The Inconvenient Truth About The Lilly White Occupy Wall Street Movement And The Media Propaganda That Ignores Truth Altogether

January 30, 2012

The media fell all over itself demonizing the Tea Party as “white.”  Never mind that the liberal media talking heads that were doing most of the demonizing were themselves all white.

And the liberal protest is every bit as white as the Tea Party ever was:

The color of protest
Friday, January 27, 2012 3:07 AM EST

Progressive Media Project writer Randy Jurado Ertil seems nonplussed the far-left Occupy Wall Street movement is mainly white. “If the Occupy movement is to succeed this year, it needs to become more diverse,” he says in a Jan. 13 op-ed.

It seems like it was just yesterday that people of the left were saying the same thing about the tea-party movement. What gives?

Could it be that minorities feel disenfranchised by both sides — the left and the right — though for radically different reasons? As black conservative columnist and economics professor Walter Williams would say, let’s look at it.

The scarcity of black and brown faces in tea-party crowds has been chronicled gleefully by the liberal news media and activists, who have strived mightily to characterize the tea party as a racist enterprise. Is it any wonder more minorities don’t try to shoulder their way into the mix? If they believe even a fraction of what they read, hear and see on television, they’ll believe people of their race are unwelcome in tea-party gatherings — especially if they’re not told tea-party icons include black leaders such as Rep. Allen West, R-Fla., and Rep. Tim Scott, R-S.C.

“The Occupy movement needs to recruit minorities not only to reflect accurately the ethnic diversity that does exist in the United States but also to respond to the fact that economic injustice falls most heavily on the backs of minorities,” Mr. Ertil writes.

And whose fault is that? Ask black intellectual Thomas Sowell; he’ll tell you:

“Over the years, some of the most devastating policies, in terms of their actual effects on black people, have come from liberal Democrats … None cost blacks more jobs than minimum-wage laws, (which) have a track record of increasing unemployment, especially among the young, the less skilled and minorities. … Urban renewal was another big Democratic liberal idea. It destroyed mostly low-income minority neighborhoods and replaced them with upscale housing the former residents could not afford. … Even when liberal Democrats try specifically to help blacks, the results often backfire. …”

Arguably, the worst policy of all was the vast expansion of the family-destroying welfare state beginning in the 1960s. Mr. Ertil mentions the large disparity in wealth between white and black households, but neglects to add that this disparity shrinks dramatically among households led by married couples.

There’s probably no way to find out precisely why minorities are scarce in Occupy encampments, but here’s a theory: middle-class African-Americans and Hispanics recognize the movement has nothing to offer them; and the rest are starting to catch on that the left has been lying to them and holding them down ever since the days when the Democrats’ primary Republican target was Abraham Lincoln.

We have a rather inconvenient truth about the liberal Occupy movement as noted by the Washington Times:

The Occupy Wall Street movement wants the world to see it as an inclusive, multicultural grassroots uprising representing the full spectrum of America’s rich ethnic tapestry. But the group’s internal documents reveal what any casual observer knows; the movement is almost entirely dominated by a bunch of disaffected white kids.

White people.  A sea of vile white people:

That’s right, I said vile white people:

You might similarly remember how the media climbed all over themselves to apply the label “violent” to the Tea Party.  It didn’t matter that in thousands of events across the country nobody got arrested and the parks they protested in were invariably left cleaner than they’d been before the Tea Partiers got there.  Versus this sort of behavior from Occupy.

And versus the 6,319 documented arrests so far at Occupy protests.

It is of course irrelevant that the OWS movement is an inherently violent group of fascists.  With violent uprisings all over the country.

Because the same mainstream media that was all over “allegations” of Tea Party violence even though they didn’t exist has decided that the OWS movement is to be celebrated as being “non-violent” no matter how violent and fascist it is.

If you rely on liberal media for your “news” you are one pathetically stupid sucker.  You’re an obnoxious little baby hungrily sucking on the tits of propaganda.

Call The Occupy Protest Movement And The Left That It Comes From What It Truly Is: Fascist

A couple of recent stories about Occupy protestors:

Police arrest 6 at Oakland protest
5:06 PM, Jan. 8, 2012

OAKLAND, Calif. (WTW) — Six people are facing charges after Oakland police say they broke the windows of police cars, vandalized a television news van and threw bottles at police officers.

Police spokeswoman Johnna Watson says the six were arrested on a variety of charges, including assaulting officers, possession of explosives and vandalism during a march and protest in downtown Oakland late Saturday.

Watson says officers found and an explosive device described as a quarter stick of dynamite on one of the suspects they arrested.

After the protest, Occupy Oakland issued a release saying the march was held as a protest against recent police actions.

The arrests came during a week in which protesters tried to occupy the mayor’s office, and police cleared demonstrators from the plaza in front of City Hall, arresting 12 people.

For the record, political “protestors” who possess these kind of explosives are rightly labelled “terrorists” in every single other context.  And this isn’t the first time that the label “terrorist” correctly applied to the Occupy movement due to their being caught in possession of violent explosive devices.

Then theres this:

Report: Obama admin sends Coast Guard to protect ships from violent union members, occupiers
By Matthew Boyle – The Daily Caller Published: 1:39 PM 01/12/2012 | Updated: 12:23 AM 01/13/2012

President Barack Obama’s administration has ordered the United States Coast Guard to protect grain ships at the Port of Longview from violent “Occupy” protesters and dockworker union members, according to a local news report.

The Daily News in Longview, Wash., reported that the Coast Guard will protect a grain shipment from an onslaught of “Occupy” protesters and members of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU). The ship will be transporting grain to Asia. A date for the shipment has not yet been set.

The group of leftwing activists had shut down ports all along the West Coast on Dec. 8, including the Port of Longview. The Coast Guard will apparently be helping the ship load its grain at the port, and then depart for Asia, safely.

The local unions and “Occupy” groups are planning to band together to protest the Coast Guard protections of the grain shipment when it happens.

The Coast Guard is a part of the United States Armed Forces and ordinarily falls under the authority of the Department of Homeland Security. The president can, however, at any time, move the Coast Guard to operate under the U.S. Department of Navy, and Congress can do the same during times of war. As the nation’s commander-in-chief, President Obama has the ability to control what actions the Coast Guard takes.

The Daily News reported that the ILWU said it has no plans to stop the grain ship.

Dockworker union members have protested the port since last January, according to a report on the World Socialist Web Site (WSWS).

Let’s pretend that the Tea Party had done stuff like that.  I would say I can’t imagine how unglued the mainstream media would have become, but that really isn’t true – because they came maximally unglued over the Tea Party even though the Tea Party hadn’t done ANYTHING EVEN CLOSE to that fascist crap.

It wasn’t very long ago that I wrote about the Occupy movement – the same Occupy movement which held a seminar in COMMUNISMshutting down the capitalist system using whatever means were necessary.

I keep documenting it.  And yet the same mainstream media that demonized the PEACEFUL AND CLEAN Tea Party continues to falsely depict the Occupy movement as a “positive” political force for good.

Occupy Movement Costs America UNTOLD MILLIONS ($2.3 Milion In L.A. ALONE) Versus Tea Party Movement Which MADE Cities Money

December 29, 2011

Vote for the Democrats: vote for the collapse of America!  Vote for destroying the Great Satan!

The Tea Parties got screwed by dishonest government (of course; what ELSE is new?!?!); they followed the law and purchased permits for their demonstrations.  Governments didn’t impose such “social justice” on Occupy.  And when the Tea Party movement in Richmond, Virginia demanded that they be treated like the Occupy Movement, they got slapped with an obviously punitive audit.

By paying for their permits and for not melting down with violence, cities made money off the Tea Party.  The Tea Party was a good thing to have around.

The Occupy movement just, well, occupied.  Screw the law.  Screw anybody they disagree with.  Screw doing things the right way.  Screw justice.  Screw honor.  Screw personal hygiene.  For that matter, screw women against their wills.

But don’t forget the media condemned the Tea Party.  Because buying permits, peacefully demonstrating and then cleaning up your own trash afterward is simply not the American way according to Democrats.  Because they abhor personal responsibility; holding people accountable for their despicable conduct just isn’t compatible with their vision of “social justice” in which only people they don’t like should be held accountable if for nothing other than their hard work and resultant success.

Vote for Democrats!  Vote for an end to any incentive whatsoever to set your alarm and wake up early so you can go to work!  “Social justice” means parasitically leeching off of others while you spread rats and lice and filth and bed bugs and raw sewage and STDs and typhus and tuberculosis.  Oh, and “social justice” means free rapes, too.  Because, you know, who are YOU to impose your intolerant and narrow-minded Christian morality on me and tell me not to rape?

I mean, dang, that’s what “occupy” is ALL ABOUTOccupy women’s bodies!  And why should they have any more say in the matter than anywhere ELSE where we vile lefties occupy anyway?

