God Is Real. And The World’s Treatment Of Israel Is All The Proof You Need That Satan Is Real

August 2, 2014

I believe in God.  Now, that in and of itself is a pure no-brainer.  It is literally the abominable fool who denies it, according to God’s Word in Psalm 14:1-3.  It is not faith to believe in God, merely a matter of sheer common sense.  Romans 1:18-20 makes this point abundantly clear:

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them.  For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.  For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  Professing to be wise, they became fools…”

James 2:19 clearly points out that mere intellectual assent to God’s reality is nothing:

“You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that–and shudder.”

Thus the struggle of faith is not in believing that God exists; that is literally a thing to be taken for granted.  Rather the struggle of faith is to realize that the Creator of the universe and everything in it is truly good and truly loves you and has a beautiful plan for your life.  Sometimes that doesn’t seem so obvious – particularly when we see the evil in the world – and that is when we must practice faith.

“Faith” is trust.  We’re facing a difficult situation, things don’t seem to be going well, and we make the decision and the commitment to trust God.

That aspect of faith emerges in Hebrews 11:1, which states “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”  It’s not just heaven I haven’t seen; I haven’t seen what God will do in my life the rest of today.

What about the devil?  Is it hard to believe in the reality of the devil?

Not when I look at the way the world is judging Israel and taking the side of the terrorists who have intentionally burrowed themselves into the population so as to kill as many of their own people as possible while they try to murder as many Jews as possible, it isn’t.

It’s an interesting thing, evil.  I remember reading an influential article by the former mistress of Nazi philosopher Martin Heidegger about what she described as the banality of evil.  What does it mean to be banal?  It means to be trivial, obvious, predictable, to be devoid of originality.  There’s a boring “been there, seen that” aspect to evil.  And Hannah Arendt was making this point not about something mundane, like the man who urinates all over a public toilet seat and leaves his filthy mess for someone else to clean up, but rather the Final Solution of the Holocaust.

The men who carried out the Holocaust weren’t monsters with blood dripping off their fangs; they were bureaucrats who carried out sterile-sounding government policies.  Jews were declared to be non-human – precisely the way babies in the womb are to this day – and were regarded in official government language basically as a disposal dilemma that could be resolved with the application of bureaucracy.  You could read the Nazi documents and it wouldn’t be that much different from reading how the Environmental Protection Agency of the U.S. is attempting to dispose of some toxin that is polluting a river.  Only in this case the “river” was Europe and the “toxin” was Jews.  And sterile bureaucrats sterilely carried out sterile policies in such a manner that producing millions of corpses was a boring, commonplace industrial activity.

Hannah Arendt was pointing out that thousands and thousands of faceless bureaucrats and functionaries somehow all played their trivial, unimaginative, boring roles that collectively resulted in an evil so monstrous that the primary reason it is denied to this day is because it is simply too astonishingly horrifying to believe it actually happened in our modern, civilized age.  But of course it DID happen.  And how could something that evil have happened when none of the people who carried it out had the fangs of vampires or the claws of werewolves?

I submit that there is something transcendent about evil just as there is something transcendent about good.  Just as there is good that proves that there is a Higher God – because no human being could act so selflessly, so compassionately on his or her own, there is a similar quality about evil, such that there is evil that defies all reasonable capacity to explain it.

I’ll put it this way: as stupid, as blind and as depraved as humans are, there are some things that simply beyond human evil.  To wit: people cannot possibly be this stupid, this blind, this depraved on their own.  There has to be a superhuman will involved to twist us into such a depth of mindboggling stupidity, blindness and depravity.

I look at how fools condemn Israel in their fight against a Hamas organization that literally publically states its intention to murder every Jew on earth according to Article 7 of their charter and I realize that no human mind can possibly be this stupid, this blind and this depraved on its own.

Let me provide a specific, concrete example.  When Nancy Pelosi said:

“And we have to confer with the Qataris, who have told me over and over again that Hamas is a humanitarian organization. Mbe they could use their influence to–”

I contend that as a human being created in the image of a intelligent, aware, moral God that she is simply not capable of being that stupid, that blind and that depraved on her own to believe what came out of her own mouth.  There has to be a devil at work to produce that degree of unreality.

