Of Obama Democrats, Their Contempt For Freedom, And Their Vile Health Care Takeover

The American people are now finally beginning to realize the fact that “Democrat” actually stands for “Demonic bureaucrat,” rather than having anything whatsoever to do with “democracy.”

Let me quickly set a beautiful recent illustration for you:  Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick had just been asked by an interviewer about the Glenn Beck 8/28 “Restoring Honor” rally at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.  He was asked, “Are you troubled that it was there when it was and where it was?”

And Democrat Deval Patrick, the author of the “Just Words” speech that Obama pirated with such stunning success that it likely won him the presidency, responded:

“It’s a free a country.  I wish it weren’t, but it’s a free country.”

I guess “freedom” is just a word, too, isn’t it, Deval?

And of course Patrick wishes it wasn’t a free country.  Because he’s a Democrat, and Democrats have been fundamentally opposed to freedom ever since the REAL Lincoln that the Lincoln Memorial honored was fighting Democrats to free the slaves.

Let’s look at prominent Democrats’ statements and see if there’s any reason to worry about our freedom:

We can put Gov. Patrick’s wish that we didn’t have freedom into the context of  Rep. John Dingell’s (D-MI) remark:

Let me remind you this has been going on for years. We are bringing it to a halt. The harsh fact of the matter is when you’re going to pass legislation that will cover 300 American people in different ways it takes a long time to do the necessary administrative steps that have to be taken to put the legislation together to control the people.

So don’t you worry your stupid, ignorant (and if you live in Arizona racist) little proletariat heads, American people.  Democrats are taking care of you like the apathetic herd animals you are.  They’re ensuring your freedom from tyranny by incrementally taking over every aspect of your lives.

(CNSNews.com) – During his speech at a National Press Club luncheon, House Judiciary Chairman John Conyers (D-Mich.), questioned the point of lawmakers reading the health care bill.

“I love these members, they get up and say, ‘Read the bill,’” said Conyers.

“What good is reading the bill if it’s a thousand pages and you don’t have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill?”

And:

In remarks at the 2010 Legislative Conference for the National Association of Counties, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said, “But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of controversy.”

Senator Ben Nelson (D-NE), who – believe it or not – is on the record as being the AUTHOR of the ObamaCare legislation:

“I don’t think you want me to waste my time to read every page of the health care bill. You know why? It’s statutory language,” Baucus said. “We hire experts.”

That’s right.  You can’t understand the bill.  Even our congressmen who voted for it didn’t bother to read it.  If you want to know what’s in the bill, you have to first bite into it like mystery meat and vote on it first.  And, of course, reading the bill is a complete waste of time.  If the experts in Washington think so, then it surely must be true.  So don’t read it, because there’ s a long, ugly process about controlling the people.

These Democrats were outraged – OUTRAGED – that the unwashed masses would dare – would DARE – to read the bill that they wouldn’t bother themselves to read and point out the many lies Democrats were spouting off to defend a bill that (and I must say it again) they didn’t even bother to read.

Obama and the Democrat Party assured us that ObamaCare would “lower the cost curve.”  That’s now been revealed to have been a whopping lie, just like Republicans yelled themselves hoarse predicting.  Even Democrats are now walking away from their false claims upon which they rammed this boondoggle legislation through.  But now we’re cursed with this terrible and frankly evil legislation that may well be the fiduciary anvil that broke the camel’s back.  And as we speak, health care premiums are soaring in advance of and because of ObamaCare.

In the same way, Obama and the Democrat Party promised that Americans would be able to keep their doctors and their plans if they chose to do so.  That was just another vile lie.  As Peter Ferrara of the Heartland Institute points out based on its study of ObamaCare:

“The bottom line is that you will lose your health care under this legislation, if not your job, your country as they bankrupt America, and maybe ultimately your life or the life of a loved one.  All that to make dreamy, emotionalized, liberals happy, even though many of them are not happy because the socialism in the bill is not overt enough. Moreover, the promises made to the American people to pass the bill are shown in the study to be thoroughly false.”

The fact of the matter is that the Democrats who didn’t even bother to read the damn bill – or more precisely the “God damn America” bill – may have just passed “The Freedom Enslavement Act” and dubbed it “ObamaCare.”  Because let us never forget that it was DEMOCRATS who passed The Fugitive Slave Act.  The passage of ObamaCare triggered the creation of more than 160 new boards, bureaucracies, programs, and commissions – or shall I call them death panels, given what we’re already starting to see?  And ignorant and despicable Democrat fools were just as certain that they were the champions of freedom when they were imposing slavery as they are today.

Democrat = Demonic bureaucrat.  Vote them out, or suffer the catastrophic result of “God damn America.”

In an incredible news break just as I prepare to publish this, Democrat Ron Wyden – who was one of the principle backers of ObamaCare – has just defected and ran, not walked away from the profoundly freedom-slaughtering legislation he voted for.

