‘I Can’t Take My Midterms, I Wanna Go Cry And Whine And Riot.’ The Dark Side Of The BUTTHURT Is Strong In These Liberal Padawan

It is Veterans Day, and decent Americans are honoring veterans who have protected their freedom.

But the problem is, too many liberals are NOT decent Americans and frankly aren’t even Americans at all.  So they are out rioting and burning the flag because they have no regard for democracy whatsoever and if these fascists don’t get their way, they riot.

We can put our reality into Star Wars-terms now: it’s the light side of the force against the dark side; the dark side being characterized by anger and hate and rage.  “The dark side of the force is strong in them.”  Only in this case the “force” is the toxic power of BUTTHURT.

We are vividly seeing which side is characterized by the dark side of the force today.

Take a look at two pictures which vividly display the pathologically hypocritical mutual self-contradiction that is liberalism:

The people who say, “We’re the loving, tolerant folks” are in actual point-of-fact the HATEFUL, INTOLERANT folks.  And we’ve seen this all along: from the first moments where Democrat mobs began physically attacking Trump supporters to the discovery that a man who worked for Hillary’s campaign and who had visited the Obama White House nearly 400 times was orchestrating violence as a political tactic, to the despicable vicious political-racist attack by two black men against a white Trump voter while a mocking crowd yelled “You voted for Trump?  You gonna pay for that sh*t!” to now as we watch butthut liberals embrace the violence that they’ve actually been embracing ALL ALONG.

There is no question whatsoever which side is ACTUALLY the dark side, the side of hate and anger and rabid racist anti-democratic values.

Hey, I remember the feeling: back when Obama was elected in 2008 – and Obama was EVERY FREAKING BIT as absolutely unacceptable to me and to those who believed like me as Trump is to Democrats now – how I and my fellow Republicans started violent riots across America and…

Oh, wait.  NO WE DIDN’T.

Because unlike liberals, we are not pathologically rabid, vile, butthurt fascists.

But not so the left.

Portland, Oregon is only one of the many cities across America in flames as thousands of Democrats burn and destroy in “protest” of the United States and its Constitution and its free elections.  Los Angeles, Oakland, New York, it’s all over the place this fascist disease otherwise known as liberal progressivism.  How in the world will they get their “boot stamping on a human face, forever” future if people won’t VOTE for it? they whine.  And so they riot.

So we’ve got liberal puke professors excusing liberal puke college students from taking the midterms because they’re too whiny after Trump popped the bubble of their shallow world.

Cornell University staged a “cry-in” for their students because being a liberal means being a mentally-fragile, unhinged, pathetic little puke.

Other universities brought in therapy dogs because Democrat students are broken by reality.

Do you realize how pathetic these people are?

Oh, and they call for people to DIE.  A Hillary supporter told CNN this as she joined her fellow rioters against our entire democratic system:

“There will be casualties on both sides. There will be, because people have to die to make a change in this world.”

Just take a moment and imagine if Hillary Clinton had been elected and you had statements galore coming out from Trump supporters like that.  We would have been depicted by the mainstream media as people who needed to be mowed down with tanks by the thousands and crushed and killed.  But how is the media framing this?  You can’t say it’s ALL Democrats!  And how DARE you try to lay the blame on Hillary or Obama and liberals the way we would have surely lain the blame on Trump and conservatives.

And the hypocrite formulation for “racism” is beyond amazing.

These horrible, awful Democrats who regularly and ROUTINELY encourage blacks and Hispanics to vote as a race from a racial perspective on behalf of their race are so hypocrite BUTTHURT that white people would do the SAME DAMN THING they’ve done for thirty years that it’s unreal.

It’s wonderful that black people vote like black people and Hispanic people vote like Hispanic people because they vote for the part that worships the State.  But for white people to vote like white people?  That is as close to absolute EVIL as you can get!  Because to be a liberal is to be THE worst species of hypocrite who ever existed.

Even Michael Moore understands this where – just like Chris Matthews in a MSNBC panel I reported election night – Michael Moore was actually the sole voice of reason on an insane network:

Filmmaker Michael Moore pushed back today against the notion that Americans who voted for Donald Trump did so based on racism.

Moore, who warned fellow liberals that Trump was going to win the election, said Trump voters were motivated by economic pain and lost jobs more than anything else.

“You have to accept that millions of people who voted for Barack Obama – some of them once, some of them twice – changed their minds this time. They’re not racists. They twice voted for a man whose middle name is Hussein. That’s the America we live in,” said Moore, explaining that younger white voters turned out in record numbers for Barack Obama.

“But if you put people through another eight years [where] there’s no middle-class jobs, they’re struggling to get by, the basic things like the price of a box of cereal doubles … these are the things that are important to people because they’re living from paycheck to paycheck,” he said on MSNBC this morning.

These liberal college pukes in particular get in other people’s faces and decry their “white privilege.”  To the extent that the polls weren’t so damn wrong because liberals administered the polls and liberals are pathologically dishonest vermin, the polls were wrong because these little Nazis had so intimidated voters that they were afraid to say who they were going to vote for.  And the amazing thing about it is NOBODY IS MORE PRIVILEGED ON EARTH THAN THESE PAMPERED LITTLE BUTTHURT FASCIST COLLEGE PUKES.

As the cry-ins and the therapy dogs and the cancelled- and take-home midterms over Trump’s win proves.

We’ve got massive riots where people are literally protesting because they can’t understand why anyone other than them should get to vote for who leads this country.  They are burning cars because the American people elected Donald Trump.  They are smashing the windows of small businesses because the American people elected Donald Trump.  They are throwing bricks at police because the American people elected Donald Trump.  They are burning the American flag because the American people elected Donald Trump.

They want our system destroyed.  They want our Constitution destroyed.  They want our way of life destroyed.

And they don’t give a flying DAMN about democracy or the will of the people.

These are Democrats.  Which is another way of saying that these are the very lowest form of slime this country has.

I pointed out before the election that there are only one group that is employing violence as a political tactic.  And guess what?  It’s the same damn Democrats who are employing violence as a political tactic now.

Just imagine the damn headlines if Hillary had won and there was ONE protest by Trump supporters that turned even a LITTLE violent!!!  The papers would have breathlessly characterized it as a white, racist, misogynist KKK Nazi movement.  Remember the Tea Party that got viciously slandered and demonized by the media that never was responsible for one single act of violence but it didn’t even MATTER to the “journalists” making up lies?  And so of course it’s the same Democrat media covering the violence of their fellow fascist Democrats, so nothing to see here, folks!

