Nakedly Political Democrats Who Praised Integrity Of FBI Director Comey In July Now Slandering And Demonizing Him in October

I find it beyond hilarious how twisted and dishonest Democrats truly are.

Back in July, Republicans were STUNNED to hear FBI Director Comey go down a long list of things that Hillary Clinton should have been thrown into jail for, but that he wasn’t going to go forward with any charges because apparently if you walk into a bank with a gun, a bag and a mask and rob the place, that by no means proves you “intended” to rob it.  Democrats immediately surrounded the FBI Director and praised him and exalted his virtue and his integrity that were now demonstrated beyond ANY question – and to attack anyone (read any REPUBLICAN) who was upset by Comey’s action/nonaction.

Just remember, Anthony Weiner, YES you sexted a 15-year-old girl, YES you are a damn worthless pervert, BUT YOU DIDN’T INTEND TO DO IT.  I mean, just like Hillary, NO PEDOPHILE EVER MEANT TO DO IT, SO LET THEM ALL GO.

Remember that, back in July?  It wasn’t that long ago, you know.  Hopefully you have a better memory than Hillary Clinton does, given the fact that she said “I can’t remember” forty damn times to the FBI when they were soft-peddle-interviewing her.

Nancy Pelosi had her “great man” comments about Comey:

“This is a great man. We are very privileged in our country to have him be the director of the FBI.”

FBI Director Comey is a great man.  We’re privileged to have him as our FBI Director.  Democrats stated that in July.

Hilary Clinton lauded the FBI under Comey for handling investigations so “very professionally”:

“I greatly appreciate the work that the FBI and the Department of Justice did — and they handled it very professionally,”

Hillary’s VP choice had this to say based on his personal knowledge of Comey:

“What I do know is this: that there was an extensive, as you know Bret, investigation by the FBI under the direction of a wonderful and tough career public servant, Jim Comey.

Jim was in the U.S. Attorney’s office in the in the Eastern District of Virginia when I was the mayor of Richmond, and he’s somebody with the highest standards of integrity.”

Rep. Elijah Cummings probably put it best at that time back in July:

“No matter what recommendation you made, you were sure to be criticized,” Cummings said. “In a sense, Mr. Director, you are on trial.”

The Democratic congressman praised the “extremely thorough” job the FBI did in their investigation while slamming Republicans for politicizing the final recommendation.
“Amazingly, amazingly, some Republicans who were praising you just days ago for your independence, for your integrity, and your honesty, instantly turned against you, because your recommendation conflicted with the predetermined outcome they wanted,” Cummings said. “In their eyes, you had one job. And one job only: to prosecute Hillary Clinton. But you refused to do so. So now you are being summoned here to answer for your alleged transgressions.”

Do you remember that?  James Comey can do no wrong.  It is impossible he could have mismanaged or bungled or intentionally politicized an investigation.  We have the Democrat Party’s word on that.  It is set in stone that James Comey is a man incapable of being a political stooge.

I remember how the Republicans were literally the sleeziest people on the face of the earth for even daring to suggest that, in spite of the Attorney General getting caught red-handed having a secret meeting with Bill Clinton days before Comey spoke, that there could ever be any question whatsoever that Comey was the icon of integrity and decency and objectivity and that questioning him amounted to proof of Nazism.

Now all of a sudden the shoe is on the other damn BUTTHURT foot, isn’t it?

And suddenly the Democrats who were “amazingly, amazingly, praising Comey just days ago for his independence, for his integrity, for his honesty, have instantly turned against him, because his recommendation conflicted with the predetermined outcome Democrats thought they had in the damn bag,” are suddenly screaming the way they were so insulted and horrified and offended at Republicans for doing.

Democrat Senator Harry Reid basically just said that FBI Director Comey is a criminal and should be arrested and prosecuted:

Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid said FBI Director James Comey may have violated a federal law when he disclosed, less than two weeks before the presidential election, that his office was pursuing potential new evidence related to Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server as secretary of state.

Mr. Reid was preparing to send a letter to Mr. Comey on Sunday saying he appears to be aiding one political party over another. He said that may violate the Hatch Act, which bars government officials from using their position to influence an election.

“I am writing to inform you that my office has determined that these actions may violate the Hatch Act,” the Senate minority leader wrote, according to a draft of the letter provided to The Wall Street Journal. “Through your partisan actions, you may have broken the law.”

Most Democrats have jumped on the “Comey should be lynched!” bandwagon since the FBI Director revealed that THOUSANDS more emails had just turned up that they didn’t know about.

I’m laughing like a CROW right now.  Because turnabout is such fair play.

By their own damn WORDS Democrats are now proven to be corrupt and dishonest for even daring to question that FBI Director Comey even MIGHT have done anything improper or wrong, having already vouched for his integrity beyond any scintilla of doubt.

Only a NAZI would dare to question the independence and the integrity and the honesty of the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

I never ceased to be amazed at the naked chutzpah hypocrisy that Democrats routinely demonstrate on a nanosecondly basis.  They know that the most dishonest and most perverted media machine that has ever existed – and yes, I’m aware of the Nazi Ministry of Propaganda and the Soviet TASS, btw – will NEVER characterize Democrats as the political sleazebags that they truly are.

The only way something like THAT can ever happen is if, you know, a billion tons of emails that neither the mainstream media nor the Democrat Party ever intended to get published start getting published that reveal what insects these liberals truly are.

Because there is NO POSSIBLE WAY the rigged damn system where the fecal matter roles from the Democrats on down rather than any other direction would have EVER been honest if it weren’t for your work.

Even Politifact has acknowledged that the WikiLeaks email dumps are NOT doctored and that the emails are genuine.  Hillary’s pick for VP claimed that one about him was doctored, and that one turned out to be completely genuine, which means that Kaine unsurprisingly turns out to be a genuine liar.

The liberal establishment – which includes “journalists” as much as hardcore Clinton campaign staffers – has been playing the Russian game.  “Russia did this and can we really trust Russia?”  That’s been the narrative.  And I’m like, “We sure can trust Russia more than somebody who purged 33,000 emails and then used BleachBit to make those emails irretrievable AFTER those emails were under congressional subpoena, and who smashed thirteen iPhones with hammers.”

So let’s go down the list of what’s happened since Attorney General Lynch showed up on a runway and had a secret meeting with Bill Clinton with her FBI detail keeping people away and forbidding any smart phones or cameras from the area.

First we learned about a quid pro quo deal between the State Department and a top FBI official, in which the FBI was supposed to alter the classification of an email (remember how Hillary kept saying she had no classified emails on her private server but there obviously WERE classified emails and so the truth had to be whitewashed?) and in exchange the State Department would provide more foreign posts for the FBI.

We learned that Barack Obama DID in fact know – contrary to what he told the American people – that Hillary Clinton was in fact using an illegal, secret server, and that he used a code name/pseudonym to communicate with her on that illegal, secret server.  See also here for the Politico story.

Then we learned that top Clinton ally and current Democrat Governor of Virginia Terry McAuliffe donated nearly half a million dollars to the campaign of the wife of Federal Bureau of Investigation deputy director Andrew McCabe.  And oh, by the way, McCabe had oversight into Clinton’s email scandal.