Just as I contend that when the senior spokesperson for Nancy Pelosi’s “humanitarian organization” urged the Palestinian people to serve as human shields

The [Hamas] Ministry of the Interior and National Security calls on our honorable people in all parts of the [Gaza] Strip to ignore the warnings [to vacate areas near rocket launching sites before Israel bombs them] that are being disseminated by the Israeli occupation through manifestos and phone messages, as these are part of a psychological war meant to sow confusion on the [Palestinian] home front, in light of the [Israeli] enemy’s security failure and its confusion and bewilderment.”

[Facebook page of Hamas Ministry of Interior spokesman Iyad Al-Buzum,
July 12, 2014]

– there simply has to be a Satan to delude a man to say such an incredible thing and there has to a Satan to delude mothers and fathers to allow their children to die as human shields for the cause of terror.

As I quoted from the Los Angeles Times Hamas intentionally and deliberately built a vast terrorist tunnel complex right under hospitals, schools and mosques as well as the most densely populated residential neighborhoods on earth in order to intentionally and deliberately force Israel to kill as many helpless civilians as possible in response to Hamas’ thousands of brutally inhuman rocket attacks:

Troops operating in and near Gaza have tracked 36 tunnels with dozens of access points, Deputy Foreign Minister Tzachi Hanegbi said Wednesday, as the Israeli offensive in Gaza entered its fourth week. Miles of passageways, many stocked with weapons and reinforced against explosions from above, pass near or directly beneath schools, mosques and hospitals, threading their way under some of the most densely populated terrain on Earth. — Los Angeles Times, July 30, 2014

Many of those tunnels have entrances directly TO the mosques, the hospitals, the schools such that Hamas fighters can use those “positions” to attack Israel with deadly weapons fire and then retreat safely and expose the helpless Palestinian civilians to death that Hamas and their tools cynically exploit as propaganda.

Hamas and its stooges such as Nancy Pelosi cannot be that callous, that stupid, that blind or that depraved all on their own.  It simply defies human ability to be that callous, that stupid, that blind and that depraved.  Human hearts and minds simply weren’t made for that.

Israel cares so much more about trying to prevent the deaths of helpless Palestinian civilians that Hamas or the Palestinian Authority or for that matter the Palestinian people themselves it is beyond unreal.  One side is trying to protect their citizens; the other side is trying to kill as many of their own people as possible merely so they can point at the other side and cry, “Look what they did!”  One side tries desperately to warn every Palestinian of an impending attack even down to the level of trying to call each home (and it is mindboggling what an organizational effort Israel must pursue to do such a thing) before an attack; the other side is ordering civilians to remain in their homes so they will be killed.

But which side is being condemned by the world?

It defies belief.  There is simply no way in this world what is happening can possibly be happening.  But it’s happening.

There is a Satan.  How Israel is being condemned and demonized while the most evil organization on the planet is enabled to continue intentionally exploiting its own people as human shields proves it beyond the shadow of a doubt to anyone capable of wisdom.

2 Corinthians 4:4 says “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”  That god is Satan.  And he and his demons are alive and well and working to blind every human being on earth.

There is simply no other rational explanation for what we are seeing.

God’s Word prophetically declared the resurrection of Israel from the graveyard of history in Ezekiel chapter 37.  The Bible went so far as to declare that Israel would literally be created in one day.  That happened exactly according to God’s Word in Isaiah 66:8 on May 14, 1948 by an act of the United Nations in response to the horror of the Holocaust.  And God’s Word also declared repeatedly that every single nation on earth would be against Israel.  We have now already seen that come to pass, as well.  And we know that it will only grow worse.

I become dismayed as I see evil prevailing while the few righteous people can seemingly do nothing to prevent it.  I and those who have the illumination of the Holy Spirit can see the world moving toward the worship of the beast all around us; yet we can do nothing to prevent it as more and more human beings are being deluded by Satan to make the choice to burn in hell and literally take their whole world to hell with them.  But God knew that it would happen and foretold it to His people.  And events are unfolding in these last days exactly according to His Word given to us millennia ago.

God’s Word according to 2 Thessalonians 2:3 puts it quite clearly:

Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.