 

Progressive Liberalism Is Responsible For The Spread Of Islamic State Among U.S. Youth

Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ – Colossians 2:8

I vividly recall a former professor of mine who described the personal impact of his visit to Auschwitz.  The thing that hit him hardest, he said, was when he looked into the rooms where the Nazis had collected all the possessions of the death camp victims: a giant room filled with suitcases here, another room filled with human hair there.  And the thing that hit him at that moment was that ideas have consequences, and that the virus that created Auschwitz and all the camps like it had emerged decades before they were constructed.  It was ideas like atheism, Darwinism, Nietzscheism, existentialism and deconstructionism that became the intellectual foundation upon which those camps were built.  The virus began in the halls of academia – just as our most cancerous and most toxic ideas spread here and now – and spread throughout a German culture which had abandoned belief in God beyond any culture around it.  Because of the work of German liberal theologians such as Julius Wellhausen, Franz Delitzsch, Gerhard Kittel, Paul Althous, Emanual Hirsch, among others, the reliability and integrity of the Bible was stunningly undermined to the degree that the Bible was nothing more than a collection of myths and fables.  Oh, there were true Christian intellectuals such as the great Dietrich Bonhoeffer – who himself would perish in the camps – but these were too few and far between to counter the toxic avalanche of secular humanism all around them.  And as the impact of the vile philosophy and theology of Nazism began to spread, there was simply nothing substantial to counter it.

THAT is precisely where our culture is today and it is coming from the same theological and philosophical traditions.

Martin Heidegger was and actually remains a darling among liberal academia.  It is only a slightly embarrassing fact that the man’s existentialist philosophy enabled him and even drove him to be one of the most ardent Nazis in Germany – such that he first became a member of THE most radical Nazi faction and ultimately lost his rectorate at Frieburg after his political patrons were purged for being TOO extreme before Hitler was ready to take the next step.  Heidegger formally abandoned his Catholicism – which conflicted with both his philosophy and his Nazi politics.  His existentialism drove him to determine to break with “Hebraism” as well as all “metaphysics,” “But to achieve such a rupture, Christian and humanist values would have to be discarded too” [from The German Churches Under Hitler: Background, Struggle, and Epilogue by Ernst Christian Helmreich, 1979, p. 215].

Christian humanism and secular humanism went to war – and secular humanism won in pre-World War II Germany.  And then proceeded to murder all its Christian rivals.

Martin Heidegger was a profound influence upon many of THE most prominent atheists over at least the next thirty years.

Another example of this very same phenomenon is seen in the deconstructionist philosopher Paul De Man.  His work in deconstructionism was adored by the political left and the man was a devout Nazi

And then you’ve got Ezra Pound, the famous literary theorist – and Nazi – who denounced Christianity as something “riddled with semitism” as Hitler himself directly quoted in his Mein Kampf.

These men, along with Hitler, had the project of first tearing Christianity down and ultimately tearing it out by its roots and burning it.  They construed a conflict between “nature” and “anti-nature” (which is one of the reasons why Nazism – and its adherents such as Heidegger – was an environmentalist movement.  On their narrative, Judaism and Christianity were both “anti-nature” because of their focus on a transcendent God and transcendent moral values that restricted the freedom of man and nature.  Whereas nature is immanent.  The Nazi project was to forge a counter-spirituality that would enable the people to find fulfillment even as the Nazis were freed to exercise their power of will.  The Nazis attacked Christianity from hypocritical premises: on the one hand, they assailed Judeo-Christianity for its intolerance and its fostering of guilt even as they, on the other hand, attacked it for its altruism, for its protecting the weak against the strong, for its clear political implications resulting in liberty and equality.  Ezra Pound argued that there was “no sense of social order in the teachings if the irresponsible protagonist of the New Testament” (quoted in The Geneology of Demons, Anti-Semitism, Fascism, and the Myths of Ezra Pound by Robert Castillo, 1988, p. 95].  The Nazis blamed the Protestant Reformation for the revival of Hebrew texts (the Bible) and ways of thinking, and thus for the decline of Europe.  Even though the so-called “Enlightenment” began AFTER and BECAUSE OF the Protestant Reformation.

When the epidemic virus of Nazism became a full-fledged pandemic in German culture, it was because Judeo-Christianity had been weakened, if not eradicated, and because there was no competing intellectual, philosophical, religious, theological alternative to prevent, stop, or even slow down its rise.

And the same thing not only IS happening but already HAS happened in the United States.  And we are seeing the consequences all around us as the National Socialist German Workers Party is reborn as the National Socialist American Workers Party driven by the identical philosophical and religious notions.

The same philosophical traditions – if not the same actual philosophers themselves – that enabled the rise of Nazism continue to dominate the leftist intellectual tradition today: postmodernism, existentialism, deconstructionism, logical positivism, religious liberalism.

It’s all too easy to document the American progressive liberal disdain for Judeo-Christianity and for the integrity and reliability of the Bible which informs it and is its source and foundation:

Obama mockingly asks, “Whose Christianity would we teach in the schools?”  Because Christianity is nothing more than a man-made religion and it is completely relative and totally bound by culture and subject to constant change for the simple reason that there is and can be no eternal, everlasting God to make it permanent.  And Obama mocks, “Which passages of Scripture should guide our public policy?”  Because the Word of God is nothing more than the word of man and bigoted, intolerant, racist man at that.  And it is immoral to allow Judeo-Christianity or the Bible to have ANY role in our culture as a result.

And we all shouted, “Sieg Heil!  Sieg Heil!  Sieg Heil!  Heil Obama!  Heil Obama!  Heil Obama!”  Because there is nothing left BUT Obama to hold this culture or this nation together.  Or to put it another way: if this nation has a God or a moral code that Obama has NOT mocked and undermined and ignored, I’d like to know who He or she or it is.  (In this age where the left has embraced the transgender man-woman shemale, I suppose you have to consider all the myriad possibilities).

So we’re seeing the same deterioration of “God” in the American political socialist left that we observed in the German political socialist left as it rose to power.  Just like Obama, Hitler began talking about his “Christianity,” but it sure didn’t take long before – the same way Obama promised that “as a Christian” he was opposed to same-sex marriage to imposing the very thing he said that “as a Christian” he was opposed to.  Hitler told his inner circle that he was a devout atheist who had abandoned any notions of a God other than himself.  What he said in his speeches wasn’t any more true than what Obama said in his speeches.  And Christianity has been annihilated in America much the way it was in Germany leading up to the Nazis who took the next logical step with the worldview of Darwinism.

I also find it striking how liberal Democrats are exploiting race versus how the Nazis exploited race.  Both rose to power by making race and racism an issue and encouraging people of race to politically rise against another race due to perceived injustices.  The Nazis screamed, “The Jews have usurped power and they’re oppressing you!”  The liberal Democrats scream, “The whites (particularly white men) have usurped power and they’re oppressing you!”

Now we’re seeing the assured results of leftist-progressive Democrat Party rule as criminality and violence skyrocket wherever liberalism touches.  Liberals are demagoguing race to turn our justice system against our system of justice – and justice is being raped and tortured and murdered as a result.