We found out that the Obama White House was actively coordinating with Hillary Clinton and the State Department to play shenanigans with Clinton’s email scandal.

We’re finding out new crap all the time.  The Hillary Clinton campaign will pick up from the Obama regime: it’s like a giant octopus of corruption and dirty insider dealing: who does Obama’s “Justice” Department assing to this already-documented-to-be-completely-corrupt “investigation”?  Why, they assign Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik who we just found out gave Hillary’s campaign manager Podesta an illegal “heads up” regarding the email investigation.  Podesta says that Kadzik “Kept me out of jail” during the Clinton’s previous corrupt Whitewater case because 1) the Clintons are corrupt and always have been corrupt; and 2) everybody around the Clintons belongs in jail.

I have a feeling I’m missing a couple of FBI and Justice officials – because there has been a freaking AVALANCHE of crap the last couple of weeks about just how damn dirty and corrupt all these roaches are – but that will do for now.

This is THE most pathologically corrupt administration in the entire history of the United States, and probably the world.  Barack Obama makes Richard Nixon look like the damn paradigm of political virtue by comparison; and the only administration that could be even MORE corrupt is the Hillary Clinton administration.

Vote for HELL; vote for HILLARY.

I have a theory as to why FBI Dir. Comey sent the letter to Congress announcing he was continuing the investigation of Clinton: because the Obama “Justice” Department was playing games with him over giving him a warrant to examine the Weiner trove of emails and as of Saturday night had STILL refused to give the FBI that warrant.  It was only SUNDAY – TWO DAYS AFTER Comey wrote to Congress – that the Justice Department granted the FBI’s request for a warrant that they SHOULD have already granted had they not been playing political games.  I believe Comey came to realize the corruption of Obama and everything that Obama has touched – such as his Department of Injustice – and he decided to take his case to the American people.  Because otherwise the revelations of Hillary’s criminality would have been stalled until after the election.

The Hatch Act “bars government officials from using their position to influence an election,” recall.  What I contend is that it has been Barack Obama, Loretta Lynch and Hillary Clinton who violated the damn Hatch Act along with numerous other laws as they tried to prevent Comey and his agents from being able to do their damn job.  Again, we’ve got Obama and his White House and Hillary Clinton and her former State Department twisting into pretzels to coordinate obstructing any investigation into Clinton’s criminality.  Comey saw what was happening and said “Enough.”

Furthermore, we now know that career FBI agents – young and retired alike – were FURIOUS at allowing Clinton to get off when her guilt was beyond obvious.  Comey was seeing a giant stack of resignation letters from ethical agents who could no longer stomach working for a corrupt political agency that the FBI had become under Obama.

The FBI and the Justice Department will remain for all time organization of cheap political thugs unless and until Hillary Clinton and NUMEROUS OBAMA OFFICIALS are arrested, placed on trial and properly convicted for their crimes against the United States of America.

If Comey didn’t break the news the way he did on Friday, it’s a good bet that the agents would have leaked it Saturday.  Because the FBI whitewash of Hillary in July was WRONG and there were agents who weren’t going to stand for it.

Still another thing to consider is the “red hot mess” that Comey was in and why he was IN that mess to begin with.  Remember how Obama was conspiring with the Clinton team on the emails with the State Department?  Remember how that smells now given the fact that for some inexplicable reason, Obama’s AG Loretta Lynch was caught red-handed having a secret, unethical meeting with Bill Clinton just before the investigation results were announced.  Lynch was forced to recuse herself and say it was all up to Comey.  And so Comey had to give that announcement in July and appear before Congress to justify his conclusions.  And in that appearance he promised he would notify Congress if anything changed.  Which it of course did.

And if you don’t mind my saying so, Hillary is the BIGGEST reason all this just came out.  Hillary stalled and stalled and stalled some more.  She literally stalled this investigation for YEARS.  And Obama Attorney General Loretta Lynch steadfastly for the last two years has refused to allow ANY Grand Jury for ANY of the numerous credible charges against Clinton.  This crap could have been resolved a long damn time ago if somebody in the Obama or Clinton camp had just had any kind of ethics whatsoever.  If this bombshell is coming out now, she could have arranged it to have come out two damn YEARS ago if she’d just been honest back then.  And we keep hearing that this Comey announcement is so “unprecedented,” and just remember what is truly unprecedented is to have a Secretary of State install a secret, illegal server, and then purge 33,000 emails while that server was under subpoena – THEN USE BLEACHBIT TO MAKE THE CONTENTS UNRECOVERABLE – and smash more than a dozen iPhones with hammers to ensure no one would ever see the crooked deals on them.  THAT is what is unprecedented.  Hillary was WRONG. literally CRIMINAL to use that secret, illegal server.  She was WRONG. literally CRIMINAL  to purge those emails.  She was WRONG. literally CRIMINAL to use BleachBit to wipe her server – you know, “like with a cloth” – and she was WRONG. literally CRIMINAL to smash those iPhones that were U.S. government property and should have been turned IN rather than destroyed.

Democrats talk about Russia trying to rig the election.  You mean the way the Democratic Party got caught RED-HANDED RIGGING THE PRIMARY ELECTION AGAINST BERNIE SANDERS AND FOR HILLARY CLINTON???  You remember how Debbie Wasserman Schultz was forced to RESIGN for her part in that?  Where is that disgrace fascist hack now?  Hillary hired her, of course!!!!

Hillary Clinton is FINE with election rigging, and that is a proven, documented FACT.

And if that doesn’t tell you enough about just how COCKROACH VILE Democrats truly are, realize that Debbie Wasserman Schultz – who got caught red-handed being a fascist anti-democratic election rigger and therefore had to resign – was replaced by Donna Brazile – who herself just got caught helping Hillary Clinton CHEAT during the damn debates and just had to resign.  In point of fact it’s the worst case of debate cheating in U.S. political history.  This is THE most dishonest political party in American history and the last TWO DNC Chairs proves it.  It is now a documented factual statement that “honest” and “Democrat” are mutually exclusive and contradictory terms the way “square” and “circle” are.  It’s moral nonsense to use “honest” and “Democrat” together any more.

And I can legitimately use terms such as “fascist” and even “Nazi” to describe Democrats after what we’ve learned: the Democrat Party was directly involved in instigating VIOLENCE against Donald Trump rallies even as they dishonestly claimed TRUMP was the one who was violent.  Democrats have literally become Nazi Party jackbooted Brownshirt thugs.  The Democrat Party violence was directed by a career Democratic operative who currently worked for Hillary Clinton and who during the Obama years had been at the Obama White House going on 400 damn times.

Meanwhile, the WikiLeaks continue to expose who this vile shrew Hillary Clinton truly is, and how dishonest her entire party is.  Just today, we learn that the very self-same Huma Abedin who is at the center of the latest FBI investigation was at the center of a truly crooked deal to get the Clintons $12 million ON THE CONDITION THAT (read “quid pro quo”) that Hillary Clinton make a personal appearance in Morocco and give one of her numerous massively-well-paid sell-out America speeches to the world’s highest and mightiest.  Oh, and it was Hillary’s IDEA to do this!!!Remember that?  Hillary’s goon Robby Mook said that there was NO EVIDENCE OF PAY-TO-PLAY.  But only just today we have the same Mook in emails saying the exact OPPOSITE, saying, “This is why Morocco would be such a problem…”  We have Clinton staffers playing games with semantics, saying, “Maybe instead of calling it an attendance fee we can call it a membership fee.”  Because what the Clintons were doing was DIRTY and it LOOKED DIRTY and you’ve got to tell the media what to tell the unwashed masses because we don’t want Americans realizing what a corrupt bunch of thugs the Clintons are and have on their payrolls.  These emails aren’t out yet, reporters are just talking about it now.  But I’ll have them sourced when they appear in print.