God told us – guaranteed us – that the world would turn radically evil and rebel against God, God’s people and God’s righteousness in the last days just before the Antichrist came.  And that’s where we are, folks.

There is a God.  There is a Satan.  The players in this drama for sovereignty over the human race are real.  And the drama of the struggle is foretold in the prophecies of Scripture.

I am on the Lord’s side, as was Joshua before me.  In spite of the banality – the commonplace, trivial, obvious, predictable, even boring in its nearly all-encompassing nature – of evil, God will prevail in this struggle as He declared in His Word.

Israel Vs. Hamas: The Righteous Side Entirely With Israel While The Wicked Equivocate

July 31, 2014

The Obama administration seems to love to say, “Israel has the right to defend itself.  But…”

But there ARE no “buts.”  This isn’t one of those nuanced things where both sides have some right and both sides have some wrong.  Israel has the right to defend itself.  Period.  And Hamas is entirely in the wrong.  Period.  And every civilian who has died is the direct result of Hamas’ unrelenting attacks against Israel and HER innocent civilians.  And the Obama administration is wicked for saying one word to condemn Israel as they desperately try to limit the deaths and injuries of Palestinian civilians.  Israel not only sends leaflets before they bomb (allowing all the actual terrorists to flee the civilian-populated areas they deliberately infest so as to exploit their own people as human shields), they not only use concussive blasts as warnings before they destroy a target, but they even try when they can to call each HOUSE before they attack or bomb an area.

An article in the Los Angeles Times simply documents the nature of the atrocity that Hamas has committed:

Gaza tunnel network threat leaves Israelis shaken
By Laura King
July 30, 2014, 6:07 PM|Reporting from Kibbutz Erez, Israel

Beneath the wheat and watermelon fields surrounding this farm community just outside the Gaza Strip lies a threat that helps explain the overwhelming public support in Israel for the war against the Palestinian militant group Hamas..

A little over a week ago, assailants dressed in Israeli military uniforms clambered out of an underground passageway about halfway between this hamlet of 400 or so people and a neighboring kibbutz, Nir Am. Israeli troops killed nine of them, but not before the attackers killed four soldiers.

The specter of such assaults via a large and sophisticated network of subterranean passageways has profoundly shaken Israelis long accustomed to a different threat from the coastal strip, that of rocket and mortar fire. Four such infiltrations have taken place since the start of the Gaza offensive, killing at least 11 Israeli soldiers and haunting the collective psyche.

“From this, you can’t protect yourself,” said Ruti Sheves, 64, who has lived in Kibbutz Erez for 40 years. “You don’t have a shelter where you can run and be safe. You can’t be safe from this.”

“We already finished destroying more than 22, and it’s going on day and night,” Hanegbi said. “We want to go as fast as possible.”

Hamas for years has boasted that tunnels are an equalizer in an asymmetric battle. This week, Israelis were horrified by video Hamas released of an attack outside Nahal Oz, another farming community just outside the Gaza boundary, that left five Israeli soldiers dead.

Grainy but gripping, the attacker’s-eye images begin underground, emerging to open fields and blue sky. Lasting nearly four minutes, the video shows the assailants — faces blurred to prevent identification — exchanging fire with Israeli soldiers. They stand over one body and fire repeatedly at close range. One attacker triumphantly displays a seized machine gun.

The army has countered with its own brand of tunnel video, releasing almost daily images of specially trained troops gingerly dismantling booby traps and uncovering dark passageways.

The presence of the tunnel network has long been known to Israel; one was used to stage the 2006 attack that resulted in the kidnapping of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit. He was held captive in Gaza for five years before being freed in a massive prisoner exchange.

But the underground grid’s scope, scale and sophistication, which has become clear over the course of the current offensive, has caught many by surprise. Concrete-lined, with electricity and metal tracks for transport, the carefully ventilated passageways appear to have been designed as the conduit for both large-scale assaults and clandestine abductions. Israel says it has found “kidnap kits” consisting of handcuffs and tranquilizers in some of the tunnels.

