Public School Teacher Says American Flag ‘Offensive’; Praises Picture Of Dear Leader Obama

May 13, 2010

God damn America is thriving under Dear Leader Part Deuce.  If by “thriving” you mean “sucking poop through a straw.”

A good article on the story is here.

Can you imagine?  We now live in people’s republic in which a drawing of an American flag is reviled as “offensive,” but a drawing of Dear Leader Obama is praised.  In a public school.

Not a public school in North Korea, mind you.  But right here in the good old God damn the USA.

Of course, we should have know that Barack Obama’s fundamental transformation of America would lead to “God damn America.”  And so, yeah, we should have known that our government schools would send high school kids home for wearing their “offensive” and “inflammatory” American flag T-shirts while smiling benignly as hundreds of Hispanic kids wore their Mexican flag T-shirts all around them.

God damn America recognizes that America is a selfish, greedy place that should hang its collective head in shame as Dear Leader Obama travels the globe apologizing for how despicable we have been until the moment he took the oath of office.  Michelle Obama had never been proud of America until Obama was on his way to becoming president.  Why should she have been?  We clearly made Nazi Germany look like Disneyland until the glorious, beatific Dear Leader fundamentally transformed it into the Blessed Utopia it now is today.

You can’t blame this art teacher for despising the flag and the Republic for which it stands.  She’s taking her cues from her president, after all.

We’ve seen the casual contempt Obama has shown for the flag of the United States of America.

In the article above I recount the story of William H. Carney, a hero who received the Congressional Medal of Honor for valor for his inspirational service with the 54th Massachusetts Regiment during the legendary assault on Fort Wagner.

He was struck with one shot, but not being felled he continued, and then was struck with a second shot. On his struggle to cross the beach to the rear he met a member of the 100th New York Regiment who started to assist him, when Carney was struck with another shot in the head. The other soldier asked Carney to let him carrier the colors so he could more easily walk, but Carney refused, saying that no one other than a member of the 54th Massachusetts should carry the colors.

Finally, after an unlikely arrival alive at the rear guard hospital area, he saw his wounded and dying comrades who saw him carrying their colors and cheered him. He was able to tell them “Boys, the old flag never touched the ground.”

Of course, that was in the America of Lincoln.  In the God damn America of Obama, a thirteen-year-old girl is vilified for drawing a picture of her beloved American flag in a public school art class.

Illegal Immigrants: Amazingly, Conservatives Don’t Want These People In America

November 19, 2009

A story that is becoming increasingly passe just over our southern border:

Women, Children Raped In County’s ‘Most Dangerous Area‘”

SAN DIEGO — Authorities said a desolate corner of San Diego County may be its most violent area. It is so dangerous 10News crews had to put on bulletproof vests before entering the area near Boulevard.

“The violence in this area is so bad that a 12-year-old was raped to death,” said Estela De Los Rios of the Center for Social Advocacy.

In the area, authorities said there are pieces of evidence left behind that serve as a grim reminder of the violence happening near the U.S.-Mexico border.

“They’re ruthless; they’ll come over here, they’ll pick one out that they want, they drag her off onto the rocks, they’ll rape her and they just leave them here,” said Carl Braun, founder of the Border Patrol Auxiliary, a group that assists U.S. Border Patrol agents.

The rapes are committed by the people the victims trust, authorities said. The women and their families give their life savings to human smugglers, only to be hurt by them.

“What they’ll do is they’ll get them in sight of the border or right across the border and then they’ll demand a form of payment that wasn’t agreed to on the front end. They will take them off and then rape them,” said Braun.

After raping the women, authorities said the smugglers hang their underwear on the trees as trophies to mark their brutal conquests.

Braun said he has witnessed a woman being raped but could not help because it happened on the south side of the border.

“In the morning, we found her undergarments hanging from that stick that’s sticking up by the fence there,” said Braun.

Braun said the violence has now crossed the border into San Diego County.

Here are my thoughts about this: build a wall.  Build it tall and strong.  And patrol our side of it.  Keep these people the hell out of our country.

And in so doing prevent helpless women and children from trusting these human-suit-wearing-cockroaches to illegally bring them here in the first place.

La Raza-types would argue that my opposing illegal immigration qualifies me as a racist, to which I shout, “What a racist thing of you to say!”  They don’t bother to make a distinction between legal and illegal immigration.  If I oppose illegal immigration I’m a racist.  But they’re the racists.  And why should anyone care what they say?

La Raza may not give a damn about these Mexican women and young girls being raped  by Coyotes within sight of the U.S. border, but I sure do.

Conservatives are all in favor of immigration – from ALL over the world, and not just from Mexico or Latin America – as long as it is a) legal and b) benefits the United States.  Now, very little of either occurs.

Allow me to elaborate on how we severed the improvement of the United States from our immigration policy to show how we got to this point.

This country used to have the best interest of the nation and its own people as a core value.  But in 1965, championed by Democrat President Lyndon Johnson and Senator Ted Kennedy, that changed with the passage of the Hart-Celler Act.  Democrats assured the country that our borders would never be flooded with waves of immigrants.