Huma Abedin was interviewed by the FBI and they most likely asked her if she had any other secret email stashes.  And very apparently she said of COURSE she didn’t.  But she did.  Apparently more than half a damn MILLION of them.  And the metadata searches reveal that she had stuff from Hillary Clinton that was CLASSIFIED.  And disgraced blackmail-threat Anthony Weiner had access to all of that!!!  That laptop computer would have gone the way of Hillary’s iPhones, but it had Weiner’s child porn on it, and so he protected his precioussss.  And Huma lied to protect her pervert husband and I wouldn’t be surprised if ALL Democrats either have pervert husbands or are THEMSELVES pervert husbands.  So Hillary’s lifelong criminal co-conspirator Huma lied to the FBI and now we’re back in Investigation Land.  Not exactly James Comey’s fault, was it???   At least, unless you’re a Democrat, which is another way to say “a complete moral idiot.”

In the firestorm that’s going to follow as you hear Democrats and their media allies viciously attack FBI Director James Comey, just remember that any suggestion that FBI Director Comey is anything but honest is simply awful according that same elite liberal establishment just three months ago.

 

 

 

 

 

 

So What’s The Difference Between ‘Gross Negligence’ And ‘Extreme Carelessness’ Again? Director Comey? Why Are You Leaving?

Well, this comes as a great big fat giant surprise from THE most corrupt and dishonest regime in American political history, bar none: Obama won’t indict Hillary Clinton.

FBI Director Comey, sweating like a pig in a steamroom, blathered his blathering and then promptly walked out as reporters shouted follow-up questions such as the one I feature in my title.  The reason is there was absolutely no answer to the reporters’ questions.

Contemplate the wording of 18 U.S. Code § 793(f) and see for yourself that the word “intent” or any synonym for “intent” is NEVER mentioned:

Whoever, being entrusted with or having lawful possession or control of any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, note, or information, relating to the national defense, (1) through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust, or to be lost, stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, or (2) having knowledge that the same has been illegally removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of its trust, or lost, or stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, and fails to make prompt report of such loss, theft, abstraction, or destruction to his superior officer—

Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.

It has NOTHING to do with intent.  It specifically deals with incompetence and with gross negligence and with extreme carelessness.  Comey even said so himself:

Our investigation looked at whether there is evidence classified information was improperly stored or transmitted on that personal system, in violation of a federal statute making it a felony to mishandle classified information either intentionally or in a grossly negligent way, or a second statute making it a misdemeanor to knowingly remove classified information from appropriate systems or storage facilities.

Do you see that word “or”???  I’m glad you do; because after laying out crystal clear proof that Hillary Clinton was guilty, GUILTY, GUILTY, he somehow managed to forget it was there and punted to an inability to find “intent” and so walked away from his job of following the damn LAW.

There are OTHER laws dealing with committing acts that DO deal with intent; but the framers of our legal system realized that if some stupid, incompetent, “extremely careless” fool blows up the world by some act of sheer depraved indifference or incompetence, THERE OUGHT TO BE CONSEQUENCES even if investigators aren’t able to prove that the person had the INTENT to be such a damn fool.

Hillary Clinton should have been charged with a crime.  She set this whole fiasco in motion BY HERSELF when she did something that NO cabinet-level government official had EVER done and installed a personal, private secret server to avoid any and all transparency and accountability so SHE could maintain control over documents and determine what she could delete and purge in a way that she could NOT have had by using a public company’s email system (Google, Yahoo, GMail) or by using the government system she was SUPPOSED to use but never even ONCE did.  I submit that that act alone was all the “intent” you need to go after her for even the harshest penalties under the other laws that DO involve intent.

There is NO QUESION now that Hillary Clinton put our sacred national security at risk.  There is NO QUESTION that the lives of our most heroic front-line warriors and spies were jeopardized because of what she did.  FBI Director Comey confirmed those facts today.

But the same FBI agents who followed orders to refuse to allow anyone to photograph, video or in any way record Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s secret meeting with Hillary Clinton’s husband Bill are the ones who are saying, “Trust us.  This is all completely above board.”

And they walked away from this investigation every bit as much as Sweaty Comey walked away from the podium after delivering his politically-driven verdict.

That has been the thing that has bothered me the most greatly ever since I found out about it.  Yes, Obama is corrupt; yes, Loretta Lynch is a political hack; yes, FBI Director Comey is at best a career government shill who will do his master’s bidding.  But when I found out that rank-and-file FBI agents would be acting like Nazis with people’s phones and cameras to cover up a secret meeting, well, I made a very big deal about that at the time: I even put it in boldface type at the time because it struck me as so important and so revealing.  And it matters because the same sort of FBI agents who were actively carrying out Lynch’s unlawful orders are the same sort of FBI agents who were doing this “investigation.”

No one should be surprised that this whole stinking mess – in which a paranoid, fascist Secretary of State who has a long and amply documented history of corruption would have a secret private server installed to bypass any transparency or accountability laws and then used her secret server to treat our country’s national security with abject contempt – would end up being whitewashed.

We know there are two sets of rules.  And that to be a Democrats is to be the worst form of hypocrite.

We know that Barack Obama endorsed Hillary Clinton’s candidacy prior to FBI Director Comey’s announcement of his “investigation.”  We know that Hillary’s husband Bill had a secret meeting days prior to that allegedly uncompromised and [Comey claimed] and not coordinated or reviewed announcement.  We know that Barack Obama – this very day – is publicly campaigning with Hillary Clinton, which he would NEVER have done unless he KNEW FOR CERTAIN what the results of the FBI investigation would be in advance.

We know this entire sham masquerading as “justice” is a giant crock.  Obama would not have endorsed Hillary if she was about to be indicted.  Liberal Democrat appointee Loretta Lynch – after getting busted having a secret meeting with Clinton that stinks to the highest heavens – would not have said she was going to accept whatever the FBI recommended unless she already knew in advance that the FBI wouldn’t recommend indicting the Democratic Party nominee.  And Obama without any question would not be flying around campaigning with Hillary on Air Force One – by amazing coincidence scheduled on the very day that Comey spoke his “no one knows what I’m about to say” speal – if he didn’t know in advance she was not going to be indicted.

We also know that Barack Obama, on April 10, said that on his own view, that what Hillary did was “careless.”  And lo and behold, that pre- and foreordained conclusion was exactly the one that was found.  Comey even used the exact same word that Obama had prompted him to use: “careless.”