Well, okay, maybe I’m being too harsh.  After all, they set up rape tents to prevent more raping in many camps.  And they requested the rapist leave after his raping:

A sex fiend barged into a woman’s tent and sexually assaulted her at around 6 a.m., said protesters, who chased him from the park.

“Pervert! Pervert! Get the f–k out!” said vigilante Occupiers, who never bothered to call the cops.

“They were shining flashlights in his face and yelling at him to leave,” said a woman who called herself Leslie, but refused to give her real name.

She said that weeks earlier another woman was raped.

“We don’t tell anyone,” she said. “We handle it internally. I said too much already.”

I mean, seriously, what more do you want?

Vote Democrat!  Vote for typhus, tuberculosis and the spread of disease!  Rats and lice have a right to “occupy” too!

And vote Democrat!  Vote for rape!  I mean, come on guys, YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!!!  And the Occupiers have a way to let you do it and not even bother with the cops!!!

You’re a racist if you disapprove.  In fact, your disapproving is all the proof we need to know that you make more than a million dollars a year.  Because you’re a one-percenter, and we don’t have to listen to one-percenters.

The cost of “Occupy” on our society is incalculable.  Because the same mainstream media that endlessly demonized the Tea Party blessed the vileness of Occupy.

But also because it just flat-out cost cities that are already struggling to deal with the horror of the Obama economy untold millions of dollars:

Occupy Protests Across the Country Take Toll on City Budgets
By SUSANNA KIM (@skimm)
Nov. 18, 2011

It’s unclear what the Occupy protests have accomplished, but police have received a bonanza of overtime, making up a large part of at least $10.3 million in costs incurred by nine cities since the protesters began gathering near Wall Street two months ago.

Occupy Wall Street catalyzed dozens, if not hundreds, of protests across the world. New York City alone has spent about $6 million on costs related to Occupy Wall Street, not including the eviction on Tuesday, according to Howard Wolfson, the mayor’s deputy for government relations.

Philadelphia racked up $492,000 in unanticipated police overtime through last week, according to Rebecca Rhynhart, budget director. Rhynhart said the city is estimating that costs could reach $2.5 million if the protest lasts through the fiscal year, or June 30.

“It’s an unanticipated expense but we’re managing it,” Rhynhart said. The city has a budget of $3.5 billion. “In order to pay for it, there’s less money for other things. ”  [I must here interject that if the Tea Party costs Philadelphia fifty bucks the same budget director would have been decrying the evil fascist robbery of the poor people].

Oakland spent over $1 million to pay police overtime, according to the Washington Post.

Portland estimated $750,000 so far for police overtime and damage related to its parks has cost $50,000 to $100,000, according to Amy Ruiz, communications director for Mayor Sam Adams.

In Seattle, protests will cost $625,999 from the week that ended in Oct. 14 to the end of Nov. 25. The largest chunk goes to overtime for Seattle police: $580,468.

The extra costs to Seattle’s parks comprise $21,471 of the total and the department of finance and administrative services, which just gave protesters permission for a permit to use part of city hall’s plaza on Tuesday, made up the rest at $24,060.

The Boston police department estimated overtime costs in regards to the Occupy Boston movement to be about $575,000 so far, according to Elaine Driscoll director of communications of the department.

In Atlanta, protests cost $451,691 from Oct. 7 to 25, with almost three-quarters going to overtime to police, said Mayor Kasim Reed on Nov. 2.

Occupy Atlanta released a statement that week in response.

“Today we were all dismayed by Mayor Kasim Reed’s claim that our nonviolent demonstration against corporate greed and economic inequities cost the city over $400,000. This is, of course, a factual error,” according to the statement in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The group said the mayor “spent the people’s money on an extreme excessive police presence that rivals any big-budget Hollywood production to manage several hundred peaceful demonstrators that wanted nothing more than public space to assemble and air grievances.”

Occupy Denver led to overtime for various city departments during five days of protest in October at about $365,000, said the safety manager’s office, according to the Denver Post.

The protests are estimated to cost $200,000 a week for the rest of the year. This week, the police department asked for an increase of $6 million in its budget, “citing Occupy as a small but unspecified portion of the cost,” the Post reported.

Cincinnati has spent about $128,000 in police overtime, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer last week.

Those are old figures, and the mainstream media is hushing up about the total costs of a movement in which protestors were arrested by the thousands (against that “violent” Tea Party in which basically nobody was arrested).  And the only violence we saw was when a liberal animal bit off the finger of a man he believed to be guilty of the charge of having attended a Tea Party event (the man hadn’t, but it was “social justice” to bite his finger off anyway).

Here’s a more recent figure of what Occupy costs Los Angeles all by itself:

Occupy L.A. cost city $2.3 million; most of that will boost budget deficit
December 23, 2011 |  3:14pm

Occupy L.A.’s two-month encampment outside Los Angeles City Hall cost taxpayers at least $2.3 million, most of which will have to be added to the growing deficit in the city’s current year budget, according to a report issued Friday.

The Los Angeles Police Department, which raided the camp Nov. 30 and arrested nearly 300 people, spent $1.2 million on time-and-a-half overtime pay as a result of the extended protest, said City Administrative Officer Miguel Santana, who wrote the report. Meanwhile, the General Services Department’s police force, which patrols city parks and buildings, racked up $335,000 in overtime during the encampment.

[…]

Carlos Marroquin, an Occupy L.A. representative, called the report’s figures “outrageous” and said the city should have been setting aside money for protests and other special events all along. Marroquin said such an intense police response was unnecessary and accused city leaders of trying to scapegoat the protesters.

You know, the same way the same people who are part of the deranged lice-ridden Occupy Movement screamers scapegoated the Tea Party protestors who did no wrong and no harm to anyone.

The Occupy Movement – as dishonorable as it is disease-ridden – retaliated against the police for doing their jobs as reported by the Washington Times:

Computer hackers are avenging the Occupy movement by exposing the personal information of police officers who evicted protesters and threatening family-values advocates who led a boycott of an American Muslim television show.

In three Internet postings last week, hackers from the loose online coalition called Anonymous published the email and physical addresses, phone numbers and, in some cases, salary details of thousands of law enforcement officers all over the country.

The hackers said they were retaliating for police violence during evictions of Occupy protest camps in cities around the country, but law enforcement advocates slammed the disclosures as dangerous.

“I hope the individuals behind these cyberattacks understand the consequences of what they are doing,” said John Adler, president of the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association. “There are very dangerous criminals out there who might seek retribution” against any of these police officers.

Yeah, the cops and their families have been put in direct danger by the Occupy Movement, it is true.  But as anyone associated with the Occupy Movement (or the Democrat Party that – literally – blessed them), cops are pigs and their family members are pigs, too.

Vote for the Democrat Party that will teach those pigs and their pig families lessons they’ll never forget so we can achieve the complete societal collapse we’ve always yearned for!

The Occupy Movement has destroyed jobs wherever it has ventured, whether it be New York where it all started (and see here for more on New York) or Oakland or Eugene or anywhere else these vermin when to spread their filth.

Vote for Democrats!  Vote for job destruction!

Vote for the complete implosion of America!  Vote for the end to the Great Satan!  Vote Democrat!

And, yeah, that literally IS the way liberals look at America.  Kill all those damn American G.I. Joes!!!

It truly is amazing.  Barack Obama does so much damage to the U.S. economy that people live in camps to protest.  And, being liberal morons, they protest against everybody and everything BUT the Democrats who are running the country and the liberal policies that are ruining the country.

Read Up On USSR And Decide What You Think About It – Because Obama Is Trying To Bring It To America

December 13, 2011

What do you think about the White House getting to decide what kind of widget to produce and how many widgets businesses should make?

I’m going to go on the record stating that I’m not so keen on moving in that direction.

But that’s the direction Barack Obama wants us to go in, as most recently illustrated by his attempt to create a new “Office of Manufacturing Policy.”

Obama establishes an Office of Manufacturing Policy
By John Schmid of the Journal Sentinel
Dec. 12, 2011 9:42 a.m.

At a time when economists say U.S. manufacturing policy is in “disarray,” the Obama administration on Monday said it has created a new Office of Manufacturing Policy to be co-chaired by the Commerce Department Secretary and the director of the White House National Economic Council.

“At this make or break time for the middle class and our economy, we need a strong manufacturing sector that will put Americans back to work making products stamped with three proud words: Made in America,” President Barack Obama said in a statement.

Wisconsin leads the nation with the highest share of its workforce employed in manufacturing.

The new office expands on a previous appointment for a government adviser on manufacturing, known as a “manufacturing czar.” Washington has had no fewer than three such “manufacturing czars” installed as White House advisers in the course of two administrations. Ron Bloom, Obama’s policy adviser on manufacturing, resigned in August.