I mean, “why is white America so reluctant to identify white college males as a problem population?”  I mean, after all, Hitler showed us how to do it with the Jews.

The Jesus whom the Nazis and whom Obama mocked told us, “In the last days, race will rise against race.”  but what did that white-male-embraced Jew know, anyway?

Crucify Him!  At least that’s what the Nazis did.  That’s what Islamic State is doing now.  And as for liberal Democrats, they not only are fine with crucifying Jesus, they’ll stick Him in a jar of urine while they do it.

Progressive liberals demanded that – back when America was STILL overwhelmingly Christian and believed in God – that in the cause of “free speech” we allow such vileness.

Now the same liberals who demanded the right to immerse Christ in piss demand that now that they’ve got the upper hand free speech should be abolished.  It’s who they are.  Again, because they’re just like the Nazis.  Who are just like Islamic State.

The Christianity of our founding fathers – and our very founding fathers themselves – – have been torn down in scorn.  And so the Constitution based on that Christian worldview is the next casualty.

To me it is absolutely no surprise whatsoever that our first president to classify America as “a Muslim nation” prophetically declared the complete separation between America and its founding fathers and their Constitution a matter of FIVE DAYS before the very Islam that he would embrace and elevate to a status directly alongside Christianity would attack us.

The rise of Islamic State and the rise of Obama are hand-in-hand.  The former could never have arisen without the latter.

The men who wrote our Constitution declared in their basis for it – the Declaration of Independence – that our rights come from God, not from any government.  But that didn’t work for liberal Democrats who wanted sodomy-perversion marriage and sixty million murdered babies.  So they agreed with the Nazis that there is “no sense of social order in the teachings if the irresponsible protagonist of the New Testament” and threw Christianity out.  So that “social order” could be whatever THEY declared it to by exercising the same power of the human will that Hitler exalted.

Precisely what is it that our liberal-Democrat-hijacked public schools are teaching our children about our God or our culture that will provide a powerful force for them to fight for what is right and fight against what is wrong?  Or to put it in Obama’s mocking terms, “Whose morality would we teach in the schools?”  Do we teach the morality of an everlasting God or do we teach the constantly adapting Darwinian bug morality of Obama?

We are watching the world unravel from without even as we are watching our very cities unravel from within.  Because this is a nation that stands for NOTHING that is transcendent just as Nazi Germany stood for nothing that was transcendent before us.  And we rabidly reject the very NOTION of transcendence because it interferes with our adoration of homosexual sodomy erected upon our altar of sixty million murdered babies.

Kids in liberal Democrat public indoctrination centers aren’t being taught to revere our foundations – they have been taught to mock and despise them.

So why not embrace the values of Islamic State?

Violence is encouraged by liberal Democrats.  First the rioters were given literal permission to riot.  The police were ordered to stand down and allow them to riot.  Then it became racist to criticize the rioters.

Hey, if you like violence you’ll LOVE Islamic State.  Why not join up and spread the love?  You can burn and loot and murder to your heart’s content.

In the rise of Islamic State, we are watching what the liberal-Democrats of Hollywood created: a culture of violence that stands for NOTHING BUT DEATH act out its “values.”

I keep seeing snippets of the numerous videos that Islamic State recruiters are spreading all over the internet.  And you know what I keep seeing?  I keep seeing a video game.  The Islamic State videos look just like what I see when I see the snippets of the video games that liberal Democrats of Hollywood and Silicone Valley pumped into our kids’ brains.

Hey, kids!  You can live our your video game fantasies!  Join Islamic State and you can actually BE in the video game world!

And why not?  Why shouldn’t you?  I mean, murder isn’t really all that “wrong” given that we’ve murdered sixty million babies and that’s “right,” right?  And the same intolerant Christian God who says murder is wrong also says homosexuality is wrong and we ALL know that’s right, right?  And I mean, seriously, whose version of Christianity are we going to teach?  Whose passages of Scripture should guide our public policy?

Come on, why not try the Qur’an instead, kids?  I mean, after all, this IS a Muslim nation, you know.

I’ve been talking about how the liberal-progressive Democrat WORLDVIEW has actually directly participated in the rise of terrorism.  But let’s not forget Obama’s miserable national security and foreign policy performance that have allowed Islamic State to rise from a virtually unheard of tiny offshoot group based in Syria when Bush was president to owning the largest terrorist caliphate in the history of the world because of Obama.  I’ll quote one of my own titles that I back up with facts ad nauseam: No One On EARTH More Responsible For Rise In Islamic Terrorism Than Our Own Terrorist-in-Chief, Barack Hussein Obama.  And it is an easy-to-document FACT that Barack Obama DIRECTLY enabled Islamic State to spread by refusing to deal with Syria after cowardly retreating from his own “red line” AFTER cutting-and-running from Iraq in abandonment of EVERYTHIG his own generals WARNED WOULD HAPPEN if Obama did what Obama in fact did.

You need to go back and remember history – something IMPOSSIBLE for a liberal to do – to see how Obama and his mouthpieces claimed credit for the Arab Spring (and see here and here for more proof of that) that the terrorists used to massively advance their own cause.  It is also a matter of history that the Arab Spring that Obama claimed so much credit for actually WERE the result of Obama in the form of FOOD RIOTS he created throughout the Middle East due to the fact that all the Arab states that sell oil have to be tied to the U.S. dollar – with Obama’s massive debt massively devaluing the values of Arab currencies leading to rioting.

It doesn’t matter HOW you slice it: it comes up Obama and the vicious failure of liberal progressive Democrat Party ideology.

What I’m saying here is that the fact that for all practical purposes, Barack Obama and the Democrat Party have completely surrendered to radical Islam – whether you talk about Obama allowing and even outright encouraging Islamic State to spread by a) doing NOTHING in the Syria that now thanks to Obama controls more than half of that country and b) Obama’s completely cutting-and-running from Iraq in abandonment of EVERYTHING our generals demanded we do to preserve the security of that country; or whether you talk about Obama allowing and even outright encouraging Iran to develop a nuclear bomb and the ballistic missile system to deliver it and therefore encourage nuclear proliferation in the remaining Muslim countries as they talk about their bomb – the real crisis was already present and already metastasizing in our culture.

Islamic State is rising.  And neither so-called “moderate Islam” itself or the defiled formerly “One Nation Under God” America that is now “God Damn America” have anything to fight it with.

Which is why the once greatest nation in the history of the world – a nation that uniquely called upon the God of the Bible – will go down so hard, so violently, in such an ugly, awful manner.

