Obama Following Way Of Dodo Bird To Extinction

September 13, 2011

The New York Times  had a piece a couple of days ago that basically said, “Please do not walk, but run screaming to the exits as Team Obama crashes into the dirt.”

Yesterday we had this:

Daily Presidential Tracking Poll
Monday, September 12, 2011

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 22% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -20 (see trends).

Overall, the president’s Approval Index rating has been at -20 or lower every day for two full weeks and every day but two for more than a month. For President Obama, the ratings have never before remained this low for this long. Even during the final month leading to Election 2010, the Presidential Approval Index fell to minus 20 just once.  Among voters not affiliated with either major party, 16% Strongly Approve and 44% Strongly Disapprove.

And this comes AFTER Obama announces his regurgitated pathway to still more joblessness.

Way to win those independents, Barry Hussein.  Obama is piling a -28 disapproval rating with independents upon his -20 disapproval rating with all voters.

Say hello to Dodo when you see him, Barry.

Personally, I can’t tell Barry Hussein and the Dodo bird apart, anyway.

Failure-in-Chief Obama Receives Lowest Poll Numbers To Date, Sets Up Democrats For November Massacre

June 17, 2010

Obama is sinking into the oily water like a turd that has adhered itself to a bunch of rocks.

From Rasmussen:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 24% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-four percent (44%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -20 (see trends).

Forty-eight percent (48%) of Democrats Strongly Approve while 75% of Republicans Strongly Disapprove. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 12% Strongly Approve and 52% Strongly Disapprove. […]

Heading into the speech, 30% of voters gave President Obama good or excellent marks for handling the oil spill. Forty-five percent (45%) said he was doing a poor job. Most voters (57%) still favor offshore oil drilling.

On another topic, most Americans (53%) continue to believe the bailout of General Motors and Chrysler was a bad idea. […]

Overall, 42% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president’s performance. That’s the lowest level of approval yet recorded for this president. Fifty-seven percent (57%) now disapprove. Those are the lowest ratings yet recorded for this president. The president’s approval rating has held steady in the 46% – 47% range for six months and it remains to be seen whether this new low is merely statistical noise or the start of a lasting change.

The most amazing thing is the independents.  Of those, only 12% strongly approve of Obama, versus 52% who think he is a complete and abject failure.  It was independents who propelled Obama to victory; it will be independents who propel Democrats to massive defeat in November.

Another interesting group of voters to consider are the people of Louisiana, who are in a unique position to evaluate our past two presidents in disaster response.  Because the survivors of Hurricane Katrina overwhelmingly have determined that Bush did a FAR BETTER JOB with Katrina than Obama is doing now:

A new poll–by a left leaning public opinion firm–finds that:

Our new Louisiana poll has a lot of data points to show how unhappy voters in the state are with Barack Obama’s handling of the oil spill but one perhaps sums it up better than anything else- a majority of voters there think George W. Bush did a better job with Katrina than Obama’s done dealing with the spill. 50% of voters in the state, even including 31% of Democrats, give Bush higher marks on that question compared to 35% who pick Obama.

It gets better.  Because the slick, slimy, oily turd is coming off of Obama and sticking to Democrats to make them stink all the more in November:

NPR Poll Shows Tough Road Ahead For Democrats
by Mara Liasson
June 15, 2010

A new public opinion survey for NPR shows just how difficult it will be for Democrats to avoid big losses in the House this November.

Democrat Stan Greenberg and Republican Glen Bolger conducted the first public battleground poll of this election cycle. They chose the 70 House districts experts regard as most likely to oust incumbents this fall. What they found was grim news for Democrats.

For this poll, Bolger and Greenberg chose the districts where incumbents are considered the most vulnerable, and, in the case of open seats, the ones most likely to switch party control in November.  Sixty are currently held by Democrats — many of whom won these seats even when voters in the same district preferred Republican John McCain for president in 2008. The other 10 districts are the flip side — held by Republicans in the House, even though their voters went for Barack Obama in 2008.

These are this year’s swing seats — the political terrain where the battle for control of the House of Representatives will be won or lost. In this battleground, voters are choosing Republicans over Democrats 49 percent to 41 percent. […]

[Bolger] pointed out that President Obama’s approval ratings are much lower in these competitive districts than they are nationally: 54 percent of the likely battleground voters disapproved of Obama’s performance; 40 percent approved.

“It’s very problematic for the president to have a 40 percent approval rating in these 60 Democratic districts,” Bolger said. “When you look at history, when the president is below 50 percent nationally, his party tends to lose more than 40 seats.”

Which is all to say, get ready for some serious pain, Democrats.  Because there’s an angry nation which has been betrayed and let down by the worst president in history just waiting to unload a gigantic can of whoopass on you.

Obama Approval Plunges To New Low Of 46% According To CBS Poll

January 11, 2010

I remember a couple of years back when Republicans dismissed the polls.  Now it’s Democrats who not only dismiss the polls, but demonize them as rightwing bogeymen.

It is human nature to hate and fear that which we do not understand.  And liberals hate and fear reality.

Rasmussen has had Obama well under 50% for some time – and has been routinely attacked as a result.  Rasmussen – alone among polling organizations, polls every single day, and only polls likely voters.  As a result, they have been ahead of the other polling organizations.

But what do liberals say now that CBS has Obama at the same sub-turd level?

Do they start drawing demon horns on Katie Couric?

Obama’s Approval Rating Dips to New Low

Posted by Kevin Hechtkopf

(CBS)

President Obama’s job approval rating has fallen to 46 percent, according to a new CBS News poll.

