Texas, and to top it off, the unemployment rate for Nebraska is 4.1%.

How did it happen? Strong leadership. A state constitution that requires a balanced budget and doesn’t allow for borrowing. Tough decisions made during tough times, not delayed. Priorities identified. Discussions. Debates. Negotiations…and the use of a red line.

An interesting quote from Gov. Dave Heineman occurs midway through this snippet from an article entitled, “Caterpillar Threatens To Leave Illinois Over Taxes“:

“If Illinois doesn’t want your business, Texas does,” wrote Rick Perry, the governor of that state.

The governor of Nebraska, Dave Heineman, wrote: “In Nebraska, we balance our budget by controlling spending, not by raising taxes.”

An official in the South Dakota governor’s office chimed in: “In South Dakota, you make a profit, and you keep your profit.”

The Illinois tax increase will cost Caterpillar’s 23,000 employees in the state about $40 million this year, said Jim Dugan, the company’s chief spokesman. Higher taxes make it harder for Caterpillar to attract and retain engineers, accountants and other employees, Dugan said. He added that Caterpillar’s corporate taxes in the state also will increase but provided no estimate on the added cost.

“The state unfortunately continues to put off the tough decisions” about potential reductions in government spending and pension costs, Dugan said. He said Caterpillar was offering to advise the governor on cost-cutting based on the company’s own experience chopping pay and laying off workers during the 2008-09 recession

First, liberal Democrat Illinois is a hellhole. And that’s because Democrats own that state. Some interesting figures: 4 out of the last 7 governors of Illinois are convicted felons. It’s government union pension program is the biggest disaster in the nation. It’s major city Chicago is so filled with gang violence that even Democrats have been pleading for the National Guard to come in. And, if that isn’t bad enough, Democrats are so dishonest that they just altered their congressional map to undo the clear will of the people. That’s what Democrats bring.

All over the nation we’ve got cities that have voted Democrat for a hundred years. And they are all hell holes. While a jackass is in many ways an accurate symbol of what it means to be a Democrat, it would really be far more fitting if the symbol of the Democrat Party was a black hole surrounded by the white-hot fires of hell. Because “Democrat” is really a portmanteau for “Demonic Bureaucrat.” And hell is what demonic bureaucrats invariably bring. Along with socialism and totalitarian control.

In 2008, Barack Obama, the Democrat Party and the mainstream media sold you a blatantly false narrative.  The same people who assured you that George Bush was completely to blame because he was president in 2008 refuse to assign Barack Obama ANY responsibility WHATSOEVER even when he has been president for THREE YEARS of UNMITIGATED DISASTER.  The same Democrats and the same media that now blame Republicans because they took control of the House early this year REFUSED to blame Democrats who took control of BOTH THE HOUSE AND THE SENATE in November 2006.  When Nancy Pelosi took control of the House of Representatives and when Harry Reid took control of the Senate from Republicans, the unemployment rate was 4.4 PERCENT.

And what horror they then wrought.  But the same media propaganda machine that now blames Republicans for controlling only HALF of Congress refused to assign Democrats any blame even though they controlled THE WHOLE THING.

And let’s look at spending when we can compare the “failed” policies of Republicans to the “oh so successful” policies of Democrats:

Consider the last three plus years’ worth of reckless spending. The Bush administration has been blamed for much of this reckless spending, but it was actually a Democrat Congress that swept into power in 2006 (largely due to what we can now readily see was hypocritical demagoguery over the Iraq War and Hurricane Katrina rather than any economic issue) which proceeded to spend America into the stratosphere:

For the record, the last budget from a Republican President AND a Republican Congress – FY-2007 (passed in 2006) – resulted in a$161 billion deficit at a time when unemployment was 4.6%. That’s what happened the last time the GOP was in control.

What happened when the Democrats took control in January 2007? Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi passed a FY-2008 budget that had a $459 billion deficit – nearly three times the deficit in the immediately previous Republican-passed budget. Three times. And this before the financial crisis that somehow “necessitated” all this massive spending.

Now, that’s a pretty crazy increase under Democrat control. But you aint seen nothin’ yet.

The Democrats passed a FY-2009 budget with a staggering, mind-boggling, totally reckless $1.42 TRILLION deficit.

The FY-2010 budget approved by Reid and Pelosi and signed by Obama had an estimated $1.6 TRILLION deficit.

The deficit has increased from $161 billion in the last budget before Democrats took control of the Congress (FY 2007) to $1.42 trillion in the most recent fiscal year (FY 2009)—an increase of $1.26 trillion or 782%.