The Utter Farce of ‘Green Jobs’

A few questions to ask yourself as you’re reading this article.

If green energy is so good, or is in any way the ‘wave of the future,’ then how come it has to be so massively subsidized with government money?  Why aren’t private businesses putting their own money into this?

Another question I want you to consider is how expensive green energy is when compared to the energy produced by fossil fuels (I will answer that after the article below).  And a final question you might ask might be, when are people going to finally wake up and stop believing idiotic liberal lies and wake up to reality?

Boston firm shifts ‘green jobs’ to China

President Obama and the Democratic majority in Congress are spending billions of tax dollars to subsidize development of “green jobs” – positions for people and companies designing and manufacturing alternative energy sources such as biomass, wind and solar.

One of Obama’s buddies, Gov. Deval Patrick of Massachusetts, is also a vocal advocate of such subsidies. Last year, Patrick put Massachusetts taxpayers’ money where is mouth is by backing a $58 million package of incentives and subsidies to Evergreen Solar, which manufacturers collector panels used in solar energy units.

Now barely a year later, Evergreen has announced that it is moving its final assembly phase to a factory in China, according to the Boston Globe. The firm’s Devens, Massachusetts, plant currently employs 577 full-time and 230 contract workers in designing and manufacturing the silicon wafers and cells that are then assembled into panels.

A company spokesman declined to say how many jobs will be shifted to the new assembly plant in China, according to the Globe.

“In exchange for receiving $58.6 million in grants, loans, land, tax incentives, and other aid to build in Massachusetts, Evergreen pledged that it would add 350 new jobs, a goal that it has, to date, far surpassed. However, the company disclosed in a financial filing yesterday that it would write off $40 million worth of equipment at Devens because of the production shift to China,” the Globe reported.

“The company has been a poster child of the Patrick administration’s efforts to develop a ‘green energy’ industry cluster in Massachusetts. But it has been struggling financially because of increased competition from overseas producers and rapidly falling prices for solar products. It recently persuaded the state to lend it another $5 million to cover equipment purchases, though the state has not yet released the funds,” the Globe said.

Evergreen has lost at least $167 million so far in 2009, according to the Globe. Last year during the same period, the company’s losses totalled only $33.6 million. Following announcement of the move to China, the company’s stock closed at $1.42 per share, down six cents per share.

So let’s see.  The poster boy for ‘green jobs’ got a $58 million handout, managed to lose $167 million in 2009, and is outsourcing its labor force to China.

If you think that’s the ‘wave of the future,’ then vote Democrat.  And may your children freeze in the dark at night for your moral idiocy.

Take a moment to ponder what Obama said about the impact of his own plan:

“Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.”

Why is that?  Why is it that green energy has to be subsidized, even as fossil fuel energy – even when it is regulated and taxed and outlawed – is still so much less expensive than the green energy that Obama wants to impose on America?

Fossil fuels are so much cheaper, so much more efficient, so much more powerful, and so much more superior, to Obama’s green energy it is utterly unreal.

This should start to explain why ‘green energy’ has to be massively subsidized, and is still a dud even when fossil fuel energy is massively taxed.  This is why nobody with a clue would put his own money into green energy, apart from the belief that a socialist government will impose insanity on the energy system.

Barack Obama wants to bankrupt coal – which costs less than one cent per kilowatt hour – and wants to impose in its place something that will cost more than forty times more.  How will you like it when your energy rates go up forty times higher?

And the only way to avoid your energy costs going up beyond your ability to be able to afford it – under Obama’s own announced plan – is to massively, massively subsidize the cost of that green energy.  At the cost of far more government debt, and on the backs of your children’s children’s children’s children’s children.  Assuming that we don’t economically implode into a banana republic first, which is far more likely.

And Obama is selling this load of crap to you based on two lies.  Lie one is the giant load of hooey of global warming.  And lie two is the bogus economic advantages we would supposedly get from replacing our energy source with one that would cost us eight to forty times more.

We’ve been told for well over a decade that we had reached a tipping point where the earth could no longer handle the CO2 humans were creating, such that we would experience a massive increase in global warming.

Yeah, right:

Bastardi predicts that the winter of 2009-2010 is shaping up like the snowy winters experienced during the Hippie-Vietnam War era. “It’ll be like the great winters of the ’60s and ’70s,” he said.

And this historic cold is a global phenomenon.

It’s like a desert out there, Al Gore.  But at least it’s a dry heat.

CO2 did go up, but there has never been a demonstrable link between CO2 and global temperatures.

We recently found out that the climatologists who were preaching global warming to line their own pockets were liars, frauds and demagogues.

Environmentalists and leftists want to seize $40 TRILLION of your money to “solve” the “crisis” of global warming.