In the heated rhetoric surrounding the fighting in Gaza, which has killed more than 1,200 Palestinians, many of them women and children, the tunnels have emerged as the key Israeli rationale for keeping up the fight rather than agreeing to a cease-fire lasting for longer than a matter of hours. The tunnels are also cited as the principal reason for military operations taking place in the heart of jam-packed Palestinian residential neighborhoods, which have exacted a heavy civilian toll.

“We will not complete the mission, we will not complete the operation, without neutralizing the tunnels, the sole purpose of which is the destruction of our civilians and the killing of our children,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said this week.

Fueling the anxiety among Israelis, the Maariv newspaper cited intelligence sources as saying that Palestinian militants had planned to use the tunnels to infiltrate Israel with a force consisting of hundreds of fighters disguised as Israeli soldiers, in an assault timed to the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashana, in late September.

Under heavy international pressure as the bloodletting mounts in Gaza, Israel appears to be trying to buy time to continue destroying the tunnel network.

“We are only a few days away from destroying the attack tunnels,” said Maj. Gen. Sami Turjeman, the head of Israel’s southern command, said in a televised briefing Wednesday night. He sounded a note often echoed by Israeli officialdom: Hamas could have built “two hospitals, 20 schools, 20 clinics and 100 kindergartens” with the cement and other materials used to construct the tunnels.

Attention to the tunnel network has supplanted even the alarm over the more than 2,500 rockets and missiles fired at Israel during the offensive. Debate about whether the discovery of the scope of the problem represents an intelligence failure has been muted by reluctance to criticize the army at what is seen as a time of crisis.

How best to deal with the threat in the long term has been dissected and discussed by a parade of technical experts. Destroying the tunnels is almost as much of an engineering challenge as constructing them must have been, military officials say.

Though technology plays a role in uncovering the passageways, Reserve Brig. Gen. Shimon Daniel, a former head of the army’s combat engineering corps, said intelligence and surveillance collected over a long period played an equally important role.

Like other officers who have been immersed in tunnel tracking, he cited the unnerving psychological dimension of the tunnels in the eyes of the Israeli public.

“Most threats you hear and see,” he said. “But this has the element of surprise, of the unknown, and that’s very frightening to people.”

At Kibbutz Erez, residents set up a 24-hour “war room” in one of the community’s bomb shelters. It was here that they gathered to monitor events during the July 21 alert while soldiers were battling the tunnel-borne assailants.

The drama took hours to play out. After Israeli spotters detected the assailants’ presence, there was hasty and frantic debate about whether they might actually be Israeli forces. So convincing were the attackers’ counterfeit uniforms that they even had regulation-style bands to keep pant legs from bunching when tucked into boots.

It was only after drone surveillance revealed that the men who mysteriously appeared in the fields at dawn were carrying Kalashnikov assault rifles, which are not used by the Israeli military, that troops moved definitively against them, Israeli news reports said later.

“This is our home, and we’re not leaving,” said Orna Naim, 52, who together with her husband had raised three children at Kibbutz Erez. “We wish we could live as neighbors, in peace. But this has to stop.”

There are two paragraphs that are particularly worth noting:

Troops operating in and near Gaza have tracked 36 tunnels with dozens of access points, Deputy Foreign Minister Tzachi Hanegbi said Wednesday, as the Israeli offensive in Gaza entered its fourth week. Miles of passageways, many stocked with weapons and reinforced against explosions from above, pass near or directly beneath schools, mosques and hospitals, threading their way under some of the most densely populated terrain on Earth.

and:

Hamas for years has boasted that tunnels are an equalizer in an asymmetric battle. This week, Israelis were horrified by video Hamas released of an attack outside Nahal Oz, another farming community just outside the Gaza boundary, that left five Israeli soldiers dead.

The first paragraph conclusively demonstrates the extent to which Hamas has gone to expose as many innocent civilians and as many “off-limits” targets such as hospitals, schools and mosques to attack as they possibly could.

The second makes a cynical point: Hamas views the tunnels as an “equalizer” not because it makes them the equal of Israel in battle, but rather because they know that they can count on fools such as Barack Hussein Obama to demonize Israel for the deaths of the Palestinian civilians Israel is forced to kill trying to root out the vicious terrorists who are burrowed right under people’s homes and hospitals and schools and mosques.