With three months remaining in the fiscal 2009 budget, the federal deficit just officially passed the $1 trillion mark. Worse yet, Obama borrowed more than forty cents for every single dollar he spent.

We also suffered a budget shortfall of $94 billion in the month of June, which marks the first June in more than ten years (read, “encompassing the entire Bush presidency”). Bush’s success in raising revenues is bookended by two Democrat presidents who failed.

And now the Democrats aren’t even bothering to pass a budget for the next fiscal year, so they can simply spend without any accountability whatsoever.

The old annual deficits under Republicans have now become the monthly deficits under Democrats:

In the 12 years that Republicans controlled the House, the average deficit was $104 billion (average of final deficit/surplus FY1996-FY2007 data taken from Table F-1 below). In just 3 years under Democrats, the average deficit is now almost $1.1 trillion (average of final deficit/surplus FY2008 and 2009 data taken from Table F-1; FY2010 data taken from Table 1-3). Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Minority Whip) rightly pointed out on ABC’s “This Week”:

“If you look at the kind of deficit that we’ve incurred over the last three years that the Democrats have been in control of Congress, 60% of the overall deficit from the last ten years has occurred in that period. And frankly with the incurrence of the debt, we’ve seen very little result. That’s why we think we ought to choose another way.”

And yet the media falsely blame BUSH and Republicans for that spending, rather than Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and the Democrat-controlled House and Senate, even though factually speaking the Democrats were ENTIRELY to blame for every single penny that was spent from January 2007 on. Because our Constitution forbids a president from spending; it is CONGRESS that spends.

I also point out in that article (and many others such as this one) that Democrats were primarily responsible for the disastrous policies that led to the 2008 collapse. They were basically completely responsible for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and their reckless policies, and then utterly refused to allow any reforms that would have averted the ensuing disaster.

For the record, as I write this on Wednesday, August 10, it has now been 834 days since the Democrat Party bothered to pass ANY BUDGET AT ALL.  But again, the only people who are “responsible” for the total fiscal disaster we are now in are Republicans.  And that is because the mainstream media has degenerated into a propaganda tool that one has to go back to Joseph Goebbels and his Ministry of Propaganda to surpass in its sheer determination to report lies as truth.

Obama is spending $5 billion a day, versus George Bush’s $1.6 billion a day. But it was all George Bush and his “reckless spending” that “got us into this ditch we’re in.”

Obama promised us if his $862 (actually $3.27 TRILLION, according to the CBO analysis) stimulus unemployment would be 6.5% by now.  In reality it is over 9 percent.  And the ONLY reason it dropped from 9.2 to 9.1% is because MORE PEOPLE just plain gave up bothering to even TRY to look for work than actually got any jobs.  100,000 jobs were added, versus 200,000 people who gave up looking for work.

This has been a regular trend, as my February article “Unemployment Rate: At ‘Rate’ We’re Going, We’ll Have 0% Unemployment But No One Will Have An Actual Job” ought to prove.

The economy is in the worst shape since the LAST time a socialist and his Democrat Party got complete control of our economy.  And the housing market (which collapse created the disaster in 2008) is actually now WORSE than it was during the Great Depression.

Democrats live in a realm of absolute lies.  They are poisonous serpents who trick gullible and ignorant people into making terrible choices – just like the serpent and Eve in the Garden.

They have poisoned this economy.  And the ONLY thing they have done well is demonize Republicans for DEMOCRAT mismanagement.

It Was DEMOCRATS Who Blew Up Our Economy In 2008

And that last article above contains the links and titles to six more articles on the subject of why an intelligent and informed people would have blamed DEMOCRATS for the 2008 collapse.

But in short, just take a look at the following timeline of our 2008 collapse and see which (Democrat) entity led the nation into implosion:

• September 7: Federal takeover of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which at that point owned or guaranteed about half of the U.S.’s $12 trillion mortgage market, effectively nationalizing them. This causes panic because almost every home mortgage lender and Wall Street bank relied on them to facilitate the mortgage market and investors worldwide owned $5.2 trillion of debt securities backed by them.^[199][200]
• September 14: Merrill Lynch is sold to Bank of America amidst fears of a liquidity crisis and Lehman Brothers collapse^[201]
• September 15: Lehman Brothers files for bankruptcy protection^[202]
• September 16: Moody’s and Standard and Poor’s downgrade ratings on AIG‘s credit on concerns over continuing losses to mortgage-backed securities, sending the company into fears of insolvency.^[203][204] In addition, the Reserve Primary Fund “breaks the buck” leading to a run on the money market funds. Over $140 billion is withdrawn vs. $7 billion the week prior. This leads to problems for the commercial paper market, a key source of funding for corporations, which suddenly could not get funds or had to pay much higher interest rates.^[205]
• September 17: The US Federal Reserve lends $85 billion to American International Group (AIG) to avoid bankruptcy.
• September 18: Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke meet with key legislators to propose a $700 billion emergency bailout through the purchase of toxic assets. Bernanke tells them: “If we don’t do this, we may not have an economy on Monday.”^[206]
• September 19: Paulson financial rescue plan is unveiled after a volatile week in stock and debt markets.
• September 23: The Federal Bureau of Investigation discloses that it had been investigating the possibility of fraud by mortgage financing companies Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, Lehman Brothers, and insurer American International Group, bringing to 26 the number of corporate lenders under investigation.^[207]
• September 25: Washington Mutual is seized by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and its banking assets are sold to JP MorganChase for $1.9 billion.
• September 29: Emergency Economic Stabilization Act is defeated 228-205 in the United States House of Representatives; Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation announces that Citigroup Inc. would acquire banking operations of Wachovia.^[208]
• September 30: US Treasury changes tax law to allow a bank acquiring another to write off all of the acquired bank’s losses for tax purposes

Now allow me to quote the New York Times from September 30, 1999:

“Fannie Mae, the nation’s biggest underwriter of home mortgages, has been under increasing pressure from the Clinton Administration to expand mortgage loans among low and moderate income people and felt pressure from stock holders to maintain its phenomenal growth in profits.”

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac collapsed first.  And when these mammoth entities that controlled more than half of America’s mortgages proved rotten, all of the Wall Street firms that had purchased tainted GSE mortgage backed securities immediately began to topple.  George Bush and Republicans in Congress had tried SEVENTEEN TIMES to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.  But Democrats used every procedural gimmick in the book to block them at every turn.

When Bush first tried to reform these massive “government sponsored enterprises” that had dived into subprime loans to provide “the right to own homes” to favored Democrat voting bases –

WASHINGTON, Sept. 10— The Bush administration today recommended the most significant regulatory overhaul in the housing finance industry since the savings and loan crisis a decade ago. (New York Times, September 11, 2003)

– powerful Democrat Rep. Barney Frank said:

”These two entities — Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac — are not facing any kind of financial crisis,” said Representative Barney Frank of Massachusetts, the ranking Democrat on the Financial Services Committee. ”The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing.”

If you read this article you will see that economists predicted as early as 1999 that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac would implode and take our economy with it.  But here’s enough proof.  Again from the New York Times, September 30, 1999:

In moving, even tentatively, into this new area of lending, Fannie Mae is taking on significantly more risk, which may not pose any difficulties during flush economic times. But the government-subsidized corporation may run into trouble in an economic downturn, prompting a government rescue similar to that of the savings and loan industry in the 1980′s.

”From the perspective of many people, including me, this is another thrift industry growing up around us,” said Peter Wallison a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. ”If they fail, the government will have to step up and bail them out the way it stepped up and bailed out the thrift industry.”

And yet JUST before Fannie and Freddie collapsed and brought down the entire housing mortgage industry with it creating the economic meltdown, Barney Frank – continuing to stop any regulation of Fannie and Freddie – said this:

REP. BARNEY FRANK, D-MASS.: I think this is a case where Fannie and Freddie are fundamentally sound, that they are not in danger of going under. They’re not the best investments these days from the long-term standpoint going back. I think they are in good shape going forward.

And then Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac – protected entirely by Democrats – collapsed.  And took our entire economy to hell with it like two gigantic boulders that crushed everything on their way down.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac went completely bankrupt, and had to be bailed out by the government in THE LARGEST BAILOUT OF THE ENTIRE CRISIS.  From the Associated Press, August 9, 2011:

The government rescued McLean, Va.-based Freddie Mac and sibling company Fannie Mae in September 2008 after massive losses on risky mortgages threatened to topple them. Since then, a government regulator has controlled their financial decisions.

Fannie and Freddie own or guarantee about half of all U.S. mortgages and nearly all new mortgage loans. The mortgage giants buy home loans from banks and other lenders, package them into bonds with a guarantee against default, and then sell them to investors around the world.

Taxpayers have spent roughly $150 billion to rescue Fannie and Freddie, the most expensive bailout of the 2008 financial crisis. The government estimates the final cost for rescuing the firms could go as high as $259 billion.

