The REAL ‘Obstructionists’ In Congress On Immigration Or ANYTHING Else: 357 House-Passed Bills Are Sitting On Democrat Harry Reid’s Desk In The Senate

August 4, 2014

The lies and slanders in our fascist-in-all-but-name nation are amazing.  And those lies and slanders are upheld and even propagated by the most dishonest media machine since Joseph Goebbels’ Ministry of Propaganda (and at least the Nazis called it what it actually was).

Barack Hussein Obama – our Liar-in-Chief – publicly demonized House Republicans for trying to pass a bill.  After mocking them for not passing a bill.

The dishonesty of the man is staggering.  And the media’s dishonest coverage is the only rival competing in mindboggling hypocrisy and deceit with the president.

The simple fact of the matter is that the Republican House passed a bill dealing with immigration and then went on vacation.  In fact, they passed TWO.  Versus the Democrat-controlled Senate, which did NOT pass a bill and then went on vacation.

But who didn’t do their job according to Obama?  The ones who passed the bill.  Because the ones who didn’t bother to pass a bill were his guys.

Right now, as of today, there are 357 House-passed Bills sitting on Harry Reid’s desk in the Senate.  And Harry Reid will bring them up for a vote over his dead, stinking body.

So, I mean, in an honest universe, WHICH party is the party of “obstructionism”???

Obama believes himself to be a tyrant pharaoh god-king whose will is the will of the gods.  Anyone or anything that disagrees with him is to either be ignored or demonized.

The House of Representatives is a co-equal branch of government.  According to the Constitution, the House actually has not only the right but the duty to pass bills that its members believe in.

Barack Hussein Obama is a fascist tyrant who has clearly radically departed from the Constitution.

The most amazing thing is that I don’t say that according to my standard or even according to the standards of conservatives.  I say that according to Barack Obama’s OWN standard.  I mean, Barack Obama is now literally a fascist and treasonous president according to his very own words:

During an immigration speech in San Francisco, California, President Barack Obama (D) was shouted down by a 24-year-old undocumented activist who protested the Obama administration’s deportation policy.

Minutes into the speech, Ju Hung, a South Korean, UC Berkeley graduate asked Obama to exercise executive authority to halt the deportation of all undocumented immigrants.

“Mr. Obama, I need your help. There are thousands of families being separated,” Hong said. “Please use your executive order to halt the deportation to all 11.5 million immigrants. You have the power to stop the deportations for all undocumented immigrants.”

As the Secret Service started to remove other activists who shouted, “Stop deportations,” a visibly irritated Obama told them to stay.

“Actually, I don’t,” Obama replied. “If in fact I could pass all these laws without Congress, I would do so. But we’re also a nation of laws, that’s part of our tradition. The easy way out is to yell and pretend that I can do something by violating our laws, but what I’m proposing is the harder path which is to use our democratic process, to achieve the same goals… but it requires us lobbying and getting it done.”

Obama has long maintained that exempting too many deportations “would be difficult to defend legally.” In August and again in September, Obama said that he could not unilaterally stop all deportations because he would violate federal law.

Barack Hussein Obama has ALREADY been lawless according to his own words when he “passed” the DREAM Act by act of executive tyranny.  The DREAM Act not only failed to pass in the House of Representatives, but even failed in the US Senate.  But that was okay, because we have a Nazi Führer rather than an American president.  So he just “passed” it himself by tyrannous fiat.

I laughed as I located the immediately above link because it details that as Obama flagrantly violated the Constitution and the law by his own rhetoric, he also promised his DREAM Act fiat would be “the right thing to do for our security.”

And of course everyone who isn’t a complete fool knows how that worked out.

Obama is THE most documented liar in the entire history of he human race.  When you examine the sheer number of gargantuan lies and the sheer number of times he told those lies over and over again, it is simply a fact that no human being has been documented in lying more times to more people than our Liar-in-Chief.

I reflect on this new sense to liberal Newsweek editor Evan Thomas’ now-clearly prophetic words declared on MSNBC:

I mean in a way Obama’s standing above the country, above – above the world, he’s sort of God.”

Obama stands above the country, above our laws, above our Constitution.  And yes, he’s “sort of God” now.  Because of the pathological evil of the Democrat Party.

Not only should Barack Obama be impeached, but the star witness against him at his impeachment ought to be none other than Barack Obama.

But let me get back to the US Senate and the real source of the obstructionism that Obama and even the Democrats keep demonically citing: it’s nearly ALL on YOU, Democrats.

The Wall Street Journal has a great piece titled “Harry Reid’s Senate Blockade” that details the TRUTH you won’t hear on any of the networks:

The U.S. Senate failed to advance another piece of popular bipartisan legislation late Monday, and the reason tells the real story of Washington gridlock in the current Congress. To wit, Harry Reid has essentially shut down the Senate as a place to debate and vote on policy.

The Majority Leader’s strategy was once again on display as the Senate failed to get the 60 votes to move a popular energy efficiency bill co-sponsored by New Hampshire Democrat Jeanne Shaheen and Ohio Republican Rob Portman. Mr. Reid blamed the defeat on Republican partisanship. But the impasse really came down to Mr. Reid’s blockade against amendments that might prove politically difficult for Democrats.

The Nevadan used parliamentary tricks to block energy-related amendments to an energy bill. This blockade is now standard procedure as he’s refused to allow a vote on all but nine GOP amendments since last July. Mr. Reid is worried that some of these amendments might pass with support from Democrats, thus embarrassing a White House that opposes them.  […]

It’s important to understand how much Mr. Reid’s tactics have changed the Senate. Not too long ago it was understood that any Senator could get a floor vote if he wanted it. The minority party, often Democrats, used this right of amendment to sponsor votes that would sometimes put the majority on the spot. It’s called politics, rightly understood. This meant the Senate debated national priorities and worked its bipartisan will. Harry Reid’s Senate has become a deliberate obstacle to democratic accountability.  […]

It is staggering for me whenever I try to comprehend the mind-blowing dishonesty that characterizes our age.  Obama passes sweeping executive order after sweeping executive order that even the celebrated LIBERAL constitutional scholar calls “the rise of an uber-presidency.”  Obama’s and Democrats’ response – being the pathological liar he and his defenders are – is to assert that he has passed fewer executive orders than other presidents.  Which therefore clearly makes him less fascist.

Okay.  I came across a claim that Obama has signed “only” 139 executive orders.  So I’m the president, and I sign only TWO executive orders as follows: 1) all power is hereby transferred to the office of the president; and 2) the Democrat Party is hereby declared a criminal and treasonous organization and every single Democrat is to be hunted down with dogs and burned alive.

And according to Barack Obama and his Democrats I would officially be sixty-nine times LESS fascist than Obama.  Which ought to tell you how incredibly and how pathologically fascist Obama truly is.

Here’s another example of the stunning dishonesty both of the Democrat Party and of the media that serves as their propagandist arm: the demonization over any suggestion to impeach Obama.  If it is so truly evil, why did Democrats do it?  The fact is that they actually called for impeachment hearings against President Bush.  But the screams of anguished outrage are unreal, in spite of the fact that House Speaker John Boehner declared, We have no plans to impeach the President. We have no future plans to impeach the president.”   I mean, short of declaring that even if Obama were caught on video setting up an al Qaeda terrorist attack against America the House would still not vote to impeach him, what more could the man possibly say?

The Democrat resolution to impeach Bush had 11 Democrat co-sponsors – which is already far beyond what the current GOP House has done against Obama.  Here it is: House Resolution 1258, “Impeaching George W. Bush, President of the United States, of high crimes and misdemeanors.”  Please show me the Republican version of that against Obama.

If every news story describing Republicans and impeaching Obama also documented the historical fact that Democrats went even further than Republicans have – for a LOT less reason – I have a feeling there wouldn’t be so much ginned-up outrage.  But of course that would be honest.  And the media is following their dishonest president – who has repeatedly made public statements implying that he is the first president in the history of the republic to face partisan opposition and why, oh-why must there be so much Republican hate???

I can only suppose it’s for the same reason that there’s so much Democrat dishonesty and depravity.  And naked fascism.

