Nancy Pelosi, the perennially unhinged Speaker of the House – and the paradigmatic example of what happens when Democrats are put in charge – had this to say about Barack Obama:
NANCY PELOSI (D-CA), HOUSE SPEAKER: “God certainly did shed His grace on America with the leadership of Barack Obama.”
I couldn’t help but recall what happened the LAST TIME God “shed His grace” on a place that had come to epitomize the values of Nancy Pelosi and her new lord and savior, Barack Obama:
Conservatives remember the Alamo. Liberals remember Sodom and Gomorrah.
Vote for Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama: bring back the wrath of God.

This is my take on the famous Lyndon Johnson “Daisy” ad that destroyed Barry Goldwater.
I wish I could see it on TV:
Child’s voice singing “America, America God shed His grace on thee…” while Nancy Pelosi says her asanine drivel.
A few representative snips of San Francisco “moral values” in action with Obama’s “bitterly clinging to guns and religion” (which he delivered IN San Francisco) remark playing in the background.
And then cometh the mushroom cloud.
It occurs to me that the Democrats whine about Republicans using “fear” to win elections, when they were the prototypical originators of the whole idea.

HI, I JUST READ YOUR BLOG SITE. I CAN’T SAY YOUR COMMENTS ADD ANYTHING TO THE CURRENT PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION AS FAR AS WHO’S PLANNED POLICIES (McCAIN’S OR OBAMA’S) WOULD BE WORKABLE AND BENEFIT THE COUNTRY THE MOST. ALL I HEAR ARE STATEMENTS AND COMMENTS THAT PUT DOWN DEMOCRATS. I THINK THERE ARE FINE PEOPLE IN BOTH PARTIES AND MANY GOOD IDEAS. WHILE IT MAY MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD TO HAVE THIS TYPE OF BLOG, I DO NOT THINK IT CONTRIBUTES MUCH TO IMPROVING THINGS IN OUR COUNTRY. IT DOES NOT PROMOTE BOTH PARTIES WORKING TOGETHER AND CONTINUES THE DIVISION THAT KEEPS OUR GOVERNMENT FROM WORKING IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE COUNTRY.
TRY TO ADD YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE POSITIONS AND PLANNED POLICIES OF BOTH CANDIDATES. IT IS OK TO BE CONSERVATIVE AND IT IS OK TO BE A MIDDLE OF THE ROAD THINKER AND IT IS OK TO BE A LIBERAL.
TIME TO WAKE UP AND BE OPEN MINDED AND TOLERANT OF OTHERS VIEWS. STOP BEATING DOWN PEOPLE AND SUPPORT OR NOT SUPPORT REAL POLICIES. THERE IS TO MUCH AT STEAK. THE CONSERVATIVES LOVED G.W. BUSH AND LOOK WHAT HE HAS DONE TO THIS COUNTRY.