It had been Fannie and Freddie which had the sole authority to buy mortgages, bundle them into the mortgage-backed securities which ultimately exploded, and then sell those gigantic bundled securities to private companies that believed that these securities were backed by the federal government. Just as it was Fannie and Freddie which had been the seller of subprime loans.

Now let me point out that Barack Obama took more campaign money in less time from corrupt Fannie and Freddie and from dirty crony capitalist Wall Street players like Lehman Brothers THAN ANYBODY.  Which is to say you literally voted for the devil in 2008, America.

And what is true about reckless spending is just as true about reckless voting: when you realize that you are digging yourself into a hole, PLEASE STOP DIGGING.

Vote for conservative Republicans to save America.  Or vote for America’s extinction.  It’s your choice, America.

Americans Are Frighteningly Underwater Due To The Obama Regime’s Massive Debts

I’m not big on libertarians over all (I am a fiscal and moral conservative), but here’s a libertarian who seems to have a detailed and accurate take on fiscal and economic issues.  After looking over a few of his posts, I checked his “about” section – and wasn’t surprised to find out that he’s a professor of finance at a fine university.

Anyway, he caught something about our debt clock that will keep you awake at night if you’re smart enough to worry about impending future reality:

The Two Charts That Scare S&P and The World

The rhetoric in the U.S. from politicians, economists and the media over S&P’s downgrade of the U.S. Treasury debt has gotten vicious with most opining that it was undeserved. True, the U.S. can pay its interest payments for the foreseeable future. But can the U.S. actually pay off the PRINCIPAL? With housing, a borrow can qualify if the lender is satisfied that they are able to meet monthly mortgage payments. But with a mortgage, one of the assumptions made by lenders is that the principal can be paid in full upon sale of the house (the due-on-sale clause). In addition, mortgage debt is amortized so that the principal is gradually paid off.

But with Treasury bonds, the debt is interest-only. And the principal that is owed is $10 trillion to investors (and over $14 trillion to investors and other government entities). Can we pay off the $10 trillion? In theory we could pay it off. But it would be hard work. Take a look at usdebtclock.org. Now look at the bottom of the chart where it shows the taxpayer liability for entitlements: over $1 million per taxpayer!

The line above shows that Assets Per Citizen is just under $250,000 per citizen. Roughly, we have $250,000 per citizen in assets and $1,000,000 per taxpayer in liabilities. Stated differently, we are more underwater than the housing market in Arizona and Nevada.

Now, look at The Federal Government Savings chart (government receipts less government expenditures). Notice any alarming change in government indebtedness starting in 2007 and spiking in 2009 and 2010?

Admit it, wouldn’t YOU be scared about the ability of the U.S. Federal government (or taxpayers) being able to pay the interest AND the principal?

Hell yeah, I’m scared.

I’ve got $250,000 in assets that of course I’ll never be able to profit from, versus a million dollars in debt that I’m actually on the hook for.  And when it all comes crashing down somebody’s going to want their money back – and I don’t got it.

And I’m afraid I won’t have the wheelbarrow full of money I’ll need to buy a loaf of bread, either.

Tipping Point Crossed: US Borrowing Exceeds 100% Of Entire U.S. Gross Domestic Product

The United States of America probably just passed a point of no return.

We now officially owe more than the entire annual output of 307 million Americans.

US debt shot up $238 billion to reach 100 percent of gross domestic project after the government’s debt ceiling was lifted, Treasury figures showed Wednesday.
 
Treasury borrowing jumped Tuesday, the data showed, immediately after President Barack Obama signed into law an increase in the debt ceiling as the country’s spending commitments reached a breaking point and it threatened to default on its debt.
 
The new borrowing took total public debt to $14.58 trillion, over end-2010 GDP of $14.53 trillion, and putting it in a league with highly indebted countries like Italy and Belgium.
 
Public debt subject to the official debt limit — a slightly tighter definition — was $14.53 trillion as of the end of Tuesday, rising from the previous official cap of $14.29 trillion a day earlier.
 
Treasury had used extraordinary measures to hold under the $14.29 trillion cap since reaching it on May 16, while politicians battled over it and over addressing the country’s bloating deficit.
 
The official limit was hiked $400 billion on Tuesday and will be increased in stages over the next 18 months.
 
The last time US debt topped the size of its annual economy was in 1947 just after World War II. By 1981 it had fallen to 32.5 percent.
 
Ratings agencies have warned the country to reduce its debt-to-GDP ratio quickly or facing losing its coveted AAA debt rating.
 