Jonathon Turley – again, a true LIBERAL constitutional scholar, has testified that “We are in the midst of a constitutional crisis with sweeping implications for our system of government.”  The most second-cited expert on the Constitution in America – and did I mention he’s a liberal? – said what Obama is doing is “A dangerous change for our system.”

Turley proceeded to denounce the Congress for its failure to reign Obama in.  But what he fails to understand as a liberal is that Democrats WILL NOT reign in their antichrist and if the Republicans try to they will be demonized by the most pathologically dishonest media that has ever existed, bar none.

And all the while Harry Reid has fascistically warped the United States Senate while everybody blames the House that sent 357 bills to Harry Reid for “obstructionism.”  And House Democrats WHO ACTUALLY HAD A DAMN BILL TO IMPEACH BUSH are weeping in the streets and tearing their robes and pouring ash on their heads as they lament how evil the Republicans are for trying to do something they have in fact actually pointedly said they aren’t going to do.  And all the while Obama lawlessly threatens to do something via executive order with illegal immigrants that he is already on the record explaining would be utterly lawless for him to do.

And is the media reporting the truth?  Not on your life.  They’re too busy reporting that I should stop all the hating.

This is a pure fascist age that is so pathologically dishonest it screams in rage when it is named for what it is.  Which means we are ready for the OTHER “man of lawlessness,” the coming ultimate big-government beast, to be revealed.

The beast is coming.  And his Useful-Idiot-in-Chief and his gang of lawless, fascist thugs (like Harry Reid and like Lois Lerner and Eric Holder who is protecting them all) are already here.

Even More Defiant Of Reality Than Adolf Hitler: Evil, Insane Obama Budget Rejected By House 413-2 (That Means Democrats Too, Bozo)

April 14, 2014

Is Barack Obama a “leader” or is he Adolf Hitler raving crazily in his bunker having led his nation into ruin with nobody listening to his crazed idiocy?

If a budget is any indication – and yeah, it really IS given the fact that governments must function on budgets – Obama is actually more out-of-touch with reality and more ignored by his fellow fascists than Hitler was in his bunker.

You might want to read my article:

Obama, After His 2012 Budget Was Voted Down 97-0 and His 2013 Budget Was Voted Down 414-0 BY EVERY DEMOCRAT, Has Chutzpah To Demonize GOP Budget As ‘Radical’

to see what a crazed, radical ideologue fascist Obama has been from the outset of his Führership.  He has been a man who has pathologically refused to work toward any kind of consensus whatsoever – frankly even within his own Nazi Party – depending instead on lies, demagoguery, slander and executive orders.

In that 2012 article, after documenting the facts, I wrote:

So the only meaningful question is whether we should be talking about Obama’s 0-97 “support” last year or his 0-414 “endorsement” this year.

Let’s just get one thing clear, Barack Obama, who had his 2012 budget handed back to him with 0-97 support from his own Senate and his 2013 budget handed back to him with 0-414 support from Congress, is frankly un-American and pathologically socialist.

A statement from Obama when the Republican leadership approached him in January 2009 says it all:

After the last election, when the “so called Messiah” was elected, John McCain had the temerity to ask him if he was going to work with the republicans. Obama said, “I won the election, John. Elections have consequences.”  This statement was the precursor of what was to come.

Obama proceeded to ram through a massively failed $862 billion stimulus (actually $3.27 trillion, according to a CBO analysis) and a wildly unconstitutional, wildly failed and wildly unpopular ObamaCare as his two signature acts.  Obama rammed these monstrosities through larded with pork, partisan boondoggles and gimmicks of every kind with virtually ZERO Republican support.

I just want you to understand what a dishonest and frankly evil man Barack Obama is before moving forward.

That said, let’s see what this radical socialist ideologue – who has not received so much as even a SINGLE vote from his own party in two years of lies and demagoguery, has to say about Paul Ryan’s budget

Has Obama learned a damn thing?  Is this fool capable of learning a damn thing?

So Close: House Rejects Obama Budget 413-2
Guy Benson | Apr 10, 2014

UPDATE– The House has passed the Ryan budget 219-205. The ‘Path to Prosperity’ received 217 more votes than the president’s budget. You can read the GOP’s plan here. My summary is here.
*** Original Post ***
Last we checked in on the budget battle in DC, our post-partisan president was smirkingly denouncing House Republicans’ fiscal blueprint as a “stink burger” and “meanwich.” The wit! The erudition! With Congress’ lower chamber poised to pass Paul Ryan’s ‘Path to Prosperity‘ — which reduces the rate of federal spending increases, reforms Medicare and balances within ten years — the House first took up President Obama’s budget proposal. Might this qualify as a “stink burger?”

The House on Wednesday handily rejected a GOP budget alternative based on President Obama’s 2015 spending blueprint. It was defeated 2-413, following a pattern seen in recent years in House votes to overwhelmingly reject Obama’s budget proposals. Today’s vote is just slightly better than the unanimous vote against Obama’s budget in 2012. The two “yes” votes came from Reps. Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio) and Jim Moran (D-Va.), who is retiring…An Obama administration official agreed with House Democrats that the GOP substitute was not an accurate reflection of Obama’s budget plan. “The Administration would welcome votes on the actual provisions of President’s Budget,” said Office of Management and Budget spokesman Steve Posner. “That is not what this amendment represents, and a vote for or against this amendment is not a vote for or against the President’s policies.” But Republicans rejected these complaints, and defended the idea of consider Obama’s latest proposal as a way to let the House consider all budget options. “Any time the president of the United States takes the time to produce a budget, it merits a debate,” Mulvaney said. “I think it’s a valid discussion we should have every year.” Mulvaney also offered the president’s budget as a mock alternative in 2012, which was rejected 0-414. Republicans could not offer it last year because the president’s budget was submitted late — instead, Mulvaney tried to offer a blank sheet of paper to represent Obama’s budget, but it was not made in order.

I must have missed Mulvaney’s blank page budget gambit last year, which deserves points for being amusing and for highlighting the fact that the Obama White House can’t be bothered to meet statutory budget deadlines. He might try the same thing as a proxy for Senate Democrats’ FY 2015 proposal, which does not and will not exist. Harry Reid’s caucus has declined to participate in the legally-mandated budgeting process for the fourth time in five years. The White House and House Democrats can claim that the GOP’s version of Obama’s budget wasn’t an “accurate reflection” of the original document, but it essentially lifted Obama’s entire vision and dropped it into legislative language. In reality, all but two Democrats — one of whom was this guy — chose not to attach themselves to the president’s plan, which calls for the following:

President Obama’s 2015 Budget Proposal:(1) Never balances. Ever.

(2) Increases spending, ballooning the national debt by $8.3 trillion over the budget window — $1 trillion beyond than the unsustainable current trajectory. Under Obama’s plan, the red ink on the above chart would be steeper, sooner.

(3) Raises taxes by an additional $1.8 trillion (and again, never balances).

(4) Makes no attempt at reforming the gathering tidal wave of unfunded promises that Obama has admitted in the past are driving a long-term debt crisis.

To their credit, and unlike their Senate colleagues, House Democrats will offer an alternative budget of their own. But Phil Kerpen notices that it’s missing something:

The section on Obamacare ends with this defiant statement of policy: “the law of the land should support making affordable health care coverage available to every American family, and therefore the Affordable Care Act should not be repealed.” And that’s it. Don’t repeal it. Don’t acknowledge any of the problems. Don’t do anything to help any of the people whose lives have been thrown into disarray. And certainly don’t do anything to “fix it.” It couldn’t be clearer: members who vote for this budget think Obamacare does not need to be fixed. Indeed it’s hard to read the Democratic budget as anything but a celebration of Obamacare exactly as it is – and that adds insult to the many Americans who have been injured by the law.

In other words, House Democrats’ budget reflects the opinion of those six percent of Americans who believe Obamacare is working well as is. For all their public assurances about “fixing Obamacare” (which didn’t pay dividends for them in Florida), Democrats oppose one of the most popular fixes to the law, their party chairwoman can’t think of a single change she’d make, and their governing document offers zero fixes. Seems legit.