I simply state as a categorical fact that FBI Director Comey lied when he claimed that his office had not coordinated with any other government department.  Of COURSE it was coordinated: Obama knew in advance, Loretta Lynch knew in advance, and Bill Clinton met with Loretta Lynch so the Clinton campaign could know in advance.  He might be a good man; but he is a man who was put under a terrible vice.  And he blinked.  And he didn’t take the stand for the truth and for justice that he should have taken.  Instead he played the game.  And it is the very same game that is causing this nation to go down the toilet bowl of history.

You’ve got this kabuki theater play going on.  There’s an “investigation” going on, but the president of the United States told us what the FBI would say, as if to say “Speak!” to a trained dog – and sure enough the trained dog spoke on que.  In the week leading up to this kabuki theater, the Attorney General has a secret meeting with the husband of the subject of the investigation during which FBI agents order people to take no pictures, no video, and use no cell phones around the secret meeting.  The same FBI that “investigated” Hillary protected husband Bill’s secret, outrageous meeting.  As a result of that meeting, the Attorney General said she would accept the finding of the FBI who had protected her secret, outrageous meeting with Bill Clinton.  And then the FBI told us that surprise, surprise, the whole investigation turned up exactly – down to the very word choice – what Obama had declared the FBI would find.

The whole thing is beyond outrageous on its face.

But the one thing that Comey DID do to his credit was expose the massive avalanche of lies that have characterized every single Hillary Clinton utterance:

Hillary Clinton looked the American people in the eye and initially told them that she pulled this stunt because she wanted to have the convenience of using only one device for email.  Boy did Director Comey ever blow that flat-out LIE out of the water.  How did Comey put that?

I have so far used the singular term, “e-mail server,” in describing the referral that began our investigation. It turns out to have been more complicated than that. Secretary Clinton used several different servers and administrators of those servers during her four years at the State Department, and used numerous mobile devices to view and send e-mail on that personal domain. As new servers and equipment were employed, older servers were taken out of service, stored, and decommissioned in various ways. Piecing all of that back together—to gain as full an understanding as possible of the ways in which personal e-mail was used for government work—has been a painstaking undertaking, requiring thousands of hours of effort.

This lying shrew was using ALL KINDS of devices.  And we find that her early story about the server having been set up for husband Bill and kept in his office and guarded by the Secret Service was such a complete and outright lie it is beyond unreal.  Unless former president Bill Clinton’s office was in a bathroom closet in Denver.  I think she lied to the maximum possible threshold a liar can lie on that one.

Hillary Clinton looked the American people in the eye and claimed that what she did was allowed and was even common practice.  It didn’t matter what even the State Department Inspector General said to the outright contrary: that what Hillary did was NOT allowed and that there is no record that Hillary Clinton ever even TRIED to authorize it.  Hillary Clinton was a liar and she stuck with her lie through thick and through thin.  There was absolutely no way to stop the worst liar in the history of planet earth from lying.  So when FBI Director Comey came out and categorically stated that Hillary Clinton should have known this most basic and simple fact and that no reasonable person would have acted the way she did, you know that even THAT won’t put the kibosh on Hillary’s claim that what she did was “allowed” – presumably by the demon voices screaming in her head.

Hillary Clinton looked the American people in the eye and told them that she had turned over every single one of her work-related emails.  And then purged her server on or about December 5, 2014.  AFTER the House of Representatives lawfully subpoenaed that server.  She looked us all in the eye and said, “I responded right away and provided all my emails that could possibly be work related” to the State Department.  Only oh, no, you didn’t, you lying hag.  You lied about every single thing under the sun.  Comey said that when his forensic team examined Clinton’s server it found there were “several thousand work-related emails that were not in the group of 30,000” that had been returned by Clinton to the State Department.

For the record, that AP article linked to directly above is a treasure trove of Hillary lies revealed by the AP.  The sad news is that tomorrow they’ll forget they ever ran this story and never mention it again.  Unlike whatever Donald Trump did thirty years ago that they exploit again and again and again in a drum-beating continuous narrative.

And understand she is either an outright liar or she is not even up to the job of managing her damn EMAILS and is very clearly incompetent; EITHER WAY, SHE HAS NO BUSINESS BEING PRESIDENT.

Hillary Clinton looked the American people in the eye and said she didn’t send or receive any classified information.  She lied.  We all know that now.  Hillary Clinton then proceeded to alter her lie and manufacture a new story that she didn’t send or receive any information marked classified.  We all now officially know that Hillary Clinton lied again: we now have it an official part of the record that every single time Hillary Clinton said that she never sent or received any information marked classified, she was lying; she sent or received information marked classified at least 110 times.  We also know that she and her staff under her control were “extremely careless” in her handling of THE most secret information in the entire U.S. government; we know that those words “extremely careless” is the exact phrase that judges routinely use to define the phrase “gross negligence” that is the wording of the CRIMINAL CONDUCT defined by 18 USC 793-f.  We also know that Hillary Clinton lied about her “extremely careless” conduct resulting in our national secrets being stolen by hostile foreign governments.  And we know that Hillary Clinton lied when she falsely slandered and demonized Republicans when she claimed that this was just a purely political attack with no substance.

Hillary Clinton repeatedly said versions of, “I did not email any classified email.”  Well, now we know beyond a scintilla of a shadow of a doubt that she lied.  Oh, yes you DID.

Hillary Clinton repeatedly thereafter said versions of, “Nothing that I sent or receive has been marked classified.  And nothing has been demonstrated to contradict that.”  Oh, except you did.  And there was.  YOU LIAR.

And you amazingly find that FBI Director Comey said she was sending and receiving these classified emails even while she was in hostile foreign countries that had the sophistication to intercept her communications.  And as a result, the FBI is basically saying, “Assume our worst enemies have her emails.”

There is ONE reason and ONLY one reason that Hillary Clinton was not arrested for what she did: because she is a Democrat in a Democrat administration; and an incredibly CORRUPT AND DISHONEST Democratic administration at that.

But that said, given that it is now obvious that there was a whitewash brewing from the start, it is actually amazing what FBI Director Comey said: “there is evidence that [Hillary Clinton and her staff] were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.”

FBI Director Comey said: “seven e-mail chains concern matters that were classified at the Top Secret/Special Access Program level when they were sent and received. These chains involved Secretary Clinton both sending e-mails about those matters and receiving e-mails from others about the same matters. There is evidence to support a conclusion that any reasonable person in Secretary Clinton’s position, or in the position of those government employees with whom she was corresponding about these matters, should have known that an unclassified system was no place for that conversation. In addition to this highly sensitive information, we also found information that was properly classified as Secret by the U.S. Intelligence Community at the time it was discussed on e-mail (that is, excluding the later “up-classified” e-mails).”

We thus know that Hillary Clinton can NO LONGER CLAIM to be “a reasonable person.”  BECAUSE OH NO, SHE’S NOT A RESPONSIBLE PERSON.

We thus know that Hillary Clinton is an “extremely careless” woman who should not be trusted with any significant responsibility.  BECASE OH, YES SHE IS EXTREMELY CARELESS.