The Hart-Celler Act repealed our previous immigration laws – which Democrats attacked as favoring Europeans and immigrants with job skills – and replaced our previous sane policy with one of chain immigration.  Instead of bringing in people with the job skills this country needed, the agenda became bringing in relatives of immigrants [Source: Mark Levin, Liberty And Tyranny, pp 150-151, and his citation from the Center for Immigration Studies, Sept. 1995].

We have continued to see wave after wave of unskilled immigrants flow into our country, along with their unskilled relatives, ever since.  We have attracted them with all the welfare benefits that a Great Society could provide.  And we have encouraged illegal immigration by these means, and by refusing to deal with the crisis our own elected representatives have foisted upon us.

Republican Representative William Miller understood the ramifications quite well.  He said, “We estimate that if the President gets his way, and the current immigration laws are repealed, the number of immigrants next year will increase threefold and in subsequent years will increase even more.”

He was right.  The Democrats were terribly wrong – other than the fact that they have – at the expense of the nation and the American people – successfully created a new pro-Democrat special interest/constituency group.

We need to end the process by which unskilled Latin American immigrants flood into this country either illegally or legally, and return to the system – based on fair international quotas and job skills – in which the most qualified people from all over the world come here to start new lives as Americans.  We need to encourage immigrants who will leave their cultures behind and embrace American values, rather than our current system which encourages our immigrants to march against the clear national interests of the American people on a communist holiday (May Day) carrying a Mexican flag rather than the American flag – or even worse:

For what it’s worth, I’m not opposed to qualified, skilled immigrants legally coming here from Mexico or the Latin American hemisphere.  Quite the contrary.  I would gladly welcome such new Americans to this country.  But you can count on me being much less gracious and welcoming to people who come and demand welfare benefits while flying a foreign flag.

Who’s the Real American in This Picture?

May 26, 2009

We’ve got a little movie for you today.  There’s a hero and a villain.  And your job is to decide which is which, boys and girls.

[Youtube link]

So here’s the plot.  A business in Reno is flying a Mexican flag above the American flag which, among other things, is a violation of the law in the United States.  As the local media begins to report on the story from the scene, a large bearded man (that would be Jim Brossard) walks up to the flag pole, pulls down both flags, and cuts the American flag off the pole (with what he wants to make sure everyone knows is an American Army knife).

Brossard says – and I’d very much like to quote him:

“That is what happened.  Right there.  I’m Jim Brossard.  And I took this flag down in honor of my country.  With a knife from the United States Army.  I’m a veteran.  I’m not going to see this done to my country.  If they’re going to fight us, then they need to be men.  And they need to come and fight us.  But I want someone to FIGHT me for this flag.  They’re not going to get it back.”

And with that Jim Brossard, turns and walks away from the camera – and right past the Mexican (let’s just agree to assume that he’s a Mexican due to the whole, ‘I think I’ll fly the Mexican flag above the American flag today’ thing) business owner and his amigo.

The reporter approaches the business owner – who is still watching Jim Brossard walking away with his flag – and asks, “So what do you think of that?”  The Mexican business owner walks over to the flag pole and retrieves his Mexican flag – which big bearded guy had tossed on the ground – and picks it up as the reporter asks, “No comment?  What do you think of that?  What are you trying to accomplish, at least?  Anything?”

And the Mexican business owner wordlessly goes into his place of business with his remaining flag and shuts the door, which features a sign bearing the words, “No persons under 21 allowed.”

I’ve reported.  You decide.  Who’s the Real American?  Big bearded guy or Mexican business owner, with his interesting choice in flag-order?

Who is the hero and who is the villain?

I didn’t have to ponder this one for very long: Jim Brossard, big bearded guy, I salute you!

I would offer to buy you a drink, Mr. Brossard, but I see you’ve already got that big can of whoop-ass in your hand.

MARKETING TIP: SOMEBODY FROM HARLEY-DAVIDSON SERIOUSLY NEEDS TO GIVE THIS MAN A ROAD KING AND SIGN HIM AS THEIR CORPORATE SPOKESMAN.

Jim-Brossard2

Now, all of this said, this story is also part of a larger debate: which group of politically-active people is one the side of big bearded guy, and which group of politically-active people is on the side of Mexican business owner?

Let me just take a wild guess and suggest that he AINT on Nancy Pelosi’s side of the argument.

You can almost hear the cries of metropolitan liberals:

“That great big mean bully!  He’s got a knife.  He’s got a knife! HE’S GOT A KNIFE!!! Somebody call the police and have that terrible man arrested!

That awful man is a racist, and he’s bitter, and he hates immigrants just like President Obama said!  He’s probably got guns, too!  What’s that?  He’s a veteran?  See?  HE’S ONE OF THOSE RIGHTWING EXTREMISTS just like the DHS said!

He’s why we need sanctuary cities!  To protect poor immigrants from hateful men like THAT!”

Conservatives are routinely told that they’re losing Hispanics.  But if Hispanics are going to support one of their own proudly flying his Mexican flag over the American flag on American soil over Jim Brossard’s righteous outrage, I frankly don’t give a damn.

I’ll take Jim’s side any day.

I sure get the sense he’d take mine.
