As GOP Presidential Candidates Consider ‘Intractable’ Issues Like Immigration, They Have Obama’s Example To Consider Emulating (Just LIE)

Jeb Bush made some waves by taking a stance on illegal immigration (it was ‘love’ that drove them to flout our rule of law) that have many conservatives saying not in this lifetime to his nomination.

And we’re told every single day by the leftist-oriented media talking head propagandists that any true conservative has absolutely no chance of ever winning the presidency.

Mind you, we also have the same ACTUAL history being replayed on a regular basis: Republicans listen to these leftist talking heads and opt for a RINO – as in “Republican In Name Only” denoting a candidate who is nowhere even CLOSE to being a true principled conservative – for their nominee on the assumption that said RINO will be able to capture the hearts and minds of the morally idiotic undecided voters.  But once we have committed to the rationale that the left gives us that a more liberal candidate is a better candidate, the left does the “Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown” trick: they proceed to demonize our RINO and literally give him bloody fangs a la John McCain:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, speaking on the floor of the United States Senate, assured America that Mitt Romney hadn’t paid his taxes in years and he had the proof.  The fact that Harry Reid is a diseased liar and a truly demon-possessed creature was left out of the picture.

Democrats play the game of “Death by a Thousand Cuts” when it comes to destroying Republican candidates with lies.  Only of course it’s a TRILLION cuts as the lies and slander and lunatic demonization piles on and on and on.

That said, it truly IS a difficult problem that a conservative Republican nominee for president is in when it comes to issues such as immigration and homosexual marriage and the like.  It often seems, in our truly diseased culture, that the only way a politician has a chance is to be as evil and as toxic as the culture has become.

Ah, but we have an out now.  And we have it thanks to Obama.

If you’re a true, rabid, die-hard, vicious conservative and – for the sake of argument – you truly want to punish your enemies and reward your friends the way Obama has done to his enemies on the right and for his friends on the left – what can you do to get elected?

Just lie, lie and then lie some more.

How did Barack Obama resolve his problem with homosexual marriage in 2008?  He said something that everyone now knows was never true.  He simply lied like hell.  Homosexual marriage was what it was convenient for it to be for Obama’s political expediency until homosexual marriage was what it was convenient for it to be for Obama’s political expediency.

How about selling major economic plans?  Again, just lie.  Make stuff up.  Obama sure as hell did that with his boondoggle stimulus that promised the moon and delivered a mountain of bovine feces.  Obama added $3.27 trillion to the debt and gave the economy a shot of raw sewage in the arm.

Want to take over a sixth of the economy?  Lie like hell first and foremost.  Hey, if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor.  If you like your health plan you can keep your health plan.  And my health plan will reduce costs by $2,500 for a family.  Even though it will do the exact opposite.

National security?  Hey, promise to restore America’s prestige and make the nation stronger and greater when in fact you’re going to do the EXACT freaking opposite.

Start your campaign by promising you won’t run – only to lie.  Assure the country that you “can unequivocally say” you won’t do what you will do.  Fund your campaign by promising that you’ll take federal matching funds.  And then break your promise.  Tell America you’re going to be a new politician and then hold more fundraisers than the previous five presidents COMBINED.  Raise more money than any politician who has ever lived while demonizing and slandering your opponent for the money he’s raised.  Just make sure that whatever the hell you say you’re going to do that you use the IRS as a thug agency to rabidly attack your opponents.  Because if being a dishonest liar without shame, without honor, without integrity, without decency, without any virtue of any kind worked so well for Obama, why the hell not?

If you follow Obama’s example, you can say WHATEVER you need to say, get yourself elected, and then do whatever you’re going to do.  All the while demonizing everybody else around you.

So, yeah, say the Jeb Bush line.  Hell, say it at least 37 times on major venues.  And then after you’re elected, deport every damn ONE of the up-to 20 million illegal immigrants.  I mean, kick down every damn door in America and drag them out screaming by their hair just because it’s more fun to drag them out that way.

Here’s how a Republican candidate for president ought to campaign: just mirror Obama and be as dishonest with what you are actually doing as imaginable.  What did Obama do?  He’s a pathologically dishonest liar who wanted to present himself as caring for illegal immigrants on the one hand while dealing with the clear and present danger they posed on the other.  So Obama claimed he was only attacking CRIMINAL illegal immigrants.  When in fact he was doing no such thing: the cockroach was letting them go free to prey on Americans again and again.  And we now know that Obama was dishonestly inflating his deportation numbers all along – because he is the DEFINITION of “dishonest.”  Here’s that:

In a stunning admission before a House Committee panel on Tuesday, DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson admitted that the Obama Administration has been artificially inflating deportation numbers. While the administration has claimed a “record number” of deportations, earning Pres. Obama the nickname “Deporter in Chief”, Johnson admitted that they have been counting border apprehensions that are turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers as deportations. […]

Jessica Vaughan, the Director of Policy Studies at the Center for Immigration Studies, has been arguing that actual deportations have declined under Pres. Obama. In her research, she says that if you count all removals, including those done by ICE and Border Patrol, then the Obama administration averages 800,000 removals per year. In comparison, George W. Bush would have removed more than 1.3 million illegal aliens per year, and Bill Clinton would have removed more than 1.5 million per year.