It’s funny.  Progressive liberals claim to be anti-rape, but as a direct result of their moral system, we have seen rapes and sexual assaults SKYROCKET.  And I’m sure it’s a complete surprise to you, unless you first consider that it’s kind of obvious that the inevitable result of teaching children that they are NOT created in the image of God, that they WILL act like the animals their teachers claim they are.  I mean, Muslims love to slander Jews by labeling them “the descendants of apes and pigs.”   But according to evolutionary theory we are that and worse: the descendants of flies and roaches.  And surprise, surprise that our kids would start acting like what liberal progressives have said they are all along.

In the same manner, it’s the same way with the economy: should we really be surprised when the liberal progressive Democrats’ embrace of an economic system based entirely on atheistic godlessness (where omnipotent Government takes the place of God), class-warfare-incited envy and bitterness would necessarily fail every single time it is tried no matter how many times it has failed before?  And yet here we are, with Obama’s miraculous “wreckovery” sinking America year-by-year under Obama into the WORST labor participation rates – measuring the percentage of working-age Americans who actually have a job – we have seen in forty years.  Right now the labor participation rate – six years into Obama’s so-called “recovery” – has more than 93 million Americans without a job and little hope of ever finding one in a rate that is the worst we’ve seen since Jimmy Carter’s socialism was destroying America in 1977.  I wrote about the metastatic spread of the Obama economic cancer in a nice little summary in a different article I wrote in 2013:

Again, I talked about that when I pleaded with the American people to NOT choose stupidity and suicide in the 2012 election:

In 2010 – and this was AFTER we supposedly were out of the recession in Obama’s “wreckovery” –  the labor participation rate was 64.5%, which was at a 25-year low (i.e., lower than it had EVER been under Bush).

In 2011, the labor participation rate dropped to 63.9%, the lowest level in 27 years.

Last year in 2012 under Obama’s failed policies it fell to the lowest level in 30 years.

And here we are today.  You’ve got to go back to the dismal failure of the Carter era in the late 1970s to get such an awful participation rate.  It’s now the worst its been in 34 years.

Now it stands as the worst America has seen in 38 years.  But who does Obama demonize for his fail?  Bush.

It is a fact that “If the workforce participation rate today were as high as it was on the day Barack Obama was inaugurated, the unemployment rate in this country would be 9.7 percent.”  His current unemployment rate is based entirely on statistical shenanigans and outright lies.  Under Barack Obama’s economic miracle “The yearly income of a typical US household dropped by a massive 12 percent, or $6,400.”  Obama has literally robbed us blind while telling us he’s making us rich – and pure fools believe his lies.  Meanwhile, in spite of the fact that Obama has demagogued class-warfare more than any president in history, his actual record has produced the widest gap between the rich and the poor in his economy EVER MEASURED.  Meanwhile, Obama’s destruction of our health care system is closing down hospitals, driving doctors out of medicine and leaving the poor with “insurance” that leaves them unable to get healthcare outside of clogging up our emergency rooms.  The scourge of chronic homelessness is a giant plague beyond anything we’ve seen in the most liberal-Obama-friendly cities.  Homeless camps are sprawling across the city of the Angles.   In fact, “the number of tents, makeshift encampments and vehicles occupied by homeless people soared 85%, to 9,535, according to biennial figures from the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority.”  Cities are going BANKRUPT with debt in numbers not seen since the Great Depression under Obama.    I wrote about that massive problem in 2012.  It was still a massive problem in 2013.  It’s still a massive problem now as Chicago goes bankrupt under one of Obama’s chief acolytes due of course to Obama-style debt and insane socialist spending policies.  Cities like Detroit look like World War II bombed out war zones.  Race riots dominate the Obama presidency as the vile, toxic bitterness of the left metastasizes in violence.  I wrote about the liberal stupidity of liberal Baltimore  and how liberals have proved last-days prophecy is coming upon us – and look at the impact of their foolish, wicked “management” of the crisis they created.  Obama depicting himself or his policies as being the savior to the poor is rather akin to Adolf Hitler depicting himself and his Third Reich as the savior for Jews.  And I state that as a categorical FACT that I just documented at length above if you look at the FACTS.

To the extent that the economy or jobs has anything to do with the rise of terrorism and the Islamic State, as liberal progressives keep telling us, again, look no farther than at THEM for producing the miserable economy and the awful jobs performance.

The beast is coming.  And he is coming because liberal progressives have “fundamentally transformed” America into a nation that WILL NOT reflect the image of a good God, but will rather exalt their will over Him.  Which is a prescription for judgment and doom.

 

If Conservatives Were Like Liberals, They Would Riot, Burn And Loot In Every City Until The IRS Thug-in-Chief Nixon-Waved And Resigned

I was watching the news as I rode my exercise bike/hamster wheel and heard a “journalist” on CNN lecture the space-time universe that in spite of the fact that blacks were violently rioting, looting, burning, throwing Molotov cocktails, etc., etc., etc., there was no “racial pathology” involved and to think otherwise was itself “racist.”  After all, there have been other riots.  And he proceeded to cite riots that were caused … by liberals in every single case.  I mean, we’ve got our violent World Trade Organization protestors (liberals); we’ve got our violent Occupy Movement protestors (liberals); we’ve got our violent union thug protestors (liberals); we’ve got our violent May Day protestors (liberals).  And of course we can go back to the violent gay riots in Stonewall or violent black riots in Watts.  Liberals, all.  Always liberals.

Watts – excuse me, I meant what – we DON’T have is conservatives rioting in Republican cities.  Never, ever, ever.  Nope.

It’s liberals who riot, because it is liberals who are pathologically – to cite that CNN commentator’s term – vicious, violent fascist goon-thugs.

I watched a brilliant Wall Street Journal editorialist take apart Obama’s “neutral” stance on Ferguson (as in no “If I had a son, he’d be just like that strong arm robbery thug, Michael Brown”) by pointing out that in addition to Obama being wrong about his application of moral equivalence, he was even MORE wrong about his diagnosis of the problem being discrimination and poverty in black communities.  The Wall Street Journal editorialist pointed out the inconvenient truth for the left that the black crime rate was far, FAR lower in 1960 before the Great Society, the New Deal or the Civil Rights era.

Who is lying?  Is Obama lying now when he claims that the skyrocketing black crime rate is due to discrimination and poverty, or is it that Democrats have been demonically lying for going on fifty years as they claimed they were making things better for blacks when in reality they were creating even MORE discrimination and poverty for blacks and other minorities???

So either in fact black rioting and violence DOES have a “racial pathology,” or its not the color of their skin that is at issue, but rather the color of their communist red liberal ideology that is pathologically violent.

I actually agree with that CNN commentator: it’s not because they’re black that they’re vicious and evil; it’s because they’re liberals that they’re vicious and evil.  All liberals are fascists who want to impose their fascist totalitarian government on people who don’t want it.  That’s the problem.

