ObamaCare Actually WeinerCare (Anthony Weiner: ‘I wrote the bill… The bill and I are one’)

June 10, 2011

Ah, memories.

Remember how Nancy Pelosi famously crowed, “But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of controversy“?  Somehow enough of that “fog of controversy” have enveloped ObamaCare that this dishonest woman managed to get 1/5th of all the waivers from the fascist provisions of the bill she wanted so badly for her district.

ObamaCare is something that smells terrible; but once you “find out what is in it,” it becomes even LESS appetizing.

How about finding out THIS about it, for example: ObamaCare is actually WeinerCare:

Weiner says he ‘wrote’ the House health care bill

Here’s a clip of Rep. Anthony Weiner at a town hall meeting, asked about the health care bill, declaring, “I wrote the bill. … The bill and I are one.”

Weiner made the comments on Monday night at the Middle Village Property Tax Association, taking rather strong ownership of the congressional reform bill that few are embracing when a voter asked about it. Weiner had been a strong advocate for a single-payer option, which was never part of the final drafts.

The Senate version of the health care bill had most of the elements that actually passed, not the House one. Weiner’s little-known GOP opponent, Bob Turner, was also there, as were Democratic officials including state Sen. Joe Addabbo and Assemblyman Andrew Hevesi, I’m told.

Anthony Weiner is almost certainly going to have to resign because it is now a matter of public record that he is a dishonest and degenerate piece of obscene moral filfth.

I shudder to contemplate that Weiner may have a lasting legacy: being “one” with the bill that destroyed America.