If you are not attributing every single Palestinian death to the wickedness of Hams, YOU are wicked.  You are literally so wicked that you are seeking to reward Hamas and their agenda to fulfill Article 7 of their Charter

‘The Day of Judgment will not come about until Moslems fight Jews and kill them. Then, the Jews will hide behind rocks and trees, and the rocks and trees will cry out: ‘O Moslem, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him.’ (Article 7, Hamas Charter)

– by helping them fulfill their strategy to forcibly expose as many of their own people to death as possible and then to politically exploit every death as an Israeli “atrocity.”

Just the other day, a United Nations school was destroyed.  I will bet you that school was located DIRECTLY OVER one of Hamas’ tunnels that Israel is desperately trying to destroy.

But another relevant fact is this:

UN aid agency for Palestinian refugees said Tuesday that a stockpile of Hamas rockets was found in one of UNRWA’s Gaza schools — for the third time since the onset of Operation Protective Edge.

The incident, however, was not publicized by UNRWA on its website or official Twitter feed, or that of its spokesperson.

We find that each time the United Nations has caught Hamas using one of their schools for terrorist headquarters, the United Nations has actually given Hamas back their rockets so they could use them to try to kill more Jews.

Which is why at this point I accuse the United Nations of participating in war crimes by using innocent civilians as human shields and humanitarian sites as military installations.  The United Nations is more guilty of war crimes than Israel.

Israel needs to be allowed to destroy these tunnels.  They need to destroy the rockets and they need to continue to blockade whatever parts of Gaza that Hamas has ANY political control over so Hamas cannot continue to amass terror networks and arsenals.

Finally, every nation on earth that sends any aid whatsoever to any area controlled by Hamas is part of the terrorist network.  Because each of those thirty-plus tunnels – which the LA Times documents are incredibly sophisticated and elaborate – cost an average of $3 million dollars.  And where did Hamas get the $90-plus million to build these tunnels?  From Obama, for one.

Hamas has not only rejected multiple cease-fires and continued their attack, but they have even violated their OWN cease-fires.  Which is tantamount to asking for peace so I can sucker-punch you in the mouth and then asking for peace again.

It’s time to stand up with Israel, stand up for what is right and demonize the demonizers.

Islamist Anti-U.S. Terrorism Rejuvenated Under Obama Weakness

June 4, 2009

Bush kept us safe.  For that he has been unrelentingly demonized by the left.  Those days – other than the ongoing demonization – are gone.  Now we have the Obama administration – which rebranded “the war on terror” as an “overseas contingency operation”; which decided to start referring to “terror attacks” as “man-caused disasters”; which only just today screwed up and leaked nuclear secrets – in charge of keeping America safe.

Even as Obama has sought to have hardcore terrorist Gitmo detainees released to US prisons – which would further radicalize our prison systemfour Muslims (three of whom had converted while in prison) were captured in the act of planting bombs in an FBI sting operation.  While only .06 percent of Americans are Muslims, militant Wahhabist Islam is the fastest growing religion in the US prison system – especially among young African-Americans).

Why worry about terrorists coming to us from Muslim lands when we can grow our very own hardened Islamist terrorists right here?

Yesterday we suffered the first successful domestic terrorist attack (the second if you count the Tiller murder) under the Obama administration.  The Muslim convert who killed one American soldier and wounded another outside a recruiting center offered this account for his actions:

Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad, 23, also known as Carlos Bledsoe, is charged with capital murder and 16 counts of terroristic acts.

According to the police reports, Muhammad admitted to shooting the victims, and then revealed how and why.

He told police that he put three weapons, including an assault rifle, into his SUV and then drove around until he saw the Recruiting Station and the two soldiers smoking outside the building.

He then pulled into the parking lot in front of the station, stopped his vehicle, and began shooting at the soldiers standing outside, firing several rounds from an SKS assault rifle with the intent of killing them. Muhammad also told officers that he would have killed more soldiers if they had been on the parking lot. Muhammad also told police he was a practicing Muslim, and that he was mad at the U.S. military because of what they had done to Muslims in the past.

The terrorist who contributed to one of Obama’s “man-caused disasters” had maps to several other targets.