Vaughan also found that if you examine deportations from enforcement efforts by ICE, the number declined by 19 percent between 2011 and 2012 and was on track to decline another 22 percent in 2013. Further, the total number of deportations in 2011 was the lowest level since 1973.

You see, being a pathologically dishonest liar, Obama relied on the worst form of lie – cooked statistics (just like he has done with his health care takeover):

Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson acknowledged Tuesday that his department’s deportation numbers are now mostly made up of illegal immigrants caught at the border, not just those from the interior, which means they can’t be compared one-to-one with deportations under President Bush or other prior administrations.

The administration has argued it is tougher on illegal immigration than previous presidents, and immigrant-rights groups have excoriated President Obama, calling him the “deporter-in-chief” for having kicked out nearly 2 million immigrants during his five-year tenure.

But Republican critics have argued those deportation numbers are artificially inflated because more than half of those being deported were new arrivals, caught at the border by the U.S. Border Patrol. Previous administrations primarily counted only those caught in the interior of the U.S. by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

“Under the Obama administration, more than half of those removals that were attributed to ICE are actually a result of Border Patrol arrests that wouldn’t have been counted in prior administrations,” said Rep. John Culberson, Texas Republican.

“Correct,” Mr. Johnson confirmed.

That would mean that in a one-to-one comparison with the final years of the Bush administration, deportations of those same people under Mr. Obama had actually fallen, according to immigration analysts who have studied the data.

So if you are the conservative mirror of Obama, with dishonesty being your common ground, here’s what you will do: you will kick down doors and you will drag out every single illegal immigrant in America by their damn hair while their children scream for their mommies and daddies.  But you will say you will do (are doing and have done) just the opposite.  That way, you can be like Obama and have your political cake and get to eat it too.

Just lie, lie, LIE like the devil Obama.  Say whatever you want.  Say illegal immigrants flooding into America is “an act of love.”  And then ruthlessly target them the way the Obama thug IRS targeted the tea party while announcing how loving you are.

There you go.  Intractable political problem solved.  And all it takes is the willingness to be the worst liar in the history of the human race (after Obama, who has set the bar of deceit and dishonesty so high no one will ever break his record).

If you have the spirit of Obama, you will promise to be a fundamentally different politician who will transcend politics and elevate America.  And then you will crush your enemies, break them, divide them, and drive them off the field.  Break America into fractured, divided pieces as long as you end up with at least one more piece than your enemies.  And ride on, you son of a gun.

Now, I write that knowing the future because I know the Bible.  It won’t happen.  It won’t happen because America has degenerated into a place where liars and their lies will win, and Democrats are just better at being liars while their base is better at tolerating lies.   Republicans can’t win that game any better than they can win the socialism game by promising to out-socialist the Democrats to buy whatever votes they need to buy.

I think – maybe even dare to hope – that Republicans will have a great 2014 midterm.  But by 2016, the consistent liars will win the day (in other words, President Hillary).

You see, there comes a point when a culture is so toxic that there are simply no good options.  We’ll have only “choices” like we had in 2012 (where we could either elect a man who believes that Christ Jesus is Lucifer’s brother or we could re-elect a man who actually IS Lucifer’s brother).  And given the choice between bad and worse, a wicked people will generally choose “worse.”  Until a Hitler comes and then until the end.

God knew and knows the end from the beginning.  He knew that America would rise on godly values and He knew that America would fall as the people became sufficiently wicked as to vote for a Democrat Party that would pervert and piss on every virtue the Word of God holds dear.  That’s why America is nowhere to be found in Bible prophecy as we literally vote to destroy ourselves in the suicidal and nihilistic act of cutting ourselves off from God’s blessing.  God knew that America was going to go down and go down hard.

Ultimately, big government liberals will transition to the ultimate big government liberal: the Bible calls him “the beast” and he will take over the global economy just as every liberal as dreamed about.  Like Obama, he will promise the world and make political progress by skillfully demonizing his enemies.  But he will lead the world into literal hell on earth.

 

Get Your Spiritual House In Order. Because The Beast Is Coming And You Don’t Want To Be With The Huge Majority That Takes His Mark.

I write this as I hear the report from Fox News that Ohio has just been called for Obama.

Amazingly, and I would suggest incredibly insanely, the American people have decided that the status quo – Barack Obama as president, a Senate that hasn’t bothered to pass a budget in over three years, and a House of Representatives that is even more firmly under Republican control – is the path to a great and glorious future.  Part of me wants to cry, but I dare say the larger part wants to start laughing my dang head off at the sheer idiocy of the American electorate.

As I contemplate a second Obama term, a couple of quotes come to mind:

A journalist named Stephen Laurant had been jailed circa 1935 for questioning Nazism:

“I am writing this from cell 24. Outside a new Germany is being created. Many millions are rejoicing. Hitler is promising everyone precisely what they want. I think when they wake to their sobering senses, they will find they have been led by the nose and duped by lies.”

And then one from Jewish doctor Herta Knotwolf:

“So many worship him as their savior, their redeemer from unbearable poverty.  Many are filled with some have worry, but all are united in the words, ‘Now things will change.”

Ah, yes, hope and change.

I wonder how that worked out for old Herta.  Because things very certainly DID change.  I mean, she was certainly spot on about that part, right?