So, here’s the deal.  They say they want “justice” in Ferguson, Missouri, do they?  Well, damn, so do I.  I want JUSTICE in Obama’s use of the IRS as his own personal “Internal Revenge Service” against conservatives.

Somebody might say, “Well, you don’t have proof that Obama did anything wrong.”  Well, other than the fact that we’ve got 500 times more proof than the protestors in Ferguson have.  After all, we’ve got 500 conservative organizations that were singled out versus one black punk who was shot.  And we’ve got every bit as much if not MORE proof that Obama was the one who wanted “anti-Obama rhetoric” officially attacked by the IRS than they’ve got proof that that cop did anything criminal.

I want JUSTICE.  I want a damn special prosecutor.  No way Obama’s lawthug Eric Holder “investigates” this fairly, given what we’ve already seen as most of the organizations that were victimized and had their civil rights flagrantly violated by Obama’s criminal IRS were even INTERVIEWED.

Michael Brown’s family defines “justice” as the police officer arrested, prosecuted and convicted.  Okay.  That’s what justice looks like: Barack Obama arrested, convicted and prosecuted.  Nothing short of that is anything close to “justice.”

If conservatives were like liberals, we’d have been violently rioting and burning and looting in every damn city in America until Obama did his Nixon wave and resigned from office like the disgrace he is.  And they would keep tearing America apart and burning the rest until Obama was behind bars.

But the fact remains that we’re not like liberals.  We’re not fascist.  We want justice but we rely on our words and our reason.  Which of course the brainwashed left – hat tip to truthunites – is pathologically incapable of responding to.

All we have is violence and thuggery against the Thug-in-Chief and his criminal co-conspirator Eric Holder.

Here’s another great recent example: Governor Rick Perry got criminally indicted by THE most liberal county in Texas and one of the most flagrantly liberal counties in America.  Why did they do it?  Because they could.  They already illegitimately nailed one Republican – Tom DeLay – and destroyed his career without anything more than rabid liberal hate.

But do Republicans have the right to do the same thing?  Nope.  If they impeach Obama – even thought they have EXCELLENT constitutional grounds to impeach that fascist – there will be hell to pay.  Which is why Republicans wouldn’t DARE do what Democrats are doing as we damn well speak.  So we sit back aghast and appalled as Democrats seek to take down by nothing more than their rabidness one of our front runners for president in 2016.

I’ve made this point before: we aren’t like the left, which is why we’re losing.  The left employs violence and cheating and every nasty, vile tactic there is to ensure that they win and we lose so they get to pick the winners and losers.  If conservatives lose elections, we get regulated and taxed and criminally prosecuted by liberal union thugs using the power of government as a punitive instrument; if liberals lose elections, they get left alone by a smaller, more limited government.  So the way things are framed, either they win or we lose.  Meanwhile, the right is sadly not all that “right” anymore.  It’s like what was said of the so-called Moral Majority movement in the 1980s: we are neither moral, nor a majority.  If we were truly powerfully righteous, it would be one thing.  But we are sadly much more like the Laodicean Church from Revelation chapter 3 than we are like anything else.  So instead of being inflamed for righteousness – as we should be – or inflamed for wickedness – as the left is and has been – we could fight.  But as it is, all we do is hunker down while the left keeps agitating toward the day when they get their beloved Anitchrist to take total government power as they have been dreaming of for sixty years now.

So if you’re a conservative, I know where I WON’T be seeing you.  At the next riot.

As I close, I can’t not cite the following fact: Russia, China and Iran are pointing fingers at America and lecturing us for our criminality and our human rights violations.  And you know who agrees completely with our worst enemies?  Liberals, that’s who.

We keep hearing from the news media that is terrified of being labeled as “racist” that it’s only a “few” bad people “from out of town” who are coming in.  Don’t blame the residents of Ferguson.  Don’t blame black people for what we CLEARLY see BLACK PEOPLE doing.  That’s bullcrap.  Let me tell you something that is simply a fact: if there weren’t those thousands of people out there night after night, the so-called “few outsiders” wouldn’t be there burning and looting.  If those mobs of people weren’t out there at night, the police would easily be able to get control of the situation and crack down on the so-called “few” who are doing all the rioting.  Which is why every single person who is out there is participating in the violence and rioting and looting.  Because it’s only happening because YOU’RE there to give the rioters and looters the distraction and the cover that they need.

Update: we are now getting in the actual facts of what happened to Officer Darren Wilson before the fatal shooting.  In short, Michael Brown assaulted him, punched him hard in the face, and there was a struggle for the officer’s gun.  Officer Wilson fired at Brown and Brown began to run away, but then bum-rushed the officer who – already dazed and beaten from the beating he had just endured – fired and kept firing until Brown was down.

Now, if conservatives were like liberals, we wouldn’t CARE about any evidence that proved Barack Obama wasn’t guilty in the criminal conspiracy to use the IRS to target hundreds of conservatives and violate our civil rights.  Nope.  We would be driven – like the left in Ferguson – entirely by our hatred, our bitterness and our viciousness.  And we would continue to demand “justice,” which means we would continue to demand Obama’s head.  Whether he was actually guilty or not.

Okay, we’ve got a beef, folks.  So let’s riot and burn down the community and throw Molotov cocktails and get violent and nasty and rabid.

I remember the frenzied furor that the mainstream media erupted into when that rancher in Texas had Obama and his lawthug Eric Holder in his face and tea partiers started showing up with their rifles to make sure the government acted right.  You know, after Obama’s BLM thugs did crap like THIS.

Who actually fired the gunshots?  None were fired during the Bundy standoff.  But plenty were fired BY LIBERALS in Ferguson.

Nobody was shot.  Oh, except for the cattle who were callously and thuggishly massacred by Obama’s BLM goons.  As best I can remember there were no riots.  There was no looting.  I don’t think the tea partiers threw so much as ONE Molotov cocktail.  No towns burned down.

But the way the fascist propaganda mill covered it, you’d have thought the tea partiers had brought thousands of babies to have mass human sacrifices to their Nazi gods or something.

Of course, the same truth-despising fascist media propaganda tactic was employed against the Tea Party when they were peacefully protesting and the blanket of silence surrounding the vicious, rabidly fascist leftist Occupy Movement defied belief.

Remember how the Tea Party was described as being so WHITE and by implication so RACIST by the leftist media propaganda?  It of course subsequently didn’t matter whatsoever that the beloved Occupy Movement was EVERY BIT as white if not MORE so.

7,775 documented arrests of liberals.  Versus ZERO of conservatives.  But the way the most dishonest propaganda machine since Joseph Goebbels and his Nazi Ministry of Propaganda depicted it, it was the conservatives with their zero arrests who were the side of naked evil.