This is illustrative of how liberals operate.  Yes, we DO need a strong manufacturing sector in America.  It is literally a matter of our continued survival that we turn around the trend of America losing its ability to manufacture.  But it’s NOT because we didn’t have a damn “czar” or enough government control over manufacturing.  Rather, it is because we have the second-highest corporate tax rate on the entire planet; it is because Obama has tried to saddle employers with shocking levels of regulation that amount to a massive hidden tax of $1.7 TRILLION; and it is because labor unions have either crippled or outright destroyed every single industry they have been allowed to penetrate.  And we are not manufacturing anything because we cannot compete with the rest of the world wearing the giant anchor around our necks that Democrats have insisted we wear.

You need to make up your mind.  You either think, “Dang, if we just had more centralized government planning.  Because Obama knows how to run a company in Texas better than anyone in that company possibly does.  If we could only have one more czar that would solve our problems.”  Or else you think, “Get this stupid government monstrosity off our backs so we have at least have a damn chance to compete against the rest of the planet!”

You either agree with Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama that the following is good for our economy and our productivity and our ability to create new jobs –

Occupy shuts down 3 West Coast ports
(CBS/AP)

OAKLAND, Calif. – More than 1,000 Occupy Wall Street protesters blocked cargo trucks at some of the West Coast’s busiest ports Monday, forcing terminals in Oakland, Calif., Portland, Ore., and Longview, Wash., to halt operations.

While the protests attracted far fewer people than the 10,000 who turned out Nov. 2 to shut down Oakland’s port, organizers declared victory and promised more demonstrations to come.

“The truckers are still here, but there’s nobody here to unload their stuff,” protest organizer Boots Riley said. “We shut down the Port of Oakland for the daytime shift and we’re coming back in the evening. Mission accomplished.”

Organizers called for the “Shutdown Wall Street on the Waterfront” protests, hoping the day of demonstrations would cut into the profits of the corporations that run the docks and send a message that their movement was not over.

The closures’ economic impact, however, wasn’t immediately clear.

The longshoremen’s union did not officially support the protests, but its membership cited a provision in its contract that allowed workers to ask to stay off the job if they felt the conditions were unsafe.

Some went home with several hours’ pay, while others left with nothing.

From Long Beach, Calif., to as far away as Anchorage, Alaska, and Vancouver, British Columbia, protesters beat drums and carried signs as they marched outside the gates.

Rain dampened some protests. Several hundred showed up at the Port of Long Beach and left after several hours.

The movement, which sprang up this fall against what it sees as corporate greed and economic inequality, is focusing on the ports as the “economic engines for the elite.” It comes weeks after police raids cleared out most of their tent camps.

The port protests are a “response to show them that it’s going to hurt their pocketbooks if they attack us brutally like that,” Riley said. […]

“Disrupting port activities makes it harder for U.S. manufacturing, the farm community and countless others to sell to customers and contribute to our nation’s economic recovery,” EGT chief executive Larry Clarke said. […]

A long line of big rigs sat outside one of the entrances, unable to drive into the port. Police in riot gear stood by as protesters marched in an oval and carried signs. Protesters cheered when they learned about the partial shutdown and then dispersed.

– or you think this crap is completely INSANE.  Particularly if you actually want to buy your kids something for Christmas – as this is time to hit when it will hurt our economy the most.

If you agree with Barack Obama that the Supreme Court is to be condemned because it “never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth and sort of more basic issues of political and economic justice in this society” and you think it would be good for government to “put together the actual coalitions of power through which you bring about redistributed change,” then you know who to vote for.

Me, I know damn well who to vote against.

If you agree with Obama that “I think that we can say that the Constitution reflected the enormous blind spot in this culture that carries on until this day and that the framers had that same blind spot,” then vote for him to just go ahead and replace the worthless document.

Me, I agree with founding father James Madison:

“That is not a just government … where the property which a man has in his personal safety and personal liberty, is violated by arbitrary seizures of one class of citizens for the service of the rest.”

I agree with Samuel Adams:

“The utopian schemes of leveling [wealth redistribution] and a community of goods, are as visionary and impractical as those which vest all property in the crown. These ideas are arbitrary, despotic, and, in our government, unconstitutional.”

I agree with Thomas Jefferson:

“I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.”

The same Thomas Jefferson who also said:

“The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.”

The same Jefferson who said:

“I think we have more machinery of government than is necessary, too many parasites living on the labor of the industrious.”

The same Jefferson who said:

“Loading up the nation with debt and leaving it for the following generations to pay is morally irresponsible. Excessive debt is a means by which governments oppress the people and waste their substance.”

The same Jefferson who said:

“To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.”

And the same Jefferson who said:

“To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt.”

I also agree with Abraham Lincoln:

Property is the fruit of labor. Property is desirable, is a positive good in the world. That some should be rich shows that others may become rich, and hence is just encouragement to industry and enterprise.

Either these men and all of our other founding fathers have an “enormous blind spot,” or Barack Obama is beyond blind.  It’s simply one or the other.

It’s time to choose what and who we believe in and what and who is a liar.

I have repeatedly challenged Democrats to explore Karl Marx’s central statement on communist economic philosophy:

“From each according to his ability, to each according to his means.”

and then compare it with some of Barack Obama’s statements:

“My attitude is that if the economy’s good for folks from the bottom up, it’s gonna be good for everybody… I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”

and explain precisely how these statements reflect a fundamentally different philosophy.

Because the simple fact of the matter is that they don’t.  What Obama is saying today is merely a slightly different way of saying what Karl Marx said – representing a philosophy that has since failed in every single nation and culture in which it has ever been tried or applied – more than a century ago.

If you want to live in the U.S.S.R., I would say please just move to North Korea or Cuba and leave America the hell alone.  But there is no question that you know which president will give you your U.S.S.R.

If you don’t want to live in the U.S.S.R., then please, PLEASE vote Republican so you won’t have to live in the U.S.S.R.

Liberalism = Marxism. See The Occupy Movement Shutting Down Ports, Capitalism, Jobs To Get Their Way (Communist Russian Revolution Part Deux)

December 12, 2011

Karl Marx summed up American liberalism better than anyone else (when he was actually writing about communism):

“From each according to his ability, to each according to his need”

I have often challenged Democrats to explain how their philosophy had nothing whatsoever to do with this essence-of-communism on this very blog.  Never once have I had a response.  Rather, I am greeted with the equivalent of the sound of “one hand clapping.”

We can all remember back to how the Obama regime, the Democrat Party and the mainstream media (the propaganda wing of the Obama regime and the Democrat Party) savaged the Tea Party.  Obama went so far as to classify us as “terrorists” via his Department of Homeland Security.  You know, along with combat veterans coming back from fighting for our liberty.  But then there’s the liberal and Democrat-blessed Occupy movement, with all of its rapes, drug overdoses, crime, violence, criminal defacement, mass arrests, contempt for authority and law, destruction of public property, not to mention giant piles of garbage rats and lice and all sorts of other parasites attracted by these parasites.

Journalists and reporters are the worst kind of liars, and fully deserve to “occupy” the lowest level of hell.  They posture themselves as “objective” and “neutral” when in fact they are shameless ideological tools of the left.  And in fact we can look back over history and see how the media has again and again been used to justify the rise of all of the regimes that were the most vile and murderous in human history.

This is the Occupy movement:

Occupy San Diego Holds Communism Seminar
The continuing appeal of history’s worst idea.
by John Hayward
12/05/2011

The San Diego chapter of the “Occupy Wall Street” movement has always been one of its more… colorful outposts.  They’re the ones who held a moment of silence in solidarity with the guy who shot at the White House, after all.  In the twilight of the Occupy saga, when only the hardcore crazies are left, places like San Diego are giving us a closer look at the “core beliefs” of the movement.

To that end, Occupy San Diego held a little seminar on the virtues of communism on Sunday.  The fun begins about six minutes into the clip.

[see video posted at Human Events]

There are a few things to be learned here, besides the astonishing historical ignorance and poor critical thinking skills of the Occupiers.  (Remember, a lot of these people are students.)  The enduring romantic appeal of a heavily sanitized communism should not be underestimated.  Communism and fascism were history’s worst ideas, but they experienced very different fates in the postwar era.  Communism evaded the deep grave in which fascism was rightly buried in Western society, and is still credited with marvelous good intentions, not least because it promises to free gullible young people from material concerns… by robbing them blind.

Thus, when the introductory speaker in San Diego repeats the hoary old promises that communism “seeks to eliminate the conditions in which the majority of workers live only to increase capital to fulfill the interests of the ruling class,” and “under communism, society’s wealth would be used in the interests of the workers,” she’s making it sound like advanced Obamanomics

Those ideas have not been discredited in the public mind, after causing a century of poverty and bloodshed, because Western academics will not allow them to be discredited.  Instead of reviewing the grisly wreckage of communist dungeon states and examining why those glittering visions of “everyone sharing everything” lead directly to gulags and enforced starvation, they ask their students to forget about all the unpleasant “mistakes” of totalitarian rulers who didn’t really understand the true communist genius, and restore full faith and credit in the good intentions of an invariably brutal and squalid system.