This is an enormously ambitious goal, but many experts agree it could make a real difference. The problem is that the cure may be worse than the disease. In a paper for the Copenhagen Consensus Center, climate economist Richard Tol, a lead author for the U.N. climate panel, determined that to cut carbon emissions enough to meet the 2° goal, the leading industrial nations would have to slap a huge tax on carbon-emitting fuels — one that by the end of the century would reach something on the order of $4,000 per metric ton of carbon dioxide, or $35 per gallon of gas ($9 per liter). According to Tol, the impact of a tax hike of this magnitude could reduce world GDP 12.9% in 2100 — the equivalent of $40 trillion a year. In other words, to save ourselves $3 trillion a year, we’d be giving up $40 trillion a year. No wonder we’re not getting anywhere.

So make that $40 TRILLION PER YEAR.

This is nothing but a socialist redistributionist power-grab, intended to secure the leftist agenda and ensure leftist totalitarian domination for a century to come.

And the Democrats attempt to seize control over health care is no different.  They don’t want to improve anything but their dominance.  And they will use any means to secure that dominance.

Don’t believe these transparent lies.  Fight these people.  Vote them out of power.  Vote them right off the island.  Or you will pay dearly for the agenda they impose upon you and your family.

Update, January 8: Obama is pitching billions more in funding for green jobs while our unemployment rate climbs.  I guess he wants to piss more billions down the toilet.

Kennedy Asks for Faster Way to Pick His Successor

Senator Edward M. Kennedy of Massachusetts, terminally ill with brain cancer, has asked state legislative leaders to change the law and let Gov. Deval Patrick appoint a temporary replacement upon the senator’s death.

Under current law, the seat would be vacant until a special election could be held 145 to 160 days later. But Senator Kennedy, a 77-year-old Democrat, wrote in a letter to the governor that he wanted Massachusetts to have full representation in the Senate during that period.

Although he did not mention the issue in the letter, it is becoming increasingly clear that Democratic votes will be crucial to passing the health care legislation that is the subject of intense Congressional debate. Senator Kennedy has been a passionate supporter of overhauling the nation’s health care system, but his absence from the debate and from public life in recent months has raised speculation that he will not be well enough to cast a vote when the time comes.

Should Senator Kennedy die before then, it is likely that, under current law, his seat would still be vacant when the legislation came up for a vote in the Senate.

Mr. Patrick and legislative leaders, all Democrats, did not immediately offer opinions on the senator’s request, which was first reported in The Boston Globe.

“It’s typical of Ted Kennedy to be thinking ahead and about the people of Massachusetts,” Mr. Patrick said in a statement, “when the rest of us are thinking about him.”

In a joint statement, Robert DeLeo, speaker of the State House of Representatives, and Therese Murray, president of the Senate, said: “We have great respect for the Senator and what he continues to do for our Commonwealth and our nation. It is our hope that he will continue to be a voice for the people of Massachusetts as long as he is able.”

Up until 2004, state law called for the governor to appoint a temporary replacement for a Senate seat that became vacant. But in that year, when Senator John Kerry, a Democrat, was running for president, the Democratic-controlled Legislature wanted to deny the governor at the time — Mitt Romney, a Republican — the power to name a replacement if Mr. Kerry won the presidency.

In his letter, Mr. Kennedy, who has held his seat for 47 years, wrote that he supported the 2004 law, but he added, “I also believe it is vital for this Commonwealth to have two voices speaking for the needs of its citizens and two votes in the Senate during the approximately five months between a vacancy and an election.”

The New York Times, of course, makes it all about what a magnificently wise and noble man Ted Kennedy is, always thinking ahead and thinking of others.  They forget to mention what a blatantly crass partisan political move this would be.

The same people who nominated a “wise Latina” whose rulings would be better than a white male’s – and who frankly don’t give a damn about justice being blind as regard to race, gender, or political affiliation – have struck again.

First they write a law and pass it in order to prevent a Republican governor from being able to appoint a senator if John Kerry was elected president – as the law had previously required – and now they want to change it back for the sake of the same partisan special interest that led them to change it in the first place.

That’s right.  When John Kerry was running for president, Ted Kennedy decided to change Massachusetts law to prevent Republican Governor Mitt Romney from being able to appoint the new US Senator should Kerry win.  It was naked special interest partisan ideology at work, but what the hell.  And now that there’s a Democrat governor, and Ted Kennedy realizes he may not make it, he wants to change the law back to favor Democrat special interest partisan ideology again.

Basically the law is whatever the hell Democrats want it to be at any given moment – which is really the way it’s been ever since Democrats first began to gaze into the constitutional crystal ball and see penumbras and emanations.

These people would be ashamed of themselves – if they had any shame.

Tragically, and shamefully, Americans will probably look the other way while Democrats prove that we are no longer a nation of law, but rather only a nation of partisan politics.