Obama is a creature – a monster, to be more specific – of his own fascist party.  In 2011, I documented the fact that:

Today Is the 900th Day Since Democrats Bothered To Pass a Budget

Well after that, Democrats FINALLY bothered to obey the damn law and the Constitution just long enough to actually pass a budget which they had refused to do for YEARS.

Democrats are people – and this is simply a fact beyond legitimate question – who defy the law, defy process, defy the Constitution (specifically in this case Article I of the Constitution).  And then they fascistically govern by tyranny rather than by any legitimate rule of law.

The Democrats’ Nuclear Option Is Treasonous. Don’t Take My Word For It – Listen To Obama And Other Democrats Blast WHAT THEY JUST DID

November 22, 2013

Today we mourn the assassination of John F. Kennedy – a conservative who believed in a) low taxes and b) a strong and in-your-face military that contrary to Democrat cowardice confronted evil – by a leftist/communist/Stalinist thug.

It is ironic that while we mourn the murder of one of our greatest presidents, we also mourn the murder of our democracy after Senate Democrats with Obama’s Stalinist approval invoked the “nuclear option” to “fundamentally transform” the American political system.

Please note that the Republicans DID NOT invoke the nuclear option when they could have done so when they faced the exact same situation from Democrats who were doing the same thing they now demonize Republicans for doing.  The Party of Lincoln stepped back from the fascist precipice that Democrats just dived over – amazingly right after they were caught in the most massive lie and the most massive socialist conspiracy ever to threaten our Republic via the ObamaCare meltdown.

A couple of quotes FROM LIBERAL SOURCES SUCH AS THE NEW YORK TIMES:

Cumulatively, recent developments surrounding the rollout of Obamacare strengthen the most damaging conservative portrayals of liberalism and of big government – that on one hand government is too much a part of our lives, too invasive, too big, too scary, too regulatory, too in your face, and on the other hand it is incompetent, bureaucratic and expropriatory.

And The Hill citing a bunch of Democrats:

“Here we are, we’re supposed to be selling this to people, and it’s all screwed up,” one chief of staff ranted. “This either gets fixed or this could be the demise of the Democratic Party.

“It’s probably the worst I’ve ever seen it,” the aide said of the recent mood on Capitol Hill. “It’s bad. It’s really bad.”

And what do Democrats do during this crisis?  They do what Hitler and Stalin did: they seize dictatorial power.  At the very moment that non-Nazis would have recognized their failure and stepped back.

So what are Nazi Democrats doing?  They are in their “Hitler-in-his-bunker” mode and they want as much damn  Nazi control as they can get.  Because only unelected “judges” that Obama can appoint thanks to their invocation of nuclear warfare in the U.S. Senate to further warp and pervert the meaning of our democracy and our Constitution can save their sorry fascist asses now.

Democrats are, for the official record, the party that BEGAN the vicious partisan warfare over judicial nominations when they invented the term “Borking” to prevent a good man from being a judge.  Now they’re furious that Republicans would dare to do what they started.  So they invoke the nuclear option – which I guarantee you they will decry when Republicans ensure that Democrat tyranny becomes the new national norm.

This is a rule that had endured for 200 years.  And Democrats have just “fundamentally transformed” America’s political system into one of pure lawlessness.  And a lawless hypocrite president endorsed it because he knows that this is his one chance to impose his agenda before the American people have a chance to vote.

Democrats are fascists.  To paraphrase Obama, they are fascists “period.”  “End of story.”  And “no one will be able to take the stink of naked fascism away from the Democrat Party, no matter what.”

We just had the White House Correspondents’ Association and 37 different news organizations decry Obama’s Stalinist propaganda and essentially scream to Obama’s promise of “transparency” that he is a naked liar.  The  American Society of News Editors and the Associated Press Media Editors sent a letter to the White House that underscores the fact that they are finally becoming aware that they’ve spent the last five years as the useful idiots of a genuinely evil man.  “We must accept that we, the press, have been enablers,” the letter says.  “You are only seeing what they want you to see,” we learn.  Which is the essence of Stalinist propaganda.

In 2005, Then-Sen. Barack Obama Called For His Colleagues Considering The Nuclear Option To Think About “Protecting Free And Democratic Debate.” SEN. BARACK OBAMA: “Mr. President, I rise today to urge my colleagues to think about the implications of what has been called the nuclear option and what effect that might have on this Chamber and on this country. I urge all of us to think not just about winning every debate but about protecting free and democratic debate.” (Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL), Floor Remarks, Washington, DC, 4/13/05)

Obama: “It Certainly Is Not What The Patriots Who Founded This Democracy Had In Mind. We Owe The People Who Sent Us Here More Than That.” SEN. BARACK OBAMA: “Right now we are faced with rising gas prices, skyrocketing tuition costs, a record number of uninsured Americans, and some of the most serious national security threats we have ever had, while our bravest young men and women are risking their lives halfway around the world to keep us safe. These are challenges we all want to meet and problems we all want to solve, even if we do not always agree on how to do it. But if the right of free and open debate is taken away from the minority party and the millions of Americans who ask us to be their voice, I fear the partisan atmosphere in Washington will be poisoned to the point where no one will be able to agree on anything. That does not serve anybody’s best interest, and it certainly is not what the patriots who founded this democracy had in mind. We owe the people who sent us here more than that. We owe them much more.” (Sen. Barack Obama, Floor Remarks, Washington, D.C., 4/13/05)

In 2005, Biden Called The Nuclear Option The “Single Most Significant Vote” In His “32 Years In The Senate” And “An Example Of The Arrogance Of Power.”  SEN. JOE BIDEN: “Mr. President, my friends and colleagues, I have not been here as long as Senator Byrd, and no one fully understands the Senate as well as Senator Byrd, but I have been here for over three decades. This is the single most significant vote any one of us will cast in my 32 years in the Senate. I suspect the Senator would agree with that. We should make no mistake. This nuclear option is ultimately an example of the arrogance of power. It is a fundamental power grab by the majority party, propelled by its extreme right and designed to change the reading of the Constitution, particularly as it relates to individual rights and property rights. It is nothing more or nothing less. … We have been through these periods before in American history but never, to the best of my knowledge, has any party been so bold as to fundamentally attempt to change the structure of this body.” (Sen. Joe Biden, Floor Remarks, Washington, D.C., 5/23/05)

Biden: “I Pray God When The Democrats Take Back Control, We Don’t Make The Kind Of Naked Power Grab You Are Doing.” BIDEN: “Isn’t what is really going on here that the majority does not want to hear what others have to say, even if it is the truth? Senator Moynihan, my good friend who I served with for years, said: You are entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts. The nuclear option abandons America’s sense of fair play. It is the one thing this country stands for: Not tilting the playing field on the side of those who control and own the field. I say to my friends on the Republican side: You may own the field right now, but you won’t own it forever. I pray God when the Democrats take back control, we don’t make the kind of naked power grab you are doing. But I am afraid you will teach my new colleagues the wrong lessons.” (Sen. Joe Biden, Floor Remarks, 5/23/05)

Reid, In 2005: “The Filibuster Is Far From A Procedural Gimmick. It’s Part Of The Fabric Of This Institution … Senators Have Used The Filibuster To Stand Up To Popular Presidents, To Block Legislation, And, Yes, Even, As I’ve Stated, To Stall Executive Nominees.” SEN. HARRY REID: “The filibuster is not a scheme and it certainly isn’t new. The filibuster is far from a procedural gimmick. It’s part of the fabric of this institution we call the Senate. It was well-known in colonial legislatures before we became a country, and it’s an integral part of our country’s 214-year history. The first filibuster in the United States Congress happened in 1790. It was used by lawmakers from Virginia and South Carolina who were trying to prevent Philadelphia from hosting the first Congress. Since then, the filibuster has been employed hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of times. It’s been employed on legislative matters, it’s been employed on procedural matters relating to the president’s nominations for Cabinet and sub-Cabinet posts, and it’s been used on judges for all those years. One scholar estimates that 20 percent of the judges nominated by presidents have fallen by the wayside, most of them as a result of filibusters. Senators have used the filibuster to stand up to popular presidents, to block legislation, and, yes, even, as I’ve stated, to stall executive nominees. The roots of the filibuster are found in the Constitution and in our own rules.” (Sen. Harry Reid, Floor Remarks, 5/18/05)