We know for a fact that yes it IS a “violation of a federal statute making it a felony to mishandle classified information either intentionally or in a grossly negligent way, or a second statute making it a misdemeanor to knowingly remove classified information from appropriate systems or storage facilities.”  And yes, we know that Hillary Clinton without any question mishandled classified information in a grossly negligent way, given that “extremely careless” is merely a synonym for “grossly negligent.”  We know that Hillary Clinton knowingly placed classified information – including THE highest level of classified information – on her secret personal private server and placed it on her own unauthorized storage facility.  Which is to say that she clearly and plainly violated two federal statutes.  And we know that “in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face CONSEQUENCES.”

Comey points out that Hillary Clinton almost without any question put America’s national security at risk:

With respect to potential computer intrusion by hostile actors, we did not find direct evidence that Secretary Clinton’s personal e-mail domain, in its various configurations since 2009, was successfully hacked. But, given the nature of the system and of the actors potentially involved, we assess that we would be unlikely to see such direct evidence. We do assess that hostile actors gained access to the private commercial e-mail accounts of people with whom Secretary Clinton was in regular contact from her personal account. We also assess that Secretary Clinton’s use of a personal e-mail domain was both known by a large number of people and readily apparent. She also used her personal e-mail extensively while outside the United States, including sending and receiving work-related e-mails in the territory of sophisticated adversaries. Given that combination of factors, we assess it is possible that hostile actors gained access to Secretary Clinton’s personal e-mail account.

Which is to say that hostile actors most certainly DID gain access to Hillary’s secret personal private server which no reasonable person would ever have installed in the first place and which she was extremely careless in using and maintaining.  Comey points out that while they didn’t find direct evidence of foreign government hacking, they didn’t even EXPECT to find such evidence on a homebrewn server with few safeguards that a sophisticated government could easily penetrate without leaving behind any traces of such penetration.  But that the FBI was able to tell on other, superior systems that such hacking had occurred which directly involved Hillary Clinton’s secret server and which directly compromised her secret server which was a secret only to the American people.  And that therefore the American people may very well vote to have their leader compromised and blackmailed and sell America’s interests out to Russia, China and Lord only knows who else.  Not that Hillary wasn’t already doing that on her own for money to her crooked “foundation.”

She didn’t care.  She didn’t give one flying damn.  All she cared about was her own personal convenience, and let the rest of the American people eat shit and die.  I think that would be the updated form of Marie Antionette’s “let them eat cake” remark if she said it today.  Hillary Clinton is so far removed from the rest of the country it is unreal.

This becomes highly relevant: “The Government Has Prosecuted Nearly Every Violator of Secrecy Rules Before Hillary Clinton.”

Ultimately, there is a different standard when Democrats run things.  There’s what applies to other people and there’s what applies to them.  And these two standards shall never, ever meet.

Comey states that “there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information.”  And then basically says that Obama doesn’t care and his boss Lynch doesn’t care and so what can he really do but go along lest he too be covered with gallons of white paint???

FBI Director Comey had Hillary Clinton dead to rights.  He laid out a crystal clear case that Hillary Clinton committed the “gross negligence” that was all that was necessary for him to prove according to the statute.  The he proceeded to claim that no reasonable prosecutor would prosecute this case when HUNDREDS of prosecutors have surfaced to say, “I sure as hell would prosecute her for what she did.”  Which is to say that what Comey meant to say was, “that no LIBERAL prosecutor would bring such a case” rather than “no reasonable prosecutor.”

Comey also misrepresented the facts when he said “we cannot find a case that would support bringing criminal charges on these facts” when OH YES HE COULD HAVE.  There ARE people who have been prosecuted for FAR LESS than what Hillary did.  And the ONLY difference was that they at least had the honesty to acknowledge that understood what they were doing whereas Hillary the lawyer surrounded by battalions of lawyers never admitted even that tiny shred of truth.

Hillary behind closed doors to the FBI basically said, “I’m incompetent.  I didn’t know what I was doing.  How could I?  I’m just a stupid woman.  And I’m neither qualified or fit to make any kind of complicated decision.”

That again is the sort of massive double standard that Hillary flies under.  Because any man would have faced the guillotine if he’d done what Hillary had done.  Just ask David Petraeus who had the head of a magnificent career axed for a FRACTION of what Hillary got caught red-handed doing.

How can you look at me with a straight face and tell me that Hillary is competent if she truly didn’t know that all of these thousands of emails were classified???  When it was THE most basic part of her job to know that???

We’ve got to fight for the truth.  We’ve got to fight WITH the truth.

We need to tie Hillary Clinton’s lies together.  The way she stood over the coffins of the four dead Americans who came home in those coffins because of Hillary Clinton’s incompetence and indifference.  And she outright lied right in the faces of the family members and blamed a Youtube video for the “spontaneous uprising” that she knew was a lie even as she was blathering that lie because she was at the same time telling her daughter and telling the Egyptian Foreign Minister that “We know the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film. It was a planned attack – not a protest.”  Let the American people finally understand that this woman has been the worst liar imaginable over the course of her entire life.

I submit that Hillary Clinton is either utterly a criminal, or so utterly incompetent that she not only shouldn’t be president but shouldn’t ever even be allowed to set foot inside the White House lest the fungus that rotted her brain be transmitted to someone who could conceivably touch a president.  Or both.  And I submit that she is both.

But at this point it couldn’t be more obvious that Hillary Clinton is unfit to serve as president of the United States of America unless you want this nation to perish.

You know what I want?  I want Director Comey to come before the House and answer one question: did Hillary Clinton tell your FBI the same stories she told the American people or did she tell your FBI the truth?  Because if she told the same stories to the FBI that she told the American people, she LIED and she should be prosecuted for lying to the FBI.  And if she told the FBI the truth when she lied to the American people, the House should then demand the transcript or better yet the video so the American people can see her telling the FBI the truth that was so totally different from the lies she has been telling us for over a year now.  And every single American ought to go into this election knowing that the Democratic Party candidate for president is a pathological liar who will look them in the eye and tell them an avalanche of pure lies every single time she opens her mouth.  That’s what I want.  And if you don’t want that too, Democrat, it’s only because you know full damn well what a pathological dishonest liar your candidate is and you don’t care because your just that vile and there is nothing true in you at all.

Anyone who votes for Hillary should be required to sign a form categorically saying that he or she is utterly without any honesty, any decency, any integrity, any virtue or any decency whatsoever.

 

Pelosi And Democrats Block BP Oil Spill Investigation

Democrats really want to get to the bottom of the BP oil spill and all the failures of leadership and action thereafter.

From before the disaster – when Barack Obama received more money from BP than any politician over the past twenty years – to after the disaster, Democrats ought to be ashamed of themselves.

Pelosi Blocks Oil Spill Investigation

The latest version of the CLEAR Act is slated for a floor vote in the House this week as Democrats look for ways to use the Gulf oil spill as a means to pass elements of their unpopular energy agenda.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) stripped out authorization for an independent investigation into the Gulf disaster.

The Natural Resources Committee unanimously passed the amendment in committee markup July 14 offered by Rep. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) that would establish a bipartisan, independent, National Commission on Outer Continental Shelf Oil Spill Prevention.

Unlike the commission set up by President Obama — packed only with environmental activists and no petroleum engineers — the commission unanimously approved by the Natural Resources committee would be comprised of technical experts to study the actual events leading up to the Deepwater Horizon disaster.

