My first comment by way of referencing the below story is that Rush Limbaugh did NOT call Sandra Fluke a “slut” for “her views on contraception.” He called her a slut because, according to her own testimony, she and all the women she was speaking for were having sex three times a day every single day, according to her “$3,000” example. And whether you like it or not, if Sandra Fluke was getting mounted three times a day every single day by myriad boys, she most definitely qualifies for the technical descriptive term “slut.”
Another article correctly reports the Sandra Fluke testimony as, “Sex-crazed co-eds going broke buying birth control.” That is simply factually accurate reporting of Sandra Fluke’s testimony.
Limbaugh also points out that if Sandra Fluke wants us to pay her for having all of this sex, she fully qualifies for the label “prostitute” as well. And, probably crassly, he says that if America is supposed to pay for Sandra Fluke to have sex three times a day every single day, the least she could do is set up a video camera in her dorm room so we can watch as a return on our investment.
You can argue that Rush Limbaugh was actually respecting Sandra Fluke. Based on her testimony and the numbers she provided, she is either an abject slut or a pathological liar. And he assumed that she wasn’t a pathological liar.
Well, anyway, Barack Obama, the community-agitator-in-chief, decided to invoke the full weight of the presidency of the United States in this crisis. Because if he’s spending his time on this issue, he can keep procrastinating dealing with the only slightly less important crisis of Iran on the verge of nuclear weapons and the whole Armageddon thing:

According to White House spokesman Jay Carney, the president called Georgetown University student Sandra Fluke on Friday and expressed his disappointment that she was the target of Limbaugh’s personal attacks. Obama reportedly thanked Fluke for supporting his administration’s policy of requiring health insurance coverage of contraceptives for women.
The call came moments before Fluke was set to appear on the TV news network MSNBC. Speaking to host Andrea Mitchell about the president’s call, Fluke said: “What was really personal for me was [that] he said to tell my parents that they should be proud.”
Limbaugh called Fluke a “slut” and a “prostitute” on Wednesday after she expressed her support for the administration’s policy in an informal testimony on Capitol Hill.
Then, on Thursday, on his nationally syndicated radio show, he added: “So, Miss Fluke, if we are going to … pay for you to have sex, we want something for it. We want you to post the videos online so we can all watch.”
Limbaugh’s outburst has already prompted some advertisers to pull their support for his controversial show. Following heavy pressure from the Democrats, House speaker John Boehner described Limbaugh’s comments as “inappropriate”. Boehner argued, however, that the Democrats were using the incident as an opportunity to raise money.
On Friday, Boehner’s spokesman, Michael Steel, echoed the concerns, saying: “The speaker obviously believes the use of those words was inappropriate, as is trying to raise money off the situation.”
At last month’s hearing, Fluke pointed out that her fellow Georgetown students pay as much as $1,000 a year for contraceptives that are not covered by student health plans.
On his show on Wednesday, Limbaugh equated the payment to prostitution.
“What does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute,” he said.
“She wants to be paid to have sex … She’s having so much sex she can’t afford contraception,” Limbaugh added.
Georgetown – itself a Jesuit school – has, along with a number of other Catholic institutions, denounced the Obama administration’s contraception policy as an infringement on their religious rights.
Rather than apologize, Limbaugh has stood by his inflammatory rhetoric. On his Thursday show, he referred to a controversial joke made by Rick Santorum’s wealthy backer, Foster Friess, suggesting women should hold aspirin tablets between their knees in order to remain abstinent.
“I will buy all of the women at Georgetown University as much aspirin to put between their knees as they want,” Limbaugh said.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is gathering signatures for an online petition calling on Republican leaders to “denounce Rush Limbaugh’s cruel tirade against women”.
Fluke responded to Limbaugh in a written statement, saying: “No woman deserves to be disrespected in this manner. This language is an attack on all women, and has been used throughout history to silence our voices.”
Obama’s choices about who he calls and who he doesn’t is actually rather fascinating: he never bothered to pick up the phone and call the parents of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry who was murdered as a result of Obama’s Fast And Furious gun scandal, for instance.
If that isn’t outrageous enough, allow me to also point out that the same Obama who is outraged by Rush Limbaugh’s calling Sandra Fluke a “slut” just accepted $1 million from Bill Maher AFTER Maher called Sarah Palin a “cunt.”
Barack Obama’s outrage is purely hypocritical and purely ideological. That is simply a documented fact.
Well, something seems to be worth remembering about all of these self-righteous liberals as we contemplate the horror of Rush Limbaugh calling a woman who spends $1,000 a year on her out-of-control sexual addiction; it wasn’t all that terribly long ago that David Letterman called Sarah Palin a slut. Which is to say that $3,000 birth control is just another demonic lie from the demonic left. Liberals like Sandra Fluke and Nancy Pelosi who brought this liar in to falsely testify have no honesty or integrity and they simply lie like the hell they are going to to manipulate stupid people.
Further, since Sandra Fluke is trying to force universities – and in particular THE PRIVATE CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY THAT SHE CHOSE TO GO TO – to provide birth control, let’s point out the fact that Georgetown law school costs $23,432.50 PER SEMESTER. NOT COUNTING TEXTBOOKS, fwiw. Forty seven thousand dollars a year is no problem for this “slut,” but that $108 she has to spend on birth control for her own private business is just busting her tiny little balls.
Rather than demonize and attack the Catholic Church and her universities, why doesn’t Sandra Fluke go after the REAL crisis facing university students: THE OUT OF CONTROL TUITION INFLATION which is even WORSE at public colleges and universities that are completely dominated by the left???
Bottom line: if Sandra Fluke wants to slut around and live in a universe of outright lies, the very least she can do is go to one of the many leftist public colleges that love that garbage.