They established a government so that no one person and no single party could have total control. Some in this chamber want to throw out 214 years of Senate history in the quest for absolute power. They want to do away with Mr. Smith, as depicted in that great movie, being able to come to Washington. They want to do away with the filibuster. They think they’re wiser than our founding fathers. Do it the way I want it done. And I guess there were not very many voices on the other side of the aisle that acted the way previous generations of Senators have acted and said: Mr. President, we are with you. We support you. But that is a bridge too far. We cannot go there. You have to restrain yourself, Mr. President. We have confirmed 95 percent of your nominees. And if you cannot get 60 votes for a nominee, maybe you should think about who you are sending to us to be confirmed because for a lifetime appointment, 60 votes, bringing together a consensus of Senators from all regions of the country, who look at the same record and draw the same conclusion, means that perhaps that nominee should not be on the Federal bench.” (Sen. We are sorry, we cannot go there. We are going to remember our Founders. We are going to remember what made this country great. We are going to maintain the integrity of the U.S. Senate.” (Sen. Senate Democrats Agree With Obama To Raise Taxes On 1.2 Million Small Businesses And Destroy 700,000 More Jobs. Compare Their Failure To Reagan.

July 28, 2012

This is Obama’s “If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that.  Somebody else made that happen” as it matriculates into our tax policy.

You need to go back and understand Obama’s argument.  What he was very clearly saying is that government basically built everything that allows businesses to succeed.  And therefore businesses – which owe their success to government – should pay more taxes.

As I’ve pointed out, if Government (with a big ‘G’ because liberals view Government as a replacement for God and you owe your God) is responsible for the success of business, it is also responsible for the “success” of mass murderer James Holmes and of virtually every single criminal.  Obama told us that Government gave us teachers.  Well, James Holmes went to a public school and had government teachers.  Obama told us that Government gave us roads.  Well, not only did James Holmes use those roads, but he used them to drive to his massacre site at the theater.  Obama told us that Government gave us loan and grant programs.  Well, James Holmes got a big government grant for his studies.  Obama told us that Government gave us the Internet.  And James Holmes used the Internet to buy his massive arsenal with his government grant

Government built the roads that murderers used en route to their murders.  Government built the schools that rapists used on their way to becoming rapists.  You can’t take these things that EVERYBODY benefits from and which only exist in the first place because TAXPAYERS built them for everybody to benefit from and then claim that they in any way, shape or form account for the success of businesses who got where they got by their hard work.  The argument that Obama offered and which the Democrat Party accepted lock, stock and barrel suffers from vicious infinite regress: Government does things, which justifies more govenment.  More government does even more things, which justifies still MORE government.  Still MORE government does still more things, which justifies yet more government.  And so on ad naseum.

The vicious regress is one of the most glaringly obvious results of poor thinking in logic and philosophy; and yet a vicious infinite regress literally forms the epicenter of the entire liberal worldview.

Anyone but a FOOL ought to immediately understand that the things that Government has provided are NOT the reason that business owners succeed.  Because not only criminals but every slacker on welfare ALSO uses schools and roads and government loans and the Internet.  The reason that businesses succeed is because successful business owners had dreams, worked hard to fulfill those dreams, had good ideas, demonstrated individual responsibility and took individual initiative, made difficult choices, saved and invested while others spent, etc.

And Barack Obama as an individual and the Democrat Party as a political group are nakedly evil for trying to falsely claim credit for the success of business and saying to them, “You OWE us for your success.”  But regardless of the smokescreens and lies they now blather in front of every microphone, the ugly, diseased cat is out of the bag.  When Government says, “We should be able to redistribute your wealth because we made all of your success possible, they end up punishing wealth creation and success and undermining the economy of everyone.  Except the slackers.

Morning Bell: Senate Votes to Raise Taxes on Small Businesses
Amy Payne
July 26, 2012 at 8:57 am

Yesterday, the Senate narrowly voted (51-48) to raise taxes on 1.2 million small businesses, which will likely kill more than 700,000 jobs at a time when nearly 13 million Americans are out of work. Senators Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Jim Webb (D-VA) joined all Republicans in bipartisan opposition to the tax hike.

This is President Obama’s economic plan. This is what he asked Congress to do. And he recently told a fundraising crowd that his economic plan has been working.

“Just like we’ve tried [Republicans’] plan, we tried our plan—and it worked,” he said.

But Obama’s Treasury Secretary, Timothy Geithner, said yesterday that “the economy is not growing fast enough,” acknowledging that “unemployment is very high.” “The institutions with authority should be doing everything they can to try to make economic growth stronger,” he said.

The President’s plan, now endorsed by the Democratic majority in the Senate, has little chance of going anywhere in the House of Representatives. But it has put the 51 Senators who want to raise taxes on record.

Perhaps the biggest lie in the tax debate is that this vote affects only “the rich.” That’s simply not true. Many small businesses, known as flow-through businesses, pay their taxes through the individual income tax. Ernst and Young estimates that these types of businesses “employ 54% of the private sector work force.” This tax hike squarely hits 1.2 million of these businesses that hire workers and have incomes above $200,000.

Rather than punishing just “the rich,” as Heritage’s Curtis Dubay notes, “By pinpointing his tax increase on incomes over $200,000, President Obama has maximized the detrimental impact that his tax increase would have on job creation.”

The Ernst and Young study on the impact of this tax hike showed that it could kill more than 700,000 jobs. This isn’t surprising, since the businesses it targets are some of the country’s most robust job creators. But it is surprising that a majority of the Senate would go along with this plan when the country is suffering from 8.2 percent unemployment.

As if that weren’t enough, the Senate’s actions would also raise the death tax from 35 percent to 55 percent. This confiscatory rate would hit small businesses and family farms exceptionally hard. Dubay explains:

The death tax is often portrayed as a tax that only rich heirs pay. In reality, the death tax hits family-owned businesses hardest. These businesses are valuable on paper because they have many assets that they need to make and sell their products. But the businesses’ book values are not representative of the families’ liquid assets. When a family member passes on, these families often have to sell all or part of the business to raise the cash to pay the death tax. This slows the growth of these businesses and in some cases forces them to lay off existing workers.

The Senate’s vote means we are no closer to preventing Taxmageddon, the nearly $500 billion tax increase scheduled to hit Americans on January 1. It is difficult to imagine the economy sustaining such a blow. Families will be hit with an average tax increase of more than $4,100 next year if Congress allows this to go forward. Instead of preventing this calamity, the Senate voted to raise taxes. It simply boggles the mind.

See our infographic: How Will Taxmageddon Impact You?

Where are your heads, Democrats???

Obama loves to pit himself against Bush and pass himself off as the “anti-Bush.” But in fact in many ways Obama is just LIKE Bush.  Bush ended his presidency with the philosophy that, “I’ve abandoned free market principles to save the free market system.”  That was how Obama BEGAN his presidency and he has been doggedly determined to continue to abandon more and more free market principles with every single passing day of his regime.

Obama isn’t the “anti-Bush”; he’s the anti-REAGAN.

Fill THAT one in the blank of Obama’s dishonest statement: “Just like we tried REAGAN’S plan, we tried our plan – and our plan worked.”

Gallup – the most widely recognized polling organization in America – points out that in the minds of the American people Ronald Wilson Reagan as the greatest American president who ever lived.  Reagan ranks five points above Abraham Lincoln who is #2 on the list.

We tried Reagan’s plan and it didn’t work?  Seriously, Obama?  You LIAR!

Obama has dishonestly attempted to harness Reagan’s mandate.  But again, he is a LIAR.  Obama is the ANTI-Reagan.

I rightly stated back in 2009 that Barack Obama would be an abject FAILURE which he has surely been.  And I pointed out in that article how Ronald Reagan saved America.  And I pointed out how Barack Obama – the anti-Reagan – would undo everything that Reagan had achieved that made him the greatest president in American history.  As I state, “Reagan’s policies set the trajectory for growth that would last for 20 years.”