Not a single member of the committee voiced opposition at the bill’s markup.  The Senate has also approved an independent commission.

“To investigate what went wrong and keep it from happening again, the commission must include members who have expertise in petroleum engineering.  The President’s Commission has none,” Cassidy, the amendment’s author, told HUMAN EVENTS after the announcement.  “It defies common sense that this amendment passed unanimously in committee, only to be deleted in the Speaker’s office.”

Rep. Doc Hastings (R-Wash.), top Republican on the Natural Resources Committee said the Obama’s administration’s commission was set up to protect the President.

“By deleting the bipartisan, independent oil spill commission that’s received bipartisan support in both House and Senate committees, Democrats have shown they are more interested in protecting the President than getting independent answers to what caused this tragic Gulf spill.  Some of the biggest failures that contributed to the Gulf disaster are the direct responsibility of the federal government and by deleting this bipartisan, independent commission, Democrats ensure that only the President’s hand-picked commission will be digging into any failures of his own Interior Department appointees.  There is widespread agreement that no member of the President’s commission possesses technical expertise in oil drilling, and several are on the record in opposition to offshore drilling and support a moratorium that will cost thousands of jobs,” Hastings said.

The bill also sets up myriad regulations and new standards and laws for drilling that have nothing to do with offshore drilling.

“Even more outrageous is this bill’s attempt to use the oil spill tragedy as leverage to enact totally unrelated policies and increase federal spending on unrelated programs by billions of dollars. What does a solar panel in Nevada, a wind turbine in Montana, uranium for nuclear power, or a ban on fish farming have to do with the Gulf spill? Nothing — but the spill is a good excuse to try and pass otherwise stalled or unpopular new laws,” Hastings said.

Another member of the committee, Rep. John Fleming (R-La.), pointed out the hand-picked Obama commission is just getting underway with no findings or recommendations made.

“This ‘fix it’ bill is being rammed through without an accurate and full understanding of what actually went wrong. The Presidential Commission is just barely beginning its work, no investigations are yet concluded, and the failed [blowout preventer] still on the ocean floor, yet we are voting on a bill without knowing what went wrong,” Fleming said.

“Furthermore, at a time when Washington should be focused on creating jobs, this bill will do just the opposite by hampering future energy development and stifling job creation along the Gulf Coast,” Fleming added.  “This knee-jerk legislation — coupled with the Administration’s damaging Moratorium on offshore drilling — will worsen, not help, the situation.”

Yet the House is poised to vote this week on the CLEAR Act, likely Friday.

“This bill has less to do with preventing another spill than it does preventing domestic energy production,” Cassidy said.

UPDATE: House Republicans released bullets on the CLEAR Act this morning breaking down some of the measures included in the bill, including:

–     Imposes job-killing changes and higher taxes for onshore natural gas and oil production. It fundamentally changes leasing onshore by the Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management, which affects not just leasing for natural gas and oil, but also for renewable energy including wind and solar. Forest Service and BLM leasing are shoved into the three new agencies that are replacing the former Minerals Management Service (MMS).

–     Creates over $30 billion in new mandatory spending for two programs that have nothing to do with the oil spill (the Land and Water Conservation Fund and the Historic Preservation Fund). In the version of the bill headed to the House floor, Democrats added brand new language that expressly allows this $30 billion to be earmarked by the Appropriations Committee.

–     Raises taxes by over $22 billion in ten years – with the taxes eventually climbing to nearly $3 billion per year. This is a direct tax on natural gas and oil that will raise energy prices for American families and businesses, hurt domestic jobs, and increase our dependence on foreign oil. This tax only applies to U.S. oil and gas production on federal leases – giving an advantage to foreign oil and hurting American energy jobs.

–     Requires the federal takeover of state authority to permit in state waters, which reverses sixty years of precedent. The mismanagement, corruption and oversight failures of the federal government are being used as justification to expand federal control by seizing management from the states.

–     Allows 10% of all offshore revenues – an amount possibly as high as $500 million per year – to be spent on a new fund controlled by the Interior Secretary to issue ocean research grants (ORCA fund). There is no requirement that the fund is used for the Gulf region or anything related to oil spills or offshore drilling. These funds can be earmarked.

If this wasn’t yet another way that Democrats are scheming to implode this country, it would be hilarious.  This bill is akin to my shooting you, and then using the shooting incident to pitch my gun-ban agenda.

You DO have to applaud the Democrats for their creative use of oxymorons.  I mean, to take a bill that deliberately prevents any kind of transparent independent investigation, and call it the “CLEAR Act,” is really something else.

Don’t forget to bid on my bridge.  You might be able to win it cheap!

And you can trust me not to rip you off, of course.  Because I’m at least as honest as Nancy Pelosi.

Oops.  My bad.  Nancy Pelosi famously promised to “drain the swamp,” but then she helped fill it instead.  So I’d have to be a total slimeball indeed not to be as honest as Nancy Pelosi.

Obama’s Katrina: Gasoline FAR More Expensive Under Obama – And Price About To Skyrocket

I remember the Democrats demagoguing President Bush when the price of gas when up, because that’s pretty much all that Democrats know how to do.

Well, let’s see: the price of gas was $1.84 cents for regular and $2.27 for diesel the week after Bush left office.

And what is it now?

OH MY GAWD!!! It is now $2.85 for regular, and $3.08 for diesel as of April 26th.

Let’s see.  Math, math, carry the 1…  OH MY GAWD!!! That’s a 55% increase in the price of gasoline from George W. Bush.

Where’s Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid to demonize the president over the price of gas???  Where are the congressional investigations???

Oh, that’s right.  Democrats are great at demagoguing, as long as they’re blaming everybody else.  Not so good at taking any kind of responsibility for themselves and what happens under their sordid misrule.

Boy, does hope and change crap ever suck when you stop and think about the actual world.

And expect it to go up.  And maybe up and up and up.

“Solidly above $3 a gallon” anyway (quote also cited here).  Maybe as much as $5 a gallon, if this drags on as long as some experts are now saying.

Now, let’s say a little more about Barack Obama’s “Hurricane Katrina.”

George Bush was demonized from one side to the other, and then up and down as well.  Why?  Because, according to the Democrat demagoguery, George Bush waited two whole days before he brought all the resources of the federal government to bear on Katrina.

Here’s a typical liberal salvo from Bill Maher:

“Finally today convoys of troops and aid started to arrive along the Gulf Coast. Five days after the hurricane hit. Kind of makes you miss the innocent days when Bush only sat on his ass for seven minutes. It only took him four days to make a plan, but finally today he said he had a plan. Unfortunately it’s a faith-based plan that involves getting two of every animal onto a big boat.”

Well, this BP drilling site went “boom” nine days ago.  And Barack Obama dithered for an entire week before doing a damn thing.  And now we’re facing an ecological disaster.  And the weather – which was quite nice while Obama was doing nothing – is now a huge hindrance to clean-up efforts.

Which is to say, not only is this all Obama’s fault, but further, that Barack Obama is actually at least three-and-a-half times more to blame for his dithering than Bush was to blame for his.

And, now, as a result of all that Obama dithering, we’ve got a massive crisis that is going to cost Americans billions more at the pump.