This isn’t about intelligence; it’s about moral intelligence.  In the 1930s when the German people were busy electing the Nazi Party and Adolf Hitler to power, they were the most educated, scientific and literate people on the face of the earth.  Versus the people of the United States, who frankly have never been more stupid in their nation’s entire history.

There simply comes a point in the life of every nation and even every civilization where there is an overwhelming desire to commit suicide and the people give in to that desire.  And those peoples may not have thought that was what they were doing when they made the fatal decisions that resulted in their destruction, but suicide is precisely what they ultimately chose.

And it’s what the United States of America just decided to do.

Our real national debt is now already trillions of dollars beyond the $222 trillion that it was reported as being about three months ago.

Republicans and Democrats spent last summer battling how best to save $2.1 trillion over the next decade. They are spending this summer battling how best to not save $2.1 trillion over the next decade.

In the course of that year, the U.S. government’s fiscal gap — the true measure of the nation’s indebtedness — rose by $11 trillion.

The fiscal gap is the present value difference between projected future spending and revenue. It captures all government liabilities, whether they are official obligations to service Treasury bonds or unofficial commitments, such as paying for food stamps or buying drones.

Some question whether “official” and “unofficial” spending commitments can be added together. But calling particular obligations “official” doesn’t make them economically more important. Indeed, the government would sooner renege on Chinese holding U.S. Treasuries than on Americans collecting Social Security, especially because the U.S. can print money and service its bonds with watered-down dollars.

For its part, economic theory sees through labels and views a country’s official debt for what it is — a linguistic construct devoid of real economic content. In contrast, the fiscal gap is theoretically well-defined and invariant to the choice of labels. Each labeling choice changes the mix of obligations between official and unofficial, but leaves the total unchanged.

Dangerous Growth

The U.S. fiscal gap, calculated (by us) using theCongressional Budget Office’s realistic long-term budget forecast — the Alternative Fiscal Scenario — is now $222 trillion. Last year, it was $211 trillion. The $11 trillion difference — this year’s true federal deficit — is 10 times larger than the official deficit and roughly as large as the entire stock of official debt in public hands.

This fantastic and dangerous growth in the fiscal gap is not new. In 2003 and 2004, the economists Alan Auerbach and William Gale extended the CBO’s short-term forecast and measured fiscal gaps of $60 trillion and $86 trillion, respectively. In 2007, the first year the CBO produced the Alternative Fiscal Scenario, the gap, by our reckoning, stood at $175 trillion. By 2009, when the CBO began reporting the AFS annually, the gap was $184 trillion. In 2010, it was $202 trillion, followed by $211 trillion in 2011 and $222 trillion in 2012.

So, based on that actual debt increasing by $11 trillion in one year and three full months passing since the announcement of said debt, that figure is now $222 trillion plus an additional $2.75 trillion.  So please don’t stare at the zeros as they whiz by or your eyeballs will pop out and it is no easy job trying to stick them back into your skull.

And with an Obama who has increased the “official” national debt by sixty percent in only four years, along with a Democrat Senate that hasn’t bothered to pass a budget in well over three years (it’s been 1,259 days since Harry Reid’s Senate passed a budget back on April 23 of 2009), and a Republican-controlled House that has already shown they will not abandon their agenda or their constituents, well, that’s your team who will take on looming disaster.

We just elected our own destruction.  Taxmaggedom is an example of this dilemma we just voted to perpetuate: they’ll probably be able to kick the can of economic calamity down the road for another few months, but that calamity will continue to hang over our heads like a shrapnel-loaded bomb waiting to blow up in our national face.

I know many of you love suspense, but what’s going to happen is “disaster” will be wearing Harlem Globetrotter uniforms and coming from every direction while Team Obama will be dressed in Washington Generals uniforms.  And by the end of the game, Disaster will have made America look incredibly stupid.

We’re a hopelessly fractured nation under Obama.  And just to try to describe that in election night terms, Obama will be the first president in history to be reelected by a smaller electoral college majority than he was elected with when he first became president, and as I write this Obama is actually over two-hundred thousand votes behind in the popular vote.  Not that it will matter to Obama, who will view his victory as a mandate.

And that division and bitterness and inability to solve any of our crises – which was worse than it has EVER been these last four years under Obama – will get worse.  I promise you.  And that is because we, like the locusts, have no leader; rather, we have a demagogue who masquerades as a leader.  He is capable only of blaming others while refusing to accept any responsibility for pretty much anything.  We’re going to be paying dearly for that.

I don’t know how to tell you this, America.  You deserve to suffer for your stupidity.  And you’re going to get what you deserve.  Because this is still God damn America, full speed ahead to hell.

By the time Barack Hussein Obama leaves office in 2016, America will be the proverbial headless chicken.  We might still be technically on our feet, but we’re going to be dead.  Unless you’re reaching into your pocket as we speak to pay that $224.75 trillion our country owes, that is.  Anyone?  Is that crickets I hear?

We are a nation that cannot even POSSIBLY begin to come together to solve our problems.  And the reelection of the most partisan and most divisive president to ever lead America is all you need to know to realize that the United States of America will NEVER be able to come together.  Until Antichrist comes along to sweep the same fools off their feet who were swept off their feet by Obama.

How does Antichrist come to power?  Revelation chapter six describes the scenario: a complete global economic collapse, wars on top of wars as nation and ethnic group fight nation and ethnic group to the death over resources and grudges, famine and mass death will characterize the world that Antichrist will ride to save on his white horse.