When Bill Clinton finally realized that his connection with liberalism had made the first two years of his presidency an abject failure – which resulted in the largest Republican landslide in American history surpassed only by the asskicking Republicans gave Obama in 2010 – he categorically stated, “The era of big government is over.”  And he began to govern less like a liberal and more like a Reagan with the help of a Republican dominated House and Senate.  And America thrived under Republican policies.  Obama deceitfully wants to claim that Bill Clinton raised taxes; BILL CLINTON CUT TAXES FAR MORE THAN HE RAISED THEM.  It wasn’t until Clinton CUT the capital gains tax in addition to many other tax reforms that the economy truly took off and the budget deficit shrank.

You HAVE to allow the people who risk and work and invest to keep more of what they earn or you inevitably end up with LESS growth, less production, fewer jobs.  It is a simple fact of history that has been documented over and over again.

Obama has taken every good thing that worked for Republicans and Democrats alike and ended it.  He has taken every bad thing that has failed and expanded it.

Under Barack Obama, American labor participation – the measure of the percentage of Americans have been abandoned by the US economy – is at its lowest levels in over THIRTY YEARS since Reagan saved America.

We’re going backward while Obama demagogues and exploits the small business owners who built this country far more than bigger “Government” – which itself was an anathema to the founding fathers who wrote our Constitution – ever did.

Even Obama himself said “You don’t raise taxes in a recession.”  And it is by only the most technical definitions that America is NOT in a recession right now.  Growth is near ZERO and the growth that we have is diminishing to the point that economists are increasingly worried about the “substantial” likelihood of a double-dip recession.  You DON’T increase the taxes on job creators and expect more jobs.

Pull your heads out of your rear ends, Democrats.  And vote this turd out of office.  Obama has now documented with his demagogic policies that he will NEVER understand how the US economy works.

Let’s Not Ever Forget The Brazen Contempt For The Rule Of Law And The Constitutional Separation Of Powers Displayed By Führer Obama

January 13, 2012

I’ve written about this myself a couple of times (see here and also here), but this is the kind of story – just like all the amazingly blatant crap associated with the Obama travesty of justice a.k.a. “Fast and Furious” or “Solyndra” or MF Global – that ought not be forgotten.

Barack Obama is a FascistPeriod:

Grassley Not Buying DOJ’s Non-Recess Appointment Apologia
Lachlan Markay
January 12, 2012 at 4:45 pm

Calling the president’s illegal non-recess appointments “an escalation in a pattern of contempt for the elected representatives of the American people,” Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), ranking Republican on the Judiciary Committee, dismissed a Justice Department memo on Thursday that sought to lend retroactive constitutional weight to the president’s move.

Grassley hinted at Senate “action to check and balance” the president’s power grab, though he declined to go into specifics.

The DOJ Office of Legal Counsel’s memo, also debunked by Heritage’s Todd Gaziano, claims that pro forma Senate sessions do not preclude the president from unilaterally appointing federal officials. That legal opinion contradicts statements by former Obama Administration Solicitor General Elena Kagan – now a Supreme Court justice – and her deputy, Neal Katyal.

The memo was released on January 6, two days after Obama non-recess-appointed Richard Cordray as head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, meaning the president did not wait for DOJ’s official legal opinion before moving forward with the appointments.

Here’s what Grassley had to say in a news release:

The Justice Department opinion is unconvincing. Its conclusion is at odds with the text of the Constitution and the administration’s own previous statements. It fundamentally alters the careful separation of powers between the executive and legislative branches that the framers crafted in the Constitution. It relies on no Supreme Court decision and many conclusions are unsupported in law or the Constitution. It recognizes that the courts might well disagree. And it flies in the face of more than 90 years of historical practice. Taken together with a laundry list of other assertions of the power to act without Congress, this is clearly an escalation in a pattern of contempt for the elected representatives of the American people. The Senate will need to take action to check and balance President Obama’s blatant attempt to circumvent the Senate and the Constitution, a claim of presidential power that the Bush Administration refused to make.

Check out Gaziano’s response for a more detailed look at DOJ’s legal argument. Here’s an excerpt:

The not-too-deft argument in the OLC memo is that the President is free to take the Senate at its word that it would not conduct business during any period it sees fit except that the basis for that assumption also applied from Dec. 17 to Jan. 3. With unanimous consent, such business clearly can and was conducted during the period of time that OLC ignores. Moreover, those facts defeat the repeated finding in the opinion that the Senate is not available to receive messages from the President and act on them. The action on Dec. 23 proves beyond any doubt that they can receive such messages, loudly and clearly, and can act when they want to do so. Their desire not to act cannot be converted so easily into an inability to do so.

Even more brazenly, the opinion states on page 21 that: “even absent a Senate pronouncement that it will not conduct business, there may be circumstances in which the President could properly conclude that the body is not available to provide advice and consent for a sufficient period to support the use of his recess appointment power.” There is no limit on this open-ended assertion of authority of the President to determine when the Senate could properly act on his nominees.

Barack Obama just kissed the constitutional “advise and consent” role of the Senate for ALL future presidential appointments goodbye.

Which is to say, Democrats, that no Democrat and no power will ever again be able to stand in the way of ANY appointee a future Republican president desires to appoint.  Unless the Senate literally occupies the Capitol Building 24 hours a day, seven days a week and never takes so much as a one-minute break.  Because if three days is a long enough period according to the Senate’s own rules, then no duration is safe.

It will take an equally fascist Republican president to undo what this fascist Democrat has done.  And when that fascist Republican comes, Democrats will be one thousand percent to blame for his coming because of what they allowed Obama to do.

The beast is coming.

On Obama’s Viciously Divisive, Partisan And Unconstitutional Power Grab In Making Non-Recess ‘Recess’ Appointments

January 5, 2012

There’s something called “advise and consent.” Every Congress has had that – until the age of Obama. If Obama wins on this, there will no longer be such a thing. No president will ever again have to bother to present his nominees to the people and their elected representatives; rather, he will simply wait until recess and appoint the people he wants. He can appoint anyone, no matter how extreme or how out-of-step with the American people those “appointees” (they won’t be “nominees” because the president will merely appoint them) ever again.

The Senate has been meeting every three days to prevent Obama from doing the very thing he did. Three days kept the Senate officially in Senate by the Senate’s own rules; rules which DEMOCRATS created, for what that’s worth. And now the rule of law is simply meaningless because we have a fascist-in-chief ruling over us.

It is the act of a true fascist dictator and the result of a true fascist party.

You can read my thoughts on this shockingly partisan, divisive, un-American and unconstitutional action taken by Obama here.

But Politico has a decent article on the subject, too:

Obama recess appointment power is murky
By MANU RAJU and SCOTT WONG | 1/4/12 5:54 PM EST

What happens when the president makes a recess appointment when the Senate is not technically on recess?

Nobody knows.

But President Barack Obama’s decision to jam the Senate and install three labor nominees and a consumer watchdog without a confirmation vote raises unsettled legal questions that could have a long-lasting impact past his presidency.

“This is not a nice, clear-cut area at all,” said Robert Dove, a former Senate parliamentarian, when asked about the implications of the president’s move.

Legal experts said Wednesday that there was no precedent for such recess appointments and that it would likely be put to the test in the courts by industry groups seeking to challenge regulations issued by the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, whose new head, Richard Cordray, received an appointment even though the chamber was technically in session every few days.

Obama, they said, had effectively reasserted the power of the executive branch in the ongoing confirmation battles over the president’s nominees that have been dominated by the Senate during the past half decade.

But in concluding he had broad authority to install his appointments, Obama risks seeing other nominees bottled up by Senate Republicans who are privately vowing to retaliate against what they believe is a brazen power grab by the Obama administration. And if Republicans regain control of the Senate in the 2012 elections, it may be even harder for the president to win confirmation of controversial nominees if Obama wins a second term.

“What the president did today sets a terrible precedent that could allow any future president to completely cut the Senate out of the confirmation process, appointing his nominees immediately after sending their names up to Congress,” Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said.