Do unto Obama as liberals did unto Bush.  Blame Obama.  Treat him the way he treated Bush.  Judge him by his own standard, and find him sorely lacking in competence or compassion.  It’s his fault that gas has gone up 55% – so far.  It’s his fault that we have a massive crisis.  And it’s his fault that gas prices are going to skyrocket even more than they already have under his misrule.

Remember all the blame directed at George Bush when gas prices rose?  Remember how the Democrats literally began federal investigations over the price increases in what amounted to a political hit job?

Well, gasoline prices have quietly increased 55%, a dollar a gallon, under Obama’s watch, and suddenly the same Democrats who swore that high crimes and misdemeanors had been committed under Bush are now completely silent.

Gas prices have risen $1 since just after President Obama took office in January 2009 and are now closing in on the $3 mark, prompting an evaluation of the administration’s energy record and calls for the White House to open more U.S. land for oil exploration.

The average price per gallon across the U.S. hit $2.81 this week, according to the Energy Information Administration. That was up from $1.81 the week of Jan. 26, 2009, just after the inauguration, and marks the highest price since Oct. 20, 2008.

John B. Townsend II, a spokesman for AAA Mid-Atlantic, said price increases are a result of the cost of crude oil, thanks to a decision by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries not to raise production even as economic growth in countries such as Russia and China spurs more demand.

“From all indications, we’re going to see $3 gas again this summer,” he said.

The Obama administration also blames the market for the high prices and argues that its record for expanding energy development has been solid over the past year.

“The prices are set by the world market,” said Kendra Barkoff, a spokeswoman for the Interior Department, which manages federal lands that would be leased for oil exploration.

Gas prices have been on a roller-coaster ride over the past decade, dropping to near $1 after President George W. Bush’s first year in office, crossing the $2 mark in 2005 and reaching $4 in June 2008 before Congress and Mr. Bush took action, lifting presidential and congressionally imposed moratoriums on expanding offshore drilling on the Outer Continental Shelf.

Mr. Bush lifted the presidential moratorium in July that year. The congressional moratorium expired Sept. 30, and prices fell precipitously, dropping more than $1 in October.

“The reason that it dropped is because the U.S. sent a signal to the markets, by dropping the moratoria, that we’re going to drill on our lands. Obviously, we never followed up, and thus you see the crisis gradually rising,” said Rep. Doc Hastings of Washington, the ranking Republican on the Natural Resources Committee.

He said the solution is the same for both the short-term and long-term prices: Assure the markets that the U.S. will pursue domestic exploration.

You can see the impact that America drilling for its own oil has on prices – and how despicable the mainstream media can be in covering up the truth – in the following CBS piece entitled “The Immediate Benefit Of Offshore Drilling” from July 17, 2008:

After trading at a record high of $147 a barrel Friday, the price of oil saw its largest one-day drop since the 2003 beginning of the Iraq war on Tuesday, falling $6.44 a barrel. Wednesday, it fell another $3.71, to $135.03, and at one point was trading as low as $132.

So what happened? As is usually the case with markets, a variety of factors caused this dramatic drop. According to the Associated Press, the Energy Information Administration announced that U.S. crude-oil supplies rose by 3 million barrels; beleaguered banks have been selling off valuable energy contracts to pay for other debts; and there’s even some speculation that computer programs used by Wall Street may create a “cascading effect” once prices start to drop.

But bizarrely, the AP didn’t mention that on Monday – again, the day of the single biggest one-day drop in oil prices in five years – President Bush removed the executive order imposing a moratorium on offshore drilling in the United States.

To think that this dramatic and unexpected move by the Bush administration didn’t have a significant effect on oil prices is folly. Even Democrats admit that relatively small margins in oil production could have a huge impact on prices.

The price per barrel of crude oil – which was at an all-time high the day Bush signed the moratorium that ended the ban on offshore drilling after going up and up and up to that point – continued to drop and drop.  By September, it was below $109 a barrel.  By October it had dropped even more.  And it kept dropping.

But now in the age of Obama, it’s going up and up and up again.  We have had a 55% increase in the price of our gasoline during a terrible recession.  Obama’s energy policies have hurt this nation badly at an incredibly vulnerable period, without so much as a peep from most of the media.

Barack Obama threatened to bankrupt the coal industry – which produces 49% of our nation’s electricity – and said that:

“Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.”

He told just enough lies and half-truths to get coal-state Democrats such as  West Virginia Senator Jay Rockefeller to get them to believe he wouldn’t destroy their economies.  But now that he’s elected he’s free to break those promises and pursue ruinous policies.  Rockefeller is now saying of Obama that:

“he’s beginning to not be believable to me.”

But it’s like, “Sorry Sucker.”  When you vote like a fool, you receive a fool’s fate.

Anyway, maybe you thought, “Well, I’m not in a coal producing state,” or “I’m not in a coal-fired electric grid,” so you thought Obama’s shockingly bad energy policies didn’t matter.

But you’re still going to have to put gas in your car, and Obama’s going to see to it that it costs you a pretty penny to do it.

In fact, gas will have to rise to the European level prices of at least $7/gallon in order for Obama’s policies to impact CO2 levels as per his energy policy.  So you can bet that fuel prices will continue to rise, and rise, and rise.

We’ve had a clear call from the American people to drill for our own oil before.  The Democrats who stopped us from drilling in the first place went utterly nutjob ballistic –

With fewer than 20 legislative days before the new fiscal year begins Oct. 1, the entire appropriations process has largely ground to a halt because of the ham-handed fighting that followed Republican attempts to lift the moratorium on offshore oil and gas exploration. And after promising fairness and open debate, Pelosi has resorted to hard-nosed parliamentary devices that effectively bar any chance for Republicans to offer policy alternatives.

“I’m trying to save the planet; I’m trying to save the planet,” she says impatiently when questioned. “I will not have this debate trivialized by their excuse for their failed policy.”

– in their campaign to prevent domestic energy production – until an overwhelming majority in American opinion made them change their tune.  And then they pledged that they would allow the offshore drilling ban to expire.

Only they didn’t, because Democrats are liars without shame.  Obama signed a brand new moratorium banning domestic drilling.  There will be no domestic energy production under his watch – unless you count the pathetic little toys he says he’ll build that won’t even put so much as a scratch our energy requirements.

Oh, Obama was perfectly willing to lie to us about domestic oil the same way he lied to Jay Rockefeller about domestic coal.  Lies come incredibly easy for Obama – especially since the lamestream propaganda won’t expose him – which leaves him free to tell a whopping load of them.

We have TRILLIONS of barrels of recoverable oil.

Democrats keep saying that there’s no point drilling for our own oil because it would take ten years for the oil to get into system and bring prices down.  First of all that isn’t true; energy companies say they could be up and running in only 3-4 years.  But even if we assume their ten-year figure, they’ve been saying it for decades – and if we’d drilled ten years’ ago, we’d have that oil in our system NOW, wouldn’t we?

Obama’s policy is based upon undermining oil, coal, and natural gas in order to foster the development of solar, wind, and other energy methods that the moonbeam crowd favor.

Here’s the problem: we can’t even BEGIN to address our energy needs with these “environmental” sources.  You get so much more energy at so much lower of a cost from oil, coal, and natural gas versus solar or wind that it isn’t even funny.