Later, the featured speaker muses that under socialism and Marxism, “everybody has a say, and all working-class people run society.”  Nothing could be further from the truth, and this delusion lies at the core of everything from the 80-proof Marxism sold at university lectures, to the white-lightning bathtub brew guzzled by the Occupiers… and the watered-down and focus-grouped socialism Barack Obama sells on a daily basis.  These people are simply ignoring the staggering amount of compulsive force necessary to make collectivist systems function.  The more “re-distributive” society becomes, the more force it must deploy against its people, and the less of a “say” they have in what occurs.

No amount of political activism, during the increasingly rare and ineffectual trips to the ballot box afforded under collectivist systems, can possibly replace the “say” working-class people exercise through the full ownership of their private property, and the accompanying economic liberty this provides.  What a dismal cultural and educational failure it is, to see so many young people who not only fail to understand this, but believe their ignorance makes them morally superior.  The Occupy Wall Street tragedy lies in its loss of appreciation for economic liberty, and the failure to appreciate that all other liberties ultimately spring from it, because if you own nothing, you can refuse nothing

Of course, since their defining act is the forcible appropriation of property they don’t own, and the refusal to contribute to its maintenance and repair, that’s not really a surprise.  The approval of compulsion for “righteous” ends is written into this movement’s DNA.

As to the final paragraph, it’s right on the money, fact-wise.  Here is the Occupy Movement leaving a million dollars in damage at just one protest sight; here is the Occupy Movement leaving thirty tons of literally toxic filth at just one sight; here’s the Occupy Movement destroying small businesses (see also here and here) and saying, “You don’t matter; your rights and your property don’t matter.  All that matters is our beloved movement.”

All across the country – in flagrent disregard of government orders – the Occupy movement “occupied” publicly owned areas and demonstrated the fact that they are quintessentially fascist.  When they blockaded streets, they were in effect saying, “We are usurping your rights to public streets that you paid for because we the fascisti trump you.  You have the right to do what we let you do, and nothing more.”

Keep in mind, while Barack Obama and Democrats self-righteously pretend that only they care about jobs that they ENDORSED and BLESSED this Marxist movement:

Occupy Ports: West Coast occupiers unite
For the first time, OWS movements plan a coordinated protest. Will it work?
Stephanie RiceDecember 9, 2011 06:26

OAKLAND — As anti-Wall Street protesters attempt to regroup and settle in for winter after a series of police raids that stripped much of the movement of its signature camps, protesters on the West Coast are staging a comeback.

On Dec. 12, Occupy movements from Seattle to San Diego say they will shut down their local ports, temporarily stopping the flow of capital on the West Coast. Organizers say they aim to disrupt the business of the “1 percent” — in this case, the corporations that own shipping terminals and do business at the ports.

If successful, shutting down the West Coast port system would be a massive show of power for a movement that in some cities seems to have lost some of its momentum along with the camps. It would also mark the first time the loosely organized and very decentralized Occupy movements have coordinated in a major way.

Occupy World: What OWS is really about

The action comes at a pivotal moment for the two-month-old movement, with protesters facing down a chill both from dropping temperatures and authorities who are increasingly losing patience with tents outside City Hall.

In recent weeks, police have cleared large encampments in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Philadelphia and elsewhere. In Boston, protesters were ordered Thursday to clear out by midnight, although the deadline passed and police did not evict them.

“It’s a really incredible opportunity to build infrastructure for communication between the different movements,” said Jed Johnson, a 26-year-old baker and barista who attended a recent port-shutdown planning meeting in Oakland.

Occupy World: Curtains for Occupy Boston?

“There’s a little bit of a lull right now,” he added. “Stuff like this is important to keep people out here.”

The move has also galvanized Occupy movements in other cities. Texas occupiers have called for protesters to gather in Houston and march on that city’s port. Even landlocked Denver is trying to get in on the action, with plans to protest at a local Wal-Mart distribution center.

In Oakland, protesters like Johnson are hoping for a repeat of Nov. 2, when tens of thousands converged en masse on the Port of Oakland, successfully stopping the flow of goods overnight.

It could be more complicated this time. The powerful International Longshore and Warehouse Union, which represents most of the port workers whom protesters say they are supporting, has publicly rejected the blockade effort.

“It appears here that outside groups intent on driving their own agendas outside of the ILWU and the Coast Longshore Division are attempting to co-opt the Union,” ILWU leaders wrote in a Nov. 21 memo to union locals.

Some protesters say they believe the rank-and-file port workers are with them and that union leaders are simply being careful to avoid legal problems that could arise if it appeared they were endorsing the shutdown.

Others are taking pains to avoid potential conflicts they worry could strain the warm relationship Occupy has shared with labor groups so far.

In Vancouver, Canada, Occupy member Mya Mayhem said protesters are still talking with local ILWU members and haven’t decided whether their demonstration that day will include attempting to halt port business.

“It is definitely our plan to send as much of a message as we can to union busters and environmental polluters but (we) are striving to maintain a good working relationship with our unions at the same time,” Mayhem wrote in an email.

“As soon as we find out what method will best represent the 99 percent we will go ahead,” Mayhem added.

In Oakland, officials are taking the threat of a second shutdown seriously. Port commissioners recently took out a full-page ad in local papers, reading in part:

“Shutting down the Port of Oakland is a bad idea. Another shutdown will only make things worse — diverting cargo, tax revenue, and jobs to other communities. It will hurt working people and harm our community.”

To bring port traffic to a standstill, protesters need to have enough people blocking terminal entrances so that a local arbitrator declares the situation a health and safety hazard, which will effectively stop port activity until the crowds dissipate or are cleared away.

In Oakland, it remains unclear whether protesters can mobilize those numbers the way they did on Nov. 2, when massive crowds streamed into the port and easily shut it down.

Unlike on Nov. 2, these days there is no camp outside City Hall. A small number of protesters — including at least one “tree-sitter” perched in a Sycamore — have been maintaining a vigil at the quiet plaza. But the space no longer provides the sense of community and visible reminder of the movement’s existence it did when there were 180 tents in it.

Numbers have been dwindling at general assemblies, the meetings where protesters discuss and vote on proposals. At several recent general assemblies, protesters have struggled to keep at least 100 — the number required to bring proposals to a vote — in the outdoor amphitheater that at one point swelled with crowds of more than 1,000.

“There is a sense of loss,” said Lucas, a member of Occupy Oakland’s finance committee who, like many protesters, gave only his first name. “What the camp did was provide a sense of place.”

But Lucas said he has faith that protesters will carry on without their tents. “The fact that the camp is not here does not change that we are living in a time of the most radical increase in inequality in history,” he said.

In economically hard-hit California, the movement does appear to have traction with the public. A recent Field Poll of 1,000 Californians found that 58 percent agree with the underlying reasons for the protest. A little less than half — 46 percent — said they personally identify with the movement.

For now, the toughest challenge may be simply building enough momentum to get through the winter, when protest activities — especially those by campus groups — are generally expected to quiet down.

And for those holdout cities still maintaining camps, the dropping temperatures pose a major obstacle.

Reached by phone earlier this week, Occupy Denver member Jeannie Hartley said she had more immediate concerns than her group’s involvement in the port shutdown day — mainly the roughly 50-75 people, a mix of homeless and activists, she said, who remain outside in record-cold temperatures.

“It’s going to be minus-6 degrees tonight,” Hartley said, “and we’ve got people camping.”

Check out GlobalPost’s full coverage on Occupy Wall Street here.

There’s a story that came out in the Associated Press that started like this:

Los Angeles—The Occupy LA protesters are gone, but Susan Hutchinson wonders if her customers will ever come back.

The manager of a downtown farmers market stared toward a barricaded City Hall park Thursday, where vendors until recently sold baskets of plump strawberries and tomatoes, buttery croissants and bunches of fresh-cut roses. The weekly, open-air market was uprooted from the park by the two-month Occupy LA protest, and merchants suffered when relocated across the street from what became a squalid encampment of earnest activists, disenchanted youth, the homeless and drug abusers.

“We were collateral damage,” Hutchinson lamented about the political protest that became “more like a refugee camp.” A quarter of vendors stopped coming and business fell off by as much as 50 percent for those that remained.

Hutchinson’s complaints were among scores heard by City Hall leading up to the decision by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa to evict hundreds of protesters from the park in a late-night raid, resulting in nearly 300 arrests last week. The behind-the-scenes pressure added weight to more obvious problems, from illegal drug use to seeping portable toilets to lice.

The left is as filthy and parasitic as the lice that inhabit their bodies.

They crush little people in the name of the little people.  And then count on other little people to be too ignorant to understand that fact.

Further down the article, there’s another quote:

Occupy activists are unapologetic and say critics are missing the big picture by focusing on inconveniences instead of the broader problems of society and the camp’s efforts to raise awareness.

You see, under Marxism and under fascism, the ends justify the means.  People who demand that we have more and more and more government power and government control have the right to ignore government power and government control in order to push their agenda.  They have the right to shut down and destroy your business and the livelihoods of your employees to demand more “jobs.”