I look at that $224.75 trillion debt, I look at a European failed experiment in socialism that is teetering on the brink of collapse, and I feel in my gut that Revelation 6 isn’t very far away from the real world.

Antichrist will literally be worshiped by the entire world.  Why?  Because he will appear to have all the answers, and people will look at what the world had been like before the beast came along to save them, and behold the vision that the Antichrist shows them, and literally the entire world will belong to this coming tyrant.

The interesting thing is that absolutely everything we know about this coming Antichrist screams “big government.”  The Antichrist will be the ultimate big government socialist.  Period.   If you are a typical liberal who admires the United Nations, well, your future object of worship will literally BE the United Nations.  The entire planet will rally behind this man.  If you think that the government ought to have a stronger hand in the economy, worry no more: because the government of the Antichrist will have complete control over anything that has anything whatsoever to do with the economy.

Oh, Obama is going to fail something fierce, but you Democrats can already breathe a future sigh of relief right now: because the Antichrist you will soon be worshiping will fulfill your wildest dreams.

The Antichrist will also be the quintessential politician.

The Book of Daniel applies the term “wisdom” to both Daniel and the coming Antichrist.  Daniel was given wisdom to understand riddles and unravel them; Antichrist will have the wisdom to understand riddles and therefore tie the truth up in knots such that no human being will be able to penetrate his facade of lies and deceit.

He’s coming.  And he’s going to be here very soon.  And if you haven’t already made your decision for Jesus Christ, you will fall prey to the beast’s wisdom and you will worship him and you will take his mark.

An old missionary couple had been working in Africa for years and were  returning to New York to retire. They had no pension; their health was  broken; they were defeated, discouraged, and afraid. They discovered  they were booked on the same ship as President Teddy Roosevelt, who was  returning from one of his big-game hunting expeditions.

No one paid any attention to them. They watched the fanfare that  accompanied the President’s entourage, with passengers trying to catch a  glimpse of the great man. As the ship moved across the ocean, the old  missionary said to his wife, “Something is wrong.” “Why should we have  given our lives in faithful service for God in Africa all these many  years and have no one care a thing about us? Here this man comes back  from a hunting trip and everybody makes much over him, but nobody gives  two hoots about us.”

“Dear, you shouldn’t feel that way”, his wife said. He replied “I can’t  help it; it doesn’t seem right.”

When the ship docked in New York, a band was waiting to greet the  President. The mayor and other dignitaries were there. The papers were  full of the President’s arrival. No one noticed this missionary couple.  They slipped off the ship and found a cheap flat on the East Side,  hoping the next day to see what they could do to make a living in the  city.

That night the man’s spirit broke. He said to his wife, “I can’t take  this; God is not treating us fairly”. His wife replied, “Why don’t you  go in the bedroom and tell that to the Lord?”

A short time later he came out from the bedroom, but now his face was  completely different. His wife asked, “Dear, what happened?” “The Lord  settled it with me”, he said. “I told Him how bitter I was that the  President should receive this tremendous homecoming, when no one met us  as we returned home. And when I finished, it seemed as though the Lord  put His hand on my shoulder and simply said;

“But you’re not home yet.”

Jacob Rothschild, John Paulson And George Soros Are All Betting That Financial Disaster Is Coming

Are you willing to bet against three of the wealthiest men in the entire world? Jacob Rothschild recently bet approximately 200 million dollars that the euro will go down. Billionaire hedge fund manager John Paulson made somewhere around 20 billion dollars betting against the U.S. housing market during the last financial crisis, and now he has made huge bets that the euro will go down and that the price of gold will go up. And as I wrote about in my last article, George Soros put approximately 130 million more dollars into gold last quarter. So will the euro plummet like a rock? Will the price of gold absolutely soar? Well, if a massive financial disaster does occur both of those two things are likely to happen. The European economy is becoming more unstable with each passing day, and investors all over the globe are looking for safe places to put their money. The mainstream media keeps telling us that everything is going to be okay, but the global elite are sending us a much, much different message by their actions. Certainly Rothschild, Paulson and Soros know about things happening in the financial world that the rest of us don’t. The fact that they are all behaving in a consistent manner right now should be alarming for all of us.

Let’s start with Jacob Rothschild. Apparently he believes that the euro is headed for quite a tumble. The following is from a recent CNBC article….

You know the euro is in deep water when a doyen of the banking industry, Lord Jacob Rothschild takes a £130 million ($200 million) bet against it.

Okay, but the euro has already been falling dramatically. In mid-2011, the EUR/USD was above the 1.40 mark, and right now it is at about 1.23.

Does it really have that much more that it can fall?

If the eurozone ends up breaking apart it sure does.

If there is a Greek default, or if Germany leaves the euro, or if a new currency comes along to replace the euro those currently betting against it will end up looking like geniuses.

Another big name in the financial world that is betting against the euro right now is John Paulson. The following is from a recent Der Spiegel article….

One of these warriors is John Paulson. The hedge fund manager once made billions by betting on a collapse of the American real estate market. Not surprisingly, the financial world sat up and took notice when Paulson, who is now widely despised in America as a crisis profiteer, announced in the spring that he would bet on a collapse of the euro.