The gridlock was already bad in the Senate, but Obama’s moves could lead to a nuclear winter in a chamber where one senator could bottle up virtually any presidential nomination anytime in the future.

“It certainly will exacerbate the already bad relations between Republicans in Congress and President Obama, and I think this is a mistake,” former Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott (R-Miss.) said in an interview. “I do think this will wind up creating ill will and end up in legal actions.”

The controversy started Wednesday morning when Obama named Cordray to serve as head of the CFPB created by the 2010 Dodd-Frank Wall Street reform law. Cordray had been successfully filibustered by Republicans last month who had demanded a series of changes to the new bureau in order to roll back its sweeping regulatory powers.

Ignoring the outrage from congressional Republicans, Obama took his defiance of the Senate a step further by announcing Wednesday afternoon that he would install three choices to serve on the National Labor Relations Board — Sharon Block, Terence Flynn, and Richard Griffin — as the Senate remained on break until Jan. 23. Flynn is the Republican of the trio.

Recess appointments are typically controversial since presidents are circumventing the Senate by naming someone to a spot until the end of a year’s session. By this point in President George W. Bush’s second term, he had made 61 recess appointments, compared to 28 for Obama.

But Wednesday’s move took on a special significance because the Senate technically had not gone into recess. Instead, the Senate has been holding a series of pro forma sessions every few days in order to technically avoid recessing. The sessions are only a few seconds long, where one presiding senator — usually from nearby states such as Virginia, Maryland and Delaware — gavels the Senate in and out and goes home for the day.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) began holding pro forma sessions periodically in Bush’s second term in order to prevent controversial recess appointments like Steven Bradbury being named to the top ranks of the Justice Department. The Bush administration protested the move, but the president didn’t make recess appointments during the pro forma sessions.

When Republicans took control of the House, going into pro forma sessions became the norm since neither chamber can recess for longer than three days without the consent of the other.

But now that Obama has decided that pro forma sessions don’t matter much, Republicans warn there is no stopping presidents from undermining the Senate’s traditional advise-and-consent role.

“Any future president can recess appoint anyone he wants anytime the Senate goes home for the weekend, if this stands up in court,” said one GOP leadership aide.

The Obama White House said the pro forma sessions amount to a distinction without a difference since senators are on vacation and not conducting business.

“Gimmicks do not override the president’s constitutional authority to make appointments to keep the government running,” said one senior administration official, adding that Bush’s lawyers made a similar argument themselves.

White House spokeman Jay Carney called it a “no-brainer” as he was en route to Cleveland where Obama announced the Cordray appointment.

Obama attacked Republicans for holding up an agency head because of concerns over the agency.

“We shouldn’t be weakening oversight. We shouldn’t be weakening accountability. We should be strengthening it — especially when it comes to looking out for families like yours.”

Republican leadership aides said it was unlikely that senators would sue the administration over the matter, but industry groups said it was virtually certain it would be challenged in court. They said once the consumer agency issues a regulation, the constitutional issues will be raised.

Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) even suggested the recess appointment could be challenged since the Dodd-Frank law calls for a Senate-confirmed head of the agency.

“At some point, there is going to be a challenge over something it does, and whoever is challenging it would almost be committing legal malpractice not to raise these ripe constitutional questions,”said David Hirschmann, senior vice president at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

“Ultimately, by letting the courts decide the legality of this, it’s going to put a dark cloud over how the consumer bureau will operate.”

Recess appointments have been challenged in court before, but courts have generally given broad power to presidents on the issue.

In 2004, when the Senate was on an 11-day recess, Bush named William Pryor, a former Alabama attorney general, to serve on a federal appeals court. The move infuriated Democrats, and the late Sen. Ted Kennedy sought to take the matter to court since it happened within the 10-day recess window that most presidents respected before giving a recess appointment.

But an appeals court rejected the Kennedy challenge, and the Supreme Court declined to hear the case.

Some think the same will happen in this case if it’s challenged in court.

“This is a power the president has always had and every president has exercised,” said Marty Paone, a former Democratic Senate leadership aide who was in charge of floor procedure. “This was a power grab by Congress to take it back. All this does is reorient it to what it’s always been. This restores the balance.”

The GOP has other recourse as well.

Republicans in Congress could block future executive branch appointments until Cordray is removed or changes are made to the CFPB. Or Republicans in the House and Senate can block action on any of Obama’s legislative priorities, like trying to “zero out” funding for the agency.

At the very least, Obama’s move could end the pro forma sessions that have been the norm in recent years, allowing the Senate to officially go on recess.

“In my experience, presidents do get away with recess appointments,” Dove said.

Obama’s act proves one thing: his Democrat Party is the official party of naked fascism in America.  His is a party that ignores the rule of law.  His is a party that flagrantly violates rules that they themselves devised and exercised.  His is a party that creates and perpetuates a spirit of anger and bitterness and revenge unlike anything America has ever seen.

I wrote an article nearly a year ago titled, “Why I Call Obama A Fascist.”   Read the above article and come to a different conclusion: Obama is abusing the power of the president more than anyone who has every occupied the office; and he is establishing precedents that will vaporize the separation of powers.  And what he is doing today will guarantee that America will descend into true fascist tyranny.

Barack Obama is the most polarizing and divisive president in American history.  Period.  We’ve known that from the very start of his regime.

It’s rather stunning to read what this vile and evil man has said about his fellow Americans.  You show me Bush saying crap like that about Democrats.  And yet Obama is a demonic demonizer on a daily basis.

If you want hate on top of hate on top of hate, and if you want a climate of anger and revenge that will poison America for years to come, please vote for Barack Obama.

Because that is the “fundamental transformation” of America that he will be most remembered for when it’s all said and done.

So vote for the party and the president of God damn America.

Btw, one of the things that will come out of this, if it is allowed to stand, is a trillion dollar stimulus that will implode America with debt piled on top of debt and then more debt piled on top of that.

Republicans Hold On To State Senate In Wisconsin As Their Policies CREATE JOBS

August 10, 2011

Great news!  Republicans are still firmly in control of swing state Wisconsin in spite of a MASSIVE effort by unions nationwide to usurp control of the Wisconsin Senate.

Had Democrats won three of the seats, they could have tied up the Senate; four and they could have taken control.  And you know if they’d won in Wisconsin, the message would have been that “the people are rejecting the extremist Republican agenda.”

Well, we WON and Democrats LOST.  So just WHO’S the extremists NOW???

Wis. GOP holds off Democrats in recall elections
Republicans retain 4 of 6 seats

MADISON, Wis. (AP) – Republicans held onto control of the Wisconsin Senate on Tuesday, beating back four Democratic challengers in a recall election despite an intense political backlash against GOP support for Gov. Scott Walker’s effort to curb public employees’ union rights.

Fueled by millions of dollars from national labor groups, the attempt to remove GOP incumbents served as both a referendum on Walker’s conservative revolution and could provide a new gauge of the public mood less than a year after Republicans made sweeping gains in this state and many others.

Two Democratic incumbents face recalls next week, but even if Democrats win those they will still be in the minority.

Turnout was strong in the morning and steady in the afternoon in communities such as Whitefish Bay, Menomonee Falls and Shorewood, where Sen. Alberta Darling was one of the four Republicans to hold onto her seat.

Tony Spencer, a 36-year-old laid-off carpenter from Shorewood, voted for Darling’s challenger, Democratic state Rep. Sandy Pasch.

“I’m in a private union, so they haven’t necessarily come after me,” Spencer said. “But everybody should have the right to be in a union. I came out to stop all the union-bashing stuff.”

John Gill, 45, of Menomonee Falls, voted for Darling and questioned the opposition’s anti-GOP rhetoric, which went far beyond collective bargaining.

“This was all supposed to be about the workers’ rights, so to speak. But that has not been brought up one time. It’s all been misleading, the attack ads, things like that,” Gill said. “The one reason they started this recall, they didn’t bring up once.”

Until this year, there had been only 20 attempts since 1913 to recall any of the nation’s state lawmakers from office. Just 13 of the efforts were successful.