What is interesting is when you actually consider our murders and our mass shootings, and you consider that the black people and young people who are the backbone of the Democrat Party vote machine are responsible for virtually all the damn crimes and murders in America, this is nothing new.  Which is why liberals refuse to consider the actual facts.

We’ve seen non-stop race-rioting, burning and looting for DAYS in Ferguson, Missouri, and of course its the good guys’ fault because how DARE they try to maintain law and order when secular humanist statist fascists want to riot and burn and loot in the name of “justice”???

But now the details are starting to come out.

We learn that the poor, helpless little boy who was gunned down when he hadn’t even done anything wrong.  And he was even shot in the back, we were told on MSNBC.  Now we know a little bit more about him, too:

A suburban St. Louis police chief on Friday identified the officer whose fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager ignited days of heated protests, and released documents alleging the teen was killed after a robbery in which he was suspected of stealing a $48.99 box of cigars.

Ferguson, Mo., Police Chief Thomas Jackson said that the robbery took place just before noon on Saturday at a nearby convenience store roughly 10 minutes before a police officer identified as Darren Wilson fired the bullet that killed Michael Brown. Police say that the shot was fired after a struggle touched off by Wilson’s confronting Brown. Jackson said Wilson is a six-year veteran with no disciplinary action on his record.

The news conference came after nearly a week of sometimes-violent protests and calls by many, including President Obama, for local law enforcement to be more transparent about the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Police previously said they withheld Wilson’s identity because of the potential for threats on the officer and his family. The officer has been on administrative leave since the shooting.

Police released still images and were planning to release video from the robbery, at a QuikTrip store in Ferguson. Jackson said Wilson, along with other officers, were called to the area after a 911 call reporting a “strong-arm robbery” at a nearby convenience store. He didn’t immediately release details about the alleged robbery, saying more information would be released later.

Jackson provided few other details about Wilson at the news conference and did not take any questions. Jackson said Swisher Sweets cigars were stolen in the robbery. He was suspected of stealing the box of cigars. The documents released by authorities include surveillance images from the store.

According to the police reports, Brown and his friend, Dorian Johnson, were suspected of taking a box of cigars from a store in Ferguson that morning.

“I am incensed,” Laura Keys, 50, told The St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “I can’t believe this is the tactic they are using, bringing up a robbery to make the victim look like he was the person who created this whole mess.”

Police have said Brown was shot after an officer encountered him and another man on the street. They say one of the men pushed the officer into his squad car, then physically assaulted him in the vehicle and struggled with the officer over the officer’s weapon. At least one shot was fired inside the car before the struggle spilled onto the street, where Brown was shot multiple times, according to police.

But a much different story has been told by Dorian Johnson, who says he was walking down the street with Brown when he was shot. He has said the officer ordered them out of the street, then grabbed his friend’s neck and tried to pull him into the car before brandishing his weapon and firing. He says Brown started to run and the officer pursued him, firing multiple times.

We know that Michael Brown – this poor, helpless little teenage victim – was in reality a 6’4″ 290 lb brutal THUG who strong armed robbed a store after physically assaulting the owner.

So we had the liberal Democrat account of a brutal police officer just randomly harassing and then murdering a poor innocent black kid just for being black.  And then we have the actual fact that the cop who came upon these two thugs was responding to a suspect who had just committed a STRONG ARM ROBBERY that had just taken place.  And then these two hoodlum gangsta thugs attacked him.

At this point details get murky.  This above news report was based on the police chief’s earlier report that the officer in the shooting was responding to the strong arm robbery.  The chief has since clarified that Officer Wilson was not aware of the robbery and actually was stopping them for walking in the middle of the road when the attack on the officer and the subsequent shooting by the officer occurred.

This latter actually makes more sense; because if the officer was responding to a strong arm robbery suspect, he would have immediately held Brown at gunpoint as opposed to allowing him to get close enough to attack him.  The cop was unaware of the fact that Brown had just committed a strong arm robbery, but Brown certainly wasn’t unaware.  Which is why he attacked the officer the first chance he had.

If there’s any question as to whether Brown is a thug, why don’t we ask that owner how helpless this poor little 6’4″ 290 pound black boy was???

And we know that the police officer who confronted and shot Brown was physically injured in the death struggle that Brown initiated as the officer found himself shoved backward into his own squad car and struggling for possession of his weapon.

But here’s the thing: Democrats are THUGS who LOVE THUGS.  So whose side do they take?  Well, after demonizing as some kind of racist cop a guy who turns out to be an impeccable police officer, and after lionizing the poor little boy who turns out to be a violent thug, liberals being liberals and therefore THUGS believe Michael Brown’s thug buddy.

And that is because liberals are EVIL people who routinely side with evil thugs time after time.

This is getting tiring.

This is now the third time Turd Obama has jumped in to side with evil in race-baiting incidents.

I think of Obama stupidly getting on national television – after admitting he was personally ignorant – and accusing the police that responded to the call in Massachusetts that “the police acted stupidly.”

But no, no, no.  Liberals are vicious, bitter, rabid little fascists.  They cannot help themselves.  And the demons are quick to erupt out of these wicked people.  So Professor Henry Louis Gates went – and the only appropriately descriptive term is “apeshit” –  on the poor officer who had no choice but to arrest the man.

Then we had the Trayvon Martin shooting.  And Obama AGAIN dived into it and sicked his lawthug Eric Holder on George Zimmerman.  Because when a black thug is on top of you beating you, how dare you think you have the right to defend yourself???

A trial that never should have GONE to trial completely exonerated George Zimmerman of having done anything wrong that night.  And Eric Holder – who was determined to punish Zimmerman – by the way, a HISPANIC – in whatever kangaroo court he could create, was humiliated again when we subsequently learned there were no civil rights violations, either.  But that of course was just allowed to dwindle away.

FACTS don’t matter to liberals.  That’s what makes them “liberals.”  They literally couldn’t BE liberals if they cared anything about truth.

 

 

 

Instability, Food Riots And A Heaping Dose Of ‘I Told You So’

I saw this headline and the corresponding story on CNN and was thinking to myself, “Why does this sound so darn familiar?”

Riots from Haiti to Bangladesh to Egypt over the soaring costs of basic foods have brought the issue to a boiling point and catapulted it to the forefront of the world’s attention, the head of an agency focused on global development said Monday.

“This is the world’s big story,” said Jeffrey Sachs, director of Columbia University’s Earth Institute.

“The finance ministers were in shock, almost in panic this weekend,” he said on CNN’s “American Morning,” in a reference to top economic officials who gathered in Washington. “There are riots all over the world in the poor countries … and, of course, our own poor are feeling it in the United States.”

And what would you know, I was out there predicting Obama would lead the world into collapse way, waaaaayyyy back in 2008 after the Disaster-in-Chief began his “God damn America” regime.  And a few months later I expanded on that dreadful Gerald Celente forecast of food riots by combining it with an economist’s take on Obama’s ruinous economic policies being analogous to a gambling addict “placing wild, desperate bets in the hope of getting rescued by good luck.”