And as I noted in my last article, Paulson has also been putting billions of dollars into gold.

So just what are Rothschild and Paulson anticipating?

Could we be on the verge of a massive financial collapse in Europe?

According to the Der Spiegel article mentioned above, a lot of investors seem to be preparing for such a possibility right now….

Banks, companies and investors are preparing themselves for a collapse of the euro. Cross-border bank lending is falling, asset managers are shunning Europe and money is flowing into German real estate and bonds. The euro remains stable against the dollar because America has debt problems too. But unlike the euro, the dollar’s structure isn’t in doubt.

The financial world is starting to wake up to the fact that the globe is absolutely drowning in debt and it is not really good to be holding fiat currencies when a debt crisis erupts.

When men like John Paulson and George Soros start pouring huge amounts of money into gold, it is time to start becoming alarmed about the state of the global financial system.

The amount of money that these men are investing in gold is staggering….

There was also news last week in an SEC filing that both George Soros and John Paulson had increased their investment in SPDR Gold Trust, the world’s largest publicly traded physical gold exchange traded fund (ETF).

Mr Soros upped his stake in the ETF to 884,400 shares from 319,550 and Mr Paulson bought 4.53m shares, bringing his stake to 21.3m.

At the current price of about $156 a share, these are new investments of about $88m of Mr Soros’ cash and more than $700m from Mr Paulson’s funds. These are significant positions.

And the central banks of the world are certainly buying gold at an unprecedented rate as well. According to the World Gold Council, the central banks of the world added 157.5 metric tons of gold last quarter. That was the biggest move into gold by the central banks of the globe that we have seen in modern financial history.

But that might just be the beginning.

According to a recent Marketwatch article, there are persistent rumors that China has plans to buy thousands of metric tons of gold….

Within the gold market, there is unconfirmed speculation that China plans to buy up to at least 5,000 to 6,000 metric tons of gold and that it will start to buy during this year, according to Kevin Kerr, president of Kerr Trading International.

If China buys this much gold, that would exceed annual, global production of gold, he said. “We do not have enough gold for China to buy that much, and it will take China time to purchase this amount of gold.”

So what comes next?

Nobody is quite sure.

Another major financial crisis could erupt in Europe at any moment.

A major war in the Middle East could start literally at any time.

Renowned investor Jim Rogers believes that things are really going to get “bad after the next election“.

Others believe that the action could start even sooner than that.

The truth is that even though we have not seen a “Lehman Brothers moment” yet, things in Europe just continue to get progressively worse. The following is from a recent article by Mark E. Grant….

There is a growing realization in Europe that the euro simply does not work. Italy is absolutely drowning in debt, the Spanish economy has basically descended into a depression, and Greece has been experiencing depression-like conditions for years at this point.

The euro is doomed. The only question is who is going to blink first.

Nobody wants to be the first to leave the euro. There are rumblings that it could actually be Finland that leaves the euro first, and that would please Germany just fine because they don’t want to look like the bad guys in all of this.

But that doesn’t mean that Germany won’t eventually pull the trigger if nobody else does. The German public is sick and tired of bailing out the weak sisters of southern Europe, and at this point it looks like it would take perpetual bailouts just to keep the euro together.

And recently there have been lots of little signs that Germany is starting to move slowly toward the exit doors.

In fact, I found it quite interesting that a giant euro sculpture was recently removed from the Frankfurt International Airport….

A massive € sculpture (identical to the one in front of the European Central Bank) was dismantled and removed from the Frankfurt International Airport in Germany Thursday.

The official explanation is ‘the plastic parts are getting weak after 11 years and the terminal needed the space‘.

Does € sculpture’s removal from the Frankfurt Airport indicate Germany is preparing for a surprise return to the Deutsche Mark?

Sure that might just be a coincidence, but it also could be a harbinger of things to come.

Sadly, most average people living in North America and Europe have absolutely no idea what is coming. Most of them just want to be able to get up in the morning and go to work and pay the bills and take care of their families.

Unfortunately, millions upon millions of those hard working individuals are in for a very rude awakening.

A lot of people are about to have their current lifestyles totally turned upside down.

But it doesn’t have to be all bad.

In fact, I found it very interesting to read about how some young people are responding to the depression in Greece….

In the spring of 2010, just as the Greek government was embarking on some of its harshest austerity measures, 29-year-old Apostolos Sianos packed in his well-paid job as a website designer, gave up his Athens apartment and walked away from modern civilisation.

In the foothills of Mount Telaithrion on the Greek island of Evia, Mr Sianos and three other like-minded Athenians set up an eco-community.

The idea was to live in an entirely sustainable way, free from the ties of money and cut off from the national electricity grid.

The group sleeps communally in yurts they have built themselves, they grow their own food and exchange the surplus in the nearest village for any necessities they cannot produce.

I think there is a lesson to be learned there.

When the system fails, it is going to be important to be able to live independently of the system.

Governments and big banks all over the world have been rapidly preparing for the coming financial collapse.

Perhaps the rest of us should be too.

If you can believe it, 77 percent of all Americans live paycheck to paycheck at least some of the time.

If another major economic crisis comes along, many of those people are going to be totally wiped out.

And there are already signs that the U.S. economy is basically on life support at this point.

Just look at the velocity of money.

In an economy that is growing and healthy, money tends to circulate very, very quickly.