Also winning on Tuesday was Democratic state Rep. Jennifer Shilling of La Crosse, defeating incumbent Republican Sen. Dan Kapanke, who had been in the Senate since 2004. The other Republican ousted was first-term incumbent Sen. Randy Hopper of Fond du Lac, defeated by Democrat Jessica King, the former deputy mayor of Oshkosh.

Republican Sens. Sheila Harsdorf of River Falls, Rob Cowles of Allouez and Luther Olsen of Ripon all held onto their seats.

The stakes in Wisconsin were clearly much larger than control of the Senate. Democrats cast the recall results, in which they picked up two seats, as a rebuff of the Republican revolution started by Walker but it clearly wasn’t all that they wanted. Both parties also were testing messages ahead of the 2012 presidential race, in which Wisconsin was expected to be an important swing state.

Republican and Democratic strategists were leery of reading too much into the results heading into next year’s campaign.

The recall effort helped stir passions in the Democratic base “in ways we might never have been able to achieve on our own,” said Roy Temple, a Democratic political consultant with extensive experience in the Midwest. But, he said, that doesn’t mean the recall can offer much more than hints about broader trends.

“Wisconsin was a swing state before, and it will be after,” Temple said. “Maybe (the recall) is a sign of strong intensity, and that’s not meaningless, but it’s not predictive.”

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus said the party was “all in” to win the races. A coalition of national unions spent millions on attack ads and other campaign activity to wrest seats from the Republicans. Conservative groups also spent millions.

It all amounted to a summer unlike any other in Wisconsin. More than $31 million was estimated to have been spent on the nine recall efforts, rivaling the $37 million spent on last year’s governor’s race.

“I feel that a lot of people didn’t get their way, threw a crybaby fit and decided to have a recall. The majority of Wisconsin already voted,” said 43-year-old Ross Birkigt of Menomonee Falls. “It’s a shame that all of sudden this happens and that a lot of special-interest money gets poured into it. I’m kind getting sick of seeing this stuff on TV every single minute.

Republicans won control of both houses of the Legislature and the governor’s office in the 2010 election just nine months ago.

The Legislature that had been approving Republican-backed bills in rapid succession will likely grind to a halt if Democrats win back the Senate. They would then be able to block anything from passage without a bipartisan agreement.

Any newly elected senator will take office within 15 days, a brief window in which Republican Senate leaders could call a lame-duck session if they are about to lose control.

The races next Tuesday target Sens. Bob Wirch of Pleasant Prairie and Jim Holperin of Conover.

Now it’s our serve as we go after two of the Democrats who fled their state like rats (i.e., “DemocRATS) rather than participate in their Constitutional duties as elected officials.

Keep in mind, these were the six most vulnerable Republicans in the entire state.  One of them was pretty much deservedly dead meat:

(Newser) – Protesters who showed up at the home of a prominent GOP Wisconsin state senator got a little scoop from his wife: Not only was Randy Hopper not home, she said, he also doesn’t live there anymore, and in fact doesn’t live in his district—owing to the fact that he’s shacked up in Madison with his 25-year-old mistress.

And good riddance to him.  Especially if we can win the recalls of the two Democrats next week and replace our losses with quality Republicans.

Here’s the thing that every American ought to know: the Republican initiatives WORKED:

According to new jobs figures, Wisconsin created 12,900 new private-sector jobs in June, almost as many as the 18,000 new jobs created nationwide last month. This represents the largest one-month gain of private-sector jobs in Wisconsin since 2003, according to the state Department of Workforce Development.

Because of Governor Scott Walker and the Republican Party initiatives that made the left go absolutely batpoop, Wisconsin is a JOB ENGINE.

Not that Democrats actually give a damn about that: they don’t care about jobs; they ONLY care about union jobs that in turn fund the Democrat special interest machine in a greedy, selfish, self-centered mutual back-scratching vote purchasing program.

In South Carolina, DemocRAT commissars and their Marxist union comrades don’t give a DAMN about jobs in South Carolina.  When Boeing opened a new plant in the right to work state, Democrats and the unions basically said that the ONLY jobs they care about are UNION jobs.  And everybody else can just go to hell.

Even two of Obama’s own key advisors – his Chief of Staff Bill Daley and his chairman of his jobs council Jeffrey Immelt – have said what Obama and the Democrats are doing in South Carolina is utterly inexcusable.

Now let’s stomp on those two cockroach fleebagger Democrats next Tuesday.

Christine O’Donnell Fires Back At McCain: Don’t Call Me A Tea Party Loser You RINO LOSER

July 28, 2011

John McCain took it upon himself to do everything he could to help Democrts ridicule and marginalize the Tea Party and Tea Party candidates yesterday.

I supported John McCain’s presidential bid because as bad as we was, he was still better than the now-documented failure of Barack Obama.  But I held my nose to support him – at least until he nominated Sarah Palin.

John McCain ran a dismal and pathetic campaign.  On my view, he was far more concerned with maintaining his “Senatorial dignity” than he was with saving America from a dangerous Marxist fraud.  As just one example, consider his elitest refusal to go after Barack Obama for his twenty-plus years spent in a racist, Marxist and anti-American “church” under the “spiritual mentoring” of a wicked Jeremiah Wright.  Even Obama said that attack would be legitimate, but John McCain was far too hoity toity to pursue it.

So when McCain went after Christine O’Donnell as an example of the failure of the Tea Party, O’Donnell responded thusly:

“I think that it is inappropriate to insult the judgment of the majority of Republicans in Nevada and Delaware and that the implication that nominating RINOs somehow means we win was irrefutably disproven by McCain’s own presidential candidacy debacle. After that nightmare, McCain had to veer right so fast he almost got whiplash from all his flip-flopping just to keep his Senate seat. It doesn’t help him to attack those conservatives and Tea Partiers who graciously gave him another chance to keep his job.”

And let me say, “You GO, girl.”

I agree that Christine O’Donnell WAS a weak candidate, but that weakness had everything to do with her lack of political experience and a few documented personal issues, and NOTHING to do with her Tea Party policy views.  When she did her famous/infamous “I am not a witch” ad, what the hell did that have to do with her Tea Party beliefs???’

Democrats always tell us that RINOS are “their greatest threat.”  They did it with McCain, and they are doing it now with RINO Jon Huntsman.  And RINOS are fool enough to believe Lucy and keep trying to kick the football.

What they don’t understand is that Democrats know how to morph RINOS into bloody right-wing bogeymen who will take away all the socialist benefits the sugar-daddy Democrats fought for:

Conservatives know the RINO is a RINO and have no enthusiasm for the useless RINO whatsoever, and the RINO doesn’t have enough of a principled stand on anything to garner powerful support from anywhere else.

And thus down goes the RINO.

I supported John McCain for president and gave money to his campaign.  He STILL keeps hectoring me for money.  I supported Scott Brown and sent money to his campaign, too.  And HE still keeps hectoring me for money.

One went down in flames, the other pulled off a win.  But neither one of them ended up doing a dang thing that made my donation worthwhile; and I won’t be making those mistakes again.

Prior to his run for the presidency, I largely regarded John McCain as an embarassment whose sole quality had been his suffering as a POW during the Vietnam War.  And now, since his failed run for the presidency, I AGAIN largely regard John McCain as an embarassment whose sole quality was his suffering as a POW during the Vietnam War.

The bottom line on RINOS is that you simply cannot trust them to take a strong and courageous stand when the heat is on.

John McCain walked onto the Senate floor and violated Reagan’s 11th Commandment: “Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican.”

And why this man was so willing to attack Christine O’Donnell when he couldn’t bring himself to attack Barack Obama when it counted is utterly beyond me.

For Liberals, ‘Productive’ Politics Equals FASCIST Politics

July 5, 2011

It’s interesting.

I came across this headline and subheading yesterday in the Los Angeles Times: “112th Congress is one of the least productive in years: Fervent partisanship and the standoff over the debt limit are partly to blame for lack of action in the Senate and House.”

I thought about the implications of that.  And the sheer moral stupidity.