We need to harness our domestic energy.  We need oil, coal, and natural gas.

We’re not going to get them under Obama, or under any form of Democrat rule.

You can count on seeing a shocking trend of higher and higher gasoline prices, to go with a “necessary skyrocketing” of our energy prices, under Barack Obama.

At least until we vote Democrats out of office.

Democrats Turned 1991 George H.W. Bush Speech To Schoolchildren Into Spanish Inquisition

I got attacked by the Village Voice today for expressing my rather nasty response to the ObamaDay speech to schoolchildren and the accompanying ideological White House-dictated Department of Education lesson plans for kids (e.g., “Write letters to themselves about what they can do to help the president. These would be collected and redistributed at an appropriate later date by the teacher to make students accountable to their goals“).

I don’t particularly mind being attacked by the Village Voice.  I mean, at least they spelled my name right, as they say.

If anything, what bothers me is the smarmy, “They’re unhinged and we’re not”) tone of the article.

When Democrats act as if they aren’t the ones who are unhinged, just recognize that Democrats have a terrible addiction to “being unhinged,” and that a big part of any addiction is denial.

First, yes, Reagan and Bush 1 gave speeches to students.  But unless you can show that their speeches were accompanied by having children engage in scripted White House campaigns to create posters and write themselves letters asking,“What can I do to help the president?” it is anything but the same thing.  Rather, Presidents Reagan and Bush managed to give speeches to kids about school without lowering themselves into self-serving propaganda, as the Obama administration clearly tried to do.

[Update: it has since been brought to my attention that Reagan’s and Bush’s speeches did in fact contain certain political statements.  Barack Obama’s own speech has a fair amount of political ideology expressed in the form of rather transparent innuendo.]

Discussion questions that the White House provided to the Department of Education to pass on to public teachers included the following: “What is President Obama asking me to do?”, “What is President Obama challenging me to do today?” “What did President Obama attempt to inspire me to do?”, “What are the three most important words in today’s speech?”  How does that NOT sound like propaganda?

Second, I would point out that my article – “unhinged” as it might be – nonetheless documented repeated instances of liberals using children for political purposes including this shocking video that simply don’t have any parallels with Reagan or Bush unless you can document otherwise.

Third, I document a teacher in a public school browbeating a child to support Barack Obama and renounce his support for John McCain.  Please watch it before you ridicule the prospect over worrying about the Obama-dictated Dept of Education agenda.

I made the point in my article, “If Obama just wanted to do a brief public service announcement and call upon kids to stay in school and study harder, nobody would have a problem with it.”   And that’s exactly correct.   The problem is that a LOT more was clearly going on.   Even the Obama White House was forced to admit that there was something wrong with the appearance of the proposal they crafted for the Dept of Education to provide to teachers.

When I can document government teachers trying to brainwash public school children, I think I have a right to wonder about what teachers who will be all alone with children will do in the hour following the Obama speech.

As I say in my article, “The Obama speech to the children will very likely sound innocent and innocuous. But in the liberal public schools – which are and have been laboratories for leftist activism, it won’t be innocent or innocuous at all. Unionized Government Teachers will be free to spin their own agendas onto Obama’s speech.”

Now, having brought out those little factoids, it turns out that there is more to say: namely, when George H.W. Bush gave his speech in 1991, Democrats turned their ideological reaction to it into the Spanish Inquisition, Part Deux.

The controversy over President Obama’s speech to the nation’s schoolchildren will likely be over shortly after Obama speaks today at Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia. But when President George H.W. Bush delivered a similar speech on October 1, 1991, from Alice Deal Junior High School in Washington DC, the controversy was just beginning.  Democrats, then the majority party in Congress, not only denounced Bush’s speech — they also ordered the General Accounting Office to investigate its production and later summoned top Bush administration officials to Capitol Hill for an extensive hearing on the issue.

Unlike the Obama speech, in 1991 most of the controversy came after, not before, the president’s school appearance.  The day after Bush spoke, the Washington Post published a front-page story suggesting the speech was carefully staged for the president’s political benefit.  “The White House turned a Northwest Washington junior high classroom into a television studio and its students into props,” the Post reported.

With the Post article in hand, Democrats pounced. “The Department of Education should not be producing paid political advertising for the president, it should be helping us to produce smarter students,” said Richard Gephardt, then the House Majority Leader. “And the president should be doing more about education than saying, ‘Lights, camera, action.'”

Democrats did not stop with words. Rep. William Ford, then chairman of the House Education and Labor Committee, ordered the General Accounting Office to investigate the cost and legality of Bush’s appearance. On October 17, 1991, Ford summoned then-Education Secretary Lamar Alexander and other top Bush administration officials to testify at a hearing devoted to the speech. “The hearing this morning is to really examine the expenditure of $26,750 of the Department of Education funds to produce and televise an appearance by President Bush at Alice Deal Junior High School in Washington, DC,” Ford began. “As the chairman of the committee charged with the authorization and implementation of education programs, I am very much interested in the justification, rationale for giving the White House scarce education funds to produce a media event.”

Unfortunately for Ford, the General Accounting Office concluded that the Bush administration had not acted improperly. “The speech itself and the use of the department’s funds to support it, including the cost of the production contract, appear to be legal,” the GAO wrote in a letter to Chairman Ford. “The speech also does not appear to have violated the restrictions on the use of appropriations for publicity and propaganda.”

That didn’t stop Democratic allies from taking their own shots at Bush. The National Education Association denounced the speech, saying it “cannot endorse a president who spends $26,000 of taxpayers’ money on a staged media event at Alice Deal Junior High School in Washington, D.C. — while cutting school lunch funds for our neediest youngsters.”

Lost in all the denouncing and investigating was the fact that Bush’s speech itself, like Obama’s today, was entirely unremarkable. “Block out the kids who think it’s not cool to be smart,” the president told students. “If someone goofs off today, are they cool? Are they still cool years from now, when they’re stuck in a dead end job. Don’t let peer pressure stand between you and your dreams.

So thanks for reminding us of when George Herbert Walker gave a speech to schoolchildren, Democrats.  It’s a reminder of what loathsome hypocrites you truly are.

Bush 1 gave an innocuous speech to schoolchildren that was utterly bereft of the Obama-style propaganda utilizing the Department of Education to coerce teachers into brainwashing the little darlings under their charge immediately after the speech.  Yet the Democrats came completely unglued anyway.

And yet, how the liberals roll their eyes when Republicans offer up what amounts to a FAR tamer response.

Gephardt’s replacement for Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, is hardly out there demanding an answer to the question, “Who’s Paying For Obama’s Education Speech?”  And given that Obama’s speech is far more grandiose, and going out to far more schools than Bush’s ever did, you can bet that TAXPAYERS will be forking out a whole lot more than Bush’s $26,000.  Not that these Democrats will care.

So when you reflect on how the mainstream media reported on how unhinged conservatives are over a “similar” event to what George Bush 1 did, just realize that – like the propagandists they are – they aren’t giving you any of the context that lets you know the truth.

Not only did Democrats react to the Republican President’s speech, but they reacted far more savagely.

It helps to know the truth.

It also helps to know that you will rarely ever get the truth from the mainstream media.