Hypocrisy is their quintessential essence.

Here’s the cost of just the Occupy L.A. movement alone as estimated by a liberal Democrat mayor:

Last week the park looked like a faded industrial yard—concrete barriers topped with chain-link fencing walled off what was left of the lawn, once popular with sunbathers and tourists. Villaraigosa has said the cleanup and repair to the park might cost more than $1 million.

And somehow they started out with a beautiful park paid for with Other People’s Money and they turned it into a representation of what is truly in their own ugly souls: a Berlin Wall in microcosm.

This is the true soul of liberalism and the true soul of the Democrat Party.  The more power they get, the uglier they become.

These people don’t want jobs and they don’t give one damn about the little guy.  All they want is power and control and the ability to decide who wins and who loses.  The essence of the right is individual liberty based on the principles of free-markets and limited central government.  The essence of the left is totalitarianism.

The Russian people and the German people got what was coming to them, and we’re getting what is coming to us, too.  Because we all made the same mistake; we trusted in leftists to take control of our government and thus take control of our economy and our lives.  The only question as to how long we will suffer and how bad our suffering will be is merely a question as to how long we are willing to allow the people that I describe above to have power.

Ten Stories Showing Why Government Unions Are Just Really, Really Bad For America

December 1, 2011

The Democrat Party has become profoundly un-American.  But hey, don’t believe me – believe Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who presumably understood the Democrat Party as it used to be.

Government unions are the worm-ridden heart and cockroach soul of the modern Democrat Party.

And Jarrett Skorup  provided ten examples showing how and why that’s a seriously bad thing for America:

10 Stories Showing Why Mandatory Government Collective Bargaining Is Counterproductive
By Jarrett Skorup | Nov. 29, 2011

“All Government employees should realize that the process of collective bargaining, as usually understood, cannot be transplanted into the public service. It has its distinct and insurmountable limitations when applied to public personnel management. The very nature and purposes of Government make it impossible for administrative officials to represent fully or to bind the employer in mutual discussions with Government employee organizations.”

– Franklin Delano Roosevelt

In an email conversation leaked this past week by the left-leaning advocacy group Progress Michigan, Mackinac Center senior legislative analyst and CapCon commentator Jack McHugh wrote, “Our goal is (to) outlaw government collective bargaining in Michigan, which in practical terms means no more MEA.” Despite wariness of public-sector unionization by progressives like President Franklin D. Roosevelt and former AFL-CIO union leader George Meany, the statement kicked up a storm, generating at least two press releases from groups that favor forcibly unionizing workers.

Regular readers of CapCon know that we have provided extensive coverage of government employee unions and the results of the policies they have put into place. The following is a list of the top 10 stories we have covered in the past year directly relating to the unionization of government employees or the results of policies advocated by public sector unions.

  • Parents Forced to Pay Union Dues, Lawmaker Rakes In Health Care Money”: Robert and Patricia Haynes take care of their two adult children, who are stricken with cerebral palsy. The children receive Medicaid money from the government in which the state takes out hundreds of dollars per year to send to the Service Employees International Union, which is a government employee union. Robert says the union does “nothing” for them. “We take care of our kids at home,” Haynes continued. “There aren’t any working condition issues. There are no raises to negotiate. There aren’t any union issues involved. But the money keeps being taken out of our checks anyway.”
  • Occupy … Government Union Offices?”: In Michigan, public employee salaries have risen 23 percent over the past few decades while private-sector wages have decreased by 20 percent.
  • Taxpayers’ K-12 Money Diverted to Union Business”: Statewide, 39 school districts pay out several million dollars per year to teachers who spend at least half of their time on union business.
  • 31 Gym Teachers Earn More Than Town Police Chief”: In Utica, the fire chief earns $73,440 and the police chief earns $79,000, but they are trumped by 31 physical education teachers from the local school district. The district closed four elementary schools while facing a $33 million deficit, but the vast majority of its gym teachers earn more than $80,000 per year in salary alone.
  • Troy Gym Teacher Pay Trumps Nationally Recognized Science Teacher”: Since most public school district union contracts act as a one-size-fits-all, teachers are paid based on longevity and degree level, not on how well they do their job. In Troy, this means that seven gym teachers make more money than Rebecca Brewer, an AP biology teacher honored as the ING national Innovative Teacher of the Year.
  • Royal Oak Schools: Buses Or Cadillac Health Care?”: The district eliminated bus services for students, saving $593,162 per year, but could have saved $894,707 by simply ensuring that employees pay 20 percent of their own health care costs. Taxpayers continue to pay 100 percent of the premiums for teachers’ health care.
  • Ten Total Fires and $30K in Average Overtime”: Superior Township firefighters were all paid more than their supervisor thanks to hefty overtime pay.
  • Average Lansing Teacher Missed 3.5 Weeks of School Last Year”: In the Lansing School District, the average teacher was absent 17.6 days during the 2010-11 school year. By comparison, LSD students can face legal action by the district if they accumulate more than 10.
  • Less Than 0.001 Percent of Tenured Teachers Fired Over Past Five Years”: Allegations of kissing students, head-locking children, sexual misconduct, drug use and distributing alcohol to minors was not enough to keep Michigan school districts from paying out millions to get rid of problem teachers in the past five years because of strict union-backed tenure rules.
  • Four School Districts Spend $525K in Attorney Fees Trying to Remove Four Tenured Teachers”: L’Anse Creuse Public Schools spent $158,522 from 2008-2010 to remove one tenured teacher. Swartz Creek Community Schools has spent $140,525 so far in an ongoing case to remove a teacher. Farmington Public Schools spent $116,830 to discharge a teacher in 2009. Mt. Morris Consolidated Schools has spent $109,000 removing one teacher.

In a Weekly Standard piece by professors Fred Siegel and Dan DiSalvo titled “The New Tammany Hall,” the problem of public employee unions is described:

Unlike private sector unions, the sheer number of workers represented is not the linchpin of [the public sector unions] influence. Private sector unions have a natural adversary in the owners of the companies with whom they negotiate. But public sector unions have no such natural counterweight. They are a classic case of “client politics,” where an interest group’s concentrated efforts to secure rewards impose diffused costs on the mass of unorganized taxpayers.

Michigan Capitol Confidential stories from this past year contain many examples of why government employee unionization is inherently corrupting and can result in a quid pro quo between the employees (the union) and the employer (the government). If government unions want to know why we feel their organizations can be a problem for Michigan taxpayers, they don’t need leaked emails: They should just read CapCon.

You show me a unionized industry today, and I will show you an industry that has either vanished like the Dodo bird or gone bankrupt.

Which is to say that a unionized America is a bankrupt America.  Oh, and a socialist and Marxist un-American America, while we’re at it.

In Obama’s God Damn America, Armed Illegals Stalk U.S. Border Patrol – With Weapons Supplied By Obama Administration

November 26, 2011

In God damn America, the economy is a shambles – and Obama’s “strategy” is to go around the country blaming everybody who IS NOT the president for his failure.

It’s kind of funny how that works: in 2008, everything was George Bush’s fault because he was the president – even though both the House and the Senate (2 out of 3 political branches of government) had been firmly in Democrat control for the previous two years.  Now the Republicans have one branch (out of 3) of government and they’re responsible for everything.  Which is the result of God damn America in media propaganda.

In God damn America, Iran gets nuclear weapons.  Because George Bush tried to do something about Iran’s nuclear weapons program and Barack Obama, Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton led the Democrats in demonizing him for doing it.  Also in God damn America, Iran perpetrates an act of war in trying to assassinate an official on U.S. soil – and Obama does nothing about it.

In God damn America, outrageous Obama Federal Reserve policy guts the value of the dollar (QE3?  Seriously?!?!?) and sends the oil-producing Arab economies into turmoil resulting in food riots the American propaganda machine euphemistically calls “the Arab Spring.”

In God damn America, Obama spends more and faster than any human being in the history of the human race as he rushes America toward bankruptcy and implosion and the worst economic depression in world history:

Sobering news from NRO’s Jim Geraghty:

In 946 days, Obama has increased the national debt by $4,022,412,621,434.77 or $4.02 trillion.

That amounts to $4,252,021,798.56 per day ($4.25 billion).

When the debt increases another $877,587,378,565.23 ($877.58 billion), the debt accumulated under Obama’s presidency will equal the debt accumulated under Bush’s two terms.

Obviously, this can change, but barring some sudden shift in the federal government’s borrowing and spending habits, this milestone will be reached in 206 days from August 23, 2011. That would be March 15, 2012.

But yeah, clearly Bush was the problem.

If spending continues at the normal pace through Inauguration Day 2013, it would add an additional $1,326,630,801,150.72 ($1.32 trillion) to the debt total.

Obama will have, in one term, raised the national debt by $6.22 trillion, 22 percent more than George W. Bush did in two terms.