But when an economy is sick, money tends to circulate very slowly.

And that is exactly what is happening right now. In fact, the velocity of money is currently at the lowest level in modern U.S. history….

This is exactly what happened back in the 1930s. The velocity of money absolutely plummeted. When people are scared, credit is tight and times are hard, money does not exchange hands as rapidly.

But this is just the beginning.

What we are experiencing right now is rip-roaring prosperity compared to what is coming.

Jacob Rothschild, John Paulson and George Soros are preparing themselves for the tremendous chaos that is coming.

Riots from Haiti to Bangladesh to Egypt over the soaring costs of basic foods have brought the issue to a boiling point and catapulted it to the forefront of the world’s attention, the head of an agency focused on global development said Monday.

“This is the world’s big story,” said Jeffrey Sachs, director of Columbia University’s Earth Institute.

“The finance ministers were in shock, almost in panic this weekend,” he said on CNN’s “American Morning,” in a reference to top economic officials who gathered in Washington. “There are riots all over the world in the poor countries … and, of course, our own poor are feeling it in the United States.”

And what would you know, I was out there predicting Obama would lead the world into collapse way, waaaaayyyy back in 2008 after the Disaster-in-Chief began his “God damn America” regime.  And a few months later I expanded on that dreadful Gerald Celente forecast of food riots by combining it with an economist’s take on Obama’s ruinous economic policies being analogous to a gambling addict “placing wild, desperate bets in the hope of getting rescued by good luck.”

Ah, memory lane…

There were two sides offering their views as to just what Obama’s “hopey changey” would look like.  Liberals said it would be a wonderous Utopia and conservatives said it would be an unmitigated disaster.  And, now, as food riots start erupting all over the planet, who turned out to be right???

But wait a minute, you the ever doctrinaire ideological liberal say.  You say, “It’s not Obama’s fault that global food prices are spiralling out of control.  It’s not Obama’s fault we didn’t get hopey changey.  It’s not Obama’s fault that the trillion dollar stimulus was a total failure even according to Obama’s own standards. 

What can I tell you but “Wrong, wrong and more wrong”???

The Federal Reserve Is Causing Turmoil Abroad
Few protesters in the Middle East connect rising food prices to U.S. monetary policy. But central bankers do.

In accounts of the political unrest sweeping through the Middle East, one factor, inflation, deserves more attention. Nothing can be more demoralizing to people at the low end of the income scale—where great masses in that region reside—than increases in the cost of basic necessities like food and fuel. It brings them out into the streets to protest government policies, especially in places where mass protests are the only means available to shake the existing power structure.

The consumer-price index in Egypt rose to more than 18% annually in 2009 from 5% in 2006, a more normal year. In Iran, the rate went to 25% in 2009 from 13% in 2006. In both cases the rate subsided in 2010 but remained in double digits.

Egyptians were able to overthrow the dictatorial Hosni Mubarak. Their efforts to fashion a more responsive regime may or may not succeed. Iranians are taking far greater risks in tackling the vicious Revolutionary Guards to try to unseat the ruling ayatollahs.

Probably few of the protesters in the streets connect their economic travail to Washington. But central bankers do. They complain, most recently at last week’s G-20 meeting in Paris, that the U.S. is exporting inflation.

China and India blame the U.S. Federal Reserve for their difficulties in maintaining stable prices. The International Monetary Fund and the United Nations, always responsive to the complaints of developing nations, are suggesting alternatives to the dollar as the pre-eminent international currency. The IMF managing director, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, has proposed replacement of the dollar with IMF special drawing rights, or SDRs, a unit of account fashioned from a basket of currencies that is made available to the foreign currency reserves of central banks.

About the only one failing to acknowledge a problem seems to be the man most responsible, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke. In a recent question-and-answer session at the National Press Club in Washington, the chairman said it was “unfair” to accuse the Fed of exporting inflation. Other nations, he said, have the same tools the Fed has for controlling inflation.

Well, not quite. Consider, for example, that much of world trade, particularly in basic commodities like food grains and oil, is denominated in U.S. dollars. When the Fed floods the world with dollars, the dollar price of commodities goes up, and this affects market prices generally, particularly in poor countries that are heavily import-dependent. Export-dependent nations like China try to maintain exchange-rate stability by inflating their own currencies to buy up dollars.

Mr. Bernanke has made it clear that his policy is to inflate the money supply. His second round of quantitative easing—the controversial QE2 policy to systematically purchase $600 billion in Treasury securities with newly created money—serves that aim. But even for the U.S. it is uncertain that Mr. Bernanke can hold to his 2% inflation target. Oil is going up. Foodstuffs are going up. And when the Fed sneezes money, the weak economies of the world, and the poor masses who are highly vulnerable to price rises in the necessities of life, catch pneumonia.

The turmoil in Iran is reminiscent of another period when the Fed was on an inflationary binge, the late 1970s. The Iranian oil boom had brought many thousands of peasants out of the villages into the cash economy in population centers like Tehran. On top of the disorientation resulting from that change itself, Iranians were then victims of an outbreak of inflation and a sharp decline in the purchasing power of the rials in their pay envelopes. Confused and angry, they supported the clerical revolution that unseated the shah and has been a thorn in America’s side ever since.