Ah, memory lane…

There were two sides offering their views as to just what Obama’s “hopey changey” would look like.  Liberals said it would be a wonderous Utopia and conservatives said it would be an unmitigated disaster.  And, now, as food riots start erupting all over the planet, who turned out to be right???

But wait a minute, you the ever doctrinaire ideological liberal say.  You say, “It’s not Obama’s fault that global food prices are spiralling out of control.  It’s not Obama’s fault we didn’t get hopey changey.  It’s not Obama’s fault that the trillion dollar stimulus was a total failure even according to Obama’s own standards. 

What can I tell you but “Wrong, wrong and more wrong”???

The Federal Reserve Is Causing Turmoil Abroad
Few protesters in the Middle East connect rising food prices to U.S. monetary policy. But central bankers do.

In accounts of the political unrest sweeping through the Middle East, one factor, inflation, deserves more attention. Nothing can be more demoralizing to people at the low end of the income scale—where great masses in that region reside—than increases in the cost of basic necessities like food and fuel. It brings them out into the streets to protest government policies, especially in places where mass protests are the only means available to shake the existing power structure.

The consumer-price index in Egypt rose to more than 18% annually in 2009 from 5% in 2006, a more normal year. In Iran, the rate went to 25% in 2009 from 13% in 2006. In both cases the rate subsided in 2010 but remained in double digits.

Egyptians were able to overthrow the dictatorial Hosni Mubarak. Their efforts to fashion a more responsive regime may or may not succeed. Iranians are taking far greater risks in tackling the vicious Revolutionary Guards to try to unseat the ruling ayatollahs.

Probably few of the protesters in the streets connect their economic travail to Washington. But central bankers do. They complain, most recently at last week’s G-20 meeting in Paris, that the U.S. is exporting inflation.

China and India blame the U.S. Federal Reserve for their difficulties in maintaining stable prices. The International Monetary Fund and the United Nations, always responsive to the complaints of developing nations, are suggesting alternatives to the dollar as the pre-eminent international currency. The IMF managing director, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, has proposed replacement of the dollar with IMF special drawing rights, or SDRs, a unit of account fashioned from a basket of currencies that is made available to the foreign currency reserves of central banks.

About the only one failing to acknowledge a problem seems to be the man most responsible, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke. In a recent question-and-answer session at the National Press Club in Washington, the chairman said it was “unfair” to accuse the Fed of exporting inflation. Other nations, he said, have the same tools the Fed has for controlling inflation.

Well, not quite. Consider, for example, that much of world trade, particularly in basic commodities like food grains and oil, is denominated in U.S. dollars. When the Fed floods the world with dollars, the dollar price of commodities goes up, and this affects market prices generally, particularly in poor countries that are heavily import-dependent. Export-dependent nations like China try to maintain exchange-rate stability by inflating their own currencies to buy up dollars.

Mr. Bernanke has made it clear that his policy is to inflate the money supply. His second round of quantitative easing—the controversial QE2 policy to systematically purchase $600 billion in Treasury securities with newly created money—serves that aim. But even for the U.S. it is uncertain that Mr. Bernanke can hold to his 2% inflation target. Oil is going up. Foodstuffs are going up. And when the Fed sneezes money, the weak economies of the world, and the poor masses who are highly vulnerable to price rises in the necessities of life, catch pneumonia.

The turmoil in Iran is reminiscent of another period when the Fed was on an inflationary binge, the late 1970s. The Iranian oil boom had brought many thousands of peasants out of the villages into the cash economy in population centers like Tehran. On top of the disorientation resulting from that change itself, Iranians were then victims of an outbreak of inflation and a sharp decline in the purchasing power of the rials in their pay envelopes. Confused and angry, they supported the clerical revolution that unseated the shah and has been a thorn in America’s side ever since.

Today’s Iranian revolt has similar causes and, if successful, could be the flip side of 1979, a nation again friendlier toward the U.S. But there is no guarantee of that, or that states now friendly, like Bahrain, will remain so after an Egyptian-style upheaval.

Indeed, it is unlikely that Americans themselves will escape the inflationary consequences of current Fed policy. Aside from the rise in oil and foodstuffs, higher prices of manufactured goods are in the offing. China’s inflation rate is hovering at 5%. MKM Partners, a research and trading firm, last November reported that an internal study at Wal-Mart, a big importer from China, showed that the huge retail chain’s prices are edging up at an annual rate of 4% a year. That recent trend showed up in last week’s consumer-price index report.

The Fed is financing a vast and rising federal deficit, following a practice that has been a surefire prescription for domestic inflation from time immemorial. Meanwhile, its policies are stoking a rise in prices that is contributing to political unrest that in some cases might be beneficial but in others might turn out as badly as the overthrow of the shah in 1979. Does any of this suggest that there might be some urgency to bringing the Fed under closer scrutiny?

And while the above article points out the horrible effect Obama’s massive spending policies are having on the rest of the world, that cold is already catching here in America, too, given stories like this one:

Hope ‘n Change Coming To Fruition: Cost Of EVERYTHING About To Go Up

I told you so.  I TOLD you so.  I TOLD YOU SO.

It’s funny, actually.  As popular as Obama was with fools right here in America, he was even more popular with the fools in the rest of the planet.

And now those fools are beginning to starve because of their Fool-in-Chief.

Think of it: Obama is literally proving to be the fool who flung an entire planet into chaos and war.  After promising so many lies that he would do the exact opposite.

I still remember an arrogant, pathologically narcissistic and delusional Obama saying:

“I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on Earth.”

I’ve said stuff like this many times before, and I quote myself yet again:

Is Barack Obama the Antichrist?  There sure are a lot of signs that he is in the media!  But I believe that he is just one of the false messiahs (Matthew 24:24).  Rather than being THE Antichrist, I believe that Obama is just one of the false messiahs who will so completely screw up the United States and the world that Antichrist will be able to emerge to “save the day.”

You mark my words: the beast, the antichrist the Bible has warned us of two millenia in advance, is coming.  Barack Hussein Obama is a monumental fool who will plunge the entire world into collapse and anarchy.  And it will take a man who seems so great that he will literally be worshiped as GOD to appear to get us out of the destruction that Obama’s despicable and evil policies create.

The collapse may well not occur during Obama’s misbegotten regime.  But he will leave us in such a terrible position that the United States of America will necessarily inevitably collapse.  Once you fundamentally destroy something the way Obama is fundamentally destroying America, you can’t put it back together.  Even the wisest leadership won’t be able to save us.  Four years of Barack Obama was the curse of God damn America that will keep on cursing and cursing.