That rating is Mr. Obama’s lowest yet in CBS News polling, and the poll marks the first time his approval rating has fallen below the 50 percent mark. Forty-one percent now say they disapprove of Mr. Obama’s performance as president.

In last month’s CBS News poll, 50 percent of Americans approved of how the president was handling his job, while thirty-nine percent disapproved.

Analysis: The Irony Behind Obama’s Poll Numbers

Mr. Obama still receives strong support from Democrats (eight in ten approve of his performance), but his approval rating among Republicans is only 13 percent. More importantly, Mr. Obama’s approval rating among independents has declined 10 points in recent months – and it now stands at just 42 percent.

Versus Rasmussen:

Monday, January 11, 2010

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 26% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -15 (see trends).

Just 17% believe that the cost of health care will go down if Congress passes the health care legislation it’s considering. The latest weekly tracking shows that 40% favor the health care plan and 55% are opposed.

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve.

Overall, 46% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. Fifty-two percent (52%) disapprove.

Sorry if I disappoint anybody by saying that I’m with the majority of Americans who disapproves of Obama, and am in the solid plurality of Americans who STRONGLY DISAPPROVES of Obama.

41% of Americans strongly disapprove of our idiot-in-chief, versus only 26% who think Obama is doing really a good job.

Polls Most Damning Of Obama Now Were Most Accurate In 2008

September 4, 2009

I was watching CNN and they kept referring to a CNN poll that had Obama’s approval at 53%.  And one of the panelists was arguing, Obama is in good shape; he’s only lost one point from the election.”

Well, that didn’t sound quite – well, sane – to me.  I’ve been seeing polls from Rasmussen and Zogby that have Obama as low as 42%.  So it occurred to me to ask the question, which poll is reflecting reality?  And then it occurred to me to examine the recent past in order to understand who was best representing reality now.

Fordham University political scientist Costas Panagopoulos says Rasmussen and Pew were tied for #1.  They were spot-on in predicting the outcome and margin of the 2008 presidential campaign:

1T. Rasmussen (11/1-3)**
1T. Pew (10/29-11/1)**
3. YouGov/Polimetrix (10/18-11/1)
4. Harris Interactive (10/20-27)
5. GWU (Lake/Tarrance) (11/2-3)*

6T. Diageo/Hotline (10/31-11/2)*
6T. ARG (10/25-27)*
8T. CNN (10/30-11/1)
8T. Ipsos/McClatchy (10/30-11/1)
10. DailyKos.com (D)/Research 2000 (11/1-3)

11. AP/Yahoo/KN (10/17-27)
12. Democracy Corps (D) (10/30-11/2)
13. FOX (11/1-2)
14. Economist/YouGov (10/25-27)
15. IBD/TIPP (11/1-3)

16. NBC/WSJ (11/1-2)
17. ABC/Post (10/30-11/2)
18. Marist College (11/3)
19. CBS (10/31-11/2)
20. Gallup (10/31-11/2)

21. Reuters/ C-SPAN/ Zogby (10/31-11/3)
22. CBS/Times (10/25-29)
23. Newsweek (10/22-23)

I couldn’t find recent results for Pew regarding presidential approval, but faith and begorrah, Rasmussen is out there for our review:

Wednesday, September 02, 2009

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 28% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -12 (see trends). Republicans have opened their largest lead yet over Democrats on the Generic Congressional Ballot. […]

Overall, 46% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. Fifty-three percent (53%) now disapprove.

So the number one pollster gives Obama only 46% approval – a far shot from 53%.

This seven point difference between polls is huge because it crosses the middle and brings Obama from still very positive to entering very negative.  At 46%, Obama can no longer claim to have the nation behind him.  On top of that, the people who are coming to genuinely despise him now outnumber the people who truly adore him by a whopping 12 points.

It also tells us that Obama has basically lost a whopping 1/6th of the voters who put him in office.  That doesn’t say much about how people view Obama’s governance.

When you see a CBS poll (which claims Obama’s approval has dipped only slightly at 56%), just realize that they are at the very bottom sucking the scum with the catfish in terms of their credibility.  They dramatically overstated Obama’s popularity during the presidential election; why on earth should you trust them now?

We’re still being told how popular and how wonderful President Obama is by the mainline media.  What we’re NOT being told is that his is the 3rd fastest drop to 50% since scientific polls were taken.  Bill Clinton was the fastest; and his party suffered the most massive defeat in history two years after his election.  He then managed to regain his popularity largely by cooperating with the Republican agenda that proceeded to dominate the rest of his administration.

Zogby has Obama all the way down to 42%, which they primarily attributed to his own Democratic base leaving him.

Don’t let the media fool you into thinking that Barack Obama is the popular president whose views are shared by most Americans.  He’s just not.  He started out nearly as popular as Jimmy Carter when he first took office; and Jimmy Carter seems to be the model this presidency will follow as he leads the country into ruin.

Obama has lost more than 20 points by most polls, and largely squandered his initial popularity and approval by ramming one massive spending initiative and socialist project after another through a liberal Congress that isn’t even bothering to read their bills.  He started with a +30 approval index rating; he has now lost an incredible 42 points at his present -12.

From the moment Barack Obama took over this country, he has advanced one radical agenda after another, one shockingly expensive plan after another.  And a massive movement is beginning.  It is being driven by the same independents who turned against Bush the last two election cycles; they are now turning against Obama in droves.

66% of independents are now opposed to Obama.

Barack Obama does not represent America, or the will of the people.  Rather, he represents the radical leftist fringe of the country.