Today’s Iranian revolt has similar causes and, if successful, could be the flip side of 1979, a nation again friendlier toward the U.S. But there is no guarantee of that, or that states now friendly, like Bahrain, will remain so after an Egyptian-style upheaval.

Indeed, it is unlikely that Americans themselves will escape the inflationary consequences of current Fed policy. Aside from the rise in oil and foodstuffs, higher prices of manufactured goods are in the offing. China’s inflation rate is hovering at 5%. MKM Partners, a research and trading firm, last November reported that an internal study at Wal-Mart, a big importer from China, showed that the huge retail chain’s prices are edging up at an annual rate of 4% a year. That recent trend showed up in last week’s consumer-price index report.

The Fed is financing a vast and rising federal deficit, following a practice that has been a surefire prescription for domestic inflation from time immemorial. Meanwhile, its policies are stoking a rise in prices that is contributing to political unrest that in some cases might be beneficial but in others might turn out as badly as the overthrow of the shah in 1979. Does any of this suggest that there might be some urgency to bringing the Fed under closer scrutiny?

And while the above article points out the horrible effect Obama’s massive spending policies are having on the rest of the world, that cold is already catching here in America, too, given stories like this one:

Hope ‘n Change Coming To Fruition: Cost Of EVERYTHING About To Go Up

I told you so.  I TOLD you so.  I TOLD YOU SO.

It’s funny, actually.  As popular as Obama was with fools right here in America, he was even more popular with the fools in the rest of the planet.

And now those fools are beginning to starve because of their Fool-in-Chief.

Think of it: Obama is literally proving to be the fool who flung an entire planet into chaos and war.  After promising so many lies that he would do the exact opposite.

I still remember an arrogant, pathologically narcissistic and delusional Obama saying:

“I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on Earth.”

I’ve said stuff like this many times before, and I quote myself yet again:

Is Barack Obama the Antichrist?  There sure are a lot of signs that he is in the media!  But I believe that he is just one of the false messiahs (Matthew 24:24).  Rather than being THE Antichrist, I believe that Obama is just one of the false messiahs who will so completely screw up the United States and the world that Antichrist will be able to emerge to “save the day.”

You mark my words: the beast, the antichrist the Bible has warned us of two millenia in advance, is coming.  Barack Hussein Obama is a monumental fool who will plunge the entire world into collapse and anarchy.  And it will take a man who seems so great that he will literally be worshiped as GOD to appear to get us out of the destruction that Obama’s despicable and evil policies create.

The collapse may well not occur during Obama’s misbegotten regime.  But he will leave us in such a terrible position that the United States of America will necessarily inevitably collapse.  Once you fundamentally destroy something the way Obama is fundamentally destroying America, you can’t put it back together.  Even the wisest leadership won’t be able to save us.  Four years of Barack Obama was the curse of God damn America that will keep on cursing and cursing.

Liberals always claim that they help the little people.  But their policies HURT the little people.  Inflation is a curse brought about by Obama’s and the Democrat Party’s fiscally reckless and morally insane spending.  Inflation doesn’t hurt the wealthy, because they have the means to buy financial devices and investments such as gold that protect them from the ravages of inflation.  No, it is the poor whom Obama’s evil policies are most hurting.  It is the poor across the world who are rioting now because of food shortages that were brought about by Obama’s reckless polices.  And it will be the poor in America who will soon shortly be rioting in the streets because an evil man brought “God damn America” to our nation.

Yesterday one of his stellar backup singers took Kim by the hand and led her onstage, saying, “Look who I got.” Prince busted a move; Kim stood and laughed. So he dismissed her with a neck-snapping, “Get off the stage!” as the crowd roared. “Welcome 2 America,” he added, scanning the audience for another girl who “can get busy.”

Stars who have successfully boogied with Prince at MSG include Sherri Sheppard, Naomi Campbell, Alicia Keys, Whoopi Goldberg, Jamie Foxx, Tavis Smiley, Cornel West, and Spike Lee. Yes, Sherri Sheppard, the same woman who horrified Prince on national TV by proclaiming on “The View,” “I have wanted to make love to you for my whole life.” He’s even serenaded Leighton Meester with “I Love You But I Don’t Trust You Anymore.”

Kim’s defense, mounted on Twitter (of course): “I was so nervous I froze when Prince touched me!” She added that the Purple One gave her another chance, and she did, indeed, get funky. “This time I redeemed myself! We all danced while Prince played the piano! Wow! What a night!”

In truth, she should feel honored — because of Prince’s staunch anti-Internet stance, no fresh footage of him has managed to hit the web in years. In 2007, the singer even got into a fight with his fans when he pulled down images of everything from Prince-inspired tattoos to photos of his album covers — and when his devotees got angry, he wrote a diss track called “PFUnk” that includes the line, “I love all y’all, don’t you ever mess with me no more.” Thanks to the Kardashian smackdown, we got another glimpse of our favorite funkateer in action!

Well, there’s nothing about this article that is remotely important or meaningful.

What IS a testament to the rapidly approaching extinction of the late great USA and the Western Civilization it epitomizes is at the bottom:

The word “vacuous” comes to mind.  Can you not understand why radical Islam is exploding, given such a completely airheaded altnernative?

And yet this story came out just today, and 2,841 people believed it was so significant that they felt the need to comment about it.  And, good Lord, I came back three minutes later just to recheck, and the number had risen to 2,918 comments.