Moody’s said Tuesday that the government needed to stabilize the ratio at 73 percent by 2015 “to ensure that the long-run fiscal trajectory remains compatible with a AAA rating.”

And that’s really not the one-fourteenth of it.

America doesn’t owe $14.5 trillion; it owes more like $200 trillion:

Boston University economist Laurence Kotlikoff says U.S. government debt is not $13.5-trillion (U.S.), which is 60 per cent of current gross domestic product, as global investors and American taxpayers think, but rather 14-fold higher: $200-trillion – 840 per cent of current GDP. “Let’s get real,” Prof. Kotlikoff says. “The U.S. is bankrupt.”

Writing in the September issue of Finance and Development, a journal of the International Monetary Fund, Prof. Kotlikoff says the IMF itself has quietly confirmed that the U.S. is in terrible fiscal trouble – far worse than the Washington-based lender of last resort has previously acknowledged. “The U.S. fiscal gap is huge,” the IMF asserted in a June report. “Closing the fiscal gap requires a permanent annual fiscal adjustment equal to about 14 per cent of U.S. GDP.”

This sum is equal to all current U.S. federal taxes combined. The consequences of the IMF’s fiscal fix, a doubling of federal taxes in perpetuity, would be appalling – and possibly worse than appalling.

Prof. Kotlikoff says: “The IMF is saying that, to close this fiscal gap [by taxation], would require an immediate and permanent doubling of our personal income taxes, our corporate taxes and all other federal taxes.

“America’s fiscal gap is enormous – so massive that closing it appears impossible without immediate and radical reforms to its health care, tax and Social Security systems – as well as military and other discretionary spending cuts.”

At this point, it is really only a matter of time before this most selfish, depraved and vile of all generations that elected the most evil president in its nations history collapses on top of its children.

Republicans most certainly did try – and will continue to try – to keep this nation from slitting its collectivist throat and collapsing.  But the demonic Democrat Party demonized them at every turn, and the demonization takes its toll.  The American people don’t support doing the right thing, the necessary thing.  They have stage four soul cancer and they want cotton candy rather than chemotherapy.

The Democrat Party is the party of destruction.  We are less than five years away from Medicare going bankrupt.  But what do they do?  They demonize any attempt to save the system, and essentially demand that the system collapse so that it can help no one.  And they do that because they know that the people are too stupid to know the truth and too depraved to have any desire of bothering to want to find out.  Republicans propose solutions; democrats lie and fearmonger and demonize Republicans, and stupid and depraved people believe the poisonous propaganda.

And then Republicans buckle and cave.

And this has happened over and over again while America races along on the fast track to suicide and hell.

One of the facts that has been pointed out many times is that America is not in Bible prophecy.  I used to wonder why.  Now I know the answer: because America won’t exist in a very short time.  Demonic liberals will collapse this nation – in a process that started with FDR’s incredibly lethal and incredibly infectious policies – and there will be no United States of America to BE in the last days.  There will only be an insignificant banana republic – which will exist as the laughingstock of the world – where America used to be.

Democrats couldn’t care less if America isn’t in Bible prophecy because they neither honor God or His Word (see my response to Obama’s mocking and distortion of the Word of God here, fwiw).  And as a result of Democrat ignorance and hatred of the Bible, we are even now contributing significantly to the coming of the Antichrist and the last days that we ourselves won’t survive to witness.  Liberals have been attacking our Christian foundations for over one hundred years in their effort to impose their utopian socialist schemes and we are losing our liberty at a frenetic pace as a result. Without the self-evident truth and its corresponding God-given rights that the left long ago rejected, all we have is the tyranny of powerful elites who become self-appointed dictators who get to decide what’s true and what is politically incorrect, who wins and who loses and who is allowed to be free.  Not only has the socialism that the American left embraces failed every single time it has every been tried everywhere on the planet, but in most cases it has led to an unparalleled crushing of the human spirit.

The tragedy is that the disaster that will surely soon overtake America will have been the most foreseeable and the most preventable one to ever overtake a civilization in the history of the human race.  Anyone with a mind, a memory and a conscience can see what is about to happen; but in the future, just as there was in 2008, there will be enough depraved Americans to tip the scale for the sweet-sounding policies that will result in America’s decline, destruction and death.

This is God damn America.  And God damn America deserves to die, and die it surely will.

We might be able to shrug off the cancer of liberalism for a short time and prolong the life of our nation.  But liberalism is a cancer of the soul, and ultimately the cancer of liberalism will kill America.

And the line that we just crossed as a nation with barely so much as a “ho-hum” is a disastrous line to cross, indeed.