What a handy witness she turned out to be last week on behalf of Obama’s contraception mandate. So important was she to Obama’s theater show that he personally called her to apologize for things Rush Limbaugh said on his program concerning her testimony.
Fluke testified that she and her classmates have to spend $3,000 during their time at Georgetown on contraception, and it’s simply an unbearable financial burden for them. If they paid top-dollar for birth control pills, that would be about $600 a year; $1,800 for three years. A box of condoms ranges from about $4.00 to $15.00. That’s maybe another $100 a year, but still nowhere close to $3,000.

First, you assert that this statement from Rush was “factual” by siting that this woman claimed to have sex three times a day with, and I’m quoting You here, “a myriad of boys”. Not only did she never say anything about multiple sex partners (for all you know, she has a very healthy monogamous relationship), but you’re just willfully ignorant with your use of the word “factual” there, no doubt about it. Second, im not sure how you’ve gotten by all these years being so ignorant of the female experience, but birth control pills are not taken on a “pill per screw” regimen, guy! Thats just the sillyest thing I’ve heard in a good minute! You take them daily, once a day that is, consistently, to help regulate your menstrual cycle, relieve pain involved with menstrual cramps, clear your skin of hormone-induced breakouts, among many other things, and of course, to help you make sure that you dont get pregnant before you are financially secure enough, emotionally mature enough, and socially secure enough (to offer the child a father) to start having babies. Without birth control, baby Rush, you’d have a much more problematic welfare situation on your hands, and many more poor, dysfunctional individuals. And in closing, I think that when Letterman, a comedian, calls a politician a slut, its probably not because she is directly and clearly trying to fight for the inalienable civil rights of a somewhat disenfranchised people…even Letterman has taste! Context is everything, dont sweep it under the rug to get your point across! That’s called lying.

Fact: Contraception is not something you take based on just how much sex you have, its not Viagra, a woman on prescription birth control takes it every day, whether or not she has sex, its like most other prescription drugs you take it daily.
Fact: Contraception is not just about birth control, these pills also serve medical purposes, and many women, including lesbians, take it to regulate hormones and deal with other medical issues, including life threatening ones.
Fact: Insurance already covers things like Viagra, so its already paying for people’s sex lives.

And “religious freedom” means freedom Of religion just as much as it means freedom From religion. It is not the duty of government to assign the meaning of morality. It is their job, however, to ensure justice for all, to the best of their ability, and for low income women to be denied affordable family planning methods and reproductive freedom, due to someone else’s religious affiliation is, by definition, unjust. Imagine what it would be like if Atheism and Christianity switched places, like in a freaky Friday scenario. If you can clearly understand that, to the best of your ability, with no willful ignorance, then you will be able to think of this thing more fairly. Also, Christ is love, not blind hatred. A) There’s a difference between saying someone looks slutty and calling them a slut. Letterman saying Palin has a “slutty flight attendant look” isn’t the same as calling her an actual slight, although it admittedly was in poor taste. B) Lobbying for health insurance to cover birth control does NOT make someone a slut. Fluke never said anywhere in her speech that she PERSONALLY spent $3,000 on birth control. Those were her calculations on what it COULD cost. She also did not mention how many partners she had or whether or not she was in a long term relationship during her speech. She DID mention a case where a girl with PCOS was prescribed birth control for her condition (it can also be used for endometriosis) and a case where a married couple stopped using birth control because they couldn’t afford it. It’s funny how people like to make assumptions and twist people’s words, and yes, I know that the left does this too. It is stupid to assume that anyone who uses birth control is sleeping around.