Imagine how much time Obama’s successor will spend explaining how they inherited this mess…

The United States isn’t $15 trillion in debt – which of course would be bad enough, given that it is way more than 100% of America’s entire GDP it’s TWO HUNDRED TRILLION DOLLARS IN DEBT:

Boston University economist Laurence Kotlikoff says U.S. government debt is not $13.5-trillion (U.S.), which is 60 per cent of current gross domestic product, as global investors and American taxpayers think, but rather 14-fold higher: $200-trillion – 840 per cent of current GDP. “Let’s get real,” Prof. Kotlikoff says. “The U.S. is bankrupt.”

Writing in the September issue of Finance and Development, a journal of the International Monetary Fund, Prof. Kotlikoff says the IMF itself has quietly confirmed that the U.S. is in terrible fiscal trouble – far worse than the Washington-based lender of last resort has previously acknowledged. “The U.S. fiscal gap is huge,” the IMF asserted in a June report. “Closing the fiscal gap requires a permanent annual fiscal adjustment equal to about 14 per cent of U.S. GDP.”

This sum is equal to all current U.S. federal taxes combined. The consequences of the IMF’s fiscal fix, a doubling of federal taxes in perpetuity, would be appalling – and possibly worse than appalling.

We deserve it all, of course.  America deserves to collapse, and her children deserve to starve in the ruins.  Because we were so depraved and so foolish we elected the most wicked man in our country’s history – and could actually do so AGAIN.

But I’m digressing, aren’t I?

There’s another feature of God damn America that I found particularly outrageous: illegal immigrant drug gang thugs are prowling around on U.S. soil targeting U.S. Border Patrol officers – with weapons that Obama gave them:

Armed illegals stalked Border Patrol
Mexicans were ‘patrolling’ when agent was slain, indictment says
By Jerry Seper – The Washington Times
Tuesday, November 22, 2011

Five illegal immigrants armed with at least two AK-47 semi-automatic assault rifles were hunting for U.S. Border Patrol agents near a desert watering hole known as Mesquite Seep just north of the Arizona-Mexico border when a firefight erupted and one U.S. agent was killed, records show.

A now-sealed federal grand jury indictment in the death of Border Patrol agent Brian A. Terry says the Mexican nationals were “patrolling” the rugged desert area of Peck Canyon at about 11:15 p.m. on Dec. 14 with the intent to “intentionally and forcibly assault” Border Patrol agents.

At least two of the Mexicans carried their assault rifles “at the ready position,” one of several details about the attack showing that Mexican smugglers are becoming more aggressive on the U.S. side of the border.

According to the indictment, the Mexicans were “patrolling the area in single-file formation” a dozen miles northwest of the border town of Nogales and — in the darkness of the Arizona night — opened fire on four Border Patrol agents after the agents identified themselves in Spanish as police officers.

Two AK-47 assault rifles found at the scene came from the failed Fast and Furious operation.

Using thermal binoculars, one of the agents determined that at least two of the Mexicans were carrying rifles, but according to an affidavit in the case by FBI agent Scott Hunter, when the Mexicans did not drop their weapons as ordered, two agents used their shotguns to fire “less than lethal” beanbags at them.

At least one of the Mexicans opened fire and, according to the affidavit, Terry, a 40-year-old former U.S. Marine, was shot in the back. A Border Patrol shooting-incident report said that Terry called out, “I’m hit,” and then fell to the ground, a bullet having pierced his aorta. “I can’t feel my legs,” Terry told one of the agents who cradled him. “I think I’m paralyzed.”

Bleeding profusely, he died at the scene.

After the initial shots, two agents returned fire, hitting Manuel Osorio-Arellanes, 33, in the abdomen and leg. The others fled. The FBI affidavit said Osorio-Arellanes admitted during an interview that all five of the Mexicans were armed.

Peck Canyon is a notorious drug-smuggling corridor.

Osorio-Arellanes initially was charged with illegal entry, but that case was dismissed when the indictment was handed up. It named Osorio-Arellanes on a charge of second-degree murder, but did not identify him as the likely shooter, saying only that Osorio-Arellanes and others whose names were blacked out “did unlawfully kill with malice aforethought United States Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry while Agent Terry was engaged in … his official duties.”

The indictment also noted that Osorio-Arellanes had been convicted in Phoenix in 2006 of felony aggravated assault, had been detained twice in 2010 as an illegal immigrant, and had been returned to Mexico repeatedly.

Bill Brooks, U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s acting southwest border field branch chief, referred inquiries to the FBI, which is conducting the investigation. The FBI declined to comment.

The case against Osorio-Arellanes and others involved in the shooting has since been sealed, meaning that neither the public nor the media has access to any evidence, filings, rulings or arguments.

The U.S. attorney’s office in San Diego, which is prosecuting the case, would confirm only that it was sealed. Also sealed was the judge’s reason for sealing the case.

Story Continues →

But hey, don’t you worry.  Obama is on top of it.

In addition to doing everything he can do to protect his lackey at the Department of Injustice, Eric Holder – who is clearly lying and covering up this fiasco – Obama also promoted all the principles involved with letting the guns walk to Mexico into the hands of drug cartels to insure they won’t testify against him.

And Obama is also doing everything he can to win the Hispanic vote by looking the other way on illegal immigration and undermining ICE and the Border Patrol from doing their jobs.  To the complete and total disregard of the Constitution and his oath of office as president.

Obama told the Hispanic group La Raza (which means “The Race” (because these people are a hard-core racist fascist anti-American fifth column) that he couldn’t allow hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants to simply walk away free (in America)  –

“The idea of doing things on my own is very tempting. I promise you, not just on immigration reform. But that’s not how our system works. That’s not how our democracy functions. That’s not how our Constitution is written.”

and then he did it anyway.  Because this is God damn America now.  And that’s what happens in God damn America.  And so what if it’s un-American (“that’s not how our system works”), anti-democratic (“that’s not how our democracy functions”) and unconstitutional (“that’s not how our Constitution is written”)???  Democrats piss on ALL of that stuff every single day of their cockroach lives.

Here’s how Obama has “protected” America – and it makes me want to puke:

This country deserves to suffer until the American people refuse to suffer this outrageous fool who is working to bring about America’s implosion and replacement with a Marxist State (and see here for an even MORE disgusting example).  And then see here to realize that the entire liberal-Democrat “Occupy Movement” is all about bringing about economic collapse.

When God damns a nation, He first does so by giving that nation the leaders it deserves – like Adolf Hitler or Joseph Stalin or Mao Tse-Tung or Pol Pot or Kim Il Sung or Barack Obama.

He allows them to believe lies and then believe lies on top of other lies.

He allows them to destroy their own nation and their own people.

And that’s where we are now.  We’re God damn America.

Vile Liberal Occupy Movement Killed The Grass At L.A. City Hall – What Should Be Done Now?

November 16, 2011

The LA Times has this to say about the Occupy Movement’s only documented “accomplishment” thus far:

Now, about L.A. City Hall’s lawn
Occupy L.A. has killed the grass. A water-wise garden should take its place.
By Emily Green
November 16, 2011

Whatever the accomplishments of Occupy L.A. when it finally decamps — or gets evicted — from around City Hall, one positive achievement is already clear: It has killed the lawn.

The Times’ editorial board has harrumphed about the taxpayer expense of replacing one of downtown’s “rare green spaces,” and it worries that the “majestic figs” are at risk. Last week, the Department of Recreation and Parks sent an aggrieved letter to the mayor about signs nailed to trees, broken sprinkler heads and compacted soil. The nails and compacted soil are unfortunate. But really, Rec and Parks is missing the point. Occupy L.A. has given City Hall the chance to walk its talk.

For more than two years, the mayor and the City Council have been preaching water conservation. Yet since they instituted a citywide sprinkler ordinance in 2009, and even started paying single-family homes a buck a square foot to rip out lawns, by the Department of Water and Power’s own estimate 54% of the water used by single-family homes still goes outside. The government is almost as profligate: 41% of its water is outdoor use. Much of this goes to lawns.

Los Angeles cannot be expected to improve these numbers unless the mayor and the City Council lead by example. Other cities, such as Austin, Texas, understand this. In 2004, Austin responded to chronic overuse of the local aquifer by surrounding its City Hall with native gardens irrigated by a rain-catchment system.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles has left a plan for re-landscaping City Hall with a similarly progressive garden stuck somewhere between the bureaus of sanitation and engineering. City officials will neither confirm nor deny the existence of the plan, but word in the landscape design community is that it is stalled because of lack of funds.

This insistence that we cling to a wasteful model because conservation is too expensive doesn’t scan. Whatever hard times the city faces, the real deficit isn’t money. It’s skill. The inertia isn’t budgetary. It’s cultural.

Until Occupy L.A. smothered it last month, lawn remained around Los Angeles City Hall in part because that’s what Rec and Parks knows how to tend. To have a garden that celebrates our Mediterranean climate the way Austin’s salutes Texas prairie, Rec and Parks staff would need to learn how to weed instead of mow, mulch instead of blow and maintain drip irrigation instead of sprinklers.