Now, I don’t waste my time with this kind of mind-sucking drivel.  But I can’t remember reading an important article about anything even remotely important that fired up this level of hype and attention.

It’s like the Animal Farm society is already here, living and breathing, in our midst.  And its zeitgeist has taken over our feeble little atrophied minds.  And every day, there is less and less and less about this civilization that is worth fighting for.  It has become a hollow facade, with everything that truly made it great carved out by political correctness, the postmodernist purge of truth and meaning and the progressive social-engineering doctrine of mutliculturalism.

The spine that made everything great in our democracy possible has been ripped out of our civilization.  The document that made our Constitution possible said, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”  Now nothing remains to provide a foundation for anything.

Except, of course, whether Kim Kardashian should have been kicked off the stage or not.

We are in a great sucking vortex of moral idiocy – trapped in a depraved culture that has tragically become like a giant reciprocating engine that just drives us downward and ever downward dumber and dumber with every stroke of its constantly pumping cylinders.

The Book of Ecclesiastes in the Bible sums it up marvelously in its second verse: “Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, vanity of vanities!  All is vanity.”

The beast is coming, the Antichrist warned about by that same Bible for some 2,600 years.  Everything is amazingly in place, including the technology for the mysterious “mark of the beast.”  Our rotted world system will soon collapse.  And when it implodes, it will do so with stunning speed in a matter of days.  Chaos will follow.  Economic collapse, wars and fighting, disease and death, just as Revelation 6 describes.  And this political beast, this Antichrist, this big government visionary will emerge onto the scene claiming to have all the answers.  Everything he does will appear to have the magic touch.  And the whole world will literally worship him in place of God.

We have already had a taste of this frenzied idolatry in the person of Barack Hussein Obama.  But what is coming will dwarf the empty “hope and change” of Obama.

And does anyone seriously believe that this present generation of vacuous amoral fools won’t worship him just as the Book of Revelation says?

What the Bible prophesies is no longer a collection of fanciful fable; it has become the most reasonable description of where are world is truly headed.

Iran Can Make Two Nuclear Bombs RIGHT NOW: Thanks For Armageddon, Barry Hussein!

Thanks for bringing Armageddon to the planet, Mr. Obama.  Because the world didn’t have enough problems.

Obama once so arrogantly said:

“I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on earth.”

And yet here we are, on day 41 of the environmental disaster overwhelming the Gulf of Mexico, with the oceans RISING faster than ever due to millions of barrels of oil that Obama could not be more completely useless to do anything to stop.

Which is why Chris Matthews – he who’s leg shivered whenever Obama spoke – has joined Democrat strategist James Carville in decrying Obama’s pathetic response to what may well be the world’s worst environmental disaster.

Way to heal the planet, Mister complete failure-in-chief.

“Ended a war?”  Bush ended a war in Iraq – in spite of you demagoguing and demonizing him for it.  And then to take credit for the success of Iraq after Bush secured the victory.  As for Obama’s war in Afghanistan, “Nobody’s winning,” and there’s no end in sight.  It’s a bleeding ulcer, as General McChrystal calls it.

How is Obama doing at “ending a war” in North Korea, where Kim Jong Il knows Obama is weak and appeasing.  North Korea committed an overt act of war in its unprovoked sinking a South Korean naval ship with 46 sailors murdered, and then ratcheted up the tension with insane rhetoric, knowing that Obama will cave and offer concessions rather than risk a confrontation.

And Obama certainly hasn’t done anything but help Iran by giving them all the time they needed to build nuclear weapons so they can kick off Armageddon and usher in the arrival of their Twelfth Imam.

VIENNA — Iran has amassed more than two tons of enriched uranium, the International Atomic Energy Agency said Monday in a report that heightened Western concerns about the country preparing to produce a nuclear weapon.

Two tons of uranium would suffice for two nuclear warheads, although Iran says it does not want weapons and is only pursuing civilian nuclear energy.

On enrichment, the report said Iran had now enriched 2,427 kilograms to just over three percent level. That means shipping out 1,200 kilograms (as proposed by the IAEA late in 2009) now would still leave Iran with more than enough material to make a nuclear weapon. That makes the deal brokered by Turkey and Brazil unattractive to the U.S and its allies

If the IAEA says that Iran has enough nuclear material to make two bombs, it probably has enough material to make 200.  This is the UN agency that has been wrong all along.  It was a terribly wrong IAEA report that gave despicable Democrats the ammunition to attack Bush when he tried to warn the country about the growing threat of Iran back when there was still plenty of time to do something about it.

Meanwhile, Israel is on the brink of war with the rest of the Middle East over a completely staged “massacre.” And one of the precursors setting this thing off is the realization by both the Israelis and the Muslims that Obama most definitely does NOT have Israel’s back.  The Muslims have been waiting for this moment since Israel became a nation: for the time when a weak, appeasing fool refused for the first time in six decades to support Israel in its greatest hour of need.

The beast is coming.

Revelation chapter 6 tells us that in the last days there will be terrible wars, great economic calamity, and awful famine.  And the beast will ride in on his white horse and appear to have a solution for everything.

And the naive fool of all fools who so arrogantly boasted that HE would be “the One” to create a global utopia will instead be the one to usher in the time of the worst dictator in human history.