You raise some very good points. HL above also pointed out that Sandra Fluke was hardly what she represented herself (not that the media would ever bother to actually report the truth when they can spread propaganda instead).
Do you notice how all the actual factual LIES are coming from the Democrats, but all the blame is being directed at the Republicans? Let’s just file this under “par for the course in a God damn America that is heading to hell fast” folder.
It’s not just Sandra Fluke who ought to be brought up on charges; it’s Nancy Pelosi, who invited this THIRTY YEAR OLD activist to come and lie to the American people.
I already alluded to Norma McCorvey (“Jane Roe”) above. This is rather like that case: only instead of an ACLU attorney encouraging lies to bolster her dishonest case, it’s Nancy Pelosi this time.

You see, she has two qualities – virtue and common sense – that are both fundamentally incapable with God damn America. And as all the killer tornados, the sky high gas prices and Israel about to be forced to attack Iran – to go along with the direct assault on the 1st Amendments freedom of religion and right to individual conscience – exhibit, this IS God damn America.

I would like to know exactly how stupid Obama thinks the american people are that he has a news conference the same day we go to vote. Funny that he did not come out sooner, but this is just the same thing he has been saying forever. He has no new ideas just repeats himself over and over. Why none of the press questions him about the Keystone pipeline is just amazing. He does not want the gas prices to drop. He wants everything green! this proves to me this man is a socialist and given another term, will have every one on the government dole. This man is extremely arrogant and stupid.

Obama is a malignant narcissist. He has to get all the attention and the ONE thing he believes is that everyone MUST love him no matter what. He asked what president would want high gas prices while he was running for re-election – and the answer is OBAMA. Obama is like the rapist who thinks his victims will love him after he rapes them. In this case, he wanted high energy prices and said he wanted high energy prices and handpicked an energy secretary who said he would try to make American gas prices like those of Europe (hint: that’s like $7 a gallon now). So the president who told us that energy prices would “necessarily skyrocket” under his administration and the president who picked an energy secretary who wanted to DOUBLE our gas prices doesn’t want high energy/gas prices??? Of course he does; but like that rapist, he keeps telling his victims things will be better soon, you’ll see.
The real question isn’t whether Obama is stupid or not; it’s whether the American people are stupid or not. We WERE stupid in 2008. Have we gotten any smarter since then???

Thanks for posting that trip down memory lane.
Rush’s “highly offensive remark” coverage made the front page of the Los Angeles Times yesterday. The article was that – as much as all us lefties want – Rush probably won’t be going away because of his loyal following of millions.
There was no mention of the lengthy history of “highly offensive remarks” from the left that make Rush’s look like Sunday School talk.
I never ceased to be amazed at how the same people who drool hate every single day can act like Queen Victoria walking through a house of prostitution whenever they see a conservative saying 1/100th of what they say.
I also never ceased to be amazed at how the liberal remarks never seem to make the front pages of the liberal newspapers, but the conservative remarks are talked about, discussed, and “analyzed” for weeks.

This man danced around the question Ed Henery asked at the press conference about gas prices better than Fred Astair. He never did give a straight response but now he can save his breath. When he called all his cronies in the senate and begged or threatened them to vote no on the Keystone pipeline I guess we can all figure him out. You are, of course, referring to the correspondent who tried to confront Obama with the fact that he’s taking a million dollars from a man who called a conservative woman a “cunt” and a “dumb twat” among other filth. That, of course, is perfectly appropriate and there’s nothign wrong with Obama accepting such a donor. No matter how wrong or hypocritical something might appear to be, it is only wrong or hypocritical if our new messiah says it is wrong or hypocritical.
Oh, and of course, as our messiah in chief, Obama transcends laws such as the law of supply and demand. Henceforth, increasing supply cannot even possibly reduce price. Obama has so decreed it and you are a racist if you think otherwise.