Since the largely drought-tolerant sweeps of palo verde trees, succulents and desert palms went in near City Hall around police headquarters in 2009, lead landscape architect Scott Baker has become so demoralized by Rec and Parks maintenance that he sounds halfway between heartbroken and bitter. Asked what might be done around City Hall, he said, “I don’t think that this city deserves any great green spaces until they can figure out ahead of time how to maintain it.”

Thanks to Occupy L.A., Los Angeles will have the perfect place to learn. Stephen Billings, landscape architect behind the year-old gardens around the Valley Performing Arts Center in Northridge, managed the wide use of native trees and grasses only by working from inception with the facilities staff of Cal State Northridge. As Billings sees it, the teaching gardens around City Hall could be temporary until grounds staff were skilled enough to maintain a suitably stately model. “It’s a new time,” he said. “It’s about learning. It’s not about keeping up appearances.”

[…]

And the article continues to drone on and on.  Blah blah blah.  And then more blah.

You see, I’ve got a much better way to deal with the fact that liberals have killed the lawn and the landscaping around city hall.  Let it stay exactly as it is.

Let it remain exactly as it is as an object lesson of what liberalism does: it ruins.  It destroys.  It kills.  And then, of course, it seeks to take the very damn “crisis” that it itself created and turn it into yet another boondoggle symptom of the very liberalism that created the mess in the first place.

Oh, we might spend a few bucks on the formerly hallowed (before liberals pissed and crapped all over it) landscape of the formerly beautiful Los Angeles City Hall – to buy a big sign.  It would contain a “before” and “after” photo of the grounds and state simply, “Liberals did this.  Don’t let them do it to you.”

My solution will be far, FAR less expensive than Emily Green’s.  And it will actually tell the real story.

Here’s another solution: make the worthless Occupy cockroaches get off the damn grass or at least confiscate every single thing that the as a “community” own to force them to pay for the millions of dollars in taxpayer money they (literally) pissed away.  Because I bet liberals would actually start getting responsible about the trillions of dollars they piss away every damn year if it was THEIR DAMN MONEY.

Occupy Movement Officially A Terrorist Group Now

November 15, 2011

Note the part about “The subjects were questioned further about the explosives. Each of them said that they knew the “Ball” canning jar would explode and cause glass shrapnel to fly out and possibly cause injury to anyone close to it.”

From KMTR News:

I-5 traffic stop yields incendiary devices and gas masks

A traffic stop of a speeding vehicle led to the arrest of three men, who claimed to be Occupy Portland demonstrators, and the seizure of incendiary devices, gas masks and fireworks.Traffic Safety Deputy Ryan Postlewait saw a gray Subaru Outback going southbound on Interstate 5 near milepost 245 at 8:40am. It was traveling at a high rate of speed. Using his radar, he verified the speed of the Subaru at 81mph. Postlewait initiated a traffic stop. The driver of the car was identified as William Maxwell Patterson, 21. The passengers in the car were identified as Emery Nicholas Luff, 21 and Zachary Salzwedel-Kemp, 20. All three were from Klamath Falls.During his initial contact with Patterson, Deputy Postlewait detected the odor of marijuana coming from the interior of the car. A search of the car yielded a baggie of marijuana and paraphernalia for smoking marijuana.

In addition to the marijuana, Postlewait found a quantity of firecrackers and two commercially manufactured mortars like those fired into the air during professional pyrotechnic displays. The mortars were contained in glass “Ball” canning jars. One was found on the floorboard at Luff’s feet; the other was in a jacket belonging to Luff. Also found in the car were two gas masks, some protective eye goggles, and safety helmet.

All three suspects said that they had spent the night at the Occupy Portland demonstration. They admitted that they brought the seized items to the demonstration in preparation for a confrontation with police when they expected to be forcibly removed from the park. They admitted being at the protest during the police confrontation and had left about an hour before Postelwait stopped them.

During the earlier Occupy Portland confrontation between police and protesters, a Portland Police Officer was injured when protesters began throwing fireworks at them. These subjects denied being involved in throwing the fireworks at the Officer.

The subjects were questioned further about the explosives. Each of them said that they knew the “Ball” canning jar would explode and cause glass shrapnel to fly out and possibly cause injury to anyone close to it.

Salzwedel-Kemp and Patterson described an incident that occurred when they were younger. They put a homemade “Piccolo Pete” explosive inside a beer bottle and detonated it. The resulting explosion caused a shard of glass to fly into Salswedel; lacerating his leg so badly that he required stitches to close the wound.

All three were arrested and booked at the Marion County Jail:

Patterson is charged with Unlawful Possession of Fireworks and Possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 oz of marijuana). Patterson was cited & released from the jail with a December 12th court date. (photo attached)

Luff was charged with Unlawful Possession of Destructive Device, Unlawful Manufacture of Destructive Device and Unlawful Possession of Fireworks. Luff remains in jail with a court date of November 14th at 3:00pm. (photo attached)

Salzwedel-Kemp was charged with Unlawful Possession of Fireworks and Possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 oz of marijuana). Salzwedel-Kemp was cited & released from the jail with a December 12th court date. (photo attached)

The Portland Police Bureau was advised of the discovery and arrest. Officers working the demonstration were warned that other demonstrators might have devices similar to those seized from Luff, Patterson and Salzwedel-Kemp.

These demon-possessed lying Democrat cockroaches actually called the Tea Party movement “terrorists.”  Without so much as a single shred of fact to back up the charge.  Now we’ve got an out-of-control disease spreading riot going on all over the country – with thousands and thousands of arrests for disorderly conduct – and actual documented TERRORISM

What was it that Nancy Pelosi said about these terrorists?  Oh, yeah, that’s right: “God bless them“:

This is God damn America.  And God damn America is going down HARD unless it throws out these liberal vermin while there is still an America left to throw them out of.

The left has ALWAYS been the source of violence.  Fascism was always a leftwing enterprise, such that “NAZI” stood for “National SOCIALIST German WORKERS Party.”  The left has ALWAYS used “workers” to foment chaos and violenceAnd the Nazis are marching arm and arm with their liberal friends now.

And these liberal Nazi thugs are acting exactly like I TOLD you they would act:

Democrats are evil.  And the once great United States has become God damn America under them.

It is no coincidence that just looking at an America flag tends to make one a Republican and NOT a Democrat.  It is no coincidence that just going to a 4th of July event tends to make one become a Republican and NOT a Democrat.  Because the Democrat Party has become the Party of treason.

[Update, 11/16/11]: Did I say “terrorist”?

How about this latest?

The 21-year-old man alleged to have fired a semi-automatic rifle at the White House is believed to have spent time at Occupy Wall Street encampments.

Can you even imagine the uproar if a man who had been at Tea Party events took a shot at the Obama White House?  You would have had reporting about “Tea Party violence” and “Tea Party racism” for weeks.  And Politico would have run 138 stories about THAT along with their rabid attack against Herman Cain.

Glenn Beck predicted it.  And Glenn Beck was right.  The violence he saw overtaking Europe and then the Middle East was coming here, he accurately warned.  And when it came, it would be liberals who would be at the heart of it – just as the left has ALWAYS been at the heart of political violence.  And for the record, Beck stated that when Obama truly became the target of assassination, it would likewise come from the LEFT.  And note that I post that from a liberal who is shocked and outraged by the prediction that turns out to have been correct.

He quotes Beck in the following manner:

We also learned that when progressives lose, “all bets are off. They will cheat, they will lie, they will steal — and they have in the past blown things up if it helps them win.”

And then he directly quotes Beck:

Beck: I believe it could get ugly — so ugly, not only do I think the Republic is in danger, I think that we need to pay real attention — I think this president could be in real danger as well — something I have said for awhile. [….]

The most dangerous time in any regime, especially a radicalized regime, is when it is in collapse.

Watch the uber-Left. Pray that Obama moves to the center. If he does, pray that the Secret Service care for that man. That that man is never left alone. He has invited 9-11 Truthers into the White House and into his administration! If they believe that he’s ‘just another one of these guys,’ he is in danger.

The left has always been violent.  The left was violent in France in 1789.  And of course continued to be violent until the violence got so out of control it consumed itself and invited in a dictator.  The left was violent in Russia in 1917.  And of course that violence led to over forty million murders of Russia’s own people even during peacetime.  The left was violent in Germany in the 1930s.  And of course that violence consumed not only Germany but all of Europe in the greatest bloodbath of all human history.  The left was violent in China in the 1950s.  And Mao’s progressive Great Leap Forward murdered 45 million of his own people in just four years.  And of course the left has been violent in Cuba, in North Korea, in Cambodia and everywhere else it has ever been.