Liberals always claim that they help the little people.  But their policies HURT the little people.  Inflation is a curse brought about by Obama’s and the Democrat Party’s fiscally reckless and morally insane spending.  Inflation doesn’t hurt the wealthy, because they have the means to buy financial devices and investments such as gold that protect them from the ravages of inflation.  No, it is the poor whom Obama’s evil policies are most hurting.  It is the poor across the world who are rioting now because of food shortages that were brought about by Obama’s reckless polices.  And it will be the poor in America who will soon shortly be rioting in the streets because an evil man brought “God damn America” to our nation.

New Orleans and Cedar Rapids: A Tale of Two Mindsets

Why didn’t we see rioting and looting in Cedar Rapids such as we saw in New Orleans?

The question has been raised in forums and blogs, but hasn’t become a topic that journalists have examined. Maybe they haven’t asked the question because they know they wouldn’t like the answers?

Last week, somebody asked the question, “Why aren’t the people of Iowa not looting and rioting like the people [sic] New Orleans did after Katrina floods?”

It’s a darn good question to ask.

And – before somebody starts to say that comparing the flooding in Iowa with the flooding in New Orleans is apples and oranges, let me make it apples and apples: Let’s compare the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in Mississippi with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.

The Associated Press ran this article describing the broken FEMA response in Hancock County, Mississippi:

WASHINGTON — Facing a growing body count and shortages of food, water and ice, federal emergency officials braced for riots in Mississippi in the days following Hurricane Katrina, new documents reveal.

Federal Emergency Management Agency officials knew their response system had been shattered by the Aug. 29 storm and were unable to provide fast help _ even when the needs were obvious.

“This is unlike what we have seen before,” William Carwile, FEMA’s former top responder in Mississippi, said in a Sept. 1 e-mail to officials at the agency’s headquarters. He was describing difficulties in getting body bags and refrigerated trucks to Hancock County, Miss., which was badly damaged by the storm.

Carwile wrote that he personally authorized Hancock County to buy refrigeration trucks because “the coroner was going to have to start putting bodies out in the parking lot.”

The next day, in another e-mail to headquarters about substandard levels of food, water and ice being distributed in Mississippi, Carwile reported, “System appears broken.”

In a Sept. 1 exchange, FEMA regional response official Robert Fenton warned headquarters that the expected levels of water and ice being sent were far below what was needed.

“If we get the quantities in your report tomorrow we will have serious riots,” Fenton wrote.

But, guess what? We didn’t see rioting, looting, rapes or murders in Hancock County either, in spite of the predictions and in spite of the total collapse of the relief effort.

I saw little pieces such as the following:

Mississippi citizens did not riot in the streets. Did not ransack neighborhoods or shoot at rescuing personnel. We helped, and continue to help, each other. We are not looking for handouts from the government, but we surely need everyone’s help. And we thank those that have done so

And (under the heading, “Mississippi IS Different“):

What I’m about to say is a bit controversial. But I’ve given this a lot of thought. While no disaster could come close to what the Mississippi Gulf Coast has endured, there have been similar situations. I think that most people in most places would not be so generous, so thoughtful of others. My gut feeling is that if right after a disaster there was a truck distributing gallons of water, with debris everywhere and people standing in line in the hot sun with no idea of when the next truck would be coming or what they were going to do next, people there would not only take the 5 gallons being offered, but would ask for another 5.

But that didn’t happen here. I have heard this sort of story too many times in too many towns to question it. There weren’t riots in Mississippi. There wasn’t a rampage of looting. People took enough for their basic needs and looked out for their neighbors. Ken Wetzel of Project Teamwork told me how there were no distribution points in East Biloxi so he spent every morning and afternoon picking up supplies and driving them through Point Cadet in East Biloxi, bringing water and MREs to help those who had lost their cars and couldn’t get to the supplies.

It’s just one of the things that I love about Mississippi.

So let’s just acknowledge the fact that New Orleans completely self-destructed, when other communities banded together and took care of their own.

It’s not about race. Yes, New Orleans was predominantly black, and Iowa is predominantly white. But there have been black people who have heroically banded together in the aftermath of disasters, and there have been white people who have fallen apart (for example, remember the all the horror in Bosnia?).

It’s not even about political affiliation, although I think that how a community votes is a far better indicator as to how they will handle a crisis like a hurricane or a flood than the color of their skins.

Mississippi has generally been pretty reliably Republican. Iowa is a “battleground” state, in that it narrowly voted for Gore in 2000, and narrowly voted for Bush in 2004. But the Democrats in Iowa are as different from the Democrats in New Orleans as the night is different from the day.

I’ve got a big load of relatives living in Iowa: in Iowa City, Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Lone Tree. Some are Democrats and some are Republicans, but they are overwhelmingly conservative, with conservative religious values to match.

I remember all the anger and bitterness and BLAME and the sheer spirit of self-centered entitlement that characterized New Orleans from the very first moments that the TV cameras arrived and started interviewing people. It was all Bush’s fault; it was all the government’s fault; it was all racist white people’s fault. It didn’t matter that New Orleans was firmly in Democratic hands, from the governor to the mayor. It didn’t matter that federal money for levies had been squandered on silly projects going back years. It didn’t bother that the local leadership on up didn’t have a plan or a clue. It didn’t matter that most of the residents were so completely unprepared that they didn’t even have an inflatable raft in a city that was UNDER sea level and surrounded by water.

By way of contrast, I’ve seen a total lack of blame coming from these other towns that suffered quite terribly.

We’ve got a tale of two mindsets: independent vs. dependent; moral vs. shameless, selfless vs. selfish, grateful vs. greedy.

There is a real contrast between the thousands of decent, hard-working, and self-sufficient Iowans from all over the state who got in their trucks and drove for hours to help communities in crisis such as Des Moines and Cedar Rapids fill tens of thousands of sandbags and the residents of New Orleans who had to be terrified of their neighbors. To the extent that things went well, it was because people banded together and took care of one another in an amazing way; to the extent that the society didn’t completely collapse when the water won, it was because people didn’t prey on one another, but stood together in solidarity in the face of crisis.

Liberalism teaches that people are helpless, and that they must constantly look to their government to take care of them. So nobody prepares, nobody plans, nobody takes individual responsibility or individual initiative. And nobody helps anybody. That’s supposed to be the government’s job. When a crisis hits liberal cities such as New York (remember the power outage that led to rioting and looting?) and Los Angeles (remember the Rodney King verdicts, that led to rioting, looting, mayhem, and people burning down their own communities?), there is a moral disaster of epic proportions characterized by anger, entitlement, and blame.

The Iowa caucus (which went to Barack Obama) is proof enough that Iowans aren’t racist. But there is no way that Iowans would ever have tolerated New Orleans’ Mayor Ray Nagin, or his culture of dependence and blame.