But these are just warm-up acts for the bloodletting to follow.  We only need to worry over such attacks when we let a radicalized convict out of one of our prisons.

Yesterday on Fox News Special Report, Amy Kellog in London reported:

“The general manager of al-Arabia says the press tends to treat Obama as a friend of the region, something that could backfire efforts to combat extremism.”

The general manager of al-Arabia then said:

“I have to mention as well – uh, let’s call them, you know, the ‘bad guys’ – that time they feared Bush.  They do not seem to fear Obama right now.  So the psychology of fear does not exist today with Obama so far because they don’t think he will launch a war.  They don’t take his threats seriously.”

“They feared Bush.  They do not seem to fear Obama.  They don’t think he will launch a war.  They don’t take his threats seriously.”

And what happens when Islamist terrorists lose their fear of America and its president?

We have a major al-Qaeda announcement from Osama bin Laden warning America of “revenge on the U.S.”

And we have a terrifying message coming from a major al-Qaeda recruiter, Kuwati professor Abdallah Fahd Abd Al-’Aziz Al-Nafisi.  During his message, he predicted a biological warfare attack “guaranteed to kill 330,000 Americans within a single hour,” and prayed for success of potential attacks “bombing nuclear plants within the US.”

Abdallah Al-Nafisi: Four pounds of anthrax – in a suitcase this big – carried by a fighter through tunnels from Mexico into the US, are guaranteed to kill 330,000 Americans within a single hour, if it is properly spread in population centers there.  What a horrifying idea.  9/11 will be small change in comparison. Am I right? There is no need for airplanes, conspiracies, timings, and so on.  One person, with the courage to carry four pounds of anthrax, will go to the White House lawn, and will spread this “confetti” all over them, and then will do these cries of joy. It will turn into a real “celebration.”

The WMD is a problem.  The Americans are afraid that the WMDs might fall into the hands of “terrorist” organizations, like Al-Qaeda and others.  There is good reason for the Americans’ fears, because Al-Qaeda used to have in the Herat region… It had laboratories in north Afghanistan. They have scientists, chemists, and nuclear physicists. They are nothing like they are portrayed by these mercenary journalists – backward Bedouins living in caves. No, no.  By no means. This kind of talk can fool only naïve people.  People who follow such things know that Al-Qaeda has laboratories, just like Hizbullah.  Hizbullah has laboratories in South Lebanon, in which it produces weapons and sells them. Hizbullah has laboratories in South Lebanon, from which it sells weapons to Romania and Hungary.

While Obama drones on about a peace plan that he is indicating to the Muslim world will benefit Palestinians at the expense of Jews, al-Nafisi says:

Allah states in the Koran that the hostility between us and [the Jews] is eternal. So whoever talks about dialogue – cut off his tongue! What dialogue are they talking about?! There is no room for dialogue. Allah said that our hostility towards the Jews is eternal, and then along comes someone and talks about brotherhood and so on… This contradicts the Koran. Anyone who contradicts the Koran is an infidel. Accusing people of heresy? Yes, I’m all for it. Yes, I support accusing people of heresy.

And he ends his message by saying:

I, Abdallah Fahd Abd Al-’Aziz Al-Nafisi, am inciting you to confront, using any means possible, anyone who speaks out against the resistance. “Any means possible” – get it?

Al-Qaeda knows that the United States is wearing a giant “Kick Me” sign on its southern border.  Given the fact that Mexican peasants can easily cross into the country, how hard could it be for hardened Spanish-speaking Islamist terrorists to find their own path in with four extra pounds of weight?

Read the WorldNetDaily story for more.

Neville Chamberlain – the former prime minister of Great Britain who has come to be universally mocked for his appeasement of Adolf Hitler – was absolutely ruthless in advancing his liberal-socialist domestic agenda.  It was only in his foreign policy and his dealings with dictators that he revealed himself to be pathetically weak and appallingly naive.

The message that Obama promised America was that he would somehow put an end to all the enmity and divisions of the world.  But he hasn’t reduced our Islamist enemies by so much as a single terrorist.  Rather, all he has succeeded in doing is removing their fear of any meaningful American response under a president they rightly believe to be weak.