Including America from the very start, when DEMOCRATS pursued a vicious Civil War so they could keep their slaves, and then created the Ku Klux Klan as a terrorist wing of the Democrat Party to attack blacks and Republicans.  And that history of violence continued into the 20th century, when we saw their terrorism again and again – first in the labor unions and then in the 1960s radicals (think Obama’s terrorist pal William Ayers, for example).

And now – to quote Reagan – “here they go again.”

Update, just a little bit later on 11/16] Yep, I definitely said “terrorist.”  And how LIBERALS ARE TERRORISTS.

Now we’ve got this liberal calling for outright violence and death:

“Ain’t no more talking, They got guns we got bodies. They got bricks we got rocks. Let’s see what they got.

[Young man in the background] They got missiles, we got bombs.

I want them…I want them to make that decision so they can see…in a few days you going to see what a molotov cocktail can do to Macy’s.”

See it on Verum Serum, or see it on Youtube:

Just remember how the left and their mainstream media propagandists came after the “violent” Tea Parties without a shred of fact or evidence.  And then consider the avalanche of violence that we have seen coming from the left.

Picture Of America Going Down The Toilet: ‘The Penn State Pedophiles’ And The Occupy Movement

November 12, 2011

As I begin to write this, the Nebraska Cornhuskers are leading the Penn State Pedophiles 3-0.

Not that that matters.  What matters is what happened ten or so years ago – and how Penn State “handled” it at the time and how they handled it since that awful day when an assistant coach happened across another assistant coach sodomizing a ten year old boy in the Penn State locker room shower.

How would you have handled that situation?  I mean, let’s say, if you’d had so much as a shred of courage, or a semblance of moral outrage?  You probably wouldn’t have handled it the way Mike McQuery did: walk out – allowing Jerry Sandusky to continue his rape “unmolested” – and then mention the incident to Coach Paterno the next day.  What McQuery should have done, of course, was to go rescue that little boy and then explain afterward that he couldn’t remember killing Sandusky because all he saw was the image of that little boy’s face while Sandusky sodomized him.

But no, those kind of heroics and that kind of outrage just aren’t available anymore in “God damn America.”

What IS available is the outrage of moral idiots – and that in mass abundance – as 4,000 Penn State students violently rioted not because they are outraged that a Penn State coach actually sodomized boys in their showers, but rather because Penn State fired its head football coach in a decisions that will likely negatively impact the all-important Penn State football program.  That outrage we’ve got plenty of – as further proven by the “Occupy” movement that is going on all across the country.

The Occupy movement is moral idiocy in microcosm: on the one hand, the Occupy protesters are refusing to obtain permits (the Tea Party is suing because why the hell did they have to seek permits to protest when Occupy protesters don’t?); are camping illegally against the explicit orders of the police departments and the cities; are illegally dumping trash which is creating rat and lice problems and is literally threatening the health of cities across the nation:

[Metro Vancouver, November 1, 2011] The Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association want Occupy Vancouver’s tent city shut down due to sanitary conditions that could affect local businesses surrounding the Vancouver Art Gallery.

There have been reports of rats scurrying across the lawn of the Vancouver Art Gallery, causing the DVBIA to question the sanitation of the encampment.

and:

By the way, at Portland, Oregon, there was a head lice outbreak at Occupy Portland. Ah, it’s a terrible thing. I’m not making it up. Yeah, it’s somewhere up there. There’s a bad head lice outbreak. Let me see. Just a second. Let me find it. “Head and Body Lice Outbreak Announced in Occupy Portland Encampment.” Yeah, the future, the backbone of America — Occupy Portland, Occupy Wall Street, occupy whatever — and now women-only tent at Occupy Wall Street. “Occupy Vancouver Protester Died of Drug Overdose — A woman at Occupy Vancouver was found dead on Saturday. She apparently died of a drug overdose.” She was in her twenties. “On Monday a protester found dead in his tent at Occupy Oklahoma City. The organizers referred to the man as ‘a street poet.'” A homeless guy. This is from Gateway Pundit: “The camp organizers provided him with food…and shelter at the camp where he died,” but probably not paper and pencil to write his poetry so he got depressed. Canadian banks did escape a lot of the financial fallout, yes. So now, folks, with the head lice outbreak up in Portland, even the parasites have parasites. I hope that comment made you uncomfortable.

and:

As if the robberies, rapes, fistfights, arson, squatting, vandalism, knocking down old ladies, and other forms of peaceful protest weren’t enough, now the Occupy movement can lay claim to another glorious achievement: the spread of bodily parasites.

And while all of that is going on, the Occupy Portland protest is arming for VIOLENCE against the lawful authorities:

PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland police believe that some protesters inside the Occupy Portland encampments are building shields and makeshift weapons — including nails hammered into wood — in preparation for when authorities attempt to clear the parks this weekend, police said Friday.

But what do these liberal fascists want?

More and bigger government.  Oh, yeah.  They demand that government give them everything and do everything for them.  You know, except be allowed to police their rat- and lice-infested tent cities.

That’s the political irrationality of the Occupy Movement.  Newt Gingrich exposed the economic irrationality of Occupy:

“I have yet to hear a single reporter ask a single Occupy Wall Street person a single rational question about the economy that would lead them to say, for example, ‘Who is going to pay for the park you are occupying if there are no businesses making a profit?'”

It’s not just the moral idiocy and irrationality of the Penn State rioters versus the Occupy movement rioters that ties them together.  It’s also the common element of rapes taking place right under both groups’ noses and their reactions to said rapes:

What in the world is going on with the Occupy movement?

Not only are reports of rape becoming more and more common at Occupy protests across the country, but the movement’s reaction to sexual assault is becoming less and less serious. It is a troubling trend that has picked up in the last few days, as shown in interviews with the occupiers themselves, and through local media investigations.

Most recently, Lee Stranahan and Brandon Darbyinterviewed a woman on Wall Street who detailed the sexual assaults that have taken place there. She told them that “at least 10 incidences of, at least, groping” and “there was a guy that got raped.”

After claiming that the police are inconsistent on their response to these attacks, the occupier explains what the movement is doing to protect its members. The punishment for sexual assault at Occupy Wall Street? No more free blankets:

[See Human Events for video]

It is almost impossible to imagine a more offensive and less severe response to rape. However, it seems Occupy Baltimore has figured out an even worse reaction. There protesters refused to help a woman who was raped in their midst, then purposely disrupted a local media investigation into what happened. When confronted about the violence, one occupier says, “We have a security team that actively deals with these situations.”

[See Human Events for video]

The preference for handling grave crimes within their wacked-out dystopia is nothing new for Occupy Baltimore. In early October, a pamphlet was circulated that encouraged victims of sexual assault to “immediately report the incident to the security committee,” which would investigate and “supply the abuser with counseling resources.” Sadly this disgusting aversion to justice for rape victims extends to Occupy Toronto as well.

In a raw video taken by an occupier whose girlfriend was groped by a man who also tried to make other protesters drink urine, a troubling incident unfolds. As the man accused of sexual assault is taken in by police, several Occupy Toronto protesters can be seen trying to dispose of a knife that the accuser wanted to give to authorities as evidence. One of the protesters says of the knife: “I’m just going to throw it away.”

[See Human Events for video]

Anybody with a heart should be shocked and appalled by this kind of behavior. This is a pervasive problem emblematic of exactly why we don’t want liberal utopians pushing their real-life dystopias on us. No free blankets and counseling for rapists? That’s seriously scary.

The ultimate symbol of the Occupy “Movement” is this one:

That’s the quintessential gist of the “Movement”: making a “movement” on a police car as the vandals of society sack the empire of civilization for the final time before the Antichrist comes.

Want more proof?  Watch this Occupy Eureka “Movement” video: “Who pooped and peed on the bank?”

And is it seriously a shock to anybody that the video ends with an Occupy liberal assaulting a female journalist?  Thank God the media didn’t send a ten year old boy to report the story, infantile as the action that required the reporting was.

I ask liberals all the time, and I ask it again here: how do you liberals’ skulls not explode from trying to contain all the fundamental contradictions?  You demand government get out while you are simultaneously demanding more government.

It’s the kind of moral insanity that comes from being genuinely evil.  Because evil is ultimately stupid and irrational.

Liberalism means the freedom to spread typhus unmolested. Or apparently to sodomize little boys unmolested, given the way liberal judges deal with child molesters assuming that a liberal society even manages to turn them in.

But I digress.  Sorry.  I was talking about Penn State’s morally idiotic and irrational rioting and it reminded me of the Occupy movement’s morally idiotic and irrational rioting.

We’re starting to find out that hundreds of people knew about Jerry Sandusky’s “problem” and nobody ever did anything about it.  The man was allowed to retire and was even HONORED for his “work.”

And the worthless punk named Mike McQuery – who was actually going to continue coaching until death threats made that scenario untenable – is actually still on the payroll of Penn State.

I look around at what my once great and mighty nation has become and I just want to vomit.

Maybe I’ll head over to the Occupy protest in my neighborhood and do it there where no one will notice the smell.