Imagine my friends and I are running your family’s lives.  And I assure you, “Don’t worry.  Every single hour we’re going to come out with new laws and new regulations and new requirements for you.  Every hour, on the hour, we’ll make it so you’ve got to do something you haven’t been doing, or you’ve got to quit doing something that you have been doing, or else we’ll punish you.  Because, after all, we want to be productive.”

I can hear you liberals cheering now: “Yay!  Ya!  Someone else is going to take over my useless idiot life!  I don’t have to think or be responsible for myself any more!  Thank you, Big Brother!  Thank you!”

As for those of you with moral intelligence, you would be appalled.

But that’s exactly what “being productive” means to the Los Angeles Times and to the cockroach army of liberalism.

As for me, my usual thought is this: “All we need is one more stupid law.”

As of the last count I could find, the U.S. tax code had ballooned to 71,684 pages in length.  Now THAT is productivity!!!

Rush Limbaugh had the following to say in his radio program.  I want you to note that it’s the same exact liberal script being applied:

Democrat Policies Aim to Shut Down America’s Private Sector
July 1, 2011

RUSH: Minnesota state government is closed. The Minnesota state government shut down at midnight last night, the victim “of an ongoing dispute over taxes and spending between Democratic Gov. Mark Dayton and Republican legislative majorities. Talks fell apart well before the deadline, leaving state parks closed on the brink of the Fourth of July weekend.” Oh, the tears.  You see how this works? Evil Republicans, state parks are closed, the little kiddies don’t get to have their snow cones and the sleigh rides, oh, no, no Fourth of July, evil Republicans.

The AP says that the shutdown in Minnesota puts road projects at a standstill, forcing thousands of state worker layoffs, and, of course, all of which we’re supposed see as a taste of the horrors the nation will face if the federal debt ceiling is not raised by Congress. That’s how all of this works.  For the record the AP has already rewritten this article and they’ve given it a new headline. The first headline was: “Some Noticeable Casualties After Minnesota Shutdown.” The new headline: “Minnesota Shutdown Prompts Political Blame Game.” And naturally the blame falls on the Republicans.

But the whole purpose of this story is to set the stage for what will happen if we don’t raise the debt ceiling in the whole country. The whole federal government will shut down, oh, the horrors of it all. And again, note what the AP highlights here as the things that are gonna suffer: funding for the state zoo, the Capitol, child care assistance for the poor.  Meanwhile, critical functions like state troopers, prison guards, the courts and disaster responses will continue, which should give the Minnesota legislature a pretty good idea what can be safely cut. But the newly elected Democrat governor insists on defying the newly elected Republican majority. It’s historic, by the way, in Minnesota, in both houses, the Minnesota legislature, Governor Dayton would rather shut down that state than consider any spending cuts.

What he wants to do is raise taxes on all those rich people who make more than $180,000 a year, meaning just about every small business owner in the state. And as usual, the AP hopes that Republican moderates will come forward to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Never mind that a record 600 statehouse seats went from Democrat to Republican in the midterm election last November precisely because most people decided their taxed enough already. TEA: taxed enough already. You couldn’t have a greater contrast.  Virginia is one of the highest performing states in the country, a Republican governor. What do you have here in Minnesota? A Democrat governor says achievers in his state are not paying their fair share. A Democrat governor, a Democrat president have reached the same conclusion. Job creators should do with less. It’s gotta be tough living in a blue state if you experience success. You got a governor, you got a president reaching into your pocket.

If these guys get their way, America is Greece, only much, much bigger. But here’s the thing. The Minnesota government may have shut down, but Minnesota hasn’t. Minnesota has not shut down. The private sector is gonna be open for business. The private sector is going to be making sales, paying taxes. If you really want to shut down a state, have the private sector go on strike. That’s when a state shuts down. That’s when the tax revenues begin to shut off.  If you want to shut down a state, if you want to shut down a country, then you take direct aim at the producers and the achievers, and that’s what liberal Democrats are doing. Barack Obama and these blue state governors treat the private sector like indentured servants. They’re parasites. As if they won’t pick up and move and leave to avoid all these onerous taxes and regulations. Every tax increase is an incentive to relocate or move assets. Ask Amazon.com.

California said, “You know what, we’re gonna start demanding sales tax on anything Amazon sells in California.” Amazon said, “Okay, bye-bye, California.” Again, the dynamic reaction to an onerous policy. Now, what do the achievers get for paying more taxes at the state and federal level? What do they get?  The people who make the golden goose golden, what do they get? Food stamps, public sector union salaries, benefits, dues, and pensions that far exceed anything seen in the private sector. That’s what they end up paying for and people have had it. They don’t want anymore of it.

If you want the “productivity” of fascism, vote Democrat.  When Obama, Nancy Pelosi and the overwhelmingly Democrat House of Representatives and Harry Reid and the filibuster-proof Senate were marching in goose-step, we got ALL KINDS of productivity.  We got a stimulus costing Americans and their progeny $3.27 TRILLION that was promised to dramatically reduce unemployment.  2 1/2 years later, it is higher than it was (7.6%) when George Bush left office.  Oh, and they socialized 1/6th of the economy and brought it under “productive” government control.

And, yes, that naked fascist power grab is the quintessence of “productivity” to a liberal.

Until Obama is driven out of office as the disgrace he is, the best possible thing the American people can hope for is a government that can’t hurt us the way it already has.

Until then, “productivity” will be measured in terms of how many new food stamp recipients we’ve added.

Please Vote Democrat So Illegal Immigrants Can Take Over America

October 26, 2010

Mexico is an imploding hellhole.  And in the spirit of redistributionist Democrat Party liberalism, America should be an imploding hellhole, too.

If you don’t think America should implode just like Mexico, you’re a racist.

Obama once stated it magnificently:

“We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times … and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK,” Obama said.

“That’s not leadership. That’s not going to happen,” he added.

And under his leadership, great progress has been made.

Mexicans sweat in the heat and walk in the dust as they slowly starve.  And you vile American scum should damn well sweat like a pig in the dust without food, too.

You can help make it happen.  You can assist in the takeover of America by illegal immigrants who bring their culture of corruption along with them as they openly usurp our once-sacred vote.

And all you have to do to “fundamentally transform” America in Mexico’s image is vote Democrat.

In Wash., illegal immigrants canvassing for votes
By MANUEL VALDES, Associated Press Writer Manuel Valdes, Associated Press Writer – Fri Oct 22, 11:26 pm ET

SEATTLE – When Maria Gianni is knocking on voters’ doors, she’s not bashful about telling people she is in the country illegally. She knows it’s a risk to advertise to strangers that she’s here illegally — but one worth taking in what she sees as a crucial election.

The 42-year-old is one of dozens of volunteers — many of them illegal immigrants — canvassing neighborhoods in the Seattle area trying to get naturalized citizens to cast a ballot for candidates like Democratic Sen. Patty Murray, who is in a neck-to-neck race with Republican Dino Rossi.

Pramila Jayapal, head of OneAmerica Votes, says the campaign is about empowering immigrants who may not feel like they can contribute to a campaign because they can’t vote.

“Immigrants really do matter,” Jayapal said. “If we can’t vote ourselves, we’re gonna knock on doors, or get family members to vote.”

[…]

In close elections across the country, the immigrant and minority vote is considered key for candidates, especially Democrats.

One picture from a pro-illegal immigrant demonstration says it all.  This is the way it ought to be!

This could happen in your town: the Mexican flag flying majestically above; the American flag upside-down in distress beneath it.  Isn’t it beautiful???

I look at this picture and finally fully understand the words of my heroine, Michelle Obama:

“For the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.”

Hope IS making a comeback!

It’s taken Democrats a generation, but the party of Big Brother is finally close to its most cherished goal, which might be best expressed by the words of liberal Democrat and ACLU founder Roger Baldwin:

“I have continued directing the unpopular fight for the rights of agitation, as director of the American Civil Liberties Union…. I am for socialism, disarmament and ultimately for abolishing the state itself as an instrument of violence and compulsion. I seek the social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class and sole control by those who produce wealth. Communism is, of course, the goal.”

PLEASE help the Democrat Party further undermine “the Great Satan” on November 2.
